Customer care service provided by voltas is really poor.Firsr they commit to send servicemen for repair and wothout any kind of notification they cancel the appointment.
Worst customer care service i ve ever seen.

    I lodged a complaint on 16th Aug stating that there is an issue with the cooling of the AC.I got a revert back email at 5:15 pm on 16th august mentioning the name of the ASM - Vijay Kumar along with his contact details stating that the complaint will be resolved in 24 hours.(SR# number [protected] ).I also got a call on which i mentioned that the engineer visit should be done before lunch at any cost and i was given an assurance for the same.On the same call i was told there is no visiting charges.Now the series of events happened like this :

    1. on 17th August, after waiting till 1 pm when i finally called the ASM, he had no clue where the engineer was..After kept me on hold and a tedious cordinations he told me that Engineer will visit at 3:30pm(which isnt before lunch by an means)
    2. Engineer visited and diagnosed that the issue is gas leakage and cant be rectified on the same day.Also, committed to get the AC picked in the morning (around 11)next day (18th Aug) and installing it back on the same evening.When asked about the charges he said its 2050 INR however you will have to pay 350 INR right now as visiting charges which is included in 2050, Remaining can be paid once the service is done (1700)
    3. when i didnot recieve a notification till 11, i called d same guy who had visited a day before and he had no clue as to why AC hadn't been picked up.First he gave some other number, which was switched off.then, he asked me to call back meanwhile he can confirm, when i called back i got to know that the Pick up Driver is on Leave and it will be picked up the next day (19th Aug).
    4.When i said this is extremely wrong as i have office to attend and had already taken an off on 17th because o[censored]r delay in visit, he committed that AC will be picked up on the same evening (18th Aug)
    5. Now i have been calling the Engineer since 5:30 neither he is taking my calls nor anybody has come to visit my place to pick up the AC.
    6. Finally i called Customer Care just to know the status, first the Rep said he will forward the complaint and it will be resolved soon, he also said that the visiting charges are 250INR and AC repair charges are 1800 INR.Now, when i insisted to give me the TAT, he said there is no timeline for such things and escalated the call to his Senior who again said that he is trying to contact his senior but his senior isnt responding either hence, he has arranged a call back.When asked if i would get a call back today he again said not sure, may or may not.

    Now my issue is 1. Why do u give fake timeline commitments to Customer.2.Where is the Customer service when a simple thing like leaking gas cant be cured in a day and a half.3. Do you think customer is sitting idle and at home to just keep waiting for your Executives. 4. If you have given a time for the step 2 in complaint resolving process, and if at all you arent able uto fulfill the same, Arent u supposed to inform Customer about the same instead of Customer taking follow ups . 5. When Customer is trying to contact you ASMs' number is not answerable, Technician is not answering the phone, What should poor customer do?? 6. What about those 350 rs i paid to the Engineer (coz i dont have the patience to wait for Voltas, i have booked the service/gas refilling from some local technician now)

    Tell me who is going to pay for this loss of money when i took an off from my work to get this AC repaired

    True pathetic response from these people. I have been experiencing the same issue from last 14 days. Several attempt have been made ..all gone in vain. These folks just make money for their visits nothing else. It's like a cancer lollipop being served . Don't recommend any one to go for Voltas.
    AC window given for service Viveks India private limited chennai - 60 days back., no response till now., very annoying .,

      Ratna fan house chennai vide invoice no ---20384 dated 10/08/2016.today 12/08/2016 fixed by taking
      LONG 8 hrs time and it is not working

      very very shame full, pls help me to get Refund of my money
      voltas co person full day trying to do its best for a/c to work but it is not working and now he said tommorrow he will bring new parts and again will try.

        I have been cheated. This cocompany is fraud and have been making false promise to the consumers. Pathetic responses since the installation takes place. I have been mentally harressed and mentally and physically. I will not recommend any one in my locality to opt for voltase. These guys just give cactus pills to their customers. Kindly help to get rid from these fraud company.

        Hi Voltas, I have been harrsed and feel cheated since the installation takes place. Response is pathetic from your agencies. Every time they had send their technicians just to make money for their special visit which has nothing to do with the services and technical fault. It's been now a week but no proper action has been taken. Now I am bound to take a legal action for mental harassment and being cheated .

        Please resolve this ongoing issue.

        Hi,
        I am writing again to make you all aware that response from Voltas was highly disapoited . I have aleady made a several attempt to CC voltas over phone but all efforts gone in vain. There was a cooling issue was not addressed properly nor being checked technically by your local person . They have just made their visit to make money for their special visits which has nothing to do with technical fault check up. Finally they have come up with the conclusion that there was a leackage of gas. Which should have brought to our notice in prior .We had really struggled in these days mentally and physically. Still my AC issue has not been resolved in these 7-8 days. Despite of that I have been forced to pay for Gas filling . I have been cheated . You guys just give cactus pills to your valuable customers . It's like measuring a cricket groud with the help of a coin and asking for a repeat .
        I hope to hear a positive response from you to avoid any further delay.

        I think response has been freezed . This has been put in the dust bin. I have given given a cancer lillop now. No calls no follow up rather I have been continuously following . Entire follow ups and conversation clearly indicates that you guys are least concern on cusumers concern . You guys are forcing me to drag this issue further .

            Sir,
            I had purchased the voltas water dispenser before 4 months.
            We are situated in apmc grain market vashi where there is the issue of rats which cuts the inlet pipe. Last time on dated 02/052016, complained no. [protected] which was solved after one and half month after calling several times.

            On 20/07/2016, the same problem has been occured. We called to voltas service center and posted a complained (No. [protected]). After that day we have got no reply. Today, myself the owner of the shop called to the service center then there mr. Nitin said that we are not sure how many days it will take as it comes from bhiwandi. Then i asked him again approximately how much time it will take then he replied rudely and said that it can take even two months like last time. He does not know how to talk with the customer and shown fully unprofessionalism and after he said we will not repair the product. I have seen this kind of service center and people first time.

            Reply as soon as possible.

              I have purchased 3 ton voltas slim line ac fand its pcb is damaged and i have lodgd a complaint 3 months ago, but as of now i haven't received that product and whole season my ac is kept off, voltas customer care center is highly poor, and their staff is also not responsible, they hardly care about open complaints, will never buy voltas in future nor i will suggest to anyone.

                I had bought a Voltas 1.5 ton split AC 183DY from a local dealer D.S. Electronics in April 2016. Since then I am facing issues with the AC and have logged at least 5 complaints on customer care. Sometimes there is Gas leakage, many times water leakage. Spending so much money in buying an AC and then getting such a product is really dis-heartening and disappointing.

                Always the customer service has been delayed and worst but this time the service centers and Customer care have crossed all the limits.

                On Friday 5th August 2016 I raised a complaint ([protected]) for my AC as there was again a water leakage causing the stabilizer and my sofa unit drenched in water (thankfully no short circuit occurred). The customer care person mentioned that the complaint will be addressed withing 24 hours.

                Next day on 06th July, I got a call from the service center and he said that the issue will be resolved by today. Also I received the scheduling SMS. But till evening no one came. I then called customer care and they assured that the issue will be taken on high priority and the technician cisit will be arranged soon, but again no one came for visit. On Sunday also there was no visit of technician after numerous calls to customer care.

                The customer care executives have no idea where are technicians, once they connected me to higher official (Puneet) and he connected me to the service center and service center guy assured that the issue will be resolved today. Again till evening 7:00 PM there was no visit. Then again I called customer care and when confronting on my problem the customer care executives repeatedly kept disconnecting my calls (I have my call recordings as proof). But I kept trying and then the customer care executive said that they have arranged a call back from their senior who will call within 4 hours, again this call back i never received.

                Now after all this, I have few questions for Voltas customer service:
                1. Is the company's relation with customer only for selling product and then keep them harassing in the name of FREE SERVICE?
                2. If the customer care executives can just escalate the issues and there is no output of that escalation then what is the use of such kind of customer service?
                3. If I can not use the products at the time when they are intended to be used then what is the use of buying such product?
                4. Since the product i have bought is having same issues time and again, isn't it the duty of the service center to fix the problem permanently or in case the product is defective then it should be replaced?
                5. This kind of product can lead to a hazardous situation, still the customer care executives took the issue lightly, can you explain this to me?

                I have also asked the customer care executive to write on my complaint, I want this product to be removed and returned to the company as it is of no use to me and also it is dangerous to my family.

                  I have purchased voltas ac 1.5t 185jy 5s from croma retail c. G road store on 16 may 2016. Invoice no. Slf02a[protected] including free stander installation and one year warranty
                  I was having a problem of water leakage and gas leakage for which i have made complain with voltas sr. No.[protected]and also with croma sr no. Bow090716fs00012

                  First voltas service center was not ready to accept that installation is done by voltas. And they were telling it is risk of life of person for dis mental it. Then they ask for charges for dis mentalinng (If i pay charges risk of life of technician will be gone) after reapitative complain to croma and voltas higher official they have dis mental it without charges

                  Now a guy from service center came to us and saying stand installed is incorrect, we have to put a new stand and asking for charges of 4000/-rs

                  Why should i pay again for stand if installation is not done correctly by voltas? I have already paid charges of stand at the time of installation to volats and it was just 750/-
                  If they have installed incorrectly what is my mistake? Why should i pay for the charges


                  I have made complain about a month ago, but no no repair is happening under warranty

                        Sir,
                        This is to draw your kind attention to the fact that i have purchased an air conditioner being model no. 183cy 1.5 ton ac 3 star, having unit serial no. 4551647a[protected] and [protected]k007154 on 02.04.2015, which was installed on 05.04.2015. to my utter surprise, the concerned a/c was started having problem of water leakage from indoor unit after one month and the matter was informed to your concern and on 25.05.2015 the concerned person from your service center tried to resolve the problem. it is worthwhie to mention in this connection that the air conditioner was not used in the winter season. after started using the same in the month of april, 2016, it started giving the same problem of water leakage from the indoor unit vehemently and i was constrained to inform the service center on 15.04.2016. the concerned personnel came on 16.04.2016 and again tried to resolve the problem by taking charge of rs. 400.00 but on 18.04.2016 the same problem again cropped up and the matter was attained by another personnel of your concern on 19.04.2016 who also tried to solve the problem. but to my utter astonishment the problem continued and i was forced to call the service center once again. the concerned person from the service center came on 21.04.2016 and took the indoor unit to your workshop and the same returned back from your workshop on 24.04.2016. on inquiring, the concerned personnel of your good office stated that the a/c is having a manufacturing defect of coil and they have tried to resolve the problem of massive water leakage from the indoor unit of the said air conditioner and went away by reinstalling the indoor unit. after elapsation of only 3 months, now i am again having the same problem and the air conditioner is discharging excessive water from the indoor unit and as such, it has became impossible for me to start the air conditioner, resulting in tremendous mental agony and physical discomfort to me during this humid atmosphere.

                          I purchased an voltas split a/c 2.00 tons from shree balaji traders, dwarka, new delhi -110075 on 22th may, 2016 and it take 6 days to install. on 28th may, 2016 engineers from voltas came to install a/c after many reminders. when they were fitting outer unit and i observed that body of outer unit was deffected and bended and condenser fins were damaged. he mention in installation report and i online lodged complaint request vide no. [protected] and after meny e-mails, tele calls, engineers visit no solution and call had been closed at their end and one more complaint request no [protected] was generated and that's fate was the same. voltas is multy national company and once you the paid the amount they donot have responsibility towards customer grievances. i am a senior citizen and feel sorry to purchase product of such irresponsible group.

                            Reference my earlier complaint dated 13.7.2016 regarding voltas split a. c. 1.5 ton [eu 183 cy] purchased on 21.6.2016 is not cooling effectively. after submitted the complaint the position is as under:-

                            1. mr manoj, service engineer visited the house and checked the a. c. properly and he has found that the gas is not enough and he filled the gas. but the working of acs cooling is not improving. i informed to mr manoj, service engineer about the same.

                            2. next day mr ravi, service engineer visited the house in my absence and reported that the acs cooling is ok. i again informed the service station to check it and give it proper result.

                            3. next day mr pawan, service engineer visited the house and checked it properly and resulted that the gas is not enough and also intimated that the gas is leaking. he cut the new fitted split a. c. iron pipe and put the tanka on the pipe and filled the gas. then he informed, now the a. c. is cooling efficiently.in the evening i again informed him that the cooling is not effectively.

                            4. next day mr pawan, service engineer again visited the house with another service engineer and check it about 2 hours and they intimated that some problem exist in the a. c. so our senior engineer mr aman now will visit your house and check it.

                            Till today no person has been visited to check the problem.

                            Sir, time and again many engineers have visited the house to solve the problem, but failed to do the same. i am facing very problem as a. c. is not cooling, you are requested to replace the voltas split a. c. 1.5 ton which was purchased on 21.6.2016 or repair it within two days, otherwise i will pull you to consumer forum for justice and you will have to bear all the expenses borne by me.


                            My earlier complaint is as under:

                            5. on 5.7.2016 service engineers visited the house and filled the gas in the a. c. and told that now the a. c. is o. k.

                            6. on the same day i. e. 5.7.2016, i intimated the customer service centre that the position is still stand. no progress of cooling has been noticed so check it and do the needful.

                            7. i again lodged a complaint on 6.7.2016, 7.7.2016, 8.7.2016, 9.7.2016, 10.7.2016, 11.7.2016 no one to attend the complaint.


                            Sir, today the name of voltas is selling in the indian market, but the service centre is not caring of the customers, how you accept the firm to service your product who will harm you and your product. you really see the future of the voltas product in near future. i request you to please take necessary action to the service centre as they are not treating their customer well. there is no worth in the cost they are costing as they have very pathetic service. i am logging to log a complaint against you and your service centre, i am going to pull you to consumer forum. i request your good self to exchange the split a. c. 1.5 ton or face legal action and you will have to pay all the expenses borne by me.

                            3. Next day Mr Pawan, Service Engineer visited the house and checked it properly and resulted that the Gas is not enough and also intimated that the gas is leaking. He cut the new fitted Split A.C. iron pipe and put the tanka on the pipe and filled the gas. Then he informed, now the A.C. is cooling efficiently. In the evening I again informed him that the cooling is not effectively.

                            4. Next day Mr Pawan, Service Engineer again visited the house with another service engineer and check it about 2 hours and they intimated that some problem exist in the A.C. so our Senior Engineer Mr Aman now will visit your house and check it.

                            Till today no person has been visited to check the problem.

                              I would like draw your kind attention regarding after sales support.

                              I bought voltas deep freezer (320lit) from capital electronics, baghmore on 3rd july 2016. during delivery mr dinesh (staff of capital electronics) told that representative from voltas would visit my place for the demonstration. however none visited my place for demonstration.

                              On 23rd july 2016 deep freezer stopped functioning i. e. within 20 days timeframe from the date of delivery. as usual my dad contacted capital electronics for the support and conveyed that as per their verbatim none visited for demonstration. immediately mr dinesh denied that he conveyed regarding demonstration and quarrelled with my dad. moreover he told that voltas discontinued the demonstration process since last one year.

                              One of the voltas representatives visited my place to address my concern regarding the present existing issue and he confirmed that voltas didn't discontinue demonstration process. i found clear contradiction between statements of mr dinesh and voltas representative.

                              I don't know what kind of image of voltas and capital electronics is getting projected in market.

                                Actually i have purchase an window voltas a. C. Of 1.5 ton 3 mnth back and the same day i found the broken flap and i complain on the same day but from that day to today no body come for the replacement i called many times to the service centre but every time they give same explanation that they do not have
                                Even i try to call mr gaurav by he didn't pick my calll this is the final time i am messaging u
                                After this if my complain is not rectify than i will take some legal action plz don't forced me to that

                                  I have purchased voltas ac form croma retail 2 months back.having warranty of one year.I was having problem of water leakage and gas leakage so i made compalian with voltas (sr no.[protected] and also with croma first technician visited after so many days against their promise of 24 working hours.and also after that he denied to repair, told us that is is not installation by voltas, first you have to dis mental it then only after we will repair.when i contacted croma, they said it is installation by voltas only and also provided me installation request number.Still volats customer care is not responding. and not reparing my ac and not giving me service under warrenty from last so many days, nobody is coming.whwnever i contact them they always told me to wait for 24 hours from last so many days

                                    We purchased a voltas ac from local shop at trivandrum... We were told that the ac will be installed in 48 hrs by the voltas co. Engineers... However till 1 week no one turned up... After my constant follow up... They sent their own technicians to install it... They did a make shift job... My ac is not working properly... Water is leaking from ac... Moreover no cold air is coming from the ac... We completely feel cheated by the shop as well as voltas... We will not recommend anyone to buy this product with zero service :- (

                                        I have purchase voltas split ac on 31st march 2016, but this is my bad experience. The outdoor was too much noisy. My first complaint was registered on 8th of april but no response from complaint centre till now i have complaint 4 times but the problem is as it is. Now the outdoor was not working well it's cut out after every 3 to 5 minutes so please change the product immediately or i have to take some legal step against it.

                                        I have purchase Voltas split Ac instead of window Ac but this is very bad experience about it. It was so noisy outdoor & cut out immediately.
