I had purchased an AC last year and on 23rd March i logged a request for a preventive maintenance ( request id [protected]). Technicians completed their job on the 26th. it has not been a week yet and the AC is not cooling again . moreover I logged a complaint for my AC part that was broken by the technician ( Id # [protected]) till date i have not heard from anyone on that .
It is very stressful to buy a branded product and then bear the harassment by the organisation. If the company is sensitive enough towards customers, i am hoping to receive a solution to my concerns ..

    We had bought the 1 ton AC from Pai bangalore.

    This is worst I ave seen . we had never used since Nov and just 2 weeks abck we started and what we realise is IT JUST DOEST NOT COOL! SO WHY DO I NEED AC??? Fan works better than AC. Even if you keep for 17 degrees for 15 min it hardly cools the room! and just one portion of room get cooled. SO is this
    is how the VOLTAS AC works !!!
    NEVER BUY VOLTAS. THEY CHEAT .

    I need my entire money refund. Its brand new and its does not work!!! SO PLEASE KEEP IT.

    Plus in nov the guy who came to install took 4 hrs to install. AGAIN THAT VOLTAS.

      Its the 5th day nw since i have been experiencing the worst customer care service for any product now. I have been trying to get my ac serviced since last Saturday, i have had 5 different booking appointments now..the agency who is supposed to come isn't responding to my calls since last 4days forget them calling me.. on top of that even after being promised that my AC service would be done today, i get this text message in return:

      Your request no [protected] has been cancelled.Reason Customer Reschedule please call at Helpline [protected] (24X7) for further assistance.

      I never got a call from the agency, tried calling them but nobody ever picks this no.- [protected] (vintage service)

      I dont understand why voltas is working with such an unprofessional agency who is just spoiling the brand name and loosing the customers trust in the company, i am happy with the product but if this is the level of service given by voltas i would never buy a product from it also you can count me in for the bad advertisement.
      Its going to be a complete year since purchase for my ac in April and this is supposed to be a free service..which voltas is trying to avoid.

        I had complained to a voltas technician who's phone number written on the bill to be contacted for any problems related to the AC. I had complained on Monday morning, to which he said he will come today or tomorrow. and it is wednesday now. everyday he keeps saying i will come in the afternoon but he doesnt come. Is this the kind of support you people are providing? Once we buy something, you dont give a **** anymore to the customer's complaints? When i said i am going to report this to higher authorities with your name, he said yeah sure do whatever you want. THIS is how they are supposed to treat customers?

          Dear team,
          I have purchased one ton spilit AC in March 2016 on new installation Voltas is providing 2 free maintenance check up of AC . For this I have logged the request for preventive maintenance .But the service quality is very poor I have shared my feedback with Voltas team on the same .After that again Voltas team visited but still service quality is not up to mark .Now my AC is not doing cooling after preventive maintenance .It is requested to Voltas team to attend the issue on priority with no financial implications .

            Sir in may 2016 I purchased 1ton inverter a/c from Infibeam.com. From the very first day I am facing noise problem in the indor unit. After several complaints this issue didn't resolve.Their untrained technical team visits but couldn't find any problem. In the night time noise become worse. Whole night I can not sleep due to the noise. It seems that some part inside the indor unit makes noise. Sometimes​ it feels that the Indor unit is going to break in to pieces and will fall on my head. After one month my a/c is going out of warranty. Please replace my a/c.

              Hi Sir/Madam

              Warm Greetings!
              I am the regular customer for purchase of Voltas air conditioner and i have informed so many others about performance as long as I could remember. I have a Voltas window air conditioner, which is working without any issues for the past 10 years. Now i have purchased a split air conditioner model no.183 PYT(R) for my home from SACS showroom, Madurai on 31.05.2016 and installation was also made within 2 days. The air conditioner was hardly used approx for 200 to 250 hours during the past 10 months. Now summer has started and we began using the air conditioner, but we found that there was nearly zero cooling effect. so i lodged a complaint to Voltas service center. The service personnel came and said that the Freon gas has been completely leaked out gradually all these days because of improper installation on the first cut and now they have taken the unit to the service center.

              Since it's been just 10 months from purchase of the ac and moreover since the usage was also very low, I likely demand for a COMPLETE REPLACEMENT of the entire unit. I believe you'll do the needful so that our relationship as a customer continues in the future too with Voltas.

              NOTE: We had a chat with the service center out here and they denied a replacement for the same.

                My 1.0T Inverter A/C was working good, which was bought before one year. It was serviced by Technician from Micro Cool Systems on 28.01.2017 just before end of warranty period. The service was not good and the technician just cleaned the filter with water and place it back in indoor unit. Technician did not dry the filter before placing it, when asked he said to me, its okay to place it wet. He also opined that A/C's cooling is good. But after few days, (the warranty period got over) the cooling got reduced drastically. Complaint was raised and the technician came on 3.3.2017 and checked the A/C. He checked the outdoor unit and said there is a failure in board of compressor. Compressor is getting off and on intermettantly. He said the board is out of warranty even though compressor unit have 5 years of warranty. I did not understand the logic. He said that board needs to be ordered.
                I enquired regarding the status again after one week. Breakdown request was again filed ([protected]), as first breakdown request was filed by dealer (Ideal). I'm getting the same reply from the Micro cool systems, whenever I enquire. "We have ordered the board, but haven't received". I'm sure that courier from Ernakulam to Thiruvananthapuram wont take more than 15 days. My last month current bill has increased due to faulty compressor.
                Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

                  I bought voltas A/c split 185 EY 1.5 tonne from Girias Madurai. From day 1 the cooling was not satisfactory. Three times call was lodged and service ppl attended it. The problem still persists. I feel cheated and the product is defective and sub standard. I want my money back or new product as a replacement for this. Rgds

                    This is with respect to my booking for a service of my A/c (3 no.s) on 15/3/17 with the booking no. - [protected]. I was told that the service person will contact me within 24 working hours. But that did not happen. So when I contacted your customer care about the status of my complaint on 17/3/17, they gave me the local agent no with Whom I contacted and told that I will not be available today and asked them to send the service person tomorrow that is on Saturday 18/3/17. In fact it was my good courtesy to have called your agency and told that the house will be locked. But in turn you people have cancelled my complaint booking which is not at all right on your Voltas company.

                    This is not what as customer I would want. Won't the customer have the right to ask the service person to come when the customer is available.

                    If this is what the service of Voltas going to be for it's customers, then they will start choosing the number of private agencies available and not choose the Company people. I really regret for having bought 4 Voltas a/C's for my house. In future will not recommend to anyone about the Voltas a/c which has a very poor customer service.

                          I have bought voltas vertis ac split on 2011 in visakhapatmam.
                          Due to bad installation of outdoor unit by voltas company crew members..copper coil over outdoor unit had completely damaged resulting no way to work
                          As a result I couldn't use my ac

                            SUB: NOTICE BEFORE FILING CONSUMER COMPLAINT

                            Dear Sir,
                            Product - Voltas Air Cooler VN- 050M.

                            Warranty- 1 Year Warranty till with Sl. No.4810016B16B014216 dated 02/04/2016.

                            Product Issue- Manual switches like swing, pumps were not working in the cooler. We were able to operate the cooler only in fast mode. Today on 10th the fan in the cooler collapsed.

                            Service Issue - No service update is given till 13th of March by the technician even after raising a service complaint and showing the issue to the technician on 7th March.

                            Problems faced- We purchased this cooler last summer from thirumala enterprises wanaparthy, telangana(state) and we r used only for two months. It is very hot in the summers and it is constantly giving problems and now the fan in the cooler is collapsed. It is both discomfort and distress due to non-working of the cooler. Also We are not able to reap the benefits of the cooler and the cooler has not served its value which is meant to serve for its price.

                            It is within Warranty/Guarantee period. A complaint is given on 7th March, 2016. Technician came on 7th and told us to use the cooler and said that he will make sure that it gets repaired. On 8th – 13th No service update was given.

                            Refund us with full amount as there is no use of replacing it. We have lost the trust in Voltas product and service. What is the use of purchasing a branded cooler if it doesn’t serve your purpose and constantly under repair? In the least case replace the product. Please settle our grievance within 15 days otherwise we are going to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum as we are protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.

                            All the cost and expenses of the consumer complaint will be borne by you. Damages & Compensation for Mental Anguish in delayed service and legal case will also be borne by you.
                            Please be aware of all the above mentioned things and handle this grievance carefully and immediately.

                              I had purchased one VOLTAS VERTICE split ac from New Fairdeal 1, Souren roy road kolkata 700034 in the year 2013.
                              The machine is out of warranty.The machine is working alright but the problem is with the wetness of the adjacent wall. the installation was also done by the technician sent by M/S New Fairdeal.
                              The wall adjacent to the ac shows wetness.i was sure that the water pipe has not been installed properly.
                              I had called your technician he had been saying that there is nothing wrong with the ac. water is seeping in from the bathroom close to it.
                              My plumber inspected it thoroughly and found nothing wrong with the bathroom pipes.
                              Recently I had called a technician on my own and he has told me that there is no water out let pipe fitted at all. obviously the wall is getting wet and paint is peeling off.
                              this is a sheer negligence on the part of installation of ac which happens to be through voltas.
                              now your company says I have to pay for inspection and all the other charges as because it is out of warranty. In the first place Iam not a spiderman who can hang on the wall of sevent floor to check if pipe is fitted ok . Secondly the seeping of the wall does not show up immediately
                              please tell me why should I pay for a negligent job done by your representative.

                                    We have been buying Voltas Air Conditioners in lot from Arcee Electronics, Panvel. We find that the Quality of the Airconditioners is very bad. The Fan in Outdoor Units are coming out after 1-2 Months of Running. We have experienced these issues in the Supply of 25 nos. of AC's in the Year 2013. We also find some issues in the supplies thereafter. We feel it is a manufacturing Fault & needs to be attended immediately.

                                      We have given an complaint regarding an inverter AC which has been used in our Hotel.Since we have bought the AC before a Year @ Ernakulam.
