I have installed split Ac 1.5 hot & cold before 1 month. But till today it z not working wen contacted to voltas service centre namely haripal came on visit & told u have to bring it down by 1 feet. And another person of service centre namely sajid tells u have to put curtain from all sides den it will work. So i wnt to no wot i have to do now. Shd i go to consumer court r shd i wait for u...

    Nandilath agencies – kuruppam road thrissur
    I would like to bring some very important fraud activity that is being performed by the supplier / seller of tata product (Voltas ac).
    I have purchased two 1.5 ton split units, model : 183cxi from nandilath agencies – kuruppam road thrissur in sep 2013, for my new house.
    I have purchased almost all equipments from nandilath g-mart thrissur, but when i insisted that i need copper coiled acs, the sales man of g-mart (I do not remember his name) has confirmed availability of copper coiled model from their sister concern nandilath agencies and directed me to there. There i met mr. Jerry (Sales man nandilath agencies) and he has introduced one model (183cxi) and confirmed that as copper coiled model and i purchased.
    During december 2016, i have requested for a service vide voltas customer care. I have requested the service rep. To check condenser coils and other parts. He has informed that my acs are of aluminum coils. I asked him to confirm, and he confirmed the same, where as i have ordered and purchased/paid for copper coiled model.
    Immediately i called mr. Jerry and asked about this and he stated that it is a mistake of voltas, they normally do like this and he had many complaints before also and i am another victim.
    I have contacted nandilath agencies manager and explained to him. He was asking me many senseless questions
    A. Why i am coming up after 3 years
    B. Why i did not opened and check the unit while delivered
    As per his opinion i must have opened the tata product and check the equipment as per the specification.
    Again the issue was directed to mr. Radhakrishnan (Cochin branch service manager, voltas) and we discussed about the comment provided by nandilath manager and he regretted for the same.
    Mr. Radhakrishnan has confirmed that voltas normally provide invoice to the sellers with model number and type (Copper / aluminum coil), whereas, the information is not there in the seller’s invoice.
    Sellers are doing this description change in the invoices to cheat the customers and increase the sales target. Ultimately i purchased and paid for copper coiled acs and i got delivered the aluminum coiled acs and now nobody takes the responsibility of this cheating.
    Further, i am in contact with mr. Sudhir (From nandilath agencies) to solve this issue; let me see how it works.

      I am a legal practitioner by profession and works at Burdwa court . i brought a split A C on 14.1.17 from Great Eastern, Burdwan, west bengal and at the time of purchasing the same I was assured of free installation. But at the time of actual installation, the person performed the work took a sum of Rs. 350/- for installation for outdoor part of the machine. one SMS has been sent to me that Rs.0 has been collected for installation though they took Rs. 350/- from me. on my query, the customer care of the Voltas Co. abused me with filthy languages.

        Dear Sir,
        we have bought Voltas inverter ac in 2014. recently AC stopped working showing an error of F1 on display screen .We have raised a complaint regarding the same on october 3rd 2016.with service req[protected].Till now the issue is not yet resolved.we are regularly following up and they say issue will be resolved by 2 days/with in few days every time we call them.Today also we called to concerned person and they stated that they donot have the spare part .. Its more than 3 months .Howlong will it take to diagnose the problem with your product and fix them.If the company doesnot have spare parts for service why they are selling product in market.We want this issue to be resolved immediately.Pls no more excuses as its almost beyond three months.Either replace product/repair/refund.

        Being in Chennai with small kids withoutAC we are struggling.

        Being a loyal customer to TATA products never expected such a bad customer service.We regret the decision going with Voltas. Even in city like Chennai proper service is not provided and I wonder why such kind of repair /service parts are not stocked in warehouses.

            Dear Voltas,
            I am going through a lot of frustration cause of my Voltas 1.5 183 sy air conditioner.
            I bought this product through cool works Margao on 7th nov 2016 .just after 1 month o[censored]se .the swing motor was found defective it was replaced. After that, the outdoor unit started making rattling noise .to rectify this, the margao agency sent 3 different technicians 3 times at last it got solved. After this the blower started making noise just after 4.5 months of installation that too was solved by replacing the blower. Then there came water leakage from inside unit. the technicians from Voltas which came from their Agency ( HOUSE OF AIR CONDITIONERS &REFRIGERATION CINE VISHANT ROAD MALBHAT MARGAO GOA PH.[protected]) came 2 times but could not detect the fault which was latter on detected by the technician sent by the dealer COOLWORKS MARGAO. We asked Voltas to Replace the entire product as it was giving frequent problems but they insisted that the product is okay. Now recently the displayed showed E5 and unit shut down completely and i raised a complaint trough the dealer request no [protected] on 23rd Dec. 2016 The agency quickly sent a technician on 24th Dec.16. As i was present at home i could see this technician came without any multi meter he said the fault is in PCB agreed to repair it and brought back on 26th Dec 16 after installing the PCB the same problem occurred again within 3 minutes .took back the PCB 2nd time told me they will replace the PCB with new one.As there was no response from voltas i raised another complaint on 4Th Jan.17 req. no [protected]. Till 8th Jan 17 nobody attended the complaint .Frustrated i called the Above named agency in-charge .He promised that problem will be solved by 9 th Jan17 as he will receive the new PCB which they ordered will land by 6Th JAN 17.As there was no sign of showing up of technicians i called The Agency again on 9th JAN 17. said he will send someone by 10th jan that also failed finally after lot of pleading and showing dissatisfaction .technicians came on 11th jan with the same old PCB repaired not new one( I Recognized it as my name was written on it previously when they took for repair). so from 23rd DEC 16 to 11 JAN 17 it took 19 days to get the PCB repaired .To my horror even after installing the PCB for 3rd time the E5 message came on display within minutes and the unit went off. I was really angry on the technicians as they didn’t know where the fault is.they also didn't have a multi-meter to check the things. Now they tell me its the blower motor problem and they will replace the same.
            Through this letter i intend to send a message to Voltas to employ well trained and experienced Technicians who have knowledge of the product and ample experience. Employing unskilled technicians will spoil their reputation, create loss in revenue and customer dissatisfaction. May be it was not the unit which was defective. May be it was negligence on part of the Technicians to consider all causes and jump to wrong conclusions.

            Voltas was quick enough to send some sensible technician on 12th Jan 17 who got to the root of the problem .It was like when your body does not get proper nutrition you become sick.The technician sent by Voltas this time came with a multi meter .He checked the voltage and current at the unit .He told me when there is carbon formation on the electrical lines, the unit gets improper voltage due to which compressor gets overloaded and shuts off showing E5 on display. i cleaned all the electrical lines . still the E5 is coming the tecnician was informed about this he had promised to solve the problem by checking the capacitor of outdoor unit.
            there is a lesson to learn here to reach to this conclusion Voltas previous technicians took almost 20 days .If they had brought the multi meter for first check up, lot of time and inconvenience caused to us would have been saved
            the problem still is there but i am convinced that someone competent was sent

              My name is Yogendra Nayak, I purchased A/C from snapdeal and delivered on 17 Oct 2016.

              A/C is still under warranty, AC cooling stopped for second time.

              GAS was filledup again couple of days back. As its winter I do not use it often but on last Saturday we tried to check, it did not cool.

              Now, we are really feeling annoyed and disgusted because Installation Engineer is not giving proper support. We had an appointment to visit engineer on Monday, but he did not show up (my wife personally took leave for this).

              Now, the problem is, today we are sill waiting for engineer to arrive, Engineer's response was "dekhte hain, mera kaam chal raha hai abhi, bahut kaam hai" ..what kind of response is this? we had appointment at 11am..!

              and the second problem is...suppose he comes today and fill the gas again... who is going to take the grantee if it will not be leaked again !! .. I think the product itself is defected one.. I request you to get it changed ! I am really fade off doing all this for 3 months since I bought this AC.

              I have purchased the voltas Windows inverter ac last year in April and second time gas leakage issue came. It is also a week issue reported and appointment was scheduled for April 22nd but till now nothing happen. I have done several followups on emails and asm numbers provided on email. Please help and share the email.id for greiviance voltascare email id is of no use. If possible help in expediting the issue.

                Web won't charge any more

                  I have purchased Voltas 1 ton on 2014 March. From last 2 weeks onwards it was not working and I logged a complaint with Voltas customer care on 28th Nov 2016. Request no. [protected]. On 29th Nov 2016 a person came and inspected the device and told that motor is not working. He confirmed that it will take 2 days to fix, and also told that he may clear within a day. I waited till 4th Dec 2016, no one called / informed us about the delay. Then I dropped a mail on 5th Dec 2016 asking them about the status. Then they responded over mail that they will clear the same. Today I again checked the status because no one contacted me so far. Then they are asking me to contact Mr. Radhakrishnan - [protected] who is very busy person and wants me to call back after sometime and there is no specific time which is mentioned and he dint have any courtesy to call back.

                  I am tired of following up the same with the company which they are neglecting the service by simply passing the buck here and ther, instead of co-ordinating with concerned person and shares a proper feedback,

                  I request your intervention in getting this problem resolved. Me and my family is staying in a concrete house. It is very difficult to survive in high humidity climate. If they don't want to service, atleast they can inform that so that I can purchase another AC, but I need a refund from the company for providing such a pathetic product and pathetic service.

                    I purchased Voltas AC 1.5 year back. 1 month back it was showing error code E5 when i booked compliant in authorized services center. Engineer came and have look at AC and gave suggestion there is problem in indoor or outdoor circuit board which needs to be replaced can't be repaired. why for one code entire circuit board needs to be repaired. they also gave estimate (29000 (indoor +Outdoor) we will bring new circuit board (both indoor and outdoor) and check which is one is faulty based on that only you will be charged. when inverter ac is being sold at around 42000 . this cost itself coming around 69% of ac cost. can i get good solution for this one ?

                        We bought the above a/c in 2012 from your authorized dealer at angamally, ernakulam dist., kerala. the service is being doe by newtech cool solutions

                        The a/c's remote started not working and we called the above service company and they repaired it in november 2014 and again in january 2015 and subsequently the remote was replaced by them. we paid for it.

                        In may 2016, the a/c did not work and got it repaired. again in september 2016, it was not working and the technician said its sensor not working and they took the board for repair and brought it back and charged for it. a few days it worked and again it is not working. according to the technician, the sensor again not working. i paid a good amount of money just for repairing the a/c.

                        I went for voltas because of its brand name but now i repent for it. i already paid a good amount of money just for repairs but the problem never ends.

                        I request you please find a solution for it. the complaint is repeating and i want the serving agent not to charge anything for the same complaint.

                          This is in reference to my complaints dated 23/03/2016 and 11/06/16.

                          Had a problem suddenly with cooling and raised a service request. first visit they mentioned to refill gas and charged rs.2500. again the same problem in 2.5 months time and raised another request. they mentioned to replace the condenser and refilled the gas again. charge was rs.6500. (refilling the gas twice in 3 months period - need a proper justification)

                          Again now having the same cooling problem. raised a complaint [protected], dated 01-nov-2016. when asked to escalate this concern mentioning that this is a repeated complaint, voltas customer care team (khalija) and voltas service team in tirunelveli (thangavelu) is very much concerned about collecting the visiting charges rs.400 for this current visit.

                          Totally frustrated with the way this is being handled. as a customer my concern here is, for an a/c we have spent rs. 9000 in 6 months time and still the problem is not resolved.in addition to that, irresponsible reply from voltas team is bad.
                          It is definitely clear that this issue is because of wrong product installation (condenser) last time or the technician is not qualified to identify the root cause of the problem.

                          Update: Service technician came and mentioned that outlet cover for wire was broken by the previous service provider (Evercool) and so short circuit happened and affected the capacitor. Attached picture for reference.

                          Question 1: When the sevice provider is not qualified enough why should the customer be affected. What is the assurity that Rs.9000 was utilized in he right way. Did that evercool provider really change the compressor and refilled gas. Need explanation on why gas refilling happened twice in 2 months. Attached invoice for reference.

                          Question 2: For the affected capacitor, why would we need to pay the amount. Why should we pay the visiting charges again ?

                          Need a proper justification immediately. Failing which legal case will be filed against voltas.

                            I purchased this product under 1+4 years warranty under Code No [protected].This product is under extended warranty of 4 years for replacement of parts.
                            I have taken 3 years Comprehensive warranty for 3 years after expiry of first year @ Rs 2061.00 inclusive of service tax per year,
                            I have been told that the AMC charges for both the type of AC units are same i.e., one with only 1 year warranty & the other with +4 year warranty although services being provided differs as under
                            1.With one year plain warranty- Gas filling, transportation including free replacement of parts.
                            2. With+4 year Warranty - only gas filling & transportation where as replacement of parts is already covered.
                            It is thus not logical to charge the same amount for AMC in both categories, requires your examination & rectification .
                            Hope you will consider it from consumers point of view & satisfy me in this regards

                              I have purchased the a/c from mahavir electronics, jamnagar, gujarat on 10th june, 2016

                              Since then 7-8 times technician have visited my home to solve the gas issue. Unit is not properly working, cooling issue still prevails. No one is properly answering my reply. I am going legally now.

                              Mr. Gupta the area head is giving any reply, the vendor always says he is not having any authority. What the hell is this???

                              I have purchased the ac specially for my infant kid. But you guys are doing very serious business. Once the product is sold there is no scope the customers then.

                              Seriously very frustrating. Have to call everyday asking the same procedure, receiving the same reply. No solution yet.

                                Dear sir,
                                I registered my complaint 2 times on customer care regarding my faulty installation, but whenever engineer came to attend the issue, he left unresolved on saying, this is installation issue, other team will come, but no one came in return.
                                On my last complaint id [protected], same thing happened. I called area head of service on call, but he regretted to correct his installation.
                                Piping from my internal ac unit to outer ac unit taken through window, which is longer route and all time need to keep it open, instead, that pipe could be routed from back side of internal ac unit, but he has taken from window which was longer path for what we paid approx. 4200 extra for piping. It is looking so cheap and for same reason, we are unable to fix our mirror, but service advisor denied to correct his issue because installation done in may 2016. I also informed him that, when installation person came, my parents were at home, and they were not knowing about all such things being senior citizens, but atleast he could see himself while installing unit as lot of space was available at back.
                                I also told him, why he is charging as i am not asking to change the location of my ac, i am not installing my unit from one place to other for what he is asking reinstallation charges, i am just asking to correct your own installation for what you charged approx. 4800 from me. Instead to charge, he have to refund the amount of extra piping which was not required that much if he could do better routing which was actually required.
                                Request you to please correct my issue on urgent basis as my mirror is not fixed and insects come inside home daily.

                                    M/c serial no:4511171/p/0f009398; doi:8.04.2011;complaint made for low cooling, service people attended, changed compressor, gas charge cooling done after service compressor fan got broken, repair done again fan got broken for third time, again service done, but the main issue of low cooling does not get solved, we had provided double booster stabilizer provided by the company, hence we are unable to use ur product, the very purpose of buying an ac for chennai was known to everyone, all the problems started since the first complaint made, we have unnecessarily paid amount to the service people, they are not giving any responsible answer despite our allout effort.Due to their irresponsible attitude e are suffering a lot by choosing your company product as a standard brand, but after raising complaint and the response from the service people left a bad opinion on your product, ours is a two storeyed building, for elyfurther puchase of ac for our building we are having second thought becoz of the bitter experience had with your service personnel, complaint raised during warranty period only, we have spent rs.15, 000 to 20000, but so far we are suffering, we loss our peace bcoz o[censored]r non responsibility o[censored]r service personnel, we are also business person, so service is most important, kindly do the needful immediately.

                                      I purchased a 1.5 ton of split ac of voltas co. From amazon. After one week not getting cooling in our room. Complaint has been lodged since 4 days but no body is responding. Install guys told me we have not installed so we will not give you one yr guarantee. It's voltas co. Responsibility to give us one yr watantee or a person who install my ac is responsible. If your install person charge me rs. 2500 where market rate is 1500 why anybody will give rs 2500 for same work. Regularly i m talking to your customer care staff and local install guys they are very adamant not to give me proper solution. I hv all communication recorded it will be flash if i am not getting proper solution for this. Today your customer care ladies told me to check your ac the person will visit today evening but now when i called some other person name didar told me today is our holiday so nobody will come. There is no proper communication i am getting.

                                        I had bought voltas window air-condition in year 2014...
                                        Feb 2016 i had logged a complaint that the ac is not working, it was told to me that there is a gas leakage and the ac was taken to voltas service centre and got back after 3 days.
                                        Now again the same problem is come and the compressor is gone.
                                        My question is how a compressor have gone within 2 years...

                                        Complaint filed 20 days before not solved till now. Senior department also not working properly.product is under AMC . Executives came and found gas leakage and said that problem will be resolved tomorrow.but no action taken against this .I am calling 3 to 4 times a day but not getting any satisfactory answers. Pls do something to this.
