In reference to the above complaint number, i want to bring to your notice that i purchase voltas 1.5 ton split ac on 27/4/13 and since the day i have purchased it, there is one or the other issue which i am facing with the ac.

First, i made a complaint that ac is not giving desired cooling even after running for hours. The company engineer visited and gave us the stupid reason that the house is not air-tight (Windows are there in house) which leads to the less cooling effect.

Thereafter again complaint was made and engineer declared that the gas in the ac is exhausted and a sum of rs. 2000 was paid on account of gas re-filling. Even after this, the desired cooling was not attained from the ac.

Again a complaint was made and this time the engineer told that the company fitted condenser is made of aluminium and its not successful. Hence, it needs to be changed to a copper condenser. The condenser was changed on 4/8/15 and aa sum of rs 3300 was paid by me.

Thereafter all of a sudden in may 16, the outer unit started making lot of noise. Again a complaint was made and this time, the engineers who visited told us that the condenser which was replaced was not fit for this model and also that there is a problem with the compressor.

Ultimately, the outer unit was carried to the workshop on 31.05.16 and reinstalled on 3.6.16. It was stated that the compressor was changed. But as soon as the ac was switched on, the same noise started coming again. This time, the technician tightened the outer unit with the bracket and the noise vanished. Since the noise vanished just after tightening a few screws, it leads me to a suspicion if my previous compressor was actually faulty and more so if the compressor was actually changed as it was being claimed by the technician.

When asked about the unique part number / code for the compressor (That in my opinion should be present and should be unique for every smallest part), the technician failed to provide me the same and also didn't mention in the service report.

Instead he demanded rs. 2350 on account of gas refilling which are not justified as the compressor is in 5 years warranty and any repair in the compressor will lead to the gas re-filling. Hence this should also be a part of the warranty.

Also, i am really feeling that i will end up paying equal or more the amount of the ac if this scenario continues. I am repenting the decision to purchase voltas product and vow never to even consider buying any voltas product in future.

You are requested to look into the matter else i will be forced to take the matter to the consumer court.

    Hello,

    This is Bhoomika,  I have purchased a Voltas AC from snapdeal on 27 March 2016. is AC is not working right from the day when it was installed. I have complained many times, They send the engineers every time who come and inspect and fix it somehow, but after two three days. Its starts giving the trouble making . Its just been only 3 months. This is AC is driving me crazy.  This machine has been fixed more than 5 times in the last 3 months. It also indicates the Built quality of the product. Its faulty product.

    i am so fed up with the product, and i just i want the replacement. I am not gonna use this piece of anymore. I am highly disappointed with Voltas. This is really disgusting. i have spent 25000Rs but all i have got in return is just the problem.

      I just bought an ac on 29th may2016 from initiative aashiana lucknow.
      Ac is completely damaged. We tried getting in touch with the store for the replacement of my ac and they asked me to visit the service centre of voltas based in aashiana (Power house)
      (Vs air conditioning). The ssrvice centre supervisor named vinay singh did not even listrn to my complaint and insisting me to fix the damaged product but was not ready to replace it. I went to the dealer again and revisited to setvice centre 3 times i last 24_48 hours...
      Apart from the bad conduct and misbehaviour of the service centre supervisor i got nothing..
      Nobody is rrady to entertain me now. Its not been even 7 days and i am fed up with nonsence going on from the voltas company.
      This guy vinay singh from vs air condioning created moe complication.
      I have been making the complaints just from the 2nd day i bouht thr ac about the cooling issue and noise made by ac. This stubborn character started shouting at me and misbehaved with me and showed no support towards any resolutions.


      I am still waitng for the resolution. Nobody seems to be a help for me z. Neither the initiative store manager and definitely not the service centre. I am stuck with this issue wit my brand new ac. If i dont see any responce defenatly soon i will go to the higher authorities and put this cncern with them.

        I bought split ac 1.5 ton before three week back. My hall size where ac fitted is 15-16.

        Where in since purchase to till date cooling is not done. I have registered complaint 4 times but every time your technician said that your hall size is too big. Hence, problem would not be resolved. And every time insisting that don't registered complaint and given me his personal contact no. And insisting to call his personal no. And also saying that we are not responsible for 3 months from the date of purchase. Supplier from where you have purchased is resonsible for 3 months from the date of purchased. I should not buy such type of reason.

        Though 4 times complaint registered so many many times called on your technician problem remain same i filling like i am cheated.

        Kindly do the needful on urgent basis or i have to go consumer court.

          Hi,

          Wtf! Whats wrong with voltas? I have called several times and every time they will say "engineer will come and fix the issue" but unfortunately that dint happen till now.

          We have bought the new voltas 122cy 1 ton 2 star split ac, it worked fine for first 1 week, later its not working. We are hardly getting air from it. We are located in koramangala 1st block. Called to voltas customer care and reported this issue several times. But voltas have not responded till now. The customer service is worst ever seen.

          Now we having first hand experience of the one of
          Worst possible split acs in indian market the compressor of voltas ac is
          Pathetic. The room is not cooling. I complained to customer
          Care a number of times. Every time i call, they renew the complain and say that “technician will visit in 24 hrs”. But even after 5-6 days, there is no
          Response from their side. Its really frustrating that even after spending 24000/- on their product, they have such pathetic service to offer.

          Very, very poor and third class service by voltas.

          One thing is for sure, i am never buying voltas again in my life. And also that never let any dealer persuade you to buy any product.

          And i want my money back or replace the product.

            V v v v bed experience with Voltas 1 ton ac.
            I have purchased two AC ( 1 & 1.5 ton) before 2month but after 10 days of fitting 1 ton ac's motor got damaged(as per voltas repair service person in his FIRST VISIT. after so many followup he changed motor( SOCOND VISIT) . again after two days of second visit ac started tripping my whole house electricity. Again we called service center, person came( THIRD VISIT) and told it is not our prob u call ur electrician. We called electrician, he chked and told prob is not in connection. Problem found in ac unit(earthing wire was not connected properly). Again we called voltas . he came(
            FOURTH VISIT)... And now he is saying unit needs to change. Mean Again so many visit and loss of our weekend.

            In every visit he has taken 2-3 hrs to find reason .
            Why voltas new unit have prob and why thr customer care IS NOT ABLE to find out prob thats why we r facing problems. Its so irritating and frustrating...
            Voltas team plz improve ur quality of product and services. Don't make people fool.. Vvvvvvv disappointed with u :(.

            I will not recommend voltas to anyone as my experience is not good.plz plz don't go for voltas ac.

              Dear sir/madam,

              I have purchased a voltas 1ton split ac (Vertis classic) on[protected] and installed accordingly.

              The ac machine has been serviced once or twice (As required) annually through your service centre on regular basis.

              However, in the year 2015, i have noticed that the upper swing flapper of the indoor unit is not working and i have booked your service by reporting the same. Accordingly your technician has attended the call on[protected] and after inspection it was found that the upper swing flapper of the indoor unit is broken and the same was said to be reported to you by your technician. However, no action has been taken at your end. So i have requested your service once again for the same and this time also your technician has attended and wrote a service report and gave me a copy of the same on[protected] and charged inspection fees and left saying that the same is to be reported to the company and whenever the same will be available, it will be intimated accordingly.

              However, after some days i. E. On[protected] a message was sent as below:

              "request no [protected] is resolved, fee collected rs. Call [protected] for assistance or sms 1 if happy else 2 to [protected]. Sms charge apply" on[protected].

              Thereafter, 9 months have been passed, till nothing is intimated regarding the issue from your end.

              So it is not true that 'the matter is resolved'.

              It is pertaining to say that due to non operation of the flapper, cooling doesn't effect the whole room but the upper side (Roof) of the room and so the ceiling fan is to be used for every occasion to rotate the cool air throughout the room, whenever ac machine is on.

              Meanwhile your service is booked for non-operation of the machine & your technician has attended this time also on[protected] & replaced the capacitor but regarding the replacement o[censored]pper swing flapper they uttered the same words as earlier.

              I, therefore, request you to look into the matter and arrange to replace the defective upper swing flapper with a fresh one at the earliest.

                Sir,

                I purchased my voltas silver (1.5 ton) split ac on 22 april 2012.
                As my ac was not cooling i called up voltas service center and they sent an engineer who told me that its a gas leakage problem from the ac "condenser" which needs to be replaced.

                It was difficult for me to digest how can such a major part of ac can fail that too within just 4 years of purchase.
                As the engineer insisted on replacement only, so i trusted him and got it replaced for which he charged me rs8000.

                But now after 15 days itself its gas started leaking from the replaced part (Condenser) itself and your engineer says that it does not comes under warranty only gas charging can be claimed for warranty.
                I doubt the replacement was being done unnecessarily or may be intentionally to make money
                .
                Such an unprofessional attitude and customer misguiding service was not accepted by a well renown company like you.
                I therefore request you to kindly look into matter and get problem fixed as soon as possible.

                  I have registered a complain 10 days back . technician came and told that blower motor is not working & will be replaced, next day he came with new motor but the results same ac did not work. Now he he said PCB is faulty & said it will be repaired Since last 5 days i following him and your third party Diamond Technology, initially they were saying PCB gone to Delhi for repairing now they are saying it can not be repaired.

                    We registered our complain on 19th may, however, i can see that even after paying an amount of 3600 my ac is not working. The customer care on top of it is real irresponsible, they are just sorry for everything. I asked the customer care executive to send me the feedback survey form which he never sent.

                    As a customer i dont think u even value a customer after making a sale.

                    It would be great if you rectify our ac or just take back the unit and give us back the money you owe in form of any service we have availed.

                      I wouldike to tell that i have made a complaint regarding my voltas desert cooler VN-D70E in Rs 12800 deted[protected].
                      After two day of purchase i got some problem in swing option and i complained on customer care no [protected] and a complaint no is [protected].
                      A technician came and put that swing part out from cooler which is defected and told to come after two days but after that. I have compliant again and again on phone but they didn't take me seriously .
                      Now i would no option other than to complaint on consumer court.

                        I m one of the dissatisfied customer of Voltas, and make sure none of my known people go for Voltas.

                        This is to bring to your kind notice that on 30-Apr-2015, I requested for a.c. servicing, and on 2-May-2015, your engineer came to service, he was so incompetent to do the job despite being told by me. He wanted to do the servicing superficially and leave, when I insisted what is he doing, I have other acs also, of Ogeneral and LG in the same premises and user of acs from the last 30 years. Than some how he did it, but not up to the mark, left with all place dirty with filth all over, sat on the bed and kept his foot on the bed and tieing his shoe laces sitting on the bed. I told him what is he doing ? Are from voltas ? He said give me my fees I will leave, I paid him Rs. 500/- and he left.

                        Afterward I complained the same to your customer care, sent email also but no body responded. I had to go out for a year and now when I published it on social media, than your customer care or marketing or do not know contacted me twice, one Mr. Ranjan, Mr Sameer, etc.

                        I have been told by Mr Ranjan that 3rd party who were giving services had been changed.

                        Today, Mr. Sumit called and said that the same agency Geet Aircon, who are giving services to our area, is still there and are there for many years.

                        I have given the details to your good self in detailed, and I want action from your end, stern action falling which I will make sure that people in my contacts, RWAs in Lajpat Nagar and others shouldn't go for Voltas at all.

                        About 10 days back Mr. Chakravorty from voltas called and said it qill not happen in future, and sent the engineer for servicing, but on my utter shock, he also did the same thing, he was first of all came without appointment, and when allowed to do rhe work, he dis the service in 5 minutes, without opening the top cover.

                        It means they are being trained like that only. It is better you call the local person for service of youe ac but do not call voltas for servicing

                          I have purchased 2 1.5ton ac voltas.
                          Jus for regular service (Of which reference msg given below) i had called for servicing, inspite of no problem in both ac.
                          Dear customer, request no [protected] appointment scheduled for[protected]. For assistance call our helpline [protected] (24x7).
                          Above msg... For reference.
                          Person attended, but problem created instead of solving. Complaint again & called ur person on 29th, but nobody bothered to attend.
                          Voltas has very bad service. Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy voltas. A shameful n disgusting staff. Paid rs 1000, to do servicing, but instead he did such a bad job, that my ac which was working properly, is not working after the service.
                          Hope someone calls back to solve the problem.
                          Pls see to it that the person attends asap. (Except that i am out of town from 1st june 3pm to 2nd june 6pm.). Can attend any other time.

                            I purchased a split ac of 1.5 tonne on 29th april 2016 and it stopped working on 25th may 2016. I made a complain on 26th may 2016 and the technician came on same day in the evening and checked that the pcb is not working. He said it will take 2 or 3 days for him to come with a new pcb. Today is 31st of may and nobody came until now to fix my ac. I called at the sevice center many times and they said it will be fixed on monday and still there is no response, my business is getting effected with no a. C and as i observed yet voltas service is very bad. I have trust in voltas anymore not even i m sure when will it be fixed.

                              Hello sir,

                              This is regarding my complaint dated 20/22.04.2016 which is still unresolved till date.Inspite of my various calls and your engineers visits too, it has still not been resolved.

                              In the months of february-march, 2016, your scheme to get service @ 50% off, i too get my ac serviced. At that time too, ac was working ok but as your engineers suggested for gas filling and i refused as it not looking like that any gas filling required that too just in 3 years' purchase of ac. However, when i started ac in april, to my surprise it was not cooling. However, i lodged a complaint for it and the ac was taken out from my home on 20.04.2016 for gas filling. But when it was reinstalled at my home on 22.04.2016, it was making too much noise since that date. I called many times but the problem not resolved. However, since last week, it stopped cooling also. Your engineer came and told again gas leakage.

                              I am so surprised and sorry to see the performance of voltas ac is such bad that it can not work even after purchase of 3 years'. I already paid almost 3000 and now again i can not spent any more as the problem happened in your taking and reinstalling ac. Your service men not able to resolve and even make it more worse as before taking to fill ac gas, there was no leakage etc. Even on their recommendation i paid extra for aluminium quoting.

                              In view of above facts and circumstances, i humbly request to get my ac rectified at the earliest and do not unnecessary charge and panic. Else, it is better your keep your ac with you.

                                I brought one AC of voltas from razzle dazzle electronic voltas win a 1 t 123ly(3s) on 25/02/2016 . My AC is not working from very first day, no response from razzle dazzle electronic shop, I called voltas customer service they said no gas in ac need to change ac gas,
                                This is my second voltas ac similar complaint I faced in my Last ac, they refilled the gas, and still I am getting problem repeatedly, now I again went to shop they said why you have purchased voltas ac this is worst company .
                                Now I want to change my ac as it is not working from day of purchase. Voltas ac company is worst ac company

                                  I have purchased two votas AC . One AC is working good but the other one is having some problem from the first day of installation. I complained to the company but they are making fool of me and they were unable to find fault. My AC is still in warrenty period but now also i am not satisfied with my one AC as air flow is less and no proper cooling. I want to change my AC unit.

                                    I bought an air cooler from Voltas. It gets very hot in Chennai. The air cooler has stopped working within a months time of its purchase. I registered a complaint to get it fixed. The customer care turned a deaf ear and even after repeated calling, I have not heard from their technician or senior support. I need full refund as my faith in brand is lost. Also considering the poor service received I am worried if it happens again I will suffer more. Please don't trust the brand Voltas and make the same mistake I did.

                                      Air Cooler water pump is not working, I have raised the req no [protected] on 18/05/2016 by calling to voltas customer care. But no one came from the company and repaired. I am continuesly calling local service centre, sometimes the technician team is not even picking the call, if they pick the call telling non sense stories like no parts, no technicians etc. But its 10days over, not willing to listen any stories. I will def encourage others to buy this product.
                                      Its very frustrating, having very bad experience with hyderabad service centre. Chasing them for past 10days, i am not sure how many i called them. I would request some one looking into this issue and resolve.

                                        I have two AC s from voltas coz I heard tht Voltas servicing is good but after this experience I wnt recommend any1to get Voltas products.i hve complained on voltas c.care on 24.5.16 and till today no 1 has come from voltas to resolve my complaint though u promise 4within 24hrs service.in this summer don't u feel AC complaint s should be resolved fast.
