We purchased the split AC 1.5 T from Croma at Ahmedabad on dtd: 06.01.2014. From company, Split AC installed in next week. Now in summer season, first time we do the Split AC on dtd: 18.03.2014. But there is no cooling done. So we give the complain to your toll free number. But from call center they do not register. Now we again the complain and call center give the complain no: [protected] dtd.18.03.2014. But till on 22.03.2014, there is not attend the complain. We again call to call center, they give the local number, but they refuse to work because the area is not under them. The first local party give another local party. But the mobile no & land line is not wor, On dtd: 24.03.2014, we again call to call center and the same procedure again repeat. Now this time they give another local party name. There is Mr. Vipulbhai. Mr. Vipulbhai send technician on 7.00 PM. The technician told there is gas leakage and Voltas company technician come. On next day i.e. 25.03.2014, one another technician come and fill presseried air in AC. They toldthat after 24 hours they will again come for leakage of Air. On next day i.e. 26.03.2014, they came & checked that the air leakge at fans side so they will report to company. Now till date, there is no body come to attend / change the AC. We purchased Split AC from Croma on dtd: 06.01.2014. Thereis problem with wife that she is a ASTHMA paisent. So we require to attend the Split AC on urgent basis. Name: Rajubhai G Panchal.     Dear Sir,

    I am Nidhi Salian and I had purchased a VOLTAS A/C from Vijay Sales, Khar, on the 26th of January 2014.

    After which the a Voltas technician named Juned visited the house for a pre-installation visit on the 4th of February 2014. Subsequently the A/C was installed. A period of 7 days passed and the technicians told us that we could conceal the false ceiling with P.O.P. Because the A/C had been properly installed.

    Once the P.O.P. Work concluded, they was a stream of water gushing down from our ceiling. This caused much distress and we had a FOUR of technicians coming to our house on four different occasions who have failed to fix my problem.

    I believe that there has been a change the contractor for Voltas and yesterday a technician called Arif came to my house and he informed us that the pipe of the A/C has been put in a zig-zag manner. Priya, another employee with your agency KWIK AC Works, told us that it could be a mistake on our contractor who did the P.O.P work's part. When inquired with Arif, he told us that the pipe being put zig-zag is the real cause of the leakage.

    Since there has been no fault of ours in the way the A/C has been installed, I fail to see why we must pay to get the P.O.P. job done again. We are aggrieved consumers and this entire state of affairs has caused me and my family a major inconvenience and distress.

    Also, yesterday, while I was in conversation with your customer service executive, Priya who was sincerely trying to sort out my problem, she transferred my call to MR. JAY KUMAR HADVALE, who instead of trying to sort out my problem was rude and brash. He refused to understand my concerns and was downright INSOLENT. While we were in conversation he hung up on me.
    This behaviour is outrageous. I am deeply hurt by Mr. Jay Kumar's attitude. I am a customer who was engaging in a very polite conversation and I deserve some respect. No matter who he is and the position he holds, it is his duty to help sort out a consumers problems not WORSEN it.

    I kindly request you to look into the matter and the earliest and grant me some relief. And I also think an apology from Mr. Jay Kumar is due.
    Please keep me updated on how we will sort this entire matter out.

        Consumer Compliants forum Sub: Manufacturing defect as HOLE FOUND in Condensor coil- by serviceman –Voltas Split-AC-5S Ref.: Earlier complaint for No proper cooling/ Hiding the facts by serviceman –Voltas Split-AC-5S[protected] Purchased from Sargam Electronics, Sector-17, Rohini, Delhi-85( ON[protected] Sir, First of all I thank your team for taking up the matter with the Voltas Company. In response of the same, the official of Voltas, Corporate office has contacted me for deputing the service man to check the actual fault. On dated[protected], the two persons from voltas were deputed & spent more than 3 hours to find out the fault in AC & ultimately found a hole in Condensar Coil( A manufacturing defect) due to this it was not giving effective cooling from first day of purchase. I had informed earlier about not proper cooling at the time of first free service to the service man( Sh.Jaikishan) but due to free service his intentions are not going upto the customer satisfaction level. Even at the time of second visit in sept. 2013 when I again complained about cooling then the service men told me about gas leakage without checking the actual fault with an Financial Estimate of Rs.2200/ . Very surprised that without finding the actual fault, the official, Sh Vikas from GINNI AIRCON, Delhi ( Auth.Service Centre) had contacted me to depute the person to refill the gas with a reduced charges of Rs.1800/. If I had been agreed for that proposal then it will comes with no results as there was a HOLE in the Condensar Coil & again the gas is to be refilled with financial loss to me which shows negligence of the official of service centre without caring about the hard core of money invested by the customers. This is a harassment with the customers. On giving the compliant by me to the consumer forum, they arrived the exact position of manufacturing defect which cost to Rs.6800/- which was facing by the customer from inception of the purchase. This is a harassment with the customers who invested their hard core of money & expect from our Indian companies to give at least worth to the money. Prevailing practice of service providing by reputed VOLTAS company can not be accepted in a long run & diminishes the Goodwill of the company To maintain the faith of the customers, please take up the issue with the company for early replacement of the defective product.Your early response is awaited.             Dear Sir/Madam I bought VOLTAS A.C of 1.5 ton from the dealer The Cool Chennai by the end of January 2013 and immediately after one week it was of very less cooling and thereby followed water falling through I.D and huge noise and blasting sounds while switching off. But as i was not sure about what the actual problem and also busy with my work since the product was new and under warranty left it as it is.But as i shifted to a new house by the end of last month i asked a re installation from the dealer but he was hesitant and somehow he sent after long chasing an out sourcing technician.To my surprise he only told me that the A.C is having Gas leaking not in condition to use afterwards.Since i bought the A.C i never received any service either from the dealer or from the voltas company.I took the product by finance and now i have a kid she is sleeping in the heat for more than three weeks as the dealer is not at all taking interest to attend me as he want both unit to be taken to his shop which i refused and asked for a replacement since the product is under warranty and no service at all provided after buying it to till date The dealer is not having any efficient technicians and he is depending on out sourcing persons i cannot believe him and he is saying there is no replacing option.I paid full money and i want really immediate replacement.Moreover i phoned several times to the Customer Care and asked a direct technician from company but nobody attended.Since it is poor service and poor quality product you sold to me i need a replacement immediately unless i will go for solution legally to your knowledge.               As voltas mentions that your reltionship with the customer does not end after the purchase of the equipment but i have realized that it is exactly the opposite.
              PLEASE REFER MY COMPLAINT NO 349370...i would like to update that that nothing substantial has been don so far..The most annoying fact is that even your customer service executives are unaware of the status of my complaint as according to them it is resolved..The technicians have visited us 4 times and have ascertained that the AC is defective and because of this the water continously leaks inside the room..in my previous complaint i had notified this to you...THIS DEFECT HAS BEEN THERE FROM THE TIME OF THE PURCHASE..it hardly been three months since i have purchased this substandard equipment from VOLTAS after spending my hard earned money..
              The voltas service center in ambala headed by mr rishi gulati mob no([protected])
              is now also avoiding my fone calls and not ready yo resolve my request..On the contrary they are blaming me for the mishandling of the AC..such a pathetic attitude towards the customers is unacceptable..
              PATHETIC EQUIPMENT
              PATHETIC SERVICE
              PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE...tha'ts what i can say about your so called voltas company...I DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT OF THE AC as your technicians have already replaced the parts and tried everything that they could till now..this has caused me immense mental harassment and i swear to god that i[censored] don't resolve my issue i will take you to consumer court.

                i bought voltas split a.c.its motor stopped working.i logged complaint.its been 10 days now.i am told every time it will be replaced in 1 day or 2 .nobody has come to replace it i have never seen such customer care response. voltas you guys suck.
                " I am kadir maner request to you deactivate ( filmy news ) bollywoodnews and photoshoots services from right now. Note- I never renwed this services so far you are charging Rs 8/- daily. This is very unjust on your account. Stop my above said services.do the needful.thankyou.

                  I have purchased Voltas Split-AC-5S on dated[protected] from Sargam Electronics, sector-17, Rohini, Delhi-85. From starting it was not generating proper cooling. At the time of first service we intimated the service man but he told due to big space of room it is not felt that cooling. But after one year, when I called the serviceman of Voltas & complained about same cooling then he told GAS leakage & charges of Rs.2200/- for refilling which was noticed from date of purchase. The company is also not taking any feed back about their products even in free service. The service men of the company are not telling the right position to worth to the hard core of money of the customers. This type of practice loose the faith of the customers. I already informed through email to the officers of VOLTAS but no response from their side even 2nd free service is also not attended so far. Only on my request they sent a person for service who was telling that now there is a gas leakage as far as cooling is concerned which can be rectify by incurring Rs.2200/-. In free service they are not contacting about feed back of customers & very surprised to learn that it has passed to customers to aware about date of purchase for which company should keep in touch with customers for due date at least to know the response of the customers about the product purchased at least within warranty time as I intimated to the service man of Voltas at the time of first service that proper cooling was not responded as expected from the Voltas AC product. This type of practice should be avoided by our indian companies as many multinational companies are in the market. From starting there was noise while running but now its un-avoidable . last month Voltas offered a service and I experienced that you have NON-TECHNICAL service man, they only know how to clean the AC NET.                         Voltas engineer just visited and checked the AC and commented that this is normal noise, and Voltas engineer even d'nt know that what is tha normal DB value for the windoe AC,
                        now i strongly feel that voltas is not able to solve the problem.
                        now i have to think about some legal action becouse repetadely non technical persion send by voltas is irritating me.
                        bad bad bad ... very bad service and equipment supplied by voltas.

                          I purchased 1.5ton Voltas AC in May 2012.But right from day one it is giving trouble.Within six months its gas was leaked. On my complaint company mechanic came and set it right in may 2013.To my dismay gas of the AC is again leaked in August2013 ie within four months.I again make a complaint at voltas service centre, company mechenic came and demanding service charge of Rs.350+1800 for gas reffiling as it is now out of warranty.What i want to know is whether it is a mechenical fault due to which gas is leaking so frequently if that is the case company should replace the AC if not then why the gas is leaking at such a short period.ACs in my neibourhood are working efficiently.Company should own the responsibility for defective AC.How can one afford Rs.2200/every 3-4 months on gas leakage ?                               Dear Sir, I am ritika goel , we have purchased the 1.5 ton split a.c on dt-10/june/2013 from the dealer GARG ELECTRONICS DADRI BRANCH...we have complaint so many times in voltas customer centre but no good response..... we are really disappointed by the product as its not working properly since starting, we made so many complaints to service center but they are not doing anything instead they are just making fool o[censored]s.and they are not taking any action...i also called up the GZB BRANCH MANAGER MR OM TYAGI. but he is also not listening and understand the problem.then we called to Mr.KINSHUK (AREA SALES MANAGER) but he said the company have not making the same product so we only change your outer. many technicians came around and look the problem but no one is correct justify to us one said piece is defected and installing problem is there then through your Installing Person we have re- Install the A.C, BUT NO GOOD EFFECT, other said the problem is in compressor and third one technician said that the problem is in steplizer . But now they only changed the compressor.and our dealer have change the steplizer. but no good effect is there. according to your technician we have changed the outer but no good effect and cooling is there.....and the changed compressor is very light in weight and small size from the first one.......now we have changed all the thing but now A.C IS NOT WORKING .yesterday the technician came but he suggested to change the piece but the Area sales Manager is not listening he only says to rectify the Problem, Now the problem is we have purchased new a.c but its not working since the day we purchased ....and all the thing is renew except the inner A.C.... ...kindly read and take a quick action on it......                                   We purchased two Voltas Air conditioners from Croma, Juhu in April 2012 with extended warranty of two years.

                                  1. We asked for the delivery in May, as our house was under renovation. We were assured that the delivery will be only when we call the number given to us.
                                  But to our shock, on the very next day of the purchase the AC's are delivered and the delivery boys were not ready to take the consignment back.
                                  This is complaint no 1, which no one at Juhu Croma customer service attended to, last year.

                                  2. Complaint # 2 - nobody landed up for the service in the first year of purchase. On inquiry, I was told that the customer has to call to fix up service. Why wasn’t this told to us at the time of purchase??

                                  3. Complaint no 3 - one of the AC's - 1.5 ton, didn't have proper cooling. In spite of repeated calls to Croma and Voltas Care Center, nobody turned up.
                                  Finally, when the man landed up after lot of follow ups, he tells me that Voltas warranty is over and we need to call Croma warranty Center On 11 July 2013, I made my complaint with Croma ( 90290).
                                  Nobody landed up till 2nd August, and when I called I was given another number of the service Center.
                                  The guy who came from this Center enters and asks what warranty do we have? He was not even ready to check the AC when you said its extended warranty from Croma.
                                  He identified the problem and said he will be back on 7th August.

                                  Today is 12 August, I haven't even heard from Croma nor from the service Center people.

                                  I am really fed up of the follow ups. We had purchased Voltas AC from Croma because both are from Tata, a respected name and manufactured in India, versus buying a foreign brand from other shops.

                                  If I don't get this problem solved before 16 August, we will be forced to take some drastic steps.

                                  Voltas and Croma keep tossing us between them. Is this the kind of service a consumer expects from such big chains??

                                  Dear sir,

                                  This is to bring in to your notice that we have purchased Two Voltas window A/C 2 yrs back, now both the A/C are having problems I understand that since it is a electrical appliance so it can happen… but the issue Is that no one is there to listen the problem, I am tired calling customer care number which is not working[protected],[protected] .

                                  I asked the showroom people and they provided the number of so called authorized service centre in Noida, and trust me those guys were the biggest fraud, they took the system for repearing and turned up after 5 days and after the fitting was completed… what happened next………….A/C was not working, and those guys suggested that we shouldn’t have purchased VOLTAS A/C.

                                  We called up another service people who informed us that it has been manhandled by the previous guys…..they also tried to get it right but it simply didn’t worked, wwe called up another service guys who finally informed that compressor needs to be replaced with new one, Now we don’t know what to do.

                                  We wanted the company to check the problem and repair it because then only one can get satisfied otherwise each and every time a new service guy will turn up and will produce his ideas.

                                  TATA is very big company and Indian have faith on this particular brand name, but you people don’t even have your own service centre then how will you provide after sales services to your clients, your numbers which are mentioned on your website are out of order

                                  Now you suggest that what a customer should do…sell A/C to a junk dealer? We are facing this problem from the past one month what is the use of the A/C if it gets repaired in winters.

                                  If someone is there to listen then pl understand our problem or let the things remain as they are.

                                  VOLTAS — Highly Poor Service

                                  This is to inform you that I purchased an A.C of Voltas (Virtis Elite) in the month of April 2008.

                                  I was assured for the services as per the scheme provided by the company but there was no such visit

                                  nither by service boy nor by dealer.

                                  Even after sevaral personal visit to the dealer & complaint no action was taken but on the other side the

                                  dealer put blame over the service center & the service center did so to the dealer.

                                  At last no one took any kind of action and ultimately I am suffering from highly poor service.

                                  After fifteen days from my second service on 3rd July a sound problem started with my AC on which I booked a complain(my complain number is-H16482) after which the person who came to attend my complain told us that the inside unit has to be brought down and cleaned up from inside which has to be done on the last service but it was not done and now if this job has to be carried out then i will have to pay some amount,for which I am not agree because it is the fault of the service man who came to do my machine's last service and did not paid attention on this part of the machine.

                                    I wish to draw your kind attention that I had purchased one Window A/C from M/s Rhythm House, B-1/35-36, Sector-18, NOIDA vide their Invoice No.37514 dt. 8th April,2007 (Make-Voltas AC 1.5 Ton. Window Vertis Plus 6338) who is an authorized Dealer of Voltas Limited.

                                    After a year or so, (in the next season) when I started, it was not cooling. I contacted immediately M/s Rhythm House and I was advised by them to lodge a complaint with the Customer Care. Accordingly, I contacted Customer Care and lodged a complaint with the Customer Care and on their advice Engineer of M/s Swift Aircare, visited and inspected the A/C. He informed me that AC is not cooling as its Compressor is not working. Since the Compressor was under Guarantee, he informed me that he would take the A/C to Workshop for the replacement of Compressor. As I was not aware about the ABC of AC, I allowed him to take the AC to Workshop. I don’t know whether Swift Aircare have changed the Compressor or not but since then it is not working properly. You can see from your Records whether a new Compressor was issued or not from the Store Department of Voltas as replacement against the above mentioned AC.

                                    Since 2008, it is not working properly and in every season I have to lodge complaint with the Customer Care stating that my A/C is not working or Cooling. Every time, Engineer of Swift Aircare comes to rectify the defect which either relates to Gas Leakage or not properly cooling. It seems either it was mishandled or the important part(s) i.e cooling system has taken out by them intentionally or replaced it with the other ACs which were lying in their Workshop. Is there no other Service Centre in Noida except Swift Aircare who can see deeply check the reason of above problem?.

                                    As on date, I have spent more than Rs.10000/-in the last five to six years but problem is still exists. For example, I have spent Rs.2200 on account of Gas Filling and Service charges in the month of May,2011, and agains in the month of May,2012 (i.e on 7th May,2012) I have spent Rs.1000/- on account of repairing of PCB when there was not problem with the PCB and again Rs.380/- on repairing of Stablier as it was stated by the Engineer of Swift Aircare that there is a defect in the PCB as well as Stabilizer when there was no defect in both the items. I do not know whether there was a defect in the PCB, Stabilizer or not, as I do not know ABC of A/C.

                                    Interestingly, when they came to repair the PCB, Gas was in the AC and when they came to service the A/C, exactly after two days, Gas was not there. This shows that A/C was mis-handled by the staff of Swift Aircare. This all shows that either Swift Aircare is not either properly rectifying the defect or making money by creating every time a new problem /defect. In this way they are not only destroying the name / image of your own but also of Voltas Limited which is a reputed name, especially for AC, in the world.

                                    Again aforesaid AC was repaired by M/s Swift Aircase on 25.06.2012 and was delivered on 4th July,2012, after rectifying the defects as well as filling the Gas, as stated by them.

                                    As it was not working, it was taken to Workshop on 04.07.2012 (exactly after Ten days) and was delivered on 08.07.2012( after 4 days) with the assurance that now it is Okay and will not create any problem in future. As the season was on the edge of ending, it was hardly used for 15-20 days in the season.(year 2012).

                                    When in the next season[protected] i.e on 5th May,2013 when I started, it functioned properly till 28th May,2013 (only 24 days) and when I started it on 29th May,2013, there was no cooling. As I again started it after sometime, same problem, as mentioned above, was faced by me.

                                    In view the above, you will observe that what kind of service is being provided by an Authorized Service Centre of Voltas, especially M/s Swift Aircare who is based in Sector-37, Noida.

                                    Looking into the above, you are requested to kindly look into the matter seriously and take an appropriate action against the Swift Aircare or advise them to replace the defected part(s) free of cost, keeping in view the amount I have spent as on date on this AC.

                                      I got complain number 13AU0102414.Useless service department. I am from Ahmedabad my voltase vertis gold 2.0 ton split ac is not working for a week. and cutomer care unit not help me for that just answering that responsibilites are of local contract based service centres. Even senior executive Mr. Siddharth is not answering properly..THIRD CLASS SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN INDIA
                                      I got a perfect machine but very poor after sale service.

                                      Local service contact numbers[protected], 66301187, 66301188 are useless.

                                      No one receive them for a long time and Mr. Ram, Mr. Bashir (or I can't here exactly) etc. are just showroom items.

                                      I have Voltase Vertise Gold for last five years, I never face any problem but when an outdoor unit PCB had shot.

                                      I find poor after sale service. Call center custumer care executive Ms. Mansi, Ms. Parul and their head Mr Siddharth * Mr. Santosh also

                                      put all resposibilities over local service center (Contract Based).
                                      I think Voltase company do not want to solve any problem of customer who doesn't have warranty.

                                      Voltas Vertis Airconditioner 2.0 Ton — Pathetic After Sales Service

                                      The After Sales Service of Voltas is pathetic. I have been chasing the personnel and just do not seem to get any response from them. The Servicing people expects the customer to chase them and keep calling them as if they have done us a big favor by selling this cheap, low quality product to us.

                                      I purchased the 2 Ton A/C of Voltas due to brand value and I am extremely unpleased with my experience. The product is not upto the mark and also the after sales service is PATHETIC.

                                      voltas/gold i split AC — bad service

                                      I have just purchsed a Gold i split AC on 02/04/2010 and on 12th it is not cooling our room and one of copper wire is become salty and i am trying complaining but the nos. provide to me are useless not a single no. is correct and now i complained yesterday whose complaint no. is 10AP1401202 on 14/04/2010. and now they are saying you will get the service engineer in 24 hours but till now non of engineers came neither i got a call. pls respond as early as possible.

                                      We have purchesed 19-20 ac's of Voltas make this year but still the split ac's are not running properly even after attended by company service partners. Each time they visit one or other machine start creating problem. Now some split ac's are having water lekage from indoor unit.

                                      I brought a voltas AC from Multisales cochin on april 1st weeks back ,after 3 weeks it stopped working at all, i communicated to the dealer and also logged a complaint at the call centre , eben wrote mails to CEO and other senior management of Voltas , even now no body attended the complaint , pls advice wt to do

                                      I HAVE PURCHASED SPLIT 1.5 TON VERTIS PEARL AC IN APR-12. SINCE PURCHASE COOLING WAS NOT PROPER. 2 TIME I CALLED SERVICE EXECUTIVE AND EVERY TIME THEY ASKED THAT IT IS ELECTRICITY ISSUE. THIS TIME I LAUNCHED THE COMPLAIN ON 15TH APR AND BEFORE THAT I GET MY ELECTRICT SUPPY PROPERLY. ON 17TH SERVICE PERSON VISIT AT HOME AND AGREE THAT THERE IS SOME ISSUE WITH COMPRESSOR AND ASK TO COME IN 1 HOUR AND CARRY THE OUTDOOR UNIT. SINCE LAST 10 DAYS HE DIN'T COME BACK EVEN NOT CALL US. I REGISTER THE COMPLAIN ON 18TH APR AND 10 FOLLOW UP CALL TILL TODAY. EVERY TIME SERVICE CARE EXECUTIVE ASKED THAT YOUR COMPLAIN FORWARDED TO SENIOR TECHNICIAN ( DON'T KNOW WHERE SUCH PERSON WITH COMPANY OR NOT) AND PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED IN 3-4 HOURS. NO OTHER CONTACT TO ACESS. VERY HORRIBLE AND POOR SERVICE. MY LAST PRODUCT FROM VOLTAS EVEN HOPE THAT PROBLEM GET RESOLVED BY COMPANY.

                                        I have purchased voltas Window 1 ton AC in 03rd May 2013. During installation found some of the blade of the grill were broken. I have immediately informed the dealer regarding this. Dealer ask me to call to the company concern (Voltas). In voltas after several calls they attended the complaint and assure us that our complaint will be resolve shortly as they do not have particular spare/part or grill in stock. After one month they visited my house and sang the same story. Now, its been Three months and they are entertaining or bother to resolve my problem. Please intervene and help.
