Its not even a year since Voltas 1.5T Vertis elite split AC was purchased (bought on 23/2/2012 from NEXT electrical shop in Ambattur), the AC had stopped giving cool air and was blowing normal air instead. When called the authorized dealer, he informed that its a fault with gas cylinder in there. He purchased a cylinder of gas at our cost of Rs 1500 and used it to fill the gas inside the a/c and took the remaining gas in the cylinder with him ( I don't know what plans he has with the remaining gas in the cylinder, anyways, its not ours to keep even though we paid for it). The very same night, the AC was back to its problematic state where it did not cool the air but was blowing warm air even though the temperature setting indicated cool.
Please make these people attend to consumers problem with high importance and ask them not to cheat people with their money. We have been trying to get in touch with the incharge person, but could never make him attend to this problem till now, as he keeps promising to give this problem a look on a future date.

    Sir,
    I purchased voltas split ac 1.5 ton from your dealer at ideal home appliances, Trivandrum in 29 march 2012 It is not working properly from day of installing “High sound “ your service centre person visited more then 6-7 times but fault is beyond his knowledge. service centre is not able to remove the fault. ‘’High sound & some times compressor is not working’’ & no cooling in turbo function .Trivandrum service centre (cristal care,kannanmoola, Trivandrum) they send trainee exicutives but that people not able the service and that peoples colaps &damaged my a/c unit .After the service ‘’High sound & some times compressor is not working’& swing flap not working properly and cooling is very low.

    so I talk to my dealer at ideal home appliances, Trivandrum They go to replaced the A/C to give the letter of Voltas service centre. at the near last service mechanic visited my house and he like dishonored very harsh and this time they told me that they are not going to provide the letter they challenged me that I can complain anywhere, even in consumer court... They challenged me that he will see me how to replace or cleared the complaint what can I do now...

    I hereby request to concerned officials through this message to replace a/c & my money along with interest otherwise I will be compelled to knock the door of consumer court to get rid of this poor quality product.
    Please solved the problem other wise we will move consumer court...Voltas of TATA. What can I do now...?

    VOLTAS SPLIT AC — COMPRESSOR NOT WORKING

    Respected Sir,

    We have purchased a VOLTAS Spil AC on 05/05/2009. Since this time , the AC has got fault nearlly ten or more times. Sometime it's stabilizer not working, sometime it's gas get leaked , some time it's Compresser not working. We have made the complaint many times in the dealer. The Engineer comes , but every time we are not finding a permanent solution for resolution of that type of faults.

    Today one of the Voltas Enigneer Mr Sonu Gowdial came and checked the AC and said , it's compresser get failed and needs to be replacement. The AC is out off warranty and the compresser is within warranty period. Still he is asking for the payment of Rs 2500.00, Also he is saying , it'll take more than a week to complete the job. We don't understand , why he takes such a long time to repaier the AC ? We are thinking ourself that, we have done a huse mistake by purchasing the VOLTAS Ac. Also Mr Praveen , Contact No- [protected] & [protected] the head of the dealer is not supporting us. Also we don't understand that, why we pay the GAS & other charges , even though the fault aries in the Compresser. SO during removing the compresser , the GAS will obviously be drain out from compresser. The refilling of GAS requiered to commission the compresser.

    We request you , kindly help us to get the ac repaierd under free of cost as the Compresser is within warranty

    Voltas AC — COOLING PROBLEM /COMPRESSOR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

    dear sir/madam,

    i am dinesh shukla from Jabalpur m p ...i had buy a window Air
    conditioner 2 TON AC NO O/D 4511150A10L006522 OR I/D[protected]OK020579 ON DATE[protected] from jabalpur distributor name bajaj traders.

    we don’t know more about Air conditioner ...than we try to use ac in summer

    but it is not provide proper cooling
    then we call to dealer to resolve this but he said take this
    no.[protected] ...i had registered a complaint on date[protected] again no.11AP1204507 in
    voltas care they give me 3 working days to resolve this...but dose not provide proper response and did not solve my ac problem till now . than I have try to contact voltas executive mp mr paresh ([protected])in indore mp he told me try to resolve but he told me than forget than try to contact him he is not receiving my call. After that when i again make a call to customer care
    person talked her second time on phone and
    remind her that no body is taking care of my complaint please resolve he
    said i am forwarding this case to my head and will resolve asap. then again
    i am waiting for resolve my problem ...again i had
    registered a complaint again no. 11MY1500948 that no body is coming till now .

    this and let me know what i have to do more if any docs required please let
    me know i will give you the soft copy of the documents what you have
    required

      This is regarding poor service of Tata Voltas, they only sale their product but do not want to give services for their product, I have registered one simple case for servicing my AC (Tata Voltas Platinum 1.5 ton) and it has been 15 days passed but still no action initiated from Voltas. My case no- 12N02202718. My concern is only that Is there anything we can do against company for such bas services?

        I purchase a voltas spilt a/c vertis plus 2.0 ton from PSB ELECTRONIC rajouri garden New Delhi 110002. bill no.14354 purchase dt=11/9/2011. its not workoing since 12.09 .2011 . i all ready do more complaint at your customer care & send all detail at your head office ' VOLTAS LTD , voltas house A , 5th floor , chinchpokli, Mumbai-400033 on 1st on dated-10.09.2012 & reminder cum legal notic-8.10.2012. but i am not getting any response your side. please do some in my favour i[censored] want to make your customer regular .
        i Hope u will do in my favour as soon as possible .

        VOLTAS — A/C not working

        I have a Voltas window a/c however it has been giving me problems since the 2nd year onwards. As of now if i leave it at 16 degrees, it will only give cold air for a few minutes and will then through warm air, again after a few min cold air will start blowing. All in all the room is not at all close to 16 degrees due to which i face really unpleasant whether when i am going to sleep. Please assist

          The remote of my Voltas window ac abruptly stopped functioning. A call in this regard was made to the call center, who promptly sent someone the following day, got the remote picked up, repaired it, and returned it in the evening the same day.

          Must say, this was all pretty impressive.

          However, within a month, the problem reiterated.

          Expecting similar levels of service, another complaint was logged in. No one came for the next few days. On enquiring about the same, the call center guy told me that the complaint has already been attended by one Mohd. Hashim, and that the current status of the complaint is closed. On my insistence, they logged in a fresh complaint regarding the remote. However, they could not log in a complaint against the service center.

          Finally, Mr. Hashim turned up on 30-Aug-2012. However, there was a marked difference in his attitude this time. Nonetheless, he took my remote, gave me a receipt, and left. Before leaving, he also informed me of a couple of phone numbers to be contacted, if need be.

          After about a week, I called up the number and the person told me that i will get my remote the following day, which of course, never happened.

          A week thereafter, i called up voltas, and informed them about the same. They assured me that i will get my remote the following day, which also never happened. Subsequently, i registered my complaint through their automated system on the website, hoping this will atleast get registered. Nothing happened.

          After about a month, i called up voltas, and was promised yet again, that they will deliver the remote the same day by 7. Yet to happen. I am still waiting. They also promised me that the regional head will call me in another 15 minutes. That call is still awaited. The call center refuses to give any contact details of any official.

          I started looking for email id of officials online, however, as expected, those are really not published.

            Dear Sir,

            I have bought a voltas A.c. on 3rd week of August 2012 from GURU MAA
            ENTERPRISES RUDRAPUR,UTTARAKHAND.
            Problems which I have faced-

            1.I have asked to pay Rs. 500 for installation by service engineer
            which i denied (neither get help from service team for its
            installations)) . I didn't pay installation charge for any other
            electrical aplpliance like washing m/c (IFB) Fridge(Whirpool) etc.

            2.Just after a week I have started getting problem with my display
            board for which i have called service engineer to come and check.
            He came and took the chip and informed us to get back with a new chip
            in 3-4 days from the company.But today almost 30 days have been passed
            there is no info from his side.He is not even bothered to pick my
            call.On calling to service centre also I am not getting any
            satisfactory answer.

            This is really getting frustrated to have this kind of behavior from
            such a reputed compay.

            I want a heavy compensation from Voltas.

            Also I am not sure whether this forum is reviewed by state govt. officials or not.
            But if its juz for submitting complaint and no response from the other side then there is no use of this forum.
            So i sincerely request the concerned guys to look into the each and evry complaint and take the necessary actions.
            The voltas guy with whom i m in contact and they are not answering properly and hence suspended the matter since lat 1 month by saying today and tommorrow;

              as per previous mails and telephonic conversations U had told me to Return the AC to Dealer MR Goel and Take ur money back as u had sheltered the Dealer and no matter about the customer suffer M.R Rohit I had return the AC To Dealer 30 Dayz Back and He had Charged Rs 11500 for Installation of AC Which I had agreed because U had Sheltring him for the Unjustice he is doing. and From the past one month I had called Dealer Mr Goel to return my money back Which is 30,[protected] = 18,500 ( eighteen Thousand only) Which he is not refunding Because of the shelter by MR Rohit

              It is really a worst experience for me to buy a voltas AC as already I'm using 5 Voltas Split Ac in my Business Premises Now I had Purchased Samsung ac Instead of Voltas at Home and Carrier AC's at my business Premises at Gandhi Nagar Jammu.

              Si I request u to plz Refund my payment with in a week Otherwise I've to File a Legal Complaint against Company and Dealer at Consumer Court.

              tata/voltas ac — extemely bad experiences

              till today i was working for a company.I ordered 17 ac from voltas, as per their offers, they promissed me the proper installation as well.They send acs then the game started, their so called service engineer started assuring me he is coming within 10 minutes.After a week he started refusing my calls.In the mean time i tried to call every no given at voltas.com some of them are nonexistent others were non responding.Finally i lost my job.

                I have purchased voltas ac from a dealer 2 years back from now , some how it stopped working i had called the tata voltas customer care they had provided me the call slip no. 12sp0703032 , they had authorized service franchise by the name of Power mat electronics, Shop no- 32 uday singh palace naharpur , sector 7 ,rohini , Delhi -85 , ph:- [protected] , [protected] , they had contacted me and asked that as my product warranty is over i have to pay some charges which i had -agreed and they had taken 2550/- in advance and provide me a slip on 8-9-12 and on 9-9-12 they had picked up the ac from my residence and today on 20-9-12 the ac is in the same position as it was before anything done by the service center , and when i called power mat electronics the customer service executive is very rude and start abusing ,i only asked that when i shall get my ac . from this experience i will never suggest any one to buy this piece of tata's i.e voltas ac . and now i want my money back as i didnt get what i had paid for , so the franchise people are very harsh so thats why this is the last option for filing consumer complaint .

                  I had purchased 1.5 ton window a/c in jan 2012. The a/c has not worked properly for 2 days till now. No cooling. Temperature does not go below 30. gets off and starts again. Makes noise, no cooling, very slow in cooling.
                  have complained 10-12 times earlier.The concerned person came to see the above a/c but informed that the problem is with stabilizer. We have changed 3 stabilizer by now on voltas engineer who have visited to check a/c thrice.

                  A/C is still not cooling. The engineer from Voltas visited few days back but he was unable to solve the problem. By this it is clear that the problem is with ac only. It seems that voltas is not understanding the sancity of the information/situation. Even after so many complaints,our previous mails, service request, request for replacement of ac, engineer coming to our house and helpless because he could not undertsnad the problem. We had mailed our problem and Voltas has shown unconcerned behaviour to us. Kindly help us.

                    I had purchased a Voltas Gold (1.5 t window) air conditioner 8 months back for which I had made my initial complaint on the Sep 8, 2012 at the company's customer service number. The complaint was relating to water leakage from thee Ac's front pannel. I was issued a compliant number 12SP0801905, and it was communicated that someone from the technical side / technician will contact as early as possible. I was not given any definite time.

                    Since Sep 8,2012, I have been following up with the company, called severally at their call centre, even have filled the complaint form but there has been no resolution yet. Today, Sep 15the 2012, I was again assured by the customer services (Mr. Shailender) that a technician will visit before 1900 hrs but it doesn't seem true as when i again called it was communicated that i should wait for another day for the resolution.

                      never experienced such unprofessional approach of handling customer complaints. Mr. Pawar with # [protected] had absolutely no courtesy to talk to his company customers, arrogant, irresponsible and really not interested in doing his duties with complete commitment.

                      He never took a chance to listen to complaints and only went on yelling about how wrongly the complaint was raised and how it should not have been raised. Asked for unrealistic proof documents. Later went on to check with his teams and seniors as he himself was not sure of his decisions.

                      TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

                        We are facing water leakage problem from the date of purchase & installed 23/04/2012. After informed to Mr. Rajesh - [protected] dealer Fine Electronics at ballabgarh no action taken by him moreover they send a technician for the same but they refill AC gas within 7 days of purchasing. Finally I decided to log a complaint direct to Voltas & for the I log a 7 times complaints at [protected] but result is Zeroooo.... moreover I reach to Voltas in-charge Haryana
                        Mr. Hasija- [protected] & Raghvender- [protected]. Mr. Raghvender visited at 12/07/2012 my house with another dealer Mr. Deepak [protected] & they ensure that problem resolved within 2-3 days but result is same Zeroooo. After some days I again reach Mr. Raghvender then again Mr. Hasan's - [protected] team visited my house for resolution but result again Zeroooo...

                        In between my wall under AC is fully damage due to water leakage & bed also damaged in 7-10 time pull in out conditions. I have a recording clips when water was leaking & complaints numbers from voltas.


                        I am really very upset & frustrated from the service of Voltas & its dealer Fine Electronics behave. This behave for a customer is very unhappy & feel uncomfortable in purchasing any product from Voltas.

                        Please help for resolve my problem (AC, Bed & wall issue) & penalized to dealer for the same issue.

                        Voltas / Split AC — V.V.Poor service

                        I brought Voltas Virties Plus 1,5 T split AC on 15th Feb 1009.The same is not functioning from 16th May 1010, which is two month out of warranty. I asked company service on 17th May, they came my house on 19 th may and issue a service bill of Rs. 500/-,out of which 250/- on account of spares, but after living of their service personal within 10 minutes machine was not functioning, again I have made a complain on same day 19th may. They send their service personal on 22th May for removing some component from unit and they have take the same. Till today (31.5.10, 11.30 AM) they are not responding even disconnecting the phone call every time. I am very surprised, like a TATA company customer service support is like this.

                        Voltas / Split AC — Defective Outer Unit No Service From 2 months

                        We have Purchased a VOTAS SPLIT AC VERTIS I . After buying in My 2010 after two months the outer unit started making e noice we have raised the complaint at the toll free number of TATA VOLATS Customer Care . The Executive/Engineer came and he said that Outer motor is defective and it has to be replaced . From that day till today that is FEB 2011 we have been calling to sutomer carte change the motor and they says that they donot have spare parts . I dnot Know how they can sell the products which spare parts they donot have . And its in Warranty .

                        Its the hopeless service i can expect from Tata who says that they care for customer .

                          In response to my complaint No. 12AP 0605803 dated 06/04/2012, i would like to bring to your kind notice that within a month of repairs/gas refiling, the AC has stopped cooling again. It is highly regrettable to point out that the service being provided by M/s Voltas Ltd through M/s On spot Air cools is highly pathetic. The engineers dont even care to bring their own gas cylinder for welding and didnot pull down the AC to carry out the repairs properly. Their shoddy work has resulted in totally improper service to me. They are just interested in making money at the expense of the customers.Even the complaint is attended to very belatedly. I think it is high time for me to take up this matter in appropriate redressal forums as lot of trouble has been caused to me.

                          to them about the pathetic service provided by M/s On Spot Air Conditioning, Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad,
                          who have been fleecing me for the past one year and even your company is unable to redress my
                          grievance despite my repeated complaints.

                          It is hoped that through your efforts M/s voltas Ltd attends to my complaint.

                            we had bought one voltas vertis elite split ac 1.5 ton on 13th Jan' 2012 from M/s Swagat Electronics, K.B Road, Jorhat.
                            the ac started developing problems in july end. accordingly, we lodged a complaint no. 12au0603769, and also received a call from the local service manager, Mr. Roy. the service manager has always been misleading us, by telling that the mechanics will reach our place today, tomorrow, till date when I am still waiting for them by skipping office and writing like a fool again. Interestingly, we had called a number of times with repeated reminders to both the toll free numbers and the local manager. but still there doesn't seem to be any effect. what to do with these guys? can anyone pls guide?

                              I have purchaged new voltas AC (Sr number 4511411E12E001357) in last month. we have logged a complain with voltas from day 1 of installation, than they told me that colling is not proper due to the roof is heating but after 15 days in raining season, roof is also cool and AC is not working now also. so i have logged a complain again on 5th august their people has came and fill some gases, but issue is same. two persons has visited again and told me that this time our authorised person will come for gas filling but same person has come again. he told us to call on another number. we have not got complain number is 12AU0501419.

                                Purchased voltas split 2 ton ac from awadh refigration works ,badhri house ,pratapgarh ,when the package was open at house remote was missing ,and i find that ac condition was not good it was looking as it was open earlier due to missing of bolts all losing body etc ,they said it will be given ,after installation ,ac was running cooling fine ,due to absence of remote no function just cooling after 2 daye they provide remote and i used i noticed that after off from remote indoor unit close but outdoor unit continously run and stops only by power cut, they send the technicine he said that there is PCB problem it will be changed ,after harassing me several time after 1 month they said they need PCB to replace after 2 day they they said they have changed PCB it is new one ,after installation of PCB due to power failure ac was not start ,technician said that it is fine when electicity will come u can run the ac ,when i run ac indoor unit run but compressor does not start so i again call them they said again PCB problem then i came to know that they have tried to repair PCB but they fail to do so and compressor was direct running ,they again said PCB will change ,but my problem is that they already knew that and sale me defected ac, doesnt give remote as they knew that if remote is given i willknow ,from last 2 months it doesnt work for a single day from the purchase date, i insist to change the ac but they rejected

                                  I had purchased a split AC Vertis Plus of voltas, which developed manufacturing defect. A complaint No !2AP0802496 was registered. the mechanic agreed it was a manufacturing defect and they will replace it; as the middle panel is not available it will be done next week. this went on till July 2012. Then received a call saying the panel is available and an amount of Rs400- charged as the warranty period is over. I reminded them the complaint was registered in April, 2012. The answer was that we will have to check if the panel is available or not and they will call me back, the call never came. That is for voltas.

                                    WE PURCHASED 8 PCS VOLTAS 1.5 TON SPLIT ACS FROM M/S RECO ELECTRONICS OF ASANSOL ON 11.10.2011. THE ACS WERE INSTALLED ON 12.03.2012 AT OUR BANKING HALL. SINCE THEN FOUR MACHINES ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. WE ALWAYS CALL YOUR AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE M/S COOLING CENTRE. BUT, THEY ALWAYS COME AFTER ATLEAST FIVE CALLS. NECESSARY HELP IS ALSO NOT AVAILABLE FROM M/S RECO ELECTRONICS. NOW, ONE OF THE AC MACHINE IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS SINCE MORE THAN ONE MONTH. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS ONE SERVICEMAN CAME AFTER NEARLY 20 DAYS AND HE LEFT OUR BRANCH WITH ASSURANCE TO MAKE IT OPERATIVE WITHIN 2 DAYS. BUT , WE ARE SORRY TO INFORM YOU , THAT AFTER THAT ONE WEEK HAS BEEN PASSED , BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. NOW , WE HAVE BECOME DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE OF THE VOLTAS ACS AND AFTER SALES SERVICE OF M/S COOLING CENTRE , ASANSOL AND WE ARE GOING TO REPORT OUR HEAD OFFICE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING ANY VOLTAS PRODUCT.

                                        I HAVE PURCHASED WATER DISPENSER FROM CROMA ON 25.5.2012 AND IT STOP WORKING ON 20.6.2012 AND THEIR SERVICE CENTER ATTEND MY COMPLAINT ON 25.6.2O12 AND TOOK 2 DAMAGED PIECES. AFTER THAT, THEY CAME BACK ON 10.7.2012 AND REPLACED THAT PIECES BUT STILL IT DOESNOT WORK.
