I had purchased 1.5 ton window a/c in jan 2012. The a/c has not worked properly for 2 days till now. No cooling. Temperature does not go below 30. gets off and starts again. Makes noise, no cooling, very slow in cooling.
have complained 10-12 times earlier.The concerned person came to see the above a/c but informed that the problem is with stabilizer. We have changed 3 stabilizer by now on voltas engineer who have visited to check a/c thrice.

A/C is still not cooling. The engineer from Voltas visited few days back but he was unable to solve the problem. By this it is clear that the problem is with ac only. It seems that voltas is not understanding the sancity of the information/situation. Even after so many complaints,our previous mails, service request, request for replacement of ac, engineer coming to our house and helpless because he could not undertsnad the problem. We had mailed our problem and Voltas has shown unconcerned behaviour to us. Kindly help us.

    I had purchased a Voltas Gold (1.5 t window) air conditioner 8 months back for which I had made my initial complaint on the Sep 8, 2012 at the company's customer service number. The complaint was relating to water leakage from thee Ac's front pannel. I was issued a compliant number 12SP0801905, and it was communicated that someone from the technical side / technician will contact as early as possible. I was not given any definite time.

    Since Sep 8,2012, I have been following up with the company, called severally at their call centre, even have filled the complaint form but there has been no resolution yet. Today, Sep 15the 2012, I was again assured by the customer services (Mr. Shailender) that a technician will visit before 1900 hrs but it doesn't seem true as when i again called it was communicated that i should wait for another day for the resolution.

      never experienced such unprofessional approach of handling customer complaints. Mr. Pawar with # [protected] had absolutely no courtesy to talk to his company customers, arrogant, irresponsible and really not interested in doing his duties with complete commitment.

      He never took a chance to listen to complaints and only went on yelling about how wrongly the complaint was raised and how it should not have been raised. Asked for unrealistic proof documents. Later went on to check with his teams and seniors as he himself was not sure of his decisions.

        We are facing water leakage problem from the date of purchase & installed 23/04/2012. After informed to Mr. Rajesh - [protected] dealer Fine Electronics at ballabgarh no action taken by him moreover they send a technician for the same but they refill AC gas within 7 days of purchasing. Finally I decided to log a complaint direct to Voltas & for the I log a 7 times complaints at [protected] but result is Zeroooo.... moreover I reach to Voltas in-charge Haryana
        Mr. Hasija- [protected] & Raghvender- [protected]. Mr. Raghvender visited at 12/07/2012 my house with another dealer Mr. Deepak [protected] & they ensure that problem resolved within 2-3 days but result is same Zeroooo. After some days I again reach Mr. Raghvender then again Mr. Hasan's - [protected] team visited my house for resolution but result again Zeroooo...

        In between my wall under AC is fully damage due to water leakage & bed also damaged in 7-10 time pull in out conditions. I have a recording clips when water was leaking & complaints numbers from voltas.


        I am really very upset & frustrated from the service of Voltas & its dealer Fine Electronics behave. This behave for a customer is very unhappy & feel uncomfortable in purchasing any product from Voltas.

        Please help for resolve my problem (AC, Bed & wall issue) & penalized to dealer for the same issue.

        Voltas / Split AC — V.V.Poor service

        I brought Voltas Virties Plus 1,5 T split AC on 15th Feb 1009.The same is not functioning from 16th May 1010, which is two month out of warranty. I asked company service on 17th May, they came my house on 19 th may and issue a service bill of Rs. 500/-,out of which 250/- on account of spares, but after living of their service personal within 10 minutes machine was not functioning, again I have made a complain on same day 19th may. They send their service personal on 22th May for removing some component from unit and they have take the same. Till today (31.5.10, 11.30 AM) they are not responding even disconnecting the phone call every time. I am very surprised, like a TATA company customer service support is like this.

        Voltas / Split AC — Defective Outer Unit No Service From 2 months

        We have Purchased a VOTAS SPLIT AC VERTIS I . After buying in My 2010 after two months the outer unit started making e noice we have raised the complaint at the toll free number of TATA VOLATS Customer Care . The Executive/Engineer came and he said that Outer motor is defective and it has to be replaced . From that day till today that is FEB 2011 we have been calling to sutomer carte change the motor and they says that they donot have spare parts . I dnot Know how they can sell the products which spare parts they donot have . And its in Warranty .

        Its the hopeless service i can expect from Tata who says that they care for customer .

          In response to my complaint No. 12AP 0605803 dated 06/04/2012, i would like to bring to your kind notice that within a month of repairs/gas refiling, the AC has stopped cooling again. It is highly regrettable to point out that the service being provided by M/s Voltas Ltd through M/s On spot Air cools is highly pathetic. The engineers dont even care to bring their own gas cylinder for welding and didnot pull down the AC to carry out the repairs properly. Their shoddy work has resulted in totally improper service to me. They are just interested in making money at the expense of the customers.Even the complaint is attended to very belatedly. I think it is high time for me to take up this matter in appropriate redressal forums as lot of trouble has been caused to me.

          You have also failed to provide me the details of your higher ups to enable me to complain
          to them about the pathetic service provided by M/s On Spot Air Conditioning, Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad,
          who have been fleecing me for the past one year and even your company is unable to redress my
          grievance despite my repeated complaints.

          It is hoped that through your efforts M/s voltas Ltd attends to my complaint.

            we had bought one voltas vertis elite split ac 1.5 ton on 13th Jan' 2012 from M/s Swagat Electronics, K.B Road, Jorhat.
            the ac started developing problems in july end. accordingly, we lodged a complaint no. 12au0603769, and also received a call from the local service manager, Mr. Roy. the service manager has always been misleading us, by telling that the mechanics will reach our place today, tomorrow, till date when I am still waiting for them by skipping office and writing like a fool again. Interestingly, we had called a number of times with repeated reminders to both the toll free numbers and the local manager. but still there doesn't seem to be any effect. what to do with these guys? can anyone pls guide?

              I have purchaged new voltas AC (Sr number 4511411E12E001357) in last month. we have logged a complain with voltas from day 1 of installation, than they told me that colling is not proper due to the roof is heating but after 15 days in raining season, roof is also cool and AC is not working now also. so i have logged a complain again on 5th august their people has came and fill some gases, but issue is same. two persons has visited again and told me that this time our authorised person will come for gas filling but same person has come again. he told us to call on another number. we have not got complain number is 12AU0501419.

                Purchased voltas split 2 ton ac from awadh refigration works ,badhri house ,pratapgarh ,when the package was open at house remote was missing ,and i find that ac condition was not good it was looking as it was open earlier due to missing of bolts all losing body etc ,they said it will be given ,after installation ,ac was running cooling fine ,due to absence of remote no function just cooling after 2 daye they provide remote and i used i noticed that after off from remote indoor unit close but outdoor unit continously run and stops only by power cut, they send the technicine he said that there is PCB problem it will be changed ,after harassing me several time after 1 month they said they need PCB to replace after 2 day they they said they have changed PCB it is new one ,after installation of PCB due to power failure ac was not start ,technician said that it is fine when electicity will come u can run the ac ,when i run ac indoor unit run but compressor does not start so i again call them they said again PCB problem then i came to know that they have tried to repair PCB but they fail to do so and compressor was direct running ,they again said PCB will change ,but my problem is that they already knew that and sale me defected ac, doesnt give remote as they knew that if remote is given i willknow ,from last 2 months it doesnt work for a single day from the purchase date, i insist to change the ac but they rejected

                  I had purchased a split AC Vertis Plus of voltas, which developed manufacturing defect. A complaint No !2AP0802496 was registered. the mechanic agreed it was a manufacturing defect and they will replace it; as the middle panel is not available it will be done next week. this went on till July 2012. Then received a call saying the panel is available and an amount of Rs400- charged as the warranty period is over. I reminded them the complaint was registered in April, 2012. The answer was that we will have to check if the panel is available or not and they will call me back, the call never came. That is for voltas.

                    WE PURCHASED 8 PCS VOLTAS 1.5 TON SPLIT ACS FROM M/S RECO ELECTRONICS OF ASANSOL ON 11.10.2011. THE ACS WERE INSTALLED ON 12.03.2012 AT OUR BANKING HALL. SINCE THEN FOUR MACHINES ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. WE ALWAYS CALL YOUR AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE M/S COOLING CENTRE. BUT, THEY ALWAYS COME AFTER ATLEAST FIVE CALLS. NECESSARY HELP IS ALSO NOT AVAILABLE FROM M/S RECO ELECTRONICS. NOW, ONE OF THE AC MACHINE IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS SINCE MORE THAN ONE MONTH. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS ONE SERVICEMAN CAME AFTER NEARLY 20 DAYS AND HE LEFT OUR BRANCH WITH ASSURANCE TO MAKE IT OPERATIVE WITHIN 2 DAYS. BUT , WE ARE SORRY TO INFORM YOU , THAT AFTER THAT ONE WEEK HAS BEEN PASSED , BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. NOW , WE HAVE BECOME DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE OF THE VOLTAS ACS AND AFTER SALES SERVICE OF M/S COOLING CENTRE , ASANSOL AND WE ARE GOING TO REPORT OUR HEAD OFFICE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING ANY VOLTAS PRODUCT.

                        I HAVE PURCHASED WATER DISPENSER FROM CROMA ON 25.5.2012 AND IT STOP WORKING ON 20.6.2012 AND THEIR SERVICE CENTER ATTEND MY COMPLAINT ON 25.6.2O12 AND TOOK 2 DAMAGED PIECES. AFTER THAT, THEY CAME BACK ON 10.7.2012 AND REPLACED THAT PIECES BUT STILL IT DOESNOT WORK.                           This is to inform that I Raksha Gupta, mobile no [protected] is registered user with Voltas.I purchased a window A/C Model- Vertis Elite, Size-1.5 ton, Power Saver-2 from Voltas last year on 19/06/2011.

                          I suppose as per your warranty scheme you provide 2 free services which are to be availed once before 6 months and second before 1 year.

                          Therefore my second free service was due with Voltas for which I’ve been complaining since 29th May 2012(before the expiry of my 2nd free service} . I made 7 complaints till 15th June 2012 for which I’ve been given a complaint number I.e. (12MY2908665). Every time I make a call I was promised that so and so technician will reach me in next 24 hours, but nothing happened like that.

                          After so many days I found that the compressor of my A/C was not working properly, so once again I registered my complaint with Voltas (complaint number 12JL1604162) regarding the faulty compressor and service. And finally after so much struggle a Voltas technician arrived and after configuring the problem he came up to this thing that the problem in compressor is due to service and denies do give the free service of mine even after mentioning the complaint no and repeatative conversation with Voltas customer care executives. Moreover he was behaving badly and in abusive manner too.

                          I request you to kindly take some action and process my complaint further and provide me all those services that I deserve. Hope to see a positive attitude from your side.

                            Hello!!

                            I had bought a Voltas split 2 ton AC last year on 28.09.2011. The
                            first service happened in June this year on 03.06.2012 after my
                            complaint . The complaint number given to me was 12JU0207591. The
                            report after the first service ( service report number - 610 ) said
                            that the gas content is on the lower side and someone from Voltas will
                            be coming in the next two days to address the problem. No one came
                            till date. Its been almost 45 days since that visit. Post that I made
                            a complaint again on 14.07.2012 . The complaint number given was
                            12L1400461. Someone came last night at 9.30 pm and gave the assurance
                            that he would come the next day i.e today morning in between 11 to 12
                            noon and do the needful. He prepared the report saying that the gas
                            charge not done and will be done the next day.

                            No one has come till now and now . The concerned person Manoj ( the
                            service person ) allocated some other jobs for today to the
                            technicians and despite the assurance my work has been left
                            unattended. Now I am being told after the followup that the same will
                            be done on Wednesday.

                            This is absolutely not acceptable by any standards. It should not be
                            taking 5 days for these small jobs and that too in the peak season.
                            And moreover I would also want to highlight the rude and arrogant
                            behaviour of Manoj Kumar . Such kind of misbehaviour is not
                            acceptable in customer service.

                            I request you to take an immediate action in this case and also
                            ensure that the customers do not suffer because of such erratic
                            behaviour of the service staff.

                              Got 1.5 Platinum Voltas Window AC purchased on 05th July 12 which got shipped on 07th July with missing remote, missing user nmanual, missing warranty card and missing Tray. One of the Grills is also broken that controlls the Air Flow. Called the dealer and Voltas customer care number of times however noone is bothered to help. Please help to get this fixed.

                                I had bought a voltas ac from Union Radio, Sadar Bazar, jalandhar cantt in jun 2011. On 15 May 2012 I rang up the toll free no of the co and asked for the free service as well as check up since the product was within the warranty period( 1 yr). My complaint no as given was 12MY1500739. I got a call from local rep asking for the address and he assured me of the work. however despite waiting for 7 days when no one came i again spoke to the toll free no who apologised and assured action. like this i spoke twice again to the toll free no over next one month. this time they told me that as per their records their rep has confirmed that he visited the house and the complaint has been attended to by some other agency. I spoke to the supervisor at toll free and told them that their rep should have taken in writing from me as also taken the free service leaf from the booklet in case the work was done. HOW EVER ACTUALLY NO ONE VISITED MY HOUSE. the supvr assured me of redressal however kept fighting for more than month but got no response. FINALLY ON 27 JU I WROTE a mail to the co at [protected]@tata-bss.com giving out details. i got a mail back saying that my complaint no 12 JU0500358 is attended to as per records and is closed. they also asked me to confirm if the fact was correct so that they can take remedial action. THE COMPLAINT NO REF WAS WRONG, HOWEVER i wrote back saying that no one has attended my complaint. i again reminded them after 3-4 days but till date have got no communication from the co nor have they repaired my ac.

                                may i like to bring out that such reputd co like TATAS are showing utter disregard to consumer rights. they should be penelised heavily and made to pay punitive fines. i dont look for the money and such fines can be deposited in PM relief fund but the co should feel the pinch of ignoring consumer rights. all i want is repair to my ac.

                                Voltas AC — No Servicing

                                my Voltas Vertis 1.0 Ton AC was purchased on 27 March 2010. Due to missing part at the time of installation the ac was creating trouble and is not functioning properly. A complaint was registered with Voltas on 16 th June 2010 by complaint No.10JU1600060. After that I have reminded the compaNY AT LEAST 6 TIMES BUT TILL NOW THERE IS NO RESPONSE.I have appliances of many companies but this is the worst ever experience from any company.

                                I still do not understand why a TATA owned company is functioning like this.

                                This is regarding the voltas air conditioner Versa Platinum Sr No 4010970A10D001424 which was purchased on[protected] from the Authorised dealers Nijhawan Electronics located at Shyam Park Extn Sahibabad Ghaziabad (up).after purchasing no one initate to visit for the service of the mentioned Air condition even after several reminders even several call logged no one took the pain for service of the mentioned aircondition we have last interaction with Mr Attul, Neeraj and Rahul from customer care voltas[protected], 2856803) last call logged on[protected] approx.In which they have always sayings that we will definately sent the service Engineer but no one visit till date i beleive voltas brand and employees are so proffesionl that they schould n"t give wrong commitment to the customers
                                I have complained for not functioning of My 1 Ton window ac almost 5 days back. Now despite of calling 5 time daily almost we are given same reply that person is not available, or The service person is on the way.

                                How long does it really take to come 2 km from the showroon.
                                Same type of complaint was there when i purchased 1.5 ton split ac for my office. they Delivered tythe ac but installation was done after 4-5 days.

                                VOLTAS has got the worst consumer satisfaction.WORST ever situation from past 4 years what we had experienced.
                                Dear TATA;s - We respect the name but VOLTAS has not made life SIMPLE- Its delicate. Please change your ADD;s

                                VOLTAS — not getting free services

                                Inspite of sevral reminder thourgh their so called customer care number and also done online complain but i am not getting the free services. As now the one year is complite they demand 450 rs for the services. And also the behaviour of their service center is very rude.

                                  We bought 02 Voltas ACs in April 2007 which had a warranty of 05 years. We called Voltas for servicing in March 2012 Their engineer came and serviced both the ACs but 01 Acs started giving lot of trouble. After making atleast 20 calls the engineer was sent again ( we have to pay Rs 350 /- for their every visit) and fixed it temporarily but again there was no cooling. We then paid another 3,000 rupees for gas filling etc in June 2012 but after some time same problem started of no cooling. We were then asked to replace or repair our stabilizer which was also done by us but of no use.

                                  Again after lot of shouting they sent the engineer back in June 2012 who took the AC with him .Today after 01 month they are not returning the AC and without even asking us they are now saying that they have replaced the compressor which was under warranty till April 2012 and now they have raised a bill of Rs.9000/- ,which is not acceptable to use.

                                  We have been requesting them to return the Ac without the compressor but to no avail. How can Voltas service center blackmail their clients like this and now not even replying to our phone calls.

Regarding the same I had also contacted Mr. Kinjal Mehta(Sales Manager) But till date I have not got any reponse from the company. the complaint is regarding Front Panel Damage.                                       I had bought a water cooler from a local dealer in August 2011 and from than till date i have four times major leakage problems. It is a hospital and really it is very very tough to handle things.                                         Cooling problem with my newly purchased Voltas window AC

                                        Description:
                                        I have been facing cooling issue with my newly purchased voltas window 1.5 Ac. Details of the the complaints logged in so far:

                                        1> 12JU1803398 logged on 18th June 2012 : The mentioned complaint has been closed stating the there was no response from the customer, irony here is that a engineer with contact no [protected], did speak to me & visit my place for the rectification on 20th June afternoon. Upon being informed that there is no electricity & being requested by my parents to revisit after a he misbehaved used loose words with them. He also misbhaved with me over the phone & the problem was never rectified.

                                        I am unable to understand that how can a engineer be so rude & use harsh words with customers & despite all this call gets closed on the grounds that there is no response from the customer.

                                        2> 12JU2307097 logged on 23rd June 2012 : Its been 5 days now and the mentioned complaint has not been attended so far despite the fact that I am repeatedly following up with your call center about the complaint. Last night I have a call with TL - Tiruptati & briefed him about the problem & requested him to get this attended by today without fail, has not resulted so far as no one has either tried contacting or reaching my place.

                                        I am really surprised to see the kind of services you guys extend to the customers & the quality your engineers maintain when reaching out to the customers. The complaint stands unattended so far....
