I made a very bad decision to have purchased Voltas Vertis Plus 1&½ Ton Split AC from a large shop in Ashok Vihar New Delhi, in April 2011 and it was installed in the end of April 2011.

I had many doubts about the unit and felt there were manufacturing defects which were not cleared.

The franchise who runs servicing centre does not care about the customer’s complaints and about the poor service they give.

In three months of purchase, four or five major defects occurred and the cooling was ineffective.

Only in October 2011 the gas refill took place and by that time winter was about to set in and did not use till this year April end.

In this month of May, I would have used AC for 10 days or so,(2 to 3 hours/day) and unfortunately for me the fan blade in the compressor unit got damaged on[protected].

A complaint was registered but technician was sent only on 13th May 2012, that too he came casually without bringing any fan blade unit with him.

Today I am told the technician may visit us hopefully with a fan blade unit to be fixed in the compressor unit.

I am quite unhappy with Voltas servicing centre and I do not advise for any one to go for this brand as they do not care a customer.

May be they are minting money on a large scale and so they hardly bother about anyone.

    I have purchased a split ac 1.5 ton from Shanti electronics(faridabad) on 6th april 2012.After a month from the day of purchase my air conditioner does not give the proper cooling,for the same complaint logged on 4th may no is 12my0401331. Engineer of the company has visited our home and said the installation has not done properly since we have purchased the product from Shanti and they have sent the person for installation from the company,So why the installation not done properly????? Seconly the refilling was done on 5th may and after 6-8 hours the same problem reoccure??????.on 7th may 2012 again Engineer has come and said your gas was leaked after 2 days from the complaint gas was again refilled on 9th may 2012.on 11th may the same problem occure (no cooling )

    Volta is the product of TATA and TATA is known for his quality and servies I have not found the quality of the product, as well as the service the product is not good for me since I have invested lot of money as your area manager ,your engg and your agent all does not have the scene of handling customer and also I have not got the kind of cooling excepted of split ac So kindly replace this split ac or refund my complete money.

      We have purchased your window ac and our compressor is in guarantee.we have registered a complaint in your centre at powermat electronic-shop no.32 uday singh palace,naharpur,sector-7,rohini,delhi-85 .our call slip no is 12my0208578.they have given us a very poor response.they have picked our ac from our place as they told us to change the compressor in guarantee.they take 4-5 days to return our ac with huge pressure from us and now they have not changed the compressor.they fitted our ac in our house which is in same condition as before complaint and now they will take our ac and then take 2 more days.they are making fool o[censored]s (as voltas is a very reputed company we were expecting a good response from it but we have 2-3 voltas ac in our house and they are not givgood service.if we were aware that its service is like this we had not purchased voltas ac.

      VOLTAS — non working of compressor

      we had purchased air conditioner from ganpati electronics on april 6 ,2012 but its compressor is not working. but even after our various calls to the seller no one is coming to check it out.

      I have complaint to customer care many time compressor of my AC is not working,
      and there no response from your side.

      I registered a complaint on 21st May, 2015 at the customer care number which is [protected], complaint no. [protected] as my compressor was going on and off hence there was no cooling. On 22nd May, 2015 the technitican came to check the AC and I was told that the compressor needs to be changed. I was given a period of 3-4 working days for the replacement of my compressor.

      Everytime I call on the customer care number either your voltas advisor disconnects my call or I am given fake promises that compressor would be replaced in a day which never happens and again I have to follow up. I even did chase the service centre people (Rahul) but everyday I am told that the compressor is not in stock so wait for 5 more days. I mean really?

      I have never seen such a bad customer service where you are fooled and given lame excuses. In the temperature of 47 degrees you expect me to wait for 5 more days? I bought voltas thinking it is a good brand but looking at the kind of service and the responses that I have got I would never again buy anything from this brand and would suggest other people to do the same.

      It has not even been an year that i bought this AC and my compressor stoped working, on the other hand when i expect you people to fix the probolem I am given lame excuses.

        This is regarding the pathetic condition and irresponsible behaviour of voltas customer care. They did not even understand the customer situation .Whenever I called the got only one response that "ap nischint rahiye kal tak humare technician ap tak aa jayenge". I don't even know that they even do anything or not regarding my complaint. Actually the issue is as below


        I have purchased Voltas Window 1.5 ton elite ac on 30th may 2012 and lodged a compliant on 5th may 2012 (12MY0501957) but till 12th night no body visited to my place and resolved the issue .Customer care executive are so irresponsilble and ill behaved to explain. I want the my issue to be resolved asap ,else I will be taking legal action by visiting consumer court personaly .They have commited their SLA to be 24 hrs. I also want some action to be taken on below customer care executive and the technician and inform me about the action taken

        As I did not get any proper response from them, hence I am writing in mail to you all so that my issue can be resolved. I have purchased the ac as I work in night shift and I have to sleep at day time with peace but due to this I haven't slept calmly for so many days.
        Also if these people can't provide the resolution in 24hrs then why to commit to customers. Recently I visited so many forum on which customer have submiited their complaint. All are suffering from same issue.

          1- BACK SIDE RUBBER IS NOT HERE ,SERVICE CENTRE APPLY QUICK FIX,HOW COULD I CLEAN THE DISPENSER.
          2- ALL THE PRODUCT IS DIRTY NOT CLEAN Or Servicing. PRODUCT CHASIS WERE NOT SET AGGOUDING TO PRODUCT.
          PLS Note – Today on Dated[protected], I call directly to Mr Sanjeev {Head of Powermat Electronic}on morning 9.40 Am ,But I am very Shocking when I knew that The another person is receiving the call in Place Mr.Sanjeev And Accepted her the real presence Of Mr.Sanjeev.So Such A Kind of Missuse of powers is in Powermat Electronic.HOW COULD THE CUSTOMERS SATISFY WITH VOLTAS INDIA.

          We are working in Bhiwandi as power distribution franchisee from last 4 years. And from the commencement phase we are purchasing aircondtioners from Voltas for our different offices but at the beginning of purchase they are give the proper feedbacks for the complaints but after three months they never respond you till you warranty periods over. Recently we purchased cassette units from them and within 6 months all the 06 units are faulty and the complaint regarding same will be registered with Voltas India in last month but till the date no response received from them. We are experienced very awful after sales services from them and suggest everyone if you want to purchased A.C then never go for Voltas.

            I had bought a new airconditioner on 11.02.2012 Voltas Elite. On the first day of its operation the AC did not cool. I reported the matter with the company vide complaint no. 12MY0500289 dated 05.05.2012. The AC has not been addressed till date and I am forced to bear the heat of the cruel summers despite spending huge amount on the AC.

            Several calls to company has fallen on deaf ears.

            I recommend not to trust TATA anymore. It has also degraded in service as the industry norms.

            voltas window ac. — no working proper

            dear sir ,
            I purchase a voltas window at[protected].( 1 tone), and having prob in it.
            i complained it at customer care at[protected], complaint no is 1 mr- 2901902, but yet there is no responce.

            pls tell me as earlier as possible
            2 nos. Voltas Window AC with Remote of 1.5 te capacity each purchased from Arvee Electronics, 43/5, Community Centre, East of Kailash, New Delhi-110065 on 10th May, 2009. Till date, neither the dealer nor company bothered to serviced the Airconditioners with the result that the same are not working. I have used both the Airconditioners for hardly a week in the month of May in 2009. I had requested the dealer but he is replying that he can only make a complaint to Voltas. Neither Voltas bothered to get the AC in working condition nor the dealer. Now, I am left with lodging a claim with Consumer Court to get ACs replaced with other brand of ACs
            My customer ID is c2004221 i had put in a request for my 1.5 ton windows ac in april that it is not giving proper cooling to which the service technician visited on 7th april and said there is some problem and the unit needs to be taken to service center and charged me 1800rs for the rectification of the problem.

            The aircon worked fine for a month and again stopped giving proper cooling in may to which I again raised a complaint (ref:11my2101671) on 21st may (I had written a mail to you for this) to which after numerous followups for the technician visited after 3-4 days he rectified it and said it will work properly now.

            But the now in a month's time the aircon has stopped cooling again!!!! I have lodged a complaint again (ref:11ju2304761)

            Am I supposed to get it rectified every month for the same problem????
            two weeks ago i purchased voltas 1.5 split ac from mahajan electronics in rajouri garden.next day my ac was installed at my home...after that when i switched of the ac it was not working properly.i called voltas company and they send there workers to see the ac.but then they told that all the things are fine.ac is working properly.but when i switch on the ac water comes from indoor unit like its raining in the room and voltas is not listening us..we want a exchange of this product..
            We purchased Voltas 1.5 ton Window AC on 7th june 2012 . But all of sudden it ceased to work. A complaint was registered on 13.06.2013 on customer care no. (complaint no. - 13M41308121. Technician visited after one more reminder to customer care. He said there is some fault in som plate and took that plate for repair. The after continuous follow up and phone calls, he returned with repaired plate but still AC did not function. And the technician did not visit again. Technician name is (BALJEET SANDHU PH NO- [protected] FROM MANDI KALANWALI). He is very non cooperative and not responding to our phone calls now. Even customer care executives have indifferent attitude towards our complain. Customer care executive named SACHIN CHAUHAN&#039;s response was non satisfactory. We are highly disappointed and looking forward to positive response. Otherwise only resort available to us will be filing a consumer court case.
            I would like to inform you that I have purchase Voltas window 1.5T AC from Better deals B-3, B-1 block Janak Puri New Delhi-110058.

            dated 19-june-2012 & installed at my residence, but window AC is not cooling Properly since installation.

            I have complaint on 19-may-12013.my complaint no is -13my19050. but no one solve this problem.

            to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I would never buy the product of TATA in my whole life.

            My humble request, please solve this issue either replace AC machine or make correction if required any.

            I had registered a complain regarding short cooling of split AC viz complain No-[protected] on dt 20/05/2014. Still problem is not shorted out.
            VOLTAS 182 DYI WINDOW AC BOUGHT ON MAY 3RD 2014, ITS COMPRESSOR STOPS WORKING BY ITSELF AND STARTS ON ITS OWN EVEN BEFORE COMING DOWN TO THE SET TEMPRATURE. SERVICE REQUEST # [protected] WAS LOGGED ON JUNE 6TH HOWEVER THE TECHNICIAN SENT WAS NOT ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE ISSUE. EARLIER HE SAID THAT THE VOLTAGE STABLIZER HAS A PROBLEM HOWEVER WHEN I GAVE HIM ANOTHER STABLIZER AND THE PROBLEM DID NOT FIX, HE SAID THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH A CAPACITOR INSIDE AC AND HE CHANGED THE SAME BUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. SINCE THEN HE HAS STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY PHONE CALLS.

            I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE AND EVERYTIME THEY HAVE THE SAME ANSWER THAT THE COMPLAINT IS SENT TO A SENIOR TECHNICIAN AND HE WILL CALL ME, GOD KNOWS WHEN.

            PLEASE REFUND ME MY MONEY
            voltas 182 dyi window ac bought on may 3rd 2014, its compressor stops working by itself and starts on its own even before coming down to the set temprature. service request # [protected] was logged on june 6th however the technician sent was not able to identify the issue. earlier he said that the voltage stablizer has a problem however when i gave him another stablizer and the problem did not fix, he said that the problem is with a capacitor inside ac and he changed the same but the problem still persists. since then he has stopped responding to my phone calls. i have been calling the customer care and everytime they have the same answer that the complaint is sent to a senior technician and he will call me, god knows when.please refund me my money
            I am I bought voltas 1.5ton split a.c.from my city (Hisar, Haryana., 125001) from Authorized dealer.On 14th June I called my first service. Because I was having some issues with my auto cut. The Technician name Pawan came to my home without any required instruments and said to me that this is related to sensor
            issue. he will come again with sensor. After 2 days he came again with sensor and without any test he fix that and leave from my house. He even not feel the requirement to on the power. The issue remain same. After one week he came for diagnose and saying that my PCB board is not working need to replace the part
            He already take 10-15 days to diagnose the problem.
            1st Visit on 14th June. Not Even Diagnose.

            2nd Visit on 17th June. Technician came and replaced sensor. He even not feel the requirement to check the sensor working or not. When I ask why are you not checking technician name Pawan said that the is already late he has to go on other service.

            3rd Visit on 26th June. Technician name Sunil kumar came again for diagnose and said to me that my Ac PCB board have some fault. It will replaced in one week.

            4th Visit on 7th July. Technician name Sunil Kumar and pawan came to my house with new PCB board. Now
            they are saying that PCB is not same like installed in my ac. Again the gone without fixing the issue.

            Today 7th July: Issue still the same like 14th June.

            This month is full of hot weather. Can you please clear how I manage. I installed my new AC and when I need it most the whole season going without using It.

            I am really frustrated right now with the service given by Mr. Wadhwa (Service center manager contact: [protected]). Everytime when i call him related to my service issue. The manager only reply that call to customer care not to me.

            I will be thankful to you If you fix my issue ASAP.

            I am really surprised that there is no Action taken against the technician on their worst service. The diagnose the issue in almost 15 days.

            Please Do the needful. I need replacement of my AC

            I bought voltas 1.5ton split a.c.from my city (Hisar, Haryana., 125001) from Authorized dealer.

            On 14th June I called my first service. Because I was having some issues with my auto cut. The Technician name Pawan came to my home without any required instruments and said to me that this is related to sensor issue. he will come again with sensor.

            after 2 days he came again with sensor and without any test he fix that and leave from my house. He even not feel the requirement to on the power. The issue remain same. After one week he came for diagnose and saying that my PCB board is not working need to replace the part

            He already take 10-15 days to diagnose the problem.

            1st Visit on 14th June. Not Even Diagnose.

            2nd Visit on 17th June. Technician came and replaced sensor. He even not feel the requirement to check the sensor working or not. When I ask why are you not checking technician name Pawan said that the is already late he has to go on other service.

            3rd Visit on 26th June. Technician name Sunil kumar came again for diagnose and said to me that my Ac PCB board have some fault. It will replaced in one weel

            4th Visit on 7th July. Technician name Sunil Kumar and pawan came to my house with new PCB board. Now they are saying that PCB is not same like installed in my ac. Again the gone without fixing the issue.

            5th Visit on 10th July: They tried to install new PCB board but no result found. Issue still remain same.

            6th Visit on 11th July: They replaced another board but this time AC temperature not coming less than 29 degree. No Auto cut functionality working.

            One month complete but no result found

            This month is full of hot weather. Can you please clear how I manage. I installed my new AC and when I need it most the whole season going without using It.


            I am really frustrated right now with the service given by Mr. Wadhwa (Service center manager contact: [protected]). Everytime when i call him related to my service issue. The manager only reply that call to customer care not to me.

            I will be thankful to you If you fix my issue ASAP.

            I am really surprised that there is no Action taken against the technician on their worst service. The diagnose the issue in almost 15 days.

            I am facing a lot of problems while getting services from voltas. From last two weeks i am continuously following up with voltas customer care and executives but till now problem has not been resolved. In starting persoN was not turning Up to check the ac...8 days before he has taken the panel with him and confirmed he will do the needful in one working day...but till date person has not turned up to resolve it...every time i call up the customer care they give a service request no and close it after one day without resolving it...i simply do not understand what kind of services being a customer i am getting...i have kept too much patience before writing a complaint...kindly look into the matter on urgent basis...

            Deficiency in service

            The only good job they do is arrive before time but don't possess full knowledge rather ask us to complaint in electricity board and also charges 400 rupees which is too costly

              I had purchased VOLTAZ AC , 1.5 ton , 5 star from Reliance Digital,ASRAONagar,Hyderabad on 18th March,2012.Within few days we observed that there had been very low cooling even though temperature is maintained at 16 degree celcius.We had raised srevice requests to Reliance Digital.They sent the technicians, they reported that the gas was empty.They filled in the gas and the problem was resolved.The same problem-of low cooling recurred.We again raised the request.The technicians said that the ac mode is not set properly. We observed that even after changing ac mode,cooling is still low.We have reraised the request. The technicians say that cooling is fine.Although any person who has AC at his home for years can identify that the AC is not functioning properly.I think technicians have never used AC.They come with a non-reliable thermometer and show us the thermometer readings and go away.They always say that they want to open the AC.We do not let them open the AC.We want a replacement.Whole summer has passed by just raising request.Reliance Digital is a sick dealer and is extremely good at duping people.Why would i let a technician open a new product.If there is something wrongs,things have to be replaced.Customer satisfaction is a big zero here.

              I had purchased 1.5 tonne window AC (Vertis Premium, sl.no. 4010875M08B005396) on 23/04/08 through M/s P.K.Electronics, Aligarh(UP) vide bill no.- 072. I have made my complaint to M/s P.K.Electonics on 12.04.09 regarding low cooling and free servicing. But, till date no person has attended my AC.

                Hello Sir/Madam,

                I am Karthik Rajan from Chennai, Purasawalkam. Recently say a month back, I bought a voltas split a/c (platina 1.5 ton - 4 star) from Rathna Stores (Purasawalkam). From day one, I am having problems with it, almost three times the service people came and fixed up the problem, however we are still continuing to experience problems. Not sure if there is a gas leakage problem, whenever the A/C is switched on, within 10 to 15 mins, water starts leaking from the vent like a tap is open. After sales service is pathetic, they dont give a clear picture why this is happening.

                My complaint # with Voltas support is 12AP3005738.

                I would be more than happy if the a/c is replaced or refunded.

                voltas platina split AC (1.5 ton) — voltas

                dear sir,

                I have purchased new Voltas Plantina Split AC (1.5 Tons) on[protected] from A.K. Electronics (Bhajanpura). When I purchased this a/c think so that this a/c company is best & Reliable Company of India but this a/c is not working on the date purchased. I logged complained to Dealer after complaint some engineers come my house and look this a/c and they said some parts of a/c manufacturing defective and defected parts come from company, but not say when come. I think that part of this a/c come after spending Summer? I requested that My A/c repleced soon as soon & solve problem.

                          on 04/04/2012 we had rang up to Voltas customer care and registered complaint against our AC compressor problem, they have intimated to IGLOO Cooling Solutions (Voltas Franchisee) located at Chetpet, They spoke nicely and took the machine and serviced and they also spoke nicely that they will do installation free if we take up AMC for Rs.2250, and we have paid the same, The company returned the AC unit seviced, but they have not installed yet. We have been contacting with the company every day they are given some reasons or the other, till now they have not fixed the unit, we don't know whether they have serviced the unit or not.

                          The Cheats include one Prasanth (they call him as the owner of the company), and the other one Sathish (so called the manager), allways their number will be switched off or they will not pickup the call if i call them.

                          And When contacted Voltas Customer Care, They don't know whether the company is a franchisee or not, this is a big joke, If they are not able to trace the franchisee company, i don't know how they will handle the customers.

                          I have been cheated with this Franchisee company.

                                I have purchased one VOLTAS split ac from PAI SALES BEJAI, MANGALORE on 1st march'11 and the same has been installed by a voltas authorized service by next day, surprisingly said AC is stopped working within two months, Immediately I contacted the dealer, they sent the service center and repaired by simply telling gas leakage and it happens some times. Afterwards said ac was not used for a long time due to climatic condition till march 3rd '12, surprisingly found that said ac is having same problem, immediately I called dealer,same has been repeated,service man came and told it is a ac fault,so better to inform voltas, next voltas people came and said it is a service center fault, they have to repair, finally the status is same till today. my registration with voltas, i.e., customer id C2204935, call no.12MR1504702, I want immediate repair from service center or VOLTAS.

                                I purchased voltas vertis classic 2.0 ton on 24th/3/2012 from kalpana electronics Delhi, Laxmi Nagar

                                After launching several complaints service engineer figured out some manufacturing defect in the outdoor unit .Logically the outdoor unit should be changed as its a manufacturing defect and we have not used AC at all till date . The service engineer and dealer want us to send the unit to their service center and repair the same . but my question is why would i want to but a defective piece when i paid for new one .?

                                Please take necessary action and i request to please replace my unit ASAP . This is my first and worst experience with VOLTAS . I thought it to be a perfect product being a product of TATA however this is a nightmare to me .

                                  I have purchased one Voltas split ac on 1st march'11in PAI SALES Bejai, Mangalore and same has been installed in next day by service center. within two months ac was not working and same was repaired by service center and informed me that there is a gas leakage, it happens some times and rectified. Due to the monsoon and and winter season we did not operate the ac for a long time, i.e., till end of feb.'12. In first week of march'12 we operated the ac due to the real climatic condition, unfortunately found that ac is completely halt with the same condition which I had in within two months of purchase.I called the dealer and service centre, as per service center his reply is, ac is a fault one. Then registered a complaint with voltas, no. 12MR1504702, customer id is C2204935, immediately after submitting complaint, voltas representatives arrived and inspected the equipment and told that not a machine fault, service center problem.
                                  Above said ac is not utilized more than 100hrs in total, so here with request you to repair the same immediately.
                                  I am a general manager working in integrated steel plant, located in west Bengal, in my organisation we have many split Voltas ac's which is working well and good.

                                    The installation has been outsourced to incompetent technicians.They came to install the AC (Wahid)without proper equipments resulting in gas leakage withing 15 days of installation. The technicial of voltas filled in gas and now after 6 months again the gas has leaked.
                                    It is with great disappointment i have to complain as i have purchased VOLTAS only because people recommended and said it is one of the finest acs . But Iam told by the technicial that the cost to fill the gas next time after the warranty period is rs.3500. But why should i pay for a technicials fault. kindly deduct from their services.
                                    I am in india sometimes for 3 months , i havent used this ac much , just occasionally. Now since midJAN i have lived in india , and have used the ac sparingly , we have begin using the ac 10 ago on a regular basis and this is what we face again. The technician came in today and has decided to take the unit with him tomorrow for testing. But unfortunately , i am afraid this story will not end here , the techinicial is from the same service station. So within the next few months a gas leakage is possible and then i have to pay for it , i dont understand why should i. Please look into the matter as this isnt fair to us as customers. My warranty period is almost coming to the end of its term. I feel cheated by the service center.

                                        I bought a split ac voltas in march 2011. The model is 1.50 vertis premium split ac. The ac had issues from day one. Now the compressor is refusing to start and my effort to get rponsefrom the service people did not yield any result.

                                        I have Been calling [protected] the number given for service. These people do anything other than service. I tried at least a dozen times and ten out of twelve were just a waste of time. The person who attends the phone just tells me that they are sending a man but do not care to send. Majority of the times he refuses to pick up the phone. Can anyone help me get my ac repaired. It is still in warranty period.
