We have purchased one Voltas window AC on18/06/2009.In Last summer it was running satisfactory, but now when we tried to run this AC on21/06/2010, it's not running. Then we have complaint to the Voltas customer care office , toll free no[protected], the engineer had not come . But three or four days passed away, nobody came to see the problem . When we have complint again, no body can response. we request you to please look into this matter, as we are suffering very much problem . complian no >10ju2104905

Voltas, Ltd — GAS LEAKAGE PROBLEM

DEAR SIR ,
I PURCHASE A NEW SPLIT AC OF VOLTAS ON 01/04/2010 , AT FIRST THERE ARE SOME MINOR FAULTS IN AC SUCH AS SWING MOTOR REPLACEMENT , COOLING PROBLEM ETC. BUT NOW THE GAS IS LEAKING , SO KINDLY REPLACE MY AC AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . MY COMPAINT NO. IS 10JU2301207 .

    1. That I purchased Voltas 0.75 Split A.C on 10.04.2010 from Sagar Electronic s Muthi Jammu (Dealer)

    2. That the above said AC purchased by me did not functioning properly, as such I approached the dealer on 13.04.2010, who advised me to lodge a toll free complaint on Voltas service. I lodged several complaints from that day some of the numbers are as: 10AP1004686, 10MY2801934, 10JU2104698 and etc.

    3. That after the period fof 3 days instead of repairs the service Engg. Deputed by service centre MS Coolex Refrigeration’s Talab Tilloo Jammu, Service Engg. Says that there is minor problem and he will rectify it but not rectified and he left from home and says I will come tomorrow. I think in my opinion he did understand what is the problem in it, I narrate the whole story to dealer and at the time dealer make phone call to I./c Service Centre why you did not rectify the problem, Service Centre I/c says tomarrow he will send a Sr. Tech. and rectify the problem but all is in vain till date.

    4. I again approached the dealer after 3 days requested them to re tify the problem or replace the unit, dealer ensured me that he do something, he again call Service Centre on phone fro rectification of the fault, one same day Service Engg. Attended the cal and said AC has the gas leakage and are unable to repair it as the Head Service Engg. Was not available on that day. After two days Head Service Engg checked and says there is no gas problem and left.

    5. That I had visited the dealer at 30 times also he registered the complaint on toll free No. for getting the AC repaired by till date Co./Service Centre is unable to get the AC repaired or was not given any replacement of A. C. by company / dealer.

    6. In the meantime my elder brother met a serious road accident he need cooling for his health as advised by the Doctor, at present he is on bed rest, if any thing happen to him due heat Co. is sole responsible for that.

    7. On 21st of June 2010 I again visited to dealer he again registered call on toll free No. and also narrate the whole story Mr. Vijay Sharma Branch Office Chandigarh on phone and also distribute but all in vain.

    Now please take the action against irresponsible person of Voltas Service Division.

    Its really very bad for leading A.C company like Voltas, Actually i got the same problem for my A.c also, but no action was taken by these company service persons.So i suggest first you please arrange your own technician for the issues and now i suggest Voltas company please come with there new Staff for whole Jammu, if not possible please close there whole offices of voltas from here that will be good benfit to Voltas Company, as these irresponsible Bosses and Engineers make the image of Voltas like a beggar only with one Coin.

    I am really thankful to you, as it reminds me my problem and i am able to committee for this issue as i was already suffered by these Voltas Gentle mans.
    i have purchase the voltas sprit ac 2 ton capacity at girias investment pvt ltd purchase date is 04/04/2010 my bill no is 26951 in the sprit ac is more prpblem i have comlplient at girias ( chennai) annanagar 4/9/2010 & 06/09/2010 & 08/09/2010 there is no responseable what are you going to do my complient sent me the reply

      I had purchased a VOLTAS A/C 2 years back from an Electronics Store in Laxmi Nagar. The A/C was working fine for 2 years , and then it started giving problems of non cooling intermittently. I called up the VOLTAS Service Call Center and a representative from Raj Air Conditioning Company, S-25, Shalimar Garden Extn - 1, Ghaziabad ( U.P ) came and he checked the A/C and said that thermostat is not functioning plus compressor is also functioning , so i have to take the A/C to the workshop and the estimated expediture would be Rs 3100 and it would be repaired in 1 day. 1 day got over, and then we started calling the Service Center again , then kept on saying it will be delivered in 2 hrs and likewise , 2 days passed . Then on further intensive calling and arguments with the Owner of Raj Air conditioning , he returned back the A/C and charged Rs 2800 for repairing . When we switched on the A/C , it was in the same condition , as it was given for repair . Same Problem of Intermittent Cooling . This is the customer service Voltas is providing , JUST FOOLING CUSTOMERS.....CHARGING MONEY and NOT DOING ANYTHING ......THIS IS TOTAL FRAUD . SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE AGAINST IT ..

      I am now left with no option . Outside Temperature is 46 Celsius , have paid money for repair for A/C , but its still non functional . WHAT I CAN DO AS A CUSTOMER ? PLEASE HELP....

        Dear Mr. Ishaat Hussain & Mr. A Soni

        I bought a VOLTAS Window AC yesterday (22.06.2010) from M/S Anand Electroniks, Kalkaji, New Delhi, who is an authorized dealer for Voltas products. The model in 1.5 Ton Voltas Vertis Platina (3 star rating).

        But I was shocked to find that after completing all the installation works, the AC is not working. The fan which is supposed to blow the cool air is not working at all.

        After trusting many of my friends and colleagues, I chose to buy Voltas product. But the product quality is not at all good. First time not working. This is really disgusting. I do not know how the products are manufactured at your manufacturing plant. This is the worst investment of my life that I have ever done. Moreover, your service engineer has also not attended inspite of my case being taken on the top most priority.

        Please check your product quality first & provide me with an OK AC. I hope you understand the term "OK".

          i have voltas vertis plus g 1.5 ton split ac..i called the customer care for the demo,but the executive that came for demo didn't know anything about that product and even they didn't told anything about filters because filters also needs to be cleaned now for effective cooling. they told that they don't have adequate training for that ,and after that they went.after that i have called customer care two times for demo service..but no one came.so i want you to send the executive that knows everything about this vertis plus g model and can give demo to the earliest,failing which i have to move to the consumer court.

            I am from Chennai. My Voltas Split AC remote and sensor had been taken to Voltas service center in Chennai Chetpet on 20th April 2010 by Voltas so called Engineer informing that it will be returned back within 3 days. Till today (17th June 2010) I have not got it back. I must have made a minimum of 150 calls to the service center for getting it back. When ever I call someone will pick and provide different answers like it will be sent soon, engineer is on the way with remote etc etc. The engineer has not reached yet. I think he is coming by walk from Antartica to give the remote to me. The so called Manager in that office one Mr. Prashant will never picks up phone. Once when I checked the route to visit the Voltas Service center, the person who attended the phone did not provide stating that even if you come you will not get it then why should you come?? This is the worst service experiance in my life. So pathetic, Lethargic and irresponsible. My baby girl who is 3 months old has got fever since we could not adjust the AC temperature or set timer. This sort of service level will spoil the reputation of the Voltas. I will never ever suggest anyone to buy this product due to this. Voltas should keep up their service level upto the customers expectation and suggest not to outsource it to any 3rd parties who doesnt have capability. I was wondering how long it will take to get my AC repaired if I face a problem in compressor or so (An year???). I do not know whom to contact and what to do to escalate this to some senior officials in Voltas. The Chennai Voltas Service Center(Chetpet) number is[protected]. Service report No. is 91908 and call number is 18748. The Call number from Voltas call center is 10AP1605806. If anyone knows how to escalate please help.

            To whom so ever cocerned
            I had bought a voltas split air conditioner. Something went wrong to its remote. We had called a mechanic from your authorised service center , they told us either you get the remote changed or get it repaired. As per his information the new remote was readily available and repairing of the old one was going to take time.So we opted for the new remote. But its a sorry state of affair that its been more than 15 days we havnt got our new remort. After making so many so calls and visting to your servicr center , the people have turned deaf to our complain, infact they are so rude.
            May be you can understand by doing so your are getting a bad name to your brand , as I have never experienced such kind of inefficient after sales services with any other brand before. I hope you look into this matter and take some stern actions . I thought of complaining to the consumer forum but then I thought may be you are also unaware of the bad aftersales services at your authorised service centers.

              I here by state that I am Mohit Jindal and I had bought Vertis plus window AC (1.5 Tonne) of Voltas Company From M/S.GOYAL RADIOS,Sangrur City last year in the month of June,2009 on my name. The AC has worked well for one year. This year the AC is not working properly and I am facing so many problems due to this. Moreover the remote and touch screen buttons of the AC are not working well.                   WE HAD PURCHASED A COLD AND HOT WATER DISPENSER FROM GALA & SONS; MALAD OF THE BRAND VOLTAS.

                  NOW THE DISPENSER MECHANISM OF THE MACHINE HAS BROKEN.

                  THE TECHNICIAN FROM THE COMPANY TOOK AWAY THE MECHANISM STATING THAT HE WILL REPLACE THE MECHANISM WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS; HOWEVER IT HAS BEEN 15 DAYS NOW AND WE HAVE MADE ALMOST 3 CALLS EVERY DAY TO THE CONSUMER CONTACT NUMBER[protected].

                  ALL THEY SAY IS THAT WE WILL TRY AND RESOLVE THE COMPLAINT IN NEXT 24 HOURS.

                    Sir,
                    I have purchased two no. Voltas Vertis Premium Split Type ACs, 1no. 1.5 tons & 1 no. 1.00 ton from M/S Vedoms, Dharampeth, Nagpur on 18.06.2009.
                    On 1.06.2010, the MCB to which the 1.5 tons AC is connected, started getting tripped within 10 ~ 15 minutes of switching ‘on’ the AC. It was functioning satisfactorily over the past one year. The Sr No of the I/D is 4551075P09E005531 & that of O/D is 4511071P09D005780.
                    I lodged a complaint with M/S Vedoms on 2.06.10. The voltas service man Mr. Gowardhan visited on 4.06.10 (w/o carrying a report book). He measured the current consumption which was 8.5A for first 5 minutes, started rising thereafter for next 5 ~ 7 minutes up to 12.5A causing the MCB to trip. Mr. Gowardhan inspected the MCB & found it to be of 10A rating. He advised me to replace the MCB with the one with 16A or 20A rating, upon which I told him that the normal current consumption is 8.5A & the MCB (Seimens make) has functioned with no problems and that he should investigate the root cause of rising of current after 5 minutes and also that replacing the MCB with higher rating will create the scope for current to rise beyond 12.5A resulting into damage of some part. However, as insisted by him, I replaced the 10A MCB with a 20A MCB on 6.06.10.. The AC functioned for 15 minutes & thereafter the cooling stopped. The BLOWER, TURBO & FAN were operating.
                    I, again lodged a complaint on 7.06.10 (Complaint no. 10JU0700157 Dt 7.06.10). Mr. Pankaj Jadhav & Mr. Nilesh visited on 8.06.10. They inspected the I/D & O/D & concluded that the cooling is not taking place because the FAN UNIT of the O/D has failed . Accordingly they prepared a report & told me that it will take at least 4 ~ 5 days for the parts to arrive & repairs to take place.
                    I feel that when the nature of complaint is reported, the service men should come prepared along with the spares & close the call in first visit. Whereas the Voltas service men come without any equipment, just inspect & prepare reports, send them to the company, wait for 3~4 days for the company response & visit again with the parts. It’s very inconvenient for us to postpone our work & wait for the servicemen on 3~4 occasions. The local service stations should have sufficient stock of spares so that the job can be finished in one visit.
                    I should also get an extension in the warranty period for a no. of days from dt. of lodging the complaint by me & dt of closing the complaint by Voltas.

                      This is in reference to my complaint number 10JU0404215. My Air conditioner(Voltas) compressor's fan blade was broken. When I raised a complaint, I was asked to pay Rs.450 as an inspection charge for a person to visit my place where the AC is 2 months old and still under the warrenty period. Very bad service....Got a technician to visit my place after 3 days of raising this complaint and says it will still take 1 week get the part replaced....Very pathetic service!!!

                        I have purchased 1 no.Voltas W/AC 1T Vertis Plus from Croma, Ansal Plaza, Greater Noida, the details of which is mentioned below:
                        Date of purchase: 19-Apr-09

                        Delivery Date: 22-Apr-09, Time 12.00pm to 5.00pm

                        The AC was not in stock, hence it was promised by your staff that the same will be delivered on 22-Apr-09. It was delivered on 22-Apr-09, but at 9.20pm. It is still lying in my home uninstalled.

                        Pls get the AC installed today at 6.00pm.

                          Dear Sir,

                          We had purchased a VOLTAS 1.5 ton spit A/C Vertis Gold I from S.C. Shah & Co (P) Ltd. On 26.05.2010 through bill no:AN 2496. The A/C was installed on 27.05.2010 and demo was also given for 5 minutes only. Later we switched it on and it was working only for 10 minutes and there was a bursting sound with smoke in the outdoor unit. We complained to the service people they checked the unit the next day and said that the compressor tube had burst and there was a manufacturing defect in the outdoor unit. We complained to VOLTAS on 29.05.2010 the complaint no:10MY2901293 about the problem and they promised a new replacement for the outdoor unit on 31.05.2010. But I have not received the outdoor unit till now. The company people told us that we have to co-ordinate with the dealer. The dealer is not sending us the outdoor unit and there is no proper reply from the dealer side. We are unhappy with the quality of the product as well as the service and the dealer.

                            I had purchased one Voltas 1.5 Split AC from the above mentioned dealer. I had paid in full by credit card. Firstly they did not delivered on time.
                            Secondly I was told that the bill would come along with Technician who would deliver the AC unit. The technician didnot submit any bill.
                            Also after requesting the dealer to courier our bill they failed. In the mean time after 3-4 months the Remote of the AC stopped working. I complained to the service centre and also call centre but no response.
                            After long the technician came and took away the remote to repair.
                            Later I was told that it will be replaced but i need to show bill. But how on earth could i show them the bill since i was not given. Later the remote was kept in the service centre and not returned.

                            After several request the remote was returned without any change still stranded in same problem.

                            Then i called the call centre several times and I was told that my problem would be sorted out within 24-48 hours. Then another technicial came from another service centre. By the time i had myself verified that it was not AC remote it was the sensor on the AC side that was faulty. Then i requested the technician to rectify the sensor.
                            The technician took out the whole unit and told he would take for repair and would be back in 2-3 days. But another 10 days have again passed but there is no sign of anyone turning to get the AC repair.

                            This is how the company is providing the service support.

                              My name is Naveen Kumar Singh. I have purchased an Voltas A.C. One tone vertis plus on date 22/05/10 from Nikky Electronics, shop A-1239, G.D. Colony Mayur Vihar Phase III New Delhi -110096.From the day first it is not working properly
                              1. Remote Not working.
                              2. P.C.B. circuit defective.
                              3. We are not able to change the cooling level

                              I have complained to the dealer Nikky electronics on date 23/05/10. The service center executive visited on 28/05/10 and 01/06/10 but not able to resolve the problems.

                              As you can see that Dealer supplied me defective piece of Voltas A.C. I need your legal help to file a case against Voltas To sell me defective piece of A.C.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I've Purchased Voltas window AC (vertis Premium 1.5 win a/c) last year the ac is under waranty AC is not working for last 3 months & I've been putting the complaint for the same time but Voltas has sent the person each time who spend two or more days with repairing but result is zero they are just doing R&D with ac & no one is very sure where the problem is I've gone irritated now & want my AC to be replaced by Voltas with extended waranty. Plz take the appropriate action so as to bond these companies for their liabilitis.

                                  Purchased the Voltas AC vide bill no. 11, dt. 22/4/10 from New Kasmic Traders, mata rani road, Ludhiana ( Voltas Dealer) and got installed by dealer himself. Since its purchase the unit is not working properly, the same has been conveyed to the dealer, regional office of voltas at chandigarh and the head office mumbai. My problem was not solved since today. instead of solving our problem the regional office incharge asked us to lodge a complaint at the Toll free Nos. which has been regularly lodged at the following complaint no along with the dates for your ref.

                                  We like to bring to your kind attention that we have purchased the product (Split AC) of Voltas not of the DEALER's Mr. Vijay sharma was contacted through mail which he referred to Mr. Sandeep singh pathania, who is looking the customer care dept. and seems to be an agent or partner of the authorized service centre personnel in ludhiana from his rude conversation and behaviour on telephone which lasted for 25 - 30 minutes just to convey the message of authorized service centre..He interrogated me, as I was accused and asked about the date of purchased and threatened that why you have not contacted me earlier and now the 10 - 11 days have been passed and we have exhausted all the channels ie. Dealer and service centre. Due to Non Cooperation and satisfactory reply we are forwarding our request to you...More over, he refused to settle my complaint and asked we have no responsibility to give you service to the split ac purchased from the dealer, but not from the distributor cum service centre with whom he seems to be attached and looking after their interest instead of customers for which he has been deployed..Also, as said by him in the below mail that company is not responsible for improper installation as mentioned on the warranty card, we think Mr. pathania is not capable for this post because he does not know that the warranty card is in the sealed package which can not be seen without opening it, and the same package is opened by the person / mechanic / engineer.who has come to install the unit. Now 1 more point has been raised that the company is hiding the main / important terms in the package so that the customers can be exploited on these terms later on and money can be made...which was atleast not expected by THE BRAND "TATA"

                                  similar complaint was lodged with the company last year but on assurance given by the authorized person that this type of problem will not be created in future but same are being faced on second purchase as well and we hope this time not only assurance will be provided, rather corrective action should be taken to sort out the issue ASAP.

                                  Now we really had a bad experience with Voltas AC's...and surely we are not going to make any purchase of voltas ac and will also not recommend others to buy from voltas...

                                  We already have Voltas Split AC and bought a new one 10 days back from a local dealer in Ludhiana (M/s New Kasmic Traders) and we requested them to install the unit upon which they agreed and did the same within 2-3 days. But after the installation, it did not work....we informed regarding the same to the dealer upon which they came to verify the problem and they diagnosed that the gas was leaked and asked us to contact the authorized service centre of Voltas. Accordingly, we approached the authorized service centre and Mr. R.G.Singh checked the unit on 28th April and confirmed that refill is needed and assured to refill within 2-3 hours Till 30th April, no person has come to refill the gas and not replied satisfactory while tried to contact on telephone then we contacted Mr. Jain (Authorized Centre Head) who flatly refused to entertain our request on the basis that a unit has been installed by the dealer not by them and asked that we will not provide any kind of service in future also because the unit has been purchased and installed by dealer because they have not earned any paisa from the installation charges. Since we have purchased the unit 10 days back and not running till today, the question arises in our mind that whether we made a good decision to purchase voltas ac.!!!!!...again...because the same problems are being faced by us even after your past assurance.(plz refer below mails)

                                  We request you to please take necessary steps and direct the authorized service centre not to refuse and exploit the customer so that we may not hesitate to purchase the product of Voltas(World Renowned) in future.

                                  Also, we will be lodging the compliant at toll free nos. but we thought to inform you regarding the same first.

                                  Dear Sir / Madam,

                                  My name is Anuj Paul Gupta and a resident from Ludhiana (PB). I have purchased a VOLTAS VERTIS PLUS AC last summer from a local dealer. Everything was going fine until I asked W.S.P.Care an authorised service centre for your company) to perform a service for the AC before I began with the usage this summer. He has sent some people after two days and more over those people were not specialized i.e. not knowing the basics of performing the service. Then after service, after 2 -3 days AC stopped working ie cooling was not there. I lodge a compliant again with the same service centre as they have performed the operations before as well. Then they said that MY AC needs refilling of the GAS (which was leaked from nowhere) ie no leakage symptoms found. Again after 2 -3 days the person came with the gas cylinder to refill the gas in the AC. when he left my AC was not providing cooling to me and moreover the leakage of the water started in the room itself. I again lodged the complaint, the person came again, he rectified the water leakage and the cooling problem(as he stated) but after he left again the cooling problem was there.

                                  Now, again I reported a complaint to the same service centre on Saturday 16th May, but til now no action has been taken, When I try to cal Mr. RG singh the owner of the service centre, he says that we will be sending the person today itself or they are already in my locality but they are not coming to my home. I waited for them the whole Saturday, Sunday, Monday (after calling them in the morning and waiting for their engineers to come) but no one came or contacted me.

                                  Yesterday I had a word with Mr. RG Singh about the same he said he will send a person after 8pm, although I requested him to send the person a bit early as I have to go to a marriage function but he said he cant. Even then I missed out my function taking into the consideration of the busy schedule of the service centres due to the summer season and I waited the whole night and moreover in the morning (today) but no one has yet came and even I have not rcvd any intimation from them. When I asked him and his employees to give me the compliant number yesterday, they refused to give and said that there is no complaint regarding this. Later I inquired today morning regarding the complaint it was there, complaint no. 254 dt 16/5/2009, which is not been forwarded to any of the engineers yet to rectify.

                                  My product is still in warranty / gaurantee. and I feel I am being exploited by these people.

                                  At this moment when some one asks me about this product and company I just said to them, "the product and the company is good but they dont provide a post purchase service"
                                  which does not suits to the company like TATA

                                  At the end i will like to request you to please consider my case and take required action so that i would not be an unsatisfied customer.

                                  After selling Voltas do not bother about after-sales service. I have also stopped buying Voltas products and told my friends to buy Samsung or other make. Never enter Voltas. Tatas have a bad name in consumer products and they

                                    I had purchased one 1 pc. air cooled packaged air conditioner 8.5 ton capacity on 11/06/2009 vide your bill no. [protected] that was the time when my pains have begun. We have not used this pc. for more than 2 months last year. This was not because we never wanted to use it , it was because the unit had remain shut down due to one problem or other.The unit's fan motor has got burnt 3 times last year within a span of 2 months and was repaired everytime and given back to us.This year it is now june beginning and we have been trying to start this unit, but the motor problem still remains. I had purchased this unit from the Voltas Company just because the company enjoys a good name and reputation being owned by the Tata Group.But I am sorry to say,I was wrong ! I tried to register my complaint at the Toll free nos. mentioned in ur website, but they so coolly apologise for not having any service access in Amritsar. Now, I think this is my last try writing to ur company, if there is anybody who could solve my problem or else I should take now with the fact that I have been fooled around during the purchase of this unit.

                                      We purchased one Voltas Split AC 1.5 Ton Vertis Panache/HC on 26th August’2009. This model of AC was purchased only after strong recommendation of the dealer. It is also pertinent to add here that the subject AC was slightly higher in cost so therefore better quality AC was presumed. But it proved to be one of the biggest error we had committed; this was realized only after installation in first week of September 2009. The AC took about three weeks to start for use and that too after lot of complaints with the dealer. We may add here that during the installation and demo, an inexperienced mechanic used to come and it is very sad to say that during the demo, the mechanic was not even aware about the basic functions and utilities of this model.

                                      After usage of 2 weeks, AC created cooling problems, complaints were lodged for it and again a complaint was lodged in 2nd week of October 2009 for the similar problem which was rectified after 2 weeks i.e. in last week of October’2009. This cooling problem occurred due to gas leakage twice and an inexperienced mechanic who had come to refill the gas for the first time actually cut the copper pipe for refilling the gas though there is a special valve provided for the refilling of gas which he was not aware of. Then came the winter and AC was not used. In the first week of April’ 2010, we again started using the AC after getting it serviced from the company mechanic. Then, this AC hardy worked for 15-20 days and it developed a technical problem for which a complaint was lodged with the company on 10th May’ 2010 (Complaint No. 10MY1004985) since then at least 8-10 mechanic have visited our home to readdress our complaint but till date our AC has not been set to order.

                                      Everybody knows about the height of summer this year. We had to buy one cooler in absence of AC with an extra expenditure Rs. 5,000 because we remained unheard even though we have contacted the Area Manager of the company, Dealer and Service Contractor. When we contacted the dealer, he showed his inability because there was no interest once he has sold the goods. Service Contractor said that we have already sent the parts of your AC to VOLTAS and now it lies in their hands when to solve the complaint. After this reply we talked to the Area Manager Mr. Sudipta Chakarborty who was came up on phone after a lot many calls and his reply was very casual. We made several requests to the Area Manager to replace the AC, he said we cannot satisfy each and every customer.
                                      It is very sad that after spending huge amount for getting relief from summer and our complaint still not resolved even after more than 25 days then what is the use of giving big slogans like “INDIA KA DIL, INDIA KA AC. & efficient rated AC etc.” and also they claim that we will solve your AC problem within 48 hours at the most. Our experience about Voltas is so poor since their own workforce and the service contractors are not only inexperienced but inefficient also. They don’t have any concern for consumer as they want to settle the complaint in a routine or casual manner even though the family is living in Day Temperature of 45 Degree Celsius and Nights of 38 Degree Celsius. It comes to our mind as if we have committed a sin by purchasing a Voltas AC. Nobody tells us the email address or telephone numbers of the higher authorities from where we can get our readdressal of our complaint fastly.

                                      Out of 9 months of purchase there were about 4-5 months (since remaining 4 months was winter) in which could have used the AC but it only worked for not more than 45 days. There so called service engineers came 7-8 times to attend the lastly lodged complaint and took away many important parts which have not come back till date even after 3 weeks. What a fine example of After Sale Service. The most terrible thing is that our 1-Year Service Warranty is expiring in August’ 2010 in which almost 2 months are left. We have requested them several times to replace the AC for which on one hand they are not agreeing it to replace the AC and on the other hand they are not able to repair the AC after 3 weeks itself.

                                      Now it comes to our mind that branded items are sometimes an utter failure to purchase with. What surprises me is that when someone comes to Voltas, it is with the belief that it is a TATA company and thus it would be the most reliable one. How can your Service Contractor send the so called mechanics who instead of repairing the AC end up damaging it as mentioned above in case of refilling of gas. How can one trust a company whose Service Contractors try and cheat their customers. I do not even know what to do with my AC as I can not trust any of Voltas Service Contractors. The only choice left is to get rid of Voltas AC and go for some other brand. Yet if Voltas (a TATA company) cannot provide good services then who else can?

                                      We request you to get it replaced because his model very well known to the mechanic teams. We now request your esteemed network/organization to help us in the readdressal of our complaint at the earliest possible occasion by taking the matter with concerned higher authorities of Voltas.

                                        I have purchased a voltas 1 ton virtis from M/s.Maruthi at Chennai before 4 years. From the inception I am getting so many problem especially in summers..

                                        1. 1 & 2 Years stabilzer problem
                                        2 3 & 4 th years electronic board problem.

                                        I made several complaints to your Toll Free Number and M/s.Maruthi Agencies. Last one month two times removed the board and serviced by M/s.Maruthi engineers. But they could not able to rectify the problem.

                                        Hence I kindly request that the same may be taken back and supply the new one immediately. Otherwise there is no option to approach the consumer forum.
                                        I have purchased only because of Voltas is a reputed and standard company. After buying the same, I came to understand that you are not supporting to the customers like other non-branded products.

                                        I request you to take necessary action to replace the substandard quality supplied by your dealer M/s.Maruthi Agencies.
