I purchased VOLTAS split AC 1.5 T on 07.03.2011 at Relience Digital. It is not working from 17.03.2011 (Just 10 days after purchase and 7 days after installation). When I lodged a complaint on toll free number, they sent one person after 3 days and identified the problem with remote. They took the remote (on 20.03.2011) and disppeared forever. After continous phone calls he came back with remote with many reasons for rectifying the problem with remote. He came to my home on 15.04.2011 (nearly one month after)
Then he started to swich on AC with remote.!!!!!! Its not working once again. Now he checked the system and said that there was a problem with chip. He has taken that along with remote on 15.04.2011 and till not returned.......... My AC is looking like a show peice and I really sorry for all the custumers after seeing this mail.

    Namaskar,
    Subject : delivery of AC Vertis Gold 1.5 ton.
    I wish to inform you that I had booked an Split AC of 1.5 ton Veris Gold Model for M/S Innovation Aircon (A group of Agoan Electronics), Shanti Path, Pulia No-1, Raja Park, Jaipur on 18th March,2010 vide our Cheque no-739253 dated 18th March,2011 of The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd, Jaipur for Rs 5000/- (Five thousand only) and told dealer that I will take delivery after 25th March,2011.
    Dealer delivered the AC set on 28th March, 11 vide their delivery challan no-438 with the invoice no 661 dated 18th March, 2011. But when I received the goods I check the products packing. I had doubt that Inlet part (Complete box) of the packing was opened at dealer's point. I complaint about it immediately to Mr. RamAvtar (Showroom Manager). Mr. Ram Avtar was trying to convince me that it might be opened at dealer's point. So He returned back all the complete AC set immediately same day (28th March,11).
    He assured me that, he will get next lot of materials (AC- Vertis Gold) from company with in one week, he will deliver the same. But I am very sorry to say that after calling on phone many times and also visit the showroom, I always get reply that AC has not come from company. Sir more that 20 days have passed, but I did not receive the AC till today. Please look into the matter and arrange to deliver goods immediately. I shall be highly obliged.

      This is in regards with the complaint of Voltas vertis plus window AC,
      Few days back I have registered a request for AC services, for which an engineer visited and completed the work but just after very next day “FAN MOTOR” had stopped working for which I have registered a complaint “11AP0406084”, for which another engineer visited to repair the same, as per him there was water logging in the fan motor during last wet service, because of which it had jammed.
      To repair it he had put some oil in it and done the temporary adjustment in vein as it stopped on very next day.

      I have called your customer care for the reopening of the previous complaint. On Sunday one gentleman MR VishwasSharma ([protected]), who claimed to be the manager of the repair center. He reassured that he would send some one and replace the FAN MOTOR. But no one turned up till today. Now when I am trying contacting him he is not picking up the call.

      More over some one named DD Sharma called for the details and I am sorry to say the way he communicated was extremely rude. He was adamant for the bill copy and was repeating only one thing warrantee is over and I have to pay the damage. Now complaint desk is not ready to take complaint also. As the engineer had mention the remarks that I have not paid for the services where as I have the receipt 250 for the same.

      Now my question is this why should I pay for your engineer’s mistake, it was his mistake, he mishandled my stuff and done the damage.

      I think it was my mistake I have purchased your product and opted the pathetic service of your company.

      I am writing this complaint by hoping some one would turn up to resolve customers concern.

        THE AC IS NOT COOLING PROPERLY FROM ITS BEGNING AND SO MANY COMPLAINT WAS LODGED AT DEALER

          My Split Ac is not cooling properly . i have complaint in 06 May 2011 from Sabbarwal Electronic NIT 1 in faridabad. he is comment for me your problem solved the next 24 to 48 hours. but not solved this problem. Voltas service is very poor. Now my Ac is under warranty. but not solve this problem. and delay by delay. I am very tired. i think close the Sabbarwal Electronic Shop. Because he is down the voltas brand.

            I had logged a call for '2nd free service' of windows 1.5 ton, comp. no 11MR2206744 on dated 22.03.2011, after taking continues follwup with customer care, answer was call is in progress...on dated 02.04.2011 i had take followup with customer care, answer was call closed...so i had logged one more comp. and number is 11AP02025455...still i am sufer .....customer care alwasys informed me that call is in progress..and tomorrow service engineer will call to me but still no one had called me up...

            please do the needful.

                Myself Bimal R Nagda residing at C-402, Shukan Apartment, Chandlodia, Ahmedabad purchased a Split 1 ton AC of voltas in the month of March,2010 from Sales India, Ranna Park Branch, Ahmedabad. the voltas company has not given any after sales service to me. i talked to voltas srvice statiuon regarding service atleast for once in a year. they replied that there is a completion of one year period after purchase of AC. and we are giving service only those people who remind us for such service after purchase of AC. is it so? i think company has the record of such purchaser and to whom company has to give service. after that reply, i contacted sales india person, who also replied that now you have to pay for such service. I m the person who purchases every electronic items from Sales India, am i mad? i want reply from Voltas what is the real procedure for after sales customer care and service of such product. and Voltas person as well as sales india too has given rude answer to me. so what i can do ?

                  I have bought a 1 ton vertis gold of voltas one year back the day it completed its warranty of one year from the very next day it started us giving tears as it started forming ice in the outer unit and from that day every month we have to get it repaired before taking rest under AC.Every time the Autorised dealer of voltas sai refrigeration assure us that now it will be not defoulter any more but again it results in the same way what to do.We bought it for 25000.I will say never to buy tatas any product better to buy international brand.

                      We purchased a Voltas vertis Split AC 2tons last Year 19-April-2010,from RELAINCE DIGITAL Ambiance Mall Gurgaon @ Rs40000/- fourty thousand.Bearing Bill no. [protected]. we had face the same problem repeatedly from the next month of the purchased date. The internal unit of AC is regularly leakage of water . we already register the complaint to the dealer atleast 6 times but they are not responding us and they ignoreing us. Kindly take a strict action against them as early as possible because the warrenty of AC will be void by 19-april-2011.

                        i buyed 1 ton voltas window ac in august last year which is not working from the very first day as its compressor gets switced off after few mintues and than it stops cooling. Even after complaining them 8 times the problem is still there which they call it a PCB problem, the service centre people are unable to give the solution as the people who came to my place many times were all uneducated as they know its cleaning and all that's it.
                        Is that i have done a mistake to buy a TATA brand product as they are cheating and selling their product like a chinesse products which usually works as per your luck not quality. I Hope voltas (TATA) management would open its eyes atleast now and look how they are making fool on the tata brand name.

                          I purchased Voltas 1.00T Vertis Gold I Split AC Air Conditioner from Sumaria, Mahim on 4/2/2011,
                          Invoice No.MH/FEB11/0005 Sales Consultant : Sachin Kadam.

                          There is leakage (heavy) from day one. I informed Volta authorised service franchisee Sai Siddhi Refrigeration. They sent their technician 9/2/11 but the technician said this leakage is very normal. The leakage increased, they said they would send their senior technician but the same technician came and said the same thing this leakage is normal. I contacted Sumaria they told me to contact Rajeshwari of Sumaria at 61916807/06. At first she attended the call and said she would do something. She just slept over the matter. Inspite of me calling her a number of times she would not come on line. Would convey the message thru someone else the technician is on field work.

                          I want the matter to be solved or money returned.

                            Voltas 1.5 split a/c- Veritas Elite-Quality complaints

                            I purchased a 1.5 T split a/c- Voltas Elite silver ,on 7.1.11 from Shahs, Adyar.
                            The machine was to be installed on the next day but due to a mis match of one of the parts supplied. The installation was completed on 12.1.11 only. The base plate for fixing the a/c on the wall was not matching with the machine supplied. A new base plate was obtained by the technician but this also was not matching and the third and last attempt succeeded.. We had to make umpteen telephone calls to Voltas and their agents and wait patiently till this exercise was completed.
                            The interesting aspect is that the base plate does not bear any part no. or identification mark, though for different models different plates are used. I don’t know how the ensure interchangeability. The old hit and miss method by trials still continues. This was definitely not expected from Voltas.
                            The machine worked for a few days and cooling was poor. On a fresh complaint the technicians found out that there was gas leak from the compressor and this was rectified on 1.2.11. The unit tripped quite often and yet another complaint was lodged. The technician concluded that on 14.2.11 that this is due to low voltage, though I have a good stabilizer and have no case of such ‘low voltage’ for any other appliance including my Samsung a/c. On each occasion I asked them to show me the temperature readings by thermometer, but they refused, as it seems their hands can estimate the temperature better than a thermometer.
                            A complaint was lodged on the Voltas website page but nothing has happened to this.
                            The booklet issued with the A/C has no relevance to the product. The remote shown on the booklet is totally different from what is actually supplied.
                            Is this the much touted quality of Voltas.
                            Voltas A/c may be good but the total lack of quality consciousness by supplying mis-matching parts, wrong technical leaflets, gas leak from a brand new compressor and providing incompetent technical service reflect on the lack of commitment and pride in the organization and tarnishes the name of Tatas.
                            Users should think twice before buying this a/c as the quality cannot be taken for granted in spite of the Brand name

                            Voltas/V Elite Split A/C — Gas Leak/Notworking

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have purchased Air condition from M/S Jeyam & co Anna nagar ChennaiVide their
                            bill no 1149/14/05/2009.During fitment A/C is not working he told to send the enginner.One person came on 21/05/2009 inspected he told the gas is not available inside. Again another person came and filled the gas on 23/05/2009.After one month the A/c is not working.Again i report the shop owner to replace the A/c.He told to fill the gas again to check the A/c.Again & again iam facing the same problem.Kindly to replace the Air condition immediately.

                            same problem I am facing. Gas leakage /repeated complaints, but I think voltas has shown their skill only to sell their products (which is going to be zero in near future) - but failed to provide good quality product - worst is their after sale service.

                            After sale service is so poor that even technician does not know basics of air conditioning

                            I hereby warn every one - NEVER THINK TO PURCHASE ANY VOLTAS PRODUCT -

                              I have mailed and called Voltas customer care several times but all in vain a s there is no reponse from there side.

                              Voltas request No.10OC1302682. It is been pending from almost 4 months
                              or may be more. The AC was under warranty at the time the engineer
                              visited and took a part which needed replacement but till today it has
                              not been replaced and I have been calling the customer care number
                              several times and they always say that it is out of stock and within
                              24 hrs somebody will revert back. If they cannot change the part then
                              they must change the complete AC. As I have to shift from this house.

                              Kindly revert with solution.
                              I hace also sent mail at [protected]@core.nic.in but no response has been received till now.

                              AC — Part not replaced

                              Voltas request No.10OC1302682. It is been pending from almost 3 months or may be more. The AC was under warranty at the time the engineer visited and took a part which needed replacement but till today it has not been replaced and I have been calling the customer acre number several times and they always say that it is out of stock and within 24 hrs somebody will revert back. If you cannot change the part then you must change the complete AC. As I have to shift from this house. Kindly revert with immediate solution.

                                Sir. i had purchased a voltas vertis gold 1.5 tn ac in 2005. In response to my service complaint call on[protected] one mechanic from GK.Aircons,vyasarpadi, chennai attended and made gas top-up for wich i paid Rs.1500/-. After three months the same problem occured.Again i made acomplaint call.In the month of November another mechanic attended from the same service partner and he said that the previous mechanic without noticing the leakage had toped up the gas.Now the leakage should be arrested and gas to be toped up for which he demanded Rs.2650/-.I paid Rs.150/- visiting charge only.So i request u to kindly advise me in this regard.My contact number s [protected].Ranganathan

                                      I own a Voltas Mini Magic Water Dispenser for the last few years. The tap provided in the water dispenser is of very poor quality that I have changed the tap more than 3 times so far. The current issue is also on the tap wherein I had complained for changing the tap of the hot water in the dispensing unit.The service complaint no provided was 10 OC 2601294 dated Oct 26, 2010. The technician visited in 2 days and brought a different kind of a tap and said that the same model is not available in stock. I refused to allow the tap to be replaced since the model of the tap will be different for hot water and cold water. Since then I have been following up with the customer care number over the last 10 days and I am yet to get the tap replaced. Voltas decided to change to a different model of the tap which means that the customer will have to pay for changing both the taps although only one is broken. The service levels at the customer care number where I have been calling up over the last 10 days has gone down very badly. No proper response is provided as to when the stock of the old tap model will be available. Everytime I call I am suppose to repeat the entire story and then it gets escalated to some one senior as told to me. But no action takes place.

                                      voltas water dispenser — misbehaviour

                                      Dear sir
                                      we have one voltas water diepenser in our office .It had some problem for which i booked complained . engineer came checked and took the dispenser with him for gas filling. they have repaired and brought back system and asked us to pay repairing charges. we told him to install the system and show us whether it is working or not , engineer who came to install (Mr Deeepak arora) became angry and started shouting on us .he was behaving like some roadside mechanic not like the engineer from a multinational like voltas.
                                      we told him repeatedly to show us the working system and we will pay you the charges.
                                      but he was not ready to listen to any one and keep on shouting on our staff and everybody present there.
                                      at last we paid him his charges and system is also working fine .
                                      But his misconduct and the way he deals was very much disappointing.

                                        Voltas Ac which i had purchased in 2009 for my room, Makes a lot of noise as if the complete ac is gone Burst out I am really unsatisfied with the service provided by Voltas been complaining them from last six months and no one is bother to contact us on the same. I am feed up with the Product. Myu strong recommendation not to Buy the Voltas 1.5 ton Ac and that to from Vijay sales. They are big time cheaters
