Very recently i have purchased Voltas AC (Virtis premium) from Aircon India, Begumpet, Hyderabad. Just after 3 days water getting leakage from the indoor unit. But no action have been taken after informing many times to dealer as well to voltas customer care, I am really fed up with their service. Please take the necessary action on dealer and get this issue resolved.

i have Voltas AC (Virtis premium) from Hyderabad. problemis water leakage from the indoor unit. But no action have been taken after informing many times to dealer as well to voltas customer care, I am really fed up with their service. Please take the necessary action get this issue resolved.
We too have the same issue and in spite of complaining several times no action as been taken. I wonder why does Voltas not rectified this faulty model. I wish someone takes any action in this regard.

    my complaint as per purchase bill no 4325 dated 28-08-09 from m/s rhythem house noida for voltas vertis plus airconditioner 1.5 ton 3 units.

    My numerous complaints and followup all in drain as per their registered complaint number 10AP1904435 DATED 19-04-10 AND 10MY1503004 DATED[protected] FOR ONE OF THE AC.

    I am unable to get the solution to the working state of the AC please let me know what we should do to get the problem solved.

NEXT DAY HIS MAN HAS CAME AND INSTALLED AC. AFTER CALL 3RD DAY FROM VOLTAS COMPANY A MAN HAS CAME FOR DEMO. AFTER DEMO THE AC WAS WORKING. AFTER 4-5 DAYS THE COOLING EFFECT WAS NOT GOOD AND I ASKED ON PHONE THEY SAID AAP KIS POINT PAR CHALA REHAY HAI. I SAID 25 OR 24 THEY SAID AGAR KAM COOL KAR RAHA HAI TO AAP 20 OR 18 PER CHALAYE.           very poor service
          i purchased one .75 ton ac voltas vertis plus make in year 2008 . since that time my ac is not working properly . it is having cooling problem from the date of purchase. reply to complaint takes place after month .last year on 26 june 2009 (complaint no 09JU293144)i made complaint but replied very slowly after a month.Even last month april 10-2010(complaint no 10AP1002236) i made complaint but no body came to me . again i made complaint on 18 may 2010 ( no 10MY1801929) engineer came for servive and checking but same problem is there . i purchased this ac due to brand name but its service is very poor . kindly forward my request to concerned department so that my problem can get solved as soon as posible

          Service is pathetic no concern about the customers problem 64719333 no is not pcking up the phone.Never ever buy Voltas product rather TATA product its been only 15 days I bought voltas Ac product is performing worst no cooling still customer service people not bothered dealer also pathetic

            In 2008 I Purchased Voltas AC at my home. Both my 1 ton Votas Vertis Split AC are sparsely used and are being serviced (during the warranty period and there after for 1 year by AMC) by M/s. Vikas Enterprises. Last year one of my remote was not working due to leakage of battery and was repaired by M/s. Vikas Ent. for Rs.600.

            Ever since the remote was not working well. This year since the services provided by them were not to my satisfaction I was requesting them to have a look at the placements of AC so that they can be serviced better. In the mean time one of the ACs developed a leakage and on request M/s. Vikas Ent sent a two mechanics who while repairing the leak broke the locking pin of the lid of blower part of the split AC.

            Because of the unexperienced mechanics who come for the services I decided not to use M/s. Vikas for the further services. In the mean time both my remote stopped working. I lodged a compalint with your 1800 number. 2 mechanics from M/s. RPM services came. I allowed them to take only one remote for repair. This was done as per their service report no. 6505 dtd. 06/05/2010. Today (i.e. on 08/05/2010) the mechanics came to my house with 2 remotes. Their claim was since my remote was unrepairable they are supplying me with the new remote. Saying this they produced my original remote (which was in very good condition) claiming it to be the new remote and an old remote with pen marking on all buttons saying that was my old remote. While questioning that my remote was in pristine condition why the marks, i was told they put marks on the buttons to identify them (surprisingly they does not seem to have heard about labels).

            Mr. Lad, I threw both of them out of my house with both the remotes and sat down writing to you about the matter. What surprises me is that when some one comes to Voltas it is with the belief that it is a TATA company and thus most reliable. How can your service providers send the so called mechanics who instead of repairing the units end up damaging it. How can one trust a company whose service providers try and cheat their customers. I do not even know what to do with my AC.As i can not trust none of your service providers only choice left is to get rid of Voltas AC and go for some other brand. Yet if Voltas ( A TATA company) can not provide good services who else can?

            I have already placed complaint with one M.r Nandkumar Lad of Voltas without any response.

              When I bought a new house, I got 7 voltas split A.C. installed in my residence during off-season, after summer was over. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that Voltas being a TATA company, is the best choice for ACs. However, to my horror, I discovered that actually it is the WORST.

              All those AC are non-performers, break-down every 7 days and nothing happens when you complain. After sales service in our area is sub-contracted by VOLTAS to a private party in the name of Swift Air Care (somebody in the name of Gulyani) who are big frauds. Everytime, you call them they will tell you that they are sending a person in 2 hours which will actually never happen. I have been chasing them for my Bedroom AC, for the last 2 weeks and you hear the same answer. I feel like shooting those guys. This is a regular thing for us for the last 2+ years and now we have decided to replace all Voltas AC.

              Please never think of buying any VOLTAS brand. If you have any enemy, only then you advise him to buy VOLTAS. It appears TATA are no more concerned about their goodwill. What the hell Ratan Tata is doing ? Spoiling the name of his forefathers ?

              Even at the time of writing this complain, 5 of those 7 ACs are not working. We have actually now given up.

                As discussed with you in the past that am having trouble in this machine since the date of installation.

                1) Your several people have come to my house, and tried to repair the AC. Your own people yesterday confessed that the first repair of the motor replacement is faulty, as the same is 2nd hand and is of low speed, whereas the original motor was high speed. You are most welcome to my house, and see with your own eyes the condition of the motor replaced, and the speed of fan.

                2) Apart from this, the cooling becomes zero within 2 hours of filling the gas. Your several people have visited, and no one seems to understand the reason why / from where the leakage is. Even during the 2 hours when the gas is there, the compressor / condensor makes generator like noise, and all your people are tight-lipped for the reason.

                - Had there been any electricity fault, the other 4 a/c's installed in the apartment would not have been running flawlessly (including 1 window ac of Voltas).

                3) Am thoroughlly digusted with the product, and am tired of spending time/weekends with your service people of getting the product repaired.

                - Pls treat this email as a formal notice to you and your company for getting the maching replaced within the next 48 hours (expires on 20th May).

                - Failing to do so, I shall be happy to move to the court for mental damages, and replacement of the faulty product.

                  I purchased 1.5 ton voltas window AC in 2007. The performance so far has been below average. This season i complained to thier Service Helpline on 1st Mayto send the engineer for troubleshooting. The engineer came after one week (on 8th May) after umpteen calls and follow-up. The compressor was found faulty (under 5 years wtty). The compressor was taken on 9th May by thier Noida service dealer M/s Swift Aircare with a promise to replce the compressor within 3 days. The dealre and company helpline is so casual and not giving any proper response. This is the WORST service experience i am having. Voltas (TATA brand) is good for nothing. I am repenting my decision to go for TATA brand. I am quite satisified with other ACs (LG) whihc are working for more than 5 years and their service is prompt.

                  I dont know how to reach thier Managing Director. I am planning to put my Voltas AC in a coffin and send it to thier MD.

                  voltas limited Air Conditioner — Pathetic service

                  I have purchase voltas AC a few months back which promised me free services, They have given Address of Authorised service contractor as Comfort Point in ghatkopar east, we tried a no. of times for servicing, they say our guy will come tomorrow, but no one ever comes. Now, nobody is picking up the phone as well.
                  I purchased an VOLTAS AC on 30.4.09 from Raj pal Marketing (Pvt.) LTD.
                  Now the compressor stopped working.
                  I made several complaints No. 10JU0303317. 2nd complaint 10JU0601339,
                  3rd complaint 10JU1001179,
                  I am sorry to say that my AC has not yet been repaired, so far.
                  At the time of purchased every one promised for good service, Trusting tatas service
                  I opted for voltas AC but Now seeing their worst service I am feeling that I was fool to trust their
                  service, and purchased Voltas AC.
                  Derler says that I am help less the company people not giving spares,

                  VOLTAS — Pathetic service of Voltas A.C.

                  I have purchased a Voltas Vertis 1.5 ton AC from M/S Sunview Electronics, New Delhi on 4th March 2008. The air conditioner has not been working to our satisfaction since the beginning. Also there has been a leakage of gas every 3 months for the last 1 year. We have been contacting the customer care helpline for the resolution of the problem. We have been assured by the customer care personnel that an engineer from "Voltas India Ltd." would visit us to look at the nagging problem. However an executive from Ms Ginni Aircon has always been coming to our place without providing any satisfactory resolution.The attitude of Voltas towards the customers seems exactly opposite to your after sales service motto "At Voltas, we believe that our relationship doesn't end when you buy our products. It's just the beginning."

                  I have purchased a Voltas Air Conditioner in April 2010. It's Swing stopped working in July 2010, i have placed a complained in Voltas Customer Care. Since then i am cordinating with them and found no results. The remote of my Air Conditioner is still with them. I am completely unable to use my product. After suffiring so much my duty is to tell you about my problems and have complete faith on you, thay may be you may solve my problems.

                  Here we would like to inform you that we have purchased 2 units of VOLTAS A.C. (2 Tonne) on 20.05.2010. Now the condition is that the A.C's. are not in order hence no cooling is being made in the Bank premises. We have logged the complaint at their service desk on 04.05.2011. but till date it is not being resolved despite the repeated reminders (at least 2-3 times a day) nobody bothers to attend the complaint. We have also called at their central service centre and requested them to transfer the line to their higher officials but no response was received by us despite the line was held by us at least 20 minutes. Then we again called at customer care centre and and we were again assured that the complaint will be resolved by the Saturady or Monday end of the day but till date the position is same.
                  Sir, kindly take a kind view on the above mentioned complaint and take some strict action on that as we are being harassed by the company since last 10 days and the functioning of the bank is also effected due to humid conditions. Functioning of the system is also effected by the higher temperature.

                  I purchased an voltas 1.5 ac from an dealer ( snehanjali ) located in andheri west on 31/03/2013. The ac delivered to was tried to installed on 28/05/2013, but the company person told me that the ac is not new and is an replaced peace. I called up the dealer so he marked the complaint to voltas. On 29/04/2013 company employee came and visited and made an report claiming that re ac is replace peace and is of 2010 model. Dealer told me that they will not be able to change the ac until they get an confirmation from the company. Company people promised me that you will get an new ac within 24 hours but after waiting for the same I did not got any response either from any party. Neither dealer nor voltas is ready to change the peace when I paid for the fresh peace. Now on Monday am filing an case against both the parties as they have cheated and miss guided me and be fooled just to sell their product. In case the message is read by any voltas official please call me nog the undersigned no.

                  My complaint has not been resolved yet. I am very fed up all these things. No one is bother to resolve my complaint including my dealer Raja & Co. Amritsar from where i had bought the product last year. They all are talking very rudley on my compalint and never coming to my palace to resolve the same. They are demanding for service charges & repair fees where as i had logged the complaint for no cooling of product in warranty period of product (01/06/2014). Now I dont want to repair the fault of no cooling because your service technician had already done this for 2-3 times in 2 months. My dealer has given me a product which does not work properly n also had repaired 2-3 times in a year only. I want to know that which product needs too much repair in a single year only that means peace was defective at the time of purchase. Team my hardened money is going into vain because no action is taking at voltas end. I want to repalace my product as soon as possible instead of any repair. I shall be very thankful to you. After that I will have the way to reslove this case through district consumer forum with interest of 1 year 3 months and harsement cost as well. I shall also report this case as soon in newspaper punjb kesri and ruined the reputation of brand like voltas.

                  I am surprised to see that what type of disgusting services you are providing to their customers. It had been already gone 50 days but yet i am not getting satisfied response at your end. My hardened money which i had spent to bought voltas AC is being worthless. I am totally frustate with all this. Even your service providers are using rough language n could not able to resolve the issue as on date & asked to me that they are not free to see my complaint again n again.
                  These all things will make effect in future on reputative brand like voltas. Now i have no another way except to file the case against voltas n your service provider Lucky Refrigerator for mentally harasement about service issue in consumer court. I shall recover my product n harsement cost through consumer court only.

                  I have voltas split AC and i have contacted voltas service centre number of times for servicing and gas refilling, Inspite of reminding number of times till date no body has turned in.

                  I want to also share that as such this piece was defective and i came to know after its warranty was over, as everytime i use to complaint that it has less cooling and voltas people use to say no its too warm thats why you are feeling like this and once its warranty was over i was told its aluminium tubes have hole and cant be repaired and i had to pay almost Rs 7000 for their fault..

                  Again no one turned up and now strongly feel that it was my biggest mistake to buy voltas AC.

                  We are authorised to buy CSD product being defence personnel but name voltas made me feel strongly to buy AC from open market.Sorry to say services of voltas are very poor and very unprofessional approach.

                  Infact when i was kept in dark by your people when the coil had holes i consoled my self as i have high regards for TATA group but now i am going to raise this to higher authorities in TATA group as such treatment and chaeting not acceptsd to me.

                  I've purchased a split ac on 10/04/2022 with invoice no A[protected]A441 - IMEI/SR no 4552698A20CB02396, 4512754D21AA02816..after a month it's stopped working, made complaint multiple times but didn't get resolution.
                  Complain no [protected] has been closed without resolving the issue.engineer has visited on 13/08/2022 to check the AC and found some technical problem in coil or compressor so my Ac is in dead condition.He has taken time for one week to change the defective part. Its n guarantee period.I have used this Ac only for 20 days approx only. I am really very irate.
                  Request you to please arrange to change the parts and resolve the issue on priority basis.

                    THIS IS A COMPLAINT ON BEHALF OF MY CLIENT MR.GAURAV SHARMA, WHO PURCHASED A VOLTAS AIR CONDITIONER VIDE BILL NO.13230 DATED 23/05/09 . FROM M/S LAXMAN SALES CORPORATION, MATHURA.
                    THE A/C WHICH IS NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD STOPPED FUNCTIONING A 2 MONTHS BACK, WHICH WAS AFTER SO MANY COMPLAINTS TO THE DEALER WAS PICKED UP FROM THE PREMISES WHERE IT WAS INSTALLED.
                    NOW THE PROBLEM ARISES WHEN MY CLIENT IS ASKING FOR IT’S A/C TO BE INSTALLED BACK. THE DEALER IS MISBEHAVING AND NOT GETTING IT DONE. EVERY NOW AND THEN HE MAKES EXCUSE FOR THE SAME. HERE I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU THAT THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED ON “VOLTAS” COMPANIES REPUTATION AND NOT THE DEALER.

                      I purchased an Voltas Split air conditioner(Vertis) from a local authorised dealer in April 2008. The very same day of installation the A/C would stop automatically after 15 minutes without any cooling effect. I observed that the technicains who installed the A/c were in a hurry to finish the job and didn't even wait for long to check if it worked fine. After registering a complaint, the next day another technicain came and checked the outer unit.. we found a wire that was not connected to one of the points... after that was fixed.. it continued working for few days and stoped once again... this time without any cooling effect the ac would remain on.. once again a new complaint was registered... technicains came... took away the outer unit and replaced the compressor with a refurbished one after a week.. it continued to work for one year.. and once again the AC stopped functioning... all this time I was not charged anything for the service as the ac was under warranty. Now Inorder to get this fixed I've sent a few mails to the senior officials of VOLTAS and they say that due to the location I live in .. such cases are common and I would have to shell out Rs2500/- to get the gas refilled,, earlier the amount suggested was Rs 3000/-... after having spent Rs.24000/- to buy a VOLTAS ac which I thought was worth has turned out to be a disaster... More over the company is refusing to get it replaced,,, I'm not keen it getting it repaired and facing the same issue every six months .. My friends who live in the same area and purchased other brands have no such complaints and has never got their ac serviced in less than 2 years.. I am asking for a refund... 100% refund..no replacement as i have no faith I this brand anymore

                        I Bought a Split AC From Voltas , like after and year the service technician came for rectifying a small problem, when checking the broke the swing blades and swing motor.They wrote on the bill that they would defenitely replace it for free but when we call them they say were are bringing it , again after 5 months we called them they say we gave it to your person , finally after 8 months they do not respond at all we tried the call centre after that they also do not respond what kind of company this. Please give me a suggestion

                          We logged a complaint on May 4 for Voltas AC. THe fault was fan motor not working. Ac wa sunder warranty. On lodging teh complaint the customer care told teher will be a person at our house within 48 hours.

                          The person came on 3rd day and left after checking the AC , stating that he will come back witrh the new motor.

                          No body turned up for 2 days na dtehn we called again an dthen that very day attendant came and checked. He said teher is no fault, too our signatures on customer copy an dleft.

                          Depsiet telling him to open teh fan motor & check, he did not do it stating there is no fault and AC is wkng fine.

                          The moment he left-AC started making loud noises and we calel dhim immediately, to which he said he willc ome iwth teh motor. IT is 5 days now an dnone has turned up.

                          On calling them again & againa-they keep promising time,but no one turns.

                          I was recommended to choose Voltas AC becauise of its good after sales service-But here on i iwll not recommend Voltas to any of my near & dera ones.

                          Voltas is a horrible experience!

                          I am facing similar problem. No one turn even after 3 days of logging complaint for me. I feel, its very very poor after sales service.
                          Yes bro...whatever u have experienced I have also experienced the same. I live at Jalgaon, Maharashtra..Voltas is not a right choice and I will also not recommend it to any one who is near and dear to me. Only because of its worst after sales service..
                          Actually my problem was also the same. The fan motor of the Outdoor Unit was not working and it was heating the room. So I lodged a complaint in the Voltas customer care and he kept us promising that one of their attendant would come and see whats the problem. But none of them came to us till a week or more than it. Then we again complained, then also they kept us promising but again the same held.. Then we have call the general electrician, then we got the A/C repaired. Voltas uses A VERY 3RD GRADE RAW MATERIALS for making their products..

                          so my recommendation: - DO NOT BUY A VOLTAS A/C !!!

                            I Kishore, purchased one 1 ton window ac of Voltas brand from Viveks on 14/7/2007. We were also using a stabilizer which was recomended by Viveks, for running the ac.
                            By May 2009, the ac did not function due to compressor failure siting voltage fluctuation. On receipt of the complaint, technicians from Viveks took our ac for repairing and returned the ac with replacing another compressor.This time they advised us to use double booster stabilizer for prevention of the same problem.
                            They charged Rs 2500/. for attending the repairs.
                            Now, again the ac went down yesterday because
                            of the same problem, inspite of we using double booster stabilizer.
                            How come a leading Indian brand like Voltas can deliver products of these quality? Though there is a 5 year warranty for compressor, is it necessary for us to pay Rs 2500 or 3000 every year?
                            Wont the companies take any responsibility for
                            such product inefficiency?
                            I dont have 4 ac's in my house but my 4 member family rely on the ac to beat the heat.
                            Can I get some comfort?

                            In the first place since your a/c was under warranty, compressor is replaced free of cost irrespective whether you have an AMC or not ... you just pay rs 350 that's all and instead of calling voltas why did you call viveks...

                            Viveks is not the authorised service centre, voltas is and like you are saying I've never had problems with my a/c and it's running for 3 years and I have shifted that a/c more than 5 times and it still going good...

                              I purchased this Voltas split AC Vertis Gold 1Ton on March 16, 2010, from Snehanjali Electronics, S.V. Road, Malad West. After 1 month o[censored]se the AC stopped cooling and started making noise. I registered a complaint no. 10MY0701721 on May 6, 2010 and was told that within 2 days the complaint will be attended. After 4 days I again went to the showroom (Snehanjali) and was told that it will be attended to immediately. At last some Mr. Prakash from Ayesha Enterprise, Goregaon East who are Voltas Ltd. Authorised Service Franchisee for whom I was waiting since morning came in the evening 5.00 p.m. for the checkup on May11, 2010, and said that the AC gas is short and will be done by the next day 10 a.m. and gave a report no. 3443. After trying their telephone since morning 10.30, I got through them at 12.30 and was told that the technician will come the next day i.e. on May 13, 2010, by 12 noon. after waiting till 1.00 p.m. I went to Snehanjali showroom and was told by Mr. Pandya who is suppose to be the main person of Snehanjali, that my complaint will be attended after 5 p.m. After waiting till 8.45 p.m. Mr. Pandya directed me to Mr. Mithun (Area Sales Manager), who didnt even know that when the technician was suppose to attend me. He told me that the technician will be free by 10 p.m. and will not be able to come today. He said he will attend my complaint tomorrow May 14, 2010 at 11 a.m morning. I dont understand what type of management is this, and is the company Voltas Ltd. fooling the customer. I would personally like to appeal the public that never in your life buy this Voltas company's AC. As of now I am in a fix, as I have spend Rs. 22000/= and have got no value for my money. This company's AC is a 3rd grade box. This company only make big promises and big advertisement to lure the public, but have no commitment as well their product is 3rd grade. I think they are just cheating the customers.

                                I purchased a 1.5 ton Window AC Voltas Vertis Elite on 31st Oct. 2009. At the time of installation the window grill was found broken in the box packing. The same was replaced on 12th Dec. 2009 a good one and half months after installation. I complained that remote was not working on 3rd May 2010 but even after 10 days the company is yet to attend to the complaint. The after sales service is very poor.

                                Window AC Vertis Plus — Remote not working in relation to Main AC

                                Sir,

                                I purchased a Window AC Vertis Plus Model from Hazrats Vision, Vikas Marg, Delhi on 28th May 2008 on hire purchase basis.

                                As per your system you had to give two free services. but after lot of pursuation one service was given on 11-4-08. But due to nonavailibily of second service the remote or panel might have gone out of order.

                                Somebody service centre called Unique refrigertors came and removed the panel and came back with charging of 1100/- rupees saying the panel can not be repaired.

                                Sir I have heard the reputation of the oltas company that is why I purchsed. I also purchased eight nos 8 TR s for our office in Delhi.

                                I would therfore like to complain that since you did not give second service in time and a prt of the AC is out of order you should replace it make my AC operable.

                                  I have bought a 1.5 ton window ac from Voltas. Ever since I enquired about the dealer networt I have been facing problem with Voltas sales and aftersales service at every stage.

                                  This is the worst company I have ever interacted with. They are not bothered about the customer and are not responding to any emails. Their exclusive dealer "Gharcool Enterprises" in Thane has overcharged me and I need some clarifications from the company but unfortunately they have choosen not to respond and let the matter die a slow death

                                  I have finally managed to get a invoice copy from your authorised Dealer - Gharcool, on Friday Evening.
                                  While buying the AC I was comitted a price of Rs.16890/- plus octroi which would work out to Rs.17669/- which was promptly paid by me. Obviously if it is price + octroi then octroi receipt is required to be handed over to me. However, I was shocked when Gharcool handed over to me a invoice for Rs.17669/- against a comitted price of Rs.16890/- for Tata Employees.

                                  How can the dealer bill me on a higher price under the pretext of this including octroi [which was supposed to be a reimbursement]. How can octroi be charged under Basic Price + VAT. Obviously, he has not paid any octroi on the AC which was delivered to my house. He had comitted a installation charge of Rs.350/-, however I have been submitted a receipt of Rs.500/- twds the same.

                                  Even today, the installation report is pending. I have been handed over a installation report which has the name and the address of some other customer. My warranty card has also not been filled up by the dealer. I donot know my compressor serial no.

                                  I am attaching the docs which have been given to me by Gharcool. I am the person who is being harrassed by the Dealer and when I brought these ir-regularities to his notice, he started accusing me of settling some kind of scores. I am not one of the silent sufferer hence taking this issue with Voltas Management.

                                  My demands are not excessive. I am demanding my rights as a customer. After I have paid the money to a authorised dealer, I am supposed to get proper docs and the product delivered and installed at my house. These are basic rights of a customer.

                                  I would like to know
                                  1) Will my warranty be registered without the dealer filling up the warranty card
                                  2) Can the dealer charge me more than the price listed down for Tata Employees. I have not yet paid his installation charges since he seems to have overcharged me on the Invoice.
                                  3) Is Voltas not responsible for any of the acts and behaviour of his authorised dealer and take corrective action.
                                  4) Is it a crime to fight for your Basic Right as a Customer.

                                  I am writing this mail to you after almost 12 days. I have not yet received Invoice Copy and the Octroi receipt, for which amount has been collected from me by the Dealer. I have been calling up the Dealer every alternate day and except for one day on which he offered to come to my house late in the night, nobody has visited me.

                                  My warranty card has not yet been filled up by the dealer - Gharcool [Vikram].

                                  This is really frustrating. I have nothing more to add. You can very well judge the service provided by your authorised dealer and the customer response. Everybody doesnot have the resources to get in touch with company officials. I have checked with couple of my friends who have VOLTAS AC and the after sales service feedback has been quite poor, quite understandable by the way your authorised dealer is behaving.

                                  Hi,
                                  I am working for Titan Industries limited. I am a TATA EMPLOYEE. I stay in Kalyan [West] and I had to purchase a 1.5 ton Window AC and I was in a hurry. I visited some of the local shops and VIJAY Sales. There were exciting offers on all the ACs except for VOLTAS. Llyod had just introduced its AC in the market and were available at almost 40% discount to VOLTAS. However being a TATA Employee I thought I should purchase a TATA product.
                                  I registered myself to the TATA WORLD and manage to get a list of authorised dealers for VOLTAS. I contacted Gharcool Enterprises in Thane [W]. I spoke to Vikram the person managing the shop [may be the owner] and told him about my requirements. I also told him about the urgency. He assured me that he will get the AC delivered within 2 days at my house against a cheque payment {cheque amount Rs.17669/-} and a copy of identity card.
                                  I handed over the cheque to him on March 19th 2010 at my residence. RN No 947 has been issued to me by Gharcool Enterprises. I had the the electric connection and the space required for fitting the AC in place. I was told that the frame would require some modifications and the wood needs to be filled inside the hollow aluminium frame. I was told by Vikram that he would arrange for the carepenter within a day and get the AC installed by Sunday or latest Monday.
                                  My agony started from there. There was no sign of the carpenter. I started following up with him and he kept assuring me that the carpenter would visit my house any moment. It went on till Monday afternoon. Monday evening a person called me up claiming to be a carpenter and assured me he will be at my house by 7.00 pm. Again my chase started and with every phone call I was assured that the carpenter would be at my house in next half an hour. Ultimately at 10:30, I decided that this is enough and I took a day off on Tuesday and arranged for the carpernter and got the work done. All this while the Shop Owner - Vikram had stopped attending my phone calls. I managed to get in touch with him on Tuesday afternoon and was assured that the AC would get delivered any moment. This went on till late evening after which I lost my cool and called up your call centre and spoke to the senior team.
                                  Vikram landed up at my house at around 10 p.m. with the AC which was delivered against DC No 840 /23.03.10
                                  AC Serial No is 4010903A09L034763. I was not handed over the Invoice and the Octroi receipt for which payment has already been collected from me. I was told that the installation would be done on the next day i.e. 24th Mar 10 and someone by the name Bhavesh would visit my house for installation. The AC has been dumped in my Bedroom.
                                  I started calling up yesterday evening when no one turned up in my house for installation. I was assured that the person is on his way and would reach my house in next 15 minutes. This went on till 9:15 p.m. He stopped attending my phone calls after that and I kept on waiting till 11:00 p.m. after which i gave up. I have got 2 small kids in my house who were also getting impatient along with me.
                                  Till now he has not switched on his mobile and is not picking up his landline. His contact nos are

                                  HAD I known this is how VOLTAS treats its TATA employee CUSTOMERS, I would have never dared to order for a VOLTAS AC. This is the worst experience with VOLTAS and no wonder people opt for foreign brands like LG and Samsung instead of VOLTAS.
                                  If you feel that I have not been treated properly please blacklist this dealer and ask him to apologise. The least I would expect is that the Company personnel attends me for a installation on a urgent basis and restore my confidence in VOLTAS - a TATA Company. Tata companies are known for being customer friendly.
                                  I would not hesitate to escalate this matter to BOMBAY HOUSE, incase i am not serviced as per the TATA Culture. I have taken photographs of the manner in which the AC has been dumped in my bedroom.

                                  VOLTAS — Regarding non attend of complaint of Window type 1.5 ton A.C

                                  I have purchased window type1.50 tone Air Conditioner from Voltas Company on April .2009 and I have lodged complaint for its free service on October, November and December. But no company machanic has been attended this complaint till date.                                     I bought an AC (Brand - Voltas) from Croma, Aditya City Centre, Ghaziabad, U.P. on 11-April-2010. Since the day I bought it, I have been going thru very bad experiences with the store and Voltas. My image which was there for TATA has really gone down. It is one of the big mistakes in my life by choosing CROMA and VOLTAS.

                                    Below are the series of incidents happened since I bought it:

                                    1. Bought Voltas AC - Model Vertus Plus-I. Store: Croma, Aditya City Centre, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, U.P., Bill No:[protected], Dated: 11-April-2010.
                                    2. The offer was AC with Stabilizer.
                                    3. Delivered on 12-April-2010 without stabilizer between 2PM to 3PM.
                                    4. Followed up with store for stabilizer, they said it will be delivered in the evening. But not delivered in the evening.
                                    5. Followed up again on 13-April-2010 morning.
                                    6. Then they sent a person for installation with the stabilizer on 14-April-2010.
                                    7. The installation was done so badly that they broke the tiles at my home, made scratches at my wooden wall. They misbehaved my wife and mother.
                                    8. After complaining, the store manager sent someone for re-installation on 16th April 2010. It got re-installed properly but the damage that has been done was not taken care.
                                    9. Now, the NOISE coming from AC is very BAD. It makes horrible noise and I am NOT able to sleep and use the AC. I have complained so many times to the store and VOLTAS people and once they came to see the same. But, they could not rectify the problem. When the VOLTAS person came, I was not there at home as they did not give any prior phone call before coming. The person said, the mobile battery was not charged so he could not call.

                                      i have complaint on dated 26/4/2010 vide complaint no.10AP2605138 ON toll free number. After taht several times i have made a compaint and 4 days back they have given me mobile no.[protected] and replied received from this mobile on telelphonic conversation is not proper and no body has come to attend the complaint till date i.e.8/7/2010 upto 12.30 hrs.                                       Hi,

                                      I am Pawan Bansal ([protected]) Purchased the Voltas Window AC on 24 Apr 2008 in Sonipat, Haryana and with in 10 days AC was not working due to the faulty Compressor, after that the compressor was changed. Now this year again after when I tried to start the AC in the hot summers the AC is not working.

                                      I have logged a complaint on the toll free number on 16 June'10 (yesterday) and the complaint no is 10JU1501863

                                      Note: I am not a regular user of AC...I use my AC only when I visit to my home place for 10 to 15 days in a year, so you can imagim that the AC has not worked for more that 30 days in the last two years and this is the second time our AC is not working.

                                      I Suggest the company to pls get my AC repaired ASAP as the summer seaon is at its peak.

                                        IT IS A GREAT MISTAKE TO PURCHASE ANY VOLTAS PRODUCT.
                                        I HAVE PURCHASED ONE WATER COOLER DISPENSER NAMED VOLTAS MINI MAGIC PLUS FROM THE REGISTERED DEALER OF VOLTAS FROM NEERU ELECTRONICS 2 MAIN MARKET MALVIYA NAGAR NEW DELHI ON 2ND MAY 2010. IT WAS A PACKED PIECE. THE PIECE WHEN PLACED IN USE WAS VERY DEFECTIVE. THE COOLING CUT OFF DID NOT WORKED AT ALL. AFTER SEVERAL COMPLAINTS LODGED WITH THE COSUTMER CARE OF VOLTAS. IT TOOK 48 HRS FOR THE SERVICE CENTRE OF VOLTA M/S VINTAGE SHOP NO 15 BEGUMPUR TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT AND ON THE CONTRARY INSTEAD OF DOING GOOD HAVE SPOILED MY DISPENSER AND ARE NOT READY TO DO ANYTHING. MAY I ASK THE INDIAN CONSUMER TO PLEASE MAKE IT A POINT NOT TO BUY ANY VOLTAS PRODUCT. ALSO MY VOLTAS AC HAS BEEN SPOILED BY THIS SERVICE CENTRE. IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN REALLY ATTEND TO MY COMPLAINS. IS VOLTAS COMPANY NOT INTERESTED IN ITS REPUTED. IT IS BEYOND UNDERSTANDING ANY THING. ONLY GOD KNOWS WHEN WILL I GET MY VOLTAS ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE RECTIFIED.
