i have purchased a voltas 2 ton air conditioner on 14th of march 2011, recently on 5th may 2011 the outer unit of the air conditioner stopped working. I've gave complaint to the dealer and to TATA VOLTAS company through the phone, they assured me to send technician in 2 or 3 days. but till now there is no responce from either company or dealer. I'm losing money in as my business without a/c is not possible.

    I want to state my unfortunate story. I purchased a Voltas Windows AC named Vertis Curve from CROMA Palam Vihar on 6th May 2011. Croma ( Phone[protected] committed that they will install on 9th May 2011 by Voltas engineer. After calling numerous times, Croma suggested that Croma engineer will install the Air conditioner as voltas engineers do not have time. On 9th May 2011, the AC got installed, after which Air on starting made terrible noise. When I asked the installer that it is not installed properly. He tried to put some plywood inside the AC. This did not solve the issue.He suggested to call up Voltas and get the AC checked.

    I have called up Voltas customer care since 9th May till date 20 times. No Voltas engineer visited my house to solve the sound and vibration problem.
    My complaint nos is 11MY0901534, I have been told that Mr Navin will visit from DP Airconditioning.
    I am feeling frustrated with Voltas AC since day 1. I have another AC of different brand , they have amazing service.
    Voltas AC has zero after sales service. I don’t know how Ratan TATA is managing this company.

    VOLTAS Should change there slogan to India ka AC, EK BAR LE Rona Zindigi BHAR

    Anybody reading this article, I would suggest to buy a cooler rather that Voltas AC. Atleast you will save money.

    I want to thank Croma for replacing the AC on request. Croma has amazing service.
    Air Conditioner Service request not being addressed properly

    References : Service Request Number : 11MY0704632 dated 7th May, 2011, e-mail to [protected]@voltas.com dated 13/5/2011, e-mail to [protected]@Tata-bss.com dated 16/5/2011 and 18/5/2011, almost daily follow up at[protected] and[protected]

    My VOLTAS make, Vertis plus, window air conditioner stopped working in less than one year, I lodged the complaint at helpline numbers.After a lot of follow up Voltas technician visited my place on 11 May 2011 at around 7:00 p.m.

    Technician informed PCB is faulty and needs repair. Understanding quality of VOLTAS, I did not allow him to take PCB with him and asked for replacement.

    After that no body turned up from VOLTAS. I am regularly calling helpline number[protected] or[protected] to discuss the issue. I am writing mails even to their Corporate office. Except assurance, we are not getting anything.

    Their officials do not pick up phone.

    Now my prime concern is that Voltas will not attend the problem and I would have to scrap the AC.

    I sincerely urge not to opt TATA products. They are worst in quality and services

    I had logged a complaint (No: 12MY1908449) with Voltas Customer care on 19-May-2012 . Technician had attended this and stated fault with fan blade in outdoor unit. Until now the fan blade has not been replaced due to lack of stock as conveyed by the service centre . Has Voltas company stopped manufacturing Parts for the sold pieces? Being peak summer season, this complaint needs more attention and focus. I am totally unhappy with the voltas service and would never recommend it to anybody else.

      I have purchased Voltas Vertis Plus 1.5 ton AC 2 years back. Recently there was some problem with remote and it was not working properly. I logged a complain (No. 11AP2302171) on 24 April. On 25 April some guy from service dealer (Madhu Cool Centre) visited to my home and said remote need to be repaired and took the remote with him. Since then my remote is with service dealer and they don’t bother to reply.
      I talked to Voltas customer care again they said they will get it fixed but no action.
      I again talked to Voltas customer care and they gave me a new complain number 11MY0902542. But no action has been taken yet.
      The customer care at Voltas is useless and pathetic. It sounds funny but seems they have stolen my remote.

          i rajan verma purchase an ac dated 23/4/08 in 2009 its not working engeener came and says the motor have to be discarded dated 20/4 2009 and he changed the motor in gauranty period now the same problem have occured i complainted and my complaint no.10MY2704729 engeener came and he changed the motor he charged Rs1800 now compressor work for 1/2 an hour and stop for 5 minutes i again complained it the engeener says that your p.c.b is faulted now what can i do i have purchased a ac or aproblem from tatamy bill no.5555 from grover electronics nangal raya new delhi-46 if there is no solution i will go to consumer court answer me at [protected]@yahoo.inor my phone no.           TATA Voltas AC — NOT GIVING PROPER WARRANTY

          I HAVE PURCHASED AC OF VOLTAS ON 7.5.2008 FROM SAURASHTRA ELECTRONICS, BAPUNAGAR AHMEDABAD,AC'S COMPRESSOR'S 5 YEAR WARRENTY. SOME DAYS AGO ITS STOP COOLING, SO I HAVE CALL ON VOLTAS COSTOMER CARE ABOUT MY WARRENTY. THEY HAVE SEND ONE TECHNICAL MAN AT MY OFFICE, HE SAY THE COMPRESSOR IS DOWN, SO YOU HAVE TO REPLACED THEM, I SAY OK BUT HE SAYS YOU HAVE TP PAY GAS FEELING CHARGES ALSO 2800/-RS, ALTHOGH THERE IS NO GAS FEELING REQUIRED, AND GAS FEELING CHARGES IS NORMALLY AROUND 1500/- BUT I HAVE NO LICKEGE IN MY COMPRESSOR WITH GAS, SO COMPANY ITS A SIMPLY A CHETING ON NAME OF WARRENTY BY VOLTAS, KINDLY PLS SOLVE MY PROBLEM EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

            I have purchased ac from reliance hypermartlimited- faridabad voltas sac 5200w 2 star classic 4501242on 1st may 2011. the same has been delivered on 5th may 2011 againt comitment delivery on 3rd may.
            till date its not installed and your technician has come to my home and after cmplete the installation process they hv find the same is defect.
            I have very much harouse by voltas technician, mobile no: [protected].
            also reliance refuse to replace the same and said that after delivery thier responcibilty is over.
            now i need to replace the same by tomorrow, otherwise i will go to consumer court and claim the entire losses .

                I bought VOLTAS 1.5 ton ac @ RATHNA FAN HOUSE CHENNAI T NAGAR, THEY TOLD THE NEXT DAY THE SERVICE PEOPLE WILL COME AND FIT THE AC, BUT THEY TOOK AROUND 4 DAYS AFTER WE MADE 10 CALLS AND REQUESTED. WE BOUGHT THE AC IN MARCH,2011.. BUT IN MAY 1ST, THE FAN(PROPELLER) OUTDOOR UNIT WAS BROKEN INTO PIECES, WE CALLED THE CORRSPONDING SERVICE PROVIDER (RITE AIRCONS - VOLTAS AUTHORISED SERVICE PARTNER) AND COMPLAINT AND THEY TOLD, TODAY WE WILL PUT REQUEST TO VOLTAS FOR NEW FAN PIECE AND NEXT DAY WE WILL COME AND FIX IT. BUT THEY DIDNT CAME. WE HAV MADE AROUND 60 PHONE TO THE SERVICE CENTERS, THEY TOLD PIECES CAME NEXT DAY WE WILL COME AND FIX IT. PLS BEAR.. ALMOST 8 DAYS WAS OVER, BUT THEY DIDNT MAKE UP, LASTLY THEY TOLD IN ANOTHER 1 HR WE WILL COME AND FIX IT. WE WAITED FOR 5 HRS, THEY DIDNT CAME. WE CALLED SERVICE CENTER MGR AND COMPLAINTED, THEY LOOKED AND TOLD, SIR, THE FAN PIECE THAT CAME WAS NOT UR MODEL, SO PLS BEAR WE WILL PUT NEW RQST AND IT WILL COME IN NEXT 2 DAYS. WE DONT KNOW WHAT WE DO. ITS AGNI NATCHARAM TIME.. ITS 107 DEG IN CHENNAI. WE HAV PREGNANT LADIES IN HOME. DONT KNOW HOW TO BEAR IT. PLS DONT GO FOR VOLTAS.. (SERVICES THE WORST i HAVE EVER SEEN).

                Rite aircons is the most horrible service center. I bought Voltas from Ratna stores in December 2011 and it has a repair just in four months of purchase. The rite aircons people blaming ratna and they have not yet fixed the repair. its 15 days since the complain has been registered. The operational manager one Subramanium is rude and irresponsible. He has been telling to me and my relatives that he will attend or call us back. Yet he hasn't attended to or did fix the repair. I hope some day we get better service center.
                Wow I am not surprised with the above comments, I bought a Voltas
                AC from Ratna Fan house and the same stupid Rite Aircon was introduced to
                service the Machine, this man Subramanian is the worst lying hooligan I have
                ever seen in my life, what a pathetic human being is he… my AC stopped working
                during the AMC period and I complained, they show up after 10 days and told me
                the swing motor is dead, this Subramanian promised to replace the motor
                in 4 days, and it is 7 months now, he offered 2 free service which I am capable
                of doing for my AC, whenever I call him, his mother will be in hospital or
                serious, he is so aged, but lying and cunning… I hope god punishes this
                with the worst ever punishment for cheating on so many o[censored]s and not sure how
                many more he is cheating on

                  i have purchased a split ac (model VOLTAS VERTIS ELITE). when my electrician tried to install it he found that motor in the AIRCONDITIONER OUTDOOR MOTOR IS MISSING.i called the distributor 100 times( R K DISTRIBUTOR NEAR SATYAM CINEMA) BUT OF NO USE.I BOUGHT AC ON 2 MAY AND TODAY IS 8 MAY.I M SUFFERING FROM MENTAL TENSION DUE TO THIS.                     We had purchased two AC unit on invoice date 29.11.2010 vide invoice no [protected] from PANT NAGAR WORKS, Unit-II, Plot no. 1, Sector-8, IIE Pant Nagar for installation at IDBI Bank Ltd. Tarn Taran(Punjab).The same was installed in the month of December 2010.

                    When the AC season is just started we came to know that AC unit is not working properly and after consistent following up with your departments, last week one engineer came from chandigarh unit confirmed us that AC unit is not working due to gas leakage problem is there owing to installation fault. As per our telephonic conversation with Mr. Rishi (one of your dealer at chandigarh unit) has told us that I cann't give such a prompt service because till date we have not received dues from IDBI Bank Ltd.

                    From last one week again we are regularly following up with your company but nobody takes the pain to solve this issue.

                    However I had also logged a complaint for the same on the help line of your company on 05th May, 2011 vide complaint no. 11MY0500842 and again we are following up with them to solve this problem, but till date my complaint is lying unattended in spite of many assurances from the Company of attending the same within 24 working hours.

                    From the very first day, every person of your company assure us to solve this issue with in 24 hrs. But we don't know, how many 24 hrs were left for getting the solution from your company.

                    I never expect such a worst service from TATA enterprises.

                    Voltas Ltd — Complaint lodged not taken care of

                    I have purchased two split AC fromVOLTAS Ltd.on 29.01.2010 outdoor unit of one of the same with srlno 4511071p09F015983 use to have defective colours as result of its colour have come out in the formof a thik layer (from the attached photo the same can be seen)
                    the following complaints lodged severaltimes and no action has been taken

                        Dear sir , i purchesed window ac 1.5 ton voltas vertis plus for my pathology lab on 27 / 07 / 2010 form chandra air condisner , krishna market , shop no. 1 , jalesar road , firozabad . The complain was register on 30/04/2011, with id no. c2081174 . As you know , the summer temp. is crossing 45 degree and working in lab with out ac is very difficult . My lab instrument is not working properly .
                        I purchesed your machin only for name TATA , but it is very shocking for me to wait for service such a long time .
                        i want immediate action on this matter .

                          Sir, I had purchased one Voltas Split AC(1.5 ton) & two Voltas window Ac(1.5 ton) from M/S Raj Electronics, Shop no-G-4-5, Sec-12, Dwarka on 24.04.2011.Same were installed on 25.04.2011, however grill of one window ac was broken. Complaint for the same was lodged with no-11AP2507977 but till date it has not been replaced. Again afterb two days split ac is not functioning/cooling. Though complaints have been lodged under s.no 11MY0301480 & repeated by no 11MY0404649, however no response has come yet. Complaint has also been lodged on the Voltas site, but no response from there also. I feel cheated by spending nearly Rs 70,000/- in purchasing above three ACs. Voltas can not be trusted any more.

                          Just feel the pain that items purchased of Voltas made are Sub-standard & no one from their end is doing anything to correct it.

                            I purchased Voltas AC from you in the year 2010. At the very beginning of installation of A/C not functioning properly. We requested so many times for its service/replacement. Your company engineers visited the house many times but could not set right the A/C. Ultimately the A/C back was replaced by another AC. But by replacing the AC the problem could not be solved as the AC installed also not functioning properly. The Engineer of your company have tried to set right the defect but could not set right the same with the result.

                            We request you once again to please take personal interest and ensure that the AC is got set right within 2 days. If it is not repairable the same may be replaced immediately. In case it is not done, we shall have no option but to approach the Consumer Court for a relief.

                            VOLTAS — COOLING NOT DONE

                            WE HAVE VOLTAS VERTIES SPIT AC 1.5 TON IT HAS COMPLAINT FROM MANY DAYS IT COULD NOT COOLING PROPERLY. WE COMPLAINT AT LOCAL CENTER THEY UNABLE TO REPAIR IT.
                            PLEASE REPAIR AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

                              Dear sir,
                              I have purchased an Airconditioner of Voltas (1.5 Ton,split AC) vide its dealer M/S Harisharan & Sons,14 A Kamla Nagar,Opposite Birla Mills,new delhi 110007 on 17 April 2011.Just after installation we have started feeling that cooling is not proper so we complaint to the company they checked it and told that there is some leakage of gas thats why cooling is not proper they guided us to call to the dealer.we complaint the dealer but he refused to accept that gas has leaked from compressor.After that we are just moving pillar to post. we are moving from Voltas to its Dealer but nothing happened.After investing around 32,000 rupees we got a poor quality AC that Compressor has the leakage.Now neither they are repairing it nor they are ready to replace it.Seeking your guidance to what to do.

                                10 months ago we have bought an ac voltas vertis plus . in recent 20 days this ac has gone for repair for 2 times for gas leakage and compressor problem.
                                it is 5th day when they service provider mobile no.[protected] is daily assuring us to deliver the ac but not delivering even now not picking up the phone.
                                you can see the tempreture now what is the use to buy this products. moreover this is now under waranty.

                                  I have purchase on 9/07/2010 voltas split ac from Frontline Electricals,Agra After few days dealer is not coprate to instal the ac and the same i have instal some other,after few days over all perfomance was not not good in cooling than i have charge gas also with 1400 rs and that was in warranty pereioud,and now NO ANY service is done by the dealor.On 26/04/11 i have again complain to Frontline Electricals regarding the cooling but till date 2/05/11 they are not attending.kindly help us......My name is SAKET SARASWAT AND THE CELL NO.IS [protected]

                                    we had bought a voltas split AC of 1.5Ton capacity. we had launched a request for service on Dt. 08th April 2011, during service the blower of the AC was broken by the technician from M/s Weather Comfort, Faridabad. Now from last 15-20 days we are chasing with the weather comfort but he is not changing the blower of the AC and just linger on.

                                      Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                      I had purchased a Voltas AC (Sl no.- 4010967G10F047666) – 1.5 ton Window (Vertis Plus) on 23/3/2011 along with a stabilizer 4kva from Dealer-M/s Hazrat Vision, Sector-8, Rohini. The same was installed on 27/3/2011 by Mr Naushad (mobile no.-[protected]) who was sent by the dealer as company person for installation. The installation was done with electric connection fixed and AC was working fine.

                                      Further, a DEMO was done on 5/4/2011 at 5:12 pm via no.- 412801 (call slip no.- 11AP[protected] by Mr Satish Kumar, he found installation perfectly ok and AC was working fine.

                                      However, on 30/4/2011 when I was to use personally for the first time , it do not start neither stabilizer was on. I had called the dealer who in turn locked a complaint at Voltas call centre via no.-11AP3009034 (customer Id-C2005352). The executives from voltas came on 1/5/2011 (mobile no. of one executive-[protected]) and tested the AC during which some spark came out of the socket and I was told that I need to check with electrician since wiring is to be done and MCB switch is to be fixed. Their behavior was rude and not satisfactory and were in too much hurry without listening anything.

                                      I fail to understand that when installation was ok, demo was ok and there were no issues at that time and no need was given to fix a MCB switch then where am I at fault and if it is to be done then installation team should be called to take care. On conveying this to dealer he refused.

                                      Would request to resolve the issue which has led to complete dissatisfaction of service.

                                      Lets all here not just end up in writing here. Lets register a case against VOltas Ac service. Mine Ac is just 18 days old now, and has stopped working.

                                      I am facing an issue with voltas too. Bought AC on 12/5/2011 & despite n number of followups its not installed by now. 12 was a thursday so i thought it would be insatlled by saturday when i would be at home. to my surprise its tuesday today & its not been installed.

                                      I bought it from reliance mart, Faridabad & they assured it to be installed within 48 hours. The AC was delivered in roughly 53 hours. (Bought 12/5/2011 11am..delivered 14/5/2011...4 pm). To my surprise when i called Reliance Mart As when the AC will be installed they said it would take 48 hours more as request has to be raised. Utter nonsense. Why it could not be done from Reliance Mart when i bought it.

                                      I filed installation request at Voltas : Request Code: 11MY1504138 on Sunday 15/5/2011.

                                      They said it would be by monday 16/5/2011. The number on the booklet 6000 4555 in which they say to add std code is incorrect number for delhi code 011. the other number[protected] toll free is pathetic service. I was calling this number since afternoon of 16/5/2011. MOst of the time the number is busy. one can reach the customer care executive after 15-20 mins...after around 50 tries and 20 min hold on phone i could talk to an executive at around 8 pm who confirmed that ac would be installed by 12 noon today. from 11 am im trying voltas toll free its coming consistently busy.

                                      i dint hope such pathetic service from voltas which comes from TATA stable. I contacted relinace mart service centre, they asked whether i have raised the issue at Voltas. On my agreement they said, its delay from Voltas service, kindly persist.

                                      I am simply frustrated on this behaviour of their modern retail partner Reliance Mart, Faridabad & their own service centre. Its 6 days & ac is un installed. God knows what will happen if any issue comes in AC repair in near future.

                                        Sir, I have purchased one Voltas Split AC 1.5 ton Vertis Gold Model (Indoor Unit No.; 4551025/m/08/f/002194 and outdoor unit number 4510944/m/09/a/003396) dated[protected] vide invoice number: 3545 from G.P Enterprises, Sabharwal Market, Opp. Masjid, Hall Bazar, Amritsar. From the date the AC is installed the problem persists in the AC as it doesn't make cooling. I contacted the dealer many times and every time mechanic has come and made some work on it and the AC works for one or two months but again the problem persists. I think the dealer is linger on time. I know the warranty/gaurantee period expires but dealer linger on time by convincing me that he will make it normal. Please look into matter and replace the AC.

                                        im purchased voltas s/ac vertis platina 1.5 ton.till i purchased im not satisfied with my ac not cooling at all even in 16 degree initially the product replaced new unit, even this one year we made 9 times on services for indoor unit leakage problem but till now same problem continues, please contact my mobile no:[protected].
                                        i never expect the tata product like this my service personnel is sri maruthi aircon those technician services is very poor arrange some hify technical persons or else i need new unit, poor performance of the ac
