I had purchased vu android 49" led tv in aug 2018 from flipkart for rs. 41000.in sept 2019, as soon as the warranty was over, my tv started showing black and white bands and in couple of days lost the entire picture. I had vu service engineer inspect the tv and he said that its a problem with the led display panel and it has to be replaced at the cost of rs. 25500.

This shows how reliable their products are. A tv that costs 41000/- lasts bearly for a year and then they happily ask us to pay another 25000/5 for repairs.

Please please please.. Avoid buying vu tvs.. You might think i am someone from their competitor but believe me i am just a totally disgruntled customer..

    I bought a vu 32 in smart tv on 2016. Since 3 years i dnt face any problem from last month i am facing that my remote getting slow and finally remote not working.

    So i contact vu customer care and they send a service engineer. I think they dnt have quality service engineer. They can't even fine pbm in tv sensor or in mother board and they doing trail and error method that changed sensor and same pbm exist. So the doubt on tv mother board.
    As my tv is out of warranty they are request me to bring tv to their service center after contact customer service they have taken my tv
    It almost 7 days over. When ever i contact that service centre they said that 'as your tv is old one so we r not getting spare parts" (I dnt know how they tell 3 year back model is old one)

    They r purposefully making delay in order to buy warranty /amc. I got to know this matter after talking to service engg manager. Their aims to make money on that..

    So i argue to service manager to provide stand by tv. And i contact vu customer care also. Both r refuse to provide stand by..

    End of they i am getting bad opinion on vu tv.. Here after i went refer my friends and family to buy vu tv.

      Herewith i am complaining about my new television (Brand Name - Vu)(Model No :H40K311)problem is scratch occurred on left side corner of my TV, i dont know how how this is happened.so kindly take a look and repute the service technician to solve this issue as soon as possible

        I bought a 49" vu 4k smart tv 1 year back and now there is a problem with the display panel (Vertical lines on the screen). Since the warranty is only for 1 year, the engineer says that its a display pane or mother board l issue and they say that it can't be repaired and the panel or mother board has to be replaced which costs around rs. 5, 000/- for the mother board first and they don't have confirmation on the panel. This is pure cheating from vu company as they are selling cheap quality products which don't even last for 2 years! Customer care team say that it happens in some tvs, but looking at the complaints, looks like with vu tvs, it happens with 50% of their tvs!!! It is definitely an issue of their poor manufacturing quality, so why should the customer be at loss!
        I did not put my hard earned money rs. 45, 000 to go down the drain.

        I request the consumer forum team to support and save me. As we are a middle class family and i cannot afford another or any cost for repair of it not so soon. Vu brand is very bad.

          I bought a Vu TV from flipkart 3 years back and suddenly the picture tube (panel) went black, after three days of continuous follow up with the customer service and engineer was sent who said that the panel is dead and we have to replace it at a cost of Rs 26500. When it is difficult for the company to send a service engineer for 3 days what guarantee is there that they will replace the panel after payment. The local manager himself admitted that the complaint was booked on 11th and engineer was sent on 13th. No doubt we were cheated but we should put our comments on amazon and flipkart so that no other person would purchase such a sub standard product for which service is not good

            Our new vu tv suddenly stopped working last friday i have created a ticket :vu7449781 and called 5 times in the service center however, no one turned up... How to esclate this and how to get my tv working back it's not been 1 years.. I have bought 2 tv instaed of 1 the other one with 43 inch has not yet opened don't know where it's in working condition or no... Such a pothectic service why you sale your products when you can't make the promises fulfil.. Now as you have recived your money let the "customer go to hell" is your policy.

            It's quite frustrating.

              I purchased vu smart tv of your esteemed company which was delivered to me on 18/05/2019.
              Since then i m facing problems of installation.
              I contacted to your customer care centre from where i m getting assurance of 48 hours.
              Before four day they provided me phone number [protected] and told me to contact the said person for installation.
              Last four days i m contacting to the said person and he is replying very rudely and only giving answer of time passing.
              Sir now i am fed up on your service and want to return your tv.
              Pl. Let me know where and how i can return the same purchased tv to your company.

                I bought a 43" VU 4k smart TV 2 years back and now there is a problem with the display panel (vertical lines on the screen). Since the warranty is only for 1 year, the engineer says that its a display panel issue and they say that it can't be repaired and the panel has to be replaced which costs around Rs. 25, 000/- and they don't have confirmation on the panel availability can be only confirmed once i send them the money. This is pure cheating from VU company as they are selling cheap quality products which don't even last for 2 years!                 customer care also offered buyback option in that they will give you 3000 rupees only of your.

                  I ordered VU official Android TV from flipkart(https://tinyurl.com/y3urwdm2) on Thu, Oct 11th '18 which got deliever on Fri, Oct 19th '18.
                  Since Amazon prime and Netflix are not officially supported on this TV, at that time I don't have an external device to test HDR/4K content.
                  Few months later I bought an Amazon 4K firestick to watch HDR and 4K content on this set.

                  While playing HDR content I found that TV is not able to played the HDR content properly[See images attached with Netflix logo]. I contacted VU support and registered a complaint for the same.

                  First technician contacted me during my office hours. Since I am also working I asked him to either come on weekend or come before 10 in the morning or after 6 in the evening. For one week, he always keeps calling me during office hours(around 1PM).
                  Finally VU closes the complaint without any resolution. I contacted them again and registered a new complain. They assigned new technician and that finally visited to check the problem. He agreed at my place that the picture quality is off and promise to come on Monday(as sunday is off for these guys). On Monday, I receive another message that my complain is closed.

                  I registered another complain with them and asked them to look into it. I received a call from their technical team. I explained her the issue, she informed me that the issue is with the content. When I inform her that the issue is with all the HDR content on Netflix/Amazon Prime/Youtube, she told me that she will contact me back with the resolution. After some time(around half an hour ), I again receive a message that my complain has been closed.

                  I registered another complain and then shouted for a technician visit for the problem, they agreed to send the technician. Technician arrived at my place on Saturday. He saw the problem and try to change some settings. After trying for few minutes, he calls his senior which again asked him to change some settings. When he couldn't resolve the issue, he also repeats the same thing, it is the content issue. I asked them if it's the content issue then this content should not come proper in any of the TVs.[At this time, I had already confirmed that there is not problem in my firestick by plugging it into my friends TV(VU iconium 4K) which plays the HDR content fine.] He doesn't have answer to that and keep repeating it's the content issue. I asked him to play the content of his choice and show me that is being played properly, he doesn't have answer to that and keep repeating it's the content issue.

                  I contacted customer care and they told me that they will talk to technical team about it and will inform me on Next Monday. Since, I am already frustrated with them I told them that I will call you on Tuesday instead of Monday but I need an update. I called them on Tuesday; after talking to 3-4 customer executives and explaining them the issue again and again I hear the same reply that it's the content issue. Finally frustrated with their gimmicks I asked them to provide me this information on the email thread. They promised that I will receive the information on email thread by same day evening.
                  I didn't get any information for 2 days. I contact them again and again for 4 hours. Every time they keep saying that We will update in half an hour.

                  Finally, I contact them again and asked them to give their response on the email. Customer care says I am irritating them as I keep calling them. Yet, I have not seen any response from them.

                  I am not sure if VU even comes unders consumer forum.

                      I have brought vu lcd tv on date 16th nov-2015 and 2 days back pane screen got dead. I have lodge complaint through customer care. Today technician visit and said panel is gone so cost will be around 9000/-.

                      How come with in 3 year panel get dead?? Very poor quality of lcd tv. Feeling like cheated by company.

                        I bought a new vu television in feb 5, 2018 and there have no issue for 10 months but after that suddenly his display have been pass off then i had complaint but the same condition faced 3 times after the first complained the same problem faced but result will be disapoint me. This is 5th time problrm faced and the vu television said me its not our mistakes it yours mistake. At that time the waranty time of tvs have been ended. So vu television said me the chargeable at that time the same situation faced 4 times before in only two months.

                          I bought this vu h40k311 television from a croma store in chennai on 6th december 2018. My registered mobile number is [protected]. After i received the product, with in couple of days the remote is not working. I called the service person and he said to claim the warranty. Then i claimed the warranty, after a long struggle and several followups with customer care and vu service centers (Abhiramipuram & chengalpet), i got the remote delivered from them. But again the new remote is not working on the same day itself. Now once again the service person asked to claim the warranty to replace with a new remote. Still i keep waiting to hear from vu technologies. Now i keeping this television as a toy for a month with out using and enjoying. Due to this i face so many problems among my family members.
                          No new brand product comes with this manufacturing defect in a singe day itself. This vu is the worst product i had ever seen and their service is even more worst. If this problem persists i gonna file a case against them for cheating the consumers.

                            I have purchased 43inches 4K-LED TV, with in one month I am facing technical problems but Customer care and Service centers not responding even though many complaints and always asking 2-3 days to close the issue some times with out rectifying sending messages your issue has closed.

                              I have purchased VU LED Smart TV 109 cms (43") in 2016 for INR 38K. This expensive TV was never able to play YouTube till date. Whenever I try to install YouTube APP is always displays download pending and never able to finish it completely.
                              Sometime it displays please update Google Play Services message while installing APPs and when I try to install Google Play Services, it says the version of Google Play Services is not compatible with your device.
                              Does 38k worth TV is incapable to installing Google or Google related Apps?
                              I have contacted VU TV customer care multiple times but this issue was never resolved.
                              VU Team if you are listening, then I want you to realize that INR 38K is a huge price for a smart LED TV and I didn't get the expected YouTube APP installed successfully on this smart TV.
                              LED TV Model is 43S6535. Product Name is VQ81617.
                              Why VU sells TV as smart when the TV even doesn't install YouTube app? Please guide me to resolve this issue. Case id: VU343056.

                                On VU TV Web Website to claim warranty it says Enter Serial Number of LED TV to check warranty status but when I Enter Serial Number of my Vu Led TV Model no - 32k160M it shows or gives a message NO DATA FOUND.
                                I have emailed Vu support many times for this error they didn't resolve my issue & I called them also.
                                So kindly resolve this issue so I can avail warranty or check my Vu Led TV warranty by entering serial number on warranty...

                                Its the worst experience ever one can go through. The service center and support team is very pathetic. Inspite of multiple mails to the support team and even to the ceo devita there is no respite for the customers.

                                I have bought a vu 49 inches smart tv and it lasted only for two year only and the mother board went off. On requested for replacement of motherboard as paid service there is no response for 3 months. Finally there are proposing to replace with a new tv panel for 23000 rupees while the change of motherboard will cost only 6000 rs. The reason they give is there is no motherboard available for the two year old model tv.

                                This is highly unacceptable. Also the brand vu california is also not right. The registered brand is india mumbai which is part of zenith. Such pathetic tv brands should be brought to light and consumers should avoid buying these tvs

                                  It has been the worst experience dealing with the service centre and the business. Very poor staff coordination who are so insensitive towards a senior citizen who has been calling up, following up for the past fortnight to get a tv replaced and repaired. It is highly unacceptable, that we are under the warranty period and are requesting for a technician on an urgent basis, but it takes the company 15 days to rectify and just assign someone??
                                  Disgraceful to the entire team who has no concern for their customers. We demand an explanation for what is the reason to not assign anyone in 15 days after such rigorous followup. There are mails sent, calls made?? Shame shame

                                    Vu has the worst customer service. Sometimes it's like they doing fraud. There is an issue with backlight. We asked them service it, they asked 2000 rs, later they changed it to 6000 then 12000 and 35000. They want to loot us. They never come on time. Finally they placed the backlight and it got repaired again. Now they charged 6000 rupees and again it got repaired. Mrs sabapathy from chennai and mr basha have absolutely no worries. They just tell customer to buy new tv. I am from pondicherry, in my street there are 25 houses have vu tv and everyone has the defect. Thier executive come to our house and tell it's the issue with everyone what can they do. They are such irresponsible people. Vu is worst do not buy. When people like sabapathy and basha are in top hierarchy and they don't care about customers. Hope vu find better product and better people.. Because thier employees are looting people

                                      TV is under warranty, they are forcing to accept physical damage & for repairing the TV on chargeable basis TV price 26000 Repairing cost 19500 they forcing to pay they not ready to repair the TV in warranty

                                      Please rectify the same at the earliest in sites there are multiple co, paint about display

                                      & VU service center forcefully costing almost 80-90 % cost of the TV
