From yesterday no power in Pailan. From yesterday I called you and also raised complain but they told technisia already worked but now they told that today this problems was not solved, tomorrow morning they solve it.
That mean today we have to stay without electricity. We don't have light, fan, all phones are battery low no water without pump.please do something immediately.
Voltage was fluctuations and othar time current was gone.
You know?
In CESC area power cut was not happened.
But in wbsedcl area electricity was not happened.
In both area bill was same but electricity was not same.
Today if electricity was not come our area was fully dark all phone was switch off.

    I have a WBSEDCL connection in my name (Indranil Roy Chowdhury) having consumer id as[protected]. I generally receive the hard copy of electricity bills at my address (i.e. 136, Nabatirtha, Ward No. 9, Kolkata 700129) and the soft copy of electricity bills at my email id (i.e. indranil.[protected]@gmail.com). I pay the bills quarterly using online method once I receive the bills and have done so regularly without any default.

    I haven't received any bills either at my home address or my email id for the bill months from February 2017 to April 2017 but someone from WBSEDCL came to my home and threatened to cut off our electricity with immediate effect. After this incident I immediately checked my online account and could see that an invoice having number as[protected] is generated. I have the following questions regarding this whole incident:-

    1) How am I supposed to know about the invoice if I do not receive the bills either at my home address or my email id which I have been receiving so far?
    2) The bill due date for the invoice is 14-March-2017 then how can a WBSEDCL representative threaten to cut off the power supply today i.e. 7-March-2017 which is before the due date?

    We have been using the electricity supply for more than 1.5 years and like any law abiding citizen of India have been paying the bills regularly. My parents were totally in shock and paid the amount in cash then and there without quarelling. I am out of town and my aged parents were embarrassed and insulted in front of the society by WBSEDCL. Is this the way how someone treats senior citizens?

    I want to know why the bills was not produced and send to me at my email id. Since I didn't recieve any bills or notofications then how am I guilty of defaulting any payment.

    Since I am out of town I want WBSEDCL to apologize to my parents for this incident either calling them at [protected] or personally at our home address else I will have no other option but to escalate this to higher authorities.

      WBSEDCL is a cheater it gives bill with written on it avail additional 1℅ rebate by paying online but when someone pays online forget about the rebate it charges more as transaction charge. I called on the toll free number to address the issue without even listening the issue in the middle of conversation I was told to goto office and line was cut....

      Sir,

      I regret to inform you that I am very glad that WBSEDCL have started accepting online payment and also by Bidyut Sahayogi app.

      But as our payment schedule is Quarterly ( 4 times in a year), it is very awkward and embarrassing to install the app and continue it. If the payment option can be available in Paytm, this difficulty will be removed. Moreover, Paytm gives many discounts. As a result, the customer of WBSEDCL and can easily pay the bill and they would feel very comfortable to pay the bill whatever be the amount of the bill, as well as the WBSEDCL bill payment option will be very convenient. Other Electric supply company like CESE limited, NPCL, MSPDCL, CSPDCL, MSEDCL etc has already started accepting payment by Paytm.

      Therefore, I reqest you to kindly consider this matter and avail the payment option by Paytm so that none of your customer feel the diffuculty.

        Sir i am pradip das with application no [protected] making payment of quotation money online, where my bill is 2800 but when done payment it deduct 2825.76. When i communicated with help line no executive mr pintu mondal says the extra money deducted by bank.
        As our pm says we are making cashless payment if it deduct extra cash so why we do the online payment.
        Please verify also grant my complain against it.

            I can't understand the problem. All time( each billing cycle) we are receving the hardcopy bill before 5-6 days of softcopy bill.You are counting from that date. Why not paying timely online? You should dispatch the three months bill at a time both.We are expecting it from your side.

                I would like to inform you that, myself Mr. Naba Kumar Sasamal, Service meter Consumer id[protected], Installation No - 8747542 respectively. This meter last three reading as follows:
                1.Reading date 15.08.2016, Unit reading -454 KWH
                2.Reading date 10.11.2016, Unit reading -528 KWH.
                3.Reading date 30.01.2017, Unit reading - 827 KWH.

                So 15.08.16 to 10.11.16 Electricity consumption - 74 Unit. & 10.11.16 to 30.01.17 Electricity consumption - 299 Unit.

                It is not possible 299 unit electricity consumption for the last bill period.

                I am requested you kindly check the above service meter as soon as possible to resolve this issue.

                      In front of my house one electric lamp post is leaning to our house and also some trees touching main wire, i complain the same to your zonal office - berhampore over telephone more then 3 times, my last complain no - 5377616 dt - 15/09/2016 and also i deposited the written complain for that to our local office on 03/11/2016 also i visit and meet to branch manager (Birnagar branch) more then 5 times. But still now work is pending.
                      If any type of accidental case for that who is the responsible.
                      There fore again i requesting you please take the necessary action as soon as possible either i go to consumer forma.

                        I am unable to make on-line-payment of Energy Bill dated 06.01.17 for the Bill period JAN'17 to MAR'17. Each time I open the sitePay Bill, it displays a message 'you do not have any unpaid outstanding'. I have been continually trying for the last 3 days; but every time same message is displayed.                             Why online payment portal of WBSEDC is defunct ? As I touch the confirm button for payment the site invariably hangs. Usually, I have to make payments for 5 services. Due to your inactive portal I am forced to make payments at a kiosk. The problem is nothing new. It is time to pay heed to it.

                              With due respect I would like to inform you that I am above said consumer residing at Genexx valley, Tower-28, Flat-11A, Joka, Kolkata-700104, received the current quarter bill (Dec'16 to Feb'17) which is totally unjustified and irregular because as per this current bill your concerned person taking the present meter reading dated 30.12.2016 is 8835 which is absolutely wrong, after seeing this abnormal meter reading I checked the meter with the help of an electrician along with our tower security guard on 01.01.2016 and found the correct reading 7657. I lodge a telephonic complain on 02.01.2017 to Mr. Debbindu, he assured me that concerned person will come and recheck the meter reading but till date nobody has came. Again I check the reading on 04.01.17 and get the reading 7669 (photo enclosed). As per your bill I have consumed 1741 units but it should be 575 units[protected] as on 04.01.17. Therefore my kind request to you that please recheck the meter by a suitable person and inform me at the time of checking for my satisfaction and rectify the bill as soon as possible so that I can pay the bill within due date. Your kind co operation is only expected.

                                  Consumer id is[protected] in the name of gopal shaw. i am being charged excessively more than i have consumed, due to wrong reading. As of now the actual reading is 2062 unit but the billing is as per 2805 unit. I lodged a complaint but the complain remaind unresponded and my connection has been dis continued without any proper clasification and notice. for ur information, the connection is pertaining to my business place and due to wbsedcl's mistake, my business is being hampered... I urge to entertain the case ASAP..

                                  My sbi bank is debited but in site WBSEDCL not reflect any receipt .Nov-16 outstanding still showing same .

                                    Present reading as per last invoice (Date of bill generation 03/12/2016) it is 5030.00, whereas i have attached photo for my meter reading taken on 17th december 2016. The amount claimed in the invoice is unexpected extremely abnormal and request you to visit the site and verify the same once again and please let me know the original bill and the payment dates etc once you fix the issue.

                                      Refund of extra amount for multiple times bill payment. Please refer the attachment. I made a payment on 7th Nov 2016. The transaction got rejected however the amount was deducted "twice" from my bank account.

                                      Hence please help me to refund the extra amount that was paid. WBSEDCL office only asked me to raise this complain with you.

                                      Both transaction of Rs 2346 got rejected. Hence total amount that is to be refunded is Rs (2346 * 2) = Rs 4692.
