Hi,
I bought a Western Digital My passport essential external Hard drive 3-4 months back.
Just after 1 month o[censored]sage , the drive went bad and sent it back to Western Digital's NCR office.
They said it is going to take 4 business days.
Even after 2 months of wait, repeated calls/emails , i am yet to get my Hard disk back.
Every week i call and there is some new excuse or the other.
Shipment didn't arrive, out of stock, public holidays etc.
You name it and they have the excuse.
The customer care fellows are so shameless, the put you on hold for checking the status and never come back on call.Poor customer has to call again!
I wish we had better system in India to fight against such companies.
I will suggest you to stay away from Western Digital and go for other companies.
Investing in WD products is wastage of time,money,efforts !
