I have purchased window AC on 22 Apr 2011. The model No. is 18G3R Royale 3* vide Invoice No. R-00285/11-12 from Fairdeal Electronics, Dwarka, New Delhi.As per the scheme, as a gift there was a pair of Reebok Shoes with this AC. Particular size of shoes was not available with the dealer so I could not get the gift.I was told that whenever the size come,s may be in next lot or may be in next to next lot, then I will get the gift.Accordingly , endorsement was made by the dealer that the Gift is pending.

After lodging my complaint at the helpdesk of Whirlpool I had recd a call from call centre that the size 7 shoes was available with the dealer and can be collected. Based on this , I had visited the Fairdeal Showroom but the size 7 shoes was not available. Instaed the dealer offered me Rs 450/- against the price of Rs 2000/- for the shoes. This fact was also intimated by Email ti Helpdesk of Whirpool on 23 May 2011 but till date there is no response.The dealer has also intimated that they do not have the Size 7 shoes even as of date (01 June 2011)
Please resolve this and let the company NOT WHIRPOOL the other Customers on such issues.

    I am a very dissatisfed customer of Whirlpool. I bought a 400 ltr double door fridge (model no 12085) on 7/2/11. The serial number of the product is INA[protected]. Within 4 months of purchase, the fridge has been repaired 5 times with the same problem of gas leakage and choke. I have again submitted a complaint yesterday and it has not been resolved till date. I am really surpised that a world class company like whirlpool will not change its product if it is giving the same compaint every week since purchase. Please tell me if there will be any response to my complaint and can this faulty fridge be please replaced. It has been purchased from new berco electronics, Dwarka on invoice number A-6066.
    Awaiting some response.

    my complaint no. hr[protected] still unresolved service centre at dlf phase 3 arian enterprises diagonised a problem with compressor charged rs 4400/- and changed it on 3.8.2011 .fridge still not working and calls going unanswered.Thereafter they told us that the new compressor is also not working and will be replaced again.on 14.08.2011without checking the refrigerator again one person called to say that the problem is something else and the fridge needs to go to the workshop and they will let us know a estimate of further expenses.are these people ou to haress customers.the only mistake i ever made is buying a whirlpool refrigerator
    I cannot believe belive what bad products and serice whirlpool provides. I think they should NOT be allowed to sell any more. My complaint number is MB[protected], I have a relatively new fridge and its stopped working out of the blue. The customer service has been delaying it saying "part not available". How can a new model part be not available for such a long time. i have been surviving without a fridge in this heat. im pretty sure im not letting anyone i know buy a whirpool EVER! let alone buying myself one. God knows how long i will have to deal with this patehtic customer service and part not available issue.

      Sir,

      This is to inform that the Indian subsidary of Whirlpool is really a dishonest and cheat organization. Not their product but their service is very substandard. They always give false hope and their middle management is fully skilled with customer negligence. A public awarness is required to completely throw this organization out. As a matter of fact, the incident became like this:

      I've purchased, a water purifier around 10 months back. This is still under warranty period. If I need to do the service, I need to pay to whirlpool engineer. As an example, to reinstall the water filter I need to pay Rs 600/- to service engineer where customer care people confirmed it's only Rs. 100/-. Even though they didn't turn up for 9 days. After giving call as part of follow up, today one of their store manager picked up the call and saying there is no call registered. But there is a call registered to install the water filter well in advance, 13th July 2011. However I've received Service Request Id on 20th May 2011 when I've requested for engineer visit to re-install the water purifier. Mr. Shekhar has been assigned for the Job and he has done the inspection of the place and asked for money (I don't know, should I call it bribe?)

      In fact customer care people also got training to put the customer on hold for indefinite people. To be honest, I started feeling that, we should buy a product based on custmer's feedback on service. I tried to reach customer care executive around 26 times and result is I need to purchase another weter purifier since whirlpool is doing cheating business.

          Dear All,
          Dont purchase whirpool products.I had purchased semi-automatic washing machine SuperWash I-65.
          It has a manufacturing defect & company has not taking any action.

          I had bought an automatic Washing Machine, Model Splash 9855, Chasis No: 1MB[protected], on 15th Feb 2009 from Home Care, 111 Sector 4, Vaishali, GZB, vide Bill No: 435. Since that day, there have been 4 service calls for the same issue. Every fortnight, the water is clogged at the outlet pipe and does not get drained properly. I have given calls to service helpline and everytime the engineer had to come and open the rear side of the machine and drain out the water. I have another automatic machine which does not have this issue. So I feel this is a manufacturing defect as this is a brand new machine. Please assist me in this regard as I do not feel calling an engineer every week for same issue will help.

            Complaint for fridge Whirlpool Proton 300 purchased from Unique Electronics, Lajpat Nagar. The fridge has been purchased 11 months back. The fridge stops working every month. When we complain to Whirlpool, their engineer comes, changes a part and assures us that it will not break down. But every time it stops working within a month.

            The fridge itself is a defective piece and should be replaced rather than replacing small parts every month. The fridge is within warranty.

              I have a Whirlpool 400 litre refrigerator which has had problems right from the begining. In 7 years of original + extended warranty, this is the third compressor and the 8th gas-refilling on the same

              I have a low cooling complaint , probably the gas pressure has reduced across 1 year again

              Ontop of this, 2 weeks back I had logged the complaint number HR [protected] requesting for repair to be done on a saturday. The service engineer never showed up, and then closed the complaint without showing up.

              The complaint has been re-logged in , and instead of reviving the old complaint a new complaint has been booked HR [protected]. The service engineer was to call and confirm the date and time of the repair in 2 working hours, but after five-six days he is yet to call

                Hi,

                We have made a complaint of air conditioner which is Under Warranty right now of whirlpool Company on their customer care no.[protected], and recieved complaint no. GB-[protected] on 20th May 2011, This was not my first complaint , I had registered complaints previously too as my AC sounds alot.This air conditioner was purchsed on 1/5/2011 from Ace Techno Park ,J Block, Sec 18 Noida, for Rs. 19600.00 , who sells their products.Its been only 18 days , I dont want this defective piece. Replace this AC or atleast replace the compressor.

                As we were told that the Compressor of air conditioner is not working & will be replace from a company's servicemen Uday , we are continuously making phone calls on a daily basis but their is no response from the Company and we have to live without Air conditioner in this scorching 41 degree celcius heat. My parents are suffering from health problems because of this issue.

                We feel That our total money is wasted in buying this Company's Product & feel harrased,We demend justice.

                WHIRLPOOL AC WINDOW 1 TON — COMPRESSOR NOT WORKING

                COMPLAINT NO.11799 - CALL BOOKED IN THE MORNING BY 9.30AM. NOT ATTENDED TO TILL NOW INSPITE OF SEVERAL REMINDERS OVER PHONE.

                EVEN MORE SAD THAT AT EVERY CALL I WAS CONFIRMED THAT SOME ENGINEER WOULD ATTEND TO THE PROBLEM TODAY ITSELF. BUT IN VAIN.

                WHIRLPOOL SERVICE IS SEEING THE DOWNTREND WHICH WILL SURELY LAND IN TROUBLE FOR ITS SALES.
                I had the same problem with this company and after a wait for four days the AC Tech lands up, after checking the ac he says my compressor is gone and has to be replaced, Price 9500/- as I was not in a postion to decide to replace, had to pay him 400rs as inspection charges.

                    Had lodged a complaint ( DL[protected]) on the 12th May 2011, towards ineffective cooling in the lower portion of my double door ( GNF 285X Frost free) refridgerator and i got an sms that Service Engineer Palvinder Singh- [protected] would attend the call. Much to my dissapointment, the Engineer did not turn up on the next day and when i tried to contact him, he did not answer the call. He did turn up on the 14th May , and when asked , he expressed his inability to get in touch due to he being overworked and over burdened with complaints. He then checked the Fridge, and said that the cooling in the lower portion was due to a slight leakage of gas, and a refill would make things fine. He also charged Rs. 1670 towards advance payment for the gas refill which i did vide receipt no 6350 dated 14/5/11 favouring M/s Goel Enterprises, ( which i believe were the sub contractors for Whirlpool). Now even after paying an advance payment , none of the engineers whose contact nos whirlpool kept sending , ever turned up . (Raj -[protected], K. Ahmed -[protected], ) these phones were switched off when contacted. Then Ramesh kumar - [protected] turned up on the 21st May 2011, to fill the gas, and after he did the refilling, the fridge stopped cooling at all. He said that by next day it should be ok, and left. He was more concerned with me providing the 3 digit satisfactory code, which i refused as I was not satisfied with your services. My working refrigerator had been turned into a non working defunct machine due to this lack lusture attitude.. Now when i am trying to get in touch with the service centre, they say they would send some senior engineer, and this is what i have been hearing for the past 2 days, and today i get an SMS that my call has been closed, What was most annoying is that the help desk email id given also is of no help as there is no acknowledgement of any emails sent on that email id, nor any revert. The attitude of Whirlpool has left me in a lurch as to what next am i suppose to do...?? It seems like my hard earned money spent on this refrigerator has gone down the drain, thanks to this disgusting service levels.

                    I find this really very unprofessional on Whirlpool's part to send an SMS for a closure of a call, without having resolved the problem. Would like to know from Whirlpool as to why is it that there is no email id provided by the customer service head, or any contact details given on the website, given so that the customer grievances are handled in a proper manner. This way , Whirlpool is only going to loose out business with this negative attitude. I would henceforth not recommend anyone buying Whirlpool products.

                    Whirlpool India — No after sales service

                    I Purchased two Whirlpool Stabiliser for Air-Conditioners. One is giving problem. This problem is so tricky that you never can find till the Input AC power fluctuates or you use a variac to test it. I am sure the problem was a manufacturing deffect and was there since manufacturing. Problem is for any input voltage V_in =V_out (within the cutoff voltages). Otherwise the machine is connected and working. There is no stabilisation of AC power.

                    These products are 14 months old. I logged a complaint and the Branch Service Manager said that the device cannot be rectified and need to purchase a new machine from Whirlpool. This conclusion he made when the Engineer did not open the machine, did not test the m/c with any instrument. There is no reply of mail and NO AFTER SALES SERVICE of this organisation.

                    PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE PURCHASING ANY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT.

                      I had registered a complaint with Whirlpool customer care, here in
                      Noida on the 12th May (Complaint number:GB[protected]), as my window
                      AC was not working properly. I immediately got a SMS on my mobile
                      that my call has been allocated to Mr Sachin Kumar [protected]. As
                      per the company's commitment I should have got a call within 2 hrs.,
                      but till now no one has called. I made calls to Sachin Kumar's phone
                      no. which kept coming switched off and today morning when I got
                      through he told me that he is Khan and it has been allocated wrongly.
                      I again made a call to customer care and took the number of Branch
                      office, for almost 2 hrs i kept trying, no one picked up the phone and
                      finally when Anil Kumar picked up on 13th May, he promissed that he
                      will be sending someone. No one turned up.

                      After so much persuation and this mail finally my complaint got
                      attended on 16th May 2011. Some technician came from Greater Noida
                      and tole me that problem is with the stabiliser, inspite of my
                      stabiliser showing proper output, he told me that inside there is a
                      problem. He did the direct connection and AC started but he did not
                      even wait for 10 minutes to check whether it keeps on working or not.
                      Since painting work was going on in that particular room, I also could
                      not check and we did not switch on the AC till today.
                      Believing the technician I gave the stabiliser for repair, for which I
                      had to shell out Rs. 600/-.

                      That stabiliser has been reconnected to the AC and today when we
                      switched on the AC, it worked only for 10 minutes and went off.
                      Neither there was problem in the stabiliser earlier nor now, i am 100%
                      sure. Earlier also I mentioned in my complaint that AC goes off after
                      making a loud sound.

                      In fact, we connected the stabiliser of other AC, with that also AC is
                      not working that clearly shows that problem is in the AC and not in
                      the statbiliser.

                      I had lodged complaint again on 18the May vide complaint no. GB[protected]. After lot of follow up and many calls one Pankaj Kumar came on 20th May and finally said that compressor is not working and it will be take to service station. On 21st May also I spoke to Mr Khan, supervisor and he put me on to Mr Fared, incharge of service centre who promissed that it will definitely be picked up on 21st May, but AC is still at my place unattended. I tried his no. but it kept ringing. Today on 23th May at 9'o clock I get a sms on my mobile that my complaint has been closed in system. HOW????????????????
                      I called up again call centre and I have been given another complaint no. i.e. GB[protected] dt 23may2011.

                      Now I am so put off with this kind of behaviour that I really want to get rid of this unit and never again go for whirlpool products and my advise to all future consumers not to buy their products. Service is too pathetic.

                      I request whirlpool India to make the refund of Rs. 600/-towards the stabiliser repair which was 100% ok and also AMC charges of Rs. 3559/- if not able to rectify the problem.
                      This AMC is being done on April 7 2011 and my first call under this
                      AMC was on 12 May 2011 and it has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

                        I had purchased a whirlpool ac three years back in the name of Amar saxena. My ac is having a problem of the faulty remote panel,i have been complaining since the last 2MONTHS and there has been no response and no one came to change, my complaint number is-GBO[protected].more than 100 calls have been made to your customer care but we always end up with false promises of getting the things done within a few hours..
                        I request for a immediate solution within 48 hrs otherwise i would be left with no option but to move court.

                          Hello,
                          I have paid-up for the AMC renewal in Mar 2011 which is up for renewal in Aug 2011 for Whirlpool automatic washing machine, but have still not received the welcome kit. I do not even know whether the AMC has been renewed for the next two years or not.

                          Additionally despite repeated reassurances at time of collecting advance AMC, address has not been updated.

                          I had tried following resolutions -
                          1. Talked to customer helpline no, but they just asked me to call Gurgaon number.
                          2. I put a mail through to [protected]@whirlpool.com, but after several back and forth wherein I furnished them all details including scanned copies of the application and receipt, now I am not getting any reply from them for last 2 weeks despite repeated rejoinders.

                          So beware of taking AMC from Whirlpool or their servicing arm - Serco.

                            I purchased Whirlpool refrigerator in Feb 10. This refrigerator not getting cool since 15 May11. My repeated calls were not responded on 15th. Engineer,finally,came on 16th and changed RELAY and charged Rs 800/-. On 17th a recurring and loud noise was heard from the compressor. On 18th on contacting the service centre, I was advised to switch off the refrigerator. On 19th the engineer came and replaced the compressor.The refrigerator functioned barely for couple of hours and at about 5.30 the same day the same noise was once again heard from the compressor. This time the engineer's advise was that the refrigerator need not be switched off as there are adequate cut off devices in built in the refrigerator. Thus, I have been subjected through this ordeal which also resulted in avoidable wastages of food items,raw fruits and vegetables.
                            I would urge the Whirlpool Co to ensure that I get my refrigerator duly repaired free of all hiccups at the earliest.

                                I'm an AMC customer for Whirlpool Elite AC (split) which is yet to end on 20/5/11. On 4th of May I called up their call center and placed a complaint regards to low cooling and one of their technician visited my place and filled gas to the outer unit and said if still I have low cooling, they might have to do a chemical cleaning to the AC.

                                9th of May I booked a complaint and interestingly the call complaint was closed even before any one visited my place. Again on 10th of May I booked a call regards to low cooling and Dry Ice formation at the outer unit and Ice sparks from the inner unit Complaint Number "CN[protected]". Its been 10 days now, no one has turned down to my place. I have called several times to your call center and the service center and the only response that I receive from them is "I would place a reminder immediately and somebody from our team would call and visit your place today" I'm still waiting for someone to visit my place and service my AC.

                                My end verdict on Whirlpool AMC is service is a useless, I would never ever buy or recommend Whirlpool products!!

                                Dear Consumer Support Team, I requested to remove or delete my complaint since it's out dated, and one of your team member had asked me to mark the complaint as resolved.
                                If you Purchase any product from WHIRLPOOL means that you did a big mistake done in your life.

                                Whirlpool is one of the major bluffer company in the services
                                It is sad that a brand like whirlpool had such a bad customer service. We bought fully automatic 6.5 kg washing machine. When the guy came to install it, we found out that there was a big dent in the back of the washing machine. The service guy took our complaint and assured that it would be replaced in 10 days. It has been a month and a half since then and it has not been replaced yet. We called the customer service three times and after long waits they keep registering the complaints and do nothing. It has been so frustrating experience dealing with them.

                                My advice. dont buy their products. Down with whirlpool

                                I have registered call for AC installation. SR number: DL[protected],
                                i received call from number [protected], that person will come by evening 6:30pm on 10.05.2015
                                we waited and called again and again but he has not picked phone.

                                Today again we called him but he declined to come for AC Installation, as per him he received message from company but not received call from company so he will not come.

                                We called than again on customer care, customer care person given another number [protected] to me and asked me to contact on this person.
                                i again contacted on new number but no response received rather he declined to come and said he is not free and talked rudely.

                                Its a serious concern
                                Never ever buy Whirlpool Products...Whirlpool equivalent to repent
                                They will send technician & will charge for it Rs. 400+...It's company money making tactics...first provide worst product...charge hefty for visits in the name repairs...never repair giving invalid reasons & charge again for visits...Best thing is to throw Whirlpool product & go for some good brands.

                                  If you are planning to buy split air conditioner please do not buy whirlpool I bought Split AC 6 months ago. There is no problem with AC but the Installation is very poor (condensate water comes inside the room from wall unit) and spoils curtains & wall for that I complaint so many times but there is no response from Whirlpool finally I arranged out side party to do installation again and I paid again 1500 Rs for same so kindly if you are thinking to buy be ready for poor after sales service.

                                  my whirlpool split ac is not working properly .i complaint so many time.. after payout of ruppees 2900 and 400 to the service centre the problem was same...they said the motherboard of the ac is damaged n charges will b extra of this ..here the complaints no. of ac ch[protected], ch[protected], ch[protected]

                                  Whirlpool — Incompetent Split AC installation

                                  The Split AC installation done by Whirlpool is totally incompetent.
                                  They have to realize that split AC is more an aesthetics driven product and not just drilling holes in the walls. The outsource staff was in a hurry to just fit the AC and leave. They did not bother to aligh holes or whether the outer unit took up the whole balcony.

                                  As a first time buyer, I relied on them to suggest and put the AC properly, but look at the attached picture to see teh shoddy job done.

                                  When called the Whirlpool engineer, they agreed that it should have bene done better, but at the sametime now I have to pay extra to get it removed and refitted properly.

                                    We have made a complaint of air conditioner which is Under Warranty right now of whirlpool Company on their customer care no.[protected], and recieved complaint no. GB-[protected] on 30th April 2011, This air conditioner was purchsed on 23/5/2010 from Impact Enterprises, AG-7, Aditya City Center, Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, against Invoice no. 1066 for Rs. 18600.00 , who sells their products.

                                    As we were told that the PCB of air conditioner is not working & will be replaced in 2-3 days time from a company's servicemen, we are continuously making phone calls on a daily basis but their is no response from the Company and we have to live without Air conditioner in this scorching 44 degree celcius heat.

                                    We feel That our total money is wasted in buying this Company's Product & feel harrased, due to this not attending complaint my wife is now suffering from Severe fever.

                                    We demend justice.

                                      This has referance to my mail dt: 21 April, 2011 and also 03 May 2011. I am repeating the mail because there has been no response from your side whatsoever. This attitude of yours greatly emphasizes the fact that WHIRLPOOL INDIA is presently THE WORST company that I have encountered so far as far as after sales services are concerned. Since you are not interested in providing the service as required, kindly have the decency and courtesy to respond to my mail atleast.


                                      I have a whirlpool Iceberg dlx 310 lts Frost Free refrigerator (Model No: 10190 Serial No: INA[protected] purchased on 05/05/2007 from Wheels and Wares, Shillong. The fridge stopped working around 6 months back. Complaint was given to your service engineer stationed in Shillong (Mr. J.K. Singh - [protected]).

                                      Till date he has changed all the main parts - relay, fuse, timer and the thermostat and I had to pay all the expenses ( cost of material and labour charge) as demanded. Unfortunately, the fridge has not worked ever since. On repeated enquiries your service engineer always says that the parts has been sent by the company and is in transit. However, none of the parts that he has changed so far has provided any solution to the problem. He has finally said that since the fridge is old, the company has stopped manufacturing spare parts.

                                      Your Guwahati office is no better. They had promised to send one engineer, but unfotunately it seems that the engineer is still in transit alongwith the spare parts. This is the pathetic condition of Whirlpool India.

                                      I feel that I have made a very grave mistake in purchasing a Whirlpool fridge. I should have gone for tried and tested brand such as LG as suggested by others. Be rest assured that Whirpool brand will never again enter my house and this goes for all my contacts , be it now or in the future.To top it all your customer care service is pathetic. There has been no response from their side so far.I hope you acknowledge this complaint.

                                      whirlpool is worst company in product quality and service.their engineeres are big liers close complaints by telling lies.my ro has not been working for last 5 months and i have complained to customer care, their email-id, contacts nos. but there is no response.so before buying whirlpool you should think.

                                        I have been purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator dated-13.5.2011 from Reliance digital Retail limited Vishnu Enclave, 229 NSC Bose Road Kolkata-700047 and I have requested them that next day morning Kindly give me demonstration because that’s my new flat no one is staying there and Iam waiting there for the company people for demonstration but after waiting long time when I have called Reliance digital for demo person. They have told me the person will going shortly to your residence / some time they have told we will call you later / some time they have told me that demo people will called you / some time they told me wait we try to track the demo people / some time they told me is it demo will going to happen today / some time they told me demo person is very near to your house.
                                        Trust me they have harassment me like this way and for the nessacary requirement I have called them several time. It’s a very bad experience for me.
                                        I have also requested a Refrigerator stand but till date I have not received the same. No one from the store has bother to call even every time they told me within 5 minutes we call you. But sorry to say no one call me.
                                        Even I have written in the demonstration copy that there is a complain inside the refrigerator there is a dent and I have written on dated-14.5.2011 in the job sheet but till date I have not get any call from Whirlpool service center. Yesterday & Today I have called to Reliance digital for to know about the service I have requested for subject the inside dent first 3 / 4 call no proper reply & last time when I have called them they told me very loudly and very roughly that when the stock will come we late you know there is no exact time when I will get the service and I asked them what about the refrigerator stand they told me that will come on that time.

                                        Now this is the way you handle your customers it’s the way they behave with their customers. Then sorry to tell you the business will going effect for certain employee you have in your stores.
                                        It’s really heart me for your behavior.
                                        Iam waiting for your reply regarding the concern.
