Dear Sir/Madam,
I had bought Whirlpool Whitemagic Fp65 fuzzy washing machine in July 2006 . It has never worked properly from day 1.
1. Its drain pipe was leaky at time of installation for which it was taken to service center for repairs free of cost.
2. In September 2006, its drain water pump motor got burnt and it was again repaired free of cost.
3. In November 2008, its inlet water pump got burnt and this time it was repaired on payment of Rs 900.
4. In March 2009, control panel (PCB) became dysfunctional and I got it replaced in Rs 3200.
5. In September 2010, control panel and inlet pump malfunctioned and replaced in Rs 3200.
6. In April 2011, control panel has again malfunctioned and I need to pay Rs 3000 approx as informed by the service center (Supreme Customer care center, Industrial Area-2, Chandigarh).
I am fed up of the performance of this washing machine which keeps bugging every 4-5 months. I own a whirlpool fridge and 2 ACs and both are functioning well and power supply to my house is regulated by a central voltage stabilizer and all other electrical equipment in my house are working well.
It is obvious that this washing machine is flawed and is causing me financial and mental harassment.
Whenever I tried to ask the reason of frequent malfunction from Whirlpool engineers, reply would be voltage fluctuations, hard water, etc etc.
I want to ask why this company fails to acknowledge that the machine is faulty. Why can’t electronic goods manufacturers become as responsible as car makers for e.g. Honda who recall thousands of cars to correct the smallest defect.

    Dear Concern,

    This is just to bring to your kind notice that we have purchased a Whirlpool Semi Automatic Washing Machine in November 2009. In mid of Mar 2010, the dryer(spinner) part the machine stopped working for which a complaint was lodged by me bearing the above complaint no. It’s almost over a year now but no one has bothered to attend to my complaint.

    A engineer was sent to my place after 5 days of lodging a call in the customer care, who then informed us that the problem is because of one of the part in the spinner which needs to be replaced.

    But the engineer said that the new part was not available hence for the time being he was replacing the same with some old part which was available with him for which we did not allow as I wanted the part to be replaced with a new one only as the machine is still under warranty.

    The machine is under warranty but still to just get the same repaired am facing such a difficulty.

    Whenever we call the customer care the revert that we get is that the part needs to be replaced & we need to pay huge chunk of amount for the replacement.

    It’s really surprising & shocking to know that the part of the latest model is not available for almost a year now & secondly why do we have to pay for something which is under warranty.

    The situation at your Customer Care is still worse………the customer care agents are simply the human version of an IVR as they neither bother to listen to the complaint completely not are capable enough to guide you with correct information, they only keep repeating that the service engineer would visit us shortly & disconnect the call.

    Is this the customer care experience that is provided to the end user or is it the penalty that the customer needs to bear for buying a whirlpool product………..

    As the machine is still left open by Mr.Deepak- contact no- [protected], who committed us that he will return back with the part but is yet to return.

    The engineer belongs to - SKY Enterprises , Whirlpool , Mira Road). Even the branch manager does not seem to have a proper knowledge about the same

    Would request your good selves to kindly get the part replaced asap or else please take back the machine & reimburse me the money failing which I will be forced to drag Whirlpool to the Consumer Forum.

    Would also like to conclude by saying that the experience with Whirlpool has been terrible & depressing, I will ensure & warn my near & dear ones to never opt for any of the Whirlpool products as they do not justify the real meaning of the word Customer Service.

      Dear All,

      Please be advised that we are using Whirlpool washing machine for last few years. Now, we are facing some problem with your service.

      We have paid the Amount of Rs : 2,749 as a two years AMC on 07/08/2010.

      And now we have registered a complaint about the washing machine and it seems that the AMC details are not entered in to your system. We have made several calls from last Two weeks and we are getting same response saying that it will be sorted out in 1 - 2 hours, But still now we are facing the problem.

      We are really disappointed with this.

      Kindly look into this issue and sort out at your earliest.

      Whirlpool — Cheating in the name of AMC

      A Fully Loaded Fully Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine ; Well worked till waranty period.
      After that the complaints started. They wanted us to have AMC. Otherwise, they want us to change the whole part for huge money. Are they doing service to India or Cheating India.

      i have loadged a complaint vide # JP/C/[protected] since 4 month earlier regarding my frontline washing machine but till date no response received from customer care of WHIRLPOOL. i am so sorry & disappointed to purchased a whirlpool's product.

      now i request finally to rectify my compalint otherwise i will move to cunsumer cell for legal action.

        This is for your information that there service centre in Patna is useless, insufficient and incompetent in many ways. They have NO POLICY for customer information. i gave a complaint on 13th April 2011 for my refrigerator Complain No.TT.[protected]. But till date many call to their call centre and many calls to service centre i have no clue where my refrigerator is and it has been rectified or not. above these people have no way of talking. i have 2 yr old son and he is at home and in this summer i cannot keep milk, fruits or any eatable for her except junk food like chips or buiscuit.Because of their company my family has gone under lot of pain and humiliation. This is big insult to the company name. I hope the matter will be reaches to the higher authority. I requesting that kindly arrange to resolve my problem in refrigerator or replace the refrigerator as soon as possible otherwise return back my money. This is happening from last 3 years with me and i have paid to you money as well as mental peace to you so kindly get back to me with proper answer.

          Hi,

          I had purchased Whirlpool double door refrigerator FF340L Elite Professional (TIT) in 11th Apr. 2010. For the last 1 year fridge was working fine but now for last month’s problems are coming frequently many times excess ice freeze in freezer and water filled inside the fuse which affects the cooling, water is leaking from the back side of the refrigerator and ice freeze on vegetables and presently no cooling problem.

          I have already written a mails to whirlpool helpdesk as attached about my issues which I’m facing with my whirlpool fridge but No one turned till date and don’t seriously look into the matter. And now the fridge has stopped cooling in below door section & 4 times the Whirlpool engineers have visited but problem has still not been sorted out.

          I had done complaints to customer care for 4 times and the following are the complaint nos along with status.

          I am requesting you to please help me out in this embarrassing situation and this was the first time i bought the product of whirlpool and I am sure that I am never going to buy ant product of whirlpool again and I will advise all my friends that they should never buy any whirlpool product.

          We don’t want to suffer any more. Take the action very seriously and resolve our problem immediately.

          whirlpool / freeze — about my freeze complaine but no boby .....?

          Dear Sir,
          I (Customer ID No. GB/C/0408/10018) is providing the following information

          Sir on last month Mr. Narendra of Ghaziabad has come and see the condition of the freeze then after i am not received any action against from any office of ypur company so take necessary action and informrd me regarding your product refrigerator 310 DLX Professional Titanium
          I was purchase your product on 24/04/08 by your registered dealer Fair
          Deal corporation Navyug market Ghaziabad201001.But it was observed by me that there is problem in both side wall of the freeze and I egistered complain on 17/05/08
          Through the customer request no. GB[protected] I just made complain to
          Call center of whirlpool of India ltd, Ghaziabad regarding my problem but no action taken by the service man and higher authority and in this
          contest I meet and talk several time over mobile to the following members

          problem observed by me and again I made complain through customer code no GB/C/0408/10018 on 09/07/2008 then through the necessary action finally product was replaced on 09/08/2008.
          Now second replacement ok and it was conformed by the service man now you are not facing any problem with this product But the above said problem was again observed by me Then I registered complain on 26/09/2008 by the complain no. GB-[protected]only service engineer visited to my residence and say like that company engineer will see this matter.My self and family are very busy so we are facing a lot of problem due to this freeze and on 22/ 11/2008 we again made complain through complain no. GB[protected] and finally talk to Mr. Shushil Singh according to him a company engineer will come and observe this case then any action to be considered.
          Finally as on date no action taken by your company against my freeze so you kindly take necessary action either provide me good product or
          replace my money other wise I take help through the other medium.

              Sir/Madam,
              I bought a Refrigerator of whirlpool in August 2010 I was very impressed with TV Add so I bought that thinking it would be good enough to satisfy me. Now within a year its big internal Back door cracking in my Single door refrigerator and Compressor is also not working since 15th of March 2011. The moment I try to start fridge it is creating irritating noise every half an hour.

              So I registered the complaint with whirlpool and the person (Lalit Verma –Khanpur Area –M:-[protected] visited in my home almost next day saying that I can’t say anything after four days of suffering they didn't visited of their own so we called them back for complaint and they didn’t visited at their given time we called them back again they again gave us time and din't visited again so we gave them the call back and got another time again they din't visited(Almost more then 20 times).
              Everytime i am getting a response from customer care that your Door will be replaced today/ Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday/ evening and making fun of me at phone.

              When i insisted to talk to their supervisor they told me he is busy andthey hang on my phone each time but not got chance till 12 times s after that an executive of Delhi Sales Region Whirlpool Amit Das Gupta called ([protected]) and said it would be okay very soon.

              I got a number of Delhi Service centre([protected]/15) where Mr. kumar told me that Whirlpool part come every Tuesday eve so no response yet. But he has given me a no. of Whirlpool Br.[protected] of Manoj Pawar but nobody picked it up till now.

              I am requesting you to please help me out in this embarrassing situation and This was the first time i buyed the product of whirlpool nd i am sure that i am never going to buy ant product of whirlpool again and i will advise all my friends that they should never buy any whirlpool product.

              Whirlpool/ genius single door refrigerator — Service needed/ no response after many complaints.

              The Genius 185 ltr, single door Frige is out of order since 1st of Nov. Lodged verbal complaint to the dealer who has not suggested for written one.

              On 5th nov lodged complaint with the call centre & my complaint # is 2599.

              The Engineer did not call till now. On 9th Nov lodged reminder with the call center. Two hours passed no call till now.

              Hope this complaint attracts the attention of the Whirlpool India.

              By the way sms to WPL 58558 do not evoke response on both days. Causes money to us.

                I purchased Whirlpool refrigerator F30 DLX in Nov. 2005. Now for the last 1 year problems are coming frequently many times pipe gets choked which affectes the cooling, gas problem and now for the last ten days there is series of problems coming like pipe is choking and also its compressor also has been replaced.

                  Its very shocking that again we are facing cooling problem in fridge. Yesterday we complaint to KAY DEE ELECTRONICS (Mr. Anil [protected]) because we purchased the same from them.
                  Today Again lodged a complain to Whirlpool vide your complaint No, GD[protected]. One engineer (Mr.Amit [protected]) visited to our home and after checking informed that again gas chocked/ leaked and two parts also defected. We fired on him because earlier he already visited to our home but never told that this is manufacturing defect. Its very shameful that your person rectified our fridge and filled gas on 22nd march and again within a month we faced same problem.

                  We are unable to understand how WHIRLPOOL is giving services to their customers. Since the summer already started and now fridge is very important for any home. So arrange replacement immediately.

                  We don’t want to suffer any more. Take the action very seriously and resolve our problem immediately

                  SENT FOLLOWING LETTER TO WHIRLPOOL ON 21ST MARCH' 2011

                  Dear Sir

                  Please note that we purchased one 230 ltr Whirlpool refrigerator from your dealer KAY DEE ELECTRONICS, NOIDA on 10th October’ 2010 vide their Inv. No. 4333004/06

                  On 7th January’011 we lodged a complaint for not cooling (GB[protected]) Your person took the fridge to your service station on 11th January and after some days return to us. Your person told us that there was some manufacturing defect and now it has been rectified.

                  From last 2-3 days again we felt same problem. Today again we made a complaint (GB[protected]).

                  Your engineer visited to our home and told that there is some chocking/ leakage problem. Again your another engineer visited to us and told same problem. He suggested to fill the gas and arrange stabilizer. We asked him to fill the gas but he said its not possible today. We found one very attractive sticker on fridge that NO STABLIZER REQUIRED then why he suggested for stabilizer ?


                  We never expected so poor quality WHIRLPOOL item and very poor customer services. Your prices are higher then other suppliers but we chose WHIRLPOOL so that after paying high charges we can feel comfortable and enjoy uninterrupted good product but very shocking for us that your company neither giving quality product nor giving prompt customer services.

                  Within six months of purchase this is the second time when we made a complaint for your product. Now the summer season has been started. If you product gives us so much problem then why should we keep with us so defected item?

                  We request you to look into the matter very seriously and do the needful immediately

                  Otherwise replace the defected item immediately/

                      1794 Microoven (With Kit Silver Colour) , Whirlpool, Model No. 25C was bought by me on 06.06.2010 from Capital Electroinics, VIP road, Kolkata. From January last, The keypad button is getting non-responding and thus the microwave is not functioning. I have launched a complain by phone(No.[protected]/[protected] on 3rd February, 2010, (Doc No. February 1009/3/2/11, Sankha Chowdhury). Two technical persons visited to us on after 15 days and confirmed that the touchscreen keypad has been damaged and to be replaced by your esteemed company. But its very shocking anoither two months passed away, not a single person called us or even not a single "auto-generated" message come asking the status of our microwave. I am very much upset, disappointed and shocked to your service. Again I heve called on 5 th April, lastly. They have told us to mail you. I dont know what will be my action with this situation. If no response come, I have to go with Consumer act. Please do needful as early as possible.

                      Sir,
                      I am a regular consumer of the product of “Whirlpool” and in the same connection & have purchased a microwave oven convection model of 25 liters capacity on 25.01.2011but I am sorry to say that I am suffering from a bitter experience this time and want to draw your kind attention towards the absurd, negligent and ignorable and irresponsible behavior of service center staff situated at Lucknow. Irrespective of giving the proper servicing they have neither given the proper demonstration nor attended the complaints properly. Their job knowledge is of such type that after checking for repair (repairing has not been done) certain new problems of short circuit and earthen problems has been developed.
                      I have made several complaints on16.08.2012 & 28.08.2012- Complaint No. LK[protected], LK[protected] respectively and after continuous request of several time when the staff responsible for providing services visited at site then instated of repairing and removing the problem they have demanded a sum of Rs. 850.00 with this plea that some relevant parts (magnetron etc.) are not working and irreparable.
                      It is remarkable to mention here that said oven lies within the warranty period & your help line complaint staff has assured me for the replacement of faulty part (magnetron) free of cost as there is warranty of two years on the magnetron, even then the problem has not been removed till now even after expiry of fifteen days.
                      Kindly do the needful in this respect and instruct your staff to adopt appropriate work culture in lack of which the image of your well reputed company will tarnish

                        I bought Whirlpool Fridge Fusion 180Lts in March 2010. On 20/03/2011 the fridge went not working. I made a complaint with its CC. They sent technician after 2 days. The technician inspected and changes few parts charged me Rs3075. I too paid it. Fridge worked for sometime and went not working after 5 hours. The technician came and adjusted something and the fridge worked for only 5 hours. The next morning I contacted the CC, the technician came and found every part is burnt and only the box is okay. After 9 days, on 06/04/2011 Whirlpool replaced it with another said to be a brand new. I believe it is not a brand new, but a crap. The fridge is not working in auto defrost mode. I suffered a lot with the whirlpool guys and still suffering. I do not know when the suffering is going to end. The whirlpool guys are not honest, bluffing, not sincere to their duty and cheating. I am not finding a reasonable person in whirlpool who will solve my problem. It will be helpful if someone who has faced like me and overcome such problems advise me.

                          Although the customer care cell is very efficient and praise worthy, the service staff/ engineers on the contrary are worst of its kind. They speak and deal like road side thele walas. Blunt insulting answers are part of the standard equipment attitude. Just because my 2 door, 380 litre capacity Regrigerator is 6-7 years old, they have denied repair because according to them after 5 years the models go obsolete and irreparable. Some thing as common as Cooling coil leak cannot be repaired and is now useless according to whirlpool service staff. This is the most pathetic service staff I have come across.

                            I had purchased a Whirlpool 20 litre Convection Knob Microwave over the phone from Homeshop 18. First there was a month long delay in dispatching the product and very rude customer service but then when the product arrived, I realised there was no user manual, no warranty card with the product when I tried contacting Homeshop 18 and Whirlpool, both didn't want to listen or help. The engineer who came home for demo was just willing to show me how water is boiled using a knob oven and said Homeshop 18 had lied about it being a convection model since its only a gril model. Homeshop 18 is one big fraud company cheating unsuspecting consumers every day and they should be banned from conducting business. I am determined to also file criminal complaints for cheating and forgery against them in the appropriate forum, along with instituting a consumer dispute against them.

                            They are CHEATS...please stop them from doing business.

                              1. I am Commander Sanjeev Gupta of Indian Navy. I have a GRIEVANCE which needs to be ADDRESSED and TOLD to others
                              2. I had purchased a Fridge Professional 35 Elite through CSD and through dealer at Airforce canteen Racecourse Delhi on 26 Aug 2010.
                              3. I had as per instructions given in the booklet, asked the WHIRLPOOL REPRESENTATIVE (through Whirlpool Customer Care) to visit, install and educate us about the facilities.
                              4. Mr Rajesh Rajput ( [protected]) was nominated and visited our residence to intall the fridge, when he visited, he demonstrated the functions and operationalize the fridge, however, he suggested that we must buy whirlpool stabilizer for the safety, we agreed and he installed the stabilizer costing Rs 1500 ,then and there.
                              5. Everything went off well.
                              6. Now, after 6 month, suddenly, stabilizer went off defective. I lodged a complaint to customer care and promptly, Mr Rajput again landed up and replaced and asked for the bill which became the bone of contention between us as , as per my wife the bill of the stabilizer was not given and as per Mr Rajput, he says, he only has installed it and it is not possible that he has not given the bill.
                              7. He took the stabilizer back without replacing it and tells that whenever we produce bill, it would be replaced.
                              8. Thereafter, I contacted whirlpool CCC, however, I got the cold reply that nothing could be done without the receipt.
                              9. I have following to be submitted.

                              (a) In this era, wherein, my complete record of purchase and details are available with the company, why do they require the bills as proof of my purchase? Most of the big companies, now a days do not require any such small piece of paper.

                              (b) Even if you require it, why customer can’t be helped by the company to get the duplicate bill/ proof of having it purchased within warranty period.

                              (c) Thirdly, does this CARE TOO HOOT attitude of customer care suit a company of million dollars celebrating 100 yrs of existence.

                              10. I can always mention the names of the representatives of CC who have shown total disregard to the customer relations, however, I chose not to as I have no proof of their misbehavior.

                              11. It is not the question of Rs 1500/- worth of item but it is a question of trust in the of the BRAND wherein I never doubted that the item being supplied by the representative of company who has come to install the brand new fridge could be fake ( as told by customer care) and that is the reason why they want receipt.

                              12. I have written to whirlpool but till date has not got any reply......But anyways I would not let them go scotfree.

                                I bought this top model fully automatic whirlpool machine (Rs 26,000) 2.5 years back. Recently it developed a problem its door. people from whirlpool came the next day and told me that the door needs to be changed. I paid them 50% amount (Rs 2000) on the same day. After that they never came back. I called up so many times, but they say part is not available. If its not available atleast they should have told me the date when that will be available. Its been a month now and nothing is done from their side.

                                Atleast they should pay back my amount.

                                  I have a whirlpoool toploading white magic washing machine.Its warranty period is over.I got my washing machine sreviced by Patna service centre on[protected] by payinhg Rs 985.But after 7 days the washing machine has started making very high noise during rotation.I filed a complaint(complaint no. PT [protected]) on[protected], but no engiineer has visited my home nor contacted on phone for servicing till today.
                                  This is a very very poor service of Patna service centre.
                                  I have a whirlpool washing machine .its warranty period is over. i registered complaint for my washing machine at whirlpool customer care, they gave me a service center of mylapore area.2 persons came and attend the problem, said need to change board of machine then changed new on 17/09/2015, gave warranty bill for dat(6 monts warranty).but from the next day problem is continuing, we called that SAI BABA SERVICE CENTRE & DEALER, NO-58, Chithrakulam west street, mylapore, chennai-600004, PH[protected] Cell[protected], but no response from them.whirlpool company is reputed one. don"t loose that by this cheapest servise centres.even thier way of response through cell calls was bad. treating us like a unauthorised servise center. avoid and rectify these problems.

                                    sir I want to tell you about my whirlpool appliance, I have purchased washing machine from whirlpool dealer shop. after two months it work not work properly
                                    , there are two types of problem create in washing machine.
                                    1) leakage of water.
                                    2) Dryer work no properly.
                                    I informed service center about this problem but no Response from them. I want to you that please shortout this problem otherwise i will take action against company and i will go Consumer Frorum.

                                    From the day 1 we are facing problem in drier of the machine as sometimes it rinses well or sometimes it will move so slow that we get fed up. We are complaining from last 1 year and really not satisfied from ur product. We were using videocon machine from last 13 years but first time we chose whirlpool and really not upto expectatio.                                       I had purchased Hitachi Branded Split AC 1.5 T & Whirlpool Refrigerator on dated 02.08.2010. At the time of purchasing the salesman of the Reliance Digital has told to us to pay extra amount to get extra one year Warranty along with company's Warranty & the documents regarding the same will be getting after one month the date of purchase. So we paid the amount & get the appliances. But i am very much shocked, till date i am not get the documents. For, inquiring i went to the shop & asked The wing of Customer care, but they answered me to wait for THREE hours and finally they told that you will get the document within 15 days(24.01.11). I am very sorry to say that till today (26.03.11) we are in waiting to receive.

                                      The officers of the concerned wing are humbly requested to kindly look into the matter & do needful in this regard , otherwise kindly organize to remit the amount paid against extra amount as extra warranty period.The purchased bill is attached for your ready reference.

                                        I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator in June 2010. As the one year warranty on this product is expiring shortly, I received a telephone call this morning from a representative from Whirlpool to find out whether I was interested in taking an annal maintenance contract for this frig.

                                        During my discussion with this person I got to know that Whirlpool does not give AMC for refrigerators which are more than five years old. I am amazed to know that such a reputed company is not interested in providing customer service on their products (which may also be under AMC for 5 years) but is more interested in selling new products. Other companies such as Godrej provide AMC for all their products even after five year period. The purpose of this complaint is to highlight this issue in a publc forum and warn consumers regarding this unfair practice.
