We purchased H65 whirlpool washing machine from Visakhapatnam in 2003, The machine was always under AMC till we stayed at Visakhapatnam (August 2007). Then we shifted to Raigarh in Chhattisgarh and this shifting of machine came as nightmare.We followed all instructions...shelling out money by the way of getting the machine packed by the authorizes dealer. We had to call the whirlpool dealer to unpack the same in new station, failing which the warranty would cease. So, we waited for over a fortnight to have oue machine unpacked after informing the local dealer there. The machine was not installed properly by the dealer, and we started facing serious trouble and the dealer took over three months to attend to the complaint after a lot of harassing moments and numerous calls to the Head Office at NOIDA. Then we shifted to Bhilai in early 2008. In mid 2008(approx), we informed the company regarding some defects, when the machine was still under AMC.The mechanic was sent after about 15 days, who claimed that the heater was defective and required replacement. After about a week when we did not see any action from the service department and called them again, a new mechanic was sent, who claimed that the previous mechanic was a novice and did not advise us properly. He also stated that Whirlpool did not have a full fledged and competent service staff at chhattisgarh, hence he, who was a mechanic for GODREJ was sent. He carried out some repairs and the machine started working with frequent breakdowns. Once again, in early 2010, we started facing problems with the machine. This time, to our amazement, we were informed that the records mentioned that we had refused to get the heater replaced........amusing!!!. Only an insane person would refuse replacement of a defective part with a new one free of cost (due AMC). thereafter we kept calling the whirlpool at Raipur to renew our AMC, and no one turned up. Later an employee of whirpool informed us that the request was not completed as no one knew how to renew the AMC at their Office in Chhattisgarh. Now, they took the machine for repairs to workshop for repairs in end Sep/early Oct 10. When nothing was heard from them, I called up the Head Office again to check up on the status of repairs, as there was no response from their Bhilai/ Raipur local reps to all our phone calls. They now woke up and informed us that the spare required to make the machine operational is not available and and the machine would take atleast a week more to be repaired. I asked them a few specific questions like when was it discovered that the spare was defective and not available with them, as the machine was lying with them for over a month, they failed to reply to same. When I informed them that the matter would be taken up legally, their telephonic reply was very casual, ( a does not matter types and in reply to a mail sent by me to them I only received a call from Raipur that nothing could be achieved before a weeks time.....and that was the minimum.

Here I would like to claim all the losses incurred by us by the way of continuous mental harassment and non availability of an expensive utility for very long, thus paying heavy laundry charges. This amounts to CHEATING by the company advertising wrongly in media, with no after sale support whatsoever.

    My name is Raja Aravind from Trivandrum, kerala, I bought a WHIRLPOOL washing machine on 30th Oct 2009, Model No 10437 and serial No INFO 93404041 since then we have faced problem more than 5times, ie 17th Nov 2009 (Compliant No 07159), 25th Nov 2009(Compliant No 9396 ), 21st June 2010 (Compliant No 9164), 4th August 2010 (Compliant No 01431), and 6th Nov 2010 (Compliant No 03004), (Refer you CC)
    Every time the service engineers are saying some technical names/problems such as Agitator problem.drum problem. suspension problem and keep going, , , , , !!!
    6th Nov 2010 i made a compliant on your customer care,But Till now No proper response from whirlpool side??, Today Morning again called customer care but No improvement??
    Frankly sharing with you i am not at all happy with WHIRLPOOL machine and Customer care also???????????
    whom ever are reading this mail, just put yourself in my shoes and understand my agony, Just imagine last 8days

      I already submit the complaint regarding my Refrigerator. Sir now they are Troubling me now they said they charge Rs 6000/- for the same estimate bill attached.

      We are humble request to you kindly take my complaint on urgent basis.

      Dear Sir,

      I have purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator Model No. 11086 INC[protected] from M/S Sachdeva Electronic, Jail Road Hari Nagar, New Delhi. after two year some defect occurred from refrigerator compartment and a complaint was recorded by me vide complaint no. DL[protected] DT 23-09-10. The representative (sanjay mobile no [protected]) came to visit the refrigerator & inspect problem area, & he told me that freezer is damaged & charges of Rs 4200/- will be charged for replacing of part, we said that this is very extra. He said if I repair it from company side it will charge same but if you want to repair personally from me it will charge of Rs 3200/- . We refused him to repair the refrigerator for thinking that he is fraud person. We again recorded complaint on 30-10-10 vide complaint no DL[protected] ON 30-10-10 the representative (Rajesh Jha mobile no [protected]) came to visit the refrigerator & inspect problem area, & he told me the charges of Rs 2770/- for same above said defect, we said ok repair it. He told mam tomorrow we will change it. Next day we received the sms that your complaint is closed, in system We again contact the customer service they said sir your compliant is closed we asked them but part is not changed they said we logged your new complaint DL[protected] dated 2-11-10, The representative again (sanjay mobile no [protected]) came to repair the freezer with some old one & he said we have only this piece in stock if you want new one it will take one to two week, I talk to customer service they said to talk with some Mr. HANDA OWNER of HANDA REFRIGERATOR may be the contractor having same attitude

      Sir we are requested o kindly take some legal action on whirlpool & HANDA REFRIGERATOR

        I have given a complaint regarding my refrigerator against the problem with the door not getting closed properly, on 22 of august 2010 and till now the work is not done completely.My regrigerator model is 260 Elite Icemagic which we bought in the year 2004.After the complaint has been given, on 23/8/10, whirlpool service centre technician has attended and said that the refrigerator door cap has to be replaced and charged Rs.230 against Inspection Charges and he told us that he will get the spare part and replace that.Even after somany days he did not complete the work and when I had called him several times the reply was there is stock of the spare part.Its already 2 months completed against the complaint and the work is not completed and i am facing problem with my refrigerator daily.so kindly get this complaint work done as soon as possible.

          My washing machine had incurred a cabinet damage in the course of relocation from another service.I had placed a complaint with Whirpool Customer Care , Karnataka .Their service engineer had ascertained the damage and had promised me that the cabinet would be changed.It has been 3 weeks and till date no action has been taken by Whirlpool.I have called their service engineer(Subash K.V) but have got no answers.They keep rolling the ball around without taking any reponsibility.My complaint number is BG[protected].I had also spoken to the manager of the service centre(Genius Service Point) Mr.Shinto Verghese of the problem a couple of times and off late he hangs up my phone instead of helping me out.I request some help to resolve my issue.

              I have purchased Whirlpool refrigerator in the year 2003 Model FRWP 73 Whirp 350 Symphony White
              The refrigerator starting giving trouble in the year 2005 . when the power board was replace alongwith
              stabilizer costing me Rs. 3735 /- . Thereafter we were convenience to enter in to maintenance contract
              for 5 years. Contract No HP01185070 which states that it covers Evaporator,PCB,Relay,OLP,Fan Motor, Defrost Heater,Wiring Hrness,Visigt Chgs and 2 PM visits P.Yr. I have not that in the last 5 years
              not a single maintenance contract has visited to check the refrigerator for the contract entered into.

              ON 29.10.10 when I returned from a short outstation visit I realized that the refrigerator is not working
              With out waiting to search the maintenance contract paper I called up justdial number to find the office
              number who could service my refrigertor at this point I was not actually aware of the maintenance contract entered into. Justdial number mailed me the number of Electro point Service who was quick enough to to attend to the complain. He charged me Rs. 200/- for the visit and informed me that the compressor is not working. and it would cost me Rs. 7000/- for replacement of the compressor tray and compressor. and the same would be replace within an hours time.

              I got back to search the papers as all these matter were handled by my husband who has suffered from Cerebral Stroke and lost his memory. When I found the papers I realized that there was a maintainance
              Contract up to 19.10.10. I wanted to know what the actual cost of the compressor. So from the papers available WHirlpool of India Ltd,Ghatkopar number I found that they are no more in service. and some person gave me the Whrilpool Co Number. Whirlpool was informed of the technician who attended the complain and that the maintenance warranty was valid for 7 years. The Co informed me that Electro Point services are not valid service contractor inspite of this I got the number of the andheri service centre to find the cost of the compressor I did find a difference in price .

              Now my grievance is that probably the refrigerator got tripped when I was out of station and the repair would fall in the warranty period.
              Besides this inspite of my entering into a maintenace contract no one checking his problem in 5 years time would also be a reason for the compressor being damaged.

              I would be grateful If you could send your Co. Personal to check whether the compressor has actually spoilt and if so whether it could be considered in the warranty period .

              Whirlpool — No Service technician attended since last 5 days

              I have lodged a complain regarding my Refregerator which was not working on 5th January 2010. My complain number : KL [protected]. Service center promised me to send technician by next day ie on 6th . But till today ie 11th no technician attended . I reminded them 3 times but no responce. I have an exted service contract with them till 27/08/10. Under that They have to give me service , Without Refregrerator, I am facing sever trouble for preserving goods. Please help.

              WELCOME to the FAULTY WORLD OF WHIRLPOOL ... Try to change the fridge with some good company one ASAP ... I have been suffering with them since 2 years. So many times all the stuff inside has gone waste. I wish i could parcel the fridge back to their CEO

              Whirlpool — No service in spite of having contract

              Dear Sir,
              I complained about my washing machine on the 01/07/10. My complaint
              number is MB[protected]. I was told I would get a call from the technician
              in 2 hours, and a visit the same day. It never happened, so I called
              again the next day and the technician came. He said that he couldn't fix
              machine, and would come back with another person. That didn't happen and
              I called every alternate day after that, and each time I was told that
              someone will call in two hours. Finally on 9th July I was told that they
              are waiting for a part and my machine will be repaired by Monday. Of
              course that didn't happen either.
              Today I called the service center and they said they are still waiting
              for the part. At whirlpool, such a big company, no spare parts? A person
              who has a contract with you has to wait for 15 days and more to get a
              machine repaired? What sort of service is that? I must say that your
              service is not just disappointing, it is PATHETIC!

              Worst Service, Worst Staff both at technical and at Managerial level.

              I have got a problem in my refrigerator and the engineer visited the my premises and told that there is insufficient gas in it, , so i paid him in advance and the refrigerator was taken to service center.After 4 days service center informed me that they are going to install some external condenser to it.i have provided them approval for it..After that they not contacted me .After 2 days i contacted them about the status, they replied that the compressor is not working and they have to replace compressor.
              Now the question arises:
              1. when Engineer visited my house, why he has not told me, about the problem of compressor-(This shows inexperience workforce used by whirlpool)
              2. when service center asked me to attach external condensor then also they stated that everything is working fine.(This also shows inexperience workforce used by whirlpool)
              3.When contacted their Manager, he replied without taking details of this that it is not in warranty, so we have to pay.

              We are ready to pay for it, but Whirlpool till now is not able to provide justification for thsi issue and i am still waiting for my refrigerator.

                Dear Sir

                I have a Whirlpool Sensation Neo Front Loading washing machine for last 3 years. Last week all of a sudden the spinning operation is not taking place. After loding complaint on Monday 18th (Complaint Number – [protected]) , the service representative from M/s Shree Enterprises visited us the same evening. After inspection he concluded that the Drain Filter is broken & needs replacement. The said part was not available in their (Service centre) store & indent has been raised on Pune Branch office.

                Thereafter I contacted Pune branch office to check the availability of part, which they said 1 week, as the part is not in Pune stores & needs to be procured from Pondichery office.

                As the machine is non usable, I wanted to talk to the head of branch, Mr. Rajesh Varma to expediate the things. Whenever I call the Pune bracnch, neither I am connected to Mr. Varma, nor him mobile number is shared. Every time I got a promise that Mr. Rajesh Varma will call me. I suppose Mr. Varma to be too busy in other activities since last 10 days that he is not finding time to call me.

                I had also called the helpline again to get the status; again I was told somebody will call me, nobody still has done so.

                After One week, on 25th to my surprise (I don’t Know, whether I should be expecting more surprises than this) I am told that today the photograph of the part would be sent to Pondichery office! Wow! The company doe not seem to have any spar party catalogue/ part numbers system. Only god Knows how do they make & servive the products

                Yesterday, 28th I am told that the part would need another one week to arrive. Again since 18th to 29th, nobody from Whirlppol has the courtesy to call or mail me.

                Can Anybody suggest the further cource of action for me?

                i registered a complaint in ur service centre through complaint no.DL[protected] dt 12/10/2010.
                i got wirlphool washing machine in January 2010 from Burari, Delhi. After some times, the machine is disturbing in spin time and the sound is abnormal in every movement during the spin time. I registered a compliant at your service centre, your servicemen came to my house and told me that motor of the spin is damaged and motor is not available in our stock at this time.I shall repair your machine atleast next two or three days.When I called again at your service centre, they told me om Monday your machine will be repaired. Your service man did not come. Then again i called your service centre on Wednesday, 20.10.2010, they told me next day your machine will be repaired. But next day when again I called your service centre to ask when your service man will be come. then they told me motor of the spin is not available. So your machine will be repaired next Tuesday. I am very disaapointed by your service which you provide to yuor customer. This is second time when I faced the same problem.
                so plz tell me what to do now, if i cant get proper service, what the use to buy your product.

                  I have purchased Whirlpool washing machine wight magic FSAN 652/SS Sl.No.7549 on 22/1/2010. Abnormal sound observed and the company has attended in 5/2010 again the trouble repeated in 7/2010. The complaint was attended on 14/10/2010. Again the problem is repeated while keeping service. Again complaint is made on 18/10/2010 and still it is kept pending.All this exercise was made with great pursuance with company, dealer & service agency and got a lot of mental agony and loss of money through transportation charges, cell call charges etc.
                  As such I found that the supplied machine is defective one and the service agency is unable to repair the problem.
                  In this context, please guide me for justice.

                  Whirlpool washing machine - FSAN652 — Poor customer service - HYD

                  Hi,

                  I brought a semiautomatic washing machine of whirlpool from Reliance digital (Banjara Hills) 8months back.

                  1month back i saw my drain selector got broke down. Still i could use it with my hand but thought of getting a new one. So i registered a complain on 2nd April with complain no-0756. After that their service agent came and told me that the part need to be replaced. He opened my machine and without fitting it went out and told me that with in 2 days he would be coming with the new part.

                  Its been 20 days no response from their end. I have been calling to their customer care cell in HYD but every time i am getting one simple answer "few more days..parts not available".
                  I am washing all my clothes in my hand from last 20 days.

                  I am really disappointed with the kind of service the world class company like whirlpool is providing. This is really frustrating and disgusting.
                  Can anyone tell me what i need to do ?

                    Dear sir/madam,

                    I have purchased a WHIRLPOOL refrigerator from Ketan Electronics, Jamnagar in June-2010.
                    At that time I was explained all the best part of the WHIRLPOOL product.

                    Now, the machine is not working ( has got cooling problem).
                    Technician from Whirlpool visited us and said that machine has to be sent to the service centre in Jamnagar from my residence (reliance greens, motikhavadi) and I have to pay (~ Rs. 500) for that.

                    The machine is not working because of some company problem. And we are asked to pay for that.
                    Is it fair enough? Why should I bear the transportation cost? It was not mentioned during the purchase.

                    Of course it might have written in the booklet but that should have been clearly said.
                    Rather, we were told about a very good service.

                    More over, I am trying to call their center at ahemdabad on [protected] but continuously busy.

                      I bought the 6th Sense refrigerator from Whirlpool about a year back. Now I am facing probelms - insufficient cooling. Food and vegetables go stale. First the service team came and changed sensor and charged me. After 4 days the probelm repeated. I again complained and after multiple followups then came and said it was the gas problem. After multiple escalations, they came fo filling the gas. They replaced the gas and in less than 48 hrs the problem is repeating. In less than 2 weeks the team has come twice but problem is not resolved. I am at pains to go thru this - and for the flagship product the 6th sense. I would be grateful if people can tell me who in Whirlpool will be able to solve this problem.

                      Service has been pathethic and the Whirlpool team least responsive. 6th sense has turned out to be non-sence and nuisance now.

                      My name is Kamal Gupta, address-B-13, Jeewan Park Uttam Nagar New delhi-110059, Mob. no. [protected]. Customer ID registered at Whirlpool customer care is DL/C/0907/71409.

                      I made a complaint to Whirlpool regarding non working of my old refrigerator on 21/09/07. At that time their service engineer came & told that gas needs to be filled. He filled the gas & charged Rs. 1200 for that.

                      Now after 1 month, again the refrigerator is not working, after contacting them again now they are saying that compressor needs to be changed whose cost is Rs. 2500.

                      Iam not crazy that within the warranty of servicing i need to put an amount of 3700 on an old refrigerator. if their service engineer would have told me this thing in his first visit, i would have not gone for servicing instead i would purchase a new one.
                      I found the services of Whirlpool very very bad & not conformimg to the standards in the industry.
                      I want prompt action on this issue as the refrigerator is of no use now. Either refund my money back or solve the fault otherwise consumer forum is the only way for me.

                      I brought the 350 litter whirlpool refrigerator four years before with an AMC for seven years. My customer id is 4810390. It goes to repair every six months and last on 31.01.09 it was totally gone out of order and was taken to whirlpool service centre, repaired and delivered back on 08.02.09. Today again it is not working. It is a deffective piece and you are requested to replace the same as early as possible. Usally refrigerator work with out any problem for more than 8 years. It is 100% true that it is deffective piece so please replace the same.
                      I purchased a new 405 ltr refrigerator from Whirlpool in march 2009 but in just 2 months time it started giving problem . despite 2 complaints being lodged with the company in this regard, no satisfactory repairs have been carried out.

                      I made a complaint against my refregerator at your No[protected] on 27.06.2009. Your service centre in Delhi Handa Refregeration, Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi is not providing proper service.
                      The engineer visited our house on 28.06.2009 and replaced the REPAIRED PART MODIFIED MODULE on 28.06.2009. But after the engineer left the house, the same problem arised anf the fridge is not working now. I immediately contacted your service centre M/S Handa Refrigeration who promised to send the engineer.

                      FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT WHETHER THE COMPANY IS REPLACING THE NEW PART OR OLD REPAIRED PART (MODIFIED MODULE).

                      refrigerator + whirlpool — non availability of sensor

                      I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator 2 years bck. It went out of order. The sixth sensing element not working. I asked the service centre. They informed that the semsor is not available for open sale. If service engineer comes they will charge a service charge of about Rs 600/= + cost of sensor say Rs 200. Pl inform how to get the sensor in the market say genuine spare part.
                      Referigerator is not working.
                      I have bought Whirlpool Double Door Refrigerator 350 Liters. I also have a Service Contract bought for 5 years (Annual Maintenance Contract).
                      There was a fire in the upper compartment on 7th Sept'10, I logged a complaint with Whirlpool Customer Care Complaint No. HR[protected],
                      The complaint is still pending with Whirlpool due to non availability of part, As per Whirlpool the model is obselte as its appx 7 years old. Only solution they offer is refund of AMC & discount on new refrigerator. without any Written confirmation

                        The purity of the water from the purifier was found to be at a higher TDS count than that of the tap water surprisingly true,even though the pressure of the water in the tap is good, but the installation guy told us that it was not enough for the water purifier to run at its desired efficiency this is ridiculous as a machine supposed to cost around 15000 INR shows problems which are so pathetic and they make you feel cheated .

                          PROTON PROTON PROTON (ROTTEN) the so called new refrigerator product of Whirlpool is one of the worst ever product I have bought. After buying this product I have a new guest coming to my place daily first Service engineer, then his boss, then his Area Service Engineer. To my dismay even the Qulaity team from factory also landed at my house to figure out the problem as if the product which I have bought is Beta ( Under R & D ) product. The conversation I had with engineers were that yes sir few PROTON refrigerator are having these problem. They even clicked photograph of Refrigerator and my house was that like some place where murder has happened and crime brach is visiting the scene.

                          Utimately quite reluctantly they replaced the frigde which was just 10 day old ( as if I will be getting some commission in replacement & they will be making heavy losses).

                          Replacement arrived agter 3 days and after 24 hrs I found that cooling is not happening and after I called up the customer care ( most laziest & non reponsive ) the simple answer given to me that this pecie also require replacement.                             We have purchased whirlpool fully automatic machine in 2009 July. Within 15 months I had to register complaints for 6 times. Every now and then some or the other part fails and functions stop. I doubt this company has any quality control department or not? Do they have qualified engineers to design their products? Do their seniors bother about the number of complaints coming from the same customer?

                            hi i am judge -in-charge of civil court chatra district in jharkhand. i complain a many times my complain no is 08622 dated 26/11/10 and 01514 dated 6/12/10. but all are said i have no gear box so i can not do any thing.

                              I have a Whirlpool 350 Litre Refrigerator bought 5 years back. To my dismay, Whirlpool has replaced almost EVERY SINGLE replaceable part in the machine, then given me a FREE replacement from their Pondicherry factory and again on the replaced fridge - they have repaired almost all parts excluding plastics. The final nail is that they have to replace the compressor 2 weeks back!!!. After that, still fridge isnt working.

                              The customer complaint centre is a bunch if rookie jokers by itself as they keep referring the same service engineer. WHen asked for escalation of complaint, they lied about and escalated to the same SERVICE Engineer!!!! what a joke.

                              The service engineer finally told us "sir, this 350 Litre Elite model" is a failure and they stopped production. You wont get any service also!!!

                                I had purchased Whirlpool RO purifier on May 2009, also i have taken AMC on July 2010, but still my RO purifier is unserviced. From 2 months i have complained for filter replacement, but no one from whirlpool is looking into it. i have called around 100 times to service center and customer care, but no response. i dont what should i do?

                                Whirlpool Service is Pathetic. I appeal to people NOT TO BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS.

                                Worst Product of Whirlpool
                                I had taken WhirlPool RO purifier before one year back and we can not bellive it that we have changed almost each part of Purifier. There are four types of Filter in RO Purifier..Post-Sediment, Pre-Carbon, Post-Carbon and RO Membrane Filter. Therefore, all these filters are changed within year and if you call customer care and raise your complain after that you have to call n number of times then engineer will visit your home. In last month when Membrane were going to change on that we have asked to replace the Machine because in every two months we are finding new problem and we were continously asking to change but they did not change but they offer us FREE AMC for one year because to show that how much there product is good and i was said on that time i am not happy with this because i know your product is not good so change to new one.

                                Now After one month complete pump system and supply chain stop to working. Just imagine all four filters are changed already and complete pump system is also corrupted. In my RO Purifier system only plastic body is not yet changed apart of all parts are like LOCAL PRODUCT...sorry to say..even local machine is better than WhirlPool.

                                I was taken this ro system in rs.12500/ and spend rs.4000/ within year..now they are asking 3000rs more for changing PUMP SYSTEM..Now just think, do you want to invest rs.17500 in year along with lot of tensions and high blood pressure and harassments. I was comparing that if i take bisleri water than it will cost to me 7200rs. I am blaming my self why did i choose this product and have taken this much tension.

                                I do not want to take any individual name of person whom i interacted because i found there are some people are good but maximum people are actually not deserve to be there. But before two days back Mr. Ronika Dua was said to me that she will discuss this issue with her VP to replace my machine but as she does not want to spoil her company image. She did not come to us, now what we can say.

                                Even i have called many times in their corporate office but no body pick up the call in one go. You need to make so many calls after that someone picked up the call than i left my massage to Mr. Atul Mathul Service head to call me but no reply.

                                I really wanted to do against this people because they take very lightly to any customers. They need to understand customer's issue but they do not.

                                I want to launch complain against them.

                                Whirlpool RO Purifier — Manufacture Defect

                                After 1 Year o[censored]sage facing lots of problem, the company suggest to change the membrane which cost nearly Rs. 2000 but it won't last more than one month. May be the membrane has manufacture defect, but the company is not ready to confront the fact and is ignoring. According to them, I need to purchase it again and install a new one. Is that really the thing is to be worked? What happen if the new one may be another defect? later I search for reviews for this company but I only get bad response against this company.
                                I had made a bad decision regarding this product purchase. Hope you don't be fooled just like me.

                                  I am keen to understand and also waht to know what should i do in case where a washing machine catches fire, and the company is not taking the complaint seriously.

                                  I am keen in understanding what were the safety mechanism for a washing machine which is practically a safe home applicance.                                     i purchased a refrigerator of Whirlpool a year and a half ago. but it became my biggest nightmare.

                                    the first breakdown happened within 3-4 months of purchase which was rectified by an engineer from the company. but the same problem occurred within a months time again.

                                    engineers from the company had already serviced my refrigerator 5 times for the same problem. 3-4 times within the warranty period and 2-3 times it was a paid service.
                                    next time the problem occurred within 24 hours of the service. and this time i was told that its a manufacturing defect and it has to be send to the service center.

                                    My refrigerator had already been to company service center 3 times but with no results.

                                    My complaint numbers are :

                                    After my complaint on 2.10.10 I was told that there will a Quality Check Visit from the company since it’s a manufacturing defect and cannot be rectified. Since then I am waiting for a quality check from company side. Despite my n number of calls to the customer care I am always told that engineers will be coming soon.

                                    I had been in contact with these executives at customer care who had been neglecting my repeated complaints.

                                      I bought a 3 door refrigerator from whirlpool 12 Aug 2010.
                                      This appliance cought fire
                                      with its circuit and display. There was a football size flame.
                                      After that the refrigerator is not working. Repair man came and
                                      could not repair.

                                      This machine is bought on 12 August 2010 and since then three
                                      complains are made of not working properly. Not proper service.

                                      When I call service centre they keep tuturing me by giving various
                                      STD numbers. I keep spending STD bills and keep calling and telling
                                      my problem to whirlpool service centre, replacement centre & various whirl
                                      pool numbers with STD call bills.

                                      But nothing happening only false promises of replacements they say call after vacation, holidays, etc. I have paid 28 thousand for the fridge and living with a NOT working
                                      refrigerator of whirlpool since more than one month.

                                      It is a basically harrasment and health hazard product from whirlpool.

                                        I have purchased new fridge from Whirlpool & facing problem in warranty period.

                                        Problem Details:- As per Invoice product is in warranty when i log complaint. After engineer visit & diagnose he confirm compressor is dead & need to be replaced but installed compressor is not our company, so it will not comes under warranty.

                                        When product is in warranty why we will replace any component ? As per dealer where we purchase the product he did not install the other compressor.

                                        Whirlpool India — complaint no -DL0810029235 dt.29th Aug'10

                                        I had taken AMC for maintaining the washing machine, which includes free replacement of parts. Despite this company asking for money for many parts.
                                        I paid advance of Rs 2750/- on 29/0810 with a promise that machine will be taken to their authorised service centre, M/s Gemini Home appliance & Services, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, and will be returned within a week.
                                        machine is not returned yet even after 20 days and no definite answer given by helpline
                                        Same had happened earlier also
