    Complaint: I purchased a refregerator (Whirl Pool) on 20th April2008 from Kapila Electronics Janak Puri, New Delhi. The next day Whirl pool engineer visited and informed that the sealing rubber is defective and the fridge has to be replaced with a new one which the company will replace within 3 days. Same was passed on to Kapila Electronics, the dealer.

    I have been repeatedly calling them (Whirl Pool Customer Care) up but there has been no responce from whirl pool till date. The persons concerned at the customer care are Mr. Suraj and Mr. Saurabh.

    Kindly advise and take necessary action.

      I bought my Whirlpool 260L Elite refrigerator in Bangalore from UNILET.
      I bought my refrigerator last year and had cooling problems 4 times since. The last problem arose around 1 week before the warranty was to expire. On raising a complaint a serviceman visited and said a component needs to be replaced and would come the next day. That was the last I heard of him. I keep calling the service center on the number 60008558 for more than 15 days and even the UNILET showroom. Each time they say they are sending the service person within a few hours ! but nobody turns up.
      I am going to complain to the Consumer Disputes Redressed Forum in Bangalore.
      Whirlpool has the most inferior parts in their refrigerator and their service is pathetic and they are deceitful.
      Never in my life will my family and friends buy another Whirlpool product.
      Kajole and Ajay if you are reading this please dont promote deceitful Whirlpool, it will ruin your image.

        I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator of model 310l Iceberg on 30.12.07 from a well known dealer in south Kolkata. Within few days after Installation I find that foods inside the fridge not getting cold enough as it should be. For few weeks it was neglected because due to cold climatic condition during winter.
        From end February 2008 the situation became worst day by day, the fridge is not getting cold. Immediately I informed the service center and explained this defect. The service person came and inspected the refrigerator and said that there is some problem/jam in the cooling compressor pipe. The Refrigerator has to be taken to their service centre because it cannot be repaired in my residence and it would take two to three days to get it repaired. I asked them for a replacement because it is a new refrigerator, about 3 months old and why should I get my new refrigerator repaired?. The service person said that Replacement is not their Company's policy, they can repair it cannot replace it. However I agreed and asked them for a substitute as I need to store baby food, milk for my baby, medicine for my mother etc... The Company denied my request and promised that they will return my refrigerator within two days. I agree with them because I find there is no need to keep a refrigerator which is not functioning. I called the service centre and requested them to take my refrigerator for repair. Today is May 14, 2008 still the service centre has not taken my refrigerator nor they contacted me. I am in problem, can you help me ?

        Whirlpool India — fridge with manufacturing defect

        I purchased a 310 litre deluxe iceberg Whirpool refrigerator from Hypercity, Mumbai on 13-apr -2008.

        - The installation engineer (upon delivery on 19-apr-2008), who opened the packaging found the ice tray broken and the insides covered with dirt.

        - On our protests on replacing the defective piece, the technician left without completing installation formalities (leveling the fridge, demo etc), promising to return with a replacement the next day.

        - After repeated enquires over the last 6 days, which included specific timelines given by the service centre for technician visit that were dishonored, the Whirlpool service centre informed us today that the spare part is not available.

        - Whirlpool and its customer service cell have caused me and my family great mental anguish (which includes calling up during office hours for service and not turning up). The service quality has been dismally poor and caused immense stress to my family.

        - We have been delivered a defective piece and would like the refrigerator to be replaced. I request you to kindly look into this matter at the earliest.
        My refrigerator has not been repaired by the service engineer Vishal Sonar on one pretext or another. Today I contacted him and he says the parts are not available. Earlier he said that he was in a training programme and could not attend the complaint. Even earlier he said that the Model Number is not recognisable. Earlier than that he said I supplied him a funny Model Number.
        He is intelligent thats why the Company is paying him to avoid the trouble of attending to the complaints. Shall I buy another Whirlpool product? Shall I tell my friends how the Whirlpool treats its customers? Obvious.

        My whirlpool refrigerator model mastermind elitte delux gathering huge ice causing problem. how can i contact service centre as given nos. not working.
        I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator professional 32 elite from great eastern electronics in uttarpara branch on 13th december.Firstly there was a wheel missing in the bottom of the refrigerator.The serviceman told me that he will replace that within one day.But still now he don't come to replace the wheel.I also see there were several racks such as cane racks, egg racks, a racks in the freezer portion are missing.I request the customer service of whirlpool that they should take proper action as soon as possible against the konnagar customer care or i will go to consumer court for complaints against you.

        whirlpool/refrigerator — Manufacturing Defect

        I had purchased a refrigerator on 24th Aug'08 (Whirlpool Ref 340DLX Professional Titanium).

        The said refrigerator had problem of water deposit in the lower component since beginning and the company service representative had been visiting regularly.

        A month back a service person had put black tapes in the freezer component to stop water flow as if I had purchased a second hand defective piece. Later a service man came and told that the piece has manufacturing defect and he will have to rectify the same after opening the back of the freezer.

        The company has supplied a defective piece and does not bother to replace the same. I had been calling the service center and have not received a positive response.

        I have been under mental torture and harassment by the company .
        bought a Whirlpool refrigerator of model 310l Iceberg on month of May 2009 from a well known dealer in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). Next day after Installation I find that foods inside the fridge not getting cold enough as it should be and the entire body heating to much.

        professional 32Elite refrigerator — fridge not working.

        Sir/Madam,

        We purchased 310Elite model on 29th August '08, right from the beginning we were facing problems with the cooling- none of the vegetables or fruits kept in the special compartments used to remain fresh.
        A complaint was registered and the service men came and stuffed some cardboard pieces between the freezer door beading, saying that this would solve the problem but to no avail.
        Finally, by the first week of May '09 the freezer door gave way, complaint was filed again.But this time we had to wait for weeks for a service man to come and see the problem, they said the freezer door just needed to be changed.Even this simple suggestion took weeks and numerous phone calls to get through.
        But since the company has stopped production of this model and hence no spares available, they finally agreed to replace it with a new fridge.

        This took another three weeks to happen. So finally on 25th of June '09, they delivered Professional 32Elite Model.The fridge worked well for 3weeks but on 20th July '09 suddenly its cooling stopped and all the things in the freezer compartment got spoiled.All the display lights and LED was working but NO COOLING.

        A complaint was registered immediately but luckily this time they were quick to respond.
        Before the service men came the fridge started working as usual and so they couldnot find out what the problem is.The same evening again the fridge went dead but started working the next moring i.e 24th.
        But since the afternoon it stopped working completely and is dead till now though the lights are still functioning all this while.The problem was reported again and the service people said they required a module to rectify the problem, which will take atleast three days.

        And so we are left in cold with a dead fridge for the next few days... or weeks... or months...

        We had opted for your company simply because we thought you were the best and had faith in your products.But what happened and is still happening is absurd and unacceptable.So out of this disappointment, the only way out is to wait for your quick reponse or else we would be forced to take matters into our hands and to think about the legal options.

        Whirlpool — Post-purchase Service for Refrigerator 310L ELITE

        i am an dissatisified owner of whirlpool refregirator 310L ELITE
        ...I don't know whether the problem lies with whirlpool or Kevin serivces - your authorized service agents who seem to be inadequately trained i am sorry to say that i am dissatisified with your service ... the story goes like this...
        1) We bought refrigerator replacing my good old godrej refregirator which hardly gave me any problems ( still being used by one of my relatives as a back-up option) on 04th Jan 2008 ...

        2) Was happy with the refregirator for an year aand half... two months back there was a problem with my refg. the problem was that the led lights of "6th sense, eco, Alarm Reset" were blinking continuously.

        3) So i called up the dealer(Tirumala Musci Centre) from whom i bought the refg. came and inspected and tried to rectify the problem and he couldn't do it ... so he advised us to call whirpool cust. care

        4) The representative from kevin services came and he replaced some parts like sensor etc and left saying that it would rectify the problem but the problem persisted

        5) After contacting whirpool again another representative came and changes the PCB board which controls sensor and toher logics(as told by the service technician)... he waited for half hour and left as the problem seemed to be rectified... and the problem reappeard on the same day and i called the customer care centre and asked them to rectify asap and i do not have response until now...

        6) I called up the cust. care centre again and tried to escalate the problem today ...

        Can anyone please guide me to the right person to escalate this matter...

        I also have worst experience with the quality of service.the technicians have filled the gas, replaced the compressor and still the fridge doesnot cool.Their work quality is so poor the gas escapes within three months, causing lots of hardship to the consumers and they donot under stand how important fridge is in hot Chennai.I feel that they donot value the costomers or they are not capable of handling the work.

        I am very much aggrieved after purchasing a Whirlpool Refrigerator from M/s Ashoka Trading Co., Sector 16, Faridabad Vide Bill No. 2754 dated 14.08.2009. Model No. is 250 Classic Plus 706641. I have observed the following problems in my Whirlpool Refrigerator :-

        1. All of a sudden, the refrigerator is switched off in running condition and hence cooling is stopped without our knowlege. Consequently, off and on our costly food items are destroyed line milk, paneer, sweets.
        2. One of the base wheels is broken.

        For this defect, I lodged complaint immediately to Whirlpool Call/Service Centre to Miss Pooja and received Complaint No. HR[protected] and 16 on 23.09.2009 when my refrigerator began defective. But the concerned persons of Whirlpool are not at all bothered for its repair properly. One of the person, Mr. Kamal Jeet Singh, Sr. Engineer from Whirlpool posted at Delhi attended twice for its repair but of no invain. First time he could not detect the fault and on his second visit, he replaced a part but the position is still as it is.

        I am now fed up, my refrigerator may please be replaced with another new one otherwise I am making my mood to go to the Consumer Court very shortly. Neither the behaviour of the persons of M/s Ashoka Trading nor the service of Whirlpool concerned person is satisfactory. I have no trust now in this refrigerator. Day-by-day lot of my costly food items have spoiled. For this, Whirlpool is fully responsible for such mental harrasment to us.

        Refrigerator Whirlpool — LEVELLING PROBLEM

        We bought a whirlpool fridge double door and after buying we observed that it has got levelling problem.after some persuasion and regular complaints the technician came and said that this problem cannot be resolved and we need to change the fridge.he will fill the formality forms and will get back to us soon.but the technician never turned backnor any complaints forms were filled.again by regular complaints technician came took the photographs and asked us to visit us the zonal office or service center and contact the zonal head.we went and contacted the zonal head and he assured us that problem will be resolved within two or three working days.but nobody turned up yet.till now the problem has not been resolved.

        Whirlpool Refrigerator — manufacturing defect

        I have brought a refrigerator from shri ram electronics [ authorized dealer of whirlpool electronics products] on 04-April-2010. but after delivery of product , I saw inside the refrigerator there are having some cracks in ice cube container & thermo-sate bucket.

        Whirlpool Refrigerator — Manufacturing defect in refrigerator

        Hi,

        I am writing this mail after facing lot of hassle from your product what I we have purchased 1.5 years back,
        We purchased refrigerator -450litre Deluxe, Titanium Model-INEO91600521, within 6month of purchasing water started leaking in the fridge, After complaining this to your survive centre they made some shabby job and it again started leaking within 1 month of the service , in last 1.5 years we have faced 4~5 times the same problem, I don’t know why you people sell defective fridge to innocent customer, Now your service people are telling me that this defect can’t be rectified so its better to replace the fridge with 15% cost to be given by me, Why should I pay for something for which I have nothing to do, It’s a manufacturing defect and needs to be replaced as repair is not working….
        I don’t understand why this kind of customer care is done, If my problem is not resolved urgently I will take this up with consumer court,

        Dear Sir,

        I had buy refrigerator Model REF 300L PRTN LDX WN on 14/06/2010 from Coroma 12/7 Mathura road Faridabad with extended warrnaty. In Feb 2012 found that outside door biding is breaking wihtout any reason I had make complain to Whirlpool customer care in Feb Req no HR 021200 but problem not resolve after that i had make so many complains as given below but problem is not resvolve till that. I want say that whirlpool has very very wrost services.

          i have a problem with my ac (whirlpool).i had called so many times the service center of erode(tamilnadu).but there is no response so far.The ac problem is water leakge in indoor.but nobody has come so far.please take action regarding this.i purchased whirlpool just 25 days before in erode.

          I purchased Wirlpool washing machine on 18.07.2007. After two years warranty, I came across a problem in my washing mahine. As per the srvice agent advice, I agreed for a two years Annual Maintenance Contract by paying Rs. 2800 and he gave me the bill. S.S.AIR FRIDGE & ELECTRONICS, kANCHIPURAM dated 26.06.09. All of a sudden they told that they are cancelling my AMC and asked me to take back tha money. I did not agree as my washing machine was under repair and after seeing the problem he refused to take the AMC. He is playing with me and did a fraud business. So many complaints were given and nothing happened. Henceforth do not go for AMC as they are fooling us and doing fraud.

            I purchaged whirlpool refrigirator model no9280 /chasis no inco[protected] from Innovations Eluru west godavari district Andhra Pradesh pin 534002 with cash receipt no54 dt 15.04.2005 .the door of refrigirator not closing properly.the same was bring to the notice of the dealer .But there is no use .On dt12.04.2006 i send a complaint through registerd post and fax the same complaint to consumer griveance ceel hyderabad fax no [protected].even today my problem not solved

              Sir,
              Subject: Complaint against the rust formation in the recently purchased refrigerator-reg

              I have the purchased WHIRLPOOL Refrigerator in one of the reputed dealer in Chennai. I want to inform you that my refrigerator has got a formation of rust in the bottom of the door panel. This product is just two years old. Moreover our previous fridge was working in good condition without any kind of rust formation nearly for 15 years.
              Herewith I have attached a photo image of this rusted door. So I kindly request you to change necessary action to change the door of my refrigerator.
              I would like to thank the organization for your response on my previous complaint about the compressor which was replaced six months back. (There was a noise while opening or closing the door of refrigerator).

                Subject : Poor performance of Air Conditioner-Replacement regarding.

                We purchased a 1.5 Ton Window AC on 25.06.08 through M/s ACE TECHNOMARK, Noida. The references of the AC are given below :

                Make ; Whirlpool
                Model : Magicool 150EL 1.5 TR Window AC

                Observation & complaint :

                1. AC has undergone “One Dry” and “One Wet Servicing” during winter season.
                2. On 31.03.08, when we switched on the AC, it was found that “Compressor was not working”.
                3. We lodged complaint to Customer Care. The service engineer visited the premises and declared “Leakage of Gas”, just after 9 months of its purchase (within warranty period).
                4. The gas was refilled on 03.04.08.

                Inference : It is highly unacceptable that the product of an Internationally Reputed Company like Whirpool develops a fault just within a few months. As an electronic engineer, I think there is some “Manufacturing deficiency atleast in this particular piece”. It can be imagined well what impact it produces on the customer’s psychology, about the quality of the product. It is worth mentioning here that our immediate neighbor also purchased AC of Samsung make at the same time but that is working very fine.

                Keeping in view the above facts, it is demanded that this particular piece should be “Replaced immediately” to maintain the reputation of the company as well as keeping customer’s faith in Whirpool intact.                 Dear Sir,
                This is Ullas staying in Trivandrum.
                I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment after buying a whirlpool product last year on 26/12/2007 from a showroom in Trivandrum..
                I bought a whirlpool Microwave oven on 26/12/2007 . I stared using it according to the information given by company representatives as well as the company specifications.
                The oven went totally out of order 5 times till date all these time. I have given the company service centre. I was totally annoyed by the performance of the product.
                Today I am in a state of mind that I should not use any whirlpool product in my life as well as I will not recommend any of my friends to use this product even I am in a state of mind that I should go for any further action.
                I thought its my duty to make this Scenario into notice of concerned people before coming into conclusion. This is my last ray of hope before I blast out of control.
                So please take my complaint seriously.

                whirlpool 1 TR Split ac — Pathetic Performance and bad customer service

                I had purchased a 1 TR split ac in Pune from ANTARTICA- Shop No.54, Parmar Nagar, Fatima Nagar, Pune-411013.[protected] Invoice/Service Report No. 4152 on 31/10/2007.
                Mr. Lawrence had installed the ac and exchanged the remote control which stopped working within a couple of days time from purchase of the ac. Since installation till today, no one has come or contacted for any servicing inspite of our requests.
                The performance of the ac has been pathetic with very ineffecient cooling effect. Finally, today we got a chance to speak with Mr.Fahim from Antartice and reported the issue once again.
                Now, they are saying that the warranty period is over and Mr.Lawrence is no more working with them.
                We also got to know that ANTARTICA is not an authorised dealer in Whirlpool products????????

                However, would like to know that WHirlpool being such a reputed and esteemed brand which is globally recognised, is this the customer service provided to the consumers??
                You are requested to kindly intervene and investigate in the above matter by getting in touch with ANTARTICA and request to get back to us.

                i observed that A/c was consuming more light and sounding much . even it was giving less cooling. i complaint at the maya sales regarding the ac .when i purchased the A/C, maya sales promised me that they will provide me 4 free service in 1st year and i have been there 5 times regarding my problem and they only said we will come and no service was given to me.
                this is very shameful for maya sales and even for whirlpool that they only sale the product and dont care about costmeres.

                whirlpool air conditioners — poor customer response

                Sir,

                I am writing this complaint to bring light on the poor customer response from whirlpool India ltd. I've lodged a complaint regarding my air-conditioner on the 12th of march 2010, the agent has already taken the photocopy of the bill on the 14th of march, but no action has been taken since then and is causing a great amount of inconvenience. We've called the customer care regularly and the only response we get is that they will send a person to repair it. After urging them to repair it as soon as possible, now they've come up with a new excuse that they don't have the required compressor for repairing the A/C. its 29th of april today and 1 and half months have passed but still the sir conditioner is non functional.

                I'd like to request you to see into the matter and take the strictest measures possible, my complaint number is lko[protected]. Your help would be highly appreciated.

                I lodged a complaint vide complaint no DL [protected] at the Whirlpool customer care number on 29th for the airconditioner and the engineer visited us the same day and said that the fan motor needed to be changed. We have an AMC and the company is to replace the old one with the new one. The engineer told us that he'd call us on 30th at 10am to tell his time of visit with the fan motor the same day. No calls came and we called him the next day to learn that he's on leave and advised us to get in touch with the customer care centre. Since then, we have been calling the customer care centres everyday and the executives on the line are saying that the engineer will visit the same day/ Today, when I called the engineer, he informed me that the parts were not available at the service centre and that's the reason the engineer could not visit earlier. He also informed that the spare parts have come and that the engineer will visit us by 1pm today. It is now 5.30pm and there is neither any call from the engineer not any one has visited us.

                We wonder how many more days we have to wait to get the airconditioner to the running condition. Why the complaints are not attended to urgently.

                This is to request this forum to take up the matter with the right authority and get the issue resolved.

                whirlpool/1.5 T window AC — No service within warranty period

                Purchased the AC on 12/07/2010 from a recognized whirlpool noida dealer ACE Technomark Noida . Now the AC is not working properly. Lodged complaint on 03/05/2011( Complain no GB[protected] ) through companies complaint registration system ( Noida tel no 6000855 ). Till date the problem not solved and none from Whirlpool service center visited to check the AC. Sent several e mails to different registered Whirlpool offices located at Delhi and Gurgaon but the company do not have the courtesy to acknowledge or reply the mails.

                Whirlpool India Mastermind Window 1.5 TON ac — Poor Service and Quality

                Dear Sir,

                I have been going through lot of harassment and experiencing poor quality of service from Whirlpool Service Centre AM COOL Engineers.
                I had got gas filled up in May after lot of hue and cry as there was shortage at that point of time.
                Within 2 months I have experienced another leakage and now they say I have to pay 2150/ approx. I am helpless and they even suggest that I should take AMC of 2000 to protect myself from such expenses.

                Poor service and fleecing customers has become an habit of companies like Whirlpool.

                  Hi,

                  I purchased Whirlpool 6th sense-Sensation-Elite Model(Front Loading Machine) on June 26th 2008.I would like to share my experience regarding Whirlpool service.On the first demo of the machine we found that the door lock LED was not glowing after 15 min of starting the machine.I told about that problem to the service man.By calling him on phone for 15 days, he told us that we want to change the entire panel board.He took upto 1 month to change the panel.After that change, the problem was not vanished.Then i called to the senior service man and informed about the worst service and the problem.Then he came for a solution to repalce the machine, It took 2 months from the date of purchase to replace it.After that struggle, we used the machine for just one month, again we got another major problem-Outlet water leakage in the machine.I had lodged a complaint with their customer care about water leakage (Outlet water was leaking outside of the machine). 25days and still no being has attended the call or bothered to inform. I have till date followed it upto 25-30 times with the customer care centre(this is the only face they have for service, no local service centre contact details are available anywhere). The customer care executives promptly utter what has been taught to them and add another counter to the already registed call. They commit that some of their "SENIORS" will communicate back but that commitment is never fulfilled. I can name few of the customer care executives and their seniors but it will be of no use as it is not their fault. They are victims of a bigger corporate policies and strategies.Still i didn't get the good reply from the service man.


                  My strong suggestion is dont go for any Whirlpool products.

                  Whirlpool Washing Machine — Leakage of water

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  When I am putting water in wash tub 25% of water is flowing in spinner tub instead of wash tub & when i am putting water in spinner tub the same ratio of water is flowing in wash tub & the Washing Machine is in warranty period.

                  i bought whirlpool refrigertor in 2006 n from last two years, i have been facing the problem of water leakage from the deodrizer of the fridge.. n the service providers are not well trained to overcome this problem.. more than 4 times i have registerd the complaints but i havnt got any satisfactory results ...i still face the same problem . according to me one should never purchase the whirlpool product in order to save their hard earned money ........ itz a big wastage to buy whirlpool product,,

                      My 1.5 ton Ac is covered by an annual maintenance contract. I lodged a complaint on 26th April since it was not functioning . I was given complaint numberGB [protected].The technician came on 27th April and told me that the compressor is defective and the switch panel of the Ac is not functionig. He did some temporary repair and told me to use the AC and that he would ring me up on 28th morning to check the status. The compressor stopped functioning after 2 to 3 hours. Since no one contacted me I lodged another complaint on the morning of 28th April giving all these details. No one came, so I gave a reminder in the evening. ON both ocassions I was assured that an urgent request has been sent. No one has either contacted me or come to attend to the problem. This callous attitude whrein no one has attended to the complaint for the past 96 hours and we have had to sleep without the Ac for 2 nights speaks volumes of the efficiecy of a company of your repute. I request that the matter be investigated and the Ac be repaired at the earliest.

                        I have complaint against Whirlpool Company and its servicing Executives/Engineers, who take customers for a ride. I have brought this Whirlpool 0.8 ton AC in Chennai, less than 9 months ago. Suddenly it stopped cooling around three weeks back. I caled Whirlpool customer care, and after repeated calls to their call centers, was able to get a 10 minute visit from their executive on April 6, 2008. This executive informed that my AC's problem is gas leakage and the it has to go to workshop to get fixed. He also said that a different executive will visit me the next day to collect the AC for workshop.
                        I have never heard from Whirlpool again. I have called Whirlpool call center in Chennai more than 20 times since then, and they have only given me number of another Whirlpool executives Kumar ([protected]) and Barathi/Sarathi([protected]), who have only given me false assurances of coming and picking the AC, since then. They have asked me to come home from office early on various days (I am a working women) and have not turned up or call. They have also stopped taking my call. I am in a great fix as whom to approach for help and rectification of my problem.The AC is still under warranty period and they just want money.
                        I have lost all faith in whirlpool.

                        Whatever said above is 100% true. The only differnece in my case is, the AC is less than 1 month old. ACs from this company are unreliable products. Customer's pls avoid buying these brand of products and delears pls avoid taking dealership for this useless produts to avoid getting bad impression from customers. Anyway some legal action has to be taken i'm into that process
                        now.

                          I bought one Whirpool make washing machine vide model no H65 on 14th Apr, 08 from one of its Dealer M/s. Khosla Electronics, Raja S.C.Mallik Road, Garia, Opp.Garia Andrews College, Kolkata. vide Cash Memo No.GWM 5978 Dtd.14.04.2008.

                          The dealer delivered a damaged machine on 15.04.2008 which was noted down by copany's service man when came for installation and reported to the aforesaid company and dealer too. Since then, till date there is replacment received inspite of repeated followups at dealer's place. Moreover, they misdealt everytime whenever contacted.

                          Request help immediately.

                          This is ridhanya from coimbatore, Tamilnadu... I totally agree wit wat u say.. i bought a whirpool fully automatic Washin machine durin Dec 2008 which created lots of problems.. i was upset with the condition of the machine and also wit the poor service of Whirpool for the past 3 months.. Whenever i called up the customer care and made a complaint reg the non workin of my washing machin, they told that they wud immediately attend by sendin a service executive, but never turned up at anytime.. Many times i was left unattended even without a proper reply.. Due to frustration, i consulted an advocate and asked for a legal advice in order to file a consumer case against the whirpool.. Through him, i sent a legal notice... Surprisingly, within two days of the receipt of the legal notice wich i sent throu this lawyer, the service men came to my house and made my washin machine work properly..Thanks to the advocate...! Now my machine works properly without any problem..

                            With due respect, I want to draw ur kind attention towards the compaint of my Whirlpool Top Loader Fully Automatic Washing Machine purchased it on 09.12.2006.

                            I have made several complaint to ur customer care (on[protected] as well as authorized service centre but of no use. Everytime when I called them they said that the engineer will come today tomm at this time at that time all lame excuses and by end of the day there is no news of engineer. Its been more than 3 days days now . My machine is under warranty then also they are giving this service.
                            So i am very frustrated and facing mental harassment bcz i m facing great trouble with all of this procedure.

                              I have Purchased whirlpool refrigerator 250 ltr. (double door) dated on 12/04/2008 (FULL CASH PAYMENT) from M/S. FAIR ELECTRONICS, (BHANDUP - WEST), i got the delivery on 13/04/2008, that full day refrigerator cooling was OK. next day only it means on 14/04/2008 its stop cooling. now its not responding at all, so on 14/04/2008 I call to the manager of M/S. FAIR ELECTRONICS, regarding this problem so he told me that he will send technical person within one day only, so we wait at home that full day but nobody come till date to check the problem.

                              today also we call to that shop to send technical person but i got the answer today i. e. on 17/04/2008, whirlpool its self send their technician to check the problem, since 15, 16, & 17 we are calling them to visit our home but nobody come till date. Even we not get the after sale service from whirlpool sales department.

                              me n my husband we both are working as we cannot take the leave every time. but these people not even manage to send their technician to check the problem. they not even send their technicians to introduce the functions after saling their product.

                              so i got very good exp. of this new brand whirlpool refregerator.

Complaint have been registered with Whirl Pool complaint cell on 07.01.08 but so for complaint have not been addressed due to non availability of the spares at the Chennai office, it is learnt from the officials that they have sent a requisition to the H.O but there was no reply it seems.
                              Please kindly help the concerned executive to attend the problem with the right spares in time and also me for the quick recovery from the complaints.

                              Whirlpool Refrigerator — Fridge stopped working

                              As soon as i put the Fridge socket into the Powe Board, entire flat's MCv gets tripped.I tries showing to an electrician, and he say's that the timer has been short circuited.

                              Whirlpool Refrigerator — Stops working often

                              I had purchased Whirlpool refridgerator (F200 GEN XL PREMIER STEEL) on 13 /5/09 from FAIRDEAL AGENCIES, hazratganj, lucknow. Few days after the purchase it stopped working,for which i complained in customer care center of whirlpool. The person who came to attend the complaint told that there is no problem with refridgerator and this problem is due to low voltage and asked to use voltage stabalizer,i would like to inform that there is no such problem of voltage in our locality,and manufacturer also claims that NO STABALIZER is needed, After that there have been several such episodes, i tried to complaint again but i could not contact.

                                Whirlpool India Ltd. / White Magic Wasing Machine — Authorised service centre not entertaining my complain no. PT-0807003392 dt.30/08/2007

                                Dear Sir,
                                I had purchased a White Magic washing m/c. of your company on 14/8/03 with two years warranty. The warranty was got extended again for two years vide application form cum receipt no. HPO1-195192 at 13/4/06. The aforesaid washing m/c. was sent to your authorized service centre for chemical cleaning, depositing the charge Rs 350/- to the Patna workshop on 31/8/2007 vides complain no. PT-[protected] dt.30/08/2007.
                                Knowing the performance & reliability of your product & company I went to prefer to buy your product keeping aside to other products.
                                At service centre the m/c. was inspected by service engineer and I was told that “Agitator & Lid switch” needs replacement due to their poor performance.
                                Initially, i.e... On 31/08/07, I was assured that within a week of time troubles of my washing m/c. will be sorted out. And thereafter only weeks went on changing. Now it has become a dream only to me that I would get my washing m/c. in operating condition.
                                It is very sad to note that the authorized service centre is not at all paying any attention to get rectified complaining of my washing m/c. Instead, it enjoys running customers pillar to post. Even after several telephonic and physical reminders till 06/10/07/2007 neither I got my washing machine nor any satisfactory reply from Patna office or workshop i.e. service centre.
                                At this fade-up juncture, I would like to draw your kind attention & hope that you will look into the matter & try to resolve it expeditiously.
                                Please do the needful as early as possible and oblige.

                                I purchased a refrigerator from das camp branch. its 340 ice bag dlx model and i paid 22500 rs for that and they promised me that i will get a pendant worth 2300 rs free with it. I purchasded that on 17 sep 2007 and i still have no t received the pendant, whenever i call das or visit them they advise me that whirlpool has not sent the same so wait for 4 days.its been almost 20 days now. I spoke with mr vivek ( sales executive pune division) ph no [protected].he said i will receive that by next saturday.I think its just running arond the bush.I want to know if i will really get that gift that was promised to me when i bought the fridge.and why did das charge me 133 rs for that gift?

                                Whirlpool India Refrigerator — Inadequate after sale services

                                Dear Sir,

                                Subject:- Deficient service after sale of product & consumer harassment

                                It is to inform you that I purchased the “Fusion Maxigerator 6 sence” of your company from “Next “ retail shop ludhiana on 9th April,07 vide bill no BTC/07-08/74.
                                But the company did not bother to depute any person to my residence for installation and demonstration of the refrigerator.
                                On 21st September.07, the cooling in the refrigerator stopped all of a sudden & I lodged a complaint with Next retail shop which, in turn, forwarded the complaint to Whirlpool service center who charged Rs.2000 for replacing the freezer despite covered under warranty period & fridge was delivered to me on 30th September,07 i.e. after 9 days. The detail is as under-
                                • The representative of the service centre visited my residence on 24th September,07 & after inspection could not locate the fault & informed that the instrument has to be shifted to workshop for locating the fault.
                                • On 25th September,07 , he informed on phone that there is a cut mark by knife in the rear portion of the base of the freezer & the freezer has to be replaced. The service centre refused to replace the freezer & insisted me to pay Rs.2000 . As the refrigerator was in their possession. I had no other alternative but to pay the money.
                                • On 28th September,07, the service station owner informed me on phone that the refrigerator has been repaired.
                                • I went to service station at 7:00p.m. & requested the owner to send the refrigerator to my residence. The owner asked me to pay Rs.2000 to which I agreed with the request that the fridge should be sent immediately. But he informed me that it will be sent next day.
                                • I paid him Rs.1000 with the promise that the balance of Rs.1000 will be paid as soon as the refrigerator reaches my residence to which he agreed.
                                • But on 29th September,07 , he didn’t send it & when I phoned him in the evening, he insisted that the refrigerator will only be sent after I pay him the balance amount at his office. As I have no other alternative , I went to his office on 30th September,07 paid him the balance amount & then he sent the fridge to my residence.
                                In the above context, I may bring into notice the following points-
                                1. It was the duty of your company to depute some qualified person for installation of refrigerator at my residence.
                                2. We are 3 members in my house & all are literate & know how to use the electronic goods.
                                3. Further we don’t require any ice in the month of September when there is no much heat.
                                4. If, for a moment, it is supposed that it was a cut made by knife, how it can be made at the rear end of the base of freezer especially when it is covered with a utensil containing ice. As such the plea of service station that the cut been made by knife in freezer is not maintainable.
                                5. Moreover, the representative did not locate the fault at my residence & informed me about it only when the refrigerator reached their workshop.

                                As such, I had to pay Rs.2000 for no fault of mine though refrigerator was in warranty period & it was duty of service station to replace the defected part but he rather made me responsible for it. Further the service station didn’t send refrigerator to my place even after payment of Rs.1000 with the promise that the balance will be paid after refrigerator reaches my house.
                                In the light of above, the company has failed to meet its obligation towards consumers during warranty period & providing after sale services. As such I lodge my claim for refund of Rs.2000 , within one month after which I will be free to knock at the door of consumer forum & claim my refund with the claim of mentally harassing the customer.

                                buyed that they gave me their first defected piece and at the time of

                                hours till the time of charging after that whent their was a power cut

                                it was creating irritating noise after every half an hour after that

                                as under observation well good enough after four days of suffering

                                But Its not delivered till today (20th June).

I spoke to many a people; the agents were Bala, Suraj (Manager) and Manoj (CCMT MANAGER) who all promised that the problem would be recovered in 2 days. Well, the Phrase" Promises are meant to Broken ", Truly applies to The Company WHIRLPOOL.Approxamately I had made 20-30 calls, at last I came to know it was a call centre in Delhi. They Seem to have a big Communication Gap with the Local people in Bangalore .Some how, I took the number of the local people .Here they seem to be absolutely Ridiculous, there are very careless to Customers .Inspite of giving N number of Chances the Repair is still not done. And its just a matter of a small screw to be replaced.


                                If by any chance any RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITIES IN WHIRLPOOL, would get back to be as a last hope .If it doesn’t happen I would spread negative Remarks to my relatives and friends.

                                we bought a whirlpool washing machine top loading full automatic 8 months ago. the machine is giving trouble from day 1.the dirt remains in the cloth. new dirt gets added. clusters of washing powder are seen in the cloth. we called whirlpool mechanic through local service center .he said this is because of hard water. he himsel[censored]sed a powder of the same company (Rs.135.) within a weeks time the problem of dust remaining in cloth remains. new dirt also gets in to the cloth.
                                instead of concentrating on stars to promote the product, they can try to improve the working condition of the machine too.
                                I rate this as the worst washing machine of this century.
                                I had been using a whirlpool washign machine. I had a complaint mentioning that it was not working properly. The person who cam for service was more interested to sell the trolley which is suited for the machine as well as a powder which is used to clean the machine. They were not able to sort out the issue even after i had complained it for 3 times. Moreover i contacted their customer service in the number[protected]/[protected]. I am not mentioning the name of the useless people who are posted as Area Service Manager. Even after repeatedly calling them no one has still responded even after a week.                                 Whirlpool Neo Sensation — No response inspite of repeated complaints

                                I had purchased a Whirlpool Sensation Neo on 08.11.07. The machine was working efficiently. Last month on 29.09.08, i had registered a complaint( Complaint number- KLO[protected] that water was leaking from the machine. On 30.09.08 a mechanic attended to my problem and he informed that the rubber pad on the front loading door of the washing machine had been damaged and that was the reason owing to the leak of water. For the past one month i have been setting a reminder to the service centres and they have been giving promising assurances but i have received no encouraging response from them yet. i m in a dilemma, not knowing whom to approach for help.

                                Whirlpool F 30 Elite — Repair Service refused by service Engineer

                                Dear Forum,

                                We have bought F 30 Elite Whirlpool Refrigerator 285 Liters on 15th May 2005 from Kapila Electronics, Janak Puri. The refrigerator has been working fine since then with no complaints till date.

                                Recently on November 3 evening, the refrigerator stopped cooling both in the freezer and rest of the storage area.

                                November 4 morning, I had lodged a complaint with Whirlpool Customer Care @[protected] and was provided with a ref # GB[protected] for the service to be provided between 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. I received a call from the Service Engineer, Mr Vijay Singh at 2:35 pm informed me that he will not come after 6:00 pm as it is not their working hours.

                                I again informed the customer care but I was assured that the engineer will positively come for the repairs but till 7:30 pm, there was no sign of the service engineer. On calling back the customer care again, i was informed that it is too late now and the complaint will be handled next day as engineers are not available at the given time.

                                My complaint to Whirlpool is that How can they fix an appointment and the service engineer can refuse a consumer for not providing a service assured by the company. It seems the service centers have no check on the engineers and they are given the liberty to take any consumer to the task despite understanding the problems of the consumer.

                                I am very much disturbed by the attitude of the service engineer and poor reponse level of the customer care. None of the customer care managers were willing to come on the phone to speak to an irate consumer.

                                I was promised that Mr Gurpreet, manager will call me back but no call back was recd from the customer care center.

                                Please take necessary action on the service englineer as well as the monetary and financial loss beared by me of the loss of the food material stored in the refrigertor and with no cold water to drink in the heated day.

                                I had purchased a Whirlpool refrigator, Fusion 230 ltrs. This was delivered on 2nd October'08. The service engineer came to install the same and detected 3 defects.
                                1) The magnetic pad of the dor was not working properly.
                                2) The door had a crack fron inside
                                3) The body of the refrigator had dents.
                                Immediately a complaint was logged with their dealer Techno City Great Eastern, and we were told that the same would be replaced in 7 to 10 days time. As usual it was not done and since then I started following up with their service engineer Mr Amit Das, Mob No. [protected], till date every time I called up he had only 1 reply that is there is no stock and the stock will take 7 days to arrive, but as on date nothing has happened. This person even does not give any email id to lodge a complaint. If the service head Mr Kalyan Bose as informed to me by Amit is not deaf or mentally disbalanced then please note that I shall be forced to move to the consumer forum and lodge a seperate case against Amit with charges u/s 420, since I have all the conversations recorded in my cell.

                                Whirlpool Refrigerator Genius Premier — Whirlpool Fridge After Sales Service-Trail & Error Basis

                                I bought 180 ltr genious premere fridge on 19/10/2006.Compressor is in warranty upto 2010.From 14/10/08 onwards the fridge is giving following problems
                                (1) Insufficient cooling
                                (2) No ICE
                                (3) Over all poor performance.

                                The service engineer visited on 19/10/08 and dignosed that gas has to be refilled.He refilled the gas and charged Rs.1450/-for the same.But the problem persisted.After 2 days again I called the customer service and informed the problem.In the next visit engineer replied that gas was not filled suficiently, and he again refilled the gas.There was no change in status.I called again to the customer service center and informed the proble.Third time engineer came and told us that compress was to be replaced.He replaced the same on 1/11/2008. The fridge was still in the same status.We again called the centre and new engineer came and replaced the thermostat.The engineer was asking 600/- Rs.For the same but we did not give the same as we wanted complete solution and satisfaction.Even after changung the thermostat fridge was in the same status on the contrary it stopped making ice completely. On 16/11/2008 first enginner came and changed freezer.Hope it will work now.
                                CONCLISION:- Whirlpool after sales service is not at all competent to handle the things. They r doing it on trial and error basis.Whirlpool should take note of the same.

                                Worthless Whirlpool / — Water overflowing outside the machine

                                Complaint(Chennai) : We owned a Whirl Pool Washing machine and had problem in course of time. Precisely problem of the machine: Water uncontrollably filled continuously inside and spilled out side off the machine. So spoke to customer care and they did send a technician. He said it would be minor problem and we have paid him. The problem would occur with in 15 days to 30 days again. Again he would come and convince us saying that you are no longer going to have any problem in future. Likewise we spent more than 50% of money (Rs 6000) for fixing. But no use, later we realized that technician cheated us.

                                We made up our mind to buy new washing machine and we did. The new machine is also having the same problem of water overflowing out of machine and that too within few months of purchase. We are no longer going to use Whirlpool products anymore. Whirl Pool is going to kill its business by losing customer trust.
                                I also felt same way. They gave me complaint no. and said engineer will come after 4 days.
                                Not sinciere in after sales service, it is very shamefl that a multinational company operates on these lines

INA o33100960 on[protected]. but the refrigerator started giving trouble after just six months and i started to approach the whirlpool service centers at jammu and after every check a new fault was arising viz. changing of the compressor three times, filling of the gas twice, thrice... & then the gas cannot even withstand for a weeks time and finally this double door refrigerator had to go for a bye pass surgery & a wire outside its body from top to bottom can be seen. in 2008 a new disease has cropped up "P C B" But it is quite pathetic to write that this disease is very serious and three PCB's has gone out of order & it is lying dead & no response from whirlpool despite a promise from incharge J&K mr. Neeraj for the last 6 months, to replace the set with 20% discount.This company should be banned & no body should use its products.Now i have left with no option to go in the consumer court since i have all the records with me.
                                I am Ayappa a customer of Whirlpool from Bangalore. I own a Fp55 Aqua White magic washing machine for which I went in for a 2 year AMC which cost me Rs.2500/- ( App # HP04048576, Plan code # 1023142). I was assured that by going for an AMC I would be given preferential treatment in terms of service and support, but to my utter disappointment I have released that now released that commitments made were all false and I have been CHEATED by Whirlpool.

                                The reason for my outrage is that my washing machine has not been fixed for more than 5 days from the day I have raised a ticket with Whirlpool now. My washing machine has not been working and I had raised a ticket with Whirlpool (Rq# HBG[protected]) last Tuesday (2nd of December 08) complaining about the same. I was assured that the vendor engineer would attend to the call the very same day but nobody turned up at all, after calling up the call center multiple times the vendor engineer turned up only Thursday ( After 2 long days!!) to attend the call. After investigating it was found that the PCB is faulty and needed to be replaced, but the vendor engineer informed that they do not have the spare part currently with them and they would positively get it replaced by today (8th Dec 08). Today morning when my wife called up the service center as well as the call center to confirm if the repairs would be completed by today, she was informed that the spare part is still not available and they cannot confirm when it will get replaced.


                                I have a one year son at home and my wife is now forced to wash all the clothes by HAND. We are really upset about the mental and physical agony that we are going through. I am really saddened by the kind o[censored]nprofessional support and service being provided Whirlpool.                                 I never knew that i am in the distinguished company of scores of victims of whilrpool india's dismal lack of service until i watched this website. i have called up whirlpool call centre any number of times since i lodged my complaint on december 25, 08. everytime the reply is a polite 'i am sorry. i must apologise for the inconvenience 'our engineer will visit you within 24 hours on a priority basis'. we are both senior citizens and cannot wash clothes manually. the house is fully o[censored]sed clothes. the call centre's responses are robotic without any emotion or concern for the complainant. adding salt to injury is the enquiry 'is there anything else we can do sir', as if they had attended the complaint on hand.
                                my complaint related to non-working of my whirlpool automatic washing machines, for which i also have paid two-year maintenance charges, known as PMP.

                                We purchased Whirlpool automatic washing machine from Vijay Sales on 04/08/2003, bill number BB3080127, product detail is WMWF36-Whirlpool white magic T50W.

                                We are facing problem (bearing plat broken) with the machine and we have contacted Whirlpool’s all India supervisor Mr Iyer on his cellphone # [protected] and as per him my washing machine cannot be repaired as one of its spare part is not available with your company.

                                For your information, we had first called up your service centre “Seven Star Services” provided by Vijay Sales on 12/10/2008 and their representative who visited my place charged me Rs 395/- thru receipt number 8476 and told us that “bearing plat” is broken and the same need to be replaced against the cost and further to this he informed me that the service charge of Rs 395/- will also be adjusted in the final repair bill. We asked him to go ahead with the repair work since we wanted our washing machine to be repaired back. But, since then he did not respond back,

                                After several follow ups, the service center person informed us that particular part is not available and that he has requested the company for this spare
                                Tired, we finally approached Mr Iyer on[protected], we followed with him for several weeks, initially he said he is getting this particular sparepart from your Panduchari Warehouse, then he said he will be arranging a standby washing machine, and finally today he is of the opinion that the said spare part is not available and they can’t do any thing and also that the company has stopped manufacturing this particular product..

                                I really fail to understand how a branded company like yours can stop mfg. a product and say that the spare part is not available. We bought this whirlpool product as we had great faith in company and their support process, and it is also know that whirlpool brand is known to satisfy their customer and support them.

                                We had paid big amount for purchasing T50W washing machine, in just few years company in India is saying that they do not have spare part and cannot do anything, How can a company say that and where a customer is expected to get product support, we have lost almost four months and valued money as well.

                                I had complained whirlpool through several mails regarding the quality of water inlet pipe for washing machine purchased thrice from authorised dealers of whirlpool. These pipes get worn out within one month o[censored]se. The original pipe which was given alongwith the machine got worn out after nearly 8 years.

                                Inspite of several complaints and requests to whirlpool to provide me the same quality of pipe which was given with the machine, whirlpool is silent on the matter. It seems whirlpool doesn't care to provide after sales service to customers.

                                Inspite of repeatedly calling customer care & Whirlpool office for more than 2 weeks they are not ready to resolve our issue.We require a replacement of our fridge, because of the service person inability to check the applicance properly & doing something to it, we the customer are facing problem.

                                Now the model is become obsolete & they are saying we will provide u a damaged one from our warehouse some where at Bhiwandi & not a new running product.My question is whose fault is it ? is it our's who trust the company and buy your product with our hard earned money.

                                Whirlpool 6thsence Sensation washing machine — non functional for 1 yaer and no responce from the company

                                I had purchased a Whirlpool fully automatic machine from M/S K.K.Sales pvt. Ltd. Civil Lines, Allahabad, which continuously though erratically worked till October 2007. In month of October 07 the machine failed to perform with 'F1' appearing on the digital display panel.

                                As I had been transferred from Allahabad to Etawah, I contacted the local authorized work shop of Whirlpool, Super Cool Engg. Works, Old Bus Stand, Etawah for the repair. But after five os six visits their engineers/mechanics were unable to fix the machine. Even an engineer from Kanpur made a visit but could not resolve the problem and the machine still inutile with the same problem of 'F1' persisting.

                                The engineers/mechanics suggested faults in different parts of the machine like motor, drain-motor, etc. but even change of these parts could do no better to the machine.

                                We wrote the company and contacted the original vendee K.K.Sales, Allahabad and starting from there our chain of efforts via Lucknow Zonal Office to their toll free phone ended again to Super Cool Engg.Works Etawah who did not bother to pay a single visit despite taking an advance service charge.

                                It would not be out of place to mention that until this problem, Whirpool was our trusted brand and we bought almost all appliances like fridge, A.C, washing machine etc. of whirlpool brand for our home.

                                you are, therefore requested to kindly take the necessary action and also appraise us the course of action we can take.

                                Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer — Poor Service from supplier Bernies

                                I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer from Bernie's in Waterford Ct. on 01/29/2009. I was interested in this washer/dryer because I saw it advertised in the Bernie's sale flyer. This same washer/dryer combo was also advertised at Best Buys, I choose Bernies because I purchased my old whirlpool washer/dryer from Bernies in Bloomfield Ct. Sales associate Daniel Deojay assisted me at the Waterford store. He was very knowlegable in regards to this washer/dryer, really sold the washer/dryer on the unique features. I left the store to think about it. I returned to the store on 01/29/2009 and purchased the washer/dryer. Sales associate Deojay was off on the day, I was helped by another sales associate. I did inquire if they worked on commission and was told yes, so I mentioned Deojay helped me initially and I wanted him to receive the credit. The items were out of stock and I had to wait one week for delivery, The washer/dryer was delivered Sunday February 08 2008 at around 5:40 pm. I used the washer and found water streaming from underneath, I investigated and found there was a gashed in the hose. Water leaked all over the floor damaging the tile. I immediately called the store spoke to a manager and explained what the problem was. She scheduled a service appointment for Wednesday February 11th with a four hour window from 8:am to 12 noon. The service tech Dave showed up 3:50 pm that is more like a 8hr window. With that said he came in stated so you have a machine thats leaking. I said the hose have a hole in it. He place his gadet on the floor knelt on the floor over this gadet which appeared to be some type of computer, he tapped a few keys and stated, I don;t have that hose on my truck. I will have to order it and you will receive it in 7 to 10 days. I was in disbeif, It was as if Dave had no clue why he was coming, even though I explained in my phone call to the store that it was the hose and it had a gash in it. I wondered what Dave was paid for this 5 minute service call. I explained to Dave he can do what he felt he needed to do, but I was not waiting for 10 days for a simple hose. I needed washer and dryer on 01/29/2009 when I purchased it. I was willing to wait the week because they were out of stock, I called the store after Dave departed around 5:00 pm and spoke to Matt he said "I will speak to the manager and give you a call back. I called the store three hours later because Matt did not call back. Matt answered the phone again I reminded him I called three hours ago and he said he would call me back and did not. He said well it's been really busy. When I told Mr Matt I would like to return the merchandise to the store and how do I go about doing that will someone pick it up or I can drop it off suddenly, they were not so busy to talk to me. Needless to say I have $2195 worth of merchandise that I cannot use because of a hose with a hole in it that Bernie's is not in a hurry to fix. In the meantime who pays for my time that I spend calling the store, who pays for the hours spent waiting for a delivery man to show up. Who pays for the 8 hours spent waiting for a tech to show up for 5 minutes to tell oh by the way I don't have the part. Only in America
                                Yes very recently we have also purchased a microwave oven from PANTALOON, Bhubaneswar on january 7, 2009. IFor last 10 days it is not working. So we contacted customer care either to replce the same or to repair the same. We telephoned to many many times to the service centre and also PANTALOON. But the person concerned doe not seem to be serious and has not yet given back the items. A brand new item of reputed comapny does not even work for 15 days.

                                I had ordered 16CD + Reebok Shoe and other FREE Gifts along with order against which the above ITBC No. was generated by India Today Book Club. This is to note that only the shoe I have received. I had lodged complaints over phone several times at[protected] and every time they are giving fake assurance that within 7-14 working days I will be able to receive the items. I have also sent e-mails complaining the non-receipt of the ordered items. The order was place long time back.

                                Till date I have not received the items nor received my money back.
                                I purchased a split A/C through DAS electricals on Ahmed Nagar Road In Pune.It has never worked satisfactorily with some or the other defect coming up time and again.Since last two months it is non functional.Complaint was lodged and was told that there is a manufacturing defect with external unit(Complaint Number 0979).I was asked to shell out money for its replacement even though it was in warranty period which I still did for urgency of repair but nothing has happened till date.I am being told since last three weeks that the VP has to confirm replacement however he seems to have no time for customers and we are suffering.It does amount to ballatant cheating and denial of facility inspite of all the warranties and promises.
                                What does one do now.Go to consumer court ? or legal action Please suggest as I have got fed up of pursuing the complaint with no result.
                                A very unproffesional approach in these times of slow down.

                                My refrigerators main door bottom hinges are not working properly.

                                I have registered complaint on 6th Mar’09 to Whirlpool Customer Care (complaint no. 2761 ) the lady on the phone was Sonal Sathe, she gave me customer ID as 5555550 and said that the engineer would come to my place.

                                On 7th March’09 a person came, he went without proper checking of the refrigerator & said that he has a meeting to attend and promised to come again.

                                We have been following it up practically every day with the customer care
                                But there is no response from the customer care
                                And no engineer has turned up till today i.e. 28th Mar’09.

                                The problem became worst as Yesterday evening the entire heavy door along with its contents collapsed down.

                                Again today we called up Customer care but the lady (Sonal) is giving the same old reply that engineer would come to my place.

                                It has been painful & horrible experience for us & Whirlpool has demonstrated Worst, Shameless, approach towards its customer.

                                I had placed the order somtime in Jan 2009. I had Rs 3100/-. After chasing and making number of calls, I was told that kit has been despatched on 03 Mar 2009. The story is being repeated by every one on customer care who by the way don't know anything of customer care . I have made 13 calls to customer care in last almost 2 months. No one has ever bothered to reply or take any action despite numerous promises made by people like Justine Fernandes, Jiten Thakur, Azim Khan and so many others. I have spent lot of money and even more precious time in conversing with so many people without any result. After almost 3 months I am still being told to wait for some more time. I have made certain queries, no one has bothered to answer these

                                1. If item has not reached me whose responsibility is to check?
                                2. Have you checked even once with your despatch department even once as to whether package has reached or not?
                                3. If you have to wait, you wait for how long before either package is delievered or comes back to you?
                                4. How is that an item on cash on deleivry reaches absolutely in time and safely but an item for which payment has been made has not been recieved as yet even after 3 months?
                                5. How is that I get atleast 5-6 calls in a day to tell me about new offers but despite my correspondence for last 6-7 weeks none of you neither you or customer care has bothered to check up anything beyond saying the same stupid crap?
                                7. What is the number of phonecalls made and emails sent by me?
                                8. If none of you stupid guys are unable to tell me anything beyond you recorded replies, who is the one I can approach?

                                My interaction with the company has been extremely disgusting. Attitude of company is that they care two hoots about the customer. It is amazing to know that after making 12 calls no one has bothered to take any action. I have been sending mails but reponse once in while only repeats the same story that we have already despatched the item wait for some time, without specifying anything. My pointed questions are not being answered. What can we do? Can this company not be sorted out.

                                I am Madhrigeratoava rao customer at Hyderabad. I have purchased Whirlpool refrigerator model Icemagic FF350 on[protected] at J.D.Electronics, Hyderabad. at a cost of Rs.22, 500. From october 07 onwards it started giving troubleby blinking of the lights on the fron door and a continuous beep sound was coming from the fridge. We opened the door and shut after which it stopped blinking. But the blinking was continuous and subsequently i approached the service centre. After several requests a complaint was registered with HD [protected]. a TECHNICIAN WAS SENT TO ME WHO ADVISED ME TO TAKE A STABILIZER AND ALSO A ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTWHICH COSTED ME Rs.1175 and Rs, 3990 respectively.. But there was no improvement in controlling the beep sound and blinking of the lights. No personnel visited my house for my continuous complaints. My Annual Maintenance contract expires by[protected]. Since 2007 and till now i have been complaining and there was no or poor response for my complaint. I propose to approach a consumer redressal forum at the in this regard. I hope with this mail consumer cenre of Whirlpool at Hyderabad will wake up and redress my complaint

                                Air Conditioner — Unjustified Service Charge for repairing of Air Conditioner

                                I booked the services of Sree Aircon Services ( Repairs and Maintenance service provider for Carrier Air Conditioners)) 2/2C Ballygaung Place East, Kolkata 700039 phone no [protected] for repairing of my air conditioner. At the time of booking of services, I was told the following:
                                1) Service Engineer will visit the machine first to examine the condition of the machine.
                                2) For this visit I will have to pay Rs 350.00 which will be adjusted with the bill for services, if they provide the service for repairing job.
                                3) After inspection, they will rrovide me an estimate.
                                4) If I agree to pay as per estimate, they will undertake the repairing job for which I will have to pay as per estimate after deducting Rs 350.00 paid earlier on first visit.

                                Accordingly Service Engineer visited my residence on 29.04.2009 and we paid Rs 350.00 at the time of that visit.
                                I did not get any estimate from the service provider. instead when we contacted them over phone asking for the estimate and repair of the machine at an early date, I was told that the expenses / charges will be around Rs 3000.00. I gave consent for carrying out the repairing work.
                                Repairing work was carried out by the service provider on 05.05.2009. After the job was done, a bill for Rs 3419.00 was produced to my wife asking for the money . My wife asked for adjustment of Rs 350.00 paid ealier as agreed but did not get any justified reason for non-adjustment of the amount. Instead they insisted for early payment on the plea that their time is bwasted by raising the issue of adjusting the sum of Rs 350.00. My wife paid the full amount of the bill for Rs 3419.00 and asked for receipt for the same. But the service engineer did not provide any money receipt and stated that they do not have any practice to issue money receipt.
                                My specific complaints against the service provider is the following:
                                1) Money receipt has not been issued against receipt of payment.
                                2) Rs 350.00 was not adjusted from the final bill.
                                3) Service Tax amounting to Rs 319.00 @ 10.3% on Rs 3100.00has been recovered unjustifiably as the elements of bill include supply of material which does not attract Service Tax
                                The relief sought by me are as below:
                                1) Money receipt is to be issued;
                                2) Rs 350.00 not adjusted from the final bill is to be paid.
                                3) Excess Service Tax amount recovered is to be refunded
                                I have experince about the refrigirator I purchased. It is defective. I therefore believe that the above complaints are all genuine and the company should take appropriate action immediately instead of exhibiting these complaints and keeping quiet!

Since it was working well after the guarantee period, the company compelled me put the machine under Home Care Plan(Rs. 1820/- for two years). After a long hesitation I’m agreed. I think the company will care for the spare parts that are to be replaced during the HCP period[protected] to[protected]. But the company technician doesn’t change any spare parts with free of cost. They charged for every replacements and only the visiting charges (Rs. 280/-) was not billed. During the HCP period the formal visit of the company staff is 4 visit. In my memory they weren’t attend the machine that much visit. Even they were not cleaning properly and only in the aim of selling company made products such as cleaning powder and hose tube etc. there are many calls to me from the call centre to exchange old machine buy a new Whirlpool products. I have such a bitter experience with whirlpool.

At present the refrigarator has stopped cooling as the timer, bimetalic swicth and the heater are not working. So i paid another Rs.1350/- for the replacement of the same. Within the three-four years, all the main components of the refrigator have been changed on chargable basis.
                                I would like to know whether your Quality of the refrigerator is good enough to satisfy a customer? Is your QA section are functional?

On 25/03/08 before we done 2 years AMC Contract with Service Request Whirlpool of India Limited, now we found a problem in our washing machine and we are calling to the customer care for last 7 - 8 days but they didn't reply.                                   Complaint(Chennai) : We owned a Whirl Pool Washing machine and had problem in course of time. Precisely problem of the machine: Water uncontrollably filled continuously inside and spilled out side off the machine. So spoke to customer care and they did send a technician. He said it would be minor problem and we have paid him.

                                  The problem would occur with in 15 days to 30 days again. Again he would come and convince us saying that you are no longer going to have any problem in future. Likewise we spent more than 50% of money (Rs 6000) for fixing. But no use, later we realized that technician cheated us.

                                  We made up our mind to buy new washing machine and we did. The new machine is also having the same problem of water overflowing out of machine and that too within few months of purchase. We are no longer going to use Whirlpool products anymore. Whirl Pool is going to kill its business by losing customer trust.
                                  I have taken whirl pool Refregirator on[protected] model no is 11255 and serial no INC[protected] at Produttar Andrapradesh, on[protected] Refregirator cool effect gone all stuf kept inside was spoiled.complaint given to the shop owner and local service person of company, after two days service machanic came and taken the Refregirator, still[protected] he has not returned the Refregirator, He is telling that copressor dameged, company is not having stok, when company sends i will give the Refregirator, Shop owner is not at all responding properly, he is telling give complaint to CONSUMER COURT, I am fed up with calling coustomer care, service Engineer, and shop owner. Still now i have not got the Refregirator or its replacement. Please do some thing other wise Whirl pool name trust will spoil.

                                    I have purchased brand new double door refrigerator of whirlpool 280 L from Sales india ahmedabad in sept 2006, after 1.2 yrs suddenly freezing stopped, they have charged 1200 Rs for sevicing. ( they have replaced relay switch & gas) Now after 5 months of service again freezing stopped.

                                    I am experiencing great service & product failure by WHIRLPOOL.

                                    I suggest all the collegues & all the peoples NOT TO BUY ANY WHIRL POOL PRODUCT.

                                    I purchased Whirlpool Icemagic 280 litre double door fridge in July 2005. In September 2008 its compressor was said to have been burnt and was replaced free but with other charges summing up to about Rs 1000.00
                                    After about 6 days of repeated calls it was done and sent back to me It never did satisfactory cooling and repeated calls were not answered.Ultimately a technician came on 24/04/2009, gave me a bill of 1344.00, took a cheque of the same amount and there is no news from them till now. Today is 28/04/09 time 17:45 hrs

                                      I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (MasterMind 260 Litre elite model) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 9 March 2008 .
                                      From the day one of delivery, I am getting ELECTRIC SHOCK from the body of lower door of this refrigerator and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support with Complaint No: 4825.
