I am very disappointed by the very poor performance of the Refrigetor bought in Oct 2008.

While opening early morning at 5.30Am today 02.01.2009, I was shcoked to see an elctrical spark while opening the top door of the Mastemind and all the senses failed and dead. What a poor workmanship from a so called big name as claimed by youselvs. I began the new year day2 with a very sad and disappointment for having chossen a wrong brand.

Given a chance I would like to surrendor back to you and go for better product in the market.

Whirlpool Master mind — Unsatisfactory Performance

I had Purchased Whirlpool Mastermind 220 ltrs Refrigerator on 30/09/2009. Apart from its unsatisfactory performance the fridge started giving big sound from the deep freezer after 6 months. on contacting the service Engineer from e-works Margao- Goa. It was found that the Evaporator cooling fan blade had given way and I had to wait for 2 months to get a spare fan but that too of bigger size which was cut short and fitted by the Technician. I was made to pay Rs. 150 for the same.since then the Refrigerator still gave noise and with reduced cooling. on 15th October 2010 the refrigerator again started giving big noise and the cooling stopped. After again calling
e-works margao the service Engineer checked and told that its 2 parts are gone and will cost me Rs.1600. Since the refrigerator was purchased just a year ago and the warrenty had just crossed by 18 days I would like to request you to waive this parts cost considering also the fact that the fan was not a proper one replaced by them earlier in May.

Kindly notify me your response through e-works Margao and give me the requisite justice or else I will never by any whirlpool product in future.

    I had purchased a refrigerator (Whirlpool India Ltd.) of a capacity of 340 L in 2005. Subsequently due to body damage the same was replaced in 2006. The replaced model was not cooling properly. As it was under waranty then, the service engineer inspected it and adjusted the moisture controls without signing the service form. This was done at least twice during the waranty period but the problem persisted. I have again made complaints in October, 08 and Dec, 08. But to no avail!

    I am a harassed customer who does not know till date the reason and exact nature of the fault.

    Please revert ASAP with course of acytion to be taken.

    i have a whirlpool refrigerator ELITE model which is a double door refrigerator i have given a complaint on 2/06/2009 bearing complaint number 289, but till today no technician has turned up to my home to repair the refrigerator. Please make sure that my refrigerator will be repaired as early as possible.

      Sir,
      I want to submit my complaint against Whirlpool India Ltd. I am a employee of Hindustan Unilever ltd and i was given a gift voucher worth Rs 11000 from my company. I submitted the recieved coupon along with a DD of Rs 6560/- on 27th October 2008.But till date i had not received neither any refrigerator nor any communication from the company. Whenever i enquired about the same to Mr Dhiman sen gupta (Mb [protected]), employee of whirlpool, tellephonically he always tried to avoid me and even in last conversation with him on 31.12.2008 he threatened me that he would not let the refrigerator to me.
      Kindly help me out to get the delivery of my refrigerator.

          Dear Sir,
          I purchased a washing machine in August 2007. There was a manufacturing defect, so I have sent it for the replacement. Suppose the model of my machine is ceased to be produced, may I know what should the company do? Suppose the company decides to give the another model, should I pay more for that? How much? Does the company give the another one piece at MRP? Can the company charge more? Or I have to simply give the difference of the previous bil amount and the MRP of the new model. Can company take fret charge or depreciation though the machine in in the warranty period? I am really confused. I want to know the rules for the replacement.             Myself doing job in NTPC korba, chhattisgarh. i want washing machine of your professional Series model no PUD 651 OF 6.5 KG.i have given order in 20th ocober in PUSHPAK ELECTRONICS, KORBA, CHHATTISGARH of your wholesell dealer.but after 2 months they are telling that your company is not be able to supply the model .at this current situation where cutomer is ready to give the price but you are not able to supply the product. i think this is a prestigeous matter of you like a big company.i think you will take up the matter as soon as posible.

              I have purchased whirlpool refregerator DLX steel doube door on 21.6.2005 at Sri Ramakrishna Electronics, Khammam and it was failed on 20.5.2006 and complaint made same day and I am contacting regularly with consumer call centre, but they did not taken steps to repair the refregerator even after lapse of more than one month. I have given lowyer notice on 24.7.2006. soon after cnotice given your company representative attended and seen the refregerator and replaced the compressor by collecting Rs.1300/- fees, I have paid.
              Again my refregerator failed on 4.12.2008 and complaint made at local call centre, some of the person attended on 8.12.2008 and informed me that comressor failed it must be replaced, and charges Rs 1350/- to be by the party, but even after lapse of 15 days it was not replaced again I have complaint filed hyderabad call centre my compliant no. HD [protected], at the time complaint he has informed me that the compressor will be sent on 2 days and it will be chaged, but it was not replaced sofar. No body taking care of it for repair and exchange the frez. due to which I am facing lot of inconvenience to the refregerator and my goods which was kept in the refregerator are failed, it cost is nearly Rs. 3000/-. who will pay the loss, I could not under stand. If the refregerator compressor not changed with in 2 days, I will file the case in the appropriate court for the damages. Soon after purchase the refregerator every year I have to incur the nearly Rs 1350/- it is proper way?

                Dear Sir,
                We have purchased '180 ltr Royale Duet-9254' on dt 09.06.05 from Mr. Umesh, M/S Sri Sarma Electronics, Court Road, Nawada, Bihar-805110. The refrigerator Sl.No. is INCO[protected].
                One months back we have informed to the above mentioned vendor regarding problems related to harass sound during opening the door of the refrigerator.
                The vendor came and serviced such as the door (gate panel) has been detached from the refrigerator. The vendor has some how attached the door back to the refrigerator after keeping the refrigerator in their custody for a long time about one month. Again every time the door is making dangerous sound during opening and always it seems that it will come out even though we are opening it very carefully. The vendor is insisting that they can't do more than this.
                Request pl provide proper support so that problem can be sorted out immediately.

                  I am totally disgusted with the service quality of your company. I own a 5 year old refrigerator (Whirlpool FF350 Elite), which for the last 3 months has always raised an alarm (alarm goes on) at various times of the night. Two visits have already happened and two cases closed, but the problem remains. I want a thorough investigation of the fridge, but this has simply not happened so far. Please fix the problem ASAP. I also have plans to buy microwave, and fully automatic washing machine in next 3-4 months, but with the existing service quality, have doubt if I should at all buy Whirlpool again?? What is your brand image?

                  This is what I got as response :

                  The reason for the problem:

                  "

                  If even their customer feedback email system does not work, what can you expect from the company????

                    The engineer of M /S Gemini Home Appliances & Services (authorised Whirlpool Services Partner) attended the complaint and advised to for TSP, replacement of inlet pipe, replacement of drain pipe, cleaning, VF, replacement of Torque motor on dt 29/12/08 and taken Rs.2500/-(cash receipt no 1013) and machine to workshop on dt 30/12/08.
                    Again final payment of balance Rs.2650/(cash receipt no 98/4855)Total amount paid Rs.5150/-.But machine is still defective and giving too much noise like airplane takes off .The Whirlpool India do not want to rectify the fault in spite full & final
                    payment of Rs.5150/-already made by me.

                    Dear Sir

                    This is regarding AMC of whirlpool washing machine model 7372 with Agarwal Refrigeration & Eletronics, whirlpool authorized service centre, Jaipur. SI No is INB[protected] on 18/10/2008 in name of Sh. Virender Verma.

                    The AMC of the machine is covered till 18/10/2010 and was done by Mr. M.K.Goyal, from agarwal refrigeration.

                    Sir since past seven months there is problem in machine regarding rotator and has not been replaced by the firm even after a series of complaints to both customer care and service centre. Neither we are getting any proper response from the firm.

                    And the most unbearable part is the attitude of Mr. M.K.Goyal, and to maintain the goodwill of the ‘Whirlpool’ such persons should not be allowed to visit any customer.

                    He has given a fake report to the firm that the W.M is OK and the best thing is that he has even not visited the house of customer against complaint no JP[protected].
                    The reality came forward when we have launched another complaint vide complaint no JB[protected] after three days of previous complain.

                    Mr. Goyal has also charged Rs. 250 extra as processing fees – ‘Suvidha Shulk’ for AMC of our washing machine in addition to Rs. 2100/- AMC cost for 2 years.

                    Today i.e on 21/10/2009 he visited our house against complaint no. JB[protected] and conveyed us that machine is OK and part has already been replaced, but as far as best of my knowledge the part has not been changed till date neither he has any receipt of any part changed / replaced by the firm in our washing machine. Actually the machine is not in working condition and is not taking any load.

                    This thing i have told you just to convey your goodself about the attitude and responsibility of Mr. Goyal.

                    we have a faith in the Brand whirlpool and not only we have two W/M ‘s but also Food Processor, but if we have to face such situations regarding service and maintenance of our product from the Firm then definitely whirlpool will loose customers.

                    Sir I am working as Project Coordinator in Chief Minister’s Office in Jaipur and it is my humble request to you that in order to maintain the faith and goodwill of customers in the whirlpool company terms and conditions with Agarwal Refrigeration and Electronics should be rechecked and necessary action should be taken against Mr. M.k. Goyal so that it will be a lesson to other employees.

                    Keeping faith in company i request you to get the part replaced within three days otherwise I have to take legal action against the firm.
                    I bought a automatic (Top Loading) washing machine of whirlpool in the year 1993, when it was TVS Whirlpool and I used it upto 2006 without any problem and on 2007 again bought a automatic washing machine of Whirlpool till date no problem I admit the earlier machine was far more superior than the latest one and one thing more the machine makes too much noise. I have a whirlpool refrigerator 310l bought 2000, till date no problem.

                      Dear Sir,

                      Subject: Drier drum bottom rod in Semi-automatic washing machine No:
                      Was bent by your service team due to lack of product service knowledge

                      Three months back I found a problem in my washing machine and I have called the service engineer over phone. The water in the washing tub was leaking and one Mr.
                      Shiyaudeen attended the faultl and was rectified immediately. Mr.Shiyaudeen suggested me to have a Annual maintenance contract AMC and I have agreed to take the AMC and it was taken on the same day. He gave proper documents and went away.

                      After a lapse of around 4o days I found the drier was not working and called the same Service Engineer. Mr.Shiyaudeen came the next day and found that the motor of the drier was not working. He suggested to replace the motor with a new one since theAMC
                      is alive.. The nextday one Mr.Sadique(if I remember correct) came with the new motor and tried to take the driler drum out of the machine. Four bolts and nuts were there t o fx the drier in place. He could not unscrew the nut and at the end of the day he had broken the nut in the process of removing the drum from the machine. He applied some oil for the remaining three bolts and nuts and went away. The next day when I contacted him he told that he has to allow “some days” so that the nuts could be unscrewed easily. In this process afew days have gone and he came next week and started the Himalain Task o[censored]ncrewing the fourth nut. He could not succeed in this job and finally the drum was taken out to a nearby workshop and the bolt was cut with an hawksaw blade. I am ashmed to call him as a”TRAINED SERVICE ENGINEER” who took seven days to cut four bolts and nuts. I fail to understand why are you keeping unskilled persons in the name of Service Engineers and spoiling the time of your cutomers. The process of removing four bolts and nuts took more than aweek. And in the prcess of removing the drum from the machine he had bent the rod fixed under the drier drum. I am Sure that the rod was bent due to severe banging inside thedrum while removing the drum.

                      The next day another Service Engineer came and tried to fix the New motor. In the evening he said some spares have to be taken from the office and went way. After several phoe calls to the No.1 Service Engineer Mr.Shiyaudeen whose mobile No.was with me he sent thefourth ‘Service Enginer” (The third man came and disappeared saying something).

                      The 4th Service Engineer came and tried to fix the drier rmotor and he had fixed the motor.To my surpraise the motor did not run(a brand new motor) With great difficulty he had removed the motor and drum and said that one pully block was not aligning with the new motor and the Pully block has to be changed. It is the duty of the skilled Service Engineeer to check whether the motor is in unning condition before fixing it to the machine. It is Common Sence and a special training is not required for this.

                      The next day the Service Enginer (may be the 5th one I do not remember) and repaired the drier and it was working. The next day we have operated the machine and tried to dry the clothes afterwashing. The drier drum was slowly rotating and it was hitting the sides of the machine and the machine was stopped immediately and the process of dring was done manually.

                      After calling the Service Engineer, (if I remem, ber correct) another Service Engineer Mr.Sadique came and run the drier. Again the drier was hiatting the sides of the machine. He again had udjusted something inside and drying was completed. Since we have appointed our Servant maid the machine was not operated for sometime. During the rainy season, (10 days back, we have tried to wash the clothes .. The drier
                      did not rotate. The Service call was given on 13th December, 2008 and the Service Engineer (a new person) came in the evening.He had opended the machine and took the drier out of the machine very easily. (It did not take 10 days, to my surpraise)

                      He had examined the drier and told a story that the rod connecting the drier with the motor was slightly bent and both the drier and rod has to be changed. He also said that these things are not covered in the AMC and around Rs.800/_ would be the cost of the repair. From the above Ramayana, one could easily findout that the rod ws bent by the ‘UNSKILLED ‘ person whom you call as Service Engineer) in the process of removing the drier from the machine which took around ten days after slamming the drier as fast as possible.On 7th Decemer, the same Service Engineer came to my house along with a new drier and rod in my absence to repair the drier. My wife told him that we are not interested in repairing the machine and sent him back immediately.

                      From the above you will understand that the bent of the rod was caused because of slamming the drum from all sides during the process of removing the drum from the machine by your so called Service En gineer for which you could not penalise your valued customer for another Rs.800./- One thing I forgot to tell is that the Service
                      Engineer lastly attend the machine and repaired the drierl had collected ars.400/-for some spares which were not covered under AMC.

                      : 3 :

                      Now, it is crystal clear that the rod was bent by your Service Engineer due to lack of proper Ttraining in servicing the machine. Hence I request you to repair the machine without any additional expences since the fault is lying with your Service Engineer only and not with your customer.

                      Hence I request you to depute a properly trained the Service Engineer to my house and arrange to repair the washing machine without any further delay and expenses.

                      whirlpool.semi auto washing machine — the rotor not working proper

                      my washing machine roter is not working well.personally wisted the service center at thane, mumbai suburb, on 28th aug, the engineer mr sharma visted on 30th aug after inspecting suguested to change geirbox and v beltand which was put on 31st aug.bill paid for the geirbox semi and b velt along with the vist charge because the machine was out of warrenty period.bill no 21638 dated 31st aug 08 of rs 1725/.even then the performance of the machine was as bad as before. complaned the service center, the machanic visted after 4 days again asked to change one more part, which he assured to bring in 2days as the part was not available at service center.till now 4 complain filed no response my reference phone no is [protected].the service center responce is very poor their phone no is[protected]. pls help.mr joshi

                        I have purchased a washing machine from the NEXT, sector 9, Panchkula. Dated[protected]. The of the washing machine was broken for which I have registered a complaint with NEXT and customer care of WHIRLPOOL. The job no. is 4530. But after one and half month my complaint have not been addressed. The company say the door is not available it will be changed when it arrive. I was told at the time of purchase that product is newly launched. I don"t understand if part of newly launched product is not available what service will I get after say 2 years.

                          I am Manohar Valecha is your subscribe since Oct 2006 . i am very bad Exeperience by your poor customer serivces please refer below metioned point & think about your very poor sevices : -

                          I have purchesed a Whirlpool Refrigarators on 16 Oct 2006 with 5 Year Warranty.

                          As seems in upcoming days the cooling was very Fast & on minimum temprature there was build Ice-Cream & very hard ice .

                          Than i have visited to Dealer M/s Deep Electronics (Owner Mr. Amit Mulchandani) on 19 Oct 2008 & they have insured me there is no tecnical Fault so i told him please log our complaint but he told me you dont worry & i[censored] will feel any problem in future we are here for resolution.

                          Than Continue we have visited many times to your dealer for resolution but every time they have satisfied me with remarks there is no tecnical fault.

                          On Nov 2008 some cracking sound genrated in My Machine so i have agian visited to Deep Electronic & they have taken My Request for Resolution on November first week . then your Service Respresentive Mr. Pavan Sahu Phone No 4255541 came on my place & chk my machine & said that a part of Machine "Tharmostate" is not working at all & this will be change & you have to pay Rs. 600 Changing & Labour charges for change this parts.as i have already told you my machine has 5 Year warranty so why i will pay a single rupee ? then he gone back without any repairing as i refuse to pay anything. Next day again i visited your customer care center M/S Classic Care at MP Nagar Bhopal & meeted there with your Officer Mr. Vijay (Cont. No 4255541) & after tell him my whole problem he agreed to povide service & Parts without any chages . Next Day Pavan Sahu came again at my place & he told you have to pay Rs. 450 & only than we will change your machine spare. i have again refuse to pay anything because of Commitment of Your Officer Mr Vijay. Again i have visited to ur service & meet with Mr. Vijay he told we will not charge anything to you but for that you just pay Rs. 300 to me pesonaly so that i can do your work without any charges so i have paid Rs. 300 to Mr. Vijay but he did not issued me any receipt & told me this is my Chai Pani & i will resolve your prblem immediatly & will sent a service enginere at your place by tommorrow in any condition but next day nobody came at my place so i made a call to Mr. Vijay on 29 Nov 2008 & he told me you pay me Rs. 200 more than i can resolve your problem but i refuse to pay anything Else ., On 30 Nov 2008 i made a call on your call center 60008558 & informed him my problem but they did not made any help to me. So type type of Bad experience i have decided to go to Consumer Court against your company as cheat with me by your company dealer & your company.                           These is very wronge comment customer ragisterd the complaint after one year and company provide the warnty only one year and 4 year compressor waranty, after one year spair part and service charge is complasary but customer not agree to pay the charges, iof customer not agree to pay the charges than why say service is very poor . these policy is apply for every company

                                I bought a brand new Whirlpool 180 Premium-code no 1150, Model No.INC[protected] worth Rs 9100/-from The Capital (Unit of Anand & Co. Electronics Pvt Ltd)-248/A, Diamond Harbour Road Kolkata-700060., Ph[protected]/[protected]/65349595. on 08.08.08.
                                While delivering the fridge, there was a DOOR DENT. At the same moment I approached to the retailer about the problem and I wanted to return it back. But as they assured me that within 7-15 days they will replace the appliance, i believed it.The made a service request, the no is 3384, dt 11.08.08.To investigate the problem, on 11.08.08 Mr C Dutta (engineer) came for a visit.But again he couldnot do any thing and only gave us word of assurance that, we will replace the appliance as early as possible.
                                I am continiously knocking the door of The Capital, and the sales person is giving me only word of assurance, that the company i.e Whirlpool is not sending a new fridge for replacing purpose and so they are helpless. I have already made many phone calls at consumer service, and visiting The Capital store every now and then. So I am really fedup with this service, I have never expected that from such a renowned company I will get this kind of service.
                                Hope that you will look after this problem, and replace my fridge.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Wanted to give feedback regarding my front load fully automatic washing machine-Sensation Ex. I bought this machine in chennai, three years back (12 December 2005). The store manager recommended the pedestal, saying that it will help store laundry and also help in reducing the sound and vibration of the machine. Since I have started using the machine there was a heavy and abnormal vibration and the machine literally moves forward every time we 'on' it. so I've not been able to "ON" the machine and go out of the house. Have complained about the same to the company on several occasions, but the service engineers kept dismissing it saying that the vibration is normal. Recently I've moved to my home town Bangalore. The vibration still continued and had given the complaint regarding the same on 11 Nov 2008. Since then three service engineers have come and inspected the machine with no solution. Every time there is a new story told and the unnecessary delay. After several phone calls to the customer service and service center and numerous requests there still is no relief to my problem. I wanted to bring this to the company's notice because in spite of taking an AMC and shelving so much of money thinking that it is good machine my family has to bear with this inconvenience.

                                  It is regrettable that we opted for a Whirlpool Machine. This has costed me a lot of time and pain. I want this problem to be rectified at the earliest and would appreciate a response to this mail, failing which I will initiate process to approach the consumer court.

                                    From past one -half month our machine is out of order.Two of its parts are damaged & the customer service told us toget the machine insured.So we got it insured & from nearly one month we are complaining almost daily.They tell us that they have written to the company & the part is unavailable at the moment, we will get it next week.Every week we get the same answer.Its such a shame that such a reputed company as such a poor service.I think in future we cannot buy any product of this company.If you can help us we will be thankful to you.

                                      I have purchased a Whirpool RO from Dawar’s Open World Palam Vihar, Gurgaon ( Dawar International Electronics Pvt Ltd) vide bill no. 2334 dated Apr 25, 2008 for Rs 14150/- (13500+650) and the same was installed by their service engineer on Apr 27, 2008. The product started giving some noises immediately after three months of purchase and we spent our rest of the months on phone and personal visits complaining to get the problematic parts replaced by the Whirlpool's dealer/ service centre but to no avails.

                                      Finally after threatening to go to consumer court one technician replaced the switch on Oct 27, 2008 after three months of complaints to them. When asked about the inordinate delay, were told that being a new product launch the spares were not instantly available at the service centre. Immediately after replacing the switch, a different sound erupted and the same was once again brought to the dealers/service centre’s notice many a time. The immediate response from the service centre with out even inspecting the product was that such sound is quite normal in Whirlpol’s RO and asked me not to bother about it. Our visits to dealer and telephonic complaints to their service centre not only yielded any results but also refused to part with the complaint numbers. The response from the dealer was that they have already noted the complaint and would coordinate with Whrlpool’s service centre and a service engineer would visit within a day or two. The status always remains same whenever we remind them of our complaints.

                                      We also spoken to the Whirlpool’s service centre only to hear from their Preventive Maintenance people that they would like to render two PM services free of cost after six months of purchase and their technician would come for service the very next day. Since no body turned up we once again placed a telephonic complaint to the dealer and we were told that they would not be extending any support unless we pay for the filter which does not carry any warranty at all.


                                      From the act and conduct of the officials of the company it is evident that they are least bothered towards the grievance of consumers/customers. They always buy time under one pretext or other to service the parts till the warranty is over. We are under tremendous pressure and mental agony as because of this defective/ sub standard RO. It is requested that our RO be repaired/replaced at the earliest as my complaints were four months old.

                                      Whirlpool RO — Fault generated by the company mech

                                      I had bought a Whirpool Purfresh RO from Dwarka on 18 Mar 2010. At the time of third servicing (in the month of march)the service engineer Mintoo Bhatiya inserted the check vaulve one of the component in reverse position there by leading to hocking of RO as a result of which the RO used to work whole day and couldnot filter even six ltrs of water. Afte making repeated complaints there was o responce and RO was working in this condition for almost a month and finally on 09 April the problem was found and membrane was replaced....the same problem has started again.............. and now the company is sking for visit chages and repair charges or the problem created by their engineer.................. i had given three calls on 6 June but my complaint was not registered.....                                       My querries why should i pay for a fault that has been created by their engineer...............shouldnt whirlpool take the responsibility an replace the faulty RO instead of asking me to pay for it?


                                      Shouldnt whirlpool pay for the mental humilation i m going thru for the past some time......... pure because of irresponsive attitude of higher ups?



                                      The customer care centre or whirlpool doesnt have any grevience redressal cell .....even if one wants to speak to some one responsible in whirlpool.there is o ne ..................shouldnt there be a system in place and know to public

                                      The customer care executive had put me on hold for minutes togetner and then severed the all without any response.......arent checks and balances?
