i purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator 310 Ltr. Single Door from M/s.Dass Electricals Bibvewadi in 2001.
From day one the refrigerator was having problems.
1) Compressor not getting cut-off after temperature is reached, it is conteniously running. This can damage the compressor & will reduce it's life.
2) Very Low Coling observed.

Whirlpool representative visited & replaced the thermostat & changed the gas in the refrigeration system on 14th Aug.08 but still problem persists.

    I have purchased a Whirlpool double door refrigerator in Dec 2004. Recently i've been facing some problem with it. There is no cooling effect in the refregerator. I have called up Whirlpool Call centre on 18th Aug quoting the problem, an engineer had visited our place and replaced 2 parts ( motor & Timer ). I've paid somewhere close to 2000 Rs. Immediately the very next day, the problem still persisted. I've raised another complaint on 20th complaint no : HD[protected], the engineer again visited my place, changed one more part this time with a bill of Rs: 225/-. After that again for the third time the refrigerator is not working. I've raised one more complaint vide no : HD[protected]. My Fridge has a warranty of 7 years, and in the 4th years itself it's falling apart with problems that even their service engineer cannot understand. I'm still waiting for the service engineer to visit my place inspite of raising a complaint on 22Aug and calling up their call centre for atleast 5 times. The call centre guys do not provide any solution but just repeat something like a recorded message Kindly resolve my issue.

    Whirlpool — No response for a Complaint

    Hi,

    I made a complaint, no : HD[protected] on 01/10/2008 and till date, I was just contacted by phone and the concerned didnot reach my address. They are bluffing and not responding.
    I request for a relevant action as I am facing problem with my refrigerator and has to be replaced or can go for a higher capacity.

    I have complaint to whirlpool service centre about not properly working of A.C. But they haven't paid any attention to it and from the last five days i am repeating the same problem to them and they only just for the moment assure that their engg. will come next day AND EVERY DAY THE SAME THINGH...so please look into the matter seriously

    i had registered a complain (LKO[protected]) from kanpur at their call center 1 month ago and since then no reply or the service man has come from the company to recieve the complain and resolve it. It was a complain for a routine service and now it is not working and has created a problem. Kindly look into the matter and take strict actions.

    I too faced a same type of problem when i have to deal with the (so called) Customer Service provided by Whirlpool for rectifying a problem that had occurred in my Washing Machine.But i want to raise this issue more seriously can some body advice me on this?.Pls

    WE GOT THE CABINET OF OUR FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE CHANGED FROMTHE AUTHORISED(????) / OUTSOURCED SERVICE CENTRE OF WHIRLPOOL LOCATED AT DWARKA, NEW DELHI. AFTER MANY REMINDERS THE MACHINE WAS FINALLY SENT BACK TO US WITH ITS WATER DISTRIBUTION INLET BROKEN, WATER LEAKING AND THE MACHINE SHAKING AS IF AN EARTHQUAKE HAD HIT THE HOUSE. AFTER REPEATED TELEPHONE CALLS ONE SO CALLED " ENGINEER" CALLED SHRI RAJKUMAR CAME AND CARRIED OUT HIS INVESTIGATION. HE POMPOUSLY DECLARED THAT THE MACHINE WOULD BE REPAIRED THE NEXT DAY AT OUR RESIDENCE AND HE WOULD SUBMIT A REPORT TO HIS COMPANY. AGAIN NOTHING HAPPENED. THE SO CALLED ENGINEER WAS CONTACTED WHO REFUSED TO ACCEPT THAT HE HAD PROMISED TO SEND SOME ONE TO REPAAIR THE MACHINE. ANYWAY A FRESH COMPLAINT WAS LODGED AND NOW EVEN AFTER FOUR DAYS NOBODY HAS COME TO REPAIR THE MACHINE. I THINK THE SERVICE CENTRE AT DWARKA IS NOT ONLY NOT PROFICIENT IN ITS JOB BUT IS GETTING A BAD NAME TO THE WHIRLPOOL. PLEASE NOW TAKE SOME ACTION AND GET THE MACHINE REPAIRED ASAP.

    TOO MUCH HARASSMENT IS BEING FACED BY US FOR INEFFFICIENT WORK BY YOUR POORLY TRAINED SERVICE CENTRES.

      I am really feel sorry for you poor tech team u have got i am really fed up the type of service u people are providing the parts you rep. does not last for more then two hour your people cannot diagnose the problem you dealer is not ready hear the proble in ghaziabad you manager at ghaziabad keep the phone so bust that you keep on tring it u will naver will get connected [protected] now i tried to talk to GM service but all in vain i am really upset how & whom to apporch Pl see my reff. number GB[protected] this reff no is 20 days old now how will you compare your self with your competitior who say they will resolve the complain in 24 hours

        Respected Sir/madam,
        my fridge was purchased on[protected], on[protected] my fridge was not working, informed to Sri Maruthi Engineering authorised service partner, visakhapatnam.The service engg. came and told compressor failed and took Rs280/- as service charge, nearly after one month my compressor was replaced (as my fridge was in warranty period) but service charges were taken of Rs1072/-.Even then also, the fridge was running...

        dear sir/mam, i had purchased a fully auto washing machine (h65model). it is giving so many problems now its delay wash is not working properly, its rinse function is nt working at all. its water intake was less so i lodged a complaint at the customer care over tele, a local very local mechanic was sent who himself said that this washing machine is a pain, he knew nothing and replaced a part of the water intake and went away it worked once but the very next day it again gave problems.it is my sincere request to you to send a good engineer rather than sending local mechanics. it will be of great help . the machine is still under warranty and it has been less than a year since i purchased it.

          I am a very frustrated owner of the fully automatic washing machine which completed its 2 year warranty in Feb 2008.
          Since March 2008 I have had repeated problems with this machine and the engineers come and fix one problem only to create another one.
          I have made countless calls on the last few months..had my machine lifted to the workshop and each time they say they repair one part and spoil another.
          7 March 2008: Door lock changed after series of complaints of DLE error where door was not locking and programme would stop mid way
          11 March 2008:Machine lifted to workshop as service center insist part has been changed and problem was still occurring...they did not want to wait for a programme to finish to see the problem and insisted on lifting machine.
          2 weeks later after frantic following up machine delivered where problem still occurred in every other programme. But machine came back with a noisy drum...a problem which was not there before.
          At this time I was talking with a Senior representative Neetu at call center.
          May2008: problem became worse and DLE occurred in every cycle...after repeated visits over course of 1 month..various engineers came and did nothing...
          June 2008:finally in June a senior engineer was sent when I made an issue and a power board was replaced and I purchased AMC all of which cost me 4000 rs.
          July 2008: the drum noise became unbearable and machine was taken to workshop again...
          Came back after 10 odd days with no drum noise buy again power board problem.
          Engineer visited again after many calls to change some par after which drum noise went and he said he changed some other part again.
          2 days later The machine stopped again and after many calls a visit was made end of July saying power board needed changing again.
          20 August 2008 : after 3 weeks of chasing up a man came to change part...never showed me the part but insisted he changed it and wanted me to sign form...
          I asked him to wait till i checked the machine and he waited 10 min. and wanted to leave...i signed form stating i could not check. The machine stopped within 30 minutes.

          I have just logged above what I have been through with the service at your company.
          People I have spoken to in vain are:
          Mr. Surat
          Mr. Sanjay Gautham.

          I am writing to say that I am extremely unhappy with the harassment your company has put me through and am now convinced your service center is part of a scam where they order parts in our name and sell them else where to people without AMCs. Also each time they come they remove working parts from my machine which is the only reason why I have had trouble with so many parts.

          I WILL NOW BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AS I HAVE NO OTHER WAY OUT AND NOONE HAS SOLVED MY PROBLEM IN 6 MONTHS MY MACHINE HAS NOT WORKED IN SPITE OF AMC.
          I WILL BE SUING FOR COMPENSATION FOR MONEY SPENT AND HARASSMENT CAUSED.

          Whirlpool, Front Loading Washing Machine — Very poor repair service

          HI,

          I had reported a problem with my washing machine on July 29, 2008. It is already August 5, 2008 and Whirlpool has not been able to rectify the problem. They are extremely poor in responding. Do not return your call. I would strongly recommend people to not buy Whirlpool products if you want to live happily. I have another LG product and I had a problem with it. LG service was very prompt, came back and fixed the problem next day itself.

          Summary: Whirpool India products are horrible ... do not touch them ...

          further to this complaint..i am writing to say that inspite of sending a legal notice the company has not given me a satisfactory solution.
          I recieved a visit from the service center last evening. the guy spent an hour...said he changed all necessary parts and machine is now in working order...he did not wait to check the cycle and as always 40mins after he eft the cycle stopped with an FE error this time.
          I am now not interested in you people wasting my time by sending incompetent people...6 months of this is enough...
          you should now replace my machine with a new one considering you have not managed to fix this problem in 6 months...and i have patiently waited without a running machine..and suffered.
          This is the least you can do...or compensate me accordingly ...I am taking this issue all the way and will not wait forever for you to come up with a solution.
          the guys from the company came over and also took my machine to wkshop to check...came back with assurance tha t it now works and will replace if i have another problem..the mchine stopped on its first cycle...i am still waiting for them to do something..its crazy how whirlpool treats its customers an lies...
          I want to repair my TVS washing Machine for which I am searching for your Service center at Guwahati, Assam.Kindly Confirm me with the address, e-mail or contact no.
          Whirpool Sixth Sense Sensation EX washing machine is, in fact, a NONSENSE product. I too have a similar experience with this machine and it still does not work. In the past four years, I have spent around Rs. 10, 000 /- for repairing alone. Getting their authorized service person is the BIGGEST problem I have ever experienced - and the person who comes initially to diagnose the problem does NOTHING other than just enquiring us what the symptoms are, which is even possible through telephone - and he charges Rs. 500/- for his useless visit. Later, the actual service person comes - with a useless and unprofessional approach, does a poor quality service, charges another 2500 to 3000 rupees, and does a request for purchasing AMC, which would cost another 4000, which is again a sheer waste. To conclude, do NOT ever buy a Whirpool product. Better buy a semiautomatic washing machine manufactured in India, say BPL or Godrej. Our BPL washing machine which was purchased in 1997 worked perfectly fine for 8 years without spending a single paise on it.

          Whirlpool Washing Machine — Very Bad Customer Service for the Always-in-Problem Sensation EX Model

          Hello There! We purchased the Whirpool Sensation EX Washing Machine in early 2007. It worked fine till May 2008 and after that, we are constantly facing problems with the machine. We have an AMC for 3 years but the Customer Service is hopeless. It takes months for them to rectify even a small problem.

          Nobody visits to repair despite repeated reminders. With our first complaint, it took them about 4 months just to replace a "Hose Pipe" which was broken and the water was leaking all around and within the machine. This caused most of the parts in the machine to rust and they didn't do anything about it. Then came the problem with the "Water Heater" inside the machine, it was replaced after a month of the complaint. Just about 15 days later, we faced the same problem again. This time it was done in about a week. But soon, due to the rust formed inside the machine, the iron part around the door got stuck and finally the door of the machine was completely broken. Till this date, the door has not been replaced and every time we get the same polite answer that it'll be done in 2-3 days. I have even sent an email to the Whirlpool Head Office but got no reply and I have no idea what to do about this machine now.

          Now, we are sure that our family was well-off without a washing machine all these years. This is our first washing machine and we are very angry and upset about the quality of the product and the service being provided.
          very poor serviceing than all other companies including local companies. I registered complaint about my whirlpool washing machine on july 2008 but i have neither get any service nor a visit yet. I had a home care plan for three years that is expaired on 31st march 2009. Never opt any whirlpool product.
          My Whirlpool washing machine is not working and i need your service center address in Madurai.

            The story is about a Whirlpool refrigerator model 8035 bought three years ago. It is called ' Ice magic' with a 6th sence technology. However, from our experiance it has become a big nui'sence' to use this refrigerator with frequent breakdowns. I lost my 'sence' in complaining to the service personnel who do not have a clue on what is happening. Finally they said it is a 'foam melting' problem and hence the frige has to be replaced. Please note that it comes with a seven year wanrranty. Our complaint is registered in the service center (J 072) Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Repeated phone calls elicited no response. Finally (after two months) they came up with a solution 'sir you may have to pay something extra' according to information from their regional office at Chennai. I asked how much, they said only Rs. 13, 470. Now I completely lost all my 5th, 6th amd the 7th sence. I told them that the actual value at the time of purchase was only Rs 14, 700. Why the hell would anyone go again for a 'senceless' refrigerator paying such a high price. If one puts on a normal 'exchange' offer the deal would be better. Well I am waiting to hear the last part of the story. One thing is very clear I have decided never to buy a 'whirlpool' product again.

            I am looking at the old 'VoLTAS' frige in my lab which is working fine for over 18 years. During the past 18 years Not even once I have had to fill any gas in the frige.

            Dear All,

            I fully agree with that of the above points. I am also a victim of this 6th Sense Ice Magic trick. The complaints are taken over phone and it is sad that the engineers report only late evenings. They never bring any important spares and promise that they would bring it next day. The untrained engineers are sent and they are only trained to claim their TA/DA and certainly not to give a permanant solutions. Best part of the customer care is that they would record all our voice and as on date, my Fridge is yet to be repaired despite of having paid excess money. Double door, Freezer is working, the bottom portion is not working. Timer was changed and it failed and as on date it is yet to be repaired. I think, Whilpool will lose their brand name with this customer support care enginners. Let the shareholders better plan to sell their stocks before the service engineers loot the company. The compensation paid to Marketing and Customer care top executives should be recovered for 6 months and the same should be distributed to us who are victims of buying whirlpool products. This type of actions may bring in brand image as well fear to those who are working in both Marketing and Customer care (after sales service)

              Sub: Wrong delivery of refrigerator
              Ref: Bill No [protected], dated 9th Aug 2008.

              We would like to bring to your notice the agony caused to me by purchasing your Refrigerator.

              A Refrigerator was purchased on 9.8.2008 from Vivek limited, Adyar, Chennai, Bill no: [protected](copy attached), Bill date 09.08.2008, model Whirlpool frost free 450 L Professional DLX, color Titanium and the delivery was made on the next day night(10.8.2008).

              The package was opened on 11.08.2008 by the whirlpool technician and the color of the Refrigerator was not of the one we ordered. Immediately we called both the dealer (vivek) and the company’s customer care to inform the discrepancy. It was assured to deliver the right product within 24 hrs and to take back the wrong product delivered.

              After many phone calls and follow ups, the dealer called us 12.8.2008 evening to inform that the color of product we ordered is not under production and is persuading us go for another color of a different price. But this option was given to me only after the 3rd day of my purchase. Your dealer is totally unaware of the color stock.

              At the time of purchase we have been mis-informed on the availability of the requested Refrigerator color.

              On 11.8.2008 we called your customer care number 66850000 and requested them to take back the Refrigerator from my house ( as our house is not a go down ) .we have recorded our message with your call center and our complaint number is 11810 .Till now(14.8.08), no action has been taken.

              Starting from 10.8.2008 we have been undergoing lot of mental torture, waste of time, phone calls, unable to attend daily chores, unable to attend my baby, lack of concentration in my work, taking off to office etc.

              All this could have been avoided if you would have given the color option at least at the time of delivery; instead we were given false assurances.
              The attitude towards this by your customer care and the dealer is like “IT IS JUST A COLOR”. But from our perspective, it is a big investment on our household of our choice of color.

              After all the blaming between your company and dealer, finally we are left very upset and unsolved. We expect your delivery of the product which we have ordered for . If this prolongs, with all the evidence, we shall take it up legally. The damage is done anyway.
              I prefer to deal with your higher officials who can give me a responsible answer. Expecting your action as soon as possible.

                I made a mistake of buying a whirlpool fridge from Saravana stores for about 22000 rupees. The door is bent and the rubber beading is defective. I need a replacement and compensation for my trouble. Calls to managers in saravana stores or whirlpool customer service do not help. Whirlpool marketing managers, customer service managers keep lying that they are sending a replacement calls from march 08 from when I purchased this product. Today when we called the marketing manager (balamurugan-[protected]), he shouted at us and told us to call customer service. We called him because customer service was useless. Beware buying whirlpool products as saravana stores manager arvind- [protected], told us that they have a lot of such unresponded complaints from whirlpool and they are going to stop selling this brand.                 I think I have made a mistake of buying a whirlpool fridge (Mastermind 23 Classic | 220 Lts) from Whirpool Dealer, Mathura (UP) for about 13000 rupees in July 2008. Refrigerator's outside body is always very very Hot (it is so hot that u can not keep your hand touched there from more than 4-5 sec.). Also it consumes amost 4 units daily (but as per the specification it should be almost 1.6 units per day). I am pretty sure I have got the defective piece.

                I have raised complain to dealer that refrigerator but the response was useless and he said we are now not involved and u can contact service center. After calling number of times, he came and told its genuine behaviour. Again I called up then he said contact the dealer .. now I am very angry but helpless. My two sons only suggested me buying this (because they are using for past few years without any problem). Please do not provide the license to these kind of dealers who do not know the customer value. As soon as they get the money, customer is useless for them.
                I do not know what to do because I am staying in Vrindavan (UP) after my retirement from SBI.

                our whirlpool proton refrigerator is having a problem in cooling .we have complained many times in customer care . they also send the service men but they are not competent to handle the problem. we are from chennai (ambattur) and the service people are from pyramid engineering(koratur-chennai). they are the authorized service dealer in this area. we are sure that they cannot sort this problem . hope u ll do the favoring.

                  respected sir/madam we have purchesed our air conditioner in the month of aprial 2003 from swastik electronics madhu vihar(parparganj) and from a period of time i was faceing problem regarding triping of compresser and on 13 july i complaint it in the whirlpool costomer care and they sent their enginieer to check the pogition of the a/c and the engineer said that the problem is due to low quantity of gas and faulty compresser and he charged his visiting fee which is 394/-RS and on 14 july they lift our machine and promiced a time period of 1 day for delivery but they didnot deliver our a/c in promiced time period and when i called then they said to give them a cheqe of RS -1500 a person form them came to my home to collect check and promiced to deliver a/c withh in 1 hour but after 2 hours wait i called them but they made excuces and i have complaint about the behaviour of these people in the call centre also but they did not pay any interest in our business.Due to these reasons i have stopped the payment of my cheqe and till now my a/c is laying there in the work shop. Due to there carelessness i m faceing my problems in this hot summer and every time i called them the harris us by giveing certain phone numbers of different people to contact but they just made excuses to deliver our a/c in one or two days but nothing happens.

                  Whirlpool AC — poor product supplied and worst service provided

                  dear sir
                  i bought an AC of whirlpool company on 02-06-07 from karan electronics, gandhi nagar golghar gorakhpur . which worked ok for just abt the month . the problem started after i shifted the AC from Gorakhpur to Aligarh, first its compressor failed then the service centre person started fooling us about the lack of replacement of compressor from the company, it took him one year and a thousand complaints to replace the compressor ( which i m not sure he changed or not) then when he again installed the AC in our house it didnt even worked for a second ant relay failed this time .and the position is now is that even after taking so much pain we r still facing the heat as the AC has failed to work. so i request u to plz help me out in this situation.

                  Dear sir,
                  Our Company, Career Dreams purchased 3 A/C from Fair Deals Corporation on 2nd may 2008, since we purchased these A/C we have been suffering a lot. On the name of service they turn up after 15-20 days that too is calling them every day. We registered a complaint on 26th april 2009 about one of our split A/C complaint no. gb[protected]. customer id GB/C/0409/11452 after calling them so many times they turned up on 16th May 2009. Yes it seems strange but it is trueThe engineer told that A/C's PCB is burnt and and should be replaced finally he replaced the PCB but within 2 days the PCB again burnt when we complain them they said it is now not under the warranty period so we are supposed to pay the money for it.
                  since the time i purchased it there are only problems created by these A/C. I curse the man who suggested me to purchase the whirlpool A/C.

                  As our is a coaching centre and students are coming for there afternoon classes they are suffering a lot. It's really tough to teach students under this condition. Whenever we tell them to rectify the problem they make only excuses.

                  Kindly look into this matter the worst part is they say do whatever you can do.

                  i have a complain against WHIRLPOOL faulty service to the refrigerator which i puchase 7 months back.
                  just after purchase fridge is showing lot of manufacturing defects like water leakage, not sufficient cooling etc
                  i have complain about it to the customer care of the WHIRLPOOL but they r not giving proper response to our complain

                    Sir,

                    Kindly let me know the remedial action to be taken to stop condensation in the refrigerator. In humid and rainy season I experience that water accumulates below the veg tray, which I have to wipe out every now and then. The inner walls of the refrigerator have droplets of water. I see water coming from near the chill air outlets in the refrigerator. What is the ideal setting of cooling during this period.

                      I had bought a Whirlpool Sensation EX fully automatic washing machine an year back. Ever since I bought this maching, we have been having problems with the machine. The service call center gives commitment that the service personnel will visit in a day, but no one visits even after 5 days. Recently we had an issue and after repeated complaints a service personnel came after 7 days of complait. He repaired something after which there was some smoke that came out of the machine and got completely burnt!!!. We are covered under AMC, and no one from the company is responding to our calls to repair/replace the same. We are thoroughly disgusted with their support and are planning to go to the consumer court to take action against them.

                      Whirlpool Washing Machine — disgusting after sale service

                      I purchased the whirlpool fully automatic front loading washing machine on 30 Aug 08.

                      The machine is not working properly from the day one .

                      I complained about this to the whirlpool service centre a number of times.neither the machine is rectified nor the service centre is taking any interest to rectify it.


                      NO ACTION SO FAR.

                      highly disappointed by the brand and the QUALITY OF AFTER SALES SERVICE.


                      HUMBLE REQUEST TO ALL NEVER GET FOOLED BY THE BRAND AND THE SERVICE CENTRE RESPONSE

Apart from consumer forum we need to expose the utter disrespect of the Whirlpool management towards their customer. They are taking the customers for GRANTED.

                      Let us all join hands and approach the TV channels and make all the customers aware of the disgusting quality of the Whirlpool Washing M/c's and more so of their pathetic after sales service and attitude towards the customers.

                        I bought a 6.5 KG Front Load Washing which is whirlpool Sensation Elite. Absolutely name does not replicate the functionality of the machine. I have spent Rs. 22000 on Jan 2007, within a month the machine has programming fault and display a door lock error after the pre-wash. Inspite of repeated complaints the technician could not solve the problem. I just managed to everytime reprogram it after pre-wash...wash... rinsing I used to do with hands and then program it for spinning. Then finally I got a replacement in the month of Nov 2007. The new machine had more problems... Door Lock Error, Loud Noise while spinning and my course of action for getting another machine started. This seems to be a never ending story. Later in the month of July 2008 I got a replacement of an upgraded version of the same machine Named PROFESSIONAL 6.5 Kg. Its just the model name change but the problems are still the same. On the day of installation itself the door was not fitting and digital display was throwing door lock error. ... So beware not to buy any product of Whirlpool and after sales service is least expected.

                        Washing Machine — Front display panel to be changed

                        the local representatives were contacted and request was placed with them to change the display panel as it was completely worn out.We now have promises being made for the last 2 months that somebody is coming to change it, we have spent monies making over 30 calls to these so called Customer service representatives and over 5 mails for which the company does'nt deem fit to even reply.
                        In this age they still belive that they can exist without a email ID..nice thought.
                        I think its time to teach them a lesson by taking them to consumer court and remind the core values and Vision and Mission statement which they pose on their website talking about Customer Focus etc..etc.

                        To add to Meenakshi's horrible experience, I had purchased the same machine, Whirlpool Sensation Elite, first the balancer stone broke off. After getting the machine replaced. The replaced unit had problem with display board, when the same was fixed the technician messed up the water dispensing system. Every time when I would call the customer care, first they would take atleast one week doing nothing, then they would dispatch some tom, jerry or harry walking on the road as whirlpool techinician who would come and pretened to fix the machine. Finally, after threating to lodge a complain in customer, two more guys turned disguised as whirlpool SENIOR Technicians. They were able to fix the problem, but were never able to resolve it. The water dispensing system stopped working after few days.

                        PLEASE if you love your wife, moms, sisters and value their peace in life. DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINES.

                        Whirlpool India/Sensation elite washing machine — Very worst customer care. Not to buy Whirlpool products.

                        I complained about my washing machine problem(Complaint No: hd[protected]) three weeks back and the customer care people telling us that some service engineer will call us within 24 hours. But no did not get any response from the service engineer. I called customer care regarding this several times but always I'm getting the same answer. This is redeculous. If these people not able to give post sales service then why should they come into consumer products where all consumer needs service. I prefer not to buy whirlpool product. This is my first and last product. I'll not buy any product from Whirlpool and I suggest not to buy any Whirlpool product. Very very very pathetic situtation when you buy a product worth more than twenty thousands and its not working and there is no response from customer care and the local show room authorised service engineer says he did not know about the system as the company has not given training to him. I strongly suggest not to buy Whirpool products.
                        I have also faced the same problem, but at last they changed the door itself during month of March 2009. It took more than 3 months to replace the door after complaint made attended by the engineer. Now my warranty period expired i have not renewed the AMC. After 6 months of changing the door now the machine shows CE error and service engineer requiring us to change to power & Control Board for which they require Rs.6000/. But the machine is working even after showing CE, if we wait for 10 minutes. I don't know what to do. I dont know whether it is only loose connection or total fault. Now i am in confussion whether to replace the them or to use continously like this.
                        dont buy whirlpool products. after sales service is very worst. also giving lot of problems. they r looting money in the name of AMC after the warranty period is over. it is very difficult to use the machine without AMC since it gives repeated problems. No one outside people ready to attend the fault saying that we cannot do, particularly of front loading machine and also it is very difficult to get spare parts outside. hence go to some other companies products instead of whirlpool

                        I had a very bad experience with Whirlpool Professional Sport. There was DLE error from day one of machine installation. The service person visited 3 times and i said enough is enough. Either replace the machine or take your machine back i don't need it. The whirlpool person got ready to replace the machine. God i don't know the future. But after reading such comments i feel it would have been better if i had not purchased it.
                        It is useless wahing machine Sensation elite 6.5 kgs. I have always have to pay somuch to support engineers..there is no AMC now a days..useless washing machine..pls dont buy Whirlpool washing machine..especially front load..

                        I have been suffering with dLE error for last 3 yrs. Hell.. After wash or rinse I do manually & dry clothes. Interesting thing is that this washing machine doesn't even have just "rinse & spin" combination washing or just "rinse"..Is that an engineer who designed it or a cowdung minded one..facing hell..

                          I am facing problems with 400 Ltr. Double Door Whirlpool Refrigerator. The problem occured on 11.6.2008 and later on 25.6.2008 the gas was filled in the refrigerator. Again on 7.7.2008

                          the fridge gave a sound of gas leakage and after that it stopped cooling. We are lodging our

                          complaint repeatedly from 7.7.2008 but till today(9th July) at 8:00 P.M., nobody has come

                          and attended the fridge inspite of repeated phone calls. We are being told that service

                          engineer Meraj visited on 8.7.2008 and today on 9.7.2008 I have been told that Rajendra

                          visted our place and has reported that Compressor needs to be replaced. However, the truth

                          is that nobody has visited our place as yet. I wonder how this is being reported that

                          compressor needs replacement without even visiting.

                          I would like to mention again that this particular refrigerator has not been a satisfactory

                          purchase for us. Refrigerator was purchased in 23rd Oct'2003 after that Gas was filled on

                          28.5.2006 and 2 weeks later Module had been replaced. Last year defrost Heater has also been

                          replaced. Now again after filling the gas 13 days back, It is being told on the phone that

                          compressor needs to be replaced. It seems there is a serious fault with the refrigerator

                          design, faulty diagnosis and faulty repair by your Engineers. I would also like to mention

                          that your Customer Care Service has also been poor, promises are made but never kept as

                          there seems to be communication gap with Service department.

                          I would like to mention here again that my earlier Godrej refrigerator ran without any

                          problem for 15 years, never required any service and was working fine at the time when we

                          replaced it with the Frost Free model of your product.

                          Sir i purchased my whirlpool refrigerator 310 elile carban code :-11338 s.no-INA[protected] ON 15TH JULY 08 receipt no-MH 037. As on that date I visited your solan centre and enquire about freeze. The sales man Mr. Aman told me the freeze have unbreakable self and we also had gift scheme which i gave you before diwali, but after six month ice bottle self fall down and break .I inform to the centre they told me we definitely replace it. But till date the self didn't replace and gift also not received till date.
                          In Dec 2009 on date 14th the freeze stop cooling .i informed to centre they visit and told me that the gas of freeze finished. And you have to pay approx Rs.1000 to fill gas.
                          i told them how it possible only in one and half year how can gas finished then they told me i will talk to higher authority and then they told me that pay half amount Rs.500 to fill the gas.
                          i purchase one of the best freeze from your centre and the cost of freeze for 310 liter I paid Rs 27500/- and their also a freeze Rs.13000 then
                          i want to asked if we are spending that much of amount what the befit
                          Please give us service so we can always your costumer not other company customer
                          please change my ice self as well as fill gas so i can be a regular customer

                          Whirlpool Refrigerator — Poor Designing for Door Camp

                          This is to inform all of the consumers about the poor quality designing of the refrigarator door. ( Genius 180 L) I bought the one around 3 years back. Now the calp at bottom of the door has broken and came out of the main unit. when talked to the "custome care" the clamp is not avilable and hence
                          entire door has to be replaced which will cost arround 2750/-
                          The service engg told that it happens when opeing widely which is not mentioned anywhere by the manufacturer.
                          The body of the refrigerator is made of steel,but clamps are not. So be careful while purchasing a fridge.

                              Sir,
                              Through this mail I would like to draw your kind concern regarding poorest of poor quality as well as customer care in India.
                              1. That I bought whirlpool refrigerator 10846 310L MAXIGERATOR NEW STEEL 3S
                              from KAPILA ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. B-1/6, COMMUNITY CENTER B-1, BLOCK, JANAK PURI on 26th June 2008 vide their invoice no. 2651 for Rs. 13600/-. In my mothers name Mrs. Thakur.
                              2. That no engineer came for said demonstration on the time requested by us neither did any OK installation report was given.
                              3. That soon after I had to go for my emergency knee surgery and couldn’t really looked after performance of said item.My mother is aged so she couldn’t see that fault as described ahead.
                              4.That when I returned after my surgery on 4th night I noticed that refrigerator is totally faulty in sense of cooling and door could not be closed totally leading to leaking.
                              5.That I contacted my dealer on 5th July telling them complaint and asking why engineer/company personnel didn’t come for demo/installation report.
                              6.That engineer came noted complaint but refused to comment on cooling status of the item.
                              7. That you can understand the utility of refrigerator in such heated environment in India particularly north and such callous reply by engineer was totally frustrating and disturbing keeping in mind the multinational company whirlpool.
                              8.However, soon after they did replace refrigerator which was dropped at my place by a laborer and no authorized personnel did come to check this replaced item or not.
                              9. Again to my surprise this replaced refrigerator has more problems then previous naming again faulty door closing, secondly noisy, thirdly lower half body was too much heated up and water droplets were dropping in all over items placed in fridge.

                              Through this mail, I would like to draw your attention reg. poorest service of whirlpool customer care.

                              1) I have bought 450 litre - F46 Elite Professional Whirlpool refrigerator from Kohli Bros. 13-A, Prehlad Market, D.B.Gupta Road, Karol Bagh, N-Delhi-110005 on 06/02/08.

                              2) Actually we have installed the refrigerator and the demo person came and gave the demo and at that time the season is also cold, so we were not aware of the problem.

                              3 Actually there is freezing problem, the freezer always make the ice in the normal mode also. We are facing the same problem from last 3 months.

                              4) We have also filed a complaint against this problem on 8th October'08 and the engineer came, checked the problem and confirm that this was a manufacturing defect so to came out from this problem, they have to change the freezer door.

                              5) Till now after regular complaints and follow-up, we are facing the same problem, the customer care executives giving us dates and only dates using the same words that we don’t have the freezer door in stock and we’ll replace the door after 7-10 days. Always hearing the same words almost 3 months have gone but the door didn’t changed.

                              Pls look into this matter vigorously as we are totally fed-up and planning not to purchase any other product of whirlpool due to the above said problem.

                              I have purchased one whirpool refrigerator model no;310 dlx professional titanium from shah's mount road chennai on date 11.02.09 and following is my story,

                              1. complaint no; 31549 dt 23.03.09 for less cooling and water logging in the vegetable tray.
                              2. The same was replaced with a new machine towards more than 50 calls and finally pressure from the dealer on 09.04.09.
                              3. Again problem arise from the new machine with ice hugely forming in the upper portion and no coolling at the bottom level, complaint given again no: 35605 dt. 24.04.09.
                              4. Machine attended by local technician and state that on first visit that compressor is with less gas and has to be filled. And one day ie on dt 27.04.09 i get a call from there pune service station From one mr Anil Ph no:[protected] and states that he will send his senior technician and he visit on 29.04.09 and states that the timer is faulty and will be serviced or change.
                              5. As on date the machine has not been attented or a call has not come from there end, As iam been trying there phone numbers pune switch off since 30.04.09 till 02.05.09 3pm.

                              Since i want to know is this the customers are neglected by whirpool. And watching the mails from other customers are shocking to me too.

                              I have purchased 310 ltr. double door refrigerator on dated 27.05.08 from Noida. After some months its cooling was not proper that's why i looged a complaint after calling to customer care on dated 31.05.08 and its fault ok after changed the location of the fridge. Again problem observerd on 28.06.08 and it was corrected by changing the stablizer and also changed the compressor. But again same problem observed on dated 18.08.08 and it was corrected by filling the gas. But due to winter fridge works properly and in summer again same problem occured. I think problem was not rectified properly so i again looged a complaint to customer care and service engineer came on dated 14.05.09 and he told me that its cooling coils are faulty and it will be changed and it will take 2 to 3 days and fridge will be repaired its service center.

                              Please tell me what can i do best for this situation either fridge will repaired but how long its work their is no gaurantee. Second option to replace the fridge. Third option shall i go to consumer court to take compensation of this problem due to which i have suffered a lot.

                              Please suggest and give me best direction.

                              I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator about three years ago, from a dealer in Lucknow. I was quite pleased with its performance initially only to realise I had gone in for a wrong one. In a matter of months, the fridge started giving me trouble, water was leaking, in the lower portion, and then it was rectified only to find myself facing the same problem again and again and again after paying Rs.381/- for each repair over and over and over again. Now, the fridge is not only throwing water near the crisper but also ceased to cool suficiently, as a result food is getting spoiled. I think one should think twice before going in for this fridge.

                              My father bought a whirlpoooool Washing machine and also he has extended the warranty on a guise that the customer service would be good. But I don’t know what the customer service is doing by receiving complaint. 30 days and more had gone since I lodge my complaint but till now I am spending Rs. 50 for my mobile to call them but they respond that they are behind me and ask me to see my back to see the service man, but I see only the walls of my home. The administration of customer care telling that the engineer would come but those persons must have many criminal case of worst. They react like wise. They don’t know how to speak with the customer. They are not keeping their words.

                              The list of problems in my refrigerator are :

                              1. Gap in the Door.
                              2. Moisture formation below the Door.
                              3. Crackling noise, when the door of the Freezer is open.
                              4. Faulty switch inside refrigerator due to which light does not switch off when the door is close.

                              I have purchased Whirlpool 250 Litre refrigerator on 21/04/2009 from “NEXT”Ghodbunder Road showroom. The bill number is 09889.

                              After 1 month from the purchase, one day I noticed that even when the door of refrigerator is close, light is coming out of the refrigerator. This is because there is a huge gap between the refrigerator and the gasket which is stick on the door of refrigerator. Also, when the door of the freezer is open, it is making very ugly noise. Eventually, I lodged a complaint with the showroom. My Complaint No. is MB[protected].

                              Then a technician from “Quick Services” (Whirlpool Service Provider) attained my complaint. But instead of solving the problem, he was more interested in selling Voltage Stabiliser. To be able to switch off the light when the door is close, he protruded the button, which switches off the light. This looks very Shabby inside the refrigerator. In the end, he could not solve the problem and said a senior person would attain the problem.

                              The same story repeated four times later on. People use to come & go, but nobody was able to understand my problem.

                              Then the case was forwarded to Whirlpool Technicians. Mr. Sampat Bhujbal (Quality Department) (Cell No. [protected]) fixed up an appointment with myself and promise to send technician Mr. Ashok Thite (Technician) (Cell No. [protected]) in 2 days time. But Mr. Ashok showed his face after 20 days.

                              On 10/08/2009 Mr. Ashok came at my home and immediately accept the problems and said it had happened due to improper handling during transportation. He also admitted that the remedy for this problems is only replacement of refrigerator.

                              The next day, i.e., on 11/08/2009 Mr. Anirudh Gole (Manager - Quality Department) called me and said they will replace the spares for proper functioning and not replace the entire refrigerator because Whirlpool has given the "Warranty" & not the "Guarantee" for the refrigerator.

                              I cannot accept such a list of problems in a 2 months refrigerator, nor will anybody. Hence, I am rigid on replacement of refrigerator.

                              Hence it is my requests to you is please look into the matter with your personal touch and help me in getting my refrigerator replaced. I would also not mind filing a complaint of cheating against Whirlpool in Consumer Court.

                              I have similar experience with both product and services. It is horrible.
                              Response is too slow. It is almost a week before they finally set the fridge right. Also, the faults are major. Thank god I had gone in for 48 months extended warranty. First time it was the thermostat and some electrical part and now it is the compressor itself. The warranty is upto Dec 2010 i.e. another year. I would have shelled out a cool Rs.5000+ had it not been for the AMC. Will Whirlpool replace my fridge which was purchased by me in Jan 2006? After another year I dont think I can afford any type of costly repairs/parts replacements.

When I started to use the refrigerator on the same day, I found a dent in the door and i called the dealer and informed abt the same. They switch the call to whirlpool cust care chennai and i spoke to one of your engineer. In the call he said that he will replace the refrigirator after sumbitting the inv copy. i've sumbitted the inv copy twice in a week and still i have not heard any response from your cust care. please arrange the replacement asap or refund the money.                               I totally agree with what others who have commented/complained about the Whirlpool. Ten days back I have booked for 260 Litre Whirlpool Refrigerator in the Whirlpool's Office in Ramapuram Chennai and I have paid the refregirator cost by cheque on the day of booking. Till date, refregirator has not been delivered to me and I have made over a dozen calls to the person who took booking. Whenever i make call, he gives some nonsense reply or he says he will call me within 10 minutes and he will never call me back. My money is blocked and I am planning to take up the matter with consumer protection forum. My advice is that please do not go for whirlpool product.

                              when we got this product the person asked us to call the customer care number for installtion and Demo of the product. the number is 60008558 and MTNL number [protected] which always Busy or dead. almost it is Dead because i called n number of times it is keep on saying that all executives are busy they will pick your call shortly. but frankly saying no such executive are there on this number or if the people are there then definately they are sleeping, cause even aftet holding the line for 43 min the same sentence is repeating. even i send a SMS to that specified number 58558 and i received a replay for that SMS saying "Thanks 4 registering with whirlpool home care. we will call u back shortly on 21st Oct".

                              Belive me even today also i am expecting the call from customer care.

                              I have purchased a Microwave oven on 27/12/09 Model-25C-Convection. When the service engineer came for demo it was found that the machine is not at all working and finally he has accepted the machine is not working and will be replaced with new one.
                              But even after 20 days Whirlpool has not bothered to replace it with new one. We are calling them daily but the response was shocking and it is prooved beyond doubt that Whirlppol india is totally not bothered about thier customer service and i would suggest the readers not to go for the company's product

                              If it is in red, defrost mode. Otherwise, normal mode. but now the indicator is blinking with red color. we don't know the exact problem.                               Concern is regarding poorest of poor quality as well as customer care in India against complaint no. Dl[protected].

                              We have been complaining regarding our Whirlpool Premier refrigerator , model "Genius" whose door has been broken for the past 2months & only false promises are being made everytime we call customer care.

                              The complaint was lodged on 16th of Feb' 2010 & we were assured someone would come & check for the problem. We were told that the door needs to be replaced & the same will be done in a weeks time.

                              Even after 2 weeks no one came & after repeated calls made to customer care, a techinician comes with door of a different model. The guy promises to get the correct door & get it fixed. Again he is invisible for 2 weeks. Calls are again made & we are made to understand that the door is not available in the stock so the delay happened. They promise to get it replaced the following week.

                              As always no technician or no calls were made atleast to keep us informed actually when can we get the door fixed. Till date we are awaiting for the resolution of the issue.

                              In the meanwhile our refrigerator is getting affected as the door is not working so the pressure on the compressor is increasing.The food is getting rotten due to improper cooling & maybe tommorrow the refrigerator might just stop working due to the delay & the laziness shown in the solution of the problem.                               My question is who is going to take responsibility if the refrigerator collapses tommorrow as a whole or any disaster takes place in my family due to the laid back attititude of your company.                               We had problem with our 2 door refrigerator in Oct. 09. After suffering for a week, the problem was rectified by replacing the compressor. Again on[protected], we faced a similar problem and lodged a complaint on[protected] vide no.11416.

                              A technician attended the complaint at 5PM on 19th and reported that the capillary tube is blocked and needs replacement along with the refilling of gas and informed us that it will be chargeable. On 20th at 3PM he came and replaced the capillary tube and filled gas and said now it will work OK. But on checking we felt that the side panel was getting heated and informed him. He replied that it will take 2 hours and then it will fully cool. We paid under protest Rs.1850=00 demanded by the technician against a bill no.10328 of M/s. Seetal Electronics, Hyderabad.

                              But, to our shock and dismay we have observed that even by 10 PM the fridge is not getting cool and ice is also not forming.

                              Since, we have doubts about the competency of technician, we request the higher management to look into the matter immediately and depute a trained engineer to rectify our problem immediately. Already food material worth thousands is spoiled and we have suffered enough loss and inconvenience.

                              I purchased a whirlpool double door fridge with 310 L capacity in Nov 2008.
                              I am sorry to tell you that the quality of your product is not at all satisfactory.
                              It has only completed its 17 months and has started causing problems past one month.
                              I lodge a complaint on 25 th May 10 and it is the harassment caused by your customer care
                              that the appliance is still not repaired. Your executive visited on 26 May, said that there
                              is a gas leakage, refilled the gas on 28 and charged INR 1310.
                              But there was no improvement in the fridge condition.
                              I re-lodged the complaint on 28, 29, 31 May but to add to the harassment they are
                              delaying their revisit and give silly excuses.
                              Sorry for the quality and service you people provide.
                              Also, I don't expect that after refilling of gas your appliance will last longer.
                              I will personally suggest everyone to not to go for Whirlpool appliance because
                              of their poor quality and frustrating service.
                              Since, First they will extract a huge amount of money from you for
                              their appliance and thanks to their quality product they will again bother you

                              I bought a new refrigerator Fusion 260L single door from a dealer in chennai, the refrigerator was deleiverd on 16 jun, now on the third day due to some defect the gas got leaked.                               ON 20.07.2010 IN THE LATE AFTERNOON TWO REPRESENTATIVES FROM YOUR COMPANY VISITED MY HOUSE ONE MR. MANOJ CAME FOR THE DEMONSTRATION OF MICROWAVE AND GAVE A DEMONSTRATIN TO OUR SATISFACTION AND WE GAVE HIM THE CODE NO GIVEN TO US TO HIM AND BROUGHT TO HIS NOTICE THAT THE REFRIGERATOR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN HE VISITED OUR HOUSE AFTER COLLECTING THE BILL FROM MY WIFE HE ASKED US TO LODGE A FRESH COMPLAINT AS THE PREVIOUS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO REASON THAT THE COPY OF THE BILL WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT MY HOUSE THE PREVIOUS DAY.                               Sir, We are using whirlpool refrigerator 6 th sense for the past 2 & half years. We have the problem low chillness and water is coming out of the tray and overflowing to the floor. We have raised a compliant on 26.09.2010 compliant number : 54769 for the above mentioned fault. Mr. Kannan Engineer attended the fault and he told that the front panel switch board should be changed. We lodged another compliant on 29.09.2010, number : 584. Mr. S.Chandrasekar Engineer attended the fault and he told that the Compressor should be changed. We lodged another compliant on 09.11.2010, 15.11.2010 number 314, 39321. The Compressor was replaced by Mr. Kirubakaran on 22.11.2010 via Bill No.312 dated 22.11.2010 for Rs.1, 800/-. The above mentioned fault was not solved after replacing the compressor. Not satisfying with the Service we again made a compliant on 24.11.2010 number :62656. Till date the fault was not rectified. I made a phone call today to Mr. Kumar, Incharge stating that the fault was not rectified after so many engineeers have seen the refrigerator. We are very dissatsified with the Services of the Whirl pool being one of the multi national company. We are unable to go out for our personal work and daily routine is affected.
                              We request your goodself to look into the matter seriously and solve my refrigerator fault.

                              Details of refrigerator : Whrilpool Professional 6th Sense purchased on July 2008 =-- 340 litres
                              I purchased a Whirlpool Fridge Model WVR420 and a Whirlpool Freezer Model WVF307 in Sept 2009 from A&A Furnishers in Cape Town, South Africa. A few months later, condensation started accummulating on the back panel of the fridge resulting in water damage to all the foodstuff in the fridge. I complained in Mar 2010 and the technician told me that the condensation is "normal" and part of the fridge's design. I told him that this was unacceptable as I have had KIC products in the past which lasted more than 20 years without any complaints. The only reason I sold my KIC fridge and freezer was because I renovated my kitchen. Here I thought Whirlpool was a good product and a household name but the products are of inferior quality but costs so much more! I find it totally unacceptable that I have be saddled with a product that I paid good money for, but every week I have to discard foodstuff that goes soggy due to the amount of condensation accummulating. The technician tells me the fridge and freezer have computer boards and that is the way it is programmed. Well, this is a lot of bull!!! I want Whirlpool to fetch their crap products and refund my money which I work very hard for. I am not rich and cannot afford the luxury of just going to buy other better products. Right now I feel like taking a chopper and chopping these products to pieces - that's what it is worth to me! The Freezer is suppose to be "no frost" yet icicles form from dripping water from a vent. This occurred in the last few months. Again I am told that I have to "re-set" the computer board by turning the dial to 0 and then turning it on again! Why must I settle for the inconvenience and expense caused by inferior Whirlpool products. I hope their Director or GM reads my email and contacts me to take back their crap.
                              I purchased Whirlpool White Magic 1-2-3 650p from PV Shetty Godown Complex, Bangalore 98 on 29/07/2009 vide Document No.[protected]. Model No.11577 and Serial No.[protected]. The machine has
                              since been shifted to Mumbai along with me. The washing machine has developed some problem recently;it is producing a lot of sound(voice) while washing and spinning. The sound is similar to a locomotive running at a high speed; so deafening and irritating. I had complained to your Service Centre at[protected] and a Service Engineer called on us during January, 2011 and inspected the machine and informed me that the sound was normal in old machine. How can he say it is old machine, it is only
                              1 year and 8 months old and cannot be treated as old machine. Moreover, your warranty period is 2 years and and it is your duty to thoroughly check up and service it to the satisfaction of the customer. Simply, telling some excuses is not a good business practice. If it breaks down immediately after the warranty period which is just four months away, I will have to shell out the service charges etc. by force.This is like penalising the customer even after pointing out the problem to you in advance. I would therefore urge upon you to have the machine thoroughly check up and certify that there is no defect in the machine.

                              Failing to get response within a fortnight will compel me to approach the Consumer Redressal Forrum
                              for remedy. Hope you will attend to this problem on priority.

                              I've Purchased 1 ton Aviator A/C a year before, there was a scheme of Reebok Shoe Free with that A/C, I am still waiting for that shoes

                              I totally agree with this complaint. I am also a TOTALLY DISATISFIED CUSTOMER of whirlpool. I regret the day I owned these products. I paid through my nose for a 2 year AMC but, these blokes did not show their faces for a single service. They had the audacity to remind me for the renewal of AMC.

                              I possess 3 whirlpool products - washing machine with AMC that has given enough trouble during the AMC period that was rectified on a continous basis !!! A refridgerator that was never attended to inspite of giving service dates (later they tell me that they will serve on call - but, promised to do so but, never did !!!). I also have the whirlpool inverter which I don't want to talk about.

                              Yesterday they had a free service camp for whirlpool products in the RBI STAFF QUARTERS on P.H. ROAD, in CHENNAI. I contacted these blokes who took down my address and said they would come over in a few minutes. BELIEVE ME - I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM !!!

                              Experience is the best teacher and I have learnt from my mistakes.
                              I AND MY DECENDENTS WILL NEVER EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT IN MY/OUR LIFE, AND I WOULD EVEN CONTINUE MY CAMPAIGN TO DISCOURAGE PROSPECTIVE whirlpool CUSTOMERS.

                              I bought Whirlpool Fridge Fusion 180Lts in March 2010. On 20/03/2011 the fridge went not working. I made a complaint with its CC. They sent technician after 2 days. The technician inspected and changes few parts charged me Rs3075. I too paid it. Fridge worked for sometime and went not working after 5 hours. The technician came and adjusted something and the fridge worked for only 5 hours. The next morning I contacted the CC, the technician came and found every part is burnt and only the box is okay. After 9 days, on 06/04/2011 Whirlpool replaced it with another said to be a brand new. I believe it is not a brand new, but a crap. The fridge is not working in auto defrost mode. I suffered a lot with the whirlpool guys and still suffering. I do not know when the suffering is going to end. The whirlpool guys are not honest, bluffing, not sincere to their duty and cheating. I am not finding a reasonable person in whirlpool who will solve my problem. It will be helpful if someone who has faced like me and overcome such problems advise me.

                              I am surprised at the careless behavior of Whirlpool company. While selling a product, the promises they make are amazing. However, when it comes to fulfilling them ...KAPUT!!! You are in a sorry state of affairs. I have called innumerable times for a servicing of my 1.5 ton Split Whirlpool AC which has fallen on deaf ears. I wanted to purchase another one because the AC is good but looking at the state of the after sales service provided, I have changed my mind.

                                I had purchased a Whirlpool Ice Magic Elite Steel (consumer ID 19707499/2002) refrigerator on the 3- Mar-06 in Secunderabad. Whirlpool sent a person to demo the fridge and he convinced us to purchase an AMC from them for an amount of Rs. 2290. Since then until today i have not had anyone even call up to come for a service today. Above all in spite of making several complaints to their customer service in Hyderabad, NO ONE has even bothered to call up and schedule an appointment to service the refrigerator. Last Thursday I called them up again to lodge a compliant for service as there is water leaking from the freezer in the refrigerator. The customer care officer took the compliant and even checked up that my refrigerator comes under an AMC. She promised that someone would attend to my refrigerator today (Saturday). But it is 4:30 PM now and no one has even called me up from Whirlpool! I think Whirlpool has the worst customer service and they have just cheated us by taking the amount for an AMC. I urge others not to buy Whirlpool appliances as they cheat customers like me by collecting the AMC amount and never get back! I have no idea what I should do now? Whats the use of calling up such a customer care, speaking to whom is like speaking to a wall that doesn't hear you. I don;t know how anyone can make Whirlpool address my compliant as I am tired of complaining to them. I have a very busy life and no time to get stressed about such issues. I hope that writing in here will take this complaint a step further and some strict action is taken on Whirlpool. Thanks.

                                I agree 100%. People at large should be made to aware to shift their focus on other brands instead of whirlpool. Better buy orther brands and be at ease rather than going in for Whirlpool and suffer for ever.

                                With due respect I have purchased a washing machine model no.9906 INB[protected] which has continous drainage problem since fifteen days.Your engineer visited last week but after complaining several times, gave us the maintainance but the problem has started again. Your executives Suman, Parul, Dipak Singh and Nitin said that they have forwarded the complaint to the engineer and he will be arriving there but none of your engineers has reached us.Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.                                   I purchased a whirlpool automatic splash magic 0n 7th july 2006 and started using it from june 2007.From the day I started using it the machine kept on giving some or the other trouble.I have made complaint in the service centre for approximately 7 or 8 times and the engineer attended the problem but after few days the machine kept on bothering me.I requested the service centre to get completely rid of my problem but nothing happened.I have been using various whirlpool products like AC, refrigerator etc for last 8 years but never i came across such problems.This is the first time that I am fed uyp of whirlpool product.I would the request the authorities to get my product replaced or else I have to go to the consumer forum.

                                    compressor replacement under warranty period

                                    Refer our complaint No.HD-[protected] dt 21.06.2008 and my
                                    e-mail complaint dt 28.06.2008 wherein I have complained about non functioning of my referred model refrigerator. Till now it is not rectified or changed with new compressor for its normal functioning. I am put to lot of loss and problem due to this non functioning of my fridge. Hence, I request you to change the compressor with new one and rectify the problem for its normal...

                                    I lodged a complaint No. 14155 with Whirlpool service center for repair of my Fridge on Saturday the 21st June.

                                    An Engineer visited us the same day and after the inspection by the Engineer I was told that freezer( complete cooling coil ) need to be replaced. Accordingly this engineer put me through his supervisor and informed that a total of Rs. 2250 /- is to be paid inclusive of all.

                                    I agreed for this and accordingly the engineer promised me to replace the same on yesterday 23rd June. Till late evening I waited and then called up cust care. I was once again told by cust care executive that engineer will visit on 23rd June.But it was not to be.

                                    I checked up again on 24th June, I was told Engineer will visit by 1 PM on 25th June.

                                    Even today no body has turned up. When I called up customer care, now I have been informed that this will take another 4-5 days to get this sorted out.

                                    I fail to understand why I am being taken for granted in this case.

                                    This is absolutely ridiculous, had I been told that this will take 10 days or may be more to get this complaint addressed, I would have decided otherwise. Either to buy a new fridge or may be repair by a local mechanic.

                                    We are finding it extremely difficult to live without fridge at home even for a single day.

                                    And the height of inefficiency is that no body bothers to inform about delays, I get to know only when I call up customer care.

                                    HATS OFF THE WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE.

                                    The worst part is I have been given 2 mail id <[protected]@whirlpool.com> and <[protected]@email.whirlpool.com>.
                                    Email from both these ids are bouncing back.

                                    I have no way to reach to customer care otherwise.

                                    Please advise what should I do??

                                    Poor Service from chennai Team. No response, my A/c has been taken 8times. from jan sep. no proper service..I hope all the engineer's are learning from my A/c..
