Dear Sir,
I have purchased a whirlpool Ref 295 L 06 years ago from Mumbai and presently posted in Visakhapatnam, Anhra Pradesh. For the last six years i am extremely happy with my Ref and still under 07 years extended warranty. Recently the problem occured that the refrigerator is not cooling properly and the digital display though operational but not changing. The problem i am facing is i am not able to get the service engineers telephone number here in visakhapatnam as all the numbers mentioned in the boollet has almost changed.     Sub: Serious harassment to fault attention by your customer care center at Kolkata Office. Ref : Whirlpool Sensation EM 6.5 KG auto W/M. Model WHI SEN no: 8942 Serial No: INB[protected] Date of Purchase: 28.11.2005 ** Home care Plan Application No: HGO 02072309

    I purchased one washing machine of Whirlpool Sensation EM 6.5 KG auto W/M from your authorized dealer M/S. Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd., 20, Old Court House Street, Kolkata-1 on 28.11.2005 and the washing machine still carries the warranty with AMC up to 2010.

    On May, 08 the washing machine developed one fault and usually reported (No: KLO[protected]. The Engineer Mr.Rabindra Mishra, attained the fault and detected the timer faulty but sorry to say due to lack of knowledge and mishandling, your person damaged the temperature control switch and the person assured for its replacement. The matter was intimated to Mr. Gautam Mukherjee, Service Executive of customer care centre of Kolkata office, 8, Camc Steet (9th Floor), Shantiniketan Building and he also ascertained me that those faulty part will be replaced quickly with store availability, but again sorry to say, the faulty timer was replaced after two months from the date of reporting and that is after several requests, but more than seven months gone till now the damaged temperature control switch is not yet replaced.

    Whenever I tried to contact, Mr. Gautam Mukherjee, most of the time he avoided receiving calls or made false promise of speedy disposal of my complaint. I am actually fed up, disgusted with this type of customer service care and his behavior and dealings. Is it an example of your company’s campaign for reaching to the customer after sales through the slogan “LISTON, WE CARE AND WE ARE ALWAYS THERE”

    If this request/ complaint also finds place in your west paper box, then I will be left with no option but to seek assistances of the authorities of the Consumer Forum and I am feeling for wide circulation to all of my Yahoo group members from my email ID about the reputation and dealings of the company.

    I once again request to your goodwill for early replacement of the damaged temperature control switch and save me from harassment.

      I have bought a whirlpool s70 semi automatic washing machine on 25/12/2006 from M/s Unilet Hanumanthnagar, no one came for the demo and now from last month ie., from 24/10/2008 the machine was not working properly and i made a complaint on 25/10/2008 to this telephone no[protected]. The beauty of this company is every day i have call to place a complaint and every time the ready answer is we will send a mail our engineer next 24 hrs he will come and rectify, But to my surprise that 24 hrs still not come to whirlpool and unfortunately my machine is still lying idle.I want to ask one question, such a big organisation like whirlpool is giving such a pathetic service is verybad on the reputation of the company, now i am repenting why am i gone for whirlpool. The no of calls i made to your service centre probably i could have get repaired my machine paying outside

        I bought a whirlpool Elite 6.5kg washing machine almost an year ago. Within this time I got replacement 3 times. Every time it is a new machine but after a couple of months, same problem will be surfaced - a very loud noice during spinning. According to service executive, it is due to some cracked bricks inside. They need to take the machine back and give a replacement piece. This Time ( third one) I got an improved model (Professional 6.5kg). When I run it for the first time, it made holes on my clothes. Second time it stopped taking detergent. Third time it stopped working with an eror on LED display ...dLE.

        I lost confidence on this product because I think it is problem in the model not the individual fault. So I would like to claim the money back. If Whirlpool India is not ready to pay, I am ready to take them to the consumer court.

        Whirlpool India — Unreliable Product - Washing Machine

        Fully Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine. Worked till the warranty period. Compalints started just after waranty period. For repairing they want the AMC, otherwise, they want us to pay for change of parts.
        Are they service providers or CHEATERS???.

          Dear Sir / Madam
          This has reference to my online complaint lodged with you yesterday & the telephonic discussions I had with some of your representative deputed to attend the phone calls.
          Please note that your Service Centre at Kota has deputed 2 technicians to attend the problem we are facing in the Washing Machine of Whirlpool Make, Model “S-70 Steel” purchase only about 15 days back from your local dealer M/s. Sunderam Electrotech Pvt. Ltd. The technicians deputed have attended & solved out only one problem of “Continuous draining of water from the outlet even after switching off the drain switch”. The another problem of “Sliding switch provided for switching over from Wash Tub to Spin Tub” has not been solved out by giving statement that “Sliding Switch is made out of Plastic & such material does not covered under warranty” hence you should have to change over the water pipe manually.
          Today at about 1258 hrs. some of your representative from Kota Service Centre has requested me telephonically to send the Washing Machine at Kota Service Centre atleast for 2 working days so as to attend & replace the required accessories.
          Such problems of attending the equipment I have faced earlier while my Refrigerator of Whirlpool Make has started giving problem & ultimately main / heart of the Refrigerator named as “Compressor” got replaced after vigorously following up with your Service Centre Head Mr. Mishra.
          I am working in a Purchase Section of a Corporate Sector & shall advise to everyone to whom I know for not procuring the equipments / items of WHIRLPOOL make.
          Please note that I own 3 domestic products of your WHIRLPOOL as listed below & have doubt about their satisfactory working:
          Refrigerator
          Washing Machine
          Microwave Oven – 22C
          Overall I would like to request you either replace the Washing Machine with a new one or I have to take suitable action to get back the amount paid towards purchase of Washing Machine.

            Dear Sir,
            This is to brought to your notice that on 3.1.2009 I came to alappatt super shoppe at Broadway, Ernakulami and enquired about purchase of new whirpool geniu fridge against old videocon refrigertor.Accordingly the old refrigertor accepted orally for RS1800/- and Rs 200/=was paid by me as advance vide receipt no 3.1.2009 .However a invoice was provided for New G supreme 180 l refrigertor with a bill cost including 12.5% tax over the cost of fridge ie RS 7991.10 totalling Rs9000/= vide invoice no F08949 dated 3.1.2009.In the invoice it was noted that total amount as Rs 8200 less advanced paid as RS 8000/=.A gift was given to me The amount was obtained on 5.1.2009 from my residence after delivery of the fridge and taking back the old fridge.It is unfortnate that consumer like me was not considered without providing the following .
            1.No refrigertor key was given
            2.No waranty card was given displaying warranty period, items of validity etc and no signature was obtained from the purchaser or his representative.
            3.The bill displaying the details of the s.no of the fridge was not given alongwith sela of the firm and authorized signature of the company .
            4.The total amount paid by me was Rs 8200/= and the agreed cost for old working refrigertor of videocon brand green colour VNR A16AM modelwith s, no 143339 was Rs 1800/= making a total of Rs 10, 000/= while the invoice (not the bill) was for RS 9000/= led to loss of Rs 1000/= to me.Even on inclusion of the transportation, loading and unloading costs the loss for me is Rs 500/=
            5.The receipt for Rs 8000/= payment also not given to me by ythe firm.

            It is unfortunate repute firm of your standard created such a problem to me on the above lines.Please ask the concern to correct the lapses, provide the key, bill, recepit, gurantee card, balance Rs 500/= and inform me immediately by return email to [protected]@mpeda.nic.in or to phone number [protected] tommorow(6.1.2009) otherwise there is no option for me except to approach the consumer redressal forum .

              I have a fully automatic washng machine of WHIRLPOOL but of late the same started some problems. When the same was reported to the customer care an outsourced engineer came to our house and started fleecing us on one pretext or other. Even when this was reported to senior person Mr. Sanjay Gautam in the customer care he was rude and was totally in support of the outsourced agency.It seems he is alos hand in gloves with the party and I have no option other than to change the machine and go for other manufacturer who donot have persons like Mr Gautam

                Dear Sir

                WE had bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator(450 ICEMAGIC ELITE INOX) on 28th FEB 2007.
                But for the last 1 month the refrigerator stops working, where the cooling stops in both compartments, ice gets melt and the food inside gets perished.

                We had logged complaints a lot of times, but all the times the executive is not able to provide any solution. WE are now totally dissatisfied with this refrigerator. We would like the company to take an immediate actions either to repair the refrigerator to our satisfaction or to replace the same.

                Would appreciate the immediate action.

                LG 250ltr fridge — i have a defective fridge and need to get it replaced

                I have bought my LG fridge from Kohinoor Electronics on 18 December 07
                my fridge has lost cooling in the bottom fridge section

                1) 8 January 2008 part replaced bimetal controller & timer
                2) 15 March 08 part replaced bimetal controller
                3) 10 June 08 part replaced bimetal controller & timer but fridge still does not work even as of today complaint no (w8c[protected]
                4) Still not working as of today June 13

                This machine is DEFECTIVE and we have only one fridge in my house .I want this fridge to be replaced immediately as food gets spoilt regularly due to non cooling in the bottom section

                We have taken Whirlpool Refrigerator(300 ELITE) [double door] just before 3 months, we have given many complaints to the shop where we bought but there is no proper response from their side.

                The problem is that "refrigerator cooling system is not working and there is no air flow in it". So all items are spoiled when we keep in it. PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TAKING OUR COMMENT INTO CONSIDERATION.
                I agree with all the whirpool complaints, as I have just purchase a 310 ltrs. refrigerator in Feb'08, for last 1 month now the company & its engineers, customer service employees are taking me for a ride. Thay have not been able to fix up the complaint of no cooling at all in the refrigerator. My contact no. is [protected]. I think we all should bring Whirpool company to court only then they will do something about their product. Ps. contact me if you believe in bringing the culprit to the book.
                We have purchased a double door refrigerator nearly 15 months back, its stopped working 2 months back. Immediately i gave a complaint they gave me complaint number HD[protected] and they told me that my one year free maintenance is over so they'll charge me Rs.280 and it'll take 48 Hrs to vist my place. Even after two weeks no one turned-up. When i called again they told my ticket has been closed and they are asking me why i'm giving same complaint again...how a complaint can be closed even without attempting to repair (or) no technician visiting my place??? and they gave me another complaint number HD[protected]... it's been TWO months now i have made so many calls to so called customer care center but no one turned-up till now.

                PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION ON MY COMPLAINT.

                Company like whirlpool not able to provide proper after sale service to their customers why they are selling products and instead of spending so much money on their adds why can't they spend the same to retain their customers.

                LG 350 L Double door refrigrator — Refrigrator Cooling Problem

                I had unfortunately purchased 350 litre LG double door refrigerator this month and refrigerator have problem in cooling from very first day. Days back I complained to LG (rude) customer care that the refrigerator is not working as desired and they assured me that they will send someone within 24 hours to check the refrigerator.

                It’s already 5 days of complaint and no one from LG has yet visited my place. I have made around 25 calls to their call centre and every time I am getting the same response that within one hour some technical person from LG will call me and fix the appointment to visit my place.

                I asked them to escalate the matter but the call centre executives are not ready to forward their call to any senior manager. I have been facing a lots of problem and mental tension because of this refrigerator. I cannot store vegetable, milk etc at my home. Also, The LG call centre executives are very rude and impolite.

                Now please you suggest me what should I do whether I should keep silence or I should stop taking all the products of the LG and suggest my other friends to avoid taking the LG products because of the problem I have faced.

                I am very disappointed by the LG product and service.

                Even I have a similar problem. The refrigerator stops cooling in between and all the items get wasted. I complained and the service people changed compressor, gas etc etc. But again after 1 week I observe that sometimes the fridge stops cooling and then again starts working after a gap of some time.
                Definitely there is a manufacturing defect with whirlpool refrigerators which causes all these problems.
                I am having a 250 ltr double door model about 1.2 yrs old.Does anyone has any idea why is this happening?

                We had bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator (230lt, Product R/6, Model no. 10056, SI.no.INCO[protected] on 20th Jul 2006.
                Last 1 month before I have lunged a complaint no. 022432 against my Whirlpool Refrigerator (230lt, Product R/6, Model no. 10056, SI.no.INCO[protected] and the service centre M/S Goyal Enterprises, F.I.E patpat ganj Industrial Area Delhi Service Engineer Mr. Abdul attend my complaint (Authorized Service centre for Whirlpool)

                Service Engineer Mr. Abdul replaced the refrigerator compressor in under warranty and I was pay A/c gas and electrical Item Charges: 1445/- But again after 3 week I observe that refrigerator stops and where the cooling stops in both compartments, ice gets melt and the food inside gets perished.

                This is 2nd time same problem and definitely there is a manufacturing defect with whirlpool refrigerators which causes all these problems. Does anyone have any idea why is this happening?

                We are now totally dissatisfied with this product (refrigerator) and your 3rd class after sales and service. And I have a large mistake that was purchase whirlpool product. I want talk to Sr. Customer care.

                We would like the company to take immediate actions either to repair the refrigerator to our satisfaction or to replace the same.

                Otherwise If I m not satisfied I will write a latter to consumer court and CNBC media.

                I too had faced similar problems with the Whirlpool Refrigerator. I had purchased a Double Door refrigerator Model No. 340DL DLX INOX 4S - Serial No. INA[protected]Customer ID : MB/C/0208/6033) from Vijay Sales, Borivli East. I had been always having problems with this refrigerator. It stops cooling in between and then we have to register a complaint with the service centre. The technician comes and does something and then it works for some days/months and again the problem recurrs.

                I sometimes wonder whether they have sold me a defective one.

                Pls note the refrigerator has the cooling problem and it not cooling enough to making the ice cubes in the ice tray. Also the refrigerator consumes electricity more by 50% higher then previous.

                The refrigerator has making continuous noise which is very-very irritating and making us mentally upset.

                Pls note I have 3 small children’s and wife, and they are forced to stay with the faulty refrigerator, since after so many telephonic complaint this was not taking care by the company. This makes very dangerous effect on my family.

                Since the refrigerator is under the warranty period given by the company and we have made so many complaint to the customer care of whirlpool regarding the above problem, but after many telephonic complaint we are not getting any response.

                Pls note I am the service person and I can not take leave for the cause which needs to fix by the whirlpool.

                Pls help me to get fix this problem or change the refrigerator with new set since the refrigerator is under warranty period or else I have left no choice and take this matter to press & media and consumer court.

                i paid Rs1560 to the service engineer/whirlpool but still its not working.

                i am totally dissatisfied from the performance/quality of Whirlpool and am worried too that what will happen when its warranty period will be over because i already wasted Rs 1560 on this last week and i dont know how much i have to pay more now.

                I have a 350 lts FF magic refrigerator which I purchased in 2003. Exactly 5 years later in Nov the relay stopped working. After repeated complaints a service engineer finally showed up 15 days later.

                I have again lodged a complaint on 11 Jun 09 complaint no. 5039/Hyd that the refrigerator is not functioning. I was assured that the service engineer will visit under 24 hrs. Now it is 3 days and someone is yet to call up. Repeated calls to the call centre has yeilded no response except empty promises.

                I request people out there to not even consider buying Whirlpool products and the after sales service is one of the worst and they have no regard to the inconvinience caused to the customers.

                Worst refrigerator. I recorded my conversation with Sindoor today and demanded a complete replacement. Their technician goofed up the cooling in last call. In first 2 service calls he couldn't fix the cooling and in 3rd call he did something and 2 days back my fridge coil burnt and it blew up.

                I'm probably going to launch a Consumer complaint as well as possibly Police Complaint if this is not resolved. Even their website does not have email refrence
                We had bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator(250 Mastermind) on 08th June 2008. Just after completing the warranty period, on 15th June, 2009, the refrigerator stops working, where the cooling stops in lower compartment, the food inside gets start spoiling.

                We had logged complaint on 24th June, where the Customer care given an eastimate of Rs. 1500 to 2000 for refilling gas, filter & labour charges, Seems very surprising that the refrigerator was waiting for warranty expiry date. We were in trust of this product, but in real terms its not trustworthy.
                Would appreciate if the same can be considered within warranty which expires on 8th June09.

                Dear Sir,
                I have been a fan of Whirlpool few years back when I first purchased an Air conditioner & then I purchased a Washing machine & then a double door 340L refrigerator. Keeping in view the Service provided by Whirlpool during the years o[censored]se, I had recommended Whirlpool to a number of friends of mine.

                This year I had called for a service engineer for service of my AC & washing machine and my Refrigerator for the cooling problem we were facing.

                This time I am facing a problem in such a way that it has changed my perception of the Whirlpool Products & I will have to think twice before purchasing the products of Whirlpool.

                Reasons for this –
                1) We were facing problem of cooling in the refrigerator & water dripping inside the fridge & some boxes to be replaced. I had called for the Service engineer for checking & correcting the problem in the month of April, 29th. The engineer visited on 30th April, corrected the problem of dripping (which was not corrected in actual & is still the same) & asked to kept the fridge outside the Kitchen (which is 15 X 10 feet size). The service charges for the same were paid as Rs.395/- as service charges & Rs.2200/- for the peripherals. We were happy that the problem must be over. We kept the fridge outside the kitchen same but the problem was still the same. – Call reference No. GB[protected] Dt. 29.04.2009
                2) We called in for the Service engineer again on 15.05.2009 & gave him again the description of the problem. He again tried something & later told us that another engineer would be visiting again. – Call reference No. GB[protected] dated 15.05.2009.
                3) When nobody turned up for a few days I called upon the customer care again around 22nd or 23rd (I don’t remember the date as I was not provided with the Call reference No.) & I was told that they are having the problem unresolved in their systems too & very soon engineer Mr. Zafar Khan would be visiting.
                4) Mr. Zafar Khan visited around 26th or 27th of May, carried out checkup & told me that as the climate was not very hot during that time (due to the rains during that period) he would be visiting as the climate becomes more hot & gave me his mobile No. as well. We waited for him for the next week but when he didn’t turn up we tried his mobile. One day he didn’t picked up his phone & now we are getting message that the mobile is switched off.
                5) Today, 8th June 2009 14:15 pm, when I called up the customer care again, to my surprise, I was told that why have I not spoken to the customer care about all this & that I need to pay the Service charges again for the new visit. When I told him that the problem is still unresolved & why should I pay the Service charges for the same problem again & when I narrated him the entire sequence of the events, he told me that he shall be arranging a callback from a senior person.
                6) On 8th June 2009 17:15 pm, I received a call from the Senior person who after listening to the problems I am facing, said that he would give me a call back soon, who didn’t call me thereafter.

                I am not able to understand that why the problem is not getting rectified. Is it that the Whirlpool is interested in making money in after sales service only & not in the customer satisfaction. I have no hitch in paying service charges but the why should I re-pay the Service charges for the problem which has not been cured as yet.

                We are facing problem of cooling in such a way that all the things kept inside the fridge gets spoiled. Even the milk gets contaminated overnight.

                I’m having another refrigerator 175 litres of LG which is 5 years older than this one, but performing in a better way. Please guide me, should I change my perception about the Whirlpool products.

                I am also facing the same problem of refrigerator not cooling company said the gas of refrigerator is getting leaked. Now the problem occurs at least twice yearly and we end up paying the some of around Rs. 700 on each service.

                The continuous Problem in the refrigerator has changed my perception of the company.
                It has let the credibility of the company down at least for me.
                I too have a Whirlpool Icemagic elite 350 model.
                For the last one - one and half months I am facing the same problem.
                Though the indicator LED glows, the cooling stops in both the compartments and the food stuff inside the refrigetor spoils.
                Each time we log a complaint, the service engineer comes nad replaces a part called 'Modular' and the story repeats within 7-10 days. Today is his 5th or 6th. visit.

                I think the issue is with this model of Whirlpool.

                Whirlpool should come one with a scheme to replace their defective pieces by giving some good replacement option.
                I am open to invest some money, if this is workable.
                I had purchased a air-conditioner from whirlpool company to enjoy my summer season on dated 0402.2009. but I am sorry to say that from first day this A.C is not working properly. I did complaint so many times (detail as given below) and your engineers comes but there is no response, still it is pending.

                Refrigerator — stopped cooling within the warranty period

                I have already registered my complaint about the Refrigerator, still under warranty for the cylinder and the gas, suddenly stopped cooling.
                The reference number of the complaint is: 217770 of 16-08-09.
                My wife and I are both in the late seventies and have to take injections which have to be kept in a refrigerator. If the medicines/ injections go bad because of failed cooling, we will cease to be protected and we will know the damage only when the illness gets worse.

                I had bought a whirlpool Icemagic double door refrigerator 5 yrs and 6 months back. Till date 3 times i had to get its module changed. I have spent a total of Rs 9900 on module change alone. Also now its compressor is not working. The 5 years warranty has expired only 9 months back but now i will have to spend more than Rs. 5000/- for getting it replaced.

                SO in short i have spent more than Rs. 15000/- on the refrigerator which is less than 6 yrs old.

                I am completly dissatissfied with this refrigerator. I have henceforth decided not to buy any of whirlpool products.

                We have bought Whirlpool refrigerator 3 years back, now the problem with it is, that one day cooling is fine in both compartments but on the other day it is like, Ice is melted and things in lower compartment gets spoiled. we lodged a complaint in Whirlpool BUt there is no respose even from them

                I agree with all the whirpool complaints, as I have just purchase a 310 ltrs. refrigerator in nov'08, for last 1 month now the company & its engineers, customer service employees are taking me for a granded.                 Whirlpool — Problem in Refrigerator cooling system

                I purchased ref grater model no.10859, SR.NO. INA[protected] three years before. I found cooling problem. First time I do complaint to customer Care against the complaint no GBO41/003137 on 09/04/2011.

                First time action taken by customer care and Mr. Raju Malya a person from service station had refilling gas and also removing or changing some parts from it. He has not returned that “part dryer” . We paid Rs. 1130 against bill no. 224. He also mention the period for warranty is three months. But the problem was same from day first of servicing .

                Today on dated 18/04/2011 ,After continuous calls on customer care, they send an engineer. He mentioned that cooling was not affected by this refilling . He has done wrong work. That was not need to do it.

                After long discussion with his officer and his officer’s pressure, he mentioned and changed his last statement that “according to that guy that was problem” and “according to me this is second problem,” you will have to pay 1500 more for this work. When I replied that this fault has done by your side and you are sending a trainee who has done mistake due to not surety about the problem. Then why have you refilling and changing my fridge parts.

                He again talk to his officer and again said that you will have to pay Rs. 800 for it. They went at 3.55 P.M. from my house.

                This time all circumstances has reflected a clear chain of burglar who are not clarifying problem but also stolen parts with chain work.

                I am facing this problem from past 10 days and very unsatisfied with the vocabulary and rough tone of customer care. I am sure that everybody has sharing contribution in this whole work because they are bargaining in payment. (As ex. 1500 nahi to 800 de do. )

                Every time they are sending new person and I have not any proof that how can I mention my problem. Complaint have done by mobile no.[protected].

                So all people's i requested you, plz do not purchase any whirlpool product, i[censored] bought then faced lots of problems from a chain of burglar.

                Whirlpool India — Fridge not working

                I have been complaining about my fridge to the call centre for the last 13 days. The first complaint was registered on May 20, 2011 and since then I have registered three complaints. Till date i.e, June 1, 2011 my fridge has not been repaired and every time a techinician comes and says it will take two days and then vanishes. There has no response from the call centre too and on top of it when I called again on June 1 at about 7 PM, the person at the other end called me back from his personal mobile and started abusing me.

                When they needed to get money from me for the AMC, I received calls on a daily basis and their executives are using their personal mobile to abuse me.

                  Repair of my Whirlpool WasherTuesday, November 11, 2008

                  SERIOUS COMPLAINT

                  Dear Sir, My Customer ID is KL/C/0808/32932 & My Complaint No. is KL[protected] dated 05/08/2008. Your local Service Engineer attended the machine very promptly on 05/08/2008 itself but could not set it right saying that the spare parts were not available, promising to come back in two days, collected Rs. 395/= as Service charges and dissappeared. His assessment of the problem itself was also wrong as well. After trying to contact your people continuously every day, one other Service Engineer reported on 04/09/2008 and after checking the machine reported that the Door Switch needed replacement. He brought the Door Switch on 05/09/2008, replaced the old one, charged me Rs800/=, but could not start the machine due to one tube leakage. He checked and told me that it may take a few days to get the tube. I did not hear from him ever since. We were away from Kolkata and returned on 04/11/2008. Ever since then I have been calling up your people to attend to the machine but without any response. Sometimes they make promises, but most of the time your call centre people just pick up and then just disconnect the line. This is certainly not expected from a Company such as yours. My Washer is out of service since the beginning of August and your people have not set it right even after taking the Service Charges and price for the Spare Part. This is very unfair. I expect an immediate response from your end to see that my Washer is put back to working condition. Thanks / Regards Bimal Biswas

                    On 31.03.2009, the Local Service Centre at Patna sent one service engineer to the house. He reported that there is a problem of GAS CHOKING. It requires gas refilling which would be done at the House itself by paying Rs. 250/- for transportation, Rs. 281/- as service charges and Rs. 800/- appro. for gas refilling charges.

                    The service engineer was paid Rs. 281/- immediately.

                    On 03.04.2009, the Local service centre was contacted and then he advised to lodge a fresh complaint. A new complaint was again lodged with Toll Free Number who while logging the complaints was advised the old pending Complaint. The person at the Toll free no. asked about the quality of the service. He was replied in negative.

                    He reported that a senior service engineer would visit on the day to solve and assess the problem.

                    Since then, the Toll free number is being reminded thereafter on a daily basis but no one has visited to address the COMPLAINT TILL DATE.

                    Today ON 07.04.2009, the person at the TOLL Free Number (Mr. Pramod) today advised that they have assessed the complaint and suggested that the refrigerator would be brought at the Service Centre, Patna and the repair work is carried out only on SATURDAY.

                    It is worthwhile to note that NO body has visited at the site/house and assessed the problem.

                    WE ARE TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES OF THE SERVICE CENTRE/ TOLL FREE NUMBER.

                    I am also Customer of Whirlpool Refrigerator FF250 Elite in PATNA.I purchased it in year June 2004 and up to now as on date(26.01.2010), it went out of ORDER 4 times.1st, exactly after few days of purchase its ELECTRONIC DISPLAY PANEL collapsed. After it FAN, Diode, Display panel(again) got out of order and were replaced.Upto now i have spend more than Rs.10K on its repair. So NEVER EVER DARE TO PURCHASE WHIRLPOOL.

                    i'll agree with him because myself facing the same problem since i'm using whirlpool refrigirator for the past one and a half year my refrigirator got serviced twice with major probelms of gas choking and compressor elecricity supply problem.

                    I would suggest that don't think of purchasing Whirlpool refrigirator.

                      Terrible customer care and service. Product not repaired after 1.5 months and getting behind them

                      I have a 3 year old microwave which has stopped working. I called up the customer care around 1.5 months back and lodged a complaint. The service man came and tried out different things. It did not work and finally he said the main circuit needs to be replaced. Till than I have not been able to get a confirmed answer from the customer care or the service man as when will they get the required circuit and repair it.

                      I have lodged a complaint with Whirlpool Service Center for non functioning of Whirlpool washing machine on 01 Nov 2008 and phoned up service center for reminding them as no respose was received from Whirlpool service center representative on 02 Nov. 2008 and 03 Nov. 2008(Twice) but gone in vain. My machine is under paid AMC and valid upto Dec 2008 end.
                      Uptill now (i.e. upto 12.40 PM on 04 Nov. 2008) there is "NIL" response from Whirlpool, which is very dissatisfying and upsetting.

                      Washing Machine — no good response and no good service

                      cutomer care complaint number 873289...we had purchased the machine last year and is still in warrenty period .Its a month till now and still the machine is not working.in the 1st complaint the technicain visitied within 2 days and said he wil get. which, took almost 2 weeks to get back.After 2weeks the technician came and did some changes and the machaine was working.(since it was evening we could not operate and check) .The very next day it had some problem and again we had complaint .ist almost more than a week now..no reponse...
                      Would be great if some action is taken over..if not we wold like to take refund and give the machine back.
                      We opted for Godrej assuming the best in Service.And have been disappointed..

                      Whirlpool — no response from the service center

                      We bought the whirpool home UPS on april 20 2009 which got spoilt on thursday 8 octber 2009 and even after repeated calling to the call center there has been no response from their end.

                      THe service is really pathetic and sick.

                      My compliant no is 8038 registered by last week as there is improper analysing problem in pcb & some one came & replace the pcb also. same problem we are facing after replace the pcb also. so what shall we do? in the warrenty period itself so much of problems we are facing no body rectify our problem fully.Please do the needfull for me.

                        i have whirlpool awm 310 washhing machine . its drum seal lecage problem . i have complaint at whirlpool service center at hsp but no one repair it . ihave comp at net on 20/09/2008 . after 2 monthes service man open my machine and tell a seal send by service center is wrong number . now i daily call them but solution tell me .now from 15 days no one solve it . total 3 monthes no service and face serious prob . tell me about this ?.

                          A whirlpool Refrigerator (D/Door frost free 370 Iceberg DLX) was purchased by me from M/S CHITRAELECTRONICS GURGAON vide invoice no. 4341 dated 03/08/07.

                          From day one, the refrigerator had one problem or another (detached door, cooling failure) as the piece supplied was defective.

                          On prolonged and continuous follow up with the company for about two months, the same was replaced on 05/02/08 vide consignment note 11031 dated 05/02/08 of ADARSH MARKETING, NIT Fardidabad.

                          To our sheer displeasure, within six months of the replacement; the same has started giving COOLING PROBLEM.

                          I am forced to say that the good opinion that I had about Whirlpool products, is totally shattered.

                          I, therefore request you to depute your engineer for thorough check up and necessary solution of the abovementioned problem.

                            This is my first experience with Whirlpool and regret to say this turns out be my nightmarish experience I had so far having bought a Whirlpool brand AC.

                            I have bought a Whirlpool A.C Model No:1466, Serial No:10344 on 02 09 2008 from M/s.Rathna Stores, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai. I had faced Noise problem in AC within ten days period and it was serviced by your Service Engineer Mr.Ganesh. We had faced another problem with Fan motor on[protected] and registered a complaint through telephone. The complaint reference number is 30032.

                            After hectic follow up from our side, your service Engineer visited our office after a week time and got the complaint registered on paper. What a service! You take 7 Days to respond to a complaint. Is it your standard? This is what you give it to a customer who buys your product for the first time. Sorry to say you have to relook in to your system.

                            Having responded after a week, your team failed miserably in resolving the complaint as a result I am suffering without AC for 15 days. When I contacted, we got poor response from your team and I doubt whether they have capability to handle customer issue. The reply from your team is we don’t have Fan Motor as spare and we will service it and give it.

                            I request you to kindly intervene and arrange for New AC as soon as possible. In case any further delay, we will be forced to take legal course of action.

                            Trust you understand the value of the customer and act swiftly.

                            I bought an Air-condition a month ago dated at 2/09/08. Within a week minor fault occurred, fault had been rectified on my complaint. But after 15 days Air-condition had been completely failed again. Service engineer visited and identified problem that fan was out of order. (Service engineer visited also on many time our registered).he took to visit 20 days, after the complaint was identified no one visit and given us solution. My requisition has been registered for rectified the problem many so far. no response from there till now. I very much suffered.

                            I got pruchased "Master Mind" 0.8 Ton Window A/C. From the day 19th / April / 09 establish in the room & found cooling is not there even in Night. Wait couple of day's A/c is new may take some time to set but failure.

                            Drafted a colpmaint by 21st/ April / 09 (DL[protected], after a very hetic follow up with customer care & called them up 5-6 times in a day junior Enginner visit's name Amarjeet, a very gud & decent guy in all way. As per him cooling is ok. But my self not satisfied on that time, but agree to wait for more couple of day's.

                            Again drafted a complaint 04 / May / 09 (DL[protected] requested for seniour engineer visit. Cnfm by ur c/care executive it would be rectified by today +ively. No one come & not even call confiramtion.

                            From yesterday & today m still seeking ur guy visit at my home. Not happened. But some Mr. Parvesh, called me twice in the same a/m day to inform me that our person would visit you by 08/May/09. Not acceptable at all, complaint longe by 04/May, cnmfirmation for complaint come by 06/May. Engineer would visit 08//May. Sir, ur team like to play game with coustomer.

                            If this could happen to me, it could happen to any one. Is this ur way to provide customer servises. sorry to admit this but truth absolutely useless to run these kind of customer care...

                              I have purchased a whirlpool inverter ELANTRA Model on09.08.2009.my inverter is under warranty period. My inverter totally dead in condition. I have docketed this problem on 21st May. After this one of your service engineer was visited my house, and he told me the inverter has some parts problem which is not available right now.

                              Standing at 15 th day I don’t have received any call from your side. I used to call everyday to the call centre number ([protected]), they are saying your engineer visit on that day (the date of calling). But nobody had come,

                              We are totally dissatisfied for this type of miss commitment. Be a big or renowned organization you should look after this matter.
                              Including me we have 3nos of wirlpool inverter; we never faced this type of service problem.

                              So please do the needful as soon as possible, otherwise we have to quit other company.

                                I purchase a product from Whirlpool. I'm reliazing a lot that i've made a big mistake in going for it.
                                the product didn't performed for a particular feature " E -light" the day i switched it on.
                                when i gave the complaint on 18th Aug 2008, the service engineer made no. of visits to my home and informed us that the product needs to be replaced with new one on 28th Aug 2008, which will be delivered in 10-15 days. To know the status i called the customer care 66850000 in the first week of sep'08 to my surprise they informed me that the complaint is closed?!?! when asking to back-trace the complaint history also they are not able to tell me when it got resolved. i told the complaint is still pending and needs replacement of the product. customer care informed me that they'll inform the service centre and they'll call me back.
                                when i called again on 22nd and 30th sep 2008 But to my surprise they informed me the call closed. again i registered the call.
                                i'm not sure will they replace the product or the money paid to the product is just waste

                                Whirlpool Refrigerator — No response

                                i had purchased whirlpool refridgerator on 18 april 2009.
                                model no 11052 dlx. the day the fridge was installed the bottle rack was missing and the stabliser too purchased stopped working after two days.inspite of making several complains the issue has not been sorted out. and the engineers who have attended have not been up to mark.
                                my complain nos are :2952,8379,5139,11943,5143. as you can see so many complains and not yet resolved. dont expect such services from an esteemed company as yours.

                                we own a whirlpool fridge 350 lit brougth on 9 may ,2003.since then we have repaired the fridge almost 8 to 9 times .every time we give a call to the whirlpool service centre there is no response until we call for 3 to 4 times a day .we have opted for their home care plan & still we are not provided with the service .this time they have crossed the limits they are tellling us that the company does not have the compressors for the fridge so we have to wait for 8 to 15 days.home care plan changes every now & then .company has 100s of phone nos which are of no use.

                                the fridge is registered in my wifes name, we bought whirlpool doubledoor refridgerator in 2006 from s.c.shah mount road, we have already called 2-3 times the executive and spent money which can be verified with whirlpool itself.
                                moreover for the complaint done on 24th february till today 9th march2010 nothing constructive has been done. we have been just paying the consultancy charges if he steps.
                                imagine a life without fridge even after paying full amount for 15 days and 2 infant kids at home. initially the personnel said that it is happening due to no stabilizer,where as on purchase we were old about the latet technology of inbuilt stabilizer anyways we have paid 1500 for the same to the official but the running fridge which was just not getting cooler got completely stopped after the engineer came.
                                next he said some board has to be changed for a charge of[protected]. initially the part was not available but atlast when the part came the engineer is saying that your compressor has gone. the part changed shows a date of november 2007. how can a fridge of 2006 have a part of 2007 and again be replaced.
                                still the compressor comes under 5 years warranty which is to be replaced but no response.
                                call centre are helpless and there is no direct registration in internet when tried so this complaint for the mental torture,agony and prolems faced by small family o[censored]s.

                                Whirlpool Refrigerator — not proper response by company

                                  I have purchased sensation elite last year MAR07 from the begining machine was giving DLE error .Then after lot of follow up machine was replaced by whirlpool in nov 07 after using for few months machine again started giving DLE error service person could not resolve the issue and now machine stops with FE error where as there is no problem of water source .This a very poor product and even service persons don't know how to handle this product .I recommend no one should ever buy whirlpool front loading washing machines.

                                  not a single service engineer could solve the problem.Service engineers are not bothered.I have spent 25 thousand on the product to get the best ...now whirlpool has realy tried me out.I want my refund.self have a newborn baby at home and hence this is causing a lot of problem.

                                  I can understand your problem as i am facing the same DLE error problem on Whirlpool Professional Sport washing machine. Keep the product as long as it last thats it. Yes money is lost and they won't refund it. We have to bear with it. I never ever faced such problems with my LG washing machine. I don't know why i opted for whirlpool and took a wrong decision which i am repenting till today.

                                    I had purchased a whirlpool microwave oven - WHIMT22C on 30th August 2007. Just completing the warranty period, the oven stopped working and was taken to the authorized service center at Trivandrum. On diagnosis, it was found that PCB was defective and need to be replaced or repaired. The charge for the same is approximately Rs.3000.

                                    Purchasing the product from a company like Whirlpool, there were a lot of expectations on the quality of the product. Even with minimal use over an year, if the product has become defective, we doubt the quality of the product.

                                    Please let us know whether we should repair this or throw the product away and purchase a new brand product as every year we cannot pay 3000 plus amount for the maintenance of the product.

                                      Pathetic customer service - Hyderabad

                                      I had registered a complaint with Whirlpool customer care, here in Hyderabad on the 16th (Complaint number: [protected]), as my washing machine stopped working. A total goofball showed up on the 17th who had no clue about what was needed to be done. Even his tester was not working. He undid and then tightened some screws here and there and finally declared that the timer is faulty. He said he will bring a new one in 2 days and left.
