Respected sir,
My name is gayatri. G and i had purchased redmi note 4 on 29th november, 2017 (Invoice number : fabauc[protected]). After giving the mobile to the mi authorised service centre at trivandrum (At karama), they returned the phone without a sim tray and i had to go back again to get it. Since that service, the sim in slot2 is not getting detected at all. I inquired the issue with my phone at mi authorised service centre at cochin (Ravipuram) and i was told that one of the pins in the sim slot was damaged. The service centre refused to repair this hardware issue with warranty.

I am extremely disappointed with this. This is a pure hardware issue and i want to know why they refused to do the service with warranty. I need a reply soon to this issue otherwise this issue will be reported to come ncerned authority as a complaint

    My new red mi note 4 was under warranty periods, due to app crashing problem i gave it to mi care, panvel. They said we will software update it. After software update their is problem remain. So they took it for 1 day more. And promised me for tomorrow, i was not available on tomorrow so i send my father to get it back. But on tomorrow when i get phone back in my hand, there is so many scratches and different screen display condition. I checked imei no. (In settings and on back panel sticker) which is different from my phone, it was 8 pm so care center was close, so i went on tomorrow and inform them that it's not my phone. They kept that phone and promised me giving back mu phone on monday (Today), what should i do, do i deserve replacement from your company? They took 4 days and still not solved problem. Please help me? Or i will go to consumer court for fraud..

      I already raised a query on email which is not solved yet about jio voice call.

      Now,
      Here i face new bugs, the bluetooth turns automatically on, every time i have to off manually.

      This is new phone which bugs lot and can't use jio calls

      Really disappointed with your handset and service.

      For my early qurries which u haven't resolved yet.

      It seems to be my hard earn saving money got wasted.

        I bought a Redmi y1 online in mi store which is not working perfectly, the down keys are not working so I want to change a new phone for free by taking this phone back it would be nice if you send any person to exchange it would be nice or solve the buttons and replace it freely and the phone's heating very oftenly so we are requesting you to solve the problem or please get the phone back again and give our money or give a new phone.

          *mi is doing well, you are big brand in india now. Pease don't do such thing with your customer, please provide us best service.*

          *sir my phone is in warranty i brought it just before 2 months it's take 3 year to buy my first phone and i trusted on mi company, but sadly mi and their customer care have no value of customer's hard earned money.*

          I want to inform you that i purchased redmi y1 in dec.2016. Just 2 months

          From two days i found some problem in my back camera which is showing blur result while capturing photos, so i went to my nearest service centre which is located at bapunagar, ahmedabad

          Customer care executive told me that there is a slite band on your device and we can't accept it in warranty, you have to pay 10kfor replacing motherboard.

          They don't accept the device and stick on the thing that they can't accept this device in warranty

          Mr. Patni it's my humble request please request customer care to accept this device in warranty.

          Please give us feedback as soon as possible, we are waiting for positive feedback from mi.

            Redmi not4 64gb/purchase on july 17 this phone motherboard change two times in every three months. Imei no [protected] this is new imei no. Now this phone is in warranty so i have not give charges for repairs but when the warranty date is expire then what will i do? Every three months who give charges for repairing the motherboard? So this is my humble request to change my phone.

After checking, he formated the mobile asked me to change the battery. So i purchased battery from him (Bar code wxin[protected] he charged service charge rs 413 (Other than battery charge 599 + gst). Why this service charge extra even if my mobile is in warranty period.

                Flipkart and xiaomi india is making fool of indian customers. I got a redmi 5a from xiaomi. It is a defective phone. So i asked flipkart for replacement.
                They are not doing the replacement. They just want to pass on 10 days.

                On chat with mi support they suggest me to visit to mi service center at nearest to get a letter of acknowledgement. So now i visited to mi service center today. I told them the issue and said them to provide me acknowledgement letter.
                They started to investigate and after passing 1 hour. They confirmed the issue and side mother board is defective but denied to give any letter. They said sorry but we dont have authority to write anything on letter pad. Now, i got sure that are more eager to repair it. They offered me someone of doc certificate but warned me that after that your warranty will become void and flipkart may revoke the replacement.
                I asked flipkart regarding this: they said dont do this.

                So the motive of both companies is very clear they want to take back the defective phone just somehow want to pass the replacement warranty time and after that you will only have choice to get repaired the product.

                These chinese companies are looting our money and making fool o[censored]s. Now its upto you guys to go with them or not.
                I shared my recent case with them to aware to all of you.

                    My redmi 3s was working fine until latest update (9.2) even though it showed some problems in the beginning (2017). Now it took too much time to charge and discharging fastly. Last day when i put it on charger it was perfect. But when i checked it after 1 hr display is cracked. I thought it was screen gaurd but screen guard only have a small dot. Top of my display completely cracked. I was in office that time and i checked my office camera play back. Nothing happened on it and nobody touches the the phone upto these time. I want proper explanation from concerned person that how my phone get damaged.

                      Sir,
                      I (Md siddiqui) went to mi servise center (Sen cellular concept, barik, shillong) on 12/2/2018 with my mi max phone for upgradeing software. My phone was under warranty but i don't have the bill with me so i told them to check online but they refused and they told me for doing software it will be 600 and it will take 4 hours. I asked her why are u charging so much then she told me it's company price and they used to charge everyone same. Then i told her to do because there was no option. After reaching home i called mi coustmer care ([protected]) and asked how much it will be for software upgradeing they told me 150-200 maximum.
                      The next day i got call from mi that my handset is done. After reaching there i told her that i have called coustmer care and they have told me for software it will not be more than 200 and i told her to give me online job sheet and bill she refused to give. Then she told me to wait and she went inside an she came after 20 minutes and told me that they have contacted guwahati servise center now your handset will be under warranty and no charges will be taken.
                      I got my handset and when i checked some other problem was there (While calling it was rebooting) i told her to check what was the problem. She took the phone inside and came after 30min and told me that one screw is missing and it won't come under warranty. I told her half an hour ago you told me it will be under warranty and now you are saying it won't be. I told them before giving my phone there was no problem and no screw was missing also. Then again she took the handset inside and came after 20 min telling me that to keep the handset and it will be under warranty.
                      Next day i received call that my handset is done but reaching there same problem was there again she told me keep the phone an she we'll be calling when it's done.
                      After two days 17/2/2018 she called me and told me that my handset is done but same problem was there. I told her to call the technician or the manager she told no one is there. I asked her when they will be coming no answer was there after visiting servise center serval times not ones they are there. An rudely telling me that it will not come under warranty do whatever you want to do. So i kept the handset there and came back home. Till date the handset is in the service center.
                      On 20/2/2018 i called mi customer care regarding the issue. They suggested me to ask working online job sheet. But when i asked them they refused to give nor they want to talk with me or mi customer care.
                      Sir,
                      Please take necessary action against the service center for harassing the customer for making warranty phone out of warranty and spoiling my phone.
                      we are aware of this case and the handset was in out warranty and hope we gave you the solution also

                          The power key of my phone was not working. I gave my mobile in service center as it was switched off and not starting. Before my phone switched off, the screen was functioning properly. When the service center returned my mobile, the screen was unresponsive. They didn't repair the power key, for which i went there, and created new problem!! They told me that it will cost rs.2400 to repair the screen.

                            I purchased my mi phone in september 2017, my phone screen is damaged and phone is under warranty. But service center is not accepting warranty they are charging me rs. 5200 for screen replacement. Which is not acceptable as phone is under warranty. Service center person is telling it is the mistake o[censored]ser by which screen is damaged. If it done intentionally than it was user mistake. But during use it slips on floor and got damaged. It is the latest glass technology which is broken on falling. Also the phone hardware warranty is 1 year and my phone is only 5 month old.

                                For redmi 4 64gb.
                                I would like to escalate an issue with both service center and phone.

                                Please read carefully the below chain of events:

                                - i had recently purchased a xiaomi redmi 4 as a birthday gift for my sister on 20/11/2017 from amazon

                                - the phone was working tremendously. Until, 16/2/2018 when the phone fell out of her hand and ended up cracking her display unit falling on solid dry concrete road (Gorilla glass broken, touch digitiser working). (Photo below)

                                - on 17/2/2018, we took the phone to your mi authorised service center - k. P. Enterprises - flex, mulund (Opp oswal supermarket) to replace the screen in paid service. (Photo below)

                                - upon approval from the service center, i was told only the screen will be replaced at the cost of ₹2772/- payable only in cash. As i was informed, only the screen is being replaced, screen replacement warranty will be 3months and other phone part warranty will remain the same as 1yr period from purchase date (20/11/17-20/11/18) and so the phone would not leave warranty. So we commenced with the service. Handed phone at about 345pm and got it back by about 5pm.
                                When asked to your service technician if entire phone was diagnosed and cleared of any other abnormalities, we were told it's all clear. You can take the piece home. So we paid (₹2772) and left. Upon coming home at about 7pm, we tried playing some songs on the phone (Surprisingly they had not formatted the phone in the display change period), upon increasing the volume to full, no voice whatsoever was audible.

                                - so we decided to take the phone back to kp enterprises on tuesday 20/2/18 (As sunday was an off for the service center and monday we were out of town). Upon informing them that the speaker unit wasn't reproducting any sound whatsoever, they said they'll diagnose the device and see. We waited an entire hour, after which we were returned the handset stating speaker issue solved (Again phone was not formatted). Having learnt with saturday experience, we decided to check the phone thoroughly at their service outlet itself, and so we inserted sim into device to check on audible sound issue resolution. To our surprise, we could not hear the opposite caller, nor could they hear us, and only on speakerphone could we hear the person opposite. So we asked them to diagnose again and tell us why that's happening.

                                - a short while later, the kp enterprises service technician asked us to replace the sub-board of the device. When i asked why it's to be replaced, he said it's faulty and due to that i cannot hear or talk back to callers. When i asked him if he has the part in stock, he said it will take 4-5 days as the part is unavailable with them, so hence said you can check in other service centres if they have the part - it will be replaced free of cost in warranty. So then we called up b2x electronics dg mobile service thane west (Opp. Thanawala garage) and asked them if they had the part in stock, they said yes, come we will replace.
                                I asked the technician to provide me with a written statement as to why the part was to be replaced and what part it was, to which he denied the request and said that upon scanning your imei number we/other service centres will get the phone service history. So i asked him, why have you decided to change the sub-board when all that was asked of you was to change the display unit, to which he replied, i found it to be faulty so changed it (Not finding it important to inform me about it whatsoever till the point i asked the service history).

                                - so we collected the receipt from kp enterprises mulund and left for b2x electronics thane west on tues20thfeb2018. Upon arrival to b2x electronics, we were told to wait as they'll diagnose the device and let us know if sub-board needs replacement. So we waited for about 30mins. After a while we were called to assess the phone situation by their service technician, to our surprise we were told that the phone will not be in warranty as the mouth piece and speaker chipset has been replaced with a faulty piece that had been a used one as it had traces of moisture and soldering was uneven. When i asked the b2x electronics technician, i was told the sub-board is working perfectly fine, only the speaker/mic chip needs to be replaced else phone will no longer be under warranty and we will be subject to pay ₹400 to replace the part in paid service. Else they said i can go back to kp enterprises and get it changed there as they have tampered with the device themselves. (Part photo below)
                                So we requested b2x (Also known as dg mobile services) to provide us with a written diagnostic report addressing the problem correctly. (Report photo below).

                                My request to you mi service, is that could you please look into this matter? And help us solve it as correctly and effectively as possible?
                                I really find some aspects of this entire scenario very interesting:

                                1. For screen replacement, why was the mouthpiece/speaker chipset fiddled with if only the display unit was to be changed (When on diagnosis only screen was found to be faulty)
                                2. For replacing any part in my phone, a written statement is provided from service center which is to be duly signed by the customer authorising such repairs (Signed to replace screen, not any other parts). Then why was the other part (Which i fear was a working part) replaced without intimating the customer with the original part removed (Accused of being faulty) and replaced with another used chip from some other phone (Containing traces of moisture and improper soldering to chipset) which was defective too.
                                3. Why should the consumer suffer for the faults of your 'authorised service center' (Kp enterprises) when they tamper with parts that we haven't even requested to change apart from the ones mentioned???
                                4. Do your service teams seriously think all consumers can fall prey to their client misuse strategies to generate revenue out of parts, pushing the devices out of warranty for fitting used or defective parts and replacing original working parts while charging the customer almost 30-40% of the phone's mrp value?

                                Since kp enterprises has already screwed up my phone for no good reason, i would like to escalate this matter to your head office.
                                Please provide a worthy acceptable response and repair/exchange of device with new packed piece for the unnecessary faults of your service centre.

                                Hoping to receive something more matured and thoughtful from your head office team

                                    I had submitted my cell once again at your servce centre, v care, teen haanth naka.
                                    I had shared more than 100 nos of recording in the phone, where i face problem of sound issues.

                                    Last time, mr. Abhishek (May be not recalling correct name, but he said speaking from xiaomi) and v-care person were in touch with me and they made me convinenced that the issue has been resolved and i will not face problem again.

                                    Being service head in kent, i can not afford to swipe contact and most important kent app (Licensed based), i started using this after 10 - 15 days of pickup. From call one i was having same issue, but this time i decided to use for 30 days and collect proofs by recording calls.

                                    You all being seniors i am advising you listen the recordings, how embracing when you talk to your sub ordinate, senior and customers, disconnecting the phone calling again and saying sorry i think my voice was not reachable.

                                    I am not going to accept this handset again, either you can give me a new phone or you can close the case.
                                    Pls call me only when you are willing to replace the hand set with new one, no formalities pls.

                                    I will wait till wednesday for a replacement, and after that i will purchase a new one, and the trust which made me to purchase this redmi as third hand set in 1.5 years will also break.
                                    I understand the service challenges, and had shown enough patience with this hand set.

                                    Now its your turn to show how much you care for your customer.

There are lot of customers in heremi and if there is a problem with mobile then we have to go to another district which is less than 50 km.                                       I would like to boldly highlight the poor customer service from xiomi india.
                                      1. No one ready to reply to the customer mail and concerns
                                      2.customer care executive has cancelled my phone call repeatedly without givong any complain number. at this date and time 2:15 and 2:30
                                      I am having screen burn in issue please help my phone is showing the ghost images of last app I used. My phone is under warranty and I don't know how to fix it but this thing is really irritating me. Please give some solution and it is having problem after upgrading it to miui rom 9.0.2.

                                        I ordered 4 redmi mobiles having order id [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected] on 8th feb. I paid in advance and mine orders were successful. But unfortunately mine orders got canceled and returned to seller on 12th feb due to shortage of product. But neither i get the refund for mine orders which i paid earlier nor the products, which amounts 23996. I asked them nearly 10 times but they are telling me to wait. I want mine refund as soon as possible.
