I brought a redmi 4a from amazon in last week of april (Invoice attached) and it got delivered in the first week of may. After using it for less than a week, i noticed the capacitative touch keys were not working.
I took the phone to the service centre in malviya nagar, new delhi and they accepted the problem and asked to submit the phone. I did so, and got the phone back within 24 hours. Upon using for 1-2 days, i realised i was not receivig any calls and make any calls despite there being network reception.
I took it to the centre again and they claimed it was a problem with the sim. I went to my service provider and got a new sim. Upon still facing the issue of not being able to make or receive calls, i tried to make the phone work with several other sims which worked fine in other handsets.
I took the set back to the service centre on 3rd june, and they accepted the problem upon examining. They were having some kind of outage and refused to admit the phone that day and asked me to come on monday.
Finally, i was able to submit the phone for service on tuesday, 6th june, and they fixed it the same day.
This time, there seemed to be a problem with the screen brightness and i took the phone back to them next day (Thursday, 7th june). They accepted the problem and asked me to come back within two days to collect it.
As of now, i've burned 6000 rs and a sim card, besides 2 months because xiaomi does not care enough to manufacture defect free phones, and has no concept of customer service.
I want a full refund, and an apology.
