Hi indian consumer complaint forum,
I bought one mobile in 2018, november 2 redmi mi a2 by investing 15000 rupees but i woked only one year what given warranty by redmi company. Exact november 15, 2019, my mobile motherboard gone. Very cheap quality mobiles making my the xiaomi india.

I am requesting you don't allow this china mobile company. They are making the cheapest mobile and services for customers.

    Had purchased a redmi8 mobile on 18.11.19 online through amazon.
    When dialing any number, the centre of the display screen is showing faintly a different colour. I am afraid that there is problem with the unit bought. Please kindly replace it with a good unit. Is it an old defective phone given to me? I feel cheated. Yesterday the phone all of a sudden got hung too.

      From last four month i m not getting any updates... Regarding this i tried to complain... Through feedback... But it is also not working... Please provide me new updates as soon as possible... Because my mobile phone is not working efficiently... My mobile handset is xiaomi note 5... U people have also not informed about technical issue... Or any reason about that y u are sending updates... Please take it seriously... I m just fed up with this

        I yogeshwar patil submitted my note 6 pro at the mi v-care vt mumbai on the 18th of november.. Vide service order no. Wxin[protected] as i was facing network problem since past 2 months..
        My phone is under warranty and i was told that it would take 5 to 7 days for the faulty part to be replaced..
        It has been 10 days now and still the phone is not repaired.. And when ever i call for the updates they hangup the phone before i complete.
        Also i have been without a phone or any contact number for the last ten days. Please take necessary action..

          I purchased mi tv on mi.com. I received the tv on 24/11/y2018. When I tried to use the feature mirror screen it's not working. They are advertising it as a feature in their website (https://www.mi.com/in/mi-led-smart-tv-4a-32/faq/).i registered a complaint about the issue to mi customer care. They sent a service engineer to rectify the problem he could not solve the problem. so i request for replacement/return but he said it's not in their policy.
          I asked Xiomi customer care about the issue, they are saying sorry to me, they said they can't do anything.I attached the pictures below they are clearly advertising the mirror screen feature in their website but they failed to give that.
          They just said we took it as a feedback.I was hopeless by their reply.
          How can they advertise the wrong information on their website.It's an offence .Please try to solve my problem.Thank you Sir/Madam.

            My name is Anand. I'm from Hyderabad. I've recently purchased Mi Water Purifier (in mid October 2019). My experience with the service has been terrible and I request Mi to take this product back and return me my money.

            I've initially called and scheduled the installation and demo, at a time that I was available, and the customer care team scheduled the appointment. The technician called me 1-2 days before the scheduled time to check if they can come right away. I told him it is not possible since I was at work and requested him to come at the scheduled time only. The guy never showed up. I've sat at home during the 3 hour window, while I had other important work. My wife and I both work, and usually one o[censored]s has to stay home to attend to this kind of thing.

            I called customer care and it wasted more of my time to get the appointment scheduled. When I requested for speaking with higher authority on the call, they made me wait 30+ minutes without anyone attending the call. I called again and requested for returning the product as I can't deal with these delays and disappointments. Next day they sent a technician unannounced. Fortunately, I was able to attend to them. They fixed the device in a hurry, and left. The tap wasn't fixed properly and it was leaking and I'm not able to use the product. I've also requested them for a longer outlet pipe, they've misinformed me that the outlet pipe is available anywhere. I've roamed 10+ plumbing shops to no avail.

            I've called again and requested for fixing the leak, as other plumbers wouldn't fix this saying it's to do with water purifier, and it's better if the water purifier people fix it. So I requested for the leak to be fixed and an extended outlet pipe to be made available for me. The customer service scheduled appointment at a time that I confirmed will work for me, and the technician didn't show up. I called again, they took a complaint, and scheduled another appointment and the technician didn't show up.

            I have raised a written complaint, the service team followed after 9 days, and told me they'd schedule an appointment. I told them 7pm tomorrow (27th) or 7pm day after (28th) will work for me. They confirmed that the appointment is scheduled. Within sometime, I got an SMS saying that the appointment is scheduled for 9am to 12pm on 28th (completely different time that what was conifmred on call, and a time that I will be at my office and won't be able to attend to the technician).

            What is the point of asking for a set time if your technicians can't show up on time or even answer phones? This is the situation in a metro like Hyderabad!! How can we continue to use this product with such unreliable work and service? I have collectively wasted more than 10 hours in waiting for technicians, in discussing with customer care. This has been very frustrating and can't go through this every time there is a service issue. The product is good, but the service is just killing my time and because of bad service, just simply not able to use the product ever since we bought it (mid Oct 2019).

            Can you please take your product away and simply refund my money? At least that way, I'd still remain a happy customer of Mi. As opposed to having to suffer through this.

              In xiaomi mi super sale with exchange offer is going on. As a consumer i have placed the order redmi note 7 pro (4 gb x 64 gb) on behalf of exchange.in a same time i have made the payment of rs 7799/- on 18-nov-2019). Next day on 19-nov-2019 smart pickup got failed due to some technical reasons.

              Regarding the refund i have contacted xiaomi multiple times, each time when i contact xiaomi they are telling 5-7 or 8-10 working days. But fortunately refund policy is not available in xiaomi website "mi.com/in", if i ask the same thing with customer care dept they dont have idea.

              Being in digital network why xiaomi is required so much time to refund. Few minutes back i have contacted the xiaomi chat center, they are telling now 5-7 days required to reach warehouse, 1-2 days required to initiate the payment, 8-10 days required to refund. But no one knows exactly how many days required.

              Xiaomi is ready to supply the material to customer within 24 hrs, but why they required 5-7 days to return warehouse. Once the product is reached why they required again 1-2 days to iniate the refund, why xiaomi is required this many days. As a customer i didn't take many days to make the payment.

              Is there any policy to consumers or customers on behalf of xiaomi like "let the customer use the our product for 8-10 working days. If customer didn't satisfy means we will collect it back"

              All the customer care executive says we are not fake you will get refund, is this is not fake or cheat to hold customer money for long time.

              On 19-Nov-2019 smart pickup got failed, till yesterday 25-Nov-2019 order tracking status was showing returned to warehouse at 1 Am. Now its reflecting as Dispatched to mother_Hub.

              Now Xiaomi started new story please consider the return from 24th on wards. If ekart services took time to return means why should i need to wait for payments. after seeing this all nonsense Xiaomi is not ready to believe his own courier partner.

              when ever i tried to contact Xiaomi Customer care hey don't have own tracking tool, they are dependent on Ekart data.

              Because of this nonsense now i may need to pay the EMI, will Xiaomi is going to give whatever i am going to loose the amount because of their mistakes.

              If they mentioned about refund policy in their website means, i was not ready to purchase on exchange basis.

                I had purchased one mi tv but now we are getting issue with that, straight line is reflecting in tv due to heating issue i have raised complint baout this to mi customer care after that enginer was visited at my home and saying that you hvae to pay for this issue i was saying why we have to pay my product is under warranty they was saying no it's damage i was said show me where is the damage but they didn't resolve my problem i have escalted this issue to mi hire persons but still i didn't get any response from there to dya i have got call again from mi filed support they are saying i can give you discount for 25% again i have sent mial to hire person why we have to pay my reason but still i didn't get nay reaponse from there please help me and resolve this issue sson.

                  On 22 November, I was taken to the service center of MI due to the failure of the Redmi 5a mobile phone in the name of Akhilesh, first of all he checked the mobile and said that its camera, power button is not working.
                  He took the mobile to his service room. He checked there. Later I was told whose mother board would be changed, whose cost would be ₹ 4068, but when I refused, he greedily told me
                  And they also said that within 24 hours your phone will be available with a 1 year warranty with a discount. It is going to be 72 hours. I have not received my phone yet. I am feeling very uncomfortable and I used to expect a lot from this MI center which is producing satisfactory facilities at the moment. I am very upset. So kindly request you to kindly give my phone to us in the same condition as it was before, because I know that I will neither get 40% discount nor 1 year warranty paper.
                  So I do not want to take advantage of these facilities, my phone should be given in the same condition as it was, thanks

                    I have purchased mobile "Mi A3 Not just Blue 6GB+128GB" on 30th Sep 2019 and returned it by not accepting the delivery as per customer case instructed.
                    Later on they have said the refund will be credited to original payment source within 8-10 days.

                    But till today 25th Nov 2019 I have not received my refund amount.
                    They got my complain and called 2 -3 times but not able to provide refund.

                    They have provided the return ref number, ARN number[protected]. I have checked with bank and checking the statement regularly and no payment is received.

                    Its almost 2 months and a mi.com india is not able to provide me refund.

                      On 20 nov 2019 due to power on fault for my redmi note 7 mobile purchased on 13 march 2019 and with in warranty period of mi india company i go to mi centre divine galaxy e services sec 3 rohini delhi110085 code xmin1379 at 10:45am for repair where the executive told me if phone has not get water in it or open outside it will be repaired free under warranty to which i agree but on check they surprising told me that ur phone looked not balance and looking slightly bent and will be repaired under charges and since i have not seen any such problem and i oppose but after arguments they refuse to attend my phone without charging money and having no option i asked them to repair for which they asked me to sit for hours and return phone at 6:30 pm after charing rs1200 cash vide cash memo no 19/mi/r11118 of 20/11/2019 now it looks that warranty is just an eyewash for customer when mi has to refuse warranty for useless excuses for charging money really very sad experience from mi i have tried to contact mi india and raised this matter also on facebook page of mi india on 23 nov 2019 but they bluntly replied not to entertain with single arguments that phone is out of warranty without listesing or any enqiry hence it looks that warranty is just an eyewash for mi redmi customers and mi service centres wish to charge for anything for making baseless excuses

                        In kolkata, there is a mi official service center at barasat. The most worst service center every visited. I had a problem of bad quality voice recoding. They tried to fix that by making the mic hole bigger, how funny 😂😂😂!! It maked my phone ugly. They didn't even pay us the damage charge. At last they said, the mother board needed to be changed to fix a tiny mic with ₹6000!!

                          I have bought brand new mi a3 on 02/09/19.
                          Few days back i have experienced trouble with my touch screen so just visited nearby service centre to checkout this problem.
                          Initially they have tested my device and informed that there is software issue.
                          I have asked them to go ahead to solve the issue but later they have informed that issue is with the display.
                          And suggested me to replace it, i have asked them to claim the display with the warranty replacement as i have seen noticed warranty for display malfunction for 1 year.
                          There is no external damages on my display.

                          But they refused and compled me to replace under payment.
                          Why should i pay when my device is at warranty.
                          Such a non professional answers from your guys.

                          I need a proper reason for replacement under payment or else replace under warranty. I never expect such a poor quality with the product and customer service.
                          And this is my 5th mobile with xiomi each and every from my family are a customer of xiaomi.
                          Because we had trust with the brand

                            My mobile mi note 7 pro is dead from 1 month because of rain. Service center tells that motherboard is damaged they want 12000. What is this? Because the loan of the mobile is not cleared and they want 12000 for the motherboard i want the mobile in replacement or change the mobile because i taken the mi note 7 pro of 6 gb ram 128 gb internal storage. And now the mobile is not in warrenty because the service center guy has cleared all the seals.
                            I have given my not 6 pro for repair for 4 g sim support, when I received my phone 4 g sim problem is ok then my power button is not working well when I submitted my phone all button are in excellent working condition but after recving my phone it not working properly.. What is this...

                              My complaint is about the excessive charges in the mi service center.
                              I had taken my phone to the mi service
                              Center in Rajajinagar on[protected].
                              And as they took the phone without checking the phone correctly they informed it might be liquid damage. And they informed there will be inspection charges of ₹118 and then made me sign the document for charges. Then after 2 hrs of inspection they informed me that i had to pay ₹12623.64 for the repair. And when i informed them that the phone was under warranty. They responded that liquid damages are not covered under warranty. So as the charges were unbearable i declined the charges and they made me pay ₹118 and rudely told me that who told you service is free. Also insensitively suggested on getting a new phone. Also when i asked is there any alternative rudely gestured no.
                              I feel very displeased as the cost of a new redmi note 7 pro phone in market is ₹11999 for the 4+64gb and after bank offer we can get it for 10, 800.
                              And they are trying to excessively charge more charges for a service than a new phone itself. :(.

                                  I had brought mi tv from flipkart on 10th october, which was working fine until 15th november when suddenly there is a white line in middle of the screen. We informed mi service portal online, they appointed a service engineer who visited us on 17th nov. He checked and said there is damage in liquid panel. The very next day, they called and blamed that the damage is done at our end, while there is no impact mark or damage detected on the screen. Now they are refusing to replace it inspite of 2 year warranty on panel, instead they are charging rs.18000 (Including service charge which they are supposed to serve for free within warranty period) for the same. I brought this to notice of mi customer care, they promised to resolve, yet there is no action on their end.

                                    I do not want your goodwill gesture after murder of my phone. How the repair cost is set more than the purchase price. Who begged for discounts? No where it is written in the repair quotation submitted by your authorised service centre.
                                    Firstly they verbally offered 15 percent and again after discussion enhanced to 25 percent.
                                    It clearly states that your assessment was fake and misleading to the customer.
                                    I want 90 percent discount to repair my phone due to liquid damage under warranty.
                                    Your reply in this regard is required urgently as i am going to file a case in consumer forum.
                                    I took experts opinion and the set required hardly rs 3000 to put it in normal service.
                                    That quotation also will be put up to the forum authority.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    I purchased rermi note 7 pro 6gb/64gb on 26.08.2019 from r. G. Cellulars pvt. Ltd. Kolkata vice invoice no pb/mb/19-20/3077 for rs 13839.29 + gst ie total rs 15500/- with gst.
                                    The got water contact and as per advise of r. G cellular i visited qdigi services ltd. P-186 cit scheme vii (M), kolkata-700067 today ie on 15.10.19 at about 17.30 hrs.
                                    After inspection they have furnished the repair cost of rs 15716/- which is more than the cost of the set.
                                    Also they offer a discount initially for 15% and when i did not agree they enhanced it to 25%.
                                    My humble request
                                    1. Please get my phone repairs by minimum possible cost as it is within warranty period and damaged incidentally.
                                    2. How authorized service centre could charge more than the original price?
                                    3. How they have offered discount on damaged but within warranty services.?
                                    I am sharing the invoice copy and the job card for your reference please.
                                    Requested to do the needful at the earliest.

                                    My redmi note 7, is facing a problem while answering the call, the voice is getting very low, which is not audible at all i request mi service center to send one of your service person to solve it, or find some solution as early as possible

                                      After purchasing mi a3 smartphone, i found following basic features are lacking in it. It should be fixed by the company as these features can be seen in any basic phone also. Why should i pay rs. 12, 999/- for this phone where basic features are not there.

                                      1. No charging indication in percentage while charing
                                      2. Message ringtone customization is not there
                                      3. No call recording facility
                                      4. Unable to fetch already dialed number from dialed history.

                                      I need to inform you that I bought a new phone from A.P telecom/lakhtokia, i.e. Redmi note 8 on dated 13th October, 2019. Its only been 3days and my display is not working properly. I'm not at all happy with your product.
                                      Please find the attached picture.
                                      Kindly fix the problem as soon as possible.

                                        I am use k20 pro, for 2 months, 1 morning the display, was blank and i went to service center, but the rude customer service, was very much interested in getting the money rather than giving service or resolving the problem which is under warenty. The warenty word to them is just a jumla, they are least botered to give any kind of service the movement you say this is under warenty..

                                        The reason they rejected to provide warenty, photo shown plz check...

                                        I recoment all the customers of mi, not to buy any products of mi and forward this to all your friends and known once...
