Yamaha gladiator is 4th yamaha motorbike in my life that i bought two yrs back in Kerala. Everywhere i gave my bike for service in yamaha service centers, i received it back without proper cleaning or servicing.
On 17th July i traveled from Thiruvalla to Chertala (70km). i parked it and when i came back after 10mins it did not start. I had to call the service center - Shanti- authorised service center, and they said its an electrical complaint. it took them 3 days to find the problem which costs me Rs.3000/-
and repaired it in a weeks time.
They said the complaint is - core & some electrical unit. Its hard for me to believe it. Dont know how long this will again work without costing me more...

Yamaha — starter problem

I dont know how many times i have to write it,but again i mentioning that
my bike which i bought from JM motors this year and facing the same problem,i.e starting problem.
and this is the 7th time i am facing the same problem.
they again took my bike and its been 3days and they are saying tuesday they will deliver and even not sure.
issue is not about delivering it,issue is that they can't locate the problem
before thats why it become 7th time and I am really fed up with the services with
this problem i cant tell you how much problem i faced.Please Help me out.

YAMAHA GLADIATOR — SERVICE PROBLEM

Dear sir,
Today (03 dec 2011)I booked my bike for replacing clutch plates and lube oil at authorized service dealer Bharat Trading Company, Gorakhpur at 11.30 Am vide job card no 4674 after along wait since 3months as they were not having the clutch plates.When I phoned him At 5.30 Pm they told me that we are going to do the job and when I reached at 7.30 Pm the bike was standing as I left.And all there worker was simply chating with each other. For taking the key back I stood there for 20 mins as there was no person available at reception.This is for your information that I purchased this bike when you launched this bike in india and when Bharat trading company opened there show room at Gorakhpur . Kindly see to your services as day by day your service is going worst.

    i have got Fz 16 yamaha four months back in sangli, maharashtra. it already crossed 1250 km. on highway it does not go beyond 85-87 km/hr. i asked to service station, mechanic told me it will require of min 3000 kmto get the speed. but i am not satisfied with answer. as the bike is 152 cc. it has already crossed it's set time. please help me whethere this bike is only for show perpose or it will take speed also. even for fz16 add, they tells LORD'S OF THE STREET. they are fooling people.please help me out regarding truth.

    Either ur Choke cable is jammed or choke is pressed. Check this..
    Either ur air filter is fully choked. check it n clean it.
    Either ur Valve clearance is very less, check n adjust.
    Or in worst case some mechanical problem occurred(2% chances in YAMAHA'S).
    So do not make any conclusion without any verification...
    If one of any either is the case thats only due to ur fault - "Without have proper knowledge why u r driving BIKES"

    It can be in ur case but YAMAHA FZ has a maximum speed of 121 km/hr.
    Its tested by me n my friends. And IT IS THE LORD OF ROADS...

    Hi, Your service dept in Bangalore is really horrible. Please do raise the Standards of the authorized Yamaha service station before people start looking down at it.
    I have purchased a FZS from yamaha, motors(factory shop) in Baguihati Kolkata.The service dept.is just horrible, they are just bunch all of even more than that.once u enter the service dept they are ready to cut of your head, they are always busy in changing spares because they are getting huge commission they never try to solve your problem.my request is please move that smiley when you are making your advertisements.

    Yamaha R 15 — Speedometer Sensor

    My yamaha r15 speedometer stopped working after 1 yr of purchase. It is not just for me. so many other purchasers also faced same.

      i have buy Yamaha fz s before 1 month, the problem is that the Tyre of bike is faulty and the showroom from were i have taken bike they are refusing to replace it.

      they are telling me that the company MRF is having policy that we cant change the Tyre because there is a puncture in the Tyre so warranty is void but without using the product how can we know the fault of product and the answer given by them were very rude and irresponsible.

      so sir please give me response for this matter as soon as possible.i m leaving my address and number.

      For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm

        Hello!

        I had purchased FZ 16 Yamaha motorcycle MH02 BH367 on 4th June 2009 from Excellent Yamaha (Authorized dealers of Yamaha MotorsIndia Sales Pvt Ltd) Regd Office Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Rd, Andheri (E), Mumbai 69 .[protected]

        I started facing problems with shockupser from the 1st week itself. When I tried to accomodate a pillion rider with me the shockupser was not able to carry the load due to which the speedbraker touched the engine, stand etc. I complained immediately to the above mentioned dealer and they tightened the shockupser atleast 10 times due to which it has started vibrating! I am completely fed up with poor communication and service process from this dealer. I always keep gettig assuarances that some engineer will visit the showroom and look into the matter but no one has come till date!

        Right now my bike is lying at the above mentioned showroom.

        I want a new shockupser from the company as I have just purchased this bike!
        Please look into the matter and kindly have my shockupser replaced asap.

          A Complaint letter

          Date : 7/24/09


          Hi All,

          This is Prashant Sawant, a sincere customer of yamah who has Yamah FZ16 which is being purchased from Yamah showrroom in Malad link Road, Malad W, Mumbai on 15th Jan ’09.
          This is to bring to your notice that he Bike had undergone servicing last week & today I found that both the RIM’s of Bike has damaged . I took the Bike to he same showroom where the mechanic named Rafiq said he wont be able t help me & handed over the case to Manager Pro.Service- Nishant divekar . I spoke to him & tried to explain him the entire scenario . However found that he was not even ready to understand my problem & was very rude in handling my query . He was just of 1 opinion hat the damaged is possible only because of 1 reason which is nothing but an accident . I understand that such case could be an accident but the fact is that the Bike does not even has a single scratch & so he was trying to convince me saying that then it could be because of Potholes in Mumbai . I am ready to accept the fact that this could also be the reason . But at the same time even this needs to be considered that it has happened to both the RIM’s & not with one that I accept it has happened due to same reason given to me . Due to Potholes or Accident 1 RIM could be damaged & not both . If so was the case I would not have come to showroom .
          Later on Nishant started giving me immaterial reason that you don’t know how to use the bike then its not a companies fault or you would have purposely done this to claim in the warranty provided to you & so is the reason it has only 1 Rim otherwise both the RIM’s would have been damaged . Nishant then came to the conclusion that nobody can help you here except me so no need to argue because I am the only person who is solely responsible for this showroom . Later on when he saw that we are upset coz of his weired attitude then he asked me to go to Pune & escalate the matter to the head office . When I told him to maintain some kind of professionalism & courtesy & connect me to them . So his answer was its not my Job if you are not convinced then you need to take another step & I am not going to help you with this . After a while when I was told him that I will find out the number from 28888888 then he himself went ahead & dialled a number from his cell to someone . He went ahead in a conversation where I think he was not givng any information rather just trying to convince that person in his favour to conclude that our query is not at all valid . When I asked him let me speak to him he disconnected the call . In such case I just think he called one of his friend & was trying to make fool out o[censored]s . Later he called someone by the name Samir sayyed & explained him the case & again was not ready to give me the phone . I was told by Nishant hat Samir is in Pune right now & would be able to assist you further .
          Finally, when I requested him he handed over he phone to me . I spoke to Samir, he said he needs some photograhs & accordingly he will decide .
          When I was taking Samir’s number from his cell, he didnt allow me & said its my personal cell & no one has any right to us it . The fact is I was not using his cell but was just taking the number which was also reflecting in the main screen & that to in front of him . So there was no reason to show me what is personal & what is not ? Immediately I gave the phone to him & then he gave me number stating that this is Samir Sayyed’s number who is in pune right now .When I called Pune branch I was told that Samir is not in Pune branch right now & he is in Mumbai branch with his boss in malad Link road that same branch where I went for my problem .
          I spoke to Nishant to please click the photographs immediately & also requested him to mark me on mail which he would be sending to Samir . He said that’s not a problem will surely do that much for you & then he took my emal Id . Nishant then got his cell & started clicking photos, when I told him the photos would not be clear if taken from cell . He said that company does not have any camera for this purpose coz we actually don’t have such foolish customers everyday . I just want to know is this the way the associates from Yamah provide services to the customers ? What mega pixcel camera an associate must be using & what clarity it would have ?
          The fact also says that I was not marked on the mail when I checked that in same eve & was told by same Nishant that we are not allowed to do so coz this is against companies policy . When I told him you gave me hat commitment that you will send me the same mail he started pouncing on me . I was told by Nishant to keep the bike in the showroom itself & take the Job card coz by eve you will get he updated status of the problem . However when I called up in the eve I was told that he is not aware of any thing we need to call Pune & talk to Samir about this . when I called Samir his cell was not reachable . We were worried coz our bike was under his custody . Though he gave us the Job card but we still remember he saying that he is solely responsible for his showroom . We called him again & he said to call up in the morning coz he is very busy & would not entertain such calls . I thought of lodging a complaint at malad Police Station but then we realised that my Bike is with them .
          Next day morning Nishant said that Samir has updated him with the fact that this cant be taken under warranty & you need to go for insurance . I called samir again & was told by him hat Nishant told him everything yesterday night & he is not going to help us in any case . So I understood & My doubt was clear that samir was in Mumbai the same day & also in Same Showroom in Malad west . I was also told by samir the Fibre used for RIM’s for this Bike is of low proile & you need to be very careful while riding especially in monsoons . Which means the company has got this feedback from others also & it is nothing but a manufacturing defects .
          Just want to make you understand that when we went to purchase the Bike we were loaded with promises from company & now this is the kind of service given to us,
          I want you to think from customers point of view & understand that this customers has spent almost 80k to purchase his bike & getting this kind of result in just 6 months is not acceptable at all .
          I further request you to please understand the situation & provide best possible feedback to Nishant & ask him to be polite with customers & make him understand that the customers are always upset on the situations they are facing & not on the associate handling the query . That means that I was not upset on him but was upset with the fact of spending so much & getting this .
          Hope to get a favourable response from you at the earliest .
          Note : This mail is been written & typed by Ravi Arora on behalf Prashant Sawant Coz I was the one to take him to this Showroom to get his Bike .

          ha ha ha ha ha ... this what happens when u yamaha they look good but are piece of crap. i bought a pulsar 180 2 years ago i dont have any problems. yamaha sucks i have an advice dump ur bike and buy pulsar. ha ha ha ha ...yamaha sucks bigtime!!!

          Hi Prashant

          FZ's rims are really of poor quality and the same happened to me. First time I accepted their claim of accidental damage and claimed insurance for it. But it happened to me again, within one month of replacing the rim with a new one. The front rim also bent. The only difference with your case is that the service manager was quite well-behaved in my case.

          I'm filing a case against Yamaha in the consumer forum. You can join in or file a case of your own. Anyways this article would help me in negating their claim that "no complaints are received about rims".
          I agreed to your view, dont know why it is showing thumbs down.
          i exactly agree with ..you infact am also a owner of fz16 from 11/2008.Fz ;rim are very low quality.. my fz's rims were broken once when i was riding without any kind of impact..that was in Dec 2009..right after one month of purchase...

            I have purchased a bike Yamaha gladiator from green auto mobile by 6 dec. 2006, But from day first this bike is creating problems to me.

            1. Both the tyres (rear tyre is having a cut inside)
            2. Both the sockers are not able to take care of second person on the bike.
            3. Engine is creating a noice from day first.

            when green peoples enable to solve these problems i have to say pls do not go for a yamaha is yes pls do not purchase from green auto([protected])

              Dear Sir,
              I bought a Yamaha FZ-16 bike on december 2008 from East Zone Corporation, Kolkata but even after the third service it is giving me a milage of 27-28 kmpl. I have gone to the service centre thrice with this complaint but its of no use, they are saying that nothing can be done about it. I really love my bike but its gettin difficult to afford its running cost. PLEASE HELP IMMEDIATELY.

              Sir,
              i am a bike fan. I like to drive new bike. In last i drived yamaha fz. In my Openion that is the perfect bike. now i heard that give only 45-48 km. But some person said that give only less milage. so please avoid this problem.

                respected sir,
                1) i purchased yamaha fz-16 byke (on[protected] the showroom manegers and company persons are telling that two weels are having tube less tyres but we recently find that front tyre has tube please solve my problem.
                2) loan amount =47000
                down payment =30896
                total =77896
                on road prise =73456 (25/02/2009)
                extra amount =4440 this is too much. Total procecing&stamp charges should not more than the 2000 RUPEES please verify & clarify me

                  Product name Yamaha Fz 16.I buy this bike from yamaha setco ganesh nagar, delhi. I gave the bike for its first service but i wasn't satisfied at all. The motorcyle seemed as it was just cleaned and polished from outside.I am facing several problems since then and have visited the service centre 4 times but every time i am provided with some excuse and asked to come again later.

                  Some of the problems are lower pick up and mileage, noise problem, heating problem, starting problem etc.
                  I am not at all satisfy from bike's service. I visited 3 different service center but no one satisfy me

                  m very upset with the servicing that yamaha providing us...
                  a year ago when i purchased yamaha fz-16 from adarsh yamaha archini i m very happy with dis bike but today wen i gone to dat showroom again for servicing of my bike because his display meter showing problem there manager is saying that u have to take new display meter worth rs 2300 i just want to know dat the life of thiss bike is only 1 yr... today i think that yamaha's image is just going down by my opinion...

                    Hi i brought Yamaha FZ 16 in Jan. 2009
                    since then it was very good in performance.
                    its a very good bike.
                    after two monts rear tyre got flatten for five times till now. it seems every month my tyre got flatten.
                    I have also observed that there are many small cuts on the tyres.

                    I really need the information about the replacement of tyre and where to go for the same.

                    I am in Mumbai and bike is purchesed from Vikhroli.

                    i do agree for this as i also have the same bike and i am also facing the same problem, as my bike has done just 1500 km and the rear tyer is almost gone, it s showing that white threads around.i went to yamaha and sent me to MRF saying that it is the tyer problem and they can do nothing about it.i went to MRF and their reaction was not positive at all.i have no idea how this problem can be solved.
                    i also agree, iam facing the same problem the rear tyre got punctured 7 to 8 times. is there any alternate tyre that can be had to solve this problem.
                    yes . i completely agree... am so frustrated abt these tyres... i have done 11000 kms ... my tyres got punctured more than 30 times till date. its really frustratin.. am lookin for alternates to the MRF...

                    hi guys m also facing the same problem with my back fz tyre i have tried everything . i even tried the tyre with tube and there was no effect the tyre kept on puncturing . what is the solution for this problem???????//
                    and i will recommend to all my freinds not to buy fz16 or any yamaha bike and dont even use mrf tyre because the attitude of the employees working there towards my problem was very disappointing.

                    I have faced the same problem while i purchased the bike. got 8 to 9 puncture in 2 month. So then i go to MRF show room and talked about it. They said Yamaha forward the bike with mrf tyres which are not meant for indian roads. As indian roads are tougher than other country MRF has different tyres for indian road. So i talk to them and replaced the tyre with the normal tyre from mrf with some minimal cost.(Default tyre of MRF are not good i am not sure about it, but my experience says so) They are ready to change the tyre i[censored] asked them with a low price. now it has been running 35k KM. and now is the stage when i have to change once again. just searching for an alternate tyre with more gripping, while i came across this forum.s o just thought to add these lines.

                      I purchased my Yamaha FZ16 motorcycle from Pune in Nov 2008. Till now I have done 4 servicing of the bike but I am really angry, frustrated and totally dissatisfied with the kind of treatment Yamaha service engineers gave me.

                      Last week, the clutch cable of my bike suddenly ripped off.I somehow managed to fit a BAJAJ clutch cable instead(Attention:It has been a year to the release of FZ16 and the Bike spares are still not available in the outside market).

                      But like every other bike lover, I love my bike and insist on original spare parts so I visited the "AUTHORISED PUNE" Company service center next morning(Saturday).

                      But, as usual the service engineers were reluctant to even look at the problem and asked me to come later in the evening. FINE !!! No probs.

                      ok..now I got a little late(instead of 4 pm it was 4:30 pm, BIG BIG MISTAKE !!!) so I called up the engineers requesting them to whether I can come down with my bike to do the bike-repairs?

                      But another excuse (These guys never fall short of one, really astonishing ain't they???)

                      They said now its too late...it takes 1 hour to just fit the clutch cable(same guy had told me it will take just half an hour for the repairs same morning)

                      So they just throw me this sentence:"Come down tomorrow ANY TIME"

                      Fine!!! I asked them about their lunch time(Clever me!!!) . On earlier day it was 1pm-2pm which conveniently changed to 1:30pm-2:30 pm the next day.

                      So I asked them, whether I should come at 2:30 pm next day???

                      To this they replied "No sir !!! We have some important work to do after lunch break(Every Indian knows what IMP things we Indians do after lunch break !!!).So Come at 3 pm sharp."

                      So ultimately I reached service center exactly at 3 pm.I was told that we will do the repairs as soon as possible and deliver the bike(This was the only time they spoke properly to me)

                      But to my dismay, the bike was not even touched till 3:30 pm.

                      When asked about it, reply was as follows;
                      "HAVE PATIENCE...We already told you that it will take 1 hour for the repairs"

                      --> that sums up to (1/2 hr of Time pass+ 1/2 hour of repairs)

                      My question to you is, in these days of tough competition is it just enough to launch a COOL LOOKING bike without paying attention to customer satisfaction???

                      If the answer is NO...then please take strict action against these service engineers.If they are that frustrated with their jobs its better that they should start searching for other kind of jobs.

                      My only concern was that due to a broken or loose clutch cable the clutch plates or the gearbox should not be damaged. Can't Yamaha service engineers consider a case such as this URGENT and give fast response & do the repairs urgently?

                      Why we should scratch our heads for such a small problem??? I had to wait 2 days to get the problem solved!!!

                      Who should be held responsible if my bike breaks down suddenly due to this poor service or if the gearbox is damaged???

                      I request you to take strict actions and ensure customer satisfaction when it comes to BIKE SERVICING. Wearing sporty Yamaha Jackets & cool sunglasses wont get you far !!!

                      If this is not done, I will have to report it to CONSUMER FORUMS(they are eager to take actions in such cases)

                        I can purchase a bike FZ. he purchase it from jalandhar(punjab).whe we go to our nearest delear of yamaha for the service of the bike, then they told us they cannot service that bike, because we canot purchase it from that delear.they can service only that bikes which they can sold.
                        If we can purchase a bike from a company then they are responsible for its services by their service stations.If service stations canot service their product then, from where customer can get their service or tune up their products.that delear can not service our bike.So please take a suitable action.

                        I live in Chennai and i own Yamaha Enticer. The best 2 wheeler of my life so far

                        I bought it from Lakshmi Motors in Adyar. Due to their poor response and customer service, i shifted to Paras Service Centre on Anna Salai

                        Customer service of Paras employees at their showroom is really great. But, i Wonder why it is not managed properly at their service centre

                        The contact person (Mr. Saravanan) earlier used to be giving good customer service and now it is pathetic

                        I left my Bike for noise in the rear break and bike getting switched off, while driving. I left the bike, with the complaints for 3 consecutive times, still the problems are not solved. I wonder what to do with these. Either sell the bike and go for a new one

                          To, who so ever is incharge..

                          I bought a Yamaha R15 just 15 days back. Now if I park the bike under the sun for say 2 hours, I face the following problems:
                          1) Noise from the engine ( like the sound it produces during compression when we turn it on ), and it will only go if I restart it.
                          2) Idling speed increases to around 2000 rpm.

                          Please suggest any remedies for such issues.

                          Looking forward to a prompt reply.

                          I bought my r15 at june 25.My bike sounds a lot and its vibrating.:)
                          In the sun the fuel vapors become pressurised abd the ECU either lets the pressure out through a breather pipe. You might have a problem when the bike/ fuel heats up in the sun and can't release the fuel pressure.

                            I had purchased yamaha alba 106 from ur trivandrum(kerala)dealer, (mututh yamaha) 2 months back-after, visiting ur dealer your marketihg people confermed me about the milage was 65 to 70 km/litter.while other makes(hero honda)dealer promesed me 80-85 km /liter for avrage 100cc bike . i perchased yamehasince i had a feeling that yamaha will give me a better performence .but after checking the milage my bike was giving me ONLY 48-50 KM/LITRE.i was told that the minumum milage will be more than 60/litre. but i regrect to say that even afer 60 days o[censored]se i am getting only less than 50/litre of petrol, pl send me a reply in ths matter. i dony know that why ur marketing person cheated me by giving me wrong information about the milage. i had a strong belive that i was cheated by giving me wrong information from u . or other wise pl do the needfull to increase my milage. i will be happy iif my bikes give me atleast 60/litter. i had tryed by filling petrol from different stations.

                            Thanks to yamaha service manager Mr Ajith kumar of trivandrum. he is great and he called me for cheaking the bikeand he "tuned" my bike and now i am getting more than 65 km/l for my alba -106, in milage check with out compramising the performence.of the bike.

                              This is the intimation to u that i hve recently buy a Yamaha FZ from Sangam Auto, 8-9 Queens Road, Amritsar.(Pb) on date 22/05/2009. i have to come under your notice my concern that the experience of my first service that is on[protected]under the sagam auto, amritsar is utterly rude .careless and utterly poor. because of some personal concern between service manager and washing boy, , service manager igonor me. and other person dealing is not satisfistery. and he ask me for washing next day. actully i wanted to intimate the sevice manager that handle of my bike is not balanced and wanted the needful action, , .. but they blamed me that i hve accident with my bike .
                              which is utterly nonsense.. this means that M/S sangam auto, amritsar gave me a faulty bike, , now they are refusing to do needful help... but owner of M/s sangam auto ( Mr. Mounty) is also a bird of same feather.
                              Sir, I know that Yamaha is a leading company in Bikes and has a big reputation...
                              but dealer like M/s Sangam Autos, Amritsar, , can create a big huddles between Yamaha and Customers Beliefs.
                              Sir, i want the needful, so that ours beliefs remain same in Yamaha ..

                                sir i bought yamaha fazer from deki corporation in bhutan which is an agent for supplying indian yamaha models, since it is written in the manual book that we customer get free service for some time but when i took for oil change they charged me i disagreed and showed to the manager to my surprise he said that they charge since it is outside to bhutan also i had to pay for the helmet which ithink it is compliment with the bike please help me is it only in india that the service is free regarding about the bike it is superb

                                For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm
                                This email goes for all the top notch bosses of Yamaha --- i.e if they care about their product that's launched... i have bought a yamaha fz-s 8 days ago (9 sept 2010) and the bike is giving starting problem, once the bike is wet it will not start and the engine goes completely dead. There is also lot of smoke coming out of the engine as if something is burning and we have visited atleast 5-6 times to the showroom in these 8 days but did the problem still continues. Please help me regarding this as I am in dilemma after taking this bike which has a good reputation however it does'nt seems like that to me .Due to this problem the safety of the rider is also at risk because it stops in the middle of the traffic and I stay in very busy city (Hyd).My email-id : [protected]@yahoo.com

Today while coming from office the bike stopped after 100 meters in the middle of the traffic. It started again after 45 mins with the engine smoking and I am very upset with the bike.I think i have invested to a wrong manufacturer.

                                Hmmm... Looks like many people have similar problems with FZ. Mine is also FZ-S bought on 20th Jan, 2011. Bike has very strong hold on road in day time as roads are hot and dry. In night taking sharps turns are very difficult. Even though rear tire is very big it really don't help to hold grip on road if its wet and air pressure is +/- 1point. Air has to be 32 point for better ride.
                                Some times I really miss the kick as its monsoon in Mumbai & choke does not help many times. But thanks god after 5-10 attempts it starts. This bike is a sport bike but only good for single person. all your upper body weight is taken on your hand and it pains after 1 hr of drive.

                                This post is for those owners who are facing problems regarding to their bike rear tire kindly replace it with ceat 140/70-17 dhoom 3 tubeless tire as it is more reliable as compared to the mrf 140/60 r17 and its puncherproof and comes with unconditional warranty so we need not to worry if tire bursts or get cuts through stones.

                                Change the tire and get rid of the problems

                                  my yamaha 2 wheeler no: TN 65, H4038. yesterday i serviced my bike on yamaha thalayan motors from ramanathapuram. i changed my fork racer set, clutch plate and engine oil. finally my service bill rs.1313. in this bill prepared was manually.
                                  total labor charge : rs. 250, but extra bill on fork work - rs75, clutch service - rs75.
                                  what is this sir? i asked the supervisor " i need computer bill only, and what is the different between service charge and labor service charge?" but, he was no response to me. please reply and cleared my problem.

                                    I have baught a Yamaha FZ16 on 31st Dec. 2008 . They now cant provide proper service . even they dont react when i make a complain or trouble from the bike . i hade an accident on my bike in which one of my foot rest broke . when i went to buy that respective spare they gave me a part of which the packet was tamperd and some components were missing . they told me that they received the spare in same condition . my speedo meter has stop working suddenly . it needs to be replaced according to the service engineer . but they are not giving that part yet . its about 2 months that i made the complain . when i want to talk to the machanique they dont behave properly and dont listen to my complains properly . in short they cant provide proper service to their customers .

                                      I PURCHASED THE R15 FROM SRI MOTORS, ASHOK NAGAR, CHENNAI ON 27.07.2008 FOR RS 110000.UNFIRTUNATELY MY VEHICLE MET WITH AN ACCIDENT ON 6.06.2009.I HANDED OVER THE VEHICLE TO THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ON 8.06.2009. ALL FORMALITIES FROM INSURENCE DONE ON 8.06.2009.THE DAMAGE
                                      IS ONLY REPLACING SPARES LIKE TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLY, SIDE COVER, ETC.TILL DATE THEY HAVE NOT TOUCHED THE VEHICLE.WHEN I ENQUIRE ABOUT THE STATUS THEY CASUALLY SAY THAT SPARES ARE NOT AVAILABLE, SO IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 10 DAYS TO FIT THE PARTS.I WAS SHOCKED AND SURPRISED BECAUSE THE PARTS SIMPLE ONE AND AVAILABLE. I NEVER IMAGINE THAT YAMAHA MOTOR WILL GIVE THIS TYPE OF RAW TREATMENT TO THE CONSUMER.

                                      PLEASE HELP ME TO GET MY VEHICLE ASAP.

                                        This is to inform you that on 8/6/2009, i gave my yamaha fazer for service in kolam yamaha service centre(George Maijo Industries P Ltd). Complaints which i have mentiones in job card was not cleared by them.so again on 09/06/09 i gave my bike for service.i'am not satisfied by the customer contact of supervisor.He is not at all interested to hear the compalints and he did'nt even gave a single touch in bike.And the service centre did'nt gave water service when i asked with them for that the asked to pay extra amount for that service.when i gave my bike for service in reliance agencies(now its closed) i did'nt face any problem like what i experienced from this yamaha service centre.This is the second time i'am experiencing a problem like this from the same centre.please do the needful bcz every customer is an asset of co, if they are doing like this surely noone'lll cme.

                                        i suggest u to buy unicorn or now new 180 apache menace, it has gud pick, hrse power, gud look, average, strong body, in many shades + powerful as well...
                                        i have taken first fazer but it is a bull , bike, its battery gone in just 1 month, its shoe brakes r making sound did u belive in just 1 month only...
                                        it average is just 25-30, even it is just 150cc...
                                        even bullet give more averagethan that and its 280 cc...
                                        fazer is fibre mix so in my and my friends comment dnt buy fazer...
                                        prefer 180 menace or unicorn or pulsar 220 cc or 200 cc
                                        there r no good service centre in patiala . i have complant in my yahama fazer scince 2 years but no trand formane in patiala punjab, ( complant in my bike fazer carborater and shokers ) my cell no. [protected]

                                        yes the above mentioned complaint is absolutely right.i have bought a yamaha r15 from there.after 1000 kms i did service in pathanamthitta.they found that my r15 was running out of coolant.george maijo company didtnt check the PDI and given to me.as the first 1000 kms i didnt took speed at all as said in the yamaha manual.otherwise my bike will be caught fire.i feel pity oh yamaha company.why they are doing these to their customers!!!

                                        I also got similar experience.This time it was in Pioneer Motors tellicherry.The customer service was horrible .
