I have purchased yamaha fz16 from VICAS CORPORATION RAJKOT on 12/10/08.The battery is totally discharged and at service station they behaving rudely saying that i have not serviced my bike on given dates so battery is discharged and battery should charge month by month.If this is true then i request all o[censored] not to purchase from such dealers.

Hi Parth,

Even i had this problem right after my first service with YAMAHA Service center. After a year it again resurfaced and i had to bring the problem to Regional manager's notice every now and then to get it corrected. The MANAGER in the service center is an outright politician/goonda as he never admits his team's service mess. After a recent service my bike gets switched off while on the move because of this i met with an accident and the bike mudguard got totally out of alignment with the rear tyre.

Guess what i still have to shell out money from my pocket for them to correct their mess. How unfair.

I had better biking & Servicing experience with TVS.

But YAMAHA is the worst to the core, i hate that manager in the service center.

"Don't know what should be done to bring this to all the biking enthusiasts attention in order to stop them getting pick pocketed for 70 thousands plus the money lent for service and for correcting service people's mistake."

Just thought all is well, now FZ's favorite problem...that is the rear rim has started.

    I purchased A yamaha FZ16 on 6 of July....And till now it completed 4 free servises. But after each and every service my bike is facing problem..horn is not working, engine is rubbing, too many noice. i complaint each and every time of service but the problrm still remains there. i purchased tuos bike from Himgiri Yamaha at kKanti Nagar, Near shahdara. So please file complaint and take apprproate action. Otherwise I will take case to court. I am from news channel.

    I have been servicing my fzs from yahama himgiri for a quite long time since it is the nearest service center to me ..Service there is very poor ..they let you wait for loke 2 hours just to make a job card and top of that when you came for delivery they ley you wait for 1 hr just becoz they dont have any coordination betwwen people ...there was an incident when i was called to take delivery of my bike but when i reach there i found my bike to drive by some employee as he want some market work to do ...managemnt is very poor and hardly anyone listen to you ...

      I have purchased yamaha fz16 one year before but its tyre get regrating very soon in 3 months i have complaint to srvice people they said we cant do anything in this matter my friend also having same bike his bike tyre is also getting regret in 4 months there is very comman fault in this bick that tyre get thicker very soon plz reply me as soon as possible through phone.

      i am purchasing a yamaha fz 16, after 5000 km the rear tyres are punctures continuouly i dont know why but it was major problem to me it is not maid for indian roads, there grip was lost it seems to be like very old tyres. ther is no response from dealer. kindly someone help how can i solve it

      Budy, i hv done 30k k, s in 11 months. these service people from yamaha are really sad but still i m happy wod my bike. but now when i want new tyres i m hearing that this is in black market available for 3k rupees whereas earlier from the same service statin it was told that it is for 1.4 k rupees. please look into this matter.

      regarding the puncture issue even i had the same problem. in my 30k kms, it has punctured for more than 8 times. its really sad, but tanks that i hv my repair kit with me. but even after some time the rapaired pounctures again start leaking. this is the biggest problem.
      i had more than 20 punctures till now .my bike is 2 yrs old and a rode about 20k kms.

        Respected sir,

        My name is rohit from Hyderabad and recently on 14 aug 2008 i purchased orange colured fz16 motor bike in pearl yamaha showroom at Kondapur Hyderabad and i'm finding service is of highly poor quality, my bike is only three month year old and is already giving problem in my fuel meter.During my second servicing(ie on 11/11/09) this problem was found and when i asked them about the possible solution,they told me that they would definately replace my speedometer within 10 days as they were lacking spare parts supply and when visted there service center as i was not getting response from any of them ,now they went on saying that it is a minor problem no replacement needs to be required and they( Prasad ,who is the main mechanic and Mr Ananad who is the manager )temporarily fixed up the problem and still it has not been completely solved, I'm totally fed up of thier service and customer response and want action to be taken against these people and the company.

        I also faced the same problem. Yamaha kondapur Hyderabad service center is worst service center. Mechanic & all the staff are worst. they newer give the proper response not able to understand the problem. to give the bike for service we need to reach the service center early morning 8:30 AM and if before you there are 15 bike already there they directly refuse to take the bike for service. I gave my bike for service saturday 22 oct 2011. and i have very minor problem in my bike fornt break was not working & some problem with tail light & self start problem at the end of the day they told me everything is fine while the self start was not working they told due to wash battery may be bit down . but after 2-3 days also the situation was same.then when i again went to service center they told me right no mechanic come on next day when next day i went there they tested the battery & keep there for charging and told me come on next day morning when next day i went to service center battery was not charged that time also then again they told me come to evening finally in the evening i got my battery after battery installation i found that my tail light was not working when i told the mechanic he told me come to next day morning...i don't know for small problem why they are calling again and again while the tail light was my initial problem & i already mention that when i was giving the bike...Company need to take the action for these type of service center...i am happy with my yamaha bike but totally disappointed with yamaha kondapur hyderabad service center, ...

          I wanted to purchase a Yamaha R15 bike from DEVI MOTORS PVT LTD
          Address M/S DEVI MOTORS PVT LTD. OPP.Hubli (KARNATAKA). the sales person and the owner are not aty all intrested in selling the bke (i visited the show room 3 times). They show no intrest and respect to the customer. They force people to arrange money by creating unreal demand that the Bike is already booked adnd you get the bike if you pay cash before 11 next morning. The dealer never cares to talk clearly and all my frinends have the same response. Please help me as I really want to buy a R15 very soon.
          Yamaha hsa a great comeback but a bad service....

            I purchased a vehicle, YAMAHA FZ16 (Frame No: ME121C[protected], Engine No: 21C1061798) from SHINRAI Yamaha, Cochin on 21st October '09 and from the day one I’m facing problems from their sales & service team.

            After paying the whole money in cash, I picked up the vehicle the next day after registration. Reaching home I noticed that it did not had the FZ16 sticker in both sides of the tank. When contacted the shop, the sales person who sold it to me told that it got scratched while washing so they had to replace both the tank cover with another which don’t have any sticker. I felt like SHINRAI Yamaha cheated me as they did not informed about this to me earlier. They assured me that they will be replacing it as soon as possible but it’s been one month now and still I’m riding a new bike which don’t have any sticker. When I contacted them in between I got the same reply always that they have not received the delivery yet.

            Other than this i had to face more problem from them when the same sales person who sold me the vehicle gave me the wrong registration number, only when I received the RC book 3 weeks later, I came to know the correct number.

            Whenever I went there or called, they always have a laid back attitude which treats the customer harshly and when I asked to speak to their manager, they told me that they don’t have a manager as he resigned a week before and maybe that’s why they are treating customers like this.

            Another thing is that they stamped their company seal in all the free service coupons in both the seller and the servicing dealers place before giving it to me and I heard from one of my friend who owns a Yamaha bike that he had a very bad experience after giving his bike for servicing there.

            Its dealers like this with whom we have to deal with directly in order to purchase a Yamaha vehicle makes us feel very bad for choosing a YAMAHA.

            For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm

            I am an unlucky customer too from shinrai cochin...they r the worst dealers ever...i should have bought it from PSN yamaha...anyway, happened is happened...
            i too agree wid u guys...i too face tis same probs...1 of deir staff tld me tat d owner of tis shinrai is hav a honda n audi showroom...n tat person is bc lukin aftr tis honda n audi...he is nt even lukin 2 2 weeler section...i[censored] hav probs den dnt give 2 shinrai give d byk 2 psn 4 service...tats wat i m doin nw..
            so ders no reason 2 blame dem...i[censored] dnt find gud in shinrai den take d byk 2 psn...
            psn dealers are ... their sales officers dont know how to handle finance nor do they know to answer any query related to the bike... they are dumb fools pretending to know their work...
            all they know is to tell the customer some excuse to prolong the delivery date...
            if by mistake a customer pays full cash before delivery, they will sell the delivered bike to new customers telling them that if they pay a little extra they can deliver soon... and to they'll lie to the customer who have booked a month before that ' the delivery truck has not yet arrived' or some excuse they can think of...
            I have seen with my own eyes, Shinrai people did a fraud to my friend's bike. For the first free service when he took his book to Shinrai. They changed many of parts like Mono suspension, the whole silencer, headlight cover with old ones. It's not with just Yamaha dealers but also with Honda dealers to o. One of my friend's honda stunner when taken for first service, the service guy asked how much mileage he is getting and he with great humility said 65 km/l and lo after the first service he never got more than 48 and finally he found that his whole carburettor was changed. That's I ask all of you guys to mark important parts of your bike before giving for the first service, so that no one can steal your new good parts and sell them to others.

            The main issue is that all these PSN and Shinrai are franchisee, they are not at all controlled by Yamaha India. There is no checking or monitoring or anything. We are all cheated. Shame to be an Indian.
            Srinai Yamaha... is one of the most... stupid dealers... in cochin... please those to are planning to go there please don't it is since 4 days i didnt get my vehicle...Mr Anish was the executive, ... his behaviour was also .. very bad...

              Hello All,
              I had bought R15 from Orion Motors Bangalore on 2nd November 2009. And after a Week on 9th Nov my front Wheel bearing was broken . When i took my bike to the showroom they replaced the Bearing . And soon after 30 kms of the bike the bearing broke again . I gave my bike again and they found out that it is the bent in the front wheel disc pad that is causing the problem . From then on its been nearly 5 days and they always tell me that they have to get a report from Head office and all crap excuses. I am really irritated with the approach . And they are still not sure when will they get the bike fixed . I am totally unhappy with the service they have offered.

                i am aman have yamaha fz-16 from Delhi scooter (Raja garden) new delhi. i have got a problem in left side shocker in bike, still my bike is in warranty they have charged me for labour charges.i have not seen dis kind of activity(charged labour charges in warranty)in any other company before this. pls look in the matter and revert me with appropriate solution as early as possible.the detail of bill given below...........

                FZ-16 — INVALID Labour Charge

                Compliant against the delhi scooter dealer i got a problem with my left shocker of fz-16 been almost like 1 year i purchase the bike which is still under warranty but this guys charge for labour which was not acceptable i seen dis first time in my life with your company bill details are as follow;-

                Under warranty labour charges are paid by Yamaha. So dealer should not be charging you the labour charges if the problem has been addressed under warranty. If you need to raise it with the company please email [protected]@Yamaha-motor-india.com

                  I booked a YAMAHA motor cycle Gladiator Graffiti, Yellow Golden colour on 22nd Sep 2009 with full payment from your Vasai workshop of PARAS YAMAHA, add: Bungalow No. 16, Dewan Bungalow Complex, Ambadi Road, Vasai (W), Dist. Thane – 401 202.

                  the vehicle delivered was manufactured in year 2008 and it was not informed at the time of booking, simultaneously on physical verifying the vehicle, found rubber parts are damage, paint spots on some part of the body, on Tachometer and other part of the vehicle, etc… simultaneously I didn’t receive owners manual and vehicle service book and on asking for the same i was told that service book has not come with the vehicle from YAMAHA only.

                  In this regards I contacted and informed Manager of Paras YAMAHA. But till today I didn’t receive any feedback on vehicle defect and owners manual and vehicle service book.

                  Consecutively within 20 days from the date of delivery experience problems like Indicators, brake light not working, having difficulties in placing Gears, electric starting noise enhance then the normal, enhanced noise in engine and vibration while in still acceleration, etc….

                  Hence I request to replace the vehicle or return back my money.
                  Please help me out.

                    Hi,

                    I own a Yamaha R15 since August 2008. I am very irritated by the service provided by the Yamaha Service centre.

                    I complained before every service about the air leakage in both the wheels. I need to refill tyres every week. Are they technically unable to solve the problem ?? or they are not at all bothered about my problem ??

                    In the 5th service of my bike, they fit the rear wheel tilted which damaged the rear tyre. I informed the service centre manager about that.

                    In the 6th service of my bike again they forget to put a screw back. Yamaha is going to Kill their customer in road accident caused due to technical negligence.

                    They took the action after I wrote my complain here last time. They took the bike to the service centre and put that screw back. They did not solved the leakage problem. And as usual they again created a problem for me. This time they forget to put the complete tool kit back in the motocycle. I noticed it today when I needed the tool kit. Screw Driver and some other tools are missing. I am fade up with the service provided by Yamaha. Its mental torture for me. I believe they did it intentionally this time because I complain against them here on this forum. I just want Yamaha to take their motorcycle back pay back my money and mental peace if they are not able to provide proper service.

                    i wanna tell some thing about the air leakage . first of all you must not stand your bike under hot sun for a long time. if this is not a issue then i suggest u to remove both tyres and apply some sope or shampo water arround the tyre bid during installation and inflate front tyre with 45PSI and rr with 55PSI fore a few minut and after that keep front 28 psi and rr 32 psi. you know it is mandatory to fite nozle cap for tube less tyre. if there is no cover upon nozle then first clean it then install with cap.

                      I purchased yamaha libero G5 in november 2006 from Naman Auto Sales and Services located in Panvel, New Mumbai.But within a time span of just one and half year the steel parts of my bike including the handlebar, jumpers and accessories got junk on the surface( corrosion).I contacted the service engineer and the show room operators but did not get any satisfactory reply or remedy for my problem. Please help me out.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I bought yamaha fazer from a trivandrum dealer 15 days back. Till now i didnt get front number plate of the bike. Every time when i checked with the dealer, they said the number plates will be couriered from the company. And every time they said it will come tomorrow! not its been two weeks.....!

                          Hello Sir / Madam,

                          I purchased Yamaha FZS bike on 1st May 2009 from Naman Auto sales, Panvel, Maharastra. and have done all its servicings as per the schedule.
                          At the time of last servicing 12th September 2009 i launched a complaint regarding fuel indicator that it is not functioning properly and it does not shows the proper level of fuel in the indicator. They checked the bike and came to the conclusion, the fuel gaze need to be change. but they said right now we dont have the stock of it & it will take at least 5 days.
                          After that 45 days are passed and a have been there for more than 10 times at regular intervals but everytime i am getting the same answer that the part is not available. and also they are avoiding to speak to me if i ask for any explanation

                          To Yamaha Management Team,

                          This is in reference to my bike’s 6th servicing dated 7th Oct’ 2009 which was purchased from Excellent Yamaha, Andheri, Mumbai 1, shanty sadan, 45 Telli Park Andheri E Mumbai 4000069.
                          Self had giving my bike Yamaha F16 for servicing on 7th Oct’ 2009 at 1030hrs where in my Kms were 6298kms and the Job card no:5038. at First the Person Handling the counter (Mr.Sandeep). said that you have to take an appointment and come which was never told to me before this date. Then somehow Mr. Pillai (the in charge of Excellent Yamaha, Andheri Mumbai.) accepted the bike since there were many other customers who were not aware that we had to take an appointment and come.
                          In the evening, when I collected my bike, when I reached the highway I realized that the speedometer is not working. And the Kms completed were 6300kms.
                          Well on the next day that us 8th Oct’09, have gone back to the service station to complain regarding the same. Sandeep had a technician check the bike and then reverts saying that the speedometer sensor had gone. And said it will costs me approx rs.500. When I bought this up with Mr.Pillai, I said this bike is not even a year old and it did not happen in my hands why am I supposed to pay for this. Mr. Pillai said they would replace it without any costs. He made Sandeep take my cell ph number and said they would revert once the part comes.
                          For a week had no reply. However after a week there was no reply so I called them, they said that they would get back to me, again no reply so finally on the 27th Oct’09 I went to the service centre, he says that the engineer is not there to check the same and will let me know.
                          Then on the 28th Oct’09, I called them again when I call they said that I would have to pay for it. Am really fed of this service from Excellent Yamaha, Andheri, Mumbai. They have no Commitment, Mr Pillai and the team are as confused and dont give a damn on any after sales requirements!!! This is not done and we need a Committed reply!!!
                          Its not a question n of Rs500 which Is noting for me to pay, but the fact that the service centre has so many issues right from the first day of my service.
                          First of all they do not have enough technical staff to carter to the servicing,
                          Since my first service on 2dec09 they (Ms. Sheetal) told me that you do not have to take an appointment, and you can just get the bike and drop it off. That was good.
                          Then 2nd and 3rd Service (Ms.Sheetal) said the same thing.
                          The 4th 1st june’09 I had gone in the aftrn (Mr.Sandeep) anmd collected in the eveng.
                          5th Service 11th Aug09 had gone in the aftrn at 1230, he says no you have to take it the next day.
                          Then on the 6th Service I go on time in the morng he comes up with something new that I had to take an appointment and come. Now, how am I supposed to know about all this.

                          Really had enough of this from this service centre Specially from theior Management. They really have no clue to answer their customers.
                          Just to be nice inform of the customers they say something and mean something else.

                          Require a solution PLEASE HELP !!!

                          At the tme of last De-carbonising time of my R15(Second bike of Alappuzha Dist, Kerala state, Purchased from YAMAHA SHOWROOM, THIRUVAMPAADI, ALAPPUZHA-Dist, KERALA) I launched a complaint regarding "missing while running time".The service team (nearest service area at GEETHAM MOTORS, THATTARAMBALAM, ALAPPUZHA-Dist) checked the bikes and came to the conclusion, that was "sensor and ignition coil need to be change".But they said right now we don't have the stock of it and it will take at least 5 days
                          After that 75 days( TWO AND HALF MONTHS) are passed and have been there for more than 2 times at regular intervals but every time i am getting the same answer that the " part is not available" and also they are avoiding to speak me if i ask for any explanation.
                          Require a solution ..pls help

                          I m vedpal singh, i bought yamaha SZ-x in march 2011, it mileage is giving me 25-28 kmpl.
                          its speed meter is also stopped, i told it to the my dealer, they dont replaced the meter wire.
                          making excuse.
                          it is gud bike, but why its average is 25-28kmpl???

                          have done two servicing as per the schedule
                          but i found my bike mileage is dropped 42 km to 28 km because of they "" did not change Engine Oil "" but they charged for oil changing with bill in Rajaaginagar Yamaha Showroom. they are cheating and putting extra burden of petrol charge on the customers direct and indirect... in the showroom servicing management not mind to inquiry for this fraud

                          since i have purchased a bike dated october 2011..m not satisfied with it..that SZR is a curse for me.every now n then i have expense regarding it..its clutch bell is also defective..its not functioning properly..the colour also got fade...i dont use it much but then too...it also lacks in average..55 average was subscribed to us, but hardly an average of 35 is been seen..

                          Newly purchased Yamaha Ray Z speedometer not working

                          Hi, Yamaha Ray Z was purchased on Nov 9th 2013. The Speedometer was working fine when it was purchased.But then a day later (Nov 10th), the speedometer stopped working. When approached the service center, there is no proper response.

                            i praveer yadav of boring road patna, bihar,had bought a yamaha yzf r-15 from JMK ENTERPRISES,near DAK BUNGLOW,PATNA <BIHAR>.on 4th of august '09.after a maximum of fifteen days of running ,the soccer got tilted due to a minor accident,which also damaged the chachiss &filter of the bike.i gave it for repair or replacement of parts on the 25th of august '09 at the above mentioned dealer and till now my damaged bike is showcased in the service center due to their lame excuse that the parts are not available.i am facing a lot of problems due to this ,my many important works are getting delayed as i am unable to reach places on time.this was absolutely unexpected from such a reputed company like yamaha.i therefore request to whoever it may concern
                            to immediately look forward into my problem and deliver my repaired bike as soon as possible.

                            Yamaha YZF R-15 — Major issues with product and dealer

                            Dear Sir/Mam,

                            I bought a new Yamaha YZF R-15, Cash Down on 17th June 2009 from Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Geeta Motors. Initially I booked a red R15, however just before the purchase date was informed that the company has stopped the manufacture or sale of any color other than Racing Blue. The Dealer, Mr. Vinay Lohia made me speak to someone, who he stated was from Yamaha India and got confirmed that there will not be any new colors which shall be released Guaranteed before within 6 months. After a confirmation of the same I agreed for a Brand New Racing Blue color, out of lack of options.

                            When delivered on 17th June, the bike had already done 19kms on the speedo and there were no laminations on the bike, as it generally is for any new vehicle purchased. The tires were all dusty and it really did not give an impression of a new bike at all. The brake and the gear lever had strong ugly marks on them. I was confirmed by the dealer Mr. Vijay Lohia (Vinay and Vijay are brothers), that the parts will sure be replaced right before or on the first service. They did not even apply body polish/ provide fuel enough in the bike to even reach the nearest Petrol Bunk, which is less than 1.25 kms from the showroom, before delivering it me.

                            Right after riding it on the first day (less than 15kms), the bike started wobbling with a pillion rider on. When spoken to the dealership, they said it’s normal for any new bike to do so, and that they would correct it on the first service of the bike. While washing the bike on the fourth day I noticed that the tires were manufactured in July 2008!!! I am Highly Disappointed that I paid 1 Lac 5Thousand Rupees of my Hard Earned Money for a Year Old Bike! The dealer tried to calm me saying that a new unused bike is considered as a brand new bike only. Actually now I get to know that they wanted to clear the back log Old stock before getting on to new Bikes! But why me???
                            With less than a month after I bought my bike, Yamaha has come up with Three brand new brilliant colors. These dealer guys have really cheated me to the core. They have not yet changed the brake/gear lever. The tires are still misaligned. They applied “Poonam Polish” on my bike, and I have spent more than 13 hours on and off in their workshop to get the worst service I could have ever imagined. Prior to this I had a Hero Honda and I was Highly impressed by their professional behavior and outstanding service techniques.

                            On the first service they have scratched my bike’s Visor, the right Head light and fuel tank so bad that it looks really pathetic now. And more to it, the dealers are just not ready to take any ownership to their fault! They say “Sir, aap gaadi chalane se matlab rakho, nishaan ki parwaah na karo”. Why should I not? I’ve paid over a Lac rupees seeking to buy the best of the bikes around.
                            I need the following things to be done to my bike:

                            1. Brake Lever to be changed as promised
                            2. Compensation for selling me a July 2008 model bike in June 2009
                            3. Compensation for promising me that there will not be new color launched within at least 6months f me purchasing the bike.
                            4. Replacing the visor, right head-light and fuel tank
                            5. Alignment to be adjusted

                            I seek assistance now, I have been searching for Mr. Sanjay Tripathi’s email ID or contact number for lodging a complaint, and moreover I also wish to file a suit against the dealership if things are not taken care of immediately.
                            Hello All,
                            I bought Yamaha R15 from Orion Motors Bangalore. And soon after 300kms of the bike, the bearing oh the front wheel was broke . They replaced the bearing and again it broke off after 30 kms. Then they found out that it is the bent of the front wheels disc pad bend that is causing the problem. From then on its been more than five days that they have not replaced the part yet. They keep saying that they have to get the report and all. Very careless Service guys and irresponsible.

                                I have purchased a yamaha FZ 16 on november 2008 from Ms. Singhi Motors Sivasagar Assam. After my 2nd servicing my speedometer stopped working and according to my dealer I removed my speedometer and gave it to the dealer, they said it will be replaced from the Company but 1 month there is no response from the dealer nor the yamaha company. This is a worst after-sales service I have received from such a reputed Company.

                                For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm
                                I have purchased a yamaha FZ S on April 2009 from Ms. Alka yamaha Koperkhairane, Navi mumbai. After my 2nd servicing my Fuel Meter not working properly and still he dont available it. This is a worst after-sales service I have received from such a reputed Company. Bad service provided by YAMAHA service center.
                                yes they are worst in after sales servicing worst service by yamaha company, it makes our trust on such a great company very bad, as they have made a great acheivement in two wheelers world wide but lagging behind in servicing there products and they there yamaha accessories at a very high price plzz listen to this complaint dont make these complaints to be hanged up in the servers only anybody do somthing about it i want to sue yamaha bcoz of there bad service in jammu anad kashmir state bad bad bad worst worst and very expensive parts of every bike plzz if anyone who can do or have power to do anything about it after reading this do somthing all such big brand names are worst and nothing else...

                                    I purchased yamaha fz16 in feb 2009 - after 7 months only i was facing back and left leg pain problem.
                                    for that purpose i changed that seat and purched new one from Pune wakdewadi serivce outlet.

                                    But that also not solved my purpose yet. I had given complaint to Pune outlet but within 2 days i got the answer that there are no complaints from any other places. I explined my poblem to Head mechanic of Pune wakdewadi service center and he too agree on that problem.

                                    But it seems as there is no solution on that I have to sell this bike with heavy loss though the bike is so smooth but only seat (seat fiber pinching both legs badly) is not properly designed. But health is imporatant that money. But one thing is sure I will never come back to Yamaha bike again.

                                      I Mr Parvez khan purchased yamaha fz16 on last year Diwali in 2008 from AIMS YAMAHA Showroom at Thane. From that onwards i have done 5 services at this showroom for this they had charges me Rs. 460/- for each service approximately,but the service was too poor ,from this i am not satisfied with the same.

                                        I serviced my 1 year old Yamaha R-15 bike (2300 KM so far) in the newly opened Yamaha showroom called "Raj Yamaha" at OMR, Chennai (next to Jain College). This was the closest Yamaha showroom from my house.
                                        When I gave the bike for service, I stated them three problems:
                                        - My bike was giving a unique sound (something like Kssk...Kssk) continuously while riding. It is as if some moving part is touching a static body. It is definitely not the suspension problem. The service person who rode/tested the bike observed the same sound and said he will resolve the issue.
                                        - My rear brakes were loose. I asked them to tighten
                                        - The silicencer end cup was partly broken and I had asked them to replace with a new one.

                                        When I returned in the evening to pick the bike, I saw they could not resolve the first issue. They said they have to oil the chain to remove the sound. I asked them how oiling the chain could resolve this issue. They were not confident of their resolution. Since it was a new showroon they dont have necessary equipments to oil the chain. They asked me to come back again 3 days later to oil the chain. Now I will be surprised how oiling the chain could resolve the sound that I am hearing. I am not sure if they have any experience working on R-15 bikes. If I go back they will charge me the fees for oiling, servicing and I am pretty sure, the actual problem is something else.

                                        The second issue was made worse. My brakes were made further loose. Now while riding I see the stopping distance has increased. I see the impact whil driving in traffic as I have to apply brakes now and then. I have been riding my bike for a year and this was not the case earlier.

                                        The third issue was not resolved as they did not have the spare.

                                        Overall I paid them a service fee of Rs. 1250 for problems which were not resolved by them. I am really worried to take the bike back to Raj Yamaha showroom. I am thinking what else they could make worse. I have taken extreme care of this bike and so far it always looked new and clean. It does not feel the same anymore.

                                        Great service center. They did some work on my R-15 a while back and it has been running like a top ever since. I would highly recommend Raj Yamaha. Good service for a good price.
                                        The attitude of the people working In Raj Yamaha OMR is very bad. They behave as if we are being done a favour. There is no proper communication between the billing team and the service staff. The billing team cant answer your questions on the entries in bill. And the worst part is the billing section is almost in a different building which you have to go through a back street. So its upto you to walk back and forth if you want things clarified. Last service i was charged for water wash, but the service people said there were issues with water wash, in which case i shouldnt have been charged.

                                        10 days back i gave my bike for service and also complained there was difficulty changing gears. And 3 days after service there has been problem changing gears again. On taking it back i have been given a bill for 1500. And of that Rs.320 is for labour and 200 for engine oil change. The same was charged 10 days before during service. So in a span of 10 days engine oil has been changed twice for no reason. Because my initial complaint wasnt taken seriously. Altogether this is the worst customer and bike service i am seeing in 11 years of holding 3 bikes. And the billing section is on first floor which you have to climb by a ramp and you are not allowed to go through the showroom. So the sole objective is to give you as much of hard time as possible. I assume this is not to do with just Raj Yamaha, but the attitude of Yamaha Motors also.
                                        I have ever seen poor service station like Raj Yamaha...From foreman to top level no one is having professionalism...If we go for air leakage problem in tyre first they will suggest like need to change tyres and yes we will accept but after tyres change also still problem will exist...And again if we asked to the same person he will argue and tried to justify him and will give another opinion like need to change rims too...I was too much frustrated bcoz of Raj Yamaha...If this is a reliable truthworthy forum pls consider my complaint as high priority and cancel their licence and provide it to someother...
