I bought new yamaha fazer on 13 jan 2010.
the engine of the motorcycle vibrates too much, which i can feel in my hands through the handle while riding the motorcycle.

i have checked other yamaha fazers and found tha such vibration was not there in other bikes, implying that there is some problem in my fazer's engine/piston

kindly change the engine as it is in the warranty period.

moreover, there is no complaint link in yamaha india site.

    I have bought Yamaha R15 four months back & since then there is a problem in the rear wheels where the air is leakage. I have been following up with Excellent Yamaha in Andheri (E) for it & they have not been able to help me with sorting this out. This is the worst service I have ever seen. People out there are not at all serious regarding client issues.

    engine oil ignition display after service in allapuza ever green

    yamaha R15 — top speed

    Myself Mr. Nikhil, i have purchased a yamaha r15 on may 6th 2011, upto 1000kms i have not crossed 50kmph. After a first service i have checked the top speed it is not crossing 125kmph also there is no pick up in the top gear(6th gear). But company has recomended a top speed of 135kmph.

      Dear sir,
      i have put my new YAMAHA FAZER for service on 7th Dec 2009 at National Auto Agencies (YAMAHA Motors dealer at tirur, malappuram dist, kerala). They haven't delivered it till date (06.02.2010). The dealer is keep on changing the dates without a proper reason, some times even they told me that vehicle is repaired, but some formalities by insurance company is pending. then i visited the service center and found the vehicle unserviced.
      Please take necessary action against this.

      Respected Sir,
      As all of them, im also WAS a fan n lovr of Yamaha, till the National Auto Agency Tirur, Service Manager Anuraj misvehaved against me... B4 1 month.. I met with an slight accident.. And, i pushd my Yamaha Fazer 153 into their garage.. But, till on this day, evn a month is ovr, i only got my bik yestrdy... But still, he cheated me.. The bik started a sound from engine, after travellng 12 km away from the centre... I still have believe in Yamaha... They r rqstng to bring bik there again, and will need 1 week for compltng work... Pls take an action against him please...

        My name is Rajeev Mittal i bought a FZ-16 motorcycle from your dealer northern motor on[protected]. but now i m facing a problem that i had got my gear lever spring broken an when i visited your dealer they said we dont have that spring we can make it arrange in 2 to 3 days spring value to be rs 15/- and labour cost to be rs 100/-. I dont understand now how to make my motorcycle run in such a condition hence i visited your other dealer green automobiles firstly they said they had the spring but when they saw my booklet they said why do you get your bike serviced from other dealer i replied its near to my home and they also told me to get the bike repaired form the same dealer then i said they dont have the spring in their stock then to this they replied then we also dont have the spring and started chatting to the other customer i was just looking like a fool at that time.

        Is this the kind of dealers u have i request u to have a look on them. and if possible kindly get my bike repair as soon as possible.

SIR MINE IS A FIELD JOB AFTER TWO DAYS SITTING IN HOME SHOULD I LEAVE MY JOB OR SELL MY BIKE IF COMPANY CANT EVEN CHANGE A SMALL PART OF IT. IS THERE NO HOLD ON DEALERS OF THE COMPANY WHO REFUSES TO PROVIDE AFTER SALES SERVICE DESPITE HAVING ALL MEANS(ONLY BECAUSE THE BIKE WAS NOT PURCHASED THROUGH THEM OR EARLIER SERVICED THROUGH THEM) IS THIS A QUALITY OF YAMAHA FZ 16 EQUAL TO CHINESE PRODUCT SOLD IN INDIA.

        USE AND THROW
        ALL MY IMPRESSION AFTER FIRST LOOK OF THE BIKE GOT SHATTERED WITH BIKES PERFORMANCE* AS WELL AS ITS LACK OF AFTER SALES SERVICE.

        This is India. There is no such thing as customer service here, whichever company bike you buy. Once you pay the cash, then both company and dealer forget you; because they are busy attracting (cheating) more new customers. When you buy a product, just check if it has any defects at the time of purchase and hope for the best. The least you can do before buying any bike/car in India is personally meet existing owners of the bike/car and take their feedback regarding the product. All companies deliver new vehicles only in the evening time, this is done to so that customer cannot spot scratches and small defects in the vehicle.

          My name is D.C.Thomson from KALPAKKAM working in Department of Atomic Energy. I bought a FZ16 motorbike from Sivaraj Karthik Enterprises, PONDICHERY on 05/02/09. within 6 months my rear tyre has got crack all around the bottons in right side, often i used to check the air pressure.I complaint through phone and by person to the dealer about the tyre, they had taken the photos of the tyre and told me that they will mail to YAMAHA and MRF company for warranty, and also told that every month MRF service engineers will come to yamaha service center that time we will call u and u can come and show ur tyre. but YAMAHA dealers had never called me, i only always call them but there response was very poor.then june 5th i went for service that time they taken the tyre and give to MRF dealer for warranty. after 1 week they told that ur tyre has been rejected because it has 2 punctures, so v wil never give replacement. the 1st puncture was with in 1 month of the purchase and the other was on may 2010 only.. this was not my mistake, i was telling for 6 months if they had taken action when i complained i would have got warranty on my tyre but now it is not got, this is because of YAMAHA dealer only...

          Around 25 days i am going to office with my friends bike only.

          Then the mileage is also very poor. Service also very poor.
          I kindly request u to take step for this as early as possible.

            Dear Sir
            I am from Goa residing in Margao. I had given my bike Yamaha Fz16 for repairs at Karpe Motors in Margao since i claimed insurance due to accidental damages. The Bike was given on the 21st December 2009 and after a month the work has been done. The expenses have come to 9673rs and they are charging me Rs3000 extra just for the labour. Its like 30% of the bill im paying is just for the labour which is not fair at all. All im asking you is to please look into this matter and kindly contact the dealer or take the nessesary steps

            dear sirs,
            my yamaha 2 wheeler no: TN 65, H4038. yesterday i serviced my bike on yamaha thalayan motors from ramanathapuram. i changed my fork racer set, clutch plate and engine oil. finally my service bill rs.1313. in this bill prepared was manually.
            total labor charge : rs. 250, but extra bill on fork work - rs75, clutch service - rs75.
            what is this sir? i asked the supervisor " i need computer bill only, and what is the different between service charge and labor service charge?" but, he was no response to me. please reply and cleared my problem.

              Sir,
              I Purchased yamaha bike fzs on 30th april 2009 from STANDARD AUTOMOBILES RAIPUR.There is another authorised showroom in my city bhilai but when i was there to buy theres no bike available so i buy that bike from 30km away from my city Raipur.Now the showroom owner of my city refuse to service for my bike because i purchased it from another authorised showroom..IS IT RIGHT?? if not then plz kindly ask the question why they r doing this? it will spoil the whole reputation of yamaha! The Show room Name is "SONI ENTERPRISES SUPELA BHILAI CHHATTISGARH.I want my bike service in authorised showroom otherwise cancel the showroom authorization certificate.

                Dear Sir/Madam


                This is Rajat Bansal from Delhi. I Purchased my bike Yamaha FZ-S from Oswal Autos, Azadpur on 7.7.2009. On 18.10.09 i met wid an accident and gave my bike under claim(Insurance company is Shriram General Insurance) to them which they returned to me on 6.11.09 and charged me Rs 17,295. at the time of receival they said to me dat a cheque of around 13K + wil come to me as dat was d estimate cost but when cheque came it was of Rs 10,480. so a lost of about Rs. 3000 happen to me there and they are not even giving the details where they charged extra. They didn't returned my central locking which cost Rs 1800 and at that time dey said dey wil return it later as at that time they r not able to find it. now they are saying that they have lost it and not returning the money for that even. Also they lost my seat lock due to that they changed whole lock set which cost Rs. 900. Overall they cause me so much loss and not returning a singe penny.
                Also at this service centre there in not at all Coustomer Satisfaction As their service is really poor and they do not listen to oustomer problems properly.
                Kindly help me out in this regard.

                IF THE YAMAHA DEALER ARE NOT RESPONSBILE FOR THE COUSTOMER SATISFACTION

                Dear sir/madam

                This is prakash.v from dindigul(tamil nadu).I purchased my bike yamaha FZ-16 form the SREE KANAN YAMAHA MOTORS in(dindigul, TN) on the date of (9.2.2009).In the date of (17.3.2010) i met on accident in my place and i give my bike to the above yamaha motor dealer to service my on (18.3.2010).But they are not service and properly even tho i ask every day they replay no spair in my show room wait for it.They r not take any care of my bike right now and the service is verry poor.If the service center is not good to listent the problem and the coustomer satisfaction.kindly help me out in this regard.

IS MC121C[protected],ANDENGINE NUMBER 21C1055337.WHILE INSPECTION I FOUND THAT THE WELDING OF LEFT SIDE FOOT REST/SAREE GUARD FRAME TO THE CHASE IS INCOMPLETE.THE WELDING IS DONE ONLY IN ONE SIDE AT TWO PLACES OF THE FRAME AND THE INNER SIDE REMAINS UNWELDED.WHEN I INSPECTED MY FRIENDS VEHICLE THE DON'T HAVE SUCH A COMPLAINT.I AM PROUD TO BE A REGULAR USER OF YAMAHA BIKES FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS BUT I WONDER HOW A COMPANY LIKE YAMAHA IS HAVING SUCH A POOR QUALITY CHECKING OF THEIR FINAL PRODUCT....?CHANCE OF WATER INSERTION IN TO THE FRAME THROUGH THE UNWELDED PORTION AND RUCTING OF FRAME CAN OCCUR IN HEAVY RAINY SEASONS OF KERALA.....EXPECTING A FAVOURABLE SOLUTION FOR THIS AT THE EARLIST...I HAVE COMPLETED MY 3RD FREE SERVICE NOW...

                  Dear Sir,

                  I'm having YAMAHA FZS, reg no KL 13 T 7899.REG DATE 9.09.09.i bought from POYNEER YAMAHA, KANNUR, KERALA..now i'm here to give u a complaint regarding my vehicle.now i have done three free service.at the time of giving for the service i told to service mechanic regarding the mileage.but still i dont get a proper mileage.i'm getting only 33km/ltr.the company offer 50km/ltr.i'm not satisfied with the service o[censored]r dealer.when travell with co-rider the suspension hits with seats.the light doesnt have proper direction, it goes upwards.major problem is that i'm not satisfied with the service o[censored]r dealer and also not satisfied with the vehicle.so plz make arrangement to get my vehicle repaired.

                    I had bought a bike (Yamaha FZS) on 5thAug 2009 with Chasis No.-ME121C[protected] and Engine No.-21C2017602 from SRI SRINIVASA AUTOMOBILES, D No. 5-4-187/3&4, Soham Mansion, M.G.Road Secunderabad-500003. From the day I bought it I had a problem with its rear wheel break. When I asked about it at the time of delivery, the person who delivered me told that the problem will slowly vanish and I won’t get the problem again once I start using regularly but, the problem still continues. I mentioned this problem again in my bike’s both the 1st as well as 2nd free service at the service center, they told me that my bike has to be sent to the main service station and for that purpose they will call me and inform me but I didn’t get any intimation from them till this date. I had not at all satisfied with the service.

                    I request the concerned person to kindly take the necessary action and rectify my bike’s problem as soon as possible.

                    I agree with Mr A. Srikanth's statement because I also purchased the bike from the same showroom on 9th sept 2010 (SRI SRINIVASA AUTOMOBILES, D No. 5-4-187/3&4, Soham Mansion, M.G.Road Secunderabad-500003.) The bike is giving a starting problem from day one. Within these 8 days I have visited the showroom 5-6 times however they are not able to come up with any solution. Is it possible thay this showroom is selling all faulty bikes with manufacturing defect. Can something be done about it.

                      Hi I'm Vikram from chennai. I got a Yamah FZ-S model June09.
                      The service in yamaha outlets in chennai is really really pathetic and they don't even respect customers.
                      I'm really disappointed with Yamaha services their bikes and how they treat customers.
                      The last time I gave my bike for service was 2 mnths back which in the month of Nov09 I gave the bike
                      for service in the morning by 9 30 am they told me that they would call me in the evening once the service is
                      done. Like they said they called me I went around 5pm that evening and I was really shocked to
                      my bike in the same state as it was given in the morning. I was really shocked they asked me to wait for 20
                      mins and in 20mins my bike was serviced I don't know if they changed the engine oil or not I don't know what really people do out there .I don't know if yamaha chennai dealer Sree motors which is near ekaduthangal has such good mechanics who can service in 20mins but can't rectify problems in the bike (I rather don't call them mechanics) .I told those service people that I have some problem in the bike like the engine at times cuts off and then I will have to restart it again, but nothing at all and when I complaint to the manager he did not care at all and I'm really upset with Yamaha Chennai . I spent 600rs for nothing and my hard earned money is going for a toss. Sir I'm a great fan of Mr. Rossi and I luv Yamaha bikes but the way they treat people and their bikes isn't good at all. Please Please advice me as to what can be done.

                        Respected Sir,
                        I have to lodge a complain against both the dealer and service station of AIMS YAMAHA Thane.
                        I have purchased my bike YAMAHA FAZER(blue) Ch no.ME145S01X92014406 on 13th October 2009.
                        I had gone to AIMS YAMAHA to get my bike after a long wait(nearly 2months) after booking,
                        all the payment was done in advance.The bike's licencer silver guard was damaged.But on asking the manager at AIMS YAMAHA i was told that nothing can be done now as the bike with this chasi no. is registered on your name we cannot replace it.He told me to get it replaced from the service station & he called Mr.Singh to do the needful for me.I had gone there the same day but Mr.Singh told me the part is not available currently come after two days.Since that nearly 3months have gone by but i have not got that part reason stating that the part is not available yet,it has been ordered, the staff has changed or the yamaha manufacture unit is closed since 2months are the reasons what the head of service station
                        Mr Singh or his assistants gave me each time i went there.
                        I am a medical student studying in Kolhapur.I have transported my bike there, about which i had told to the dealer before taking the delivery of the damaged bike.Whenever i come to Thane i somehow manage to go to the service station which is located out of the main city.The service in there is really very unfortunate,the staff is not concerned about the yamaha rider which will not do any good for a brand name like Yamaha.
                        I am totally pleased with my bikes performance.Even the service provided in a small city like kolhapur is really appreciable.Whereas the people of the service station in Thane have never called me but each time they take my phone no. & assure that they will call whenever the stock comes.I am really feed up to wait more neither i have time to go repeatedly to the service station so i am going to buy it from anywhere i get it.But i request whomsoever that may be concerned reading this to take a action against AIMS YAMAHA Thane and also the service station staff located in Thane near D mart.

                        please change the back view of the bike fazer150cc...
                        Yamaha's service is not at all satisfactory. Moreover here in chennai @ Ambal motors Yamaha, the people tear off 3 important pages from the "Service and warranty book". The 3 pages are
                        1. Pre-delivery inspection
                        2. Delivery certificate - instead they give a separate one which is designed and printed by themselves.
                        3. Installation

                        These 3 pages are torn from the book. When I inquired they said the book comes to them just like that. Wow Yes Yamaha. Worst yamaha service.
                        I am planning to buy Yamaha FZ from Thane but now after reading the review I definetly wont go to AIM thane.

                        i am arumugam i will got YAMAHA FAZER AT COIMBATORE i will purchase date 01 03 2010. service TWOTIMES in trichyroad at coimbatore last time BILL 220rupees only change the oil. with in three days i am runing condition BREAKDOWN what is the reason now engine oil is DRY so plesae request changing the product
                        Really bad experience with AIMS Yamaha showroom in thane.
                        My battery was faulty n they didn't replace it.

                        Its only showroom in thane. So they are taking advantage of this situation...

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am hardcore fan of Yamaha. I own FZ16 purchased in Feb 2009. It is a amazing bike. I really appreciated Yamaha's new launch and such a makeover after decade.
                          But sir I am really disappointed by the suspension system of FZ16. Both the suspensions are very hard. Now a days i m facing a problem with my front suspension. I have contacted to my dealer. He made some adjustment , but it didnt work. Now the suspension are worst than previous. I dont know weather it is Shock Absorber or Shock Detector. Sir I really request you to give me some sugession that how can I check my front suspension. Dealer is not responding well. He said that these suspensions are imported and not meant for indian road. But i dont think that YAMAHA such a big manufacturer has designed front susupension without considering Indian Road quality. I really want your help in this matter.

                              Sale of defected engine
                              To The Yamaha Management,

                              My self Ramana, I don’t know whether Yamaha people will take any step against these complaints or not. I am writing this complaint becoz no other customer should undergo with a problem which I have faced. When I first saw the vehicle FZ16 in the ads I loved that vehicle like anything. I became mad about that vehicle. One day my wife has gifted me with that FZ16 vehicle on 24/07/2009. It was a surprise gift for me. She went to the showroom Venkatesha Motors and asked for black color but was not available. But one person named Sharat in Venkatesha motors suggested my wife to take the display vehicle which was black color. My wife has asked Sharat it is a display vehicle it was not looking that new. But Sharat told my wife that becoz it is a display vehicle it was not looking new, he said everything he will be taking care. My wife wants to gift me the vehicle on that day at any cost, becoz it was very special day for us. She kept the vehicle in my office with the help of my friends, and she packed the key in a box and sent it to me. When I came down I was a very surprised by seeing that, the vehicle which I love the most and my better-half has gifted me, made me so surprised and I was very happy on it.

                              That was the last day when I was happy from the date of my purchase of that vechicle. On the next day when I was about go to the office on my vehicle I saw that Oil was leaking out from the engine continuously as drop by drop. I was shocked to see that. First I thought it was chain oil, but later when I went to the office I saw that it was increasing and some sought of burning smell was coming out from the engine. Immediately I took the vehicle to Venkatesha motors. Then I went to Sharat and asked him, what is this happening with my vehicle? Then he said that some oil seal is broken that’s why the problem has occurred. I thought ok fine some mistake has happened with the mechanic. He kept the vehicle for 1.5 day and gave it to me saying that problem is solved. Fine I took the vehicle on second day and went back to my home.

                              Next day I was coming to the office on my vehicle, burning smell was coming out severely from my engine, I stopped the vehicle immediately and when I looked at the engine again the same problem, this time it was some more serious oil was leaking from the engine continuously. I felt very disturbed, anger & disappointed when I saw that. I called up to Sharat and told him that the same problem is repeating. He has asked me to bring the vehicle. I took the vehicle to the showroom workshop. I told Sharat that I don’t want the vehicle becoz you sold me a defected vehicle. He said that it cannot be done at any cost; vehicle will not be replaced once sold. I spoke to him for 1 hour on this but nothing was looking fair on his part. He has promised me that he will solve the problem at any cost and also promised that in future there will not be any problem with your vehicle. I spoke to the Service Engineer Mr.Satyanarayana also, asked him why this problem has occurred, He said that the mechanic has not done perfectly last time it was our fault, " It was our fault that mechanic has not done properly, this time I will personally look into this and solve it and will see that in future u will not face any kind of problem." I have again asked him to replace the vehicle. But Mr.Satyanarayana has also refused to do that.

                              Fine I told Sharat that it was my wife's gift this kind of issues are making us to face mental agony. But he is not at all bothered or took it as serious issue. Sharat says that “if you are interested get your vehicle repaired get it done or otherwise do what ever you want, I have seen many people like you. If you want to file a case you do that, I know what to do. Even I can do more; I have many big shots to solve this if it becomes that serious." If a showroom person is speaking in this way what should I do, I was helpless if I go to the court he is a popular rich person he has money he can do anything, and we don’t whether the case will be solved or not, becoz our laws are like that. The man who has money will win. I am a normal middle class person going to work and coming back in the evening. I can’t afford more expenses.

                              In this country customer doesn’t has any value. I gave the vehicle on approximate date 28.07.09 and he kept the vehicle for 1 week saying that vehicle is under observation so we are in the process we will do it. He kept the vehicle for one week. Show room people are not even informed me that when they are going to give the vehicle. Mr.Satyanarayana was saying that we will get back to you. Till 1 week I didn’t get a call. I felt these will not do anything, so I have called up to the workshop and to Sharat also, they told me u can come and take your vehicle tomorrow. Fine I went to the workshop and spoke to Sharat and Satyanarayana that if the same problem occurs what will you do, he said many times and even he has promised that at any cost, you will not have any problem with your vehicle in future. I said if the problem repeats things will not be good and you have to replace the vehicle. He said, that is impossible. First of all u will not have any problem, i[censored] face any problem we will rectify and give it but at any cost we are not going to replace the vehicle, who ever it may be. It is Yamaha company rule that we are not supposed to replace the vehicle.

                              I took the vehicle and came back I and my wife were not that happy of that new vehicle. After 3 to 4 days a new sound from the engine has started and burning smell was coming out. I took the vehicle to the Yamaha workshop mechanic, he said it is a general tapping sound, engine cannot be opened at this moment becoz it is new engine. He told me to use for 2 or 3 months after that we will rectify it and also he said that nothing is serious problem it is general. Fine I agreed to him becoz mechanic knows more than me. I went back to home. After 3 months at approx 2100 kilometers I went back to the workshop and said the taping problem is increasing then he said it is only just 2000 kilometers he asked me to come at 3000 kilometers, I think the mechanic name was Ahmed I am not that sure.

                              Fine after few days I took my vehicle on 17/12/2009 at 3000 kilometers, he said we will not do your 2 free service we will go for 3rd free service, I got angry I said that it was you who sent me back when I have come 2 times. It was your problem that u sent me back. Finally after big argument and with the help of Mr.Maruthi they took for 2nd service. I told him that tapping sound is increasing and burning smell is coming out of the engine. Fine he said we will look into this. He said he will deliver my vehicle on 18.12.09. When I went to the workshop on 18.12.09 he said your vehicle is not yet done it has some problem it is under observation. I spoke to Satyanarayana regarding the problem he said Oil was not pumping into the engine properly and some oil seal is defected. The engine temperature is also high so we kept it for observation. Satyanarayana has asked me to come on next day i.e. on 19.12.09. Fine I have called him on 19.12.09 and asked about my vehicle status, he said some Oil Seal is defected or is broken we have to get the part from the head office. It is not available in the workshop now. He said you have to wait till the part comes and it will take 2 days more. Fine I went back.

                              I was totally very disappointed with my vehicle and even Yamaha service people. There is no commitment at all; they are just making money not service. I called up Sharat on 25.12.09 and asked him that you have promised me that my vehicle will not have any problem in future. But again my vehicle is with you what is this? He says that I don’t know about this, I will look into this matter, and get back to you. Becoz I have fed up with all this I asked Sharat to take my vehicle back and what ever money I will get for my vehicle with that I will add some more and I will take new one. Then the great service person Sharat has given me an offer that he will pay 40,000 bugs for that vehicle. See how hurting is that situation. Sharat is one of the Partners of that Venkatesha Motors. If these kind of buggers start doing business no one will ever dares to buy anything from the market. When I heard that word 40,000 bugs I was shocked, I just felt there were tears in my eyes, how easily this bugger is hurting me. The moment I thought no other person should face this kind of problem with this kind of buggers. I just said thanks for your advice.

                              Finally on 28/12/2009 Mr.Satyanarayana has called me and said, sir your vehicle is ready you can take home. I went to the workshop and took my vehicle and felt that god everything should be fine. But that day it was fine. Next day I found that some new problem, i.e. a noise like if when Silencer breaks down and some sound like when choke is on, and the same burning smell was coming out of the engine. And the pickup of the vehicle is that worse that no one will believe that this vehicle has been serviced just now.

                              I called up Satyanarayana and asked him in the morning that what is this, you have kept the vehicle for more than 1 week what is that you people have done. I told the problem which I have faced, and even I said the same burning smell is there, he says, that particular problem is with every vehicle. Yamaha people are working on it. He said it is nothing it will be solved when you use the vehicle for few days. He says we have changed something new in that so the sound is something new. It will change when you use for few days. By saying this statement he has just cut down my phone line. I don’t know what I should do with these people. They are not even taking it serious that these many times if a vehicle is coming to the workshop then they should take it as challenging task and do it.

                              I think the total Yamaha Company is cheating the customers they are just there to make money. I don’t know what I should do with this people. The mental agony I am undergoing is not measurable. I am just fed up with this people. Can anyone help me out of this?

                              I request all the Hyderabad people not to go to this particular Venkatesha Motors which is at Rajbhavan Road Show Room. This is worst showroom I have ever seen. And especially Sharat never believe this person. What ever he says is big trash. I have never seen this type of person who cheats the customers like this. I don’t know why Yamaha company gives franchise to this kind of people. I am totally vexed with this issue, the moment when we are about to purchase the vehicle the show room person gives us 101 promises but after purchasing the vehicle never ever they keep the promises.

I spoke to the Service Engineer Mr.Satyanarayana also, asked him why this problem has occurred, He said that the mechanic has not done perfectly last time it was our fault, " It was our fault that mechanic has not done properly, this time I will personally look into this and solve it and will see that in future u will not face any kind of problem." I have again asked him to replace the vehicle. But Mr.Satyanarayana has also refused to do that.

                              Fine I told Sharat that it was my wife's gift this kind of issues are making us to face mental agony. But he is not at all bothered or took it as serious issue. Sharat says that “if you are interested get your vehicle repaired get it done or otherwise do what ever you want, I have seen many people like you. If you want to file a case you do that, I know what to do. Even I can do more; I have many big shots to solve this if it becomes that serious." If a showroom person is speaking in this way what should I do, I was helpless if I go to the court he is a popular rich person he has money he can do anything, and we don’t whether the case will be solved or not, becoz our laws are like that. The man who has money will win. I am a normal middle class person going to work and coming back in the evening. I can’t afford more expenses.

                              In this country customer doesn’t has any value. I gave the vehicle on approximate date 28.07.09 and he kept the vehicle for 1 week saying that vehicle is under observation so we are in the process we will do it. He kept the vehicle for one week. Show room people are not even informed me that when they are going to give the vehicle. Mr.Satyanarayana was saying that we will get back to you. Till 1 week I didn’t get a call. I felt these will not do anything, so I have called up to the workshop and to Sharat also, they told me u can come and take your vehicle tomorrow. Fine I went to the workshop and spoke to Sharat and Satyanarayana that if the same problem occurs what will you do, he said many times and even he has promised that at any cost, you will not have any problem with your vehicle in future. I said if the problem repeats things will not be good and you have to replace the vehicle. He said, that is impossible. First of all u will not have any problem, i[censored] face any problem we will rectify and give it but at any cost we are not going to replace the vehicle, who ever it may be. It is Yamaha company rule that we are not supposed to replace the vehicle.

                              I took the vehicle and came back I and my wife were not that happy of that new vehicle. After 3 to 4 days a new sound from the engine has started and burning smell was coming out. I took the vehicle to the Yamaha workshop mechanic, he said it is a general tapping sound, engine cannot be opened at this moment becoz it is new engine. He told me to use for 2 or 3 months after that we will rectify it and also he said that nothing is serious problem it is general. Fine I agreed to him becoz mechanic knows more than me. I went back to home. After 3 months at approx 2100 kilometers I went back to the workshop and said the taping problem is increasing then he said it is only just 2000 kilometers he asked me to come at 3000 kilometers, I think the mechanic name was Ahmed I am not that sure.

                              Fine after few days I took my vehicle on 17/12/2009 at 3000 kilometers, he said we will not do your 2 free service we will go for 3rd free service, I got angry I said that it was you who sent me back when I have come 2 times. It was your problem that u sent me back. Finally after big argument and with the help of Mr.Maruthi they took for 2nd service. I told him that tapping sound is increasing and burning smell is coming out of the engine. Fine he said we will look into this. He said he will deliver my vehicle on 18.12.09. When I went to the workshop on 18.12.09 he said your vehicle is not yet done it has some problem it is under observation. I spoke to Satyanarayana regarding the problem he said Oil was not pumping into the engine properly and some oil seal is defected. The engine temperature is also high so we kept it for observation. Satyanarayana has asked me to come on next day i.e. on 19.12.09. Fine I have called him on 19.12.09 and asked about my vehicle status, he said some Oil Seal is defected or is broken we have to get the part from the head office. It is not available in the workshop now. He said you have to wait till the part comes and it will take 2 days more. Fine I went back.

                              I was totally very disappointed with my vehicle and even Yamaha service people. There is no commitment at all; they are just making money not service. I called up Sharat on 25.12.09 and asked him that you have promised me that my vehicle will not have any problem in future. But again my vehicle is with you what is this? He says that I don’t know about this, I will look into this matter, and get back to you. Becoz I have fed up with all this I asked Sharat to take my vehicle back and what ever money I will get for my vehicle with that I will add some more and I will take new one. Then the great service person Sharat has given me an offer that he will pay 40,000 bugs for that vehicle. See how hurting is that situation. Sharat is one of the Partners of that Venkatesha Motors. If these kind of buggers start doing business no one will ever dares to buy anything from the market. When I heard that word 40,000 bugs I was shocked, I just felt there were tears in my eyes, how easily this bugger is hurting me. The moment I thought no other person should face this kind of problem with this kind of buggers. I just said thanks for your advice.

                              Finally on 28/12/2009 Mr.Satyanarayana has called me and said, sir your vehicle is ready you can take home. I went to the workshop and took my vehicle and felt that god everything should be fine. But that day it was fine. Next day I found that some new problem, i.e. a noise like if when Silencer breaks down and some sound like when choke is on, and the same burning smell was coming out of the engine. And the pickup of the vehicle is that worse that no one will believe that this vehicle has been serviced just now.

                              I called up Satyanarayana and asked him in the morning that what is this, you have kept the vehicle for more than 1 week what is that you people have done. I told the problem which I have faced, and even I said the same burning smell is there, he says, that particular problem is with every vehicle. Yamaha people are working on it. He said it is nothing it will be solved when you use the vehicle for few days. He says we have changed something new in that so the sound is something new. It will change when you use for few days. By saying this statement he has just cut down my phone line. I don’t know what I should do with these people. They are not even taking it serious that these many times if a vehicle is coming to the workshop then they should take it as challenging task and do it.

                              I think the total Yamaha Company is cheating the customers they are just there to make money. I don’t know what I should do with this people. The mental agony I am undergoing is not measurable. I am just fed up with this people. Can anyone help me out of this?

                              I request all the Hyderabad people not to go to this particular Venkatesha Motors which is at Rajbhavan Road Show Room. This is worst showroom I have ever seen. And especially Sharat never believe this person. What ever he says is big trash. I have never seen this type of person who cheats the customers like this. I don’t know why Yamaha company gives franchise to this kind of people. I am totally vexed with this issue, the moment when we are about to purchase the vehicle the show room person gives us 101 promises but after purchasing the vehicle never ever they keep the promises.

                              Im very disturbed with your situation and the torture you have gone through, because i have gone through the same torture buy buying a YAMAHA bike...
                              Even i am from a mlower-middle class family and cannot afford such prolems and expences but i have got my MONEY BACK after bringing HELL to their SHOWROOM...
                              Please draft and print a formal letter to YAMAHA Head Office and send it buy REGISTERED POST. Refer to Motor Vehicle Act of 1986 and inform them that if you want ur entire amount REFUNDED, because NO motor vehicle company will REPLACE the vehicle but they WILL REFUND you the amount.
                              And the malpractice of SELLING the bike to the showroom delaer for 40, 000 will be HIS profit as that vehicle will be used as a TEST RIDE vehicle and will not be accepted by the company, he is doing a malpratice technique, please do not encourage such things.
                              Draft all your problems in a chronogical order and send it by REGISTERED POST from your POST OFFICE and wait for 15 Days.
                              Also acquire the contact no. of your nearest consumer court adviser and take guidelines, he will tell you the entire procedure including the one that i have spoke about.
                              NO MATTER who that dealer is or how ever RICH he is its your money and you will get justice...
                              Put them in the CONSUMERCOURT and sue them for MENTAL HARRASMENT and TORTURE.
                              You alone will be victorious.
                              Its never too late to get justice.
                              Im narrating to you all these steps because i have faced this problem not ONCE but TWICE and hence im very well acquainted wit the malpractices performed buy many bike manufacturers.

                              I'm also having such problems.. but not severe as yours, but i' ve noticed one thing that, these Yamaha service providing people are well trained and knows how to tackle the customers,
                              once i was 4 or 5 days late to give the bike for the 3rd free service then the service manger told me that "you are late for availing 3rd service we can only do 4th", I asked them why they are skipping the service by the name of 4 or 5 days.
                              then manager told me that they cant enter the info about my bike into the system (system wont take ). Then unknowingly i agreed for his comments and gave the bike for the 4th free service. but i told him please do the needful service on the bike no matter how much cost it takes, i asked him to replace the needed components and he estimated around 1600 something.

                              the complaints i told him was ( a weird noise from rear while riding (not brakes), gear shifting difficulty, engine noise, over heat(after running couple of Km) low pick up, and clutch. i also asked him to change the clutch plates if needed. ultimately i wanted my bike in good condition. he agreed for that and i went back to my office.

                              in the evening i went at service center for the bike. and the manager asked me to pay the bill. The bill was only 500rs.. i asked him why its too low, because he estimated me around 1600. i asked him for explanation. he told all the problem was because of the "air filter", he cleaned it up and everything is ok.and he only changed the engine oil and my bike was ready to go. "ALL THE PROBLEMS I TOLD HIM WAS BECAUSE OF AIRFILTER" . then i asked him if the problems persists what should i do. he told me to bring back the bike that they can sort it out, he was like compelling me to take my bike and leave the place since it was their closing time 6.45pm. and i left there for the day.

                              The problems was still on my bike and i again went back to the same service center. that manager went for leave, but his subordinate took bike from me and i compelled him to replace the things to be changed(brake pads, gear shiftor ), later i charged (labor charges) for the replacements they have done.

                              I finally understood that free service means some procedure of cleaning the dust on the bike. According to the money we are giving they'll take it serious. and you must be a mechanic to keep your bike in good shape. And i read in the manual that " if we miss one service we are not eligible of any warranty of Yamaha". so i'm completely pissed off..

                              "did i pay for the product & after service?"

                              still having over heated engine, noise from rear, clutch gear problem.( i came to know these are common prob for Yamaha FZ16, but i'm researching for the remedy, i cant depend on the service centers anymore).

                                During driving my bike(enticer)chases broked i went to yamaha service center in srinagar(j&k).Manager service told me right now enticer chases is availiabe we have to order chases from yamaha company. you have to deposit advance atleast one thousand rupees & your bike. we give it back within one week now two month gone.Manager told me that company have not send chases we cannot do nothing. Take your money & bike back

                                  i have purchased a Yamaha FZ-16 from J M Motors, NOIDA sec 10 a YAMAHA Dealer on 6th of dec, 2009. they assured me to give the registration number by 15th of dec. but one(01) month had passed on and i haven't recieved the number yet. it is not possible for me to ride the bike with temporary number any more because i have already paid a lot of challans regarding the registration in delhi. i am really fade up with there service.

                                    i purchased yamaha limited edition fazer on 28/10/09 from venkatesha motors hyderabad. & chasis number is me145s[protected] & engine number 45s3002211.when i gave it for 1st service on 26/11/09 in vijayawada, i complained about the fork screw & and they said there is a manufacture defect and they had placed an order for the spare to replace it...and it will be replaced with in 15 days.recently i went there to enquire about the spare they said that they did not place any order till now and it will take another one month to change the part.i was feeling shoulder pain & back pain due this problem and not able to use my bike..this service centre is under good will agencies vijayawada...
                                    and due to this fork problem the front tyre slipped and fell down while riding the bike and the plastic dome has been damaged and who will pay me for that damage...and hav not been using the bike after bike slipped and the 2 year waranty given by the company is wasted for 2 months due to your delay..and i have attached the pics of the damaged parts
                                    1.the fork is opened by hitting the top witha hammer and u can see the dup

                                        1. i purchased yamaha FZ16 from pune one year back.

                                        2. i an not satisfied with services they provide at the service centre, they dont listen to us, dont allow to go near the bike when service is being done. they tell us to wait outside and i dont know what service they do, such service that,sometimes they forget to clean spark plug, bike is not washed ,no oiling( reason...they dont have the oil) that too so often...and so goes the list.

                                        3. and thats not the end of it bikes rear tyre had got flattened so may times that i had stopped counting, the cracks are easily available on the surface...and their answer is " its not their matter", so where should i go??

                                        4. the speedometer is not working properly, sorry its not working at all, i am still waiting for the replacement.

                                        For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm
                                        even i m the proud owner of FZ and we all know the quality of the bike. this is all because of negligence from company and our service stations. if YAHAMA INDIA is not looking into FZ's matter then i think we should all sue the company together because fighting alone with INDIA's LAW AND ORDER will never achieve anything. even i m facing problems like engine noise, rear tyre flattering, poor servicing, dead fuel meter .etc.
                                        if its about complaining then we all should complain it all together to YAMAHA INDIA
