I am a solid lover of my Yamaha bike and value my bike very much. I have ridden my bike 3 times from Chennai to Trivandrum without even a single hiccup and high efficiency. But every time I give my bike for service to Paras Yamaha service, something or the other happens.

All the 4 times, The bike is delivered late. A matter of hours is ok. But days?? Moreover after service the bike shows serious problems in front fork if I have changed fork oil. The worst part is the customer handling. The fellow dealing with customers in the past had a strategy of shouting and then running inside the workshop to avoid complaining customers.

Their sole approach is that - "We are gods, due to our brand names. You are a worm. Take it or leave it. We really don't care". I have started to loose my trust in Yamaha service which was created in me by Muthoot yamaha, Trivandrum and Hilton yamaha, Trivandrum. Man, their service is excellent. They call you to inform the exact problem if any and even apologizes for delays due to rush or problems in bike. I even had an experience of quicker delivery because of my request due to an emergency.

Hope something happens on this.

i'm a owner of fz16 and it has started giving me problems.. The battery of the bike becomes dead even if the bike remains standing for an hour as a result it does not take self start. The bike does not have kick start option so I've to start it manually moreover when i complained in the service center they did not took the complaint seriously, now ive to rush to service center every day with no positive results today it has been the 5th day since the problem occurred.. plz help me out

i want that some strict action takes place.

so now days i am living in delhi and there is some problem in the engine with volves, but the dealer here in new delhi they are saying the extended warenty can only be proivded by the dealer from where you buy the bike, if the things will go in same way than i have to take some legal action against yamaha and go in consumer forum. I Nishant singh is a owner of Yamaha R15 and I am quite satisfied with performance of the bike and i have also done lot of long journeys on it and now my bike has done 14000kms, Now i am finding some odd sound from the engine and today when I went to the service center here in Varanasi aggarwal automobiles Varanasi(service dealers code 919, contact no[protected], 2221442) where they didn't checked the vehicle even and said that when so ever engineer will visit it will be checked and when I asked them that should i ride the bike like this only then he said thats up to your wish, I have been owning Yamaha for last 8 years I have diffrent good bikes from you all like Rd350, rx 100, Rxz and R15,
This not the first time that they have been Behaving like this, they never take any care the bikes in any way we now have 3 R15 in our family and we all are realy suffering after bying this bike due to service back up you all have, My bike detail is Registration no UP65AN3136, owners name Abhay Singh.

I have a yamaha r15 and last some days back i also posted a complaint regarding the odd engine sound and rear suspension and I even got a call from you all and that was realy nice and then i got my bike checked at the service station in varanasi where i bought the vehicle too thats agarwal automobiles varanasi ( code 919) where mr shukla got the bike opened up from the clutch side and saw the clear play in the clutch bell and he also checked the rear suspension and said its also gone, so i asked him to replace the worn out parts then he replied that he cant do it as the engineer is not present today and when so ever he will come then only the bike will be repaired this happened a month ago and till today i am waiting for the engineer,

i was bought fz16 at raj Yamaha in adayar, Chennai
they delivered at 11.01.2010 from that day i ride my bike i found problems seat not locking, bike didn't reach top speed 109 only mileage its giving40 but worst pick up first service they didn't cure that problem second service after 20 days i was gave them still they didn't rectify service center at Duraipakkam near DB Jain coll OMR still 'm having problem very rubbish
this is rajamanickam v from tamil nadu 3 weeks ago i bought your yamaha g5 es from erode main dealer supreme motors . at time of delivery the battery in the bike was very weak and the dealer temporarily arranged another one and put the newer one for recharge . and still that new battery after recharge it is very very bad in condition not working properly . this is not the first time i am encountering this proplem this is the same with my earlier g5 i hsd during 2006 this time i very much disappointed is this yamaha?now iam advicing my friends not to go g5. as a yamaha lover i am feeeling very bad

This is how motorcycle service should be. I drop off my bike, they fix it. Normally a one day turn around. They are nice, and take a few minutes to chat about your bike, or motorcycling in general. Most importantly, they fix your bike right, the first time. I've purchased both new bikes here, and have been happy with the deal & the service after the sale. Also a good place to come by and view the latest models at Raj Yamaha.

yamaha (gladiator-bike) — Complaint regarding the extended service

Hello sir/Madam,

I had bought Yamaha Gladiator DLX on 31-jan-2007 from JINDER YAMAHA (Saraswati vihar,pitam pura,Delhi). During the purchase i was offered a scheme from YAMAHA which named as protection plus and ensured a extended service to my bike on payment of a fee. I took that scheme keeping in mind that i would keep my bike fit for road. From then i had serviced my bike regularly as said in the service book and now when i have reached the extended warranty period the workshop manager is denying the profits of the scheme which says that i would get a free service on 2 paid services. I had spoken to the manager of JINDER YAMAHA where he is absolutely clueless and transfered my call to sales manager where he too was unaware of the scheme.
As i am really very shocked that such a big and a reputed company like this is making fool of customers. Just to increase sales and attracting the customers and making is just not fair.

Hi, I too agree on this. On 23rd of july i bought one yamaha YBR from thier showroom. The person who takes care of showroom asked for 47, 500 and i have given in full cash. He said exshowroom price is Rs.40, 950, Insurance is Rs. 1152, Life tax is Rs.4850+ Accessories worth Rs.400 . all together comes around Rs.47, 500, when i went to take delivery of my bike the tank cover is wrinkled and it is not fitted properly, immediatly and removed the tank cover and given to the showroom boy, due to urgent i took the bike and went away. after couple of days i called them for the papers they said it will take some time. In the mean while i found there are lot of difference in the price. The insurance premium they paid only 972.00 for which they collect Rs.1152, then life tax is 3, 280 for which they charged me Rs. 4850 and the accessories is not at all worth and i heard some accessories that inclusive of price. when i asked about all these there is no response from the showroom person. Then i called yamaha direct person. He just shouted those persons. thats all he did. in the mean while my R.C papers came from the R.T.O office. I went to the showroom to collect the same, after collection of my papers i calculate the hole amount in front of the showroom person. He said some bla bla blas and i am not satisfied with his reply and asked him to show the correct calculation, but he can't. I got angried and shout in the same showroom. i said i will go to consumer court if you fails to produce the accounts properly. this had happened on 07.09.2010 ( tuesday) evening. no one turned up when i am shouting at office. very very very pooooooor poor poor service at paras yamaha mount road branch.
Only one guy attent properly.His name is uday. I must thank him for his service

Dear SIr,

I would like to register a complaint on the yamaha service center placed at T Nagar affliated to Jains Motors.

I bought a New Yamaha R15 (Black) on[protected] and met with an accident on[protected]. I provided my bike in the service center on[protected] for amending the damaged parts.
I was advised on the process and they said that it will take some 10 days to get the bike ready.

I submitted the file for insurance and they came to visit the bike the next week which is on[protected]. Till now my bike is not ready and still they have not even touched my bike.

Complaint:

They do not treat me well when i query on the status and give me some reasons and postpone the delivery of the bike.
Its been a month since i provided my bike to them but till date they have not touched my bike.
They always say that the insurance guys are yet to come and telling some reasons.

Can you please take action on the service manager and help me to get my bike again. I am totally dejected due to my bike accident and these things make it more worse.

hello, my name is yasir from bhatkal m your old customer.. this is my 4th bike from yamaha company..right now m having R15.. my battery is giving trouble.. i charged it thrice bt still same condition.. to start my bike i hav to push it.. jus to solve my prob i went to mangalore they told it will take more than 20 days.. whats the use of taking so costly bike when u cant keep products m highly dissatisfied with u.. i called to main dealer even they r not giving proper response... m not satisfied with 2nd service too.. my bike has lots of problem hope u will solve..

I am P.Senthil Kumar . I had bought a yamaha bike from Alagendra Tractor Agencies, Madurai. FZS, Vehicle No TN.58 U 9400 At 9/2009 . After doing my regular service at Alagendra Tractor Agencies (Authorized yamaha dealer), In my 6 service i reported them that a strange noise is coming from my bike engine.But they did not resoponse for it and they told that the noise is coming from valve. Because of these reasons and the delers' assultness and irrespective nature, Now the engine has been spoiled.


Now i asked him to rectify the problem. The dealer told that he is not responsible for the problem and he told he cannot do anything and no proper response from the dealer. He is not ready to hear anything from myside. He also told that it is manufacturing defect and he is asking me to report the higher authorities (Yamaha Motors).


As per sales agreement i have two years or upto 50, 000 km warranty for the bike. One year has been completed and i have 10000+ running km. So i need the engine problem to rectified by the dealer or i need a new bike as a replacement.Could you look into the matter and do the needful. If no further response is coming from you, i may need to take action by leagl methods. Hope you understand my problem . Waiting for your reply.
I totally agree to the previous post.. I bought my bike from Paras yamaha and was very much satisfied with it. but it dint lasted only till the free service offered by the company. My bike(gladiator ss) is only two years old and i've changed my air filter, rear wheel's bearing and now my chain sprocket needs a change. I am not a rash driver too and i use it only within the city. Does this mean that the quality of yamaha parts is poor. And regarding the service with paras, i gave my bike for service and had it back with no change. There was a dire need of cleaning the carburettor which was never done inspite of giving it more than three times. Their attitude is that they have too many new bikes to attend and their attitude towards customers is so cheap. Is this all about the so called Yamaha's worth? Unless this condition changes Yamaha is soon to face a setback from the market.. Not to blame the technology..But who needs a technology if its of not great use after a while.
i am althaf from trichy i got a minor accident in my yamaha fazer tn65-y1496. i leave my bike in yamaha dealer in trichy(ss agencies) before a month but they yet not delivered my bike, i force the dealer to deliver but they shouted me and asked me to out and to complaint to customer care and also broken my headlight doom please take necessary action to recover my bike
of course i see a much better, 100 times better service from hero honda and tvs more than from yamaha... especially the paras yamaha showroom in chennai, they have a bad attitude, and i've been waiting 4 weeks past my delivery date for my bike, and still it has'nt even been cleared they say.

I have bought Yamaha Ray from Paras Yamaha on 16th May from Paras Yamaha. I was taken by suprise when i got the vehicle the same day and they said the vehilce will be registered in a couple of days. Post that i have been following up with the sales guy and till today, teh vehile has not been registered (hopefully, it gets registered today !!). In fact, they have not even given me the Invoice copy. I have taken the vehicle on exchange and they are yet to get me the forms as well. Very worst service i have ever seen. I would strongly suggest not to go with Paras Yamaha and such dealers, spoil the reputation of Yamaha.
They have changed my bike tyre which i too too old one when i left bike for service

I hav purchased bike on 16th Aug.2014, and my bike battery is dead, after first Service...now i dont know wat to do... servie is not gud with yamaha..

    I purchased a Yamaha FZ16 with Venkatesha Motors, #6-3-1090/A/24, Olbee Center Raj Bhavan Road Somajiguda Hyderabad -500082 in the month of October 2008.
    I was very impressed with the bike for my first 3 months and 2 services with them.
    Later i have noticed that there was a serious problem with the front SHOCK-ABSORBERS(oil leakage)and requested for a check up. Initially they said it was a problem with OIL-Seals and that was replaced under warranty.
    I still faced the same problem after a week and went again for a check-up and this time they came with a different story and said something has to be changed and it will take 15 days to get the stock as it was ready. I waited for 15 days and still the same problem with them. I need help on this.

    Above all the servicing is so worst with them that "I also have a problem with my bike which actaully turns off every now and then unless i continously give acceleration to it", they said it will be rectified in my first service which didnt happen. Yet another time i told them i have a problem and they said it will be a problem with the SPARK PLUG and it will be replace in the 2nd service and that too didnt happen and i am still facing the same problem.

    "I get a feeling that i am not driving a NEW YAMAHA FZ16 but a very old 2nd hand vechile"

    "I am sorry YAMAHA and Venkateswara motors this was never expected" I am totally unhappy.

      I have given my bike to ORION- Motors, Bangalore(Near forum mall) on 4-april-2009 for normal servicing. I have taken back my bike on the same day.on the same day evening i have noticed that horn and head lights are not functioning. I have taken my bike to My Mechanic. He checked and told me that there is no battery in the bike.As i was busy with my work, after 3 days, i went to the showroom and asked about my battery.They said that, manager is not there, please come afterwards. 3 times i went there they said the same thing. after all on 6-may-2009, i am able to meet the manager SETHURAM.I him told him the whole story about the battery. He checked the bill and said it is not possible to trace your battery because it is already 1 month over.
      Simply the story is 'Battery has been stolen In the showroom and no one is responsible for it including the manager SETHURAM'.
      So what should i do? i will give a complaint in nearest police station if this complaint did not work.

      you should have done some sort of damage to that showroom i know tht i am sounding a bit immature but i, ve gone through the same thing with the head lights and they dont even bother answering the questions that we ask and bring in the old parts or the damaged parts and show it as the defective parts from our bike

        YAMAHA,

        I AM ONE OF YOUR CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT YAMAHA-R15 IN THE MONTH OF 5-10-08, AND ITS BEEN 1 AND A HALF MONTH I AM FACING PROBLEM, AND ON TOP OF THAT LOCAL SERVICE STATION PEOPLE ARE UNABLE TO CATCH THE PROBLEM.

        PROBLEM:

        WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN DIRECT SUN FOR MORE THAN HOURS THEN THERE IS A STARTING PROBLEM, AND VEHICLE DOESNT START AT ALL, IT TAKES MORE THAN A DAY FOR A VEHICLE TO START, I WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGH WAY FOR MORE THAN HOURS FOR MY BIKE TO START. I ALSO CONSULTED THE LOCAL SERVICE PERSON FOR THE SAME THEY TOO WERE AMAZED TO SEE SUCH KIND OF A PROBLEM. AFTER THEY DID SERVICING TO MY VEHICLE THEY STATED THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED BUT AGAIN IN 15DAYS THE PROBLEM HAS OCCURED AGAIN.
        ITS BEEN 6TH TIME THE SAME FAULT HAS OCCURED.

        I AM AMAZED TO SEE THAT A COMPANY WHICH IS KNOWN FOR TECHNOLOGY, THEIR PRODUCT IS JUST A WASTE. A HI-TECH VEHICLE GIVING SUCH KIND OF A PROBLEM IS A BIG QUESTION MARK ON COMPANY YAMAHA.

        I REQUEST YOU PEOPLE TO EITHER REOLVE MY VEHICLE ISSUE OR CHANGE THE VEHICLE FOR THE ABOVE REASONS WITHIN 15 DAYS OR I WOULD BE APPROACHING CONSUMER FORUM ON LEGAL GROUNDS.

        sir i had given my bike to yamaha sunrise automobile pnp to repair it . i had taken claim for my bike .
        but they had took 7 days to repair and still they are saying that one part is missing we have yo order in company and then they ill send the part sir what iis this?
        and my bike is missing st 2 gear ihad complaint them in my previous free servise but they are not able to repair it perfectly

          I bought a Yamaha R15 on 13th august 2008...i was advised to get the Tiped setting done when i complete 5000km...i went as per the procedures...at around 6500km again there was Tiped sound and again they advised me to get the setting done...Yesterday (11/05/2009) i took my bike for the 5th service and they advised me the same thing again as there was noise out of it...it has been only 9 months and i had to get the Tiped setting 3 times but still the problem is not rectified...hoping to get a positive response from your side...

            Dear all,

            This is to inform you (Aurangabad People) that the Vinay motors a Yamaha Service Center & Dealer is providing a very bad service. Everybody has got the free service coupons in there Bike manuals. Please read the 23 operations which are to be done or looked at during every service. And when asked about it the person doing the servicing don't even know what are the operations to be done during every service. Also when asked about the technical head, they say that he is on holiday. When asked for tyre run out problem, The new machine for repairing the tyre run out is also not functioning & anyone does't know how to operate it. Seriously, this wasn't at all expected from a YAMAHA.

            i leave in ratnagiri.i have fz16 red colour bike. i ordered break paddle by last 1 month but i don't get this.what i do???????????????????
            Dear Friends,

            I too have also observed improper ie. bad service of vinay motor, not only once but every time after servicing. These people are quite confident that they can fool the customer, also sometimes I've seen that they just wash the bike, apply greace on some parts and their job is done. Friends I am thinking of doing some task against them, and for this purpose I some of you people with me so that we can file a complain against Vinay Motors in consumer court.

              This is with reference to the complaint I had sent on April 16th regarding a defect in my bike Yamaha Libero G5 dated June 12, 2006.

              I had reported about the perennial oil leakage problem in my bike. The issue was followed up by Ramchand from Yamaha Bangalore and I took my vehicle to Pacer Yamaha Bangalore on April 29th 2009. As always the service engineer took 2 days to fix this (said bore problem) and delivered the vehicle back to me on April 30th. Within 3 days I experienced massive oil leakage from the vehicle again. I have left the bike now in Pacer and now they identify the problem as defective engine case.

              Tthe service engineer in Pacer Yamaha says the warranty period for the vehicle is lapsed and they can't repair it under warranty. I had reported this leakage problem from the very next month of the vehicle purchase. All the free and paid services were done either in Orion or Pacer Yamaha, Bangalore.

              This so called engine was opened in Orion Yamaha Bangalore and Pacer Yamaha to fix the leakage issue during the paid and free services of warranty period. And it made the problem only worse. Inspite of the repeated reports they only bothered bothered to was the bike and deliver it back without fixing the problem. And the prblem now has been carried forward beyond the warranty period.

              I request you to find a permanent solution to my problem at the earliest. I have spend a huge amount of my time and my money to fix this issue. This is the one last time I'm gonna leave it in the service centre and I'm definitely going to move legally with all the evidences I have. I definitely need to get away with this migraine which has been troubling me for the past 34 months.

              I have starting problem in the every morning time and also engine noise is veyr high. i have paid biger amount in the every month service.Millege very low 40kms per lte and pickup is very low.Totaly iam much disappionted with your vechile and Local dealer ( Solamalai Auoto Mobiles p ltd, Madurai, tamilnadu) service is very worst.                 Sir, I had purchased a Yamaha Bike Model No.Gladiator RS bearing Regd. No.DL3SBB6308 in March 2008 from Adhichini Branch, New Delhi of esteemed Yamaha enterprises.
                On 03.05.09 (Sunday) at about 1240 noon, I approached to the aforesaid Adhichini branch for some problems in my yamaha bike like engine start missing, CDI related and service reg. I requested the above problems vide Job Card No.583. They told to wait for 4-5 hours for the same. OK, but i want to see what repairs will be made by the techinicians of Yamaha to my bike at their stipulated time. But the Manger Supreet and Aslam of the aforesaid branch told that NONE IS AUTHORISED TO SEE THE REPARING WORK OF TECHINICIANS AT THE WORK SHOP OF AFORESAID YAMAHA BRANCH. only bike owners have to wait outside the work shop and we cannot see, what the techinicians are doing with our bike, only changing the oil or handing over to the owner or replacing the valuable components of the bike by old one. I requested several time to the officials of that branch to allow us to see the job at Work shop but they are admanent and said that "bike service karwani hai to kara nahi to ja" Thereafter, I returned to residence without repairing from the aforesaid branch of Yamaha enterprises.
                Sir, plz do the needful so that consumer of yamaha can see the development of their bikes at the workshop of Adhichini Branch of Yamaha and satifisfied with the work.

                  I have purchased my motor bike YAMAHA GLADIATOR MOTORCYCLE from M/s Swastik Sales Enterprises, raipur on dated 21/02/08.

                  As per gurantee cover by the company is battery, tyre etc upto one year. sorry to say that before completing one year my battery is not properly working (not in service).
                  For the same when i contact to Exide battery dealer at allahabad he deny to give new battery according to him battery is out of warranty which Exide company gives to Yamaha. He has cheked my battery and filled remarks in battery warranty card.

                    I had bought yamaha R15, 6 months back. The company is offering a poor service. just in 5000kms, they said "rear discs are worn out, and need to be replaced". The radiator part is just vibrating and making noise. Already the rear tyres were air leaking when i bought them, later the replaced tyres were also so poor. After every service the bike was not smooth at all, i doubt whether really they're replacing Oil, coolant and necessary service or Just a MERE WATER WASH. IF this is the case, i need to replace disc brakes, radiators, rear tyres, etc etc for every 6months. I'm really Unsatisfied. Within 6 months these many problems.They are charging more than RS.1, 00, 000 for the bike, but is it really worth with these many problems. The company has responsibility to provide good service to the customers. THEY MUST PROVIDE GOOD VALUE FOR THE BIKE IF THEY COST IT MORE THAN 1, 00, 000. I really wish to get good response from company side.

When checked with the service technician, they say the braking bads worn out and need to be replaced. It cost around Rs.2000/- Very poor quality

                    yamaha R15 — Poor Service

                    Sir I am having a Yahama R15 bike. Its almost a year i bought that bike. they said that i will have first six free service but when i went there they asked to pay Rs.700 for free service and not only that everytime i put my bike for service specially at adyar branch(chennai) ,they dont service it properly. they make a huge bill for the service but no proper service. The Head of that service centre seems to concentrate on earning than providing a better service. Few days before i lost the screws used to tight the keylock.I went there,they just used two screws to tight the lock but the bill was Rs.24 for the screws and Rs.40 for labour charge and they never washed my bike everytime i left my bike there. Have they decided just to earn from us. Many of my friends have same complaint like this.

                        I have purchased Yamaha FZ from VENKATESHA motors, somajiguda, Hyderabad.
                        This is the worst showroom I have ever saw in my exp of three bikes till now.
                        I met with an accident on FZ and injured myself and bike got damaged...
                        One month over, I got cured myself but my bike is not yet repaired, they say's some parts are yet to come...Are they getting the parts from Japan ?
                        Do not ask me about the customer care in that showroom, its the worst thing there...
                        Beware or Mr.Sharad - Manager of the showroom, , , , he sucks...I really hate it and got frustrated when ever I went there to see my bike's status...

                        when bike is on move suddenly its stop for a second and it runs again as usual which is really dangers, I have informed this many time to ur dealers every service they tell me next time u will not have this problem again the problem continues second service i gave on 20-03-09 the problem is not solved same answer next time u will not have this problem but problem continues and third service i gave them on 30-05-09 in between i met them many times and problem still continues fourth service on 10-08-09, 5th on 20-10-09, 6th on 30-12-09 in between this i spoke to Mr.Haridass Sir he personally came and saw the problem and told me that it will be ratified earliest on 3rd service at srinivas motors as informed by Mr.Haridass Sir, after 3rd service i have spent so much as told by ur dealers first time they told me i[censored] change to new oil which will be little expensive ur bike will be all right but it didn't and second time some screw third time some pin and kept charging me even at free service i had been paying i thought now it will alright but things never changed that the reason i am sending u such long email hope u will understand my problem and retify the same earliest,
                        I forgot to inform u i am very old customer of yamaha motos first bike of my life was yamaha rx-100 i still have that my bike no is py-o1-c-6982 purchased on 1994 engine no ili-453081 chassis no ili-453081 h 94.

                        I too bought my bike from Venkatesha motors somajiguda Hyderabad.They are shameless cheaters .They will not change the oil or they will change only half and charge you for full .They are giving hand written bill after service .So they can charge as per their wish.

                          We have purchase our bike YAMAHA R15 (MH-12 EZ 61) in oct 08 from YAMAHA RIDERS CAMP PUNE. From the time of 1st service we were telling them that our bike is skiting continuesly & they didnt solve the problem in 3 services. When my brother was driving bike his bike skit on a normal road not even used the right break then also it got skit n got stiches on hand.Then we spoke to the engineer who used to service our vehilce in YAMAHA RIDERS CAMP PUNE he told us that our break shoe has to be change & it will cost us around Rs-1500 to change that part & they are not talking with us properly they are saying do what ever you want. That means we are wasted our money Rs 109900 on this bike.
                          Now my question is that why should i have to pay money when i told that the bike is having problem from the day i have purchase it.If the company is not going to change the part without any cost then we have to take a legal action for the same.

                          I am having R15. It is just one month old.
                          Just after 5 days it starts giving problem.
                          Earlier some tic tic sound was coming continuously from my bike. I went to service center 4 times but they are unable to solve finally they did servicing. After 20 days of servicing again some sound starts coming . Its like it is touching something. Whenever i accelerate it came. If i take clutch or dont accelerate, that sound won't come.
                          i havenot get indicator of r15...this is very disgusting...

                          .I have kicked if pulsar 220 and apache rtr no doubt and its a shame coz apache is 180 cc and pulsar being 220 still cannot catch up with the R15.and abt the tyres its designed for the bike by the best engineers kaaping in mind the stability and control and is well suited for indian roads if rode the RTR or the Pulsar 220 the way i ride my R15 i would had to scrap the bike and the third graded engines these stupid bajaj engineers come up wid.so there are somebad apples out there cant helpthat even happens with companys clike ferrari and mclaren its a michine so i[censored] dont know how to handle take a bus or walk home jackasses.

                            My name is fahad my bike is yamaha fz-16purchased 4 months back...i dont know how my starter carbon got burnt...ive sent it to lucas people who manufactures yamaha starters and give warranty of it, they assured me of new starter..and took my starter...its since 12 days my i havent received my starter...my bike is standing from last 15 days...im very upset with the service that yamaha is giving..i fear this will make a big issue in market...my bike no is MH03-AQ-9566 my starter has been sent to lucas office in mulund they have sent it to worli lucas office..as im facing very problem by not having bike, ..i want my starter to be received by tomorrow the lucas people in mulund and in worli are telling that starter will b received withi 3 to 4 days but now it has been 12 days...please look into the matter immediately, ...and please sort it out quickly i want my starter to be received by tomorrow..I DONT EXPECT THIS FROM SUCH A BIG COMPANY...PLEASE `Thank you

                              I bought R15 in 30 september 2008, on 28th march 2009 i went for 3rd service. i complaint the service adviser about bad horn and bettery, also rear tyre puncture which was difficult to locate.
                              service advisor Mr.Rafiq told me to collect bike at 5.30pm at evening on the same day(28th march 2009).
                              i went at around 6.00pm bike was not even washed niether my complaints.
                              engineer repaired horn after i shouted on him. they didn't even inform me about break pad which was 90%worn-out. nor my tyre problem was even looked.
                              when i started complaining they checked and solved my horn tunning.
                              for changing break pad i have visit again and waste another 3-4 hours.
                              from there i called up MRF tyre enginner Mr kamal who's mobile no. was provided by service executive of yamaha, Mr.kamal told me to visit him on 1 st april (after3 days) at sakinaka Andheri. which is 20-30km far from my residance. i have to visit him with my punctured tyre. yamaha servce executive agreed that tyre has a manufacturing defect and not any accidental damage.

                              buying a yamaha bike is to get 'FOOL'
                              i want to complain to yamaha motors, " if we are purchasing bike from yamaha motors paying full money then do we have go n find ther suppliers to solve defects?

                              I have been servicing my R15 for the past 6 months.I got about 130kmph top speed. But my vehicle is not exceeding the speed of 110kmph. I need to get my vehicle repaired and get my first top speed of atleast 130kmph.As the company is offering a speed of 140kmph of top speed I should get repaired as soon as possible.Kindly do what ever possible.

                              i went at around 6.00pm bike was not even washed niether my complaints.
                              engineer after i shouted on him. they dont knw how to repire R15 .
                              when i started complaining they checked and solved little bit i have visit again and waste another 3-4 hours.

                              i am sufffering the same as my friends, though i own an old fazer 125 cc but my other 2 friends on my recomendation bought gladitor and the other bought fz16. due to service problems we are either forced to
                              do it ourselves or we cover more kmss then recommended without servicing or at last we have to go for the local shops .i dont know about other states we are facing it since 4 to 3 years back when i bought my first yamaha in ranchi (jharkhand) and now most o[censored]s seriously forced to think seriously to back out on yamaha its really torturingggggggggg.

                              I bought r15 from psn yamaha cochin, kerala.Recently my bike met with an accident and front right foot rest v-shaped bracket[20pf744300.bracket 3]got damaged.Im strugling for more than 15 days to get one.No dealer in the whole district has the spare.I also went to trichur and alleppy to get one.But i didnt get.Please do arrange me the spare within 2-3 days so i could use my bike.

                              bought R15 in 14 feb 2010, on 25 march 2011 i went for 3rd service. i complaint the service adviser about bad bikes taped, also rear tyre puncture which was difficult to locate.

                              i went at around 6.00pm bike was not even washed niether my complaints.

                                I bought bike YAMAHA FZ 16 on Dec 12 '2008, initially I had no Problem with the bike. After my Second serving with Hassan Motor, Goa I started getting Problems with The bike Starter, I Explained the problem and gave it again to yamaha service centre i.e Hassan Motor, Goa.They calamed that the battery is defect and they cannot replace it. I have the Battery warranty Card which declares a one year
                                warranty but the delear are not having any branches of the battery in Goa so not replacing the battery, due to this i had to Replace the battery on my cost.

                                Kindly check you battery of the bike and hope the battery are of a proper Maker .

                                Even i am facing the same issue. What makes it ironical is that i too am facing right after my second servicing. Fortunately, the battery guys are in Vashi, which is nearby for me, so what battery did you go for? How Much did it cost? any issues after replacing the battery??

                                I am also facing the same issue with my bike, initially i had starting problems, but later it worked well, but now after second service, my bike is not switching on, For starting the engine, I will have to put it in second gear then push the bike and leave the clutch.

                                Now i will have to go back to the showroom and see how they respond.

                                How much did you pay for your new battery? and what make it is..
                                Hiii guys i bought bike YAMAHA FZ on 19th of June'2009, initially I had found Problem with the bike. Before my first serving with Pick up wheels, Gurgaon, I started getting Problems with The bike Starter. I Explained the problem and gave it again to yamaha service centre i.e Pickup yamaha, Gurgaon.I have gone to the service centre 3 times but the same problem again and again after charging the battery also the same thing is happening. I have the Battery warranty Card which Still i didnt found the dealer to say to replace the same one.i need the battery to be changed as soon as possible.

                                U know its bugs to take the bike(Costliest one as per me) and running on it, to make it start.

                                Kindly check you battery of the bike and hope the battery are of a proper Maker .

                                Guys,

                                Starting issues all stem from Battery problem.

                                If you are facing problem with battery. there are two choices.

                                Replacement of battery under warranty OR you can get a kick installed on the bike. Please ask your Yamaha dealer. I think the installation cost around Rs 2000 for FZ-16 and FZ-S.

                                I brought the Fz16 from Yamaha showroom of Angul (Gupta Motors) Orissa. Initially i didnt have the problem but after 2nd servicing i am getting the problem regarding starting.Now it needs to push for start.As I am a employee of Private Company, I cant visit or wait for the new battery for several times . So i request to the YAMAHA Motors Company to replace my battery with in one day, Without discontinuation in my job.

                                My name is Sam from Kolkata & also hare the same issue of battery but as SETCO YAMAYA guys said I asked the dealer to install the kick option in my bike but they tol we have to do this from outside & after this they wont take any risk if the engine is hampered or damaged. Now what should I do?
                                The Yamaha SZ-X is truly a nice bike but being 150cc tere is no disc brake .Why it is like this ? Being compared to gladiator it is not having disc brake but gladiator is having being 125cc.There should be some change in style compared to gladiator and there should be digital speedometer, disc break, joint handle like R15, cover in engine like gladiator, handle side rims.I hope u will make that changes within these days?
                                There should be change in Yamaha SZ-X and it should look like Yamaha R15.That's all just make it today?

But Last night I left my bike in my home and today when I switch on the ignition the battery is empty, no power nothing. This is atrocious and my mechanic is telling that battery needs to be changed.

                                  I bought bike YAMAHA FZ 16 in january 20th, in a while my rear aloy wheel and tyre cracked, we are given to local yamaha service centre i.e Nataional motors, siliguri, west bengal, service centre agree this is manufacturing defect but company not replace on it.. or it will take long time for process... my bike now lying at service centre from 09.03.09 .. why we suffering this type of manufacturing problem .. i think company get replaced on immediate basis..

                                  plz help me out for this problem ...aloy wheel and tyre shuld replace on immediate basis

                                  my rear tyre got cracked with in two months after purchsing and i am damn sure its bcoz of the manufacturing problem will be visiting the yamaha showroom tomorrow
                                  I have bought FZ 16, in the Feb 2009. I got the similar problem, rear tyre got cracked. I am not sure what to do, should I go to yamaha dealer or should I change the tyre by myself.

                                    Its been only a week since i got my r15 ... the electronics system is not working properly from yesterday ... i turn the key on but the system is not coming up, so i am not able to use the self start ... if i turn the handle bar to the right, the electronics is coming but going away if i make the handle straight ... so i have to turn it to the right and back again to straight position before the tachometer swings back to 0 rpm as part of the startup tests ... sometimes when i am driving, the vehicle switches itself off ... fuel is not a problem as i almost always was on full tank ... when the system dies, i have to turn the key off and on, may be lock it, unlock and swing the handle bar all around before i have the system on in straight handle bar position ... with this sort of malfunction, i am not confident to take the bike out in traffic ... today is sunday, i went to the sales cum service center, it was closed ... i have to go again tomorrow and hopefully get his problem solved ...

                                    i liked everything in the r15, it is truly an amazing piece of work ... but the complete electronic reliance is something that i am going to live with, i guess ... if there is a hack that lets me start and ride the bike without the electronics, i'd really like to know ..

                                      I am Bhaskar Agarwal from Pune (Maharashtra) and I purchased a YAMAHA FZ-16 bike (Dealer: J-Williams) on 22nd Dwecember 2008.

                                      I am frustrated and irritated with this machinery! I had earlier negated the possibility of buying a Baja Pulsar or TVS apache because I am a Yamaha Fan and I blindly trusted Yamaha Technology but this has been my greatest mistake!!

                                      1. My first servicing was done at J.Williams which was an unsatisfactory service. My average has always been below 33!!! since day 1 and no seems to solve it!! Itold them about it but they kept shunning it by saying "keep riding itll jump up!" (12/01/09)

                                      2. Second service was at YAMAHA RIDERS where in Mr. Mubarak diagonised a major smoking problem. There was a LOT of white smoke coming out. They had earlier fiddled with the air-fuel screw and idle RPM (since i was irritated with the J.Williams servicing). After this the bike was constantly stopping in traffic-this problem also they did not attend to!!!
                                      For the MAJOR SMOKING, Mubarak suggested i 'flush' the engine with new petrol which I did and still nothing happened. Bike was still smoking and still average was below 33 plus was stopping in traffic. (23/02/09)

                                      3. I spoke to few other FZ riders and they advised me to go to Wakedwadi Area Office since their servicing is good and all these riders had an average of over 40 since day 1. There i met Mr.Deepak who assured me that the problem will be taken care of. I left the bike with him for 2 days (3-4 march), and when i returned he told me that the bike has to be kept under observation for 500 kms (smoking issue) and the average issue has been resolved. Also, my bike was manhandled and there were scratches on the fender (i have a a written statement of all of the above). The bike however was not stopping in traffic anymore.
                                      The very next day i checked my average and it was 30! I called him up again and he asked me to get it on monday/today (9th march) when the problem will definately be resolved. Today when i went there, some area engineer Mr. Nitin spoke to me extremely rudely and was shunning his responsibility. The dialogue was:

                                      Nitin:" what is the bike history, where ws the servicing done and what have they done?"
                                      M:"!st at J.Williams and second at Yamaha riders and i dont know what they did, so what are you goingto do?"
                                      Nitin:"Am not going to do anything..you go there nad call me up to tell me what they did."
                                      Me:"but i just drove 20 kms here with the promise of getting it fixed today!"
                                      Nitin:"Look, i cant keep repairing the bikes that others have messed up! "
                                      Me:"Please, help me out..am frustrate and tired..i dont trust others i trust you!also the average is a whopping 33!"
                                      Nitin:"I cant do anything about it! THIS BIKE IS SUPPOSED TO GIVE 35kmpl in city"
                                      Me:"i spoke to others, they are getting 42kmpl.."
                                      Nitin:"no, am the engineer am telling you"

                                      I went to Mr. Mubarak again (as Mr.Nitin gave meno other choice) and my bike was given to him and he has done nothing except 'check' the carburater and air filter, not clean..but 'check'

                                      plus the average is below 32kmpl!!!.
                                      it vibrates at high speeds (60-70kms)
                                      and the fuel indicator is not working properly

                                      I spent 73000 on a yamaha bike thinking it will be a buy of my life, this is my first bike and am so very irritated with Yamaha.

                                      I want this machinery replaced, i.e. my bike replaced with the same black Yamaha FZ-16! No less no more!!! I have spent thousands on extra petrol and rickshaw money, wasted my valuable time and am emotionally and mentally frustrated.

                                      I am a working guy, 23 yrs old and I do not deserve this!!! I am tired and irritated. If you cant solve my problem, please let me know, for then I will have to seriously consider a Consumer Court procedure.

                                      1.viration in 60-65 kmph
                                      2.accelerator cable hard
                                      3.front shocker leakage
                                      4.display cracked
                                      5.fuel guage not working
                                      6.rear tyre crack

                                      the FRONT SHOCKER LEAKAGE PROBLEM only solve the yamaha people other 5 complents it is not solve no one care to my complaint what we do? i m going to resister customer cunsumer court

                                      iam happy with my yamaha fzs machine, also iam getting 50/liter on the average speed of 40k-50k
                                      but i observed a problem of smoke from my exhaust but it happended only twise i reported this problem
                                      to yamaha guys but they told me nothing to worry about that

                                        Sir/Madam,
                                        I had purchased one Libero from "Paras yamaha, " Chennai on 12.01.2005. From my first riding itself i herd an abnormal sound from engine.(Like some loose nuts swirling inside the engine) and from my first service itsef i had informed the service person about this, and i had continued my request till date but every time they are solving the problem by some temporary sort of measure.After one or two days of each service i feel this abnormal sound.(from my first service request letter onwards you can verify these facts).I am living out of the city and it is little bit difficult for frequent visit of service station.Since the abnormal sound is there from the time of purchase, i felt that it may be due to some assembling/alignment mistakes of engine.Hence I request that the company may take necessary action to redress my grievances as early as possible without indulging more expenses to me.I am furnishing the details of my bike, below.
