Dear All Had a terrible experience with Yatra. My company had booked a ticket to Delhi for this Sunday along with a hotel combination for 3 nights at Delhi. The total price of the package was 14970/- but due to certain issue my Directors business program my travel date needs to be rescheduled. The shock came after that when called yatra they bluntly denied no rescheduling possible and also against almost 15K the refund is just meagre 3K. Booking Reference No;[protected] The terms and conditions in yatra is the worst of all. You can go through it, one point they say they can only cancel full package, the next point will say no amendments or cancellation will be possible. what a contradicting statement by them, our Carpi intends to take them on to the court since this is turned out as a corporate cheat by a a corporate cheat. My company is planning for a suit against yatra challenging their terms and conditions and their business through which they have cheated the customers all along the years Regards CARPI INDIA

    I had made booking from hyderabad to delhi for 9th of november 2014 (spice jet for Rs.3000), but due to some issues i had to shift the date to 7th nov. When i checked for the availability on 7th, i was getting the desired air fare (Air india for Rs 3000). So i cancelled my previous ticket (got 2500rs deducted out of 3000rs) and booked the ticket for 7th. Now after i have booked the tickets these guys are telling me that my ticket could not get confirmed as the airlines have raised the airfare (within 7 to 8 hours to almost Rs7000). I talked to one of the executives and he said that he could not help me out and transferred my call to senior supervisor(Mr. Nitin). This fellow did not even listen to my problem and bluntly refused.     It has been seven days now. i have not received any refund from your side (not even the ticket amount cancelled by airlines, forget about the previous problem) nor any calls regarding the issue. i am highly frustrated now. i would never recommend anyone to book any tickets from your website. You guys are FRAUD.

      Good afternoon, On Thursday, Oct 1st we arrived on an Indigo flight from Bangalore at about 9:30pm Airport, Airline, and taxi from airport was hassle free and pleasant. Check in at the Sea Face was quick and efficient too. We went out for a late dinner on Hawa beach and came back at 10:30 to tuck our two children into their A/C'd room and to have a cool night in a second room with my husband. Then we couldn't find the A/C remote in one room and then we couldn't get the other room's turned on. I went to the front desk at about 10:45 with our Yatra booking printout stating room type as standard A/C non seafacing. We are not sea facing- that is fine. We did and still do need A/C. I called Yatra and waited on hold for 60 minutes before Bedram answered and listened to my storey and put me on hold again waiting for his consent team to respond. Eventually someone else from Yatra called reception from Yatra and asked for the A/c room, but our hotel said that none were left. This likely a lie, as during my hour long wait, the reception tried to ask us multiple times for more money for A/C. The receptionist gave Yatra the number of a nearby hotel to call. At about the same time Bedram said that he promised to call in 15 minutes with an new hotel or a solution to our problem. I had already asked him when his shift ended and he said 12:30. It was 12:15 and after careful and exact questioning by Me, he confirmed verbally that he Would not go off shift until this Was solved. So I accepted the wait of 15 with the Promise of a callback. Bedram had given his extension so I tried to call it. It didn't work. I waited until 1:24 and Got not call. My children and husband had fallen asleep so I tried to sleep too with my phone in my hand. I awoke again at 6:24 and called Yatra again. The line told me that Yatra was closed from 12:30-6:30. So I waited until 6:30 and then Ritesh Took my whole story again. This time refusing to acknowledge whether it was a Yatra issue or a hotel issue, but promised that he would call back at 8:15, as the consent team didn't begin work until 8, so he would need them to help make the decision. Rajesh promised that all would be solved and that he was working until 3:30. At 9:15, I called his extension number and no one answered. I called Yatra again. This time speaking to Rohit, who recorded my whole story and then tried to say that we had booked a non-ac room. I went through all of it clearly one more time, waiting on hold two times and then on the third time and after being on the call for 30+ minutes. At this point the line was cut, maybe Yatra, maybe Rain in Kerala, I am not sure. It is now 3:15. All 3 Yatra reps have promised to call me and to help me. No one has. I am on a holiday with my family. This is our fifth time to Kovalum. I have already reviewed Yatra and the Sea face on Trip advisor. I have opened an account on mouth shut.com. I have tweeted about this problem. I have a contract with Yatra. You provide the service and I have already paid for it. I will not drop this and except a refund for this miserable experience. I will publicly review and post on many forums to get a response. I will not just accept this unprofessionalism. Please respond. Please help keep the contract that Yatra has agreed To with me. I have spent 5 of the last 14 hours trying to sort this out with Yatra. I have slept for 5 hours. I took my kids to the beach and pool for 4 hours.         I booked a flight from Kolkata to Delhi on 27 SEP 2014 and its was a refundable flight but after booking the ticket, it showed non-refundable and I suddenly took screen shot of the refundable flight shown and call the yatra people. First of all they were non-cooperative and when they find the mistake- explained by me they transfer to the senior person Pooja Sharma and she told me to get back within 24 hours but now after 4 days they are not even answering my call and no reply via mail too. I called from landline phone Norway and they make me wait number of times and had discussed more than 20minutes and come up with no solution, I end up paying more then Rs500 bill for nothing. Please find the attached picture showing yatra.com ticket and the screen shots the screen shots showing clearly refundable flight.

            I had booked an Air India round trip through yatra.com on 2nd Sep 2014 (Booking Ref Id:[protected]). However, the flight from BBI to DEL on 25th Sep 2014 was grounded at the Bhubaneswar Airport due to technical fault in the aircraft engine and there was no certainity as to when the passengers will be flown to Delhi the next day. Hence, I requested the Air India officials at the airport for a full refund of the round trip. They informed me that the round trip has been booked on two different PNR numbers by yatra.com and hence I would have to now approach only yatra officials for a full refund of the round trip. They printed documents (onward and return journey) and stamped it and have asked me to scan and send them to you for a full refund. Pls find all the documents attached to this complaint. Doc 1: Stamped copy by Air India officials for a full refund for journey from BBI to DEL (Date of journey - 25th Sep 2014) Doc 2: Stamped copy by Air India officials for a full refund for return journey from DEL to BBI (Date of journey - 5th Oct 2014) I have been victimized by Yatra's pathetic customer support. I have to use multiple phone numbers to reach the executives and they hang up the calls, despite of waiting for 30 mins the calls are unanswered or disconnected (customer executive who spoke to me was Gunjan and till date she hasn't been able to speak to her supervisor and help me resolve this issue). I have been trying to explain the yatra executives, since I never travelled from BBI to DEL, so how can I now return on 5th Oct from Delhi to Bhubaneswar? Hence, I would need a full refund for a round trip. So pls look into the issue seriously and revert asap.

                Hi, I have booked a flight + hotel online to bangkok from chennai (DOJ 30-OCT) and its been three days and yet i haven't got the confirmed tickets. I got a mail saying its partially booked not sure what that means. My money has been deducted from my account blocking to me to book another transaction.                   On dated[protected] I tried for my booking from Amritsar To Goa and back ( round trip ) through Yatra.com . As the Amount of booking was more than the limit of my SBI Debit card, hence the booking could not be done . I tried twice for booking but failed . In the meantime I received a phone call No. [protected] after 7 PM from the executive of Yatra.com naming Ms. KAVITA . She told me that she is from Yatra.com and could help me in booking the flights . As per her direction we started booking online as per her guidance . She told that the Booking Amount is more than the limit of Debit card and she directed me to first deposite Rs. 39, 000/ from the one ATM Debit card and then she will provide the plateform to deposite the Balance Amount through another ATM Debit card . We did so and deposited Rs. 39, 000/ through my SBI ATM Debit card . At the same time i received messege as under "[protected] Monday 20:31 Thak you for using your SBI Debit card 622xx6218 for a purchase worth Rs. 39, 000/ on POS [protected] at Yatra Yatra online Pvt txn# 836631 " . Then again i recieved phone call from Ms. KAVITA executive of Yatra.com from the same Mobile no. as mention above and she told that the system of Yatra.com is hanged so Balance Amount could not be deposited . She told me to apply and send email to [protected]@yatra.com . Then I sent email immediately to [protected]@yahta.com to refund my unused money of Rs. 39, 000/ but no response has been received so far .                     Dear Madam/Sir My self Rais Ahmed and my Yatra reference number is S1033778. I have booked a holiday package starting from 27/09/2010 to 02/10/2014 called south india holiday package. And the itinerary is 27/09/2014 and 28/09/2014 in Mysore and rest days in Ooty. My problem is as below:- Today morning (28/09/2014) heard a news there was some big protest is going on in Tamil Nadu due to CM arrest. So the border will be closed and there will be no outside specially Karnataka vehicle is no permitted to enter in the Tamil Nadu.So, there are no chance to enter in the Tamil nadu. For me its a big news because I am having a plan to visit Ooty as mentioned above dates but none of the person from Yatra.com has informed us about this. But I have called yatra several time on 28/09/2014 from morning and the solution given by yatra as mentioned below:- 1- I called in the morning 10:00 clock I have talked about this and the have committed to call back and I have recd the call back on 10:36 and they sail there are no problem you can go to ooty in the morning there will be border seal in the evening only at 8:00 clock. 2- Again I have called on 2:49 and again I have asked about this and they committed to call back and I recd the call back on 3:15 pm and they said we cannot do anything and we cannot do any thing. If will change your plan but you have to buy new plan. Instead of giving any satisfied answer they are very much interested to sell their new holiday package. I was talking with ASHISH. Due to this kind o[censored]nsatisfied answer I made some hard talk and he is disconnected the phone. 3- Again I have called on 3:45 pm... No answer. 4- Again I have called on 3:47 pm... No answer. 5- Again I have called then I talked with one floor supervisor name ADITYA and he has given the same solution and he is insisting me to pay more or buy new package. 6- After I called and Talked with the girl name ASMA SIROHI and she has committed to call back with solution. But no call back recd. 7- Again I called ASMA SIROHI again she has committed to call back with solution and got call and said I cannot do anything this will be entertained by the back end team. She committed to arrange call back by them but no call back recd. 8- Again I called ASMA SIROHI again she has committed to call back but no call back recd. 9- Again I called ASMA SIROHI again she has committed to call back but no call back recd. Dear Sir, Madam I am travelling with my wife and my son age 3 Years and for tomorrow I have to checked out from Mysore hotel where I am staying because the booking ends tomorrow morning. And also one of the biggest surprising thing is that I got to number on my voucher as EMERGENCY CALL and the number is [protected] and [protected] which was keep on switched off.                       I booked my tour of Thailand with Yatra.com in Andheri Branch –Mumbai and I got payment slip from Yatra.com that the package was booked for us and I paid Rs.20, 000/-for booking amount on 16th August-14 .I receive a call from your branch on 05th Sep that the booking has now been cancelled from 17th Sep-14 to 21 Sep-14. I have a planned vacation with my wife, going on our honeymoon and they bluntly refuse me the trip and say that we will have to cancel.I was asking about my booking amount they told me it will takes 8 to 10 days . After lot of struggle I got my amount on 9th Sep.14 This is absolutely ridiculous I am absolutely unhappy with the service they have rendered, I am sorry for no service that they have rendered and robbed me of my money. I want to be compensation for the grievance, because they use my money for 25 days. I Also paid expensive package to other travel agent for immediate booking in that period due to yatra.com wrong arrangement.                           Very Bad Experience with yatra. As i have booked my ticket on 30th August 2014 and by mistake i have written incorrect name. Instantly i have sent mail to yatra for the correction of name. And wait till next day but there is no response from their end. Then i have called to yatra, and ask to correct my name, but they refused by giving an excuse that if you called us yesterday i will be able to do correction but now i am unable and now you need to cancel the ticket. Why yatra have not considered my mail that i have sent just after booking my ticket. Yatra executives giving me silly excuses that we are getting alot of mails daily how can i check every mail. But when i mailed yatra to cancel and book another ticket, i get instant call and reply. Finally i have cancelled my ticket and booked new one and bear a loss of 6142 rs approx. Definitely i will raise this issue to consumer court, as i have proofs of mail which i have sent to yatra just after booking my ticket.                             i made a honey moon booking on the 29th aug for manali for 30th sept - 6 oct for 4star hotel in manali. i made tha advance payment and was confirmed by the executive that the booking will be confirmed . then no body gave me call back or any email for next 15 days. i followed them up for 3 days and ten made the rest of the payment . the gentleman after making the payment i recieved a call the very next day stating that the booking is not confirmed and the booking is full. plaese choose some other 2-3 star hotel which was mentioned as 4 star hotel later on when denied for the same gave an option to move to jodhpur and jaipur. when asked for a compensation for the non booking and this messup for the cancellation. a straight denial stating that this the offer or get your money back.

                              Hello This is in regards to booking ref no. [protected]. As you can check from the booking, I had made this reservation for my complete family including a 8 month old kid. I have been previously using Yatra.com for my bookings many a times. I had booked the hotel for the purpose of a vacation. The place is 8 hrs away from my hometown. After a complete day of journey, when I reached Palampur in the evening and inquired about the location of the hotel, to my utter horror I got to know that the hotel was under renovation and not in a position to accommodate any guests. The hotel number given on the Yatra booking voucher was incorrect. When I called the hotel after searching on the net, the hotel owner also confirmed that the hotel is under renovation and was surprised as to how Yatra made the booking. I tried calling on the Yatra number many times but the call did not get through. I kept on getting the message that the customer support representative is busy. As all my family members were absolutely tired and the kid very much restless after the long journey, I frantically searched for alternate accommodation throughout the city but due to the holiday period, there was no booking anywhere. It was already night by now and the weather was getting cold. Unable to get any room, I tried searching for any taxi provider who could take us back. However at that point of time, nobody was ready to go. I had to request so many people and finally one person agreed to go on double the price. We had to travel all the way back in such a bad condition, stayed for some time at a remote and uncomfortable hotel in midway and reached home in the day today. Yatra.com has not only spoiled the vacation but caused immense physical and mental harassment to my entire family besides forcing me to spend so much extra on coming back. The condition of the kid cannot even be explained to you. This is a case of sheer neglect and irresponsible attitude by Yatra.com. The trauma it has caused to my family cannot even be expressed in words. One makes an online booking and pays in advance in order to be sure about the booking and have a relaxed vacation. However the exact opposite has happened with me. Your big TVC claims are of no use when you cannot even ensure that the booking which you confirm through your portal is valid or not. Ever since I have returned, I have tried to contact Yatra in every possible manner. Have also escalated the complaint through the website but have not even received a single response.

                                Yatra .com emerged to a big fraud online site. My hotel booking reference id was [protected]. The hotel was hotel Padma in Puri. I booked the room for my parents while they were on the way. Since they were on the way and it was not possible for them to take print out of the voucher so I talked to the manager of the hotel. I talked to hotel reception (phone no [protected]-06 Sep 11:36 AM, [protected]- 05 Sep 22:16) and he would check in around 3-4 AM because the arrival time of train was 3.20 AM. I also communicated that he is unable to carry print out and only bring sms. That’s why i send voucher on the mail. He assured that would carry print out of the voucher. He also assured about check in timing. Otherwise i would go for second day booking. He assured about everything. Later my parent reached the hotel and called me around 03:20 AM that he is not allowing to check in. I then talked to reception and explained the every detail about my previous conversation but he was persisting for voucher. I gave him option to check his mail and there he can get the print out but he was not agreed. Later he offered that hotel could be available but would be booked for three days (at fare mention on the hotel website, which was higher than yatra.com tariff). Lastly my parent had to leave the hotel and checked in other hotel. In the morning i again talked on phone no [protected] 10:02AM and inquired for the name of concern person but he did not disclose his name. He told that why i had not contacted him on his mobile no [protected]. Now he was talking about the check in time while earlier with the same person I talked everything about check in time. After that I talked to yatra.com representative and informed the issue. Every time only I contacted to yatra.com via email/phone and the yatra team never responded to me. Sometime the team saying that hotelier is telling that my parents had not valid id proofs. And every time one response was common that hotelier is not refunding the amount. It has proved that the hotelier and yatra team accomplice in this fraud activity and has a simple funda. Get payment from guest and don’t let them check in.

                                  Dear Sir, I bought E ticket from yatra Abu Dhabi-Chennai-Abudhabi (PNR CEUECC and Ticket no: [protected] on Etihad Air lines on[protected] and return on[protected]. Due to some problem I had to miss my flight on the[protected] and I had purchased a new Jet airways ticket and flown to chennai. On my return on 10th Sep.2014, my return flight also got cancelled which is not fair. This led to a great problem and I had purchased again on Jet airways on the 11th Sep. 2014 to join my duty back in abu dhabi. When I miss the flight on 13/08/2014, why the return flight also got cancelled and there is no information or refund. I feel this is totally unjust and this put me lots of mental agony and loss of money due to purchase of oneway ticket from chennai to abudhabi by 27, 500.00 rs. Kindly advise me about the refund and reason for cancellation. Also kindly advise me Why I should not approach Consumer court to get justice for my mental agony and monetory loss.                                   The reply provided by your customer care is totally inadequate and putting me in more loss.
                                  Your Travel consultant Mr. Pritvi kumar replied that,
                                  1. I have to pay 400 AED as re issuance amount ( my collegues had paid only 300 AED worth of Indian rupees)
                                  2 I have to pay difference in fair at the time of my travel
                                  3. Ticket is depends on seat availability
                                  4 I have to pay INR 1000 for yatra service charge
                                  5 I have to pay service tax of about 350 rs.

                                  If I calculate the amount that I have to pay to get my ticket, it will be much more than the one which I get return ticket.
                                  So totally it is a cheating in the name of so generously giving re issuance of ticket.

                                  My stand is I will pay just 300 AED worth of INR and I must get the return ticket with assurance of seat on my travel date.
                                  I will not pay yatra service charge and consequent service tax too. Because it is a deficiency on yatra part they did not inform me through sms or e mail or calling to my registered mobile number.

                                  Hope you understand my loss and I am a loyal customer of Yatra and I am buying nearly more than 2 Lakhs worth tickets from your site per year.

                                  At the same time, I guarantee you that, I will never hesitate to seek justice if I am not properly compensated.

                                    On 5th on this month i tried to book 2 days hotel stay in Ajmer via yatar.com & i made the payment via Net banking. But after the money got deducted from my account, i was forwarded to a "404 error" page not to the booking confirmation page.When i called the yatra CC they told me to drop me a email to [protected]@yatra.com mentioning issue & refund will be make. After dropping the mail i only once got communication from yatra CC asking me to provide all the details of the transaction. It has been 9/10 days almost that i have shared all the details with yatra CC/risk department but till now neither i got my refund or any further communication from them. Let me know why there is delay in refund or why you guys are not responding to the details i have shared. Pls refund me Rs. 3965 which was deducted from my account of 5th of this month. BR//... Rahul

                                      I booked 2 tickets from Mumbai to Delhi (for nov 30 2014) on sep 10th and got an email that payment was processed however ticket will be generated later; however i didnt receive any ticket so I tried to call the service helpline # however I had to be on long holds of 20 - 30 minutes but still couldnt speak to any representative, then I wrote an email to [protected]@yatra.com to get the tickets done and NOT the refund; however Yatra sent me an email stating that money has been refunded .. Now the fares have increased by 33% for the same date . I believe its a fraud to lure customers to login on site, show them tickets at low rate and credit the money from their account but later sell those tickets to some one else at higher price. Why was my ticket not confirmed when I had stated in my email that "I DO NOT want a refund but I want to book my tickets" however no one seems to help! I dot understand that why would this situation arise. Is Yatra using backdated technology ? we should be able to select our seats on Yatra and there should be a lockin period of 5 - 7 minutes when the transaction is in process .. and during this time the rate shold be blocked for the selected seats.
