Yatra .com emerged to a big fraud online site. My hotel booking reference id was [protected]. The hotel was hotel Padma in Puri. I booked the room for my parents while they were on the way. Since they were on the way and it was not possible for them to take print out of the voucher so I talked to the manager of the hotel. I talked to hotel reception (phone no [protected]-06 Sep 11:36 AM, [protected]- 05 Sep 22:16) and he would check in around 3-4 AM because the arrival time of train was 3.20 AM. I also communicated that he is unable to carry print out and only bring sms. That’s why i send voucher on the mail. He assured that would carry print out of the voucher. He also assured about check in timing. Otherwise i would go for second day booking. He assured about everything. Later my parent reached the hotel and called me around 03:20 AM that he is not allowing to check in. I then talked to reception and explained the every detail about my previous conversation but he was persisting for voucher. I gave him option to check his mail and there he can get the print out but he was not agreed. Later he offered that hotel could be available but would be booked for three days (at fare mention on the hotel website, which was higher than yatra.com tariff). Lastly my parent had to leave the hotel and checked in other hotel. In the morning i again talked on phone no [protected] 10:02AM and inquired for the name of concern person but he did not disclose his name. He told that why i had not contacted him on his mobile no [protected]. Now he was talking about the check in time while earlier with the same person I talked everything about check in time. After that I talked to yatra.com representative and informed the issue. Every time only I contacted to yatra.com via email/phone and the yatra team never responded to me. Sometime the team saying that hotelier is telling that my parents had not valid id proofs. And every time one response was common that hotelier is not refunding the amount. It has proved that the hotelier and yatra team accomplice in this fraud activity and has a simple funda. Get payment from guest and don’t let them check in.

    Dear Sir, I bought E ticket from yatra Abu Dhabi-Chennai-Abudhabi (PNR CEUECC and Ticket no: [protected] on Etihad Air lines on[protected] and return on[protected]. Due to some problem I had to miss my flight on the[protected] and I had purchased a new Jet airways ticket and flown to chennai. On my return on 10th Sep.2014, my return flight also got cancelled which is not fair. This led to a great problem and I had purchased again on Jet airways on the 11th Sep. 2014 to join my duty back in abu dhabi. When I miss the flight on 13/08/2014, why the return flight also got cancelled and there is no information or refund. I feel this is totally unjust and this put me lots of mental agony and loss of money due to purchase of oneway ticket from chennai to abudhabi by 27, 500.00 rs. Kindly advise me about the refund and reason for cancellation. Also kindly advise me Why I should not approach Consumer court to get justice for my mental agony and monetory loss.     Dear sir,

    The reply provided by your customer care is totally inadequate and putting me in more loss.
    Your Travel consultant Mr. Pritvi kumar replied that,
    1. I have to pay 400 AED as re issuance amount ( my collegues had paid only 300 AED worth of Indian rupees)
    2 I have to pay difference in fair at the time of my travel
    3. Ticket is depends on seat availability
    4 I have to pay INR 1000 for yatra service charge
    5 I have to pay service tax of about 350 rs.

    If I calculate the amount that I have to pay to get my ticket, it will be much more than the one which I get return ticket.
    So totally it is a cheating in the name of so generously giving re issuance of ticket.

    My stand is I will pay just 300 AED worth of INR and I must get the return ticket with assurance of seat on my travel date.
    I will not pay yatra service charge and consequent service tax too. Because it is a deficiency on yatra part they did not inform me through sms or e mail or calling to my registered mobile number.

    Hope you understand my loss and I am a loyal customer of Yatra and I am buying nearly more than 2 Lakhs worth tickets from your site per year.

    At the same time, I guarantee you that, I will never hesitate to seek justice if I am not properly compensated.

      On 5th on this month i tried to book 2 days hotel stay in Ajmer via yatar.com & i made the payment via Net banking. But after the money got deducted from my account, i was forwarded to a "404 error" page not to the booking confirmation page.When i called the yatra CC they told me to drop me a email to [protected]@yatra.com mentioning issue & refund will be make. After dropping the mail i only once got communication from yatra CC asking me to provide all the details of the transaction. It has been 9/10 days almost that i have shared all the details with yatra CC/risk department but till now neither i got my refund or any further communication from them. Let me know why there is delay in refund or why you guys are not responding to the details i have shared. Pls refund me Rs. 3965 which was deducted from my account of 5th of this month. BR//... Rahul

        I booked 2 tickets from Mumbai to Delhi (for nov 30 2014) on sep 10th and got an email that payment was processed however ticket will be generated later; however i didnt receive any ticket so I tried to call the service helpline # however I had to be on long holds of 20 - 30 minutes but still couldnt speak to any representative, then I wrote an email to [protected]@yatra.com to get the tickets done and NOT the refund; however Yatra sent me an email stating that money has been refunded .. Now the fares have increased by 33% for the same date . I believe its a fraud to lure customers to login on site, show them tickets at low rate and credit the money from their account but later sell those tickets to some one else at higher price. Why was my ticket not confirmed when I had stated in my email that "I DO NOT want a refund but I want to book my tickets" however no one seems to help! I dot understand that why would this situation arise. Is Yatra using backdated technology ? we should be able to select our seats on Yatra and there should be a lockin period of 5 - 7 minutes when the transaction is in process .. and during this time the rate shold be blocked for the selected seats.           My booking ID is Yatra Reference Number : 12754386 For the same traveling date i want to change my travel destination from chennai - OSAKA instead of Chennai -TOKYO.Is it possible let me know? question asked to yatra departments...before 1 month Cancelling the ticket - 25% amount only refundable 1.Booking Person - (Answer) cancel the ticket and book the new one 2.Customer care 1st time - don't know about this ask Malaysian Airlines Customer care 2nd time before 4 weeks - possible only 5000 charge Customer care 3rd time before 3 weeks - possible but no seats available(in website shows ticket available) Customer care 4th time before 1 week - possible 1 or 2 days before travelling date Customer care 5th time before 1 day - Ask airline office in the AIRPORT Final day asked in Airline office in the airport - TOLD NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE DESTINATION So the final conclusion is, In YATRA no body knows the procedure.they are looking for only commission amount No body

            I have booked a holiday package with Booking Id-s1040876.The package details defines the 3 and 4 star hotels.but when i reached there, get surprised to see the conditions of hotels.the conditions was too much worst.after seen that condition, i have called to Yatra persons on given emergency contact no's.and found no response.and after calling no of times they had switched off the phones.it was my such a too much worst experience with yatra.

              Dear sir, my booking ref id S1041710 I booked tour for Thailand on 16th August 2014 from your Andheri -Mumbai branch for departure date on 17/09/2014 . But today suddenly got call from your office this booking is postpone due to seasonal problem. I was aksing abt my booking refund amount they told me you will get 4-5 working days .I require money on urgent baisis . Because problem is raised from your side i dont want to suffer in your issue. Already i got late intimation from your side before 10 days for tour . Its very worst . My booing amt Rs.20, 000/- . why its dealy from your.. stiil amt not recd. Your branch manager Mr. Shivcharan (Andheri- Branch) warn me pls talke me properly otherwise we will give amt after 7- 10 days . I am mailing since 4 days nobody give me proper reply from andheri branch . Whenever i called them they every time telling me gone for lunch, gone for washrrom, gone for meeting, we will call later, will revert you . this is not kind of proper serivce to maiantain customer relationship.

                I booked one room in "Executive Inn - A boutique Hotel, Pondicherry" on 1st of August for 2nd of August. I reached pondicherry at 1:00 AM 2nd august and i called reception of Executive Inn and the person at reception denied the room saying we don't have room available right now. I tried explaining him i am at pondicherry bus stand and I have booked the room through yatra.com but he refused to provide any room. I called yatra.com but the helpline is open till 12:30 AM. I was there at pondicherry bus stand with my fiancée trusting yatra.com has booked a room but yatra.com made that night worst night of my life. Next evening I got a call from Executive Inn asking when I will check in. I called yatra.com helpline and filed a complaint but after so many follow ups i am not getting any refund from yatra.com.                       I have booked a flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad of Dt. 21.09.2014 - Spice Jet 12 Noon for two person, but when I received Email from yatra after 10/15 minutes it was booked for 22nd and of late night. When complained they have sent me a screen shot which is not logged in, when i have asked to send me screen shot of logged in they did not replied. SO BE WARE OF SUCH THINGS.

                        hello sir

                        i am from pune and cancelled my ticket of Kolkaata to Pune quite in advance from YATRA.com.

                        i found the refund was almost 50% of the net amount. I like to know how this agents make money out of cancellation and bully passengers.

                        while booking they do not show any refund amounts and once they are booked they cancellation amount wht thye collect is too high.

                        so i like to know is there in law which could permit this type of BROAD DAY ROBBERTY COULD BE STOPPED

                          I have booked a Kinfisher flight from Delhi to doon through Yatra. But, during that time kingfisher was grounded and I was told to book another flight. I have asked yatra people so many times but I never received any response from them, though initially they said that I will receive my payment back. Till date I have not received my payment.

                            We booked a leh trip from yatra and it was the worst exp of our life. They stuff 8 people in one car, we had no place to even move and there are 7 hour journeys for which we need to sit in a constricted position. The worst was our tour administrator from yatra who was the most arrogant, conceited and un-responsive person. when the entire group raised and issue and requested another car, he said he will check and get back to us, but never did. on the last day he avoided contact with us and did not even have the courtesy to tell us on the status of another car. How can 8 people sit in 1 car for 7 days !!! it was pure torture. I am ensuring that every single individual i know at work and in person cancells their booking and i have put up negative comments about yatra on every social media platform so that it goes viral and no one ever decides to travel with this fraud arrogant company. In fact the stuffy car was so bad that it broke down in the middle of no where and we had to carry 20kgs of our own luggage and walk 7km to the next village. I think the tour operator has single hadedly ruined the reputation of yatra for all times to come. I will consider it my personal mission to ensure that yatra has as much neagtive feedback and reduction in business as humanly possible.Our ID number is 'yatra=[protected]

                              Dear sir/madam we are mailed in yatra.com- ""we booked a room in Hotel Caurvey Inn from yatra.com Hotel Details:- Reference No.[protected] Hotel confirmation number- YAT[protected] Hotel Cauvery Inn Address: Daba Gardens, Visakhapatnam Phone:[protected] Total Amount pad: Rs. 2, 602 The hotel owner (hotel Cauvery Inn) refused to provide the room as they didn't have a vacant room. So they shifted us to second hotel (Hotel Jaipur) where the hotel owner said they didn't have any AC room. After that again they shifted us to a third hotel (Iswar Residency). There the hotel owner said that they don't have a 4-bed room and each room can have only two people at max. So we were offered to stay in 2 rooms where we had to pay Rs. 400 per night per bed. So in total we had to pay Rs 1600 which was surplus to the amount we paid when we booked the room in Cauvery Inn through Yatra.com. The rooms that were provided was very poorly maintained and the harassment caused to us during this entire trip is extremely uncalled for. Kindly explain why such incident happened and please initiate the refund immediately. The refund amount 2602+1600=4202 Rs.                                 Hi, I had made a booking for 2 adults and one child (3yrs age) Ref No. [protected] on 17th Aug 2014 by paying Rs.3200. But in voucher it is showing 1 Adult and 1 Child. When I Contacted yatra customer service and informed him about the website error the person told me that he will look into it and will provide me a resolution and is arranging a call back within 24hrs. When I customer care after 24hrs as there was no communication from the yratra side, the person in formed me that i have to pay 1500 extra at the hotel. I informed him that yatra itself was selling the same room at 3524 and hotel tariff for the same room was 4200. Now yatra was asking me to pay 4700 for a room which costs 4200. The person again asked me for 24hrs time for resolution. And promised me a call back by today ie 19th Aug 2014. But also when there was no response from yatra i called the customer care, I got a rude shock as the person on the other very rudely told me that, i had to pay 1500 extra as it was my error and i should have looked while booking and done it properly. He said it was not a web site error his back end team has confirmed the same. When i asked for a refund he said it cannot be done as there will be no refund as per hotel policy. I feel cheated by yatra. I had got numerous feed backs from friends asking me not to book from yatra. but i fell for the Rs.200 rate difference compare to make my trip. He has told me yatra cannot do any thing as it was not a web site error. i will request every one to stay away fro yatra as it is a fraud company.

                                  Dear sir, I booked my a flight in the morning of the 19th. A payment of Rs.23484 was processed on successful booking. An hour later i get a call reporting that my flight wasnt booked or it was left uncofirmed. I told the latter that i have a receipt on the matter. I was told to pay a sum of Rs. 4000 by the latter for confirming the ticket. The conversation after several hours was forwarded to Mr. Richard Anthony who later said there were no more seats left in the flight that i payed for. He suggested me a different flight and told me to pay an excess of Rs 5500 exactly for ticket confirmation. Since i was in a hurry, i accepted after a heated conversation. This is a complaint regarding your company policies. Dont accept money untill you confirm my ticket. I want an official apology and moneyback(extra amount of Rs.5500 charged) for the problems you've caused me. Reply to me on suhail.[protected]@gmail.com or i will move to the consumer courts.                                     I booked a flight ticket from yatra.com. By mistake i booked the ticket 1 month earlier so i called customer care to reschedule it. Customer care representative said you have to pay charges around 9500 rs. The original cost of the tocket was 6700! Why the hell would i pay such charges rather than keeping that ticket and booking another one at lesser price??


                                    After that i tried to reschedule it through their online portal. On website it allowed me to reschedule it for some amount and i paid the same. After payment it said your ticket is UNCONFIRMED and we'll call you in three hours. Nobody called me back from yatra. When i called thme they said you have to pay some more money. And they are talking to higher management. After that there is no response.
                                    I'm thinking of taking some legal action against them.

                                      he customer care (suvindha kanojia) executive had taken advance of Rs.15000 each for 2 couples for leh holiday package. ref 1032916/20 today they called me saying me to shift the dates according to them and asking us to change the dates as per their convenience. Without giving us the reference number they said ur holiday package is cancelled due to non payment. What does it mean by taking advance.. The customer care stopped picking up my call.. a new person jaint verma(not his real name as he took 5 min to say his name) employee id: 3218 email id: called me saying adjust and shift the dates of 4 people which i cannot.. than he told me to go to kashmir.. he doesnt even know how to talk to customer.. customer wants to go to leh and he is sending them to kashmir.. i have already booked ticket on 24th and 1st according to the time and taken leave solve my issue by today call me with the solution @[protected] i cant change my date ur excutive is talking to me for more than 1hr without any solution only begging saying sorry which i cannot accept Chat Conversation End now they are saying pay 7500 per person
