I booked a ticket from Yatra talking to an agent couple of days ago. The ticket which I booked was refundable fare in which change dates / cancellation refund is available after cutting off some penalty. I have the details on my email. Due to some unavoidable reasons I have to change my date of travel to next month for which I called the ticketing team. I spoke with yatra adviser named Humaira. I asked to check for the dates I wanted the booking to be amended to which is the 16th of April. She confirmed that there is no availability on the flight. I was also checking the availability of flights online from Yatra website and found lot many seats available. The adviser was unable to give me a single date in the whole month of April in which the seats were available to plan my travel. For me, I think its impossible that there is no seats available for the whole month and the availability shows full vacant for new bookings. I needed a change date in the itinerary so that I could have travelled. I was suggested to cancel the ticket and make a fresh booking as there are many seats available, but if I want to change dates this is not possible for the whole month. For me the reason for this statement from Yatra is only cuz they want to snatch more money from their customer's pocket. For cancellation of my ticket they will charge 23000 INR and then they have seats available to rebook... but to change dates they don't have even 1 seat available within the whole month of April because the change date fee will be 10000 INR only for them. So they are looking for the excess profit for 13000 if I cancel and rebook which I will not do. Will be great if someone can help me getting my itinerary date changed. These hidden facts and figures from Yatra are pathetic and don't even have any logic. Thanks SHASHI KUMAR +44 [protected]

Well.. My number is available 24*7... I've been taking calls everyday.. don't know how Yatra was not able to reach me. Maybe cuz its an international number and you tend not to call international numbers. That was informed to my by one of your reps on the call.
Anyways I had to pay 20300 INR to get the date changes done as seats were not available in the same class for date change.. But a whole lot of seats are available in the same class for new bookings. SI instead of 10000, I ended up paying 20300 unwillingly as there was no more option left.

Request you to please inform this to your customers while selling tickets that we have a change date option available however there's no surety if the changes will go through cuz we don't have seats available when you call for date changes.

Additionally the sales people... they are always after confirming the payment and not even bothering about what customer wants... at the end of every statement from them they add - so, how are you making the payment so that I can proceed to payments.. Was surprised talking to them... Thanks anyways..

    My flight on 14th December 2014 from Delhi to Aurangabad was cancelled on 9th December. Clearly as the flight was cancelled, I am entitled to a refund. There is no rocket scienece in this. It's been a month since my flights were cancelled and I have not received a refund yet. I have called Yatra.com over 10 times but to no avail. They keep giving me excuses like 'management has not approved your refund yet', we are still awaiting confirmatin from finance departmnet etc. They are earning interest from my hard earned money. PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM YATRA.com. They are all thieves running illegal business.

    transition..

    friends please don't buy tickets from YATRA it's worst company.

      DISASTROUS AND BELOW PAR SERVICE PROVIDED BY YATRA. Sir/madam, I have booked Odissa package “Blessed Odissa standard” costing approx32000 Rs on 4th Sep online as advice by yatra customer executive madam Anjali Aswalby paying advance of 8700.My departure date was 24th of December. 1) Advance booking on 4th ofSeptember as travel date was 24th of December: Advance booking done so as we get goodhotels and also there was pooja scheduled in Puri with relatives so could notbe missed. I have booked the package on 4 th of Sept. And with conditions ofthe hotels like lotus resort and fort mahodhabi. And your customer careexecutive (ANJALI ASWAL) committed for same.Yatra reference no. S-1086222. I have told customer care executiveif these hotels are available then and then book the package, and customer careexecutive committed for same.I am told for rest payment service department willcall u. 2) No call from Yatra after advance takenand some mal practice of advance taken. Since no call fromYatra and only 20 days left for departure I contacted yatra customer care, I amshocked to learn that my package was bookedfor Manilla and its over as departure date was 8th of October. I have triedfor two days to convince them that my travel dates and destination. Later Mr Neerajfrom your customer care confirm same and told me that booking in the hotels arefull you have to change hotel rooms. I asked him I havebooked on 4th of Sept and why now hotels become full, He repliedthat Yatra has booked same hotels but hotels have cancelled bookings as theygot customers with high rate paying, “ye sabto India me chalta hai.” I complaint to Yatraat all level by email but could not resolve. 3) Poor response to complaint. After lots of effortsyet one customer executives come in to picture on date 15th Dec nameMr. Ashish Kumar. He told me sorry and asked to take refund, I told him, I havebooked well in advance and all my relatives have booked their tour to Puri fordoing some rituals. He asked me to pay rest amount and I did same. Later he confirmedthe package on 18th December withnew reference no S-1342621. What about old reference no. It seems some mal practise. 4) Hotels provided in Konark and Puri wasfar below standard. Finally we startedtour and experienced disastrous service from Yatra. They provided hotelin konark name Surya Inn, to my surprise it is not hotel it is lodge. Problemswith surya Inn § It is lodge and made by converting a house to lodge, ground floor owner stay topfloor small rooms in which they kept us. § No drinking water facility in room. § As per package every day breakfast wasincluded but breakfast was not provided. § No hot water facility, hot wter was notprovided. In Puri we wereprovided Surya Beach Inn this is also budgeted hotel not a standard hotel asmentioned in package. 5) Very very poor response to customercomplaints: I have contacted no. Oftimes to customer care their response was very poor. There is no system inYatra for customer complaint no complaint no. Etc. So many time they disconnected call purposely and most of the time done by Anjali Aswal. I have complaint to Yatra but till dateno response, issue is so much inconviense, stress they provided, also moneytaken for standard package but package was lower than budget package.

        Hello, On 7th December I had booked a Yatra tour to Nepal (S1321431). Now that I have completed my journey I wanted to write and call out a set of complaints that I as part of my overall experience with Yatra. I also want to claim back an amount which I was unduly charged for. 1) Refund sought for Nepali Rs. 398 against the charge applied for Child breakfast at Club Himalaya in Nagarkot. Despite suggesting to the hotel authorities as well as the local tour operator (Yeti tours) I was asked to pay for the child breakfast on grounds that communication from Yatra is that I should be charged for child meals. 2) After I made the reservation and paid for the trip on 7th Dec I had few clarification questions for which I tried multiple times to reach Yatra through e-mail as well as through phone line. Neither did I receive a response to my mails nor was I able to easily get through to your phone helpline. When I did get through two times my request/questions were taken on board but I did not receive a response at all. You should be able to easily check the records of my requests for the time I was able to get through to your helpdesk. 3) I did not receive e-tickets or any other travel details till one day prior to travel when I called your emergency helpline seeking these details. Why is this the case? Shouldn’t we be getting all details of the travel well in advance? 4) Upon calling Yatra helpline I recd. an itinerary on 24 Dec which is not how the tour turned out to be. On arrival in Kathmandu we were told that our visit would start with Nagarkot, Chitwan and then Kathmandu which was the complete opposite of what Yatra's itinerary suggested. Why is there such a confusion? 5) I had to make several international calls to the local tour operator to ensure that I am not charged for child food at the other two hotels in Chitwan and Kathmandu. My local operator tells me that since Yatra did not respond to their query they have at their own behest worked with the hotels in Chitwan and Kathmandu and waived off the child meal cost. This is not acceptable despite having spent such a large sum of money with Yatra. 6) Isn’t there an easy way to escalate or raise an emergency complaint when travelling abroad? I found it extremely difficult to connect to your helpline (Option 2 for existing bookings) even when I was in India that I did not even try calling you from Nepal. Thanks, Suraj

          We had booked a package tour of Shimla-Manali with Yatra.com from December 24-28, 2014. Our return flight was from Delhi at 8.45 pm, which was a 14 hour drive from Manali. In spite of repeated reminders to our driver to start early at 4.30 am, he arrived only at 6 am. Heavy traffic and fog at Delhi, made us miss our flight as we reached the airport half an hour late. When we contacted a yatra agent, he was both rude and inconsiderate, telling us Yatra wasn't responsible and they won't refund or reschedule our flight and that we have to book a flight by ourselves. The flight ticket rates were extremely high, and he didn't give us any other option. Since the mistake was on yatra's part, it is upto them to accomodate for a reschedule. We were left stranded in Delhi airport, and it caused us a lot of mental trauma and physical strain. We booked a package tour with Yatra, and it is their responsibility to see through their commitment of ensuring our itinerary isn't hampered in any way. Leaving us stranded there without any form of support, for no mistake on our part, isn't what is expected out of yatra.

              Hi, This is Vikas Chouksey i have booked hotel through yatra.com with Sun Park Resort MANALI in the name of Mr. Vishal Chouksey date of booking was 14th dec2014 to 19 dec2014, due to heavy snowfall they were not able to move from simla to manali because road was blocked and govt was not allowed to move to manali they were waiting for 2 days to clear the road but it was not. I had discussion with yatra customer service desk regarding the same but they are not ready to refund. My Booking details with yatra is ref No.- [protected]. Can you help me with the same.               Reference to my above complaint,

              I am not getting any update regarding my complaint, I wrought first mail to Yatra on 16/12/2014 regarding my Rs.12845/- refund, same day I got the mail from "Rohit Juyal" Yatra Team that was "We are checking for possible cancellation under ref - [protected] with Sun Park Resort MANALI.
              Please allow us some time." After that I was waiting for reply from yatra but I didn't get any update regarding the same than send the mail to yatra "Mr. Rohit Juyal" on 20/12/2014 and 23/12/2014 after the last mail got the reply from Mr. Rohit Juyal that was
              "We have spoken to Ms.Kamna from hotel for same & they are not agreed for any refund." Than on 27/12/2015 complained to consumer complaint.

              It's almost one month over but nothing is happening from yatra the amount is big for me so request you to please do the needful.

                I had booked a ticket from guntur to hyderbad on 20 Dec 2014|22:50 on yatra.com with the Booking Reference Number[protected] for deepak travels volvo bus and i got a call from deepak travels guntur 7:30pm at that the bus which i have to travel has been cancelled, deepak travels didnt showed me an alternate option for me and said that go and book in another travels and i had went to hyd by apsrtc i didnt get my ticket amount refund so please consider my request and make my amount refund as soon as possible

                  Booking reference id S1272353. My name is Kunwar manish singh, presently serving in national security guard on the post of Captain. i am writing this feedback for following and please take a note a note of them so that no one suffers like i did during the trip. 1. I am deeply regretting booking my travel trip planned by yatra. I experienced my worst holidays just because some of your employee did not want to their job properly. 2.It seems that yatra wants full advance money but worst services were provided. 3.Services as quoted while booking were not provided. 4.Mr shyam, yatra representative who made a false committment and false promises for making me take the trip were so inappropriate and unethical ( for example - Providing a veh at my disposal for which i got a custom made package and paid extra amount for it, later on it was mentioned in itenary for non availabilty of veh at my disposal which rendered me lots of inconvenience.) 5. No assistance or no representative from yatra came to meet on arrival as mentioned while booking. 6. Hotel condition- selection of very low standard of hotels with no view and minimum facilities 7. No response from call centres after repeated complaints before and during the trip. 8. Miss rekha ;yatra call centre rep poor performance after repeated request she registered my complaint ref complaint no. 14425320 and never cared enough to reply back and made me suffer on every day during the trip. 9. It seemed everyone in yatra.com just cared for the booking of trip and advance money and once the money was transfer not a single person bothered or cared for the trip or services. 10. I am also taking this attrocious service of your to Consumer court. 11. Thank you for your bad services and i will never recommend any of my friends or relatives for choosing yatra.                     Its bring to your attention malafide intention on Yatra’s Part to play around with my confirmed hotel bookings for Daman for 3 nights stay. Ref number : [protected]. It was also a frustrating experience connecting with any of the super-visor for domestic Hotels, I have called number of times to reach for & requested a call back but to no avail. I have made the confirmed booking on dec 06 for 3 night stay at Hotel dariya darshan in daman via Yatra portal for year end, after talking to the hotel I get to know that my booking is still not confirmed & there is a rate negotiation going on with Yatra. They confirm the bookings without confirming the same with respective Hotel & was misleading & unjustifiable. i did talk to Hotel owner & he told me that they never confirmed the ticket booking & same confirmed by yatra was false & misleading, he asked me to take action against yata management. Yatra on their part instead of owning their fault asked me to pay more in name of dinner charges which is at first place not appropriate as hotel never sold night stay & dinner separately what they sold is a package. i already booked my to n fro tickets & asking yatra to settle this appropriately & provide me with alternate accommodation if this did not work else i have to take legal route to get this settled.

                      This with reference to my holiday booking Reference No. S1321023 and S1321367. I made the booking on 7th Dec 2014 and after few days I got to know about the adverse weather conditions in Manali and called the Yatra toll fee number number of times asking them about the real situation in Manali and I was assured every time that there is no problem what so ever. But after checking the ground reality in Manali with different sources including the News Channels and local Himachal Pradesh Authorities I got to know it is not all safe to travel Manali and the weather conditions are very bad. Hence I called up the Service Desk of Yatra and requested them to postpone my travel as it is not at all advisable to travel Manali, but to my surprise I was told that the booking once made can neither be cancelled nor postponed to any other dates as the amount paid to the hotel and Airlines is non refundable. I personally checked with the Hotels and the Airlines and they confirmed that it is very much possible. This clearly indicates that the Service representatives in Yatra and giving wrong information to the tourist and not at all bothered about the life of the fellow tourists/passengers who are trusting Yatra.

                      Your team assured me that everything was fine but I have to spent entire night in the hotel without electricity, no heater and no arrangements to fight the intense cold weather. I returned back to Pune and my request now is to refund my entire amount as the services you have provided is not at all acceptable and I have already gone through lot of mental stress and agony.

                          I had booked 3 tickets from Guwahati to Bangalore on 2nd September 2014 for the journey to be done on 29th September 2014 through Yatra. The tickets were booked for the Air India Flight. However, due to personal emergency on the day of travelling, we had to cancel our tickets from Air India Counter at the airport. Air India personnel advised me that Yatra would be paying my refund. I had then called Yatra with the details and they advised me it will take around 45 days. I waited for 45 days and then gave a call and they told me to wait for another 10-15 days as the Airline has not responded back that I had cancelled my tickets. I waited again and called them after 15 days and this time they had the same story of Airline not replying to them. When I called up Air India they told that they had already replied back and if Yatra requires, I can show the cancelled tickets along with sealed hard copy of the cancelled receipt. I also told them that I can give the scanned cancelled receipt which I received from Air India but the customer care representative just mentioned that it would be a waste of time as they want the confirmation from Air India directly. I am really getting frustrated with this response of waiting every 15 days. If Yatra would have confirmed that the refund money will take these many days, I would have happily waited but this kind of response, of waiting every 15 days every time I call, has really given me a thought of not booking the tickets anymore from Yatra. I am really not happy with the way they are treating my case. Request Yatra to deal this case asap so that I dont have to book from them ever. The details of the tickets are mentioned below.                             The perfect synonym for fraud = yatra. The big fraud company and the worst customer support ever I have seen, I believe each customer support executive is trained for it. I had booked a package trip to Andaman from 17th to 21st Dec 2014 called “Thrilling Andaman Ex Chennai” it was a group package and hence paid additional Rs:4500 on top of the package money for individual car during the Trip. Here is my experience with Yatra: I reached Chennai airport at 6:30 am yesterday(17th Dec 2014) to board Chennai to port Blair fight which was scheduled at 9:35am. But the airlines had cancelled all the flights due to some operational issues and when I checked with customer care of airlines they said the tickets are booked by agency and told me to contact the agency. The whole package was arranged by Yatra and hence called the emergency support number[protected] but after selecting option 1 for domestic travel it was redirected to a Vodafone number which was switched off. When I dialed 2 it was going to international emergency contact number where the person was not supportive and he always used to say “we will get back to you” but he never get back. After 8:30 am when I dialed the emergency contact number and dialed 1 the number was ringing but no response. I tried reaching [protected] and was going to domestic holidays where it used to say the support hours start at 10 am in the morning. After 10:30 am I was able to get in touch with yatra support but the support person Mr. Vikas Dahiya told me to board the next available flight on my own expenses but the next flight was in the evening which had 20hrs of travel time. I asked Vikas Dahiya for refund since the trip has not started yet and I haven't utilized even a 1% of the trip I asked to check if he can arrange the same package for different dates. He said he has no info on it and will work internally and will get back to me but did not get back. I was in Chennai on my personal expense in a private hotel and gave a call to yatra again in the evening around 6 PM thinking yatra could arrange alternatives for me to reach Port Blair, Mr. Deepak Pandey spoke to me and was saying he is helpless. I did not get what he means. He says he can't rearrange the trip as it scheduled and its an airline fault and also cannot reimburse. It makes no sense as the travel package is arranged by yatra. Its yatras fault for choosing spice jet. Why should end customers have to pay for the issues which yatra and spice jet have? The rule number five in yatra voucher terms and conditions say that "if we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangement's due to reasons beyond our control we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn't already commenced."                               YATRA Reference Number is 13695035. Yatra has started following state-of –the –art cheating. When I was about to book my ticket from a different website, Yatra.com had promised for the same deal. After wasting my 10 days of my life, yatra had informed that yatra cannot offer the same and better deal. I had sent 100’s of mails and calls over this for 10 days, all these 10 days yata.com was pretending as if working on this issue. After having literally wasted my 10days of my life, now yatra cannot offer the same and better deal.

                                I had booked tickets for three passengers on 29th September, 2014 from Guwahati to Bangalore. Somehow, after going to airport, due to personal emergency, we had to cancel the tickets through the airline counter directly (AIR INDIA). They had given the receipt that the ticket is cancelled and have given a sealed hard copy of cancelled ticket. When this was reported to Yatra, they told it will take 45 days. So I waited for 45 days and gave back a call to them. They mentioned that airline is not replying yet and will take another 10 - 15 days. Again, I waited for another 15 days and gave them a call and they had the same story of Airline not responding back to them and told me to wait for another 10 days. I also mentioned that I have the cancelled receipt from Air India and can give the scanned copy to them. Yatra were like it will be a waste of time as they are waiting for the response from Air India. When Air India was contacted, they had replied saying response has been already sent back to them. Yatra keeps blaming Air India and Air India keeps blaming Yatra. This is not how I had expected it to be. I have decided not to book tickets anymore from Yatra for the way they are handling my case. Initially I was very happy to book from Yatra but the image that was created has been destroyed in these 77 days. If they would have given me a solid date and time I would have been more than happier to wait for those many days, but instead I am being asked to wait always for another 10 - 15 days without any fruitful result. Below are the details of the purchase.                                   This is regarding the reference number: [protected] at yatra.com. I unfortunately booked an Air Asia air ticket through yatra.com from Bangalore to Kochi. The ticket booking was made for family friends to attend my brother's wedding. Imagine the surprise when on the day wedding, the flight is cancelled (without any intimation, mind you) with no alternative arrangements done. Now, after such nuisance these people refuse to refund the ticket money even after close to one and half months since cancellation, talk about chutzpah. Repeated complaints, both through their customer care service ( if and when they receive the call ) and emails have fallen into deaf years. Every time I raise a complaint, I am assured of the refund in the "next couple of days". I am not very sure what couple of days mean in yatra.com terminology. It has been close to 40 days since the cancellation, and the "couple of days" never seem to end. The attached document has all the email transactions conducted with the concerned party. Request yatra.com to resolve the issue at the earliest, so that I do not have deal with them ever again.

                                  The total cost of the booking was 7350 INR. Since the flight cancellation was made by the airlines, is there any valid reason for me to pay the cancellation fee?

                                    My booking ref no: [protected] Yatra told me that is was a non refundable but agreed to refund full amount if the hotel agreed to it, as my booking was for a much farther date. But after contacting hotel and cancelling the same, Yatra is now refusing to refund and says booking was non-refundable. The are saying now booking has already been cancelled and they cannot refund any money. They are lying about refund, cancellation so that now they have my money and can offer this booking to someone else. If they had not lied about the refund, I would have tried to arrange the trip somehow. Now I am in no man land situation. I don't have booking nor any refund. Please see Yatra tricks and kindly help me from this trap they set up. Thanks

While booking, it was indicated that free Complimentary breakfast is provided in the plan. However to my dismay, I realised that the Hotel do not provide Complimentary Breakfast.
