i booked a ticket fro chennai-delhi-chennai.now i want to cancel the ticket fro delhi to chennai which they refused and told me that no refund will be given.i even requested that the ticket may be kept open for future date of journey which also they refused. my yatra reference no is [protected] my email add is pradeep [protected]@sbbj.co.in request you to refund the money.

I booked the dubai return ticket from yatra and due to some circumstances I called up yatra to cancel the ticket. Yatra told me that ticket was non-refundable. I argued with them that I confirmed the ticket staus before booking and nothing was mentioned whether the ticket was refundable or non-refundable. Yatra told me to contact Jet Airways directly which I did and to my surprise Jet Airways cancelled my ticket with 90% refund and asked me to take refund from Yatra. When I called up Yatra again to my shock they started refuting the claim amount.I am awiaitng my refund. PLEASE BEWARE OF BOOKING THROUYGH YATRA. I hope this might help someone who is looking to book ticket through Yatra.

yatra.com is literally taking customers for a ride. I bet their CEO is one of those corrupt ex-bureaucrats with links to the utterly corrupt aviation ministry. Now they are giving a buy 1 get 1 free offer. Consumers naturally expect that if they buy a Rs. 2200 ticket under this offer then they will get a Rs. 2200 or lesser amount ticket free on the next flight booking from their site plus some taxes. But look at the way these [censored]s scam people. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.
I booked 4 tickets using YATRA.COM-from Del to Gau on 25/7/11 and got it cancelled on 27/7/11.i received a mail from yatra stating that amount will be refunded in 3 days but its already 6days , no refund has been made.I called ,mailed numerous time but i didnt get any positive response.I got a call from yatra ,the person said due to technical reasons the refund couldnt be made and it will take atleast 7days for refund.He was not committal for 1week time.He said it will take minimum 1 week and maximum he had no idea.I warned them of my going to consumer courts but it didnt make any difference.It seems they do this purposely.Dear readers please avoid using YATRA>COM

    Hi,

    I have booked ticket from Yatra.com in Jet Airways in the name of Kaushal Kishore with ticket number [protected] and Date of Travelling : 23rd Nov 2011 through Yatra Booking Number : [protected] Booking Date : 17, Nov, 2011 with Airline PNR IBWNHF.

    As I have already cancelled my ticket from Jet airways counter and after several attempts of making calls to Yatra I dropped a mail to [protected]@yatra.com; [protected]@yatra.com stating cancellation of ticket.Please refer to the attachment for reference. I can produce mail conversation wherever required.
    The customer care service is pathetic. They don't even pick up calls.
    The amount is also not refunded till now. Its almost a month now.This behaviour is not acceptable from such reputed travel agents.
    Such portals should be banned as they are misleading people and misusing their money.

    Please take necessary severe action against them as I am ready to file case against them and take them to consumer court.
    I want my money to be refunded to my card as soon as possible without any delay.

    I will never ever use Yatra in future and even report abuse against them in social sites and encourage people not to use Yatra.com for any purpose.
    Please help me out.

      Yatra Travel pack/ Unauthorised transaction from ICICI card

      Transaction Date 09/01/2012 , Amount 6617.00 , Merchant Name : Yatra Travel Pack.

      Card Account No. [protected] for the following disputed transaction.

      I am just harassed & frustrated with the above merchant because of following reasons.

      I received a phone call from Yatra.com for availaing of Yatra Travel Pack in free of cost dinner card & vouchers but while checked my credit card statement Rs.6617/- is debited in my account.
      Getting on with the details, I got a call from some Mahinder/ Sachin who explained the product Yatra Travel Pack & said this is an offer to me seeing my goodwill as of a hdfc credit card holder. Despite repeated queries from my side regarding how much I have to pay to avail the offers & discounts, they have confirmed me repeatedly that no amount will be debited from my account & I don’t have to pay anything for it. Instead, they told me that the amount will be debited from the voucher card which they are offering. After convincing through false promises and wrong means, they very smartly confirmed again through some person Balram & then with my credit card number & expiry date of the card, this party then roused to the height of foul play & cheating. And on the above date a fair amount of Rs 6617 was debited from my credit card, when I still firmly maintain that I have not authorized Yatra Travel Pack for this transaction from my credit card!
      I have never given any order to Yatra Travel Pack in lieu of debiting amount from my credit card & the same was not confirmed by me. The merchant didn’t take any kind of Master Card Authorization Log nor any PWD or password to authorize this transaction to claim payment from my card; Nor did I authorize ICICI bank credit card to proceed transaction from my card.

      I received SMS from ICICI regarding this transaction on 09/01/2012 & raised the dispute at vied reference no. FR[protected]. I also blocked the card to prevent further transaction. I have also sent the dispute form to ICICI bank. ICICI bank didn’t inform me about the name of the merchant/details that has done this transaction. I fail to understand how the bank could authorize the transaction when I neither gave my card details to Yatra Travel Pack like CVV No. nor the ICICI delivered One Time Password to my registered mobile no. nor the secure master code/verified by visa password. So how this transaction took place????

      if the bank is anyway going to made the payment despite of any immediate authorization/response from the customer then what is the purpose of all this exercise like securecode etc. where the bank is protecting our interest. Rather the bank seems to be in hurry to make the payment to an unauthorized transaction.

      I repeatedly tried to contact to the numbers of the said merchant yatra travel pack from which I had got calls for these foul but nobody responds at their numbers. Despite repeated attempts I had spoken to Balram from the merchant who simply refused to cancel the offer instead started offering more benefits in the pack. He also refused to provide with the name of the company & its contact details. I have contacted at the help line of Yatra.com but they showed their inability to provide any information regarding Yatra Travel Pack.
      hence i conclude they have cheated me.This means Yatra travel pack have systematically planned to fool people by telling them about great discounts – which in reality is complete eyewash. Yatra Travel Pack is engaging in this kind of practice & concrete action should be taken against Yatra Travel Pack company.

      This amounts to gross business malpractice & Internet fraud. This is the duty of ICICI bank to divulge full detail of the concerned company including their phone no. & complete address to me. I again emphasize THERE IS NO AUTHENTICITY OF THE PAYMENT MADE TO YATRA TRAVEL PACK through ICICI despite of my being raising objection after receiving the transaction SMS.
      It is totally harassment and fraud from yatra travel pack for common people. & frustrating. I have suffered lot & as a common man I am not at all interested in this package in lieu of money! PLS TAKE CONCRETE ACTION & REFUND.

      They are biggest fraudder in the world

        This was the first time I tried yatra.com and sure it will be my and my organisations last time. Till date we were booking on another travel agent portal and were extremely happy. Don't know what got us on this site. We booked the tickets but the when we had to change it no one from yatra.com could assist us. Today 8/1/12, their entire system was down. They didn't even have a backup plan to keep their systems up. The customer service kept telling us to call after 1 hour. We'd call after1 hour with30 mins waiting to connect to the customer care and get the same answer that the system is down. Eventually we called the airline directly and they said we can't change the booking as its booked via yatra.com. They advised us to pay the penalty and reissue a ticket via their phone booking. For verification services they asked us for ticket no. Which is nowhere mentioned on the yatra ticket that we print, so again started the hassle of calling yatra and getting the ticket no. After 30 mins. By then the airline office was closed.

        2 absolutely strong suggestions after my experience:
        1. Booking an airline ticket?? never trust yatra.com.. Book directly with the airline for better service or any other travel agent portal
        2. Yatra.com to change its tag line to "create unhappy travellers"

            I have booked a ticket vide reference [protected]. The second sector of the booking (Trivandru - Delhi) was cancelled on 24the Dec. This was done with the help of customer care executive Mr.VIKAS. The cancellation fee is Rs.250 thro' web site & Rs.300 thro phone Since there was a problem with the website in cancellation he helped me to do it for Rs.250.
            Booking price was 5484/- . After cancellation charges of Rs.1000/- I have to get a refund of Rs.4484/-. As per his instructions Yatra Payment gateway was opened and I paid Rs.1000/- as cancellation charges. Thus I have paid a total of Rs.6484/- (5484 at the time of booking & 1000 at the time of cancellation). I see that a refund of Rs.4384 is refunded to my credit card account.
            In fact, I should get Rs.5484/- as refund credit since I have paid the cancellation charges of Rs.1000 separately on 24the Dec As per instructions of the customer care executive, Yatra Payment gateway was opened and I paid Rs.1000/- as cancellation charges.
            On talking to the customer care senior today he said the at an additional Rs.50 would also be deducted as the cancellation was done over phone
            THIS IS A CLEAR CHEATING BY THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE VIKAS WHO PROMISED ME TO SAVE THAT RS.50.
            THE ATTITUDE OF THE SENIOR IS VERY HAUGHTY.
            YATRA CHEATS YOU TO MAKE MONEY.

              My train ticket was waitlisted and did not get confirmed. I have not got refund of that money. I received a SMS from IRCTC to contact the agent. I booked it online with my yatra login ID. Tried contacting their toll free lines. Its automated with options that are not relevant to my problem. Please help. Expecting a really quick response.

                I have emailed my below complaint to Yatra still have not heard from them. I had the most disgusting experience ever. And will not use yatra services again.

                P.S :- I could not upload the attachments in this website however have successfully emailed yatra.

                I had booked flight for mumbai to Lucknow for 2 passengers 20th Nov (Yatra booking no: 7513543) fly with kingfisher however I received a call from yatra that kingfisher had cancelled my flight.

                So liaising with yatra consultant we mutually agreed to split the passenger’s journey. Passenger Arti singh's flight was asked to be cancelled because there was no convenient flights available on the desired date and passenger Apurv Singh was re-booked into king fisher by yatra for 18th Nov.

                So much so that I had also logged on to kingfisher website on the 17th at 18:55 hours and printed my itinerary (see attached page1 highlighted part). To my surprise when I went to check-in at the airport I was told my kingfisher staff that my ticket was cancelled. Not to mention I had woken up early in the morning to board my flight, was caused stress, humiliation and was treated like a ball from yatra to kingfisher and kingfisher to yatra.

                Kingfisher at the airport gave me a print out (see attached page 2-highlighted part) saying that my booking was refunded on 17/nov at 15:25 hours. So if my booking was cancelled on 17th @ 15:25 then how come I could logon and print my itinerary? They were blaming yatra for the cock up and obviously when i called yatra they were blaming kingfisher, both of the parties were forgetting that in their silly blame game I 'THE PASSENGER' was getting scrutinized.

                I cannot add up in words the 5 hours of torture, mental stress, agony, incovinience, frustration that I and my relatives who came to drop me had to go through. You have very conveniently refunded me the money for original bookings. But I had to travel to Lucknow that same day. Yatra said you could only book flights which were due to fly after 4 hours. The only flight available was in Air India which was due to fly at 10:45am which you were unable to book so I had to re book through air india counter and swipe my brother’s credit card for which we had to pay rs. 22,766.

                Attached is the ticket proof. I was in conversation with your consultant named Kamal at that point of time who was told that I would email with a complaint and that

                To be very honest, the whole experience with yatra which was suppose to be convenient, hassle free was overall a never to remember appalling and humiliating occurrence. I choose yatra to make my flight booking journey simple and easy but instead I got all of the above. I don't really care if it was kingfisher's fault or yours. I have had enough of this, I want refund of Rs 22,766/ plus compensation for all the fuss and disgrace I had to go through which could have been avoided had yatra done their job accurately at the first place.

                I trust that being a reputed firm you would take my comments seriously and act on it. Looking forward for a explanation and refund

                I had asked for quotations for chardham Yatra, Online, started from 13.06.2019 from delhi by Yatra.com on 05.06.2021.

                1.The company has sent email on my gmail account as [protected]@gmail.com, quoting package Rs. around 27000/. I agree for that and ask for payment link but it has mentioned Rs 40032/. for package.

                2. Than I agreed for payment of Rs.40032/ & requested for payment link but it again modified to Rs. 49000/

                3. Now I was feeling that company was forfeiting, mischievous and intentional hiding facts for monetary gains by befooling me.

                4. Than I was again agreed for payments of Rs. 40032/ and request for sending payment link but amazingly this link was for payment Rs. 49500.

                5. From 05.06.2019 to 08.06.2019, I was discussed this matter on phone of customer care of yatra.com continuously for hours but no satisfactory answers has been giving by company call centre.
                6. As, I am patient of bipolar disorder and Repetitive obsessive disorder, hypertension, diabetes, High BP etc. so, you can imagine the degree of cruelty and harassment to a person who is suffererings by bp what effects his mental state from low to hight.

                7. Yatra has started from delhi on 13.06.2019, but I have given a small space on seat in between luggages. I request to driver to sift luggage on carrier but he denied. I again call to custemer care, they whould see it but no arrangement was made ny company to me.

                8. The driver was directly drived the car to rishikesh but itinerary provided to mention me clearly first & last day of package ii.e. 1 night stay at haridwar and are the charging rs. 9500/ but first day they are again & again cheating, bluffing indian citizen.

                9. I have sent my problems grievances to company orally & by email.

                10. My requirements was-

                1. Change my innova vehicle to new group. Or
                2. Change driver or
                3. I do not want to go further without redressal of my grievances. I did not never say for cancellations with any grievance’. The company 's grievance, redressal & compliances system is the worst in my life. The company has lost potent customers due to inefficient, non- communicated, not well versed in knowledge yatra company products & communication

                4. So lastly do all then otherwise refund my fares etc

                11. And Company's call centre persons was totally rude, inhuman, irritating, hypertensive, cheater, bluffer, hiding the facts by asking, so many irrelevant, teasing, questions

                12. Driver of vehicle totally denied in front of policemen of police station on 12.06.2019, to travel with me. Than I was retaliated for yatra employee.

                13. The other yatri was 3 of a single family with one old lady.I has insisted to driver to shift the luggage to carrier but he again he has denied, I asked him that didn't excite me & use of abusive languages in front old lady. All yatri were well sitting including driver. But I are guffed in between luggage. Pictures are already sent.

                14. So at rishikesh, on 14.6.19, driver with 3 other yatri left me in front of policeman in hotel, as fixed by yatra.com. Now I was hanged in-between indore and chardham.

                15. T company Yatra.com refund the money ie. transferred money to my account except fare of vehicle from delhi to rishikesh & 1 night stay at Kaveri hotel at rishikesh.I am totally disillusioned, with feeling of cheating by company, suppressions, dereliction of duties, blatantly intentionally swallowed my money of hard labour.

                16. So this is totally denial my consumer rights, violation of IPC, CrPC for cheating, giving misinformation for economic gains, mental harassment, cruelty to a patient, Unilateral decision without any reason, given orally or written, to me regarding the reason for cancellations so this is Audacious acts of violations of Human Fundamental Rights & Citizen Charter.

                17. So I request you, plz. refund, transferred amount minus above mentioned two deductions to debit card of my self that is used for transsering money to yatra.com.Aftrer non-admission by Yatra.com company and and electronic commications between both representatitves and with others proofs and, that are against you, forcing my selfseft to go consumer’s court, Civil, and ciminal court for securing fundamental rights and in establishments

                  Air India gives 50% discount to Sr Citizens above 63 yrs of age. I purchased a ticket frm Mumbai-Nagpur-mumbai sector on 7-12-11 frm net. Neither I was adviced properly that such concession is available and issued ticket for me but issued regular ticket. Their advertise that their rates are cheapest is wrong and they charge heavily. When talked to them ,One Mr Nikhil,he continued to to argue that ticket issued to me was of service 'U" & 'T' class. My question is was i given any option ( except for Ecconomy/ First class )? Further on that flight :AI627 & AI 630 there is only ecconomy class. Thus the service thru Yatra .com costed me much higher than was required. They failed to give me proper ticket and further continued to justify their action.Will Yatra.com explain and refund excess fare! atleast guide passengers properly in future? Incidently I am properly registered with the company. My Yatra Ref is 838786.

                    On 03.10.2011 on around 6.30 AM we tried to book e-ticket through YATRA ONLINE for 7 passengers (including one child) from Guwahati to Kolkata on the Spicejet Flight SG-874, using SBI Credit Card. Unfortunately, an amount of Rs.23033/- was deducted from the above Credit Card and e-ticket was not generated showing some technical error.

                    We immediately telephone and somebody namely Mr Bikash Singh from YATRA told me to send the Credit Card Statement to them. It may be noted that monthly statement of the above Credit Card is generated on 17th of every month. Hence, we sent the same on 18.10.2011.

                    Subsequently, we received one email dated 18.10.2011 from your end, apologizing for the inconvenience and informing us that due to some technical error our booking was not confirmed and transaction has been failed.

                    Now after several reminders we are become helpless for getting a positive response from YATRA online. Hence, we earnestly request your goodself to look into the matter and help us to get the amount refunded.
                    We are attaching herewith one email, dated 28.11.2011 from YATRA for your reference.

                      i have booked tickets from yatra for two way trip from hyderabad to delhi for april
                      and cancelled in march but from past 9 months i have fooled by YATRA.com
                      officials regularly my pending amount is INR 10000. Still i have not received
                      my refund contrary to this each time they are asking me to check with my bank
                      and saying they have done from their side.

                      YATRA.com is the most fraud company so far i have seen and i have spent around INR
                      3000 on phone bills in talking to their officials but of no use. my yatra ref. no is 6481000
                      even the corporate of YATRA in gurgaon is not giving proper response i have also talked to
                      one lady in gurgaon office but of no use.

                      Yatra people have negative speciality each time you will call you will have to talk to new person and then explain all your problem from beginning

                      I request all people suffered because of YATRA.com to come forward and sue this hell of a mess company

                      Hi am Kumudha, I booked airline tickets through yaatra from Delhi to chennai, I cancelled the ticket before 4 hours.The yaatra has to refund Rs. 16, 455 to me, today is the 75day, till now i didnt get the refund amount.The people in chennai branch of yaatra are saying that we got amount from the airlines and we processed everything and sent to the Newdelhi headoffice of yaatra, and they are not sure why its getting delayed.Help me to get my refund amount asap.

My Departure was Dec 26 2010. I used that ticket. Since i reached Canada, I had to cancel my return ticket which was on May 14th 2011. I have tried contacting Yatra so many times for cancellation, however did not get any response. lately, i tried Jet airways for cancellation on April 6th 2011. They cancelled my ticket and suggest me to collect refund from my travel agent as i paid him for the booking. Since then i have try writing an email, calling Yatra and even complaint on Yatra website, but i am not getting any response and my money is still pending with them. Please help me get my money back.                           This is a complaint against Yatra (official site www.yatra.com). I have booked two air tickets on 30.11.11 having yatra reference number [protected] using net banking.
                          The total amount of 4510 has been deducted from my account via cheque/reference number [protected].The amount has been credited to Yatra as per bank statement. I have confirmed from bank also that the amount is credited to Yatra.
                          But the Air tickets are still showing as unconfirmed. Whenever I call yatra service in the number [protected], they tell that they will check from their cashier department and will revert back after 3-4 hours. But the same thing has happened for 12 times and they are not giving any response.
                          Their attitude is like they have bagged the amount and they don't want to give any clarification to the customer.
                          For last 5 days they are harassing me.
                          kindly provide me some solution.

                          MY concern regarding refund are

                          yatra is claiming that as this tickets are booked under free flight offer which offers us base fare reduction in indigo airlines
                          is not refundable, non changable, and non canceble

                          i agreed to the norms of yatra.com and i duly respect them

                          let me hear the few answers from your side
                          1. first of all my interface with yatra is internet site called www.yatra.com, i had booked the tickets throgh it and cancelled through
                          it. on cancellation screen its clearly shown to me the amount i am eligible for refund, its ammounting to base fare reduction and cancellation charges applicable.
                          on this confirmation i cancelled the tickets. if anybody on this earth is saying that is a default interface and our software dont
                          understand the free tickets rule then its a voilation of internet money transaction protocol. when i press on my net banking account confirmation that i am
                          transfering this ammount to yatra.com its not a default interface. bank will deduct the money from my account for sure.
                          Pls respect the financial transaction protocol, it had taken years to develop it.

                          The interface SHOWS ME VERY CLERALY the calcumated amount that will get refund. after reading that i clicked to proceed.

                          after i click on confirm after a while i get mail that your money cannot be refunded.

                          When i called to customer care they told me that this ticktet is under offer so monet cannot be refunded

                          Please expain me following thigs:

                          Why this information is not displayed on the interface where i cancelled the tickets.

                          That page has information that i have done a free ticket because it gave me the amount deducted for promotional code,

                          if that information is given that time only the page would have give me that amount refund will be ZERO, but it gave me some figure after deductiog amounst like

                          200 yatra charges

                          600 airline cancellation charrge

                          600 promational code deduction.

                          Now i called yatra atleast 3 times expalning them , each time some diffrent reprensatitive will attend the call and i am expaling them all this things and they will tell they will revert back to me .

                          This is case of fraud as on time of bolling u will give me all terms n condition but in same yatra in time of cancellation it was given me amount that will be refunded . ITs a same yatra site then u should have give me amount zero in that interface , this is a fraud information given to me.

                          As i thought as this is also interface by yatra they are giving privelegde to customes who cancle through yatra, coz according to me in any financail transcation will not give me wrong calculation of money. THIS IS TOTALLY A FRAUD DONE.

                          2. secondly its yatra terms and condition that my number will not be shared with any body other than yatra. then why the indigo which
                          i assume is third party in all this transaction had called me about cancellation of flight. i want to know the reasons why yatra had
                          not taken care of informing me, via email or phone number about flight cancellation details, why i had been informed via third party. and
                          why this third party had reschudule the flight which is non changable, as per your terms and condition

                          3. thirdly as per your so called terms and condition the tickets booked under free flight offer are non changable and non cancellable and
                          thus non refundable. as this flight is non changable then via the third party called indigo airlines change the flight schedule.
                          this flight cannot be changable in any case as per your terms and condition.

                          if yatra is the sole authority to govern the flight regulation according to civil aviation rules proposed by govt. of india. Then
                          i request you to give me either compensation as per your comviniance

                          1. Arrange the same indigo flight, from raipur to bangalore on 12 of march, as i had no concerns with indigo, i dont know whats there
                          terms and condition either, i know only one things that this flight is non changable as this is free flight offer. if yatra takes the
                          responsibility of my booking and it governs my cancellation refunds then it should also arrange the alternative arrangement.

                          2. compensate me with equavelent fare which equals to full fare on 12 march with any airlines travelling from raipur to bangalore, i will
                          refer the yatra.com fares for the same on the commencing date.

                          3. compensate me the amount of time i had invested in talking to your call center executive, its nearly equavalent to 4 working days
                          as per my company regulations and prevailing terms and condition it will aproximately come around to 1 lakh INR. (i will submit the
                          duly terms and condition for this)

                          4. compansate me with the false information given on www.yatra.com while cancellation of tickets, its a total voilation of internet
                          money transaction, and its a violation of norms proposed by verisign signatory authority. its a matter of frogery and a criminal offence.

                          5. pls. dont refund me any thing related to cancellation of above tickets, becouse it will voilate the terms and condition of yatra.com


                          As per my knowledge any web interface should work according to industry protocols, its a total violation of norms if on web interface you
                          show some thing and on mail and on call you say another thing.

                              Pathetic Experience with Yatra.com

                              I got a call from Alka of Yatra.com on 26th nov.2011. She informed me that against payment of Rs.6617/- i will be given benefit of Rs. 28000/- consisting of 4 discount vocher of Rs.3500/- , 4 discount voucher of 1000/-, 4 discount voucher of Rs.500 besides other benefits.
                              I asked her to call me in evening. Although i generally dont believe in offers over fone of this nature but as i was planning to visit north east india on 10th dec so thought to give it a try.

                              In evening i got a call again and on my insistence she showed me promotional offer on their site yatra.com.
                              Discount voucher offer looked to me attractive but the moment i statrted reading terms and condition she told me that
                              terms and conditions are old and will confuse me. Then i told her i need some time to understand and call me again tommorow.

                              I again got a call from Alka around 12.27 on 27th nov. I told her that Rs.3500/- Discount vouchers are Holiday Discount Vouchers so these are of no use to me as i ll hv to tk complete holiday package from u. She again insisted me that i can use that voucher against my just Hotel bills and not required to go for whole package.

                              I was recording whole conversation on my mobile phone and informed the same to make me ny committment.Again
                              i asked If i stay in Guwahati for 2 nights costing Rs.2000/- per night in hotel. Will i be able to adjust my discount voucher of Rs.3500/- against hotel bill of Rs. 4000/- she said yes. again i asked then next i ll stay in shillong for two night with total hotel bill of Rs.4000/-, Will i b able to adjust another discount voucher of Rs.3500/-
                              She again told yes. Like wise she kept making false promises.
                              After that at the time of redemption of voucher i was shown true terms and condition which were my apprehensions but sales team of yatra.com rejected my apprehension by making false claim.

                              Then again i approached their Escalation team but of no use.

                              Can anyone guide me how to handle it.

                                This is in reference to your letter dated 21/11/2011 vied file No. 1/C/09/2011/15. Card Account No. [protected] for the following disputed transaction.
                                Transaction Date 14/09/2011 , Amount 6617.00 , Merchant Name : Yatra Travel Pack.

                                I am not at all satisfied with the response of the SCB bank because of following reasons.

                                I still firmly maintain that I have not authorized Yatra Travel Pack for this transaction.
                                In reference to enclosure no. IDBI/Master/ 320 from IDBI Bank dated 01//11/2011 , I have never given any order to Yatra Travel Pack & the same was not confirmed by me. I will like to see the Master Card Authorization Log that they have claimed. I need concrete evidence from the bank ( IDBI ) regarding their claim that I have authorized them to claim payment from my card.
                                Your bank ( SCB ) has also approved the above transaction vied Approval Code No. T 64027. This is also completely wrong.
                                I received SMS from SCB regarding this transaction on 14/09/2011 at 4.10 pm. I raised the dispute at 6.45pm same day vied reference no. 863149 & I talked to your executive named Ms Nandana. I also blocked the card to prevent further transaction vide reference no. 864522. When I asked your executive about the detail of the merchant , they told me that it will take 48-72 hours . Further I received Dispute Declaration Form at my E-mail address [protected]@yahoo.com vied reference no. 886750. I filled the same and immediately mailed back to you a duly scanned copy on 16/11/2011. Even at that time I was not informed by your bank ( SCB ) about the name of the merchant who has done this transaction. So I fail to understand why you authorized the same vied approval code no. T-64027. I neither gave my card details to Yatra Travel Pack like CVV No. nor the SCB delivered One Time Password to my registered mobile no. So how this transaction took place .
                                I will like to know what RBI guidelines are issued to the banks in this regard. And if the bank is anyway going to made the payment despite of immediate response from the customer then what is the purpose of all this exercise & where the bank is protecting our interest. Rather the bank seems to be in hurry to make the payment to an unauthorized transaction.
                                The travel pack was delivered to my address but my father received it in my absence without knowing the actual issue. I repeatedly tried to contact at their help line but nobody responds at this number. I contacted at help line of Yatra.com but they showed their inability to provide any information regarding Yatra Travel Pack. This amounts to gross business malpractice & Internet fraud. This is the duty of SCB to divulge full detail of the concerned company including their phone no. & complete address to me.
                                In the end I again emphasize I need concrete evidences from Standard Charted Bank stating the AUTHENTICITY OF THE PAYMENT MADE TO YATRA TRAVEL PACK despite of my being raising objection immediately after receiving the SMS on 14/09/2011.

                                I will wait for 21 days for your detailed reply for all the issues I have raised in this letter before taking any further action.

WE RUINED OUR FESTIVE MOOD OF DIWALI & NEW YEAR. I ASKED YATRA OFFICIALS ABOUT THE SAME ON PHONE THAT I HAVE COME TO KNOW THAT ITS MUST TO HAVE PASSPORT/ VOTER'S ID FOR EVERYONE SHOULD BE INFORMED TO ME WHILE I WAS BOOKING. THEY AGREED TO GIVE DIFFERENT DATES BY THEIR REPRESENTATIVE MR. SANJEEV BASANT & MR. DEEPAK DESAI. THEY ASKED DATES , I TOLD THAT I WOULD LIKE TO GO IN LAST WEEK OF JANUARY,2012.WITHOUT MY PERMISSION THEY BOOKED MY TICKETS FROM JANUARY 5,2012 TO JANUARY 8,2012. AFTER THE SAME I CONTACTED THROUGH NET TO CRM DEPT. MR. GURPREETSINGH CONTACTED ME & PROMISED TO LOOK IN THE MATTER. TODAY I WAS INFORMED BY YATRA PEOPLE THAT I HAVE TO PAY RS.17000/- APPROX. FOR AIRCHARGES DIIFFERENCE & RS.2100/- TO YATRA.COM FOR SERVICE CHARGES.KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL TO RESOLVE MY MATTER.I LOST MONEY AS WELL AS FAMILY'S TRUST WHICH IS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO LIVE.                                     Dear All,

                                    BEWARE OF YATRA.COM!!!! I purchased Rail tickets on 2nd November 2011 and they charged the amount 3 times from my Credit card , without issuing Tickets. since then i am unable to get it back.

                                    their customer care people's are very rude, they will never reply to your mails. I was in contact with two persons Mr Imran Quereshi and Mr Manas Jha, both of them told me my request has been processed and i will get it back in 3-4 days and now they seems absconding as they are no more replying to mails. even i tried to mail yatra's Chief Customer Experience Officer, but nothing happened.

                                    It seems to me it is a well thought management stategy of yatra.com to cheat people like this to earn some free money. My yatra failed trasaction numebers are DOMIME and YGMIME. i am shocked to see thousand's of similar kind of complaints against Yatra.com on net.

                                    Friends i dont want what happened with me, happens with other person, so PLEASE AVOID YATRA.COM.
                                    i am not worried about my money as i will take it back anyway by filing case in consumer court and will even file for compensation for all the harassment i suffered. But still avoid such pain with such fraud company.

                                    I booked a travel package for 4 adults from Mumbai to Dubai on 5 Jan. After having the discussion with the travel rep. the lady asked me to pay 20,000 INR as the bookign amount online thru Yatra portal. Since then I am trying to contact them desparately everyday and accordijg to them no room is available. They dont have a single bit of shame in taking my money and playing arund with it. If they are incapable in their job they shouldnt have taken money from me.

                                    Being totally dependant the entire travel plan is getting screwed as i did not approach any other travel agent. Yatra has looted me of my confidence and trust besides money.

                                    MY concern regarding refund are

                                    yatra is claiming that as this tickets are booked under free flight offer which offers us base fare reduction in indigo airlines
                                    is not refundable, non changable, and non canceble

                                    i agreed to the norms of yatra.com and i duly respect them

                                    let me hear the few answers from your side
                                    1. first of all my interface with yatra is internet site called www.yatra.com, i had booked the tickets throgh it and cancelled through
                                    it. on cancellation screen its clearly shown to me the amount i am eligible for refund, its ammounting to base fare reduction and cancellation charges applicable.
                                    on this confirmation i cancelled the tickets. if anybody on this earth is saying that is a default interface and our software dont
                                    understand the free tickets rule then its a voilation of internet money transaction protocol. when i press on my net banking account confirmation that i am
                                    transfering this ammount to yatra.com its not a default interface. bank will deduct the money from my account for sure.
                                    Pls respect the financial transaction protocol, it had taken years to develop it.

                                    The interface SHOWS ME VERY CLERALY the calcumated amount that will get refund. after reading that i clicked to proceed.

                                    after i click on confirm after a while i get mail that your money cannot be refunded.

                                    When i called to customer care they told me that this ticktet is under offer so monet cannot be refunded

                                    Please expain me following thigs:

                                    Why this information is not displayed on the interface where i cancelled the tickets.

                                    That page has information that i have done a free ticket because it gave me the amount deducted for promotional code,

                                    if that information is given that time only the page would have give me that amount refund will be ZERO, but it gave me some figure after deductiog amounst like

                                    200 yatra charges

                                    600 airline cancellation charrge

                                    600 promational code deduction.

                                    Now i called yatra atleast 3 times expalning them , each time some diffrent reprensatitive will attend the call and i am expaling them all this things and they will tell they will revert back to me .

                                    This is case of fraud as on time of bolling u will give me all terms n condition but in same yatra in time of cancellation it was given me amount that will be refunded . ITs a same yatra site then u should have give me amount zero in that interface , this is a fraud information given to me.

                                    As i thought as this is also interface by yatra they are giving privelegde to customes who cancle through yatra, coz according to me in any financail transcation will not give me wrong calculation of money. THIS IS TOTALLY A FRAUD DONE.

                                    2. secondly its yatra terms and condition that my number will not be shared with any body other than yatra. then why the indigo which
                                    i assume is third party in all this transaction had called me about cancellation of flight. i want to know the reasons why yatra had
                                    not taken care of informing me, via email or phone number about flight cancellation details, why i had been informed via third party. and
                                    why this third party had reschudule the flight which is non changable, as per your terms and condition

                                    3. thirdly as per your so called terms and condition the tickets booked under free flight offer are non changable and non cancellable and
                                    thus non refundable. as this flight is non changable then via the third party called indigo airlines change the flight schedule.
                                    this flight cannot be changable in any case as per your terms and condition.

                                    if yatra is the sole authority to govern the flight regulation according to civil aviation rules proposed by govt. of india. Then
                                    i request you to give me compensation



                                    As per my knowledge any web interface should work according to industry protocols, its a total violation of norms if on web interface you
                                    show some thing and on mail and on call you say another thing.

                                    I would like to inform you that online ticket booking is a big loop hole which every day crore of rupee online company are making by misguiding the consumer & consumer aren't aware of such fraud i would like to highlight.

                                    Fraud company: yatra.com

                                    Problem: I had booked 2 round trips from mumbai to goa on 17th aug 2011 to 19th aug 2011
                                    due to some circumstance i had to reschedule the returning date from 19th to 18th of aug
                                    Total amount of ticket 7841/-.


                                    I had called up the call center they guided me to the cancellation of 19th aug ticket & they told me both the tickets are canceled and then,
                                    they guided me to book 18th aug ticket at the point of cancellation i had told them what would be the amount of refunded they had mentioned 1800/- to 1900/- and only 1ticket has been cancelled instead of 2 ticket the amount got refunded on 20th of aug was 937.60/- and till i know if ticket are cancelled the tax amount has to be refunded not the base fare, now the company is giving an explanation that tax is refunded & not the fuel charge i would like to raise a question if a consumer have not received/ taken any kind of service why he should he be liable for fuel charge and service tax this is a very serious question because every day plenty of consumer are been fooled on the name of service tax. the time of call made to the call center is on 16th aug 2011 and 17:59

                                    I had booked a ticket, reference number[protected], GAU- Delhi, for 20th Feb 2015 in name of Aaniv Saigal. the ticket was not confirmed and it was stated that refund will be given for Rs. 5, 157/-


                                    I tried calling customer complaints but unfortunately none of your complaints number goes through. i then sent complaint through message.
                                    I got a call later with all my booking details and they said said that they would refund the amount. they asked me for my debit card number and other details including the 3 D secure number which i gave. later i found they had made online purchases through my account.

Before making the payment he call me many time and properly reply on mail but after makeing the payment there is no response from jasvir side. I tried to call customer care but somebody told that i ill receive call back i told that please aggange call back from your seniour becuse you are not help me out he said you will receive call from Mr. PRITAM. but till now didnt recive any call from supervisor PRITAM. Yesterday also i called customer care and told to transfer the call to Mr PRITAM he put my call on hold for 15 mins and then he disconnect the call. is this the servce you guys are providing after taking the payment from guest. Tll now dint have update wether my bookin is done or not.. If i ill not recive call from you then i wiill take strick action against you guys.

                                      i was booked a ticketon 05/11/11 for travelling on 25/11/11 from on line yatra.com,i cancelled it due to change my traveling plan on date 16/11/11.i called their customer care no ,there are no reply and not valid number.when i mail them they reply me that the chart will prepared.i donot know how the chart prepared before 9days of departure of train.

                                      This is with reference to your email dated 19th November, 2011, regarding cancellation, under Yatra reference number BMVVME.

                                      We would like to inform you that the train tickets can be canceled online only on our website, however chart was already prepared for the same and after the chart preparation tickets cannot be canceled as per the IRCTC norms.

                                      After the chart preparation TDR has to be filed after 24 hrs of the departure of time. TDR should be filed within 30 days of departure of train. By filing a TDR you can claim a refund for confirmed booking which was not utilized. The refund is processed after deducting the applicable cancellation charges

                                        I have received a call from Dincy who is working with yatra.com and she explained the product of Yatra Travel Pack and asked for details, details were provided by me as she told no amount will be transacted with confirmation. and she called for confirmation where straightly I rejected and told not interested and strictly told not to debit any amount. But the same day the amount of Rs 6618/- was debited from my account towards Yatra Travel Pack. I tried to customer care number [protected] but the number is out of service and waited for few days, I have not yet received any vouchers. Request to please help me and do justice

                                        I have received call from Yatra.com regarding Yatra Travel Pack worth of Rs.6618/-. so, I will be getting Vouchers for Domestic and international flights from Yatra.com amounting to Rs.14000/- . In addition I will also get some Hotel Booking Vouchers worth Rs.14000/-.

                                        I accepted the deal only for flights booking and not very much interested in Hotel/Holidays booking.
                                        I have given my complete details and amount was deducted immediately from my account, but i didn't receive any confirmation message from them, hence i conclude they have cheated me.

                                        This means Yatra.com have systematically planned to fool people by telling them about great discounts – which in reality is complete eyewash.

                                        I feel this should be brought to the notice of people. I am sure that there must be A Law that “no customer can be forced to accept the terms just by informing him telephonically” – there must be written document with terms which should be signed by a consumer.

                                        I am a common man, I am not at all interest of this package. Please refund my money.
