Dear Sir /Madam,
This is my first air ticket booking (yatra reference no.[protected]..date of booking 10th feb 2012) through yatra.com and the worst experience....I booked a ticket under yatra super saver scheme and packed my bags ,only to know after three hours,that my booking hasn't been made,I called the customer care and after some 15 minutes of waiting I get to know,that for some random reason I haven't got a ticket and they will return the amount to my card.

Now my questions are........

Is this the way yatra behaves with their customer,why didn't they informed me about it (via mail or phone call),what were they waiting for,that I should reach the airport in the morning and figure out about my ticket.

Okey you are returning full amount without deducting anything (I assume),but the amount will reach me in 5-6 working days,and for your fault I will be paying an interest on my card.

Last ,if you don't have seats under super saver scheme,why the hell are you still flashing it on your website...why don't you just remove it...so that someone else doesn't get conned by you people.

I Too have same experience with Yatra.
Yatra Customer care executives are hard to reach. I many times have to wait more than 20min on call but even after that call gets disconnected automatically & you again have to wait for the same period. After trying 5 times and after 1 hr of waiting i managed to speak with executive but there was no help available for ticket booked under super saver pack.
You can not change time, Date, Flight or we can say rescheduling and cancellation is not possible on this ticket.
It's very bad. I suffered a loss of Rs. 9000 due to this policy.

    I had booked tickets from yantra.com on the 6th of February 2012 from Mumbai-udaipur-Mumbai. They debited my account for both the journeys. However, they failed to book my Mumbai-Udaipur ticket and hence I could not travel to udaipur and naturally therefore there was no reason for me to have the return ticket back from udaipur to Mumbai.

    Inspire of the fact that they could arrange for my travel and the cancellation of booking was purely on their part I was told that Rs.800 would be deducted as 'cancellation charge' when infant the cancellation was from their end.

    This is nothing but an easy way to deny passengers their tickets and also deduct charges by cheating. If they are unable to book tickets they should not accept the booking in the first place.

    Such pathetic treatment to consumers under the light of their 'customer is king' motto.

    If you could look into the same.

        respected sir,
        i have tried register my shubh yatra rail card for 3times on 02/02/2012 online... every time processed was failed due to some reasons.. the amount deduct from my account was 556 for three times. total amount 1668.. but still now i have not received my paid amount in my account which is refundable at same time...
        so sir, plz help me to refund my amount in my account as soon as possible.. waiting for ur kind reply...

            I enrolled with yatra Elite Rewards program last month when i was called upon by an executive and told about so many benefits in one go.. Initially I couldn't believe that its true as there was too much in just one pack.. Though i was aware that there would be T & C's involved in it but then i love to play with the T & C's of any such financial product being offered and get the maximum out of it. Using my experience I was able to enjoy the offer to the best of my use and it was a great pleasure being the part of this PLAT5 offer. I enjoyed every bit of it and for that would like to thank the service provider for the services.

              Hi,
              I booked an eTicket from Delhi to Hyd on 7th Feb by means of Indigo via YATRA.COM site.
              I am debited with amount 3,956/- but I am not issued the eticket.
              Whereas I received the eticket for the To journey i.e, from Hyd To Delhi.

              I logged my complaint with yatra but no responses i received. I tried calling the yatra they always say server is slow call after so and so time and when i call they again utter the same sentence.

              Please please somebody guide me how can i fight back to get justice in my case. I have seen many customers have logged the same kind of complains on YATRA.

                I am a member of Airline Travel Agent Yatra .com with login ID [protected]@gmail.com. I purchased a flight ticket online from my Delhi residence through Yatra .com on dated 06.01.2012 as detailed below:

                Flight G8-714 Go Air Ranchi to New Delhi
                Date of journey- 23.01.2012
                Airline PNR- 16FC33
                yatra ref no- [protected]
                Amount:- Rs. 3684/-

                Due to my personal reasons I decided to cancel the said trip on 21.01.2012. I first tried for many hours on 21.01.2012 to cancel the ticket by requesting on Toll Free No. of Yatra .com but I could not get the communication line. Then I requested to Yatra .com vide e-mail dated 21.01.2012 for cancellation of ticket for the above mentioned flight. Yatra .com immediately responded to my request with a letter assuring me that they would respond and communicate and they provided me their Ref. no. 8071172 dated 21.01.2012. After getting their quick reply I was mentally satisfied that my work has been done. After a lapse of 9 days when I enquired about my refund amount against cancellatlion of the said ticket, I got the reply from their representative that my ticket has not been cancelled and therefore, no refund amount is admissible to me.
                It is requested to direct the concerned travel agency Yatra.com to refund the amount as per applicable rule for cancellaltion of ticket.

                  On January 10 , 2011 Yatra.com had provided a customized package to Goa for me and my wife with the following details
                  • Total Fare for the two way Indigo flight for two :- INR 16262

                  • GOA: Sea Horse- Goa (3 Star)
                  Duration: 5 Nights & 6 Days :- INR 6667

                  Inclusions:
                  Airport transfers in Goa by AC Car on sharing basis.
                  Daily Breakfast.
                  Accommodation in Deluxe room on twin sharing basis.

                  I have got the mail for the same from yatra.com .
                  I had confirmed the booking and made full payment of Rs 22,929 on the same day (January 10, 2012). They have send me the flight details on the same day.
                  But still waiting for the Hotel Vouchers. I had been calling daily but still I did get vouchers. Now I am almost tired of calling Customer care but had to call for my booking status.

                  Yesterday (January 27, 2012) Yatra.com called me and asked me to pay Extra Rs 3500 for the same booking.

                  Is it justified to pay extra for the booking which I confirmed and paid the whole amount on the same day. Its looks as if they are harassing me.
                  I think it a case of fraud.

                    I had a booking from Chandigarh to Mumbai for Friday, January 20, 2011 on AIR INDIA (AI-863)
                    Yatra Booking Ref No.: [protected].

                    On January 18, I called the Yatra Call Center to postpone the booking to Friday, January 27, 2011 on the same flight.
                    I was on the phone for close to 2 hours; paid a penalty of Rs.1000 to make the changes.
                    When I received an email from [protected]@yatra.com, the e-ticket still showed the date as January 20, 2011. (Yatra Booking Reference No: 8699610)

                    I called the call center again to ask them about the discrepancy in the date. I was told by another service attendant that it will take an hour for the system to update & I will receive an e-mail in an hour.

                    It is January 26th today & I have not received any mail from them with the updated e-ticket. I cannot travel with the current e-ticket, which is showing my travel date as January 20th.
                    I have been trying to reach their customer service since 10 AM today. I was on hold for over 2 hours, with no response. I have tried all their numbers....

                    On their website, I have been trying to feed my booking reference number & it says "no booking retrieved, feed in correct information."

                    I have written to them to cancel my booking with Yatra as under these circumstances, I have booked myself on another flight.

                    I am highly disappointed in the unprofessionalism & harassment I have faced from an organization like Yatra! I would like a FULL refund (FARE + the charges I paid for the changes).
                    The full refund comes to Rs.7484.00 (Rs.6484.00 + rs.1000.00).

                      I had bought 2 tickets through the Yatra.com website. For some reason I had to cancel 1 ticket.Later I noticed instead of cancelling 1 ticket they added 1 more passenger on my booking. I called and emailed them so many times but NO PROPER RESPONSE. Neither did they ever return my money for 2 extra tickets, which I never used. This website is a fraud for me. I will never trust it and would never recommend anyone.

                          Guys be aware donot take ant offer from yatra .com over telephone. Because they are cheating people by saying half cooked offers.
                          They will trouble you a lot for taking the offer but donnot do the mistake. Because once you agree with the offer you should understand you lost all your money to the gutter.

                          I have accepted the offer of Discover the world in 6700 Rs something. I have got vouchers for hotel booking, holiday packages and airlines which you can not use because the discount is nominal against booking conditions. I have got one duplicate Polo watch which damaged within a week.
                          So what ever the situation do not ever trust these companies over telephone. They are trully cheaters.

                            I booked the dubai return ticket from yatra and due to some circumstances I called up yatra to cancel the ticket. Yatra told me that ticket was non-refundable. I argued with them that I confirmed the ticket staus before booking and nothing was mentioned whether the ticket was refundable or non-refundable. Yatra told me to contact Jet Airways directly which I did and to my surprise Jet Airways cancelled my ticket with 90% refund and asked me to take refund from Yatra. When I called up Yatra again to my shock they started refuting the claim amount.I am awiaitng my refund. PLEASE BEWARE OF BOOKING THROUYGH YATRA. I hope this might help someone who is looking to book ticket through Yatra.

                            yatra.com is literally taking customers for a ride. I bet their CEO is one of those corrupt ex-bureaucrats with links to the utterly corrupt aviation ministry. Now they are giving a buy 1 get 1 free offer. Consumers naturally expect that if they buy a Rs. 2200 ticket under this offer then they will get a Rs. 2200 or lesser amount ticket free on the next flight booking from their site plus some taxes. But look at the way these [censored]s scam people. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.
                            I booked 4 tickets using YATRA.COM-from Del to Gau on 25/7/11 and got it cancelled on 27/7/11.i received a mail from yatra stating that amount will be refunded in 3 days but its already 6days , no refund has been made.I called ,mailed numerous time but i didnt get any positive response.I got a call from yatra ,the person said due to technical reasons the refund couldnt be made and it will take atleast 7days for refund.He was not committal for 1week time.He said it will take minimum 1 week and maximum he had no idea.I warned them of my going to consumer courts but it didnt make any difference.It seems they do this purposely.Dear readers please avoid using YATRA>COM

                              I have booked ticket from Yatra.com in Jet Airways in the name of Kaushal Kishore with ticket number [protected] and Date of Travelling : 23rd Nov 2011 through Yatra Booking Number : [protected] Booking Date : 17, Nov, 2011 with Airline PNR IBWNHF.

                              As I have already cancelled my ticket from Jet airways counter and after several attempts of making calls to Yatra I dropped a mail to [protected]@yatra.com; [protected]@yatra.com stating cancellation of ticket.Please refer to the attachment for reference. I can produce mail conversation wherever required.
                              The customer care service is pathetic. They don't even pick up calls.
                              The amount is also not refunded till now. Its almost a month now.This behaviour is not acceptable from such reputed travel agents.
                              Such portals should be banned as they are misleading people and misusing their money.

                              Please take necessary severe action against them as I am ready to file case against them and take them to consumer court.
                              I want my money to be refunded to my card as soon as possible without any delay.

                              I will never ever use Yatra in future and even report abuse against them in social sites and encourage people not to use Yatra.com for any purpose.
                              Please help me out.

                                Yatra Travel pack/ Unauthorised transaction from ICICI card

                                Transaction Date 09/01/2012 , Amount 6617.00 , Merchant Name : Yatra Travel Pack.

                                Card Account No. [protected] for the following disputed transaction.

                                I am just harassed & frustrated with the above merchant because of following reasons.

                                I received a phone call from Yatra.com for availaing of Yatra Travel Pack in free of cost dinner card & vouchers but while checked my credit card statement Rs.6617/- is debited in my account.
                                Getting on with the details, I got a call from some Mahinder/ Sachin who explained the product Yatra Travel Pack & said this is an offer to me seeing my goodwill as of a hdfc credit card holder. Despite repeated queries from my side regarding how much I have to pay to avail the offers & discounts, they have confirmed me repeatedly that no amount will be debited from my account & I don’t have to pay anything for it. Instead, they told me that the amount will be debited from the voucher card which they are offering. After convincing through false promises and wrong means, they very smartly confirmed again through some person Balram & then with my credit card number & expiry date of the card, this party then roused to the height of foul play & cheating. And on the above date a fair amount of Rs 6617 was debited from my credit card, when I still firmly maintain that I have not authorized Yatra Travel Pack for this transaction from my credit card!
                                I have never given any order to Yatra Travel Pack in lieu of debiting amount from my credit card & the same was not confirmed by me. The merchant didn’t take any kind of Master Card Authorization Log nor any PWD or password to authorize this transaction to claim payment from my card; Nor did I authorize ICICI bank credit card to proceed transaction from my card.

                                I received SMS from ICICI regarding this transaction on 09/01/2012 & raised the dispute at vied reference no. FR[protected]. I also blocked the card to prevent further transaction. I have also sent the dispute form to ICICI bank. ICICI bank didn’t inform me about the name of the merchant/details that has done this transaction. I fail to understand how the bank could authorize the transaction when I neither gave my card details to Yatra Travel Pack like CVV No. nor the ICICI delivered One Time Password to my registered mobile no. nor the secure master code/verified by visa password. So how this transaction took place????

                                if the bank is anyway going to made the payment despite of any immediate authorization/response from the customer then what is the purpose of all this exercise like securecode etc. where the bank is protecting our interest. Rather the bank seems to be in hurry to make the payment to an unauthorized transaction.

                                I repeatedly tried to contact to the numbers of the said merchant yatra travel pack from which I had got calls for these foul but nobody responds at their numbers. Despite repeated attempts I had spoken to Balram from the merchant who simply refused to cancel the offer instead started offering more benefits in the pack. He also refused to provide with the name of the company & its contact details. I have contacted at the help line of Yatra.com but they showed their inability to provide any information regarding Yatra Travel Pack.
                                hence i conclude they have cheated me.This means Yatra travel pack have systematically planned to fool people by telling them about great discounts – which in reality is complete eyewash. Yatra Travel Pack is engaging in this kind of practice & concrete action should be taken against Yatra Travel Pack company.

                                This amounts to gross business malpractice & Internet fraud. This is the duty of ICICI bank to divulge full detail of the concerned company including their phone no. & complete address to me. I again emphasize THERE IS NO AUTHENTICITY OF THE PAYMENT MADE TO YATRA TRAVEL PACK through ICICI despite of my being raising objection after receiving the transaction SMS.
                                It is totally harassment and fraud from yatra travel pack for common people. & frustrating. I have suffered lot & as a common man I am not at all interested in this package in lieu of money! PLS TAKE CONCRETE ACTION & REFUND.

                                same thing happened to me as they gave me some neha miss number but whenever i try to call her the phone disconnects from her side immediately.

                                They are biggest fraudder in the world

                                  This was the first time I tried yatra.com and sure it will be my and my organisations last time. Till date we were booking on another travel agent portal and were extremely happy. Don't know what got us on this site. We booked the tickets but the when we had to change it no one from yatra.com could assist us. Today 8/1/12, their entire system was down. They didn't even have a backup plan to keep their systems up. The customer service kept telling us to call after 1 hour. We'd call after1 hour with30 mins waiting to connect to the customer care and get the same answer that the system is down. Eventually we called the airline directly and they said we can't change the booking as its booked via yatra.com. They advised us to pay the penalty and reissue a ticket via their phone booking. For verification services they asked us for ticket no. Which is nowhere mentioned on the yatra ticket that we print, so again started the hassle of calling yatra and getting the ticket no. After 30 mins. By then the airline office was closed.

                                  2 absolutely strong suggestions after my experience:
                                  1. Booking an airline ticket?? never trust yatra.com.. Book directly with the airline for better service or any other travel agent portal
                                  2. Yatra.com to change its tag line to "create unhappy travellers"

                                      I have booked a ticket vide reference [protected]. The second sector of the booking (Trivandru - Delhi) was cancelled on 24the Dec. This was done with the help of customer care executive Mr.VIKAS. The cancellation fee is Rs.250 thro' web site & Rs.300 thro phone Since there was a problem with the website in cancellation he helped me to do it for Rs.250.
                                      Booking price was 5484/- . After cancellation charges of Rs.1000/- I have to get a refund of Rs.4484/-. As per his instructions Yatra Payment gateway was opened and I paid Rs.1000/- as cancellation charges. Thus I have paid a total of Rs.6484/- (5484 at the time of booking & 1000 at the time of cancellation). I see that a refund of Rs.4384 is refunded to my credit card account.
                                      In fact, I should get Rs.5484/- as refund credit since I have paid the cancellation charges of Rs.1000 separately on 24the Dec As per instructions of the customer care executive, Yatra Payment gateway was opened and I paid Rs.1000/- as cancellation charges.
                                      On talking to the customer care senior today he said the at an additional Rs.50 would also be deducted as the cancellation was done over phone
                                      THIS IS A CLEAR CHEATING BY THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE VIKAS WHO PROMISED ME TO SAVE THAT RS.50.
                                      THE ATTITUDE OF THE SENIOR IS VERY HAUGHTY.
                                      YATRA CHEATS YOU TO MAKE MONEY.

                                        My train ticket was waitlisted and did not get confirmed. I have not got refund of that money. I received a SMS from IRCTC to contact the agent. I booked it online with my yatra login ID. Tried contacting their toll free lines. Its automated with options that are not relevant to my problem. Please help. Expecting a really quick response.
