Hi,
I have made booking of 2 rooms in Hotel Goradias,Shirdi thru yatra.com, agst ref no. [protected] and [protected] for 13th august.
Yatra has charged Rs6786 from my account and after charging and confirming room bookings,a lady called up(from no.[protected] and said that booking has not been confirmed because of non-availability and has left me with no option.
My points are:-
1)How can they confirm bookings earlier if rooms were not available
2)Without confirmation from hotel,how can they send a mail and sms stating that rooms have been confirmed
3)Why they have charged amount from my account if rooms were not there
They are harrassing the customers with their corruptive intentions
PLS TAKE CORRECTIVE ACTION AGAINT YATRA.COM IMMEDIATELY

    I booked a return flight from Bengaluru to New Delhi for 21st October 2011 and return 1st November 2011 on yatra.com. Indigo is the filght carrier. The price shown on the site was INR 7596(Combined). I made the online booking and made the payment. The ticket confirmation page showed that the ticket is unconfirmed and occasionally you will have to pay more if the prices of the ticket have increased. I checked the prices on the website, it showed the same price. I called the yatra.com customer care, they told me the same thing. But I told them that the price is still the same, then they said then you may not be charged and a person will call me in 30 mins. I received a call after some time, their representative told me that the Airlines have increased the prices and my round trip now costs INR 12000. He told me either I should pay the difference or they will refund the money which I will get back in 3 working days. He offered me a discount of 1000, but even at that time I was having options to book air tickets with some airlines much lower than 11000. I asked him for a refund as it was already a Friday and more delay would have blocked my money for more number of days. I just want to say this that when you buy a product or service the other party offers a price and if we agree and pay the price then no matter what the price should not be changed. Take an example of a jewellery shop, we go there and buy a gold product, imagine after half an hour the person calls you and says that the price of gold has increased and you have to pay more.
    Please look into this matter as this is simply harassment of the consumer.

As fares are extremely dynamic, it is possible that when you were processing your booking the seats were not confirmed in that particular class. As a result the booking was not confirmed at back end but the payment was successful. Please be informed that we have taken a loss of INR 1609.41 and confirmed the tickets for your travel.

      Nearly one month ago i had recd a call from Yatra.com regarding 25% dis on purchase in shopping mall items and discount of Travell Vouchers, gift of wrist watch etc. I had given my all details of credit card now a bill is also came and amt of rs 6617/- also debited. Still one month was gone i had not recd anything. There tel no also i am not getting [protected]/[protected] and there business promotional company ie Shift Thought also not reply[protected].
      Kindly do the needful.

        BEWARE OF BOOKING THROUGH YATRA.COM

        I booked my tickets through Yatra online since my relatives told me that I will get a better deal through them. I had a bad experience starting with the booking as my credit card wouldnt get accepted through the Indian portal as I am coming from US. It got rejected couple of times and when I called the customer service and they asked me to book through the US website. Finally I was able to book my tickets through US website for $127.26.

        Now came the real problem. Our plans changed and I had to cancel my tickets. I called the support number and they repeatedly told me that my booking was not done. I had my iternary number and everything and also the confirmation but they kept on insiting that no booking has been made in my name. After many desperate attempts,I took it upon myself and called Kingfisher airlines and cancelled my tickets. They said they will refund the money back to Yatra and I need to collect it from them.

        The struggle continued. I kept calling the customer service but only in vain. They asked to write emails to [protected]@yatra.com and I wrote several of them with no response. Few times they told me that they would arrange a call back from US department but I received no calls. I really got tired now and left the pursuit for my money.

        Yatra should understand that they cant keep swindling their customers. One day justice will be brought to light and it is going to be really hard on them. I am not going to leave it at this. I am going to pursue this through my lawyer once I reach US.

        the following details are my flight bookings and cancellation process. asper customer-care assurance i cancelled it at my choice.they assured me refund of money after normal deduction.but now they says no refund is available.if so how the customer care staff assured me that refund will be made with normal deductions.

        they have cheated me of the hotel booking, they made me to stay in a third grade lodge , i paid 3500/- for this, i stayed for one day i requested for the cancellation, the best part is they said it cannot be canceled, they have charged & ate the money that's it

        I am another customer who is facing the same issues with Yatra. I booked my ticket from Chennai to Bangalore for the 6th of July 2011 in the Kingfisher Red airlines. I will post it separately. But Yatra is doing so much cheating to its customers, I am willing to go the extra step to take them to court when I reach US.

        Yatra.Com totally cheated me of Rs.30,000/-. I was negotiating a Kerala 7 Night 8 day package
        tour. They kept on advising me all the costs for changes of itinerary etc. etc. and requested me
        to pay Rs.30,000/- for confirmation which I did with credit card on the internet. Once I paid up,
        they just kept on saying that they are reverting with details. They did not revert with a single
        detail, upon my query they were absolutely silent. They took Rs.30,000/- & I was left high & dry,
        till the final final date of departure. The departure date was 26.10.12 and has gone & there has
        been no advise whatsoever till date from Yatra.Com.
        They are a bunch of cheats operating from Gurgaon & now started cheating others at Mumbai as
        they have recently opened an office at Link Road, opp Infiniti Mall Andheri(W), Mumbai-400053.
        I believe that this is their regular business of cheating and there are many like me who have
        suffered likewise.

        NEVER USE YATRA.COM.I HVE BOOKED GOA HONEYMOON PACKAGE FOR MY BRO FOR RS 55000/- AND AT LAST MOMENT THEY TOLD ME THAT HOTEL WAS NOT CONFIRMED AND IF I HAVE TO CONTINUE WITH PACKAGE IHAVE TO SHELL 2000 MORE LATER I PAID AMOUNT AND BOOKED SUKHMANTRA RESORT GOA ... IT IS TO BE MENTIONED THAT I WAS ALREADY TOLD BY THERE COMPETITOR THAT WILL DO THE SAME ... AND LATER I FOUND IT TO BE TRUE

        Refunds under Yatra reference No.[protected], [protected] and [protected].
        I had made some 'on line transactions' with M/s Yatra.com and these transactions were subsequently cancelled. The resulting refund has since been returned by M/s Yatra.com on 15 Oct13, as claimed by them. However, the refund has not come to my account till date and my bank tells me that no such refund has been received by the Bank.
        Now, after 2 months+ Yatra.Com tells me that money will be refunded to you via NEFT. To this also 6 days have elapsed but no refund has been received till date.
        It seems there is no responsible officer in Yatra, com who is bothered about the reputation of the org.

          I am completely cheated by Shiftthoughts-Yatra.com
          Certain special terms are never informed which are printed on the overleaf of Vouchers:

          One can use only one voucher of Rs.500.00 per booking of a return flight (which means actually 2 flights). Discount is applicable on basic fare only and not on the total fare. Normally Basic fares these days are in the range of 200/300 only.

          This means Yatra.com have systematically planned to fool people by telling them about great discounts – which in reality is complete eyewash.
          Dear sir,i have given Rs.7200 and got benifts of Rs.200,isn't it compete cheating?

          I feel this should be brought to the notice of people. I am sure that there must be A Law that “no customer can be forced to accept the terms just by informing him telephonically” – there must be written document with terms which should be signed by a consumer

          Yatra.com — Fare - not Refunded

          Yatra.com — fare not refunded

          I have booked a train ticket through Yatra.com on 29/09/2009. Yatra refence no is AIM38C. The Ticket has not processed but the fare has been deducted from my acount. When i mailed to yatra.com they told me to file TDR, whereas while trying to file tdr it is telling for booked tickets only TDR can be filed.Still I have not received the payment
          Still in my booking account, it is showing that the fare will be refunded to your account.

            i have booked air tickets through yatra .com for three paseengers and then cancelled those tickets . they confirmed me about the charges that 750 per passenger will be deducted by Airline and 250 per passenger by yatra. means total 1000 per passenger and a total of 3000 will be deducted. but they deduct 3600 and refund the balance amount. my booking reference no. was 7025653

            Yatra Online — Please refund my Money-Ticket not booked money deducted from the A/c

            Dear All,

            I had booked a ticket from Banglore-Delhi on 15 feb 2008 from yatra .com for Jetlite S2-234 my yatra refrence number is 9LA6QG in the name of Shweta Singh. on the air port i was told that there is no ticket booking by Yatra on my name & Yatra people have not released the payment for the ticket booking to Jetlite.
            i had to book another ticket & i had to pay extra 2000/-for booking another flight as it was an urgent visit to Delhi.

            forget about the Mobile bill which i spent on contacting these people & how much running around has been done my be on the flying date.

            My money is still not refunded & i ve been left without any information.

The problem started when i called on early 13th morning to cancel my Air ticket (Yatra booking ID: # [protected]) scheduled for 8:15 am on the 14th July , the agent informed me that i will be getting a refund of Rs. 3200 if i cancel the ticket. before i could confirm and ask her to proceed, the call got disconnected. When i tried to reach them back, i got the message that we are facing technical diffuculties , call after some time.

              I tried their number every half an hour, but was unable to reach them by 11:15 am. So i decided to drop them a mail at [protected]@yatra.com which is supposed to be their priority cancellation address. I recieved a mail from yatra after two days, that you have had a no show for the flight and a refund of Rs. 300 will be issued to you.

              I have written to them about this issue, but they have not even bothered to respond to my email. I had been a loyal yatra.com customer, and have booked more than 20 tickets with them before. This is the first time however that i needed to contact their customer service. If you plan to book your ticket, beware of Yatra.com service. These people are thieves.

                in this qingdao to guanzhou i dont want to travell than one day before i call yatra .com mr sandap sharma told me that it can not change , but when i call to air line they told that you tell your agent to reissue the ticket there will be no charges , but yatra .com people ask me for 19000 to reissue the tickit
                when i called them again and again and so much request them then they reissue the ticket after taking 1000 rs

                I had booked a ticket online through M/s Yatra.com on 2.12.2009 for Mumbai - Kolkata sector by Indigo airlines. The cost of ticket was Rs. 4729.00 which I paid through my credit Card. However immediately after verification of credit card transaction, the internet connection with M/s Yatra.com got lost.

                After several attempts to contact M/s yatra.com over telephone I learnt that request for purchase of ticket had been registered with them under reference no. VDH3ZC; however ticket was not confirmed as payment had not been received.

                On checking my unbilled credit card statement online, I found the amount of Rs.4729.00 debited to the card in favour of M/s Yatra. Despite several attempts I could not contact M/s Yatra.com over telephone - their phone is normally busy and when if one gets connected, the IVR system asks to wait for travel executive, and the wait turns out to be endless.

                Finally I lodged a complaint with the company through their feedback email address. I was advised to mail them scanned copy of bank statement in pdf. format. I sent them a screen shot of my unbilled transactions statement stating that the credit card statement was not available as it follows a particular cycle and is not issued on call.

                In reply M/s Yatra.com stated that they were not able to open the file sent by me and insisted on scanned copy of credit card statement. Incidentally, I received credit card statement on 8.12.09 and tried to send a scanned copy to the company. I made several attempts to send the copy but every time there was an error message that the domain server of the addressee rejected the mail. To test, I sent the CC of mail to another address of mine where it was succesfully delivered. It appears there is some manipulation on part of M/s Yatra.com that in such cases they insist on sending statement in pdf format which perhaps is not accpetable to their server.

                After failure to send the statement, I again contacted the company over telephone and after many attempts could talk to thier executive and after telling her my inabilty to send the statement through email, asked for an alternatve method like fax to send the same. The executive stated that statement could not be acepted through any other mode. She however asked me to hold the line and vanished - after waitig for more than 20 minutes I had to disconnect the phone.

                Thereafter I sent an email to the company stating that I apprehended some foul play and sought an alternative method of sending my statement to them. I also threatened to lodge complaint with appropriate authority in case a satisfactory reply was not received.

                Today I have received a mail stating that full refund had been raised to my account and i should be getting my money in 7 working days time.

                My question is if M/s Yatra.com had received payment, why they did not issue ticket but kept on insisting for statement. And if they had not received the money, how are they refunding it now without verifying my statement. There appear to some serious malpractices going on.

                Further, in the mean time the price of ticket in the same flight has gone up from Rs. 4729.00 to Rs. 5679.00 and therefore there is no reason for me to accept refund at this stage. I insist of ticket being issued and also compensation for harassment.

                Looking for a suitable redressal of grievance and also action against the company if they have resorted to any malpractice.

                  I had booked a tour from Yatra Online "Europe Jewel" for 15 days for two person. After booking we had applied for Visa which were rejected.. But we had already paid yatra around 1.7 lacs as per there requirement. But since we didn't get the visa Yatra people have said that they will deduct Rs40,000/- per person as the flight tickets and hotels were already booked. I dont understand how can anyone book tickets and hotel before getting visa? since we are two o[censored]s they have charged us Rs 80,000/-..

                  Please anyone tell me how do I go about this should I file an F.I.R against the company as they are not refunding the amount after deducting the charges that is Rs 80,000/-.

                  I do agree that if we cancel the tour from our side you can charge as per the agreement but why would anyone charge for cancellation done by Visa Consulate?

                  Further they should have also clarified this charge of Rs 40,000/- before taking the money from us which they havent....If they clarify this charge in the start I dont think anyone will be interested in gamble for Rs 40,000/- per person which souly depends on Visa....

                  I would please require inputs from anyone which will help me get the money back...Visa charges cannot be refunded which is logical but not the fine of Rs 35,000/- :(

                  my name is anand kothari i have applied for yatra platanium card for that purpose i have give my proof of xeorx of ration card & pan card & i have sign a paper for signature purpose. you have rejected my application for the card so i want my paper back. so pls returned my paper as soon as possible.

                  Yatra Online — Cheating on Internet transaction

                  I have made a booking on 24th Dec 2010 in Kingfisher Flight IT 331 through Yatra Online, Reference Number : PXKVGE for for my wife and daughter and another ticket with Yatra Reference Number : T68VGE for myself (undersigned) for travel date 25th Dec 2010 from Mumbai to Delhi under a scheme whereby I was to get 2 Rebook Watches worth Rs. 2500 each. The same was confirmed by their executive on phone and on mails while the transaction was happening.

                  Since then I have been following up with the Yatra Customer care executives and through email correspondances. My call once connected is put on hold for half an hour and then disconnected every time. In addition, I have been given false promises of different dates of delivery on mails from Yatra. However, recently I have been told that the matter is under investigation and they will get back to me asap.

                  After one month of non stop follow up by calling them and on mails, I was told that I will get the watches within 3-4 days in Mar 11, which again never happened. Thereafter, in Apr 11 on my stating that the case is being given to consumer court a mail came that the watches will be delivered within April.

                  Request Indian Consumer forum to help me in getting my watches alongwith a compensation of Rs. 1 lac for emotional harrassment and wastage of productive time in corresponding with yatra team of bonafide customer.

                  This will also help in such sites becoming more and more aware of customer rights and start becoming responsible and start delivering their contractual obligations after taking money basis some undertaking.

                  It seems my complaint has gone unseen by YATRA team...Where in my complaint did I mention about not getting the remaining amount..I am complaining about the charges which u people have applied...Either you have not understood the issue or ur reply is just to fool other people who see ur message stating "we will dispatch the amount".

                  One thing which can be easily seen in your reply is that not only u people mis-sell the product but also send replies which are not worth the question.

                  Anyways I will tell u what we have done in these days...Yesterdaty we met the yatra team some manager name Purviii she said that we will deduct Rs34, 000/- per person for cancellation of trip due to visa rejection and nothing further can be done.

                  When asked about why they dont inform customers about charges that customer has to bare if his Visa is rejected...Answer was if we say this to customer why any one go with yatra for tour?...

                  If this is the case than take word for it..This mis-selling process has to stop because it is not about some Rs100/- product but a holiday which is in almost Lacs...

                  Fooling senior citizens and taking money away from them would not be that easy in City like Mumbai :).

                  Further, my mother will be reporting this 420 Matter to the nearest police station before tuesday.

                  Shelom pareira was the executive who sold us this product and were only said over the call that if we cancel the trip then there would be charges.

                  Also we will see to it that this charges are mentioned in all your future sales as this is the biggest drawback and no one should suffer because you want to meet your sales target and company want to meet turnover...

                  thanks for the feedback on Yatra. A group of families were planning a trip to Europe and considering Yatra.com.

                  However based on your feedback and high cancellation charges even in case when Visa is not issued, when the customer showed full intent of travel but could not due to reasons beyond his control but part of the process of making the trip organized by Yatra - we have collectively decided NOT TO CHOOSE YATRA for travel services.

                    When I booked the Domestic offer I have been assured from shiftthoughts.com/ yatra.com side that I will get domestic flight offer worth of 22,000/- .So many terms and conditions on Vouchers which they have sent to me which was never explained me on phone.
                    They told me the offer is for domstic flightbooking at initial call made to me and i agreed upon that and paid rs 6616 .Instead of 22,000 of flight voucher,they provided me voucher worth of Rs2000.
                    Voucher worth of Rs18,000 for holiday packages which I didnt asked for.
                    In simple term I was interested in domestic flight vouchrs worth of Rs22,000.
                    Its cheating.Its like You have orderd Pizza and you will get paratha,cake

                    I am sure yatra.com using third party like shiftthoghts.com to sell thier product so that nobody will point fingr at yatra.com.

                    Yatra travel voucher is fully fraud i purchase internationally travel voucher for 6999. they commit lot of thing and i am not able to use any one which they commited.

                    For example
                    I can use holiday voucher for hotel stay in any hotel in india even for single day.
                    i can use flight return voucher for one way ticketing also.
                    I can use 2 voucher for same transaction.

                    but when i call to book a hotel through my holiday voucher they are not ready to book.

                    What a cheat scheme they are running i will drag yatra to court i have in written mail also and same mail has been forwarded to surgeet singh but no action is taken till now.

                    Please help me to resolve my issue ASAP.

                      This is CNT ,who went to your Leh package last week from 11th to 19th June ,2011 Ex Ahmedabad dates.

                      This is to inform you that, we have ever experienced such unorganized package yet.

                      All around 30 yatra tourists were stressed due to your mismanagement.

                      In fact, one tourist is going to complain yatra higher ups & another has suppose to go for FIR .

                      You can ask to Auspicious hotel ,Leh for the further details on above cases.

                      Below were the problems mainly we faced during our trip:

                      1. We had to wait for an hour at Leh airport for pickup to Leh hotel.

                      2.We all , (group of 30 people all were from Yatra ), had to wait again 3 hours at Auspicious hotel's reception to get our already BOOKED room.

                      Thus First day 4 Hours we have waited after reaching Leh to get our Rooms.

                      You can imagine after tiring journey how we feel to seat at reception for 4 long hours.

                      3.At Nubra Velly , as per itinerary you show we will have
                      i. Camp accommodation

                      then you sent us voucher one day ago only for Standel hotel ,Nubra Velly

                      And we actually stay at Hotel Sand Dunes as there were NO Rooms available at Hotel Standel also as per our already BOOKED hotel voucher.

                      4. We didnt get Airport transfer on last day , even your travel guide informed us to be ready at 5.30 am for the airport transfer. But there were NO cars till 6:15 am.

                      We all were waiting , 6 families for the same.

                      Luckily we got taxis at early morning & got to catch our flight.

                        I booked a flight ticket in the name of Siddharth Mohanty on 5th june ard 2pm through Yatra .com. Flight -Indigo 5.20pm 6th june,from-Hyderabad-Bhubaneswar through my debit card (inr 4200/). Now my account is debited but the ticket is not confirmed /received. After immediate complaint/s we received nothing but blank assurance. Its 6-30pm now and we dont know the status. My son Siddharth has to return tomorrow. We are disturbed, stuck and harassed.Needless to say about my money. Pl take action immediately.Any attempt to contact Yatra seems futile.

                          Hi,

                          We booked a Corbett Trip through YATRA office at Galleria, Gurgaon and had a very bad experience. The YATRA people confirmed our booking at CORBETT HIDEAWAY for 2 nights 3 days (21st to 23rd April 2011), the package included jeep safari also. YATRA people took the entire payment (Rs 23800 for 2 rooms, Rs 3500 for jungle jeep safari and Rs 11000 for car) upfront. However when we reached the hotel, the CORBETT HIDEAWAY representatives told us that we had no booking and YATRA has not transfered any money to them. After having arguments/ discussions for 4 hours and with almost no support from YATRA people we managed to get an inferior room in the sister resort of CORBETT HIDEAWAY i.e. RIVERVIEW RETREAT but without a jeep safari for which yatra had charged us Rs 3500 upfront. We think that this is a cheating and fraud by YATRA, first we were not given the rooms in the hotel we booked and then we got no jungle safari. What the hell will a person do in CORBETT without a jungle safari?

                          Please find the travel vouchers in the chain mail below. We request you please lodge this complaint and get our money (Rs 27300) refunded.

                          I agree with Mr. Kaushik. I booked holiday with Yatra for Marutius vide Yatra ref no. 6422799 for 4 star deluxe accommodation. At last minute Yatra informed us that the booking in that hotel is not available and instead they arranged in inferior hotel. We had to chase Yatra guys to get us travel voucher. Yatra Online cheats and harass its customers. I invite to form forum to fight such cases and encourage to file suites in consumer protection courts.

                            Hi, I am Ruchi from Bangalore .Few days back (9th May) I got a call from Yatra.com regarding their discover the world holiday plan syaing i have been selected one of 150 customer to get this offer,they informed me that once I buy their offer for Rs. 6999/-, I will get the vouchers worth Rs. 40000 (Rs.18000 for international holiday & Rs. 22000/- for domestic holiday).I bought that holiday voucher of 5999 Rs Domestic and when I tried redeem that vouchers, IFirstly I had to struggled 5-6 days to reached the attendant, i just waisted my money and Time on them except hering music on wait call,, Finally one day able to connect to booking Dept.,booking department inform me that I can redeem only one voucher of worth Rs.1000 for Hotel orone holiday voucher of Rs.3500/-, which they manipulated while selling when i asked Only One voucher. But Mr. Jay from yatra Team misguide me saying madam you can use 14000 and 4000 Rs total 18000 Rs voucher for holiday. I asked for my money back but they said I have to contact Sales Team ve. While selling their voucher Yatra.com salesman told me that I can redeem my voucher any time I just need to call him.I want to plan to Goa in Dec. they are bsaying only 3500 Rs voucher can be used for holiday and onle one 1000 Rs if i only booke hokel. I have been misguide , cheated by Yatra.com just to increase their sales. In future i am not going to use Yatra service to book airline or other serivce , ATTENTION OTHER I[censored] R GETTING SUCH CALL. ATTENTIN!!!!!! .

                            Looks like I am also being cheated the same way. Someone from Yatra.com called on my mobile and gave the same offer. I asked her the reduction in price that I can get if I take this offer for a Bangalore-Calgary return ticket. She said she will check and get back to me. After a while, she called back and said the actual fare of the the return ticket is Rs. 61, 000 and if I take their offer I can get it for Rs. 43, 000. She even explained the maths to me saying if I add Rs. 7, 000 (the cost of buying the offer), I stand to gain by spending only Rs. 50, 000 for the ticket costing Rs. Rs. 61, 000. After that I paid nearly Rs. 7, 000 online with my credit card and purchased the voucher. And yesterday got their email saying I am eligible for "Eight International Air Ticket voucher worth Rs. 1000/- each – Total value Rs.8000/-" !!! When I sent an email requesting explanation, another lady is telling "Sir, we cannot refund the money, we will send you a Polo watch worth Rs. 3, 500" !!! I am now trying to get my money back. So Folks, beware of this Discover the World Offer from Yatra. You may end up discovering how easily they can cheat and wearing a Polo watch!!!                             This is not really a complaint but a review note for customers like me.
                            I too got a call saying if I pay Rs.6024, I am getting travel vouchers (including 4*500 domestic flight, 4*1000 domestic hotel, 4*2500 domestic holiday, 4*1000 international flight, 4*3500 international holiday) worth Rs.27000, plus a polo watch worth Rs.5000 and Money Saver Card for shopping purpose with which I can get discounts starting from 10 to 25% depending on the outlet I am shopping at. They said I can use this card for unlimited times per day and I can shop from Rs.10 to Rs.10 Lacs. To be really frank,

                            1. Travel vouchers can be used only 1 at a time that too on basic fare of your ticket (only return tickets meaning that u ll have to book both onward and return from yatra) which is not going to help much. I personally feel tickets are cheaper on other websites sometimes. Better watch out.

                            2. Polo watch is still Ok, looks like all the payment is just for the watch, now not sure if that watch is really of Rs.5000.

                            3. Money Saver Card is completely waste for people residing out of Delhi and NCR as they have very limited outlets (not visited too often by common people) for other locations which again have terms and conditions, for a few of them, the validity even expires. It's utter waste. I felt like throwing it after looking at outlets and expiry. I mean hell, u cant buy diamonds everyday or go for some skin diagnosis everyday.

                            Friends, even i[censored] get multiple calls like this, please say NO!!! It's just business which common people wont understand ;).. listening about Polo watch makes the offer more fancy..as they know how human mind works..lol :D

                              I am placing this complaint on behalf of Mr. Debiprasad Haldar alias D.P. Haldar. This is in regards to his wish to travel to Europe with his wife for a holiday. He is aged 63 and is not so active as used to be but inspite of these, Yatra.Com have provided services of highly inferior quality and have behaved as though there interest was to only take money from us but not provide the service. As such ahve been forced to complain.

                              We had been in touch with Mr. Saroj Jena of Mumbai office, Mr. Mayur from ideal solutions for Visa, Spoken to Shalini Sharma Mumbai Office and Supratim Dasgupta from Kolkata Salt lake office.

                              To satrt with, Yatra states that all their respective offices are capable to handle all issues concerning customers at anytime and as mentioned by Saroj Jena they have a common customer base that is accessible by all their offices wherein they can get all details owing to one particular customer and their travel details. As such when asked why they are always hesitant to respond to my parents queries theor quick response is its not done from Mumbai office but Kolkata office as such they should handle the same.
                              So falsify their own selling points. This same point was reiterated by shalini Sharma and Supratim Dasgupta.

                              As they are the vendors, as per a customers understanding post selling their package to us they are suppossed to inform us of what when next to do. Which in this case we as in the customers have done as they havent bothered for once to give us any assurance that we are in good hands and our travel arrangements will be sorted by them.

                              Secondly they have a VISA application collection and checking centre that is where Mr. Mayur. Once the application is filled it was accompanied with all asked for documents (which as per us was not sufficient and correct because we have travelled abroad and in this very case U.K. thrice in the past and had done our own documentation and never faced any troubles but knew and felt that info asked to be provided was less) which were to be checked at the collection centre and then forwarded for VISA stanping. Well looks like my aged father might not have done the needful (As per Mr Jena) because the VISA was rejected. The reason mentioned was that my father's pay slips were not attached and as well my mother who is a housewife was shown as working in the same organization as my Father. Which i understand cannot have been committed by my father as he is aware to the extent the VISA applications are scrutinized. And having recieved VISA's on earlier occassions it was a shock to receive a rejection based on above mentioned reasons. On cheking the copy of the form submitted we found the statements to be incorrect as both the mistakes so to say were not made by my father as he had kept the complete set zerox. Now come to think of it who could have made the mistake. Definitely the collection and verification centre. And they are not available right now to comment. And as normal Mr. Jena who initially did not bother to mention that fact that only if Mumbai office does the booking I take care or Delhi office is to take care and did not inform the customer regarding the booking options is in denial of the fact that he as a service provider on behalf of Yatra is supposed to immidiately take the necessary steps and check wat went wrong and if any major issues to apologise and refund the money on the least.

                              They are not ready to do any of these and my parents at this age is suffering a loss of money and tension stress separately. My father being a heart patient has been so stressed that he is started feeling sick now whereas the sole reason for employing Yatra was to reduce the strain of having a Holiday after all thats what these Travel and Holiday agencies advertise.

                              Request some assistance with this situation and some respite from these sort of servers.

                              We understand the reasons for VISA rejection quite cleary, but, we were not guided in any ways by you or your vendor Mayur so as to submit documents in a proper order. We were assured severl times (before we made any payments that is (!), that you will be "assisiting us in all eventualities", we have received a complete mess of a service from your end. Your mumbai executives say "since the booking is done from Noida office, we will not help you"! Your Noida executives do not even bother to respond to the several phone calls and e- mails regarding simple requests the actual travel itinerary!

                              We sincerely do not know what will be the fate of your investors in your forthcoming IPO.

                              In any case, we are taking up the case to consumer courts since we have all the evidence supporting our claim for a full refund and damages on account of mental agony, wastage of time and money etc.

                                        I wanted Yatra to reschedule my ticket. But due to some technical problem in their office. They said we will call you letter after resolve this problem. But after 5 min. I got to know from my HDFC bank msg. that 2801/- has been debited from my account I checked my account statement it was shown that 2801/- has been credit to Yatraonline company though my ticket was not reschedule I called Yatra helpline team they agreed and said yes we received 2801/- amount from your account. Within 7 days you will get back money in your account. All most 2 months has passed I got fed up. I keep calling them daily bases and mail them every fort nightly . But there is no positive response from Yatraonline service side…
