I had booked thailand holiday package for my parents thru yatra. It has been a very bad experience. The hotels booked were bad and some had cockroaches as well. The management was bad. There was no clarity in the trip and the local tour guides from yatra who were supposed to escort my parents in thailand were extremely rude. They were late for the trip (which is part of itenary) and made my parents waste a lot of time in the hotel rooms instead of sight seeing! The travel buzz people there are sooo extremely rude with the tourists. The half day city tour included in the package was a mere waste and eye wash. The tourists are forced to enter some jewellery shops and kill thier time there just because the travel guides will get commission. They had to spend most of thier time in such shops and it was a torture. We go for sight seeing and not helping someone with commission!
My parents had thier return flight at 10:30 PM and the local guide was supposed to pick them up and drop in airport. He forced them to checkout and sit in the airport from 4:00 PM. They had to sit for 6 hours in the airport doing nothing. When asked about being dropped so early the agent was just rude again and asked them to take it or leave it!

It is extremely dissapointing and my parents really had a bad time there in a foreign land. I am repenting that I trusted yatra and sent my parents thru them for thier first international trip. Now they are hesistant to travel anywhere else due to thier experience with yatra.

PACKAGE TOUR BOOKING — NON REFUND OF BOOKING AMOUNT TAKEN

I booked a package tour BANGALORE-TIRUPATHI-BANGALORE for travel on 19th December,2010. I booked on line through [protected]@yatra.com. During the process of booking, after filling up all details, and making my payment through my credit card, the transaction abruptly stopped and there was no confirmation of booking from Yatra Team. However full charges of the travel was drawn from my credit card account.(Rs.3920/-) I have been making correspondance since the date of booking ie:[protected]. Till date I have not received my refund amount. Every mail yatra team replies your refund is under process and you will get within 4-5 working days.

Please advice me legal option opened to me for taking up the matter.

If that is seriously true even I will sue let it any of the travel company.

Its good that Yatra took initiative to inquire further in this matter but this will only be appreciated if traveler can write here, how did yatra responded to this. What did they offered as a compensation or was the traveler happy with compensation if given.

    We had booked Kashmir package from Yatra.Com for 3 adults & 8N-9D MAP plan basis. We had been in contact vide mails and telecon with Yatra.Com representative (Mr.Bhawar Singh Rathore), who is located at Gurgaon office, regarding our tour details and also the payments. As per the itinerary provided to us and also the holiday voucher, we were supposed to have either a 3-bedded room at each of the hotels or an extra bed provision for the 3rd adult. It was to our greatest disappointment to see that, on reaching, we were only offered a bedding at Hotel Poshwan (Gulmarg) and Hotel Pamposh (Srinagar) & a "Khatiya" at Hotel Highlands (Pahalgaom). We had been in touch personally with Mr.Bhawar (Yatra.Com) and Honeygold retreats pvt ltd (Yatra.com approved local tour operator at Srinagar) but each time we were suggested to either take the bedding and sleep on the floor or to adjust on the double bed itself. Also we were provided vegetarian food at Canberra Houseboat at Srinagar and very limited non-veg food at Pahalgaom and Gulmarg respectively though our preferences were specifically conveyed to Mr.Bhawar beforehand itself. This has been a show o[censored]tter negligence by Yatra.Com though it boasts of being such a reputed travel operator in India. We, therefore, seek an apology with a justified compensation for all the harassment we underwent in this holiday package.

      Dear Sir,
      I booked a ticket on line from Yatra.com from Vadodara to Guwahti via for my sister Ms Maya Dasgupta. Since there is no direct flight from Vadodara to Guwahati I chose the option Multiple City for Domestic Flight and chose the following option.
      Leg 1 : Vadodara to Delhi Indigo Flt 6E 482 Leaving Vadodara at 09:55 on Nov 19
      Leg 2 : Delhi to Guwahati Spacejet SG 893 Leaving Delhi at 15:20 on Nov 19
      This leaves her sufficient time to catch the connection at Delhi. There was no message that I can not use multiple airlines. The software accepted my selection and asked me to continue on to payment screen. I got a messge ‘ THERE IS A CHANGE IN FARE ‘ I do not remember if I have accepted or ignored it. The next screen asked for details of the passenger and details of the contact person making payments which I entered including details of the credit card. The system displayed the flights which I have not checked very well and proceeded with the payment. After making the payment the details of the ticket has been displayed and I was awestruck to find that the ticket has been issued for her on Indigo Flight 4E 488 leaving Vadodara at 20:35 on Nov 19 and reaching Delhi at 22:05. And more surprising is that she has been issued a ticket on Indigo Flight 6E 221 on Nov 19 leaving Delhi 05:35 AM.
      Immediately I contacted 1800 line and talked to the Yatra.com representative first and then his supervisor Mr. Mubarak Ali Khan and ask him that how can Yatra issue a ticket from Vadodara to Delhi at 20:35 on Nov 19 and the connecting flight from Delhi in the early morning of Nov 19 at 05:35 AM. His response was a) you should have checked before paying and b) we issued 2 PNRs. My request was to reschedule the flights as per my selection entered. I was then told that any way they cannot issue multiple airlines ticket in a single transcation so they can not help me. So I requested that please refund the amount without any cancellation charge and I shall buy 2 separate tickets. He confirmed that the total cancellation charge will be Rs. 2600 and that they cannot make an exception.
      I pointed out that it is physically impossible for a passenger to fly from Vadodara at 20:35 and time travel to connect an earlier connecting flight. His point was we issued 2 PNRs, what it means I do not know. I have not cancelled the flights yet and request you to ask Yatra to refund the full amount and stop the multicity booking option or not allow selection of multiple airlines. I have already booked the tickets from Indigo and Spicejet directly. The copy of the Yatra ticket is attached. Please note that I made only one transaction and there is a single booking no.
      Please let me know if you want me to give any additional detail.

        I booked a ticket from mumbai to rajkot on 10-sep-2012 03:28:37 pm and cancelled the same on 22-sep-2012. Yatra.Com informed me through mail that the amount (rs.722) will be credited to my account within 4 -5 working days, that too after myself sending emails to them enquiring about the refunds. Today one full month elapsed nothing beyond assurance mails from yatra.Com. Please let me know to whom we have to lodge a compaint about these ? My Yatra Reference No. is WC7WIG

          YATRA BOOKING REF 7V8JJS TICKET:AI/ETKT 098 [protected]
          I have made a booking at Yatra lounge Park street kolkata 700016 for a flight from Air India from Kolkata (India) to Frankfurt (germany) on 10th August 2011.
          Flight from kolkata to frankfurt dated 25th August 2011 .
          Return flight from Frankfurt to kolkata 31st October 2011.
          However due to unavoidable circumstances i was unable to take a flight back from Frankfurt to Kolkata.
          Since there was no show for the return flight and after contacting the Air India office they told me that my tickets are valid for 1 year from the time of booking for flight schedule change ba paying a fee of 100 euro approx of i can ask for cancellation and getting the amount refund after a cancellation charge of approx 50 euro and Yatra fee ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 500.
          I contacted Yatra Agent name Paltu Chakraborty throught email and then phone asking him to cancel my tickets on 3rd June 2012.
          Mr Platu Chakraborty assured me that he has forwarded the request to yatra concerned dept for the cancellation and my refund will be credited into my icici bank account through which i have paid for the flight within 2-3 months.
          Now it has been more than 3 months and i can say almost 4 months still i havent received any refund from Yatra and on contacting him a month earlier he told me that his department has been changed so i should write an email to Deepjyoti Guhathakurta and also CC an email to Sonia Mehta who is the head of yatra office park street .
          Upon his request i did the same and it has been more than 4 weeks still no respond from them .
          I have contacted the yatra customer support and they keep telling me that they have forwarded the request but the yatra office from park stree isint responding .
          This is like a highway robbery ..

          yathra.com — No Refund

          Hi,
          I have done a domestic ticket cancellation on 1st June.And i had to call the customer care 12 times to get the refund for both the tickets.First time,only portion of the amount for the first ticket cancellation refund was got.Again i had to call 2 times to get the balance refund.
          And for the second cancellation, i have been calling the customer care every other day.And the person who answers always used to say that the refund is done.I have even got a mail from yathra.com confirming that the refund is done on 12 th June.Till now i haven't recieved the amount.
          Today when i called up the customer care, i am told that the refund is initiated now.
          It is highly unprofessional from your side to deal with the customer like this.
          Loosing trust of a customer is as good as loosing the business.
          I will never recommend anyone to get the services dione through yathra.com.

          dear sir/madam

          this is intimation that i have credit card gold card no.XXXX XXXX XXXX 0095 in the name of K.Balasubramaniam . i have received call from yathra.com they give discount such booking through sbi card this is told me yathra .com but no charge done by your card but ask card no. cvv no. date birth , and debited amounts rs. 8026/- this is first time got the problem please i dont know weather cvv no. given problem will occur.

          date: 28.3.2011 sbi consutumer care called and tell them they told mail through complient registrar . than will conform after take solution .

          these kind of the fraud complaint will take immediate action and give me hope of postive result for me .
          Ticket for Pune Delhi was booked on 13/06/2013 vide refrence no[protected] PNR No QU7DAN due to some reasons same was cancelled on phone no [protected] on 19/06/2013. Refund of the same has not been received til 26/06/2013 till evening.If you failed to return myrefund within
          two days i shall knock the door of consumer court.Treat it most urgent.

            The Air fare From Coimbatore to New Delhi on 11th November was showing Rs.5469 in Yatra.com .I was given a Discount coupon also when i put that discount coupon on site It showed page error.When i called Customer support of Yatra.com The said the ticket rate is 5969.How can they charge more amount.I know 125 is processing fee.But they said 500 Rs More.When i asked the person why is this happening he scolded me and said we will charge 5969 only.Do whatever you want to.

            I think the company should be given punishment for that

              I tried to book on 8/8/2012 an air ticket from yatra.com through SBI internet banking. Confirmation of payment was also made but due to their system problem ticket was not generated and ticket price amounting to Rs. 7596/- was debited in favor of Avenues India Pvt. Ltd. from my account. After series of contact with the concerned customer support of Yatra.com, I got a mail stating the payment was not charged to them. If the the payment was not charged to them nor reverted to my account, then where it lies? Please look into the matter and take necessary action at an earliest. Already 10 days have been passed from the date of making booking effort. You you may mail or contact me if any further feed back is necessary. Thanking you.

                I have booked a ticket on Sunday , 12-AUG-2012 with promo code SSUNDAY to receive a discount of Rs. 600 . However, when I made the final payment the total amount deducted was Rs. 3434 instead of Rs. 2834. I called up several times to the customer care only to end up with no proper justification of why this error occurred from your side. Customer care executive was only busy to give silly excuses instead of addressing the real problem, like I booked the flight at 6:59 AM while the offer is valid from 7:00 AM.I told him that I have the transaction statement of payment at 7:12 AM. He was then ready with another excuse that I didn't applied the PROMOCODE but was not ready to give me any sort of screenshots justifying that.
                I am highly disappointed with this experience. I really had a pleasant experience with any sort of bookings with Yatra.com prior to this. If PROMOCODEs are not meant to be applied for the customers then there is no point of flashing them in your site homepage & creating a false hopes in customers to get the tickets at cheaper rates.
                This is my worst online booking experience & I'm sure Yatra.com will be losing a potential customer after all this I have faced talking to customer care.

                The last thing I can hope from Yatra.com is to provide a proper solution at least to this transaction.

                    i booked a ticket on this stupid site and after i did my payment through HDFC net banking the site never came up with a PNR No or transaction no even after i was debited . my ticket was to be booked for the next afternoon. called the customerr support at least 12 times, explained my problem 12 times to 12 different ... as it was an urgent issue but the customerr care executives are so so so bad.. not even one came up with a solution to my problem. they were just an useless bunch of They came up with rubbish answers, wrong fares, bad English, or kept me on hold n never came back. they say that they will revert within 24 to 48 hours... but i hardly have even 15hours before boarding the flight. the worst site ever! Damn salman khan made some stupid advertisement.. but this is what the actual picture is.. wish someone could show this complaint to him. and if someone really does.. then, Mr. Salman.. why do u make false promises to people?? just coz your getting paid billions of rupees for one damn ad? This damn Yatra.com is filling up their own pockets by draining out ours...! and thanks to the customer care team, i missed a very important meeting And have to face much more trouble because of you damn unreliable people

                      Booking Cancelled Amount not refunded

                      We had booked a Trip to Alappuzha Kerala through Yatra on 23/05/2012, Vide Booking Reference # YT9593071. The Booking was for 2 days stay in Punnamada Resort & 1 day stay in JCT Houseboat. The Stay in Houseboat was for[protected] to[protected].                       I brought a air tickets from Yatra for CCU-MUM-DEL-FRA for 25th August 2011 and return on 31st October 2011 tickets brought on DATE 23AUGUST11 ...
                      However i travelled out of india on 25th Aug 2011 and got married in germany , so i could not get the ruturn flight from Frankfurt to ccu and it was a No-Show status....
                      On contacting the Air India office more than 2 weeks earlier they said that the partial fare along with the taxes would be refunded and since my booking was made through YATRA i have to contact YATRA for cancellation and refund of the money...
                      However i have contacted yatra through EMAIL and even called the YATRA booking agent but all they did is sent me an Email with the reff number and nothing more ... It has been more than 2 weeks now and i am still waiting for an answer from yatra.. I am in germany now and i cannot fly back to india because i have applied for my residence permit and i cannot leave this country until my residence permit is issued. .. I have even tried regestering the complain online on the yatra website .. However they allow you to register but they never sent an email for confirmiring the login for the yatra website ... So in this way you can never write about your complaints on the yatra website...

                        I booked 3 each,air tickets from Bangalore -Pune, Indore -Porbandar & Porbandar to Bangalore, on 8 th of June with yatra no. [protected]. in that twice tickets were booked in the name of Nandini gd, ( MY father's name was missed out in the list) when i contacted them, they said, i have to cancell one of the ticket in the name of nandini gd( Twiced booked) & reebook it in my father's name. i did that, they have deducted the cancellation charge everything. Now the other ticket in the name of nandini gd is reflecting as not confirmed from Indore -Porbandar & Porbandar -Bangalore. Jet airways people have confirmed that the ticket is not confirmed in the name of nandini GD, inspite of writing to them, complaining them & calling them, they r not taking necessary action. simply they are doing eye wash. As my parents are old i have to travel with them. If they doesnt confirm this ticket how my parents can travel? i request u to take necessary action. & make them confirm the ticket or else let them refund the whole amount i have spent on it & the charges what i have spent by contacting them

                        I Booked one air ticket, from Bangaluru to Patna, through Yatra.com on 23.03.2012 and made payment of Rs. 5235/- through State Bank Internet Banking Sysytem. My account was debited with the booking of ticket but status of ticket is still unconfirmed. I contacted yatra people and they told me that payment has not yet been received at their end.

                        Even after lapse of considerable time of 5 days, neither my ticket has been confirmed nor money has been refunded in my account.

                          Yes this is what Yatra does ... They ask you to contact them and when you try the customer service they either hang up or it keeps ringing ... and even when you write to them they only sent you a reff number which is the same in my case and i am still waiting with the reff number but still no answer from YATRA...

                            I had to cancel my ticket and for the same I tried canceling online 100 times on the YATRA website, but each time I press on "Cancel E-ticket" option. Following error occured:

                            System encountered a technical problem while processing your request.
                            Sorry for Inconvenience,Please try again or call to our customer care services

                            And I couldn't cancel my ticket. I tried calling customer care and it says, please do cancelation on our website. I mailed them but did not get any reply from their side. I am so not satisfied with Yatra services anymore. I would never use their services again. My ticket is still not canceled. HOPELESS!!

                              I had a very bad experience with yatra.com. I booked hotel for 5 days (30th may to 3rd june). when i reached dubai (regent palace hotel), i was told that my booking was from 31st may & they can arrange a room for me but if yatra doesn't pay then i have to pay.

                              On 3rd june Airport transfer was supposed to come at 6:30 and they didnt came and i catch taxi to reach airport.

                              Pathetic service from yatra.

                                We had booked a holiday (YT9592756, for Ladakh ) by paying 100 % advance money to Yatra.com Booking Reference : YT9592756
                                Booked By : Shradhanjali Pradhan Booking Date : 5/23/2012 11:33:10 AM. Inspite of repeated reminders and phone calls no one is giving any confirmation or details or vouchers for the travel. Each one is passing the buck on someone else. Have made 4 calls since morning ( with a total waiting time of half an hour) and each time a different guy picks up the phone...Dev, Mangesh...the manager on the floor ( Mrs. Satender Kaur) is always "busy" and can not talk. The lady who took the reservation and money is always" not available". The staff is rude and have no idea of what is going on. No one knows anything.
                                Would recommend all top stay away from this company. They have no systems in place. Even if you like the offer, just stay away. Will take them to the courts for compensation however guys please don't do the mistake of ruining your holiday with Yatra.

                                  Yesterday on 28 May I booked a flight ticket from yatra.com, yatra ref no. [protected] which after payment showed as nonconfirmed; while the flight details were Indigo 6E-307 from Delhi to Hyderabad scheduled for departure at 8:35pm on 28 May. Mr. Manoj called from yatra.com asking whether to confirm the flight that I had booked. I agreed for confirming it and then he provided the confirmed booking airline PNR no as NGGZDD. In the evening when I was at airport to catch the flight the Indigo staff informed me that the ticket that i was carrying it's flight had already gone as it was scheduled for departure at 5:00pm. I couldn't believe that after spending Rs. 12,692. I was forbid to travel and I missed my interview at hyderabad all because of the person Mr. Manoj who confirmed my flight; actually changed the flight to Indigo 6E-309 which was scheduled for 5pm on his own decision without informing me or asking me to do so. What he asked me was whether to confirm the flight which was unconfimed at the time of booking, so I obviously agreed and noted the generated airline PNR number as NGGZDD. I do not understand how a responsible employer of yatra.com can in the name of “confirming the airline PNR” change the flight number and that too which is scheduled for a different time (that too scheduled to depart earlier (3 and half hours) in this case) without giving me its knowledge and getting my permission to do so. Later I came to know that the booking amount has also been changed without my knowledge or permission to Rs.13,257. So I request you to kindly refund me the whole amount which I had spent for booking i.e, Rs.13,257. Also the fare of cab to go to airport and back home Rs.1000 which all went in vain because I couldn’t travel because of the mistake from the end of Yatra.com. Also I request to give me compensation for missing my interview because of Yatra.com

                                    yatra booking number 9600975, 2 tickets were booked from hyderabad to chennai, indigo did not allow me and my daughter ( infant ) to board as yatra had not paid the infant fare to indigo.
                                    this is gross cheating , I missed an important travel meet to Mumbai , who is responsivble for this , we need a full refund and a compensation for the same
                                    I BOOKED 1 TICKET BUT THEY DIDN'T CONFIRMED THE PNR BUT DEDUCTED MY MONEY. AS I'M HAVING MORE MONEY TO GET TICKET FROM OTHER SITE. SO PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED A CLEAR CONFIRMATION FROM YATRA.COM AND MR. AKHILESH YADAV WHO WORKS IN THEIR GUGAON CALL CENTRE
