I have booked a ticket on Sunday , 12-AUG-2012 with promo code SSUNDAY to receive a discount of Rs. 600 . However, when I made the final payment the total amount deducted was Rs. 3434 instead of Rs. 2834. I called up several times to the customer care only to end up with no proper justification of why this error occurred from your side. Customer care executive was only busy to give silly excuses instead of addressing the real problem, like I booked the flight at 6:59 AM while the offer is valid from 7:00 AM.I told him that I have the transaction statement of payment at 7:12 AM. He was then ready with another excuse that I didn't applied the PROMOCODE but was not ready to give me any sort of screenshots justifying that.
I am highly disappointed with this experience. I really had a pleasant experience with any sort of bookings with Yatra.com prior to this. If PROMOCODEs are not meant to be applied for the customers then there is no point of flashing them in your site homepage & creating a false hopes in customers to get the tickets at cheaper rates.
This is my worst online booking experience & I'm sure Yatra.com will be losing a potential customer after all this I have faced talking to customer care.

The last thing I can hope from Yatra.com is to provide a proper solution at least to this transaction.

      i booked a ticket on this stupid site and after i did my payment through HDFC net banking the site never came up with a PNR No or transaction no even after i was debited . my ticket was to be booked for the next afternoon. called the customerr support at least 12 times, explained my problem 12 times to 12 different ... as it was an urgent issue but the customerr care executives are so so so bad.. not even one came up with a solution to my problem. they were just an useless bunch of They came up with rubbish answers, wrong fares, bad English, or kept me on hold n never came back. they say that they will revert within 24 to 48 hours... but i hardly have even 15hours before boarding the flight. the worst site ever! Damn salman khan made some stupid advertisement.. but this is what the actual picture is.. wish someone could show this complaint to him. and if someone really does.. then, Mr. Salman.. why do u make false promises to people?? just coz your getting paid billions of rupees for one damn ad? This damn Yatra.com is filling up their own pockets by draining out ours...! and thanks to the customer care team, i missed a very important meeting And have to face much more trouble because of you damn unreliable people

        Booking Cancelled Amount not refunded

        We had booked a Trip to Alappuzha Kerala through Yatra on 23/05/2012, Vide Booking Reference # YT9593071. The Booking was for 2 days stay in Punnamada Resort & 1 day stay in JCT Houseboat.         I brought a air tickets from Yatra for CCU-MUM-DEL-FRA for 25th August 2011 and return on 31st October 2011 tickets brought on DATE 23AUGUST11 ...
        However i travelled out of india on 25th Aug 2011 and got married in germany , so i could not get the ruturn flight from Frankfurt to ccu and it was a No-Show status....
        On contacting the Air India office more than 2 weeks earlier they said that the partial fare along with the taxes would be refunded and since my booking was made through YATRA i have to contact YATRA for cancellation and refund of the money...
        However i have contacted yatra through EMAIL and even called the YATRA booking agent but all they did is sent me an Email with the reff number and nothing more ... It has been more than 2 weeks now and i am still waiting for an answer from yatra.. I am in germany now and i cannot fly back to india because i have applied for my residence permit and i cannot leave this country until my residence permit is issued. .. I have even tried regestering the complain online on the yatra website .. However they allow you to register but they never sent an email for confirmiring the login for the yatra website ... So in this way you can never write about your complaints on the yatra website...

          I booked 3 each,air tickets from Bangalore -Pune, Indore -Porbandar & Porbandar to Bangalore, on 8 th of June with yatra no. [protected]. in that twice tickets were booked in the name of Nandini gd, ( MY father's name was missed out in the list) when i contacted them, they said, i have to cancell one of the ticket in the name of nandini gd( Twiced booked) & reebook it in my father's name. i did that, they have deducted the cancellation charge everything. Now the other ticket in the name of nandini gd is reflecting as not confirmed from Indore -Porbandar & Porbandar -Bangalore. Jet airways people have confirmed that the ticket is not confirmed in the name of nandini GD, inspite of writing to them, complaining them & calling them, they r not taking necessary action. simply they are doing eye wash. As my parents are old i have to travel with them. If they doesnt confirm this ticket how my parents can travel? i request u to take necessary action. & make them confirm the ticket or else let them refund the whole amount i have spent on it & the charges what i have spent by contacting them

          I Booked one air ticket, from Bangaluru to Patna, through Yatra.com on 23.03.2012 and made payment of Rs. 5235/- through State Bank Internet Banking Sysytem. My account was debited with the booking of ticket but status of ticket is still unconfirmed. I contacted yatra people and they told me that payment has not yet been received at their end.

          Even after lapse of considerable time of 5 days, neither my ticket has been confirmed nor money has been refunded in my account.

          Details appearing in my account are as under:

          What should I do to get the money back in my account.

            Yes this is what Yatra does ... They ask you to contact them and when you try the customer service they either hang up or it keeps ringing ... and even when you write to them they only sent you a reff number which is the same in my case and i am still waiting with the reff number but still no answer from YATRA...

              I had to cancel my ticket and for the same I tried canceling online 100 times on the YATRA website, but each time I press on "Cancel E-ticket" option. Following error occured:

              System encountered a technical problem while processing your request.
              Sorry for Inconvenience,Please try again or call to our customer care services

              And I couldn't cancel my ticket. I tried calling customer care and it says, please do cancelation on our website. I mailed them but did not get any reply from their side. I am so not satisfied with Yatra services anymore. I would never use their services again. My ticket is still not canceled. HOPELESS!!

                I had a very bad experience with yatra.com. I booked hotel for 5 days (30th may to 3rd june). when i reached dubai (regent palace hotel), i was told that my booking was from 31st may & they can arrange a room for me but if yatra doesn't pay then i have to pay.

                On 3rd june Airport transfer was supposed to come at 6:30 and they didnt came and i catch taxi to reach airport.

                Pathetic service from yatra.

                  We had booked a holiday (YT9592756, for Ladakh ) by paying 100 % advance money to Yatra.com Booking Reference : YT9592756
                  Booked By : Shradhanjali Pradhan Booking Date : 5/23/2012 11:33:10 AM. Inspite of repeated reminders and phone calls no one is giving any confirmation or details or vouchers for the travel. Each one is passing the buck on someone else. Have made 4 calls since morning ( with a total waiting time of half an hour) and each time a different guy picks up the phone...Dev, Mangesh...the manager on the floor ( Mrs. Satender Kaur) is always "busy" and can not talk. The lady who took the reservation and money is always" not available". The staff is rude and have no idea of what is going on. No one knows anything.
                  Would recommend all top stay away from this company. They have no systems in place. Even if you like the offer, just stay away. Will take them to the courts for compensation however guys please don't do the mistake of ruining your holiday with Yatra.

                    Sir,
                    Yesterday on 28 May I booked a flight ticket from yatra.com, yatra ref no. [protected] which after payment showed as nonconfirmed; while the flight details were Indigo 6E-307 from Delhi to Hyderabad scheduled for departure at 8:35pm on 28 May. Mr. Manoj called from yatra.com asking whether to confirm the flight that I had booked. I agreed for confirming it and then he provided the confirmed booking airline PNR no as NGGZDD. In the evening when I was at airport to catch the flight the Indigo staff informed me that the ticket that i was carrying it's flight had already gone as it was scheduled for departure at 5:00pm. I couldn't believe that after spending Rs. 12,692. I was forbid to travel and I missed my interview at hyderabad all because of the person Mr. Manoj who confirmed my flight; actually changed the flight to Indigo 6E-309 which was scheduled for 5pm on his own decision without informing me or asking me to do so. What he asked me was whether to confirm the flight which was unconfimed at the time of booking, so I obviously agreed and noted the generated airline PNR number as NGGZDD. I do not understand how a responsible employer of yatra.com can in the name of “confirming the airline PNR” change the flight number and that too which is scheduled for a different time (that too scheduled to depart earlier (3 and half hours) in this case) without giving me its knowledge and getting my permission to do so. Later I came to know that the booking amount has also been changed without my knowledge or permission to Rs.13,257. So I request you to kindly refund me the whole amount which I had spent for booking i.e, Rs.13,257. Also the fare of cab to go to airport and back home Rs.1000 which all went in vain because I couldn’t travel because of the mistake from the end of Yatra.com. Also I request to give me compensation for missing my interview because of Yatra.com

                      yatra booking number 9600975, 2 tickets were booked from hyderabad to chennai, indigo did not allow me and my daughter ( infant ) to board as yatra had not paid the infant fare to indigo.

                        We booked a kashmir holiday package with yatra for 17 - 22 May 2012, advance booking was done one month back and full payment done 4-5 days prior to travel date. ( I booked with yatra one month back because the customer care person I was contacting for the details, requested me to book it on that day itself. Actually he was begging me to book the package and as a person of little bit kind heart, I fell for his trap, I was under the impression I was helping hime to achieve his target, but later my husband told me these are all tricks used by these peoples). We were happy that everything was alright till 16 May 2012, that day we realised our helplesssness when it comes to these online bookings. Yatra team (Gurgaon, Haryana) could not deliver our vouchers, we do not know why? And the worst thing is from 14 May to 16 May 2012 5.30 PM, yatra assured they will confirm our booking and issue the vouchers. The whole day we were repeatedly calling yatra every one hour and then every 30 minutes as they were promising to issue the vouchers within one hour and or later on within 30 minutes. At 5.30 PM (May 16) and after repeated phone calls, we realized they are just taking us for a round and not going to deliver the vouchers. So we decided to book on our own and asked for a refund from yatra. Imagine, we were able to book our hotels and arrange everything within 1 hour or so, which Yatra.com were not able to do eventhough we booked one month in advance and paid full amount 4 days prior to travel. (Another part of this story is the yatra person who requested me to book the package stopped answering his phone whenever we called on 16 May after 11 AM). We were calling the 1800 number of yatra and they only gave us the status by talking with this team (Noida Gurgaon team).

                        Our refund was paid by yatra today (24 May 2012), after repeated calling again. Imagine our mental stress and tension on the day of 16 May, we would have suffered a huge loss if we were to cancel our trip because of no accomodation as we had already booked our flights, we would have lost our entire money ( around 1.5 lakhs). Imagine what would have happened to us, if we were also not able to book any accomodation in srinagar like yatra team? (we were travelling with 2 small kids of age 2 and 5) Can anyone believe the story that Yatra.com were not able to book a single room in a hotel in srinagar, though they tried hard for 4-5 days?? Should I go to consumer court for compensation for all the trouble yatra.com had caused us? Don't you think it is Hi-time we should teach these kind of big companies a lesson for their misbehaviour towards customers. they only look at their profits, they are ready to rope in Salman Khan for their Ad, but not bothered to give a accommodation for a family travelling with 2 kids and that to which they have promised to us by getting our money. If they had any sincerity towards the customer they would have given us an accommodation (because we were able to book a hotel after that on our own). What is your opinion?, readers.

                          After doing a full payment 1mnth in advance the journey time came and I didn’t get a call.
                          Yatra never bothered to check up on the booking and that was really unprofessional by a travel website boasting of excellent customer service.
                          I tried calling the Yatra Customer Care myself and it was just a waste of 30 minutes call time as the call was just put on hold and finally received a hotel voucher and travel tickets on 14th may after several reminders to Akash.

                          1)other travel websites gives a itinery of Do's and don'ts which we expect for hassle free travel,but we received nothing.
                          2) As confirmed from Yatra executive , passports to travel to nepal is not required any identity proof will do,but in immigration they asked for voting card or passports and even childs school id .
                          3) Bought tkts from mumbai- Delhi connecting Delhi-Kathmandu ,but the connecting time was just 1 and 1/2 hrs
                          made us run through the airport.
                          4)Reached the airport ,hotel car didn't come to pick us up.
                          5)Hotel number given to us was not working.
                          6)Reached hotel and was shocked to see the condition of Hotel.
                          7)Pillow cover torn
                          8)No electricity for 8 hrs and no generator back-up.
                          9) Telephone lines not working if no Electricity .
                          10)Shower not working.
                          12)Breakfast was inclusive ,but no option was given...serving portion were so less.
                          13)Even no hot chocolate was avaliable for my son.

                          Wants to file a complaint against yatra.com for their irresponsible action and to spoil my holiday, which is completetly ridiculous .
                          The experience which I had with Yatra was pretty disappointing and caused me a lot of inconvenience. Atleast Yatra is not going to be my preferred travel website ever.

                            The Cmpany is a big FRAUD.....

                            This is in reference, to my booking made with yatra.com and having a very bad experience with yatra.com.
                            I made the bookings on 24/April/12 for Shimla & Manali (7 nights,8 days) (Holiday Package : Yatra ID/REF No.: 9407640) depositing full payment in advance of Rs. 27,832/- for two (me and my wife The dealer, (the executive named Mr. Manu Malhotra) asks me for 2-3 days of time to deliver the coupons, which I agreed. At the time of booking I was told that package is confirmed, in the interim, when I asked for the vouchers I was told that I would receive them in couple of days. On 04th, May, 2012, At 1600 Hrs, not even ONE day prior to my departure dates. (My departure date was 05/May/12). I was told that my seat was sold out and hence there is no seat available & your Holiday Package has been cancelled.

                            Now I was offered refund related to holiday package. And till now, after so many follow ups I didn’t got my refund back. At the time of cancellation from the yatra.com team I was made assured that within 2-3 working days I will get back my money, but now almost 15 days have passed I didn’t gave my money back.

                            Every time I call, the attending executive, always ask me for few more days or tell that they will definitely call back, within an hour with the latest update, but nobody turned up till now.

                            On calling Mr. Manu malhotra (who booked my holidays) & asking about the refund, he always gives a new and unique excuse, for not getting my money back, or reason for not telling my update about my refund. Till now, there is no response in the call centre. No agent is free to pick up the phone even after waiting for 30-40 minutes.
                            I also tried to contact other Sr. sales executive, such as Mr. Debashish, & Mr. Debojit, Mr. Gopal, but they always gave me a false commitment, and did nothing.

                            After continuous follow ups, now I request you to kindly look into this matter at your end and give me some positive feed back on the issue.

                              The payment was taken against an airline booking confirming the fair on a mail and asking to revert back with the confirmation which was done. Later the next day the agent revert back stating the fair has changed and need to pay the difference amount.

                              This is like getting the customer to monetary commitment and advising to pay the difference amount and not standing by the amount confirmed on mail.

                              Kindly advice if this can be taken legally. I have all the mail conversations/confirmations from the travel agent.

                              I have booked my Flight ticket using yatra on 24th january. They had offer that they will give free ticket with it. According to their terms and conditions I should get voucher code with in 48 hours but its already 6 days and I have not received it. I am calling their customer care since friday but everytime they say with in 24 hours I will get Voucher Code. I always face problem with Yatra.

                              I traveled to Andaman with Yatra recently and would strongly condemn it especially for all female travelers. Not only did they make false promise to provide me free airport lounge pass one way also flipped the entire itinerary on the last day.

                              Thats that, what made the situation worsen was the tour guide. As single female traveler, I am very aware and conscious of how and where I travel and that was a reason I chose to travel in a group to Andaman. Guide/agent named VK Vinay Kumar not only behaved inappropriately and insisted for me to go on a ride with him but also blackmailed saying he has the boarding passes for my return flight and would not give those to me if I didn't agree. I kept mum and just wanted to be back home, I complaint to my sales agent and all I got to hear was, you can leave your comment on our website. On asking for his managers contact info, I was told to drop an email.

                              It's was my first time travel with Yatra group and what a sheer disappointment it was, India is far from developed for female travelers and companies like Yatra simply dupe people to make sales and cheat them with their sheer unprofessional attitude after package is sold.

                                This is regdg Yatra Incident #:[protected]when I used this as reference in the last 6 calls), each time the unprofessional executive kept asking me for the PNR # and also what is complaint. I am shocked to see such poor infrastructure and service from a travel portal.

                                I logged 2 complaints on the same incident # on 2 May 2012 and have yet got a formal reply after 7 days. I have moved the complaint and am sure to send legal notice to such irresponsible service provider. I start in reverse order

                                I booked a MOM-DEL-MUM flight on 1st May on [protected] with an airline PNR XFJ3CH for flying on 2nd May and return on 5th May. I traveled Bangalore Mumbai on 1st May through Yatra and just was back to see my family and enjoy the one day off.

                                On 2nd I started from my house at 4am and reached airport at 4:45am to only realise that Yatra had made a huge error. Go AIR w [U]confirmed in writing[/U] that there was no reservation made by Yatra for my name on that flight. They further checked all flights for Delhi and confirmed that no ticket was booked. a little minutes later the manager rightly pointed out that the PNR for my return journey is same but my return was with Indigo and there was no way the same PNR could be used.

                                I further could not get any tickets for Delhi for 6 am flight as all were running full and have now managed to get GO AIR PNR 40K0US at Rs. 12,000/- departing at 7:55pm. I had a meeting with a Head HR at the airport at 9:30am but lost the deal as I never made it on time.
                                I spent Rs. 4000/- additional and also never reached in time for my first meeting and suffered a loss on Rs.50,000/-. Who the hell is responsible for such a careless attitude.

                                The working times are so useless as there was no one from Yatra I could speak to at 5 am to solve my problem. I am amused to see the issue and the fact that your call centre does not respond. And also this is not the first time and issue

                                This was booked through Yatra.com for British Airways and I was also informed on the email that I am allowed to carry 2 baggage check in and 1 hand.

                                I had 2 check in baggage with me and no hand luggage and when I was boarding my flight and BA had no problem but from New York to Chicago American Airlines refused to allow 2 piece baggage and I had to spend $25 for the extra baggage fee.
                                It was sad that they were not even willing to talk and I called Yatra but they have yet not responded to the email

                                I am looking at a reimbursement from whoever was the person who gave out the wrong information as it was sad that such important things are ideally not mentioned on the tickets.

                                I look forward for getting the refund of amounts 16325/- spend due to your errors and also extra compensation of Rs. 50000/- for harassment and business loss which ideally Yatra is not even apologetic / sympathetic about.

                                    I had booked a ticket through yatra.com for travelling from New Delhi to Bangalore on Sunday, 1st April, 2012 (my ticket no. was [protected] and my booking number was [protected]). But when I reached the airport, the airlines told me that my ticket has been cancelled by yatra. When I called up yatra's customer care, they said the ticket is confirmed and I must negotiate with the airlines. After being abandoned by both sides, I had to book a ticket costing nearly 3 times the fare that I had paid for my original ticket. I am yet to receive a refund on my original ticket, let alone a compensation for my ordeal.
                                    Even after a letter and an email (with proofs of their mistake), I have not heard from yatra. Fellow travellers, stay away from this irresponsible company if you don't want to be cheated.
