Hi,
I am a first time user of Yatra. com and would like to share the horrible experience that I have had with them. I am planning to travel to Goa (from 29th of Jan to 2nd of Feb 2013) with my family, my wife and an infant son (1.5 years). I did the mistake of calling up yatra as the popular resorts that i knew of were booked. I was suggested bagmallo resort by the sales person at yatra. My yatra booking ID is YT 10658194

1. I was told that the cottages are "Best rooms available". Incorrect, as per the hotel they are the worst and the cheapest room available with them and are reserved for backpackers. I am traveling with my family and my infant son !!!!

2. I was told that this is the best rate for the room. Incorrect as per the hotel the rack rate for this room is rs.[protected] for 3 nights) I have been sold this horrible room for above rack rate at rs 20000.

3. On asking if the airport pickup, drop and lunch dinner are included. I was told categorically that all this is not included!!!! The package on hotel site and the booking agent at hotel says all of this is included in the package.

I told Yatra that I would not be travelling on this booking and immediately asked them to:

1. Return back the entire money to me for the hotel booking. I can still book the flights through you.
2. Book me a superior deluxe room floor 4 and above at the best possible cost from your end. I am ready to pay the differential from my end.

None of this has happened and 3 days have passed meanwhile I have figured that the hotel is really not that great and on following up with Yatra for cancellation of booking I am being threatend that the booking is non refundable and that I will have to forfeit the entire amount of INR 20000. Please help in suggesting can they really forfeit the hotel booking amount?? I understand there is no law that allows for this anywhere, where does the Indian law stand on this?

    hello sir, i was trying to book ticket through online process in yatra.com while they asked me booking details and i booked ticket on name of NILESH SOLANKI. from JODHPUR TO CHENNAI ON 8.1.13.... they asked me ATM no and i entered all. after entering My balance was deducted from my bank balance....in online it showed message to wait for few minutes i waited for 1 hour and after that message showed that your session is expired..... so please sir im requesting you please give back my money or deposit in my indian overseas bank savings ac no [protected].... please request.... please inform me my mobile no is [protected]

      i dont like yatra.com as we went andaman.we have payed 2.8 lakhs but the employee pranav lamba gave a mail that ur tickets are booked when we went their, their was no proper accommodation and that pranav is not at desk we wasted our time, their was no proper guide to suggest us these guys from yatra are also careless and when we try to contact them in andaman their were telling as we are not responisible for all these bull i dont suggest it.. totally our plan got spoiled and our money got wasted.

        Refund:

        I booked a kingfisher flight (Kingfisher IT-632) from Port Blair(IXZ) to Chennai(MAA) through Yatra.com on the 29th of Sept 2012.

        The date of journey was 18/11/2012. Yatra did not bother to inform me that the flight has been cancelled from airline side, it was I who called them 2 days before the journey.

        I spoke to them about the refund on 18th Nov 2012 itself, one of the representatives told me that it would take 7 working days, but later they told me that refund process will start on 26th Nov 2012.

        When I called yatra on 26th Nov 2012, they told me to wait till 5th Dec 2012. I again called on 5th Dec 2012, they again told me to wait till 15th Dec 2012.

        When I called them today (22th Dec 2012), Mubarak Ali khan from yatra.com again told me to wait till 15th Jan. I am fed up of calling them every fortnight and all I need is a refund of Rs 8504.

        Yatra guys are asking me to contact kingfisher airline for refund, but as I have booked the flight from Yatra.com, its their duty to get me the refund.

        One thing's for sure, I am never going to book any flight from yatra ever again. If they are providing tickets and taking the money immediately, then they are equally responsible for getting the consumers their rightful refund.

        All I want is the refund of 8,504/-.

        This is ridiculous.Even after 2 months of flight being cancelled by the Airline itself, I have to fight to get my money back.
        MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED BY SPICEJET ON 24 DEC-14 & SPICEJET MADE REFUND ON 11 JAN 2015 BUT I COULD NOT GET ANY REFUND FROM YATRA.COM. SPICEJET SAYING THAT THEY ALREADY MADE REFUND TO THE AGENCY. PLEASE HELP TO GET REFUND. MY PNR IS Y5Y35C.

          I had booked a train ticket from rail.yatra.com on 15th september,2012 and paid Rs. 9508/ - with Transaction ID : [protected] and PNR No. : [protected] with a journey to be commenced on 19th Nov,2012 to Mumbai from New Delhi for 5 passengers and there was waiting list for us.

          Meanwhile the booking for 1 passenger had to be cancelled and I had received a refund of Rs. 1840/- back which was all ok till now.

          On the 19th Nov,2012 (the journey date), even after the chart was prepared, our ticket status was still in WAITING catagory and the ticket was cancelled. Thereby the journey never took place and now I should receive my money back in my account.

          After several reminders, yatra.com replied on 8th Dec,12 that they will return the balance amount in 3 -4 working days. To my surprise, no refund was receivde even after 15 days. Again after my follow up, i was informed that there is a technical error in their system and they are under doubt if they have process Rs.1840 twice (previous settled partial amount)!!

          As a proof, they requested my bank statement (for which there should be no need as they must have installed latest softewares to trace transaction).

          Despite providing the bankstatement also, there is dead silence !!! Ironically, if you call the customer care, there is only an automatic voice and there is no way you can talk to any representative for customer complaint for train travel.

          I suggest you not to book any train ticket from yatra.com else there is no respite if you are stuck anywhere in your transaction.

          I request the concerned authority to take acton against them so that the true picture can be brought in public against the fake claims made by them for thier promises.

          Railway Ticket — Not getting train ticket

          Hello sir,
          My name is ANAND.K.V residing near kannapuram railway station (KPQ), kannur,kerala.Passengers are really facing big troubles while getting tickets from this station.They are not giving advanced tickets for passengers travelling more than 200kms..Its a computerized ticketing counter.Even then we have to face these problems means..its really terrible.They offer tickets only on the date of journey..As per railways rules, passengers travelling more then 200 kms could get advanced tickets ie, 72 hrours before the journey..I cant understand on what account they are doing such stupidity.
          Not only this problem I want to come up with, they are also not providing tickets for passengers who want to go by other trains that start from kannur, the main station.Its a UTS counter.so tickets should be provided to passengers from any station to any station...But really they are torturing us by not providing us such ticket.They say there is no such provisions for taking tickets like that....so please take this into account and a take an immediate action against this...
          The promised refund amount is Rs. 7360/- which is still pending even after more than a month since this ticket was cancelled.

            There are 3 tickets from BLR-DEL-KATHMANDU-DEL-BLR.
            This was re-scheduled on 7th dec . It costed us 10,600 INR as rescheduling charges.
            The agent did not suggest cancellation and re-booking. I checked this option later and found that if I had cancelled and rebooked , I could have saved about 4000 INR ,I have registered a complaint with yatra

              I recently faced the refund issue with yatra.com for my 8 Dec Journey from bangalore to Pune via mumbai.



              My booking ref ID is YT1048152.



              I had a NO SHOW for the morning 7am flight as my vehicle tyre got punctured & reached airport late at 6.25am. Airlines denied checking in for me. Immediately i tried calling yatra.com call centre, there was no response, i kept trying until 9,30am many times, no luck. at 9.30am i got some one on call but he said systems are down for maintenance & asked me to directly contact jet airways or call after 2 hrs. I called jet airways on the no. provided by him, but they said since i have booked thru yatra.com, i need to contact them only. Again i contacted then at 12.30pm, the agent called up airlines by putting my call on hold & gave me figure of Rs.7697- as refund amount after deducting 3335/. as i had no choice, i said please go ahead & refund. I asked him do i get some ref no. for this discussion, he said no sir you can quote the booking ref no. we will be able to pull out details. I hanged up the phone thanking him. I forgot to ask his name.



              Next day on 9th i get email from yatra.com for the refund of Rs.285, i got wild & called them up again. Lady on call said there is a mistake from our side in calculating, it can't be Rs.7697/-. I was trying to tell her your colleague put me on hold, called airlines & confirmed the amount, but she said no this is what we will refund, if you have called our call centre before 30 min of flight time, we would refunded complete amount. But call centre had problem, ie., not my problem, i was trying to explain her, but she was not ready to accept her colleagues mistake & their downtime. I had told her this is first time i booked with yatra.com & my experience is this & told her i am going to register complaint.



              Later i checked on complaints on yatra.com on google & found lot of complaints like this. My feeling is airlines are refunding yatra.com & they are not giving back to customers as different people gives different views to customers.

                Hello,

                I got an email from Yatra with a promotion code for a discount. I just tried to use this coupon to book my tickets worth Rs. 46000 and it said the code is invalid. I still went ahead and booked the tickets trusting yatra will honor this request. The PNR number is PSBWKH. Its for 4 people to fly to Mumbhai from Chennai today, 1st December.

                However, when I called support, Yatra told me that this code is invalid and that there is nothing they can do about it. Why does Yatra send an invalid code that they cannot honor?

                Two days later, I booked another ticket for Rs. 16,000. This time, they gave a code which was for Rs.250 discount. When I used this coupon it was invalid again. So, within a span of 3 days, Yatra provided an invalid code twice and rejected my discount both times. This is almost a total discount of Rs. 700. This is a false marketing campaign being run by Yatra.

                    Yatra.com — Refund amount not received!

                    I, Rajesh Bhushan, had booked air tickets thro yatra.com as under:

                    1). By Indigo flight 6E-105 for Delhi-Pune for 7th July 09 for 4 passengers. Ticket PNR No. X2KPAR, booking ref - CJY8YA, and paid the required amount thro SBI internet banking.
                    2). By Indigo flight 6E-102 for Pune-Delhi for 10th July 09 for 3 passengers. Ticket PNR No. M2NDCV, booking ref - 3YANYA and paid the required amount thro SBI internet banking.

                    Both the above tickets were cancelled by me a few days back but the refund amount has not yet been credited to my SBI account.

                    Further please note, the cancellation amount is much in excess as compared to what declared by yatra.com on it's web site.

                    I regret to hear that it is taking longer than what you anticipated to get the refund.

                    Please note that your refund has been processed by Yatra as follows:

                    Booking ref CJY8YA – Was cancelled on the 24th June and refund was processed on June 26th. The breakup of the cancellation fees applied are: Airline cancellation fee(Charged by the airline) – 3000, Yatra Cancellation Service Fee – 150, Yatra Booking Service Fee that was non-refundable - 600. Refundable amount is Rs. 4450

                    Booking ref 3YANYA – Was cancelled on the 25th June and refund was processed too. The breakup of the cancellation fees applied are: Airline cancellation fee – 2250, Yatra Cancellation Fee – 150, Yatra Booking Service Fee – 450. Refundable amount is Rs. 3300

                    Since both the bookings were made through net banking, the refund takes longer than normal 5-7 working days. Please check your bank account in about 7-10 days.

                    Yatra. com money not returned for cancelled tickets. — No clue of refund of money

                    Yatra .com making fraud on refund of money on cancelled tickets.
                    I got my ticket booked thru Yatra.com online (yatra ref no- CJTD0C) and used my DB Credit card for payment. The ticket is booked for JETLITE S2-6132 and money (Rs 6070) debited. When I cancelled the ticket quite before the 2 hour of flight departure (limitation as published), they confirmed of having ticket cancelled and informed that the money will be debited back to my credit card account within 10 days .
                    The amount has not been refunded even after 20 days has passed. Every day they give me transaction no, ([protected]) which is not existance as per D Bank . As per them the money has been refunded, but it has not ben credited to my credity card account. Yatra.com is clueless and is unable to provide any further support.

                    I have been a regular user of Yatra.com for booking of my airline tickets online. With this experience I warn to all those using Ytra to swithover to other portals.

                    I MADE A PURCHASE FROM YATRA.COM IN THE MONTH OF MARCH THROUGH MY TITANIUM CREDIT CARD. THEY HAD A DEAL THEN OF 10% CASH BACK . EVEN TODAY I AM WAITING FOR MY CASH BACK. NOW WHAT TO DO?

                    With regret I have to write to you & inform that the kind of experience I had gone through is not only pathetic but also gives an impression that your tele-executives have been trained to frustrate customers by keeping them on hold endlessly when a pointed question is posed to them.

                    You are aware that I had booked a return ticket for my mother Mrs. Meena Orke on the Mum-Delhi-Dammam sector. Because the Mumbai-Delhi sector flight didnt land her at international airport, my brother managed to get her on board another AI flight to Bangkok which stopped at Delhi international airport. From there she managed to take the Delhi - Dammam sector of AI flight. I had informed you that she is a senior citizen & if my brother had not taken this decision she would have missed her flight to Dammam.

                    Due to commitment there at Dammam, she had to postpone her return date for which I was asked to shell out extra money which I paid. Because of her bad experience with AI stopover at Delhi, my sister in Dammam got her a direct Mumbai flight. Then I approached for cancellation of return flight well before her scheduled departure date.

                    I was asked to visit AI Mumbai city office where I went for cancellation personally & was told the return sector was cancelled. Now after 3 months have passed I am yet to see any credit in my credit card account towards this cancellation. I had specifically asked you that I have no business to go over to AI office & since that I booked my flight ticket on Yatra.com, it is your responsibility to arrange for refund to be credited to my account. All in all this has been my worst experience ever & more was in store over last 2 days when I called up to check the status of refund.

                    Yesterday (02.03.10)when I contacted, your executive Rohit after keeping me on hold for almost 10-15 minutes confidently told me that there was delay from AI side for refund, however I can expect to get credit within 10-11 days. I asked him to confirm the same in writing & he promised that I should get a mail in next 30 minutes confirming reason for delay from AI & also expected credit in next 10-11 days.

                    Today till late afternoon since I didnt see any mail, I called up Yatra.com & this time lady tele-executive Karandeep Kaur informs me that matter has been pending with AI since 02.12.09. When I informed her about my conversation with Rohit on previous day she feigned ignorance & then casually informs me that Rohit might have got this information from his seniors. In the mean time, the call was disconnected (very smartly). I called up again, fortunately she came on line again & this time I insisted to speak with Rohit. After keeping me on hold for good 7 minutes, the line was disconnected again. I called up again when other lady tele-executive attended the call only to disconnect when I asked to connect me to Karandeep or Rohit.

                    If this is the manner in which you are going to frustrate a customer, then let me warn you that I will not sit back silently but will proceed against Yatra.com legally for all the inconvenience caused & also forward this mail to consumer forum & apart from refund claim damages for the inconvenience & sheer frustration on following up my matter.

                    Please treat this as urgent & make sure that this is attended by your senior officer within 24 hours

                    Just because of airlines fault I had lost my very important training.After reaching New Delhi I had contacted with kingfisher representative, they told me they will refund full amount and then cancelled my ticket.
                    Pls find the Virtual Coupon Record No.:[protected]

                    Aside of this, I had cancelled 2nd one Chennai to Delhi also.

                    Just because of airlines fault I had lost my very important training and I'm still ready to bear one side cancelled amount but I'm not ready to take any mental torture at all which I'm getting from CC.

                    I'd several times mailed to [protected]@yatraonline.com as well as had made several calls to customer care but i got no support.
                    They had tortured me even still going on.

                    I want full money which i had wasted which is 20,000(including my stay in delhi) as well as compensation money of 50,000 just because of Yatra and Kingfisher.

                    Yatra.com — correct amount not refunded

                    I had done a cancellation of my ticket ref no is YT4636589 on 12/07/2010 through yatra.com web site and before confirming my cancellation it showed me the amount which would to be refunded that was RS 9716 and then I confirmed it, and also I got confirmation on my mobile and email from yatra. On 13/07/2010 I received email from yatra for confirming the same refund amount of RS 9716.but I have received only RS 8227.12 in my account , which is not acceptable, when confirmed my cancellation it was RS 9716 which I accepted and I proceeded, but if it was RS 8227.12 I would think twice before doing it. when I contacted yatra they say that RS 8227.12 is to be refunded ,I even forwarded the email I received, but they are stuck with their answer .they asked me to contact the airline (kingfisher) which I did in return they told me that it is taken care by travel agents .when I asked them to give me explanation about online confirmation and email there was no reply from yatra, so I request your good office please check on this and refund my remaining amount .

                    Yatra.com — not getting refund

                    My self Mrs Jani, we had booked return ticket from yatra.com for Bhavnagar to Bombay 07/11 and Bombay to Bhavnagar 21/11 of Kingfisher air line. My yatra reference number is [protected]. My flight dated 07/11 got cancel by airline it self, about this neither airline nor Yatra.com informed me. I got this news from local news paper, and when I done inquiry at yatra customer care they were not having any information about this. After calling them 7-8 times they confirm just 3 days before that flight got cancelled by airline. As it was Diwali, all train, bus and flights were full, so compulsorily by paying extra money I had to travel by train.
                    Now I am chasing for my refund. First yatra customer care officer told me that you will not get refund as your status show not present at flight time. When flight was cancelled than how can I be present there? So stupid they are. Than in next call they told they will give me refund after deducting 1500rs. When I asked reason for this deduction I got reply that airline is deducting this money. So, I directly contact airline's local office than airline office staff confirmed that they have not deducted single rupee as flight got cancelled. So I called yatra representative again and told them I have confirm with airline office directly, they are paying full refund. After this call they confirm to pay me full refund. See, what a big cheater Yatra is.. if I had not visited airline office they were going to deduct my 1500rs.
                    This it not end of my trouble. After this conversation, I need to call yatra customer care several time, and every time they keep me on hold for 15-20 minutes, as we are not getting any charge for phone calls. I have spend minimum 320rs. from my mobile for chasing up refund. Today is 5th December, its month time period yet not getting any refund. Today morning also I called yatra and it was hight.. they put me on hold as I done inquiry about my refund, and customer care officer didn't come on line again till 20 minutes, than by seeing my mobile bill, I need to cut the phone.
                    Now I am writing to consumer complain with the hope I will get my refund.

                    Friends, I have very bad experience with yatra, please think 100 times before using their service. On yatra.com website they are writing customer will get refund in 3 working days. Actually they have to write truth on their website that: "customer need dare, lots of time and 300rs. to 500rs. extra budget for doing phone calls and mails for refund." So, friends if you are totally free, having extra money than only use yatra service.

                    I booked a Train Ticket with Yatra.com in the names of my Mom and Dad. Later, i requested for the cancellation of those tickets and was done but we never received our refund amount from yatra.com.

                    in spite of contacting them numerous times through phone calls and emails, they never paid us the amount since months now.

                    Finally, i realized that Yatra.com is another name of pathetic services and worst customer support that we have come across in our life. I will never ever again take their single service in my entire life, even if i am in a critical situation and will always suggest people never to deal with yatra.com. Highly unprofessional and 3rd class company is yatra.com

                    Let me explain my complaint in short:

                    However, even after so many reminders, i have not received any refund for the same. And to see the most funnier part of their foolishness, below is the contents of emails exchanged... read it and u will come to know what kind of people are providing filthy services....

                    Thanks for this timely help in the cancellation of tickets. Well the payment that you mentioned in your email would be credited in the same account; it was not made from my bank account or any transaction card. I paid the amount in cash to the agent who delivered the tickets at home.
                    In this regard, please do the needful.

                    Then Email from Yatra.com-

                    First of all, my name is Mikhil not Gaurav and my phone no is always active round the clock, so there is no way that it would go unreachable when you tried calling me many times.
                    In my previous mail, i said that i have booked the tickets through an agent here in chandigarh and i paid the total amount in cash to the person who brought the tickets at my home.
                    I tried calling his phone no. but its not responding, thats why i mailed you in this regard and i request that if the tickets are cancelled, then please do the needful in making the refund to me directly.

                    This is with the reference to your email dated 2nd September, 2011, regarding the status of the refund under Yatra reference number 0904VE. We would like to inform you that the refund amount of INR 492.00 is under process and this will be credited to your account through which payment has been made, within 3 to 4 working days. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in refund.

                    Then Email from me -
                    I think you missed to understand what i requested in my previous email and as per you, the refund would be credited in the account from which payment has been made.
                    But, i said i did not pay the ticket amount from any of my account. i paid in cash to the agent. now the agent is not in the business here and closed his shop. his contact no. is also not responding.
                    so how will i get the refund if the agent is no more in the business? there is no point if you credit the refund into his account from which the payment has been made. i dont think that the agent will come to my home and give the money.
                    so i am requesting you to please make a payment on my name, in my account, not in the account of your agent.
                    i am already very disappointed by the quality and credibility of service of Yatra.com and i would think again in future to take services of your company.
                    kindly pay this small amount into my account and in my name, not in your agent's name. This would be my last email as a request to you and after this i will go through legal proceedings and demand compensations of all my harassment, troubles and wastage of time and money due to yatra.com.

                    The bank also takes 3 to 4 working days to reflect the amount in your account. Hence, you are requested to wait till that time and cross check the status of refund from the concerned bank after the completion of this period.

                    In order for us to process the refund into an alternate account, we would have required an authority letter from the original account holder. As we had not received any such authorization, the refund of Rs 492 was processed by us on 5th September '11 into the same account from which we had received the payment.

                    While we understand that you had paid cash to an agent who in turn had booked the train ticket on our website, we regret we would not be able to credit the refund directly into your account.                     so how will i get the refund if the agent is no more in the business? there is no point if you transferred the refund into his account from which the payment was made. i don't think that the agent will come to my home and give the money.

                    Since, Yatra.com has appointed and authorized an agent to facilitate the services offered by the company as a whole, its your responsibility to see if your authorized agent is in existence or not. I think, before appointing him as an authorized agent of yatra.com, you would have asked about his credentials to be presented in support of his application to become an agent and if you can track him down by other means then only this matter gets resolved.

                    its not that i want that small sum refunded to me, just to see how fair are the practices of yatra.com in resolving its customer's issues.

                        FEW HOURS AGO I GOT A CALL FROM YATRA.COM SAYING THAT THEY WILL BE OFFERING ME A MONEY SAVER CARD FREE OF COST THE EXECUTIVE EXPLAINED ME THE DETAILS OF THE CARD AND WHEN I SAID I WOULD LIKE TO GO FOR IT HE TRANSFERRED ME TO THE VERIFICATION DEPARTMENT THE PERSON THERE WANTED TO VERIFY MY DEBIT CARD DETAILS HE ASKED ME MY CARD NUMBER FIRST WHICH I CONFIRMED AND THEN TO MY SURPRISE HE WANTED MY CARD CVV NUMBER WHEN I REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO HIM HE PERSUADED ME TO GIVE THE DETAILS I GOT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG IN IT I ASKED THE PERSON TO SEND ME A VERIFICATION REQUEST THROUGH MY BANK AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL.

                            I had booked thailand holiday package for my parents thru yatra. It has been a very bad experience. The hotels booked were bad and some had cockroaches as well. The management was bad. There was no clarity in the trip and the local tour guides from yatra who were supposed to escort my parents in thailand were extremely rude. They were late for the trip (which is part of itenary) and made my parents waste a lot of time in the hotel rooms instead of sight seeing! The travel buzz people there are sooo extremely rude with the tourists. The half day city tour included in the package was a mere waste and eye wash. The tourists are forced to enter some jewellery shops and kill thier time there just because the travel guides will get commission. They had to spend most of thier time in such shops and it was a torture. We go for sight seeing and not helping someone with commission!
                            My parents had thier return flight at 10:30 PM and the local guide was supposed to pick them up and drop in airport. He forced them to checkout and sit in the airport from 4:00 PM. They had to sit for 6 hours in the airport doing nothing. When asked about being dropped so early the agent was just rude again and asked them to take it or leave it!

                            It is extremely dissapointing and my parents really had a bad time there in a foreign land. I am repenting that I trusted yatra and sent my parents thru them for thier first international trip. Now they are hesistant to travel anywhere else due to thier experience with yatra.

                            PACKAGE TOUR BOOKING — NON REFUND OF BOOKING AMOUNT TAKEN

                            I booked a package tour BANGALORE-TIRUPATHI-BANGALORE for travel on 19th December,2010. I booked on line through [protected]@yatra.com. During the process of booking, after filling up all details, and making my payment through my credit card, the transaction abruptly stopped and there was no confirmation of booking from Yatra Team. However full charges of the travel was drawn from my credit card account.(Rs.3920/-) I have been making correspondance since the date of booking ie:[protected]. Till date I have not received my refund amount. Every mail yatra team replies your refund is under process and you will get within 4-5 working days.

                            Please advice me legal option opened to me for taking up the matter.

                            Its good that Yatra took initiative to inquire further in this matter but this will only be appreciated if traveler can write here, how did yatra responded to this. What did they offered as a compensation or was the traveler happy with compensation if given.

                              We had booked Kashmir package from Yatra.Com for 3 adults & 8N-9D MAP plan basis. We had been in contact vide mails and telecon with Yatra.Com representative (Mr.Bhawar Singh Rathore), who is located at Gurgaon office, regarding our tour details and also the payments. As per the itinerary provided to us and also the holiday voucher, we were supposed to have either a 3-bedded room at each of the hotels or an extra bed provision for the 3rd adult. It was to our greatest disappointment to see that, on reaching, we were only offered a bedding at Hotel Poshwan (Gulmarg) and Hotel Pamposh (Srinagar) & a "Khatiya" at Hotel Highlands (Pahalgaom). We had been in touch personally with Mr.Bhawar (Yatra.Com) and Honeygold retreats pvt ltd (Yatra.com approved local tour operator at Srinagar) but each time we were suggested to either take the bedding and sleep on the floor or to adjust on the double bed itself. Also we were provided vegetarian food at Canberra Houseboat at Srinagar and very limited non-veg food at Pahalgaom and Gulmarg respectively though our preferences were specifically conveyed to Mr.Bhawar beforehand itself. This has been a show o[censored]tter negligence by Yatra.Com though it boasts of being such a reputed travel operator in India. We, therefore, seek an apology with a justified compensation for all the harassment we underwent in this holiday package.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I booked a ticket on line from Yatra.com from Vadodara to Guwahti via for my sister Ms Maya Dasgupta. Since there is no direct flight from Vadodara to Guwahati I chose the option Multiple City for Domestic Flight and chose the following option.
                                Leg 1 : Vadodara to Delhi Indigo Flt 6E 482 Leaving Vadodara at 09:55 on Nov 19
                                Leg 2 : Delhi to Guwahati Spacejet SG 893 Leaving Delhi at 15:20 on Nov 19
                                This leaves her sufficient time to catch the connection at Delhi. There was no message that I can not use multiple airlines. The software accepted my selection and asked me to continue on to payment screen. I got a messge ‘ THERE IS A CHANGE IN FARE ‘ I do not remember if I have accepted or ignored it. The next screen asked for details of the passenger and details of the contact person making payments which I entered including details of the credit card. The system displayed the flights which I have not checked very well and proceeded with the payment. After making the payment the details of the ticket has been displayed and I was awestruck to find that the ticket has been issued for her on Indigo Flight 4E 488 leaving Vadodara at 20:35 on Nov 19 and reaching Delhi at 22:05. And more surprising is that she has been issued a ticket on Indigo Flight 6E 221 on Nov 19 leaving Delhi 05:35 AM.
                                Immediately I contacted 1800 line and talked to the Yatra.com representative first and then his supervisor Mr. Mubarak Ali Khan and ask him that how can Yatra issue a ticket from Vadodara to Delhi at 20:35 on Nov 19 and the connecting flight from Delhi in the early morning of Nov 19 at 05:35 AM. His response was a) you should have checked before paying and b) we issued 2 PNRs. My request was to reschedule the flights as per my selection entered. I was then told that any way they cannot issue multiple airlines ticket in a single transcation so they can not help me. So I requested that please refund the amount without any cancellation charge and I shall buy 2 separate tickets. He confirmed that the total cancellation charge will be Rs. 2600 and that they cannot make an exception.
                                I pointed out that it is physically impossible for a passenger to fly from Vadodara at 20:35 and time travel to connect an earlier connecting flight. His point was we issued 2 PNRs, what it means I do not know. I have not cancelled the flights yet and request you to ask Yatra to refund the full amount and stop the multicity booking option or not allow selection of multiple airlines. I have already booked the tickets from Indigo and Spicejet directly. The copy of the Yatra ticket is attached. Please note that I made only one transaction and there is a single booking no.
                                Please let me know if you want me to give any additional detail.

                                  I booked a ticket from mumbai to rajkot on 10-sep-2012 03:28:37 pm and cancelled the same on 22-sep-2012. Yatra.Com informed me through mail that the amount (rs.722) will be credited to my account within 4 -5 working days, that too after myself sending emails to them enquiring about the refunds. Today one full month elapsed nothing beyond assurance mails from yatra.Com. Please let me know to whom we have to lodge a compaint about these ? My Yatra Reference No. is WC7WIG

                                    I have made a booking at Yatra lounge Park street kolkata 700016 for a flight from Air India from Kolkata (India) to Frankfurt (germany) on 10th August 2011.
                                    Flight from kolkata to frankfurt dated 25th August 2011 .
                                    Return flight from Frankfurt to kolkata 31st October 2011.
                                    However due to unavoidable circumstances i was unable to take a flight back from Frankfurt to Kolkata.
                                    Since there was no show for the return flight and after contacting the Air India office they told me that my tickets are valid for 1 year from the time of booking for flight schedule change ba paying a fee of 100 euro approx of i can ask for cancellation and getting the amount refund after a cancellation charge of approx 50 euro and Yatra fee ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 500.
                                    I contacted Yatra Agent name Paltu Chakraborty throught email and then phone asking him to cancel my tickets on 3rd June 2012.
                                    Mr Platu Chakraborty assured me that he has forwarded the request to yatra concerned dept for the cancellation and my refund will be credited into my icici bank account through which i have paid for the flight within 2-3 months.
                                    Now it has been more than 3 months and i can say almost 4 months still i havent received any refund from Yatra and on contacting him a month earlier he told me that his department has been changed so i should write an email to Deepjyoti Guhathakurta and also CC an email to Sonia Mehta who is the head of yatra office park street .
                                    Upon his request i did the same and it has been more than 4 weeks still no respond from them .
                                    I have contacted the yatra customer support and they keep telling me that they have forwarded the request but the yatra office from park stree isint responding .
                                    This is like a highway robbery ..

                                    yathra.com — No Refund

                                    Hi,
                                    I have done a domestic ticket cancellation on 1st June.And i had to call the customer care 12 times to get the refund for both the tickets.First time,only portion of the amount for the first ticket cancellation refund was got.Again i had to call 2 times to get the balance refund.
                                    And for the second cancellation, i have been calling the customer care every other day.And the person who answers always used to say that the refund is done.I have even got a mail from yathra.com confirming that the refund is done on 12 th June.Till now i haven't recieved the amount.
                                    Today when i called up the customer care, i am told that the refund is initiated now.
                                    It is highly unprofessional from your side to deal with the customer like this.
                                    Loosing trust of a customer is as good as loosing the business.
                                    I will never recommend anyone to get the services dione through yathra.com.

                                    this is intimation that i have credit card gold card no.XXXX XXXX XXXX 0095 in the name of K.Balasubramaniam . i have received call from yathra.com they give discount such booking through sbi card this is told me yathra .com but no charge done by your card but ask card no. cvv no. date birth , and debited amounts rs. 8026/- this is first time got the problem please i dont know weather cvv no. given problem will occur.

                                    date: 28.3.2011 sbi consutumer care called and tell them they told mail through complient registrar . than will conform after take solution .

                                    these kind of the fraud complaint will take immediate action and give me hope of postive result for me .
                                    Ticket for Pune Delhi was booked on 13/06/2013 vide refrence no[protected] PNR No QU7DAN due to some reasons same was cancelled on phone no [protected] on 19/06/2013. Refund of the same has not been received til 26/06/2013 till evening.If you failed to return myrefund within
                                    two days i shall knock the door of consumer court.Treat it most urgent.

                                      The Air fare From Coimbatore to New Delhi on 11th November was showing Rs.5469 in Yatra.com .I was given a Discount coupon also when i put that discount coupon on site It showed page error.When i called Customer support of Yatra.com The said the ticket rate is 5969.How can they charge more amount.I know 125 is processing fee.But they said 500 Rs More.When i asked the person why is this happening he scolded me and said we will charge 5969 only.Do whatever you want to.

                                      I think the company should be given punishment for that

                                        I tried to book on 8/8/2012 an air ticket from yatra.com through SBI internet banking. Confirmation of payment was also made but due to their system problem ticket was not generated and ticket price amounting to Rs. 7596/- was debited in favor of Avenues India Pvt. Ltd. from my account. After series of contact with the concerned customer support of Yatra.com, I got a mail stating the payment was not charged to them. If the the payment was not charged to them nor reverted to my account, then where it lies? Please look into the matter and take necessary action at an earliest. Already 10 days have been passed from the date of making booking effort. You you may mail or contact me if any further feed back is necessary. Thanking you.
