Dear Sir,
1. I am presently employed in UN Mission outside India. I have taken Tour package from Yatra for UK and Europe for my family i.e wife and two children. As I m staying abroad the deal has been made that they I will be applying Visa from my place of work and for my wife and children they will be responsible. However documents required for Visa like Hotel Booking, air tickets, Insurance etc will be provided by them only.

2. Accordingly I have applied for Visa for UK and Europe in respective Embassies. However UK Embassy has refused the vis stating following:-
(a) They couldnot verify the hotel Booking provided by Yatra.
(b) They asked for Europe Visa also
3. When I told Yatra intially they accepted their Mistake but later on the started saying sir that it is group booking and they Might have checked booking in your name etc.
4. Finally they said that we should convert our package to Europe instead o[censored]K and Europe and they said we will send you the revised cost.
5. Instead of repeated correspondence they kept buying time and took almost seven days and finally they have send just one mail saying that their is increase of 1, 60, 000/- due to various reason like rescheduling of flight etc and they asking us to bear 50% of the cost without giving any further details.
6. They have send the mail today only and also saying that I have to give decision today only otherwise as per policy they will forfeit my 80, 000/- which is initial booking amount.
7. Now i am feeling helpless and request for guidance on the matter.

    Dear yatra,

    I hereby write to bring to your notice that I, ishparkash singh booked a homestay at Tarkarli from 25/03/2016 to 27/03/2016 and the experience i had was much more than just miserable as the photos posted by yatra on the site were no way near the actual place that was alloted to me at tarkarli . First of all the address given was improper and it took me almost an hour and a half to get to the place and that too after i managed a call to yatra people from a place where there was hardly any connectivity . But once I entered the room it was nothing but a dharamsala whereas pictures uploaded on your site portrayed it as a starred place . On contacting the yatra people regarding the issue they asked me to upload the pictures but how could i upload the pictures where there was hardly any connectivity still i tried and failed and they after mentioning on the call that they would certainly call me back after 15 or 20 minutes, they never did and i had to stay in there with my group which was quite insulting infact and you be rest assured that i wont be taking a back on this issue until and unless the justice is served . You people had ruined my trip and its You who are going to pay for it, NOT ME . My reference No was [protected] booking for TG STAYS TARKARLI, MALVAN MAHARASHTRA .
    Since my trip has been done and dusted all i want is you refunding my money back to my account no cashbacks nothing else i am certainly filing a case against you along with the proofs of the pictures that you people upload and make a fool out of your customers.

      With reference to your trailing mail, had a discussion with Shalaka, please find details

      Before had a talk with Manish, have received a call from Rekha on same subject line.

      1. Shalaka is completely denying that she haven't said that Sangam had occupied hotel from 24th - 26th March, and today is 26th called to Shalaka from Pune

      2. Shalaka confirmed that telephonic discussion with Travel agent was not audible.

      3. Generally, Shalaka will receive list of customers who checked in on daily basis, if Shalaka confirmed that Sangam had checked in on 24th March, please share me the list

      4. Also during check-in every hotel will insist for an Id proof, I want that proof of Id I have submitted

      5. Also all copies of hotel invoices I have signed

      6. I have dropped Manish number with Shalaka, she will be giving a call with Manish to re-confirm


      MANISH, LETS HAVE A CONFERENCE CALL BETWEEN YOU, ME & SHALAKA TO DISCUSS FURTHER.

      Once Shalaka speaks with Manish, will give a call to understand where my issue stands.

      Hello All,

      I have booked a hotel room from Yatra portal at Kohinoor Samudra Beach Resort Beach for two days from 24th to 26th March on 21st March, 2016.

      For this I have received a conformation from Yatra that room booked vide booking reference number [protected].

      Next day around 10:00 pm, receive an email from Yatra that they couldn't arrange a room for me as per my choice of hotel.

      Based on the mail, have called customer support next day around 8:00 am, and support representative confirmed that they tried to call hotel and couldn't reach hotel and confirm my booking and suggested me to go for cancellation.

      As per telephonic discussion had with yatra customer support have initiated cancellation and also as spoken to support team with almost 5 different support representative, last spoke to Navneet, till now haven't received and confirmation from Yatra that my request of cancellation executed and refund initiated.

      Would like to know the status of my request.

          On the night of 24th march 2016 i booked a bus ticket from gandhinagar to udaipur on yatra.com boarding time and date 8:45 am 25th march 2016. 1 hour before the boarding time when i inquired about the if there is any delay travel agency said the bus has been cancelled. I didn't received any messages of sudden cancellation from them.
          Then i booked another ticket boarding time and date 12:15 pm 25th march 2016 on yatra.com. Same thing happened again, this bus also get cancelled due to some unknown reason. Again didn't received any messages from them about the cancellation.
          After these two incidents when i called yatra.com to complain about it, they said they don't have any information about this. If the buses are really cancelled, i will get my refund.
          They weren't seemed like they have any regret about my inconvenience. Because of this my whole plan and day got ruined.
          I would like to register a complain against yatra.com for their nonprofessional behavior.

            Dear sir
            I mr. Bhabatosh mishra booked a hotel (Hotel rudraksh palace ) at ujjain through yatra.com having booking reference number: [protected] and invoice no: dvtg/2016‐17/2776330 having voucher number a-804811. On sunday 20 th march 2016.
            And also paid for that a total of ₹15652 .00 with transaction id :[protected], ₹15471.00 + transaction id : 7c[protected]c30q0-ylp, ₹181.00.
            They also gave me confirmation voucher having voucher no : a-804811.
            But on next day i.E on 21st march 2016 afternoon some one called (Mr amit kumar) from yatra.com called me and forced me to cancel the booking as per him the property is sold out.
            But i have the question why they gave me confirmation and deduct my money immediately. And why should i cancel my booking.
            I need the booking not the money .
            Not expecting such kind of behaviour from a reputed company.

              I tried to book ticket from yatra.com but not able to success and got below msg


              "Dear Customer,
              In case you have already received an email confirmation for your booking, ignore rest of the email.

              If, however, you were unable to complete your booking (Reference number: [protected]) due to payment failure, please Click here to complete your booking"

              when I tried to contact customer support the told the the not receive payment from bank

              Then I ask from bank and got the below reply


              PRN (Payment Reference Number) is[protected]

              "I understand that the payment processed for Rs. 10, 264.00 on[protected] is debited from your account and the PRN (Payment Reference Number) is[protected] and the payment information was sent to the bille"

              But now I am trying to reach yatra support but no body reply

                I tried railway booking ticket and did payment via Paytm wallet. But unfortunately ticket wasn't booked giving "website fatal error" and amount was deducted from paytm wallet .

                I tried following up with paytm even, they said, amount was successfully transferred to Yatra.com account . So I must follow up Yatra.com .
                I'm unable to log complain on Yatra website as it keeps giving "technical error"
                Please look into this matter .

                  I have booked a package where i am misguided and provided wrong flight details and when i ask for solution not only the sales executive but your product manager PRIYANKA SINGH literally shouted on me without even understanding my problem and keep blabbering about her work-ex, how she designed product and not even make a effort to understand actual problem.

                  Being a customer i expect yatra provide me lifetime experience, yes i got lifetime experience but a negative one because she literally harassed me, wherein my life nobody has spoken me like that.This may sound rubbish but person with higher powers should be down to earth and understand ground level problems.Is everything about money for you guys then why do you claim yatra is service oriented or customer oriented firm.

                  My first and worst experience from Yatra, after this I expect at least anyone to understand my request and provide me a solution and take strict actions against your product manager.

                    It has been a nightmare booking my holiday trip flight tickets through yatra.com.

                    I had booked flight tickets to South Africa, due to some constraints in Visa application I could not travel on the scheduled date hence called yatra and asked them to move the booking status to "open", where in I could reschedule at a later date. For which the customer service rep I spoke with confirmed it is done. To get this done I had to call 24 Hrs prior to the scheduled flight but I called even before that.

                    A few days later when I called yatra again to cancel the booking they said I have not called them to make any changes to the flight ticket. This surprised me and spoke with the manager. The gentleman I spoke with said that they have no record of the conversation and nothing could be done now. The airlines has the status as "No show" for my ticket. Which could only mean that Yatra messed up and did not change the booking status on my first call.

                    I wrote to the CEO with anticipation he would respond but he has not bothered to yet. Is there anyone who could help me out with this? Please Help!

                      I had booked my return travel tickets to San Francisco through yatra's online portal www.yatra.com and paid a consideration of Rs. 1, 02, 080/- (Rs. One Lac Two Thousand And Eighty Only) for the same. That prior to booking the travel tickets from them, I was constantly in touch with your customer care executive, after the transaction got failed when I was trying to book online. The executive did not inform me that additional visa is required for my to and fro travel to San Francisco even though my flight had layovers/stopovers and it was no where mentioned on the site also that I would require a schenzen visa.
                      After which, I booked my tickets on 27th June 2015. That within an hour of booking the ticket, I was informed by them that I would require a Transit Visa for my return flight from Toronto-Mumbai which had Munich and Zurich as stopovers.
                      That shocked and surprised by such information, I promptly inquired from Lufthansa Airlines and German Embassy about the Visa requirements who told that I would require a full fledged Schengen Visa and not just Transit Visa, which was later agreed upon by Yatra's visa department.
                      In my complaint wide reference id YT14828616, dated 29.06.2015 repeatedly asked for help from Yatra's customer care executive as I had submitted my original documents in Canadian Embassy for grant of Visa which takes around 20-25 days in processing and applying for Schengen Visa at that juncture was not possible as that would take a month and she was flying to San Francisco on 14th August 2015.
                      That expecting support and apologies from yatra, I wrote numerous e-mails to yatra expressing my grievance which fell on deaf ears as I wanted to change my flight of travel without paying cancellation fee that the same entails.
                      That due to yatra's incompetency, I had to cancel my tickets and re-book the same for different dates and shell out Rs.17, 000(Rs. Seventeen Thousand Only) as cancellation fee.
                      That since it was yatra's fault that the Visa requirements were not effectively communicated to me either prior to or during the ticket booking, yatra has caused great harassment to me including monetary loss.
                      even after sending the legal notice there is no response from Yatra.

                        I had booked a trip from mumbai to Bali on Yatra.com. They said they will issue tickets only 3 days prior to journey. Even then I did not receive the tickets and hotel voucher. After calling them I got to know that the person handling my booking has resigned and nobody has been assigned for the job.

                        I called several times but every time there was the same reply: "We will arrange a call back". After this had happened 8 times I insisted that I will hold the line till a person is assigned. After taking to the supervisor, I finally got the tickets and voucher.

                        My hotel booking ended one day before my departure and tour itinerary started before my arrival !! The flight ticket had my wife's name reversed ! The hotel I had chosen was booked only for half the period and for next three days a different hotel in a different locality was booked !
                        Now I was in full panic. This took almost 20-30 calls and 10-12 emails to correct.

                          I purchased a plane ticket with Yatra.com for Holi vocations to Kathmendu with the family (Case number:YT[protected]. About one month from the flying date I received a call saying that the Air India flight was canceled and offered 2 options:
                          - Flight in another date (which is not feasable to me because I will not be on leave)
                          - Ticket refund

                          I chose to be refunded so that i can still try to book somewhere else the holidays just to find out that it is not simple. They requested documents and handwritten letters which I provided and now they say that will take 30-45 days for the refund.

                          This is not acceptable at all. You purchased a service from Yatra, paid in advance (my credit card has a debit to Yatra), the service was not delivered and the money is not being returned. They tell me to contact the airlines and they said the best they can do is to refund in 30-45 days which will not help me to book a new ticket for the holidays.

                          I feel like I went into a store to purchase refrigerator because yours is broken. After making the payment they say they do not have the refrigerator than you ask for the money back and they say it will take 30-45 days to refund you. So you do not get the needed refrigerator nor the money to purchase it somewhere else. Is this Allowed? Legal? Right?

                          All I want is either receiving the service i paid for or the refund of the money already taken from months within a reasoable maount of days. Say 2-3days. Am I going to receive any interest????

                          This is the worse customer care i have ever seen. Yatra took my money, did not deliver the sold good and will take 30-45working days to refund me. In what wolrd is this acceptable????? I advice everybody not to use this company. They not only careless about canceling and not delivering the flights sold as they hold your money for the time they please.

                          Will i receive any interest for the time you are keeping my money without autorization?

                          I received my SBI card(No. [protected]) before 3 months and i applied for Balance Transfer of 90 days. In 60 days i paid all my dues. Again when i applied for BT they charged me finance charges on my previous purchases. And when i had a word with Cust Care exe. they told sir we cannot do anything, We will listen your call and than we will come back to you. Sbi card provides Insurance with out informing us of Rs 6 Lacs and when i told them to cancel they told i will not get the amount reversal.

                          I now received anothe contact from Yatra asking again from my hand written letter and documents.
                          Did Yatra loose all the documents I have previouslly sent? This company is so disorganized! Can't anybody do anything about it?! Meanwhile no refund has been processed.

                            This complaint is regarding how Yatra Online is collecting funds from passengers by showing Flight options that donot exist. Stranded in Punjab due to the recent Jaat agitation, we checked on Yatra Online for a domestic flight option for 23-Feb-16 from Chandigarh to Delhi. The site showed an option of Air India, AI - 1464 that was available. We booked the flight, once the payment of INR 20104 was made, it reflected the flight is not available. I cancelled the booking asking for a refund to my account. However, Yatra smartly reflected it in e-Cash, with an option o[censored]sing this anytime. This is a cheap strategy to collect funds, from passengers & binding them to use Yatra in future. I request Yatra to refund back the charged amount back into my account from where the payment was made & modify their software to include the option of refunding the money back to the account. This would make Yatra a more credible company on which people can rely for their travels rather than applying the current cheap tricks.

                              Yatra cancelled my package on 4th December - package cost was 90, 000/=. They said they will refund the full amount, they refunded 47, 900/= and said within 30-35 days they will refund the balance - when I called them after 45 days they said we have some issue so we need another 10-15 days, When I am calling them after they are still saying we need more time. It has been more than 2 months now and they are not refunding my amount.

                                  I had booked my Australia Tour through Yatra Online at Kolkata, Mirza ghalib Street. I have contacted Mr.Soumya Ghosh, a yatra representative . He offered me entire package from Visa issue to hotel booking. As per their requirement initially he ask me to pay Rs 80, 000/-, which had been paid in two installment.They asked me to submit the paper for visa approval as per their instruction i have given all my relevant document for the process. My tour suppose to start on 10th December, 2015 my booking reference provided by them is -YH 2175779. After submitting of document they had taken a responsibility to approve the visa, unfortunately my visa had been refused by Australian Consulate, Since I have full desire to visit Australia but due to visa cancelled i was unable to. After going through the visa paper, I found my visa was applied in 600 subclass 211 which is purely applicable for Business Trip, where as my trip was only to explore Australia nothing else. It is very sad to get a treatment from well established Travel agent. Since Visa was deny, my tour got cancelled because of them . I should be getting back my full money whereas they are saying you will not be getting any refunds. When I asked for Cancellation /Refund document they are simply denying. So i would request you to kindly look into matter and resolve the same at your convenience.

                                    I have booked a hotel through yatra .com and my booking was confirmed and I got a confirmation mail from yatra regarding the same on 9th Dec 2015 I booked my flight tickets accordingly but now they have refunded the amount of hotel booking without even informing regarding the same they kept me wating for more than 60 days and today they left a mail that within 30 minutes we will cancel the booking and when I called at there call centre I was surprised to know that they have changed my no.                                         I had booked the yatra super saver international package with Mr Deepak Anand on 1st jan 2016 by paying booking amount of Rs 10000. i was being assured by him that if i plan to cancel my booking well in advance I will be given full refund of money within 2 days. I sent him a mail to cancel my booking and it was being acknowledged saying that it will be processed in a week. its been a month now and I am still fighting for refund. Everytime I mail them they just have a standard line that it will be processed soon. I see a similar complain has been registered by another guy. I don't know how many people he has cheated before. Please do not make any payments to this Mr. Deepak Anand. I am in urgent need of money, and he is not returning my money. Please Sue him and help me to get my money back
