Yesterday evening, I made a booking from DEL to BLR for tomorrow. I have yatra money I used for this flight in it's entirety. I phoned this morning with the booking reference ([protected]) and no flight can be found. The customer service person wasn't very helpful saying there is nothing that can be done, and that I have to re-book a new flight. I have an international card, which can not be used to book domestic flights, which is really silly may I add. I explained this, saying the travel date is tomorrow, and that yatra have obviously taken the money, so therefore issue a new ticket. She told me it was a 'non-booking' day. How on earth does a travel company have a 'non-booking' day. I asked to speak to a senior, as if I have to re-book a new flight, the price may change and that if I pay with an international card, I am incurring cost, she told me there are no managers, but seniors are there. Finally she said I can book using my international card, and that someone will call me back as she can not transfer my call. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can not believe any of this to be true. I even asked her to hold a ticket until they can refund the eCash, she said can not be done. So, Yatra, what on earth are you doing? If you are unable to serve the public with simple flight tickets, I suggest you pack up shop.
