I made a holiday booking from Yatra for Sikkim tour on 20-28th may. I had made the payment 1 month prior and Yatra had given me voucher for my hotel confirmations.
But when I reached Gangtok, I got to know that no hotels were booked for me. I called yatra and they gave a hotel which was in a jungle on the opposite hill of gangtok (not in gangtok city around 8 kms away)
I had children and women with me in my family and it was unsafe for me to stay there. So I came back to Gangtok and had to rome and booked hotels on my own.
My whole day was wasted contacting Yatra executives, but no response from them.
When I had made the payment and bookings a month ago, why were my hotels not booked?

Now after my trip, one of the executives named Megha Matta told me that I will get a refund of Rs.44700 in 8-10 days. But now it has been more than 10 days I havent got my refund back. And when I contacted Yatra the executives are telling that my reference id- YH2618954 is not showing in their system. I mean what kind of a fraud is this.

    Dear Sir,
    Yatra Booking Reference Number –[protected]th June 2016– Kochi to Hyderabad – Jet Airways - PNR GRFQXN)
    My father was denied boarding by the airlines stating your ticket is not confirmed. He was to attend the funeral of his sister in law .He missed it due to the lapse on your part. He incurred an expense of Rs 2000 as to and fro taxi to airport.
    In addition the mental agony he had gone through being a senior citizen has to be compensated by you.
    You have sent a message the ticket money will be refunded to me in 7 working days and that amount has not been received.
    I request you to credit to my account my taxi fare, ticket fare plus compensation of Rs 20000 for the mental torture he had suffered for no fault.
    Your positive response will be appreciated.

      Dear yatra authority, i was trying to book flight ticket dated 03\06\16 from yatra.com on 25\05\16 but ticket was not booked though rs.3861 deducted from my paytm wallet and even i got rs 386 as cashback on paytm wallet..i got call minutes after from mr. jitender from ur gurgaon call centre that trnsaction is declined and u have to repay to book ticket..he said ur earlier money from paytm wallet which was deducted will be refunded.BOOOKING REFERENCE NO:[protected]...FLIGHT FROM MUMBAI TO DELHI dated 3rd june 2016...i've called ur customer care service several times but i havnt got my refund...if my money is not refunded i will go in consumer court .

        I booked 3 back to back flights on 4th Jun'16 within half an hour.
        2 ticket details are coming fine, but in 3rd ticket somehow passenger details are coming incorrect. When I contacted them 1st time, they took 2 day of time to say that the fault is from my side and I have given wrong details. Then when I asked them, how can you say its my fault, they just simply sent me one excel sheet attached below.
        I am continuously sending emails to customer support, but these people are as silent as desert in night which makes me double sure that it was a app fault/bug which was the cause. If its a mistake from my side then they should answer me instead of hiding and not answering.

        Hi,

        I am not sure what this screenshot is all about. This can be prepared over an excel easily.

        This details I can see in the ticket also, which is totally of no use and incorrect.
        Please provide a proper proof that it is a mistake from my side.

        I booked 3 tickets continuously. How come only one has problem. I want to understand it was not a System Fault. If you are conforming, I will take up further.

        I am waiting for your response. I am not getting any idea what you are waiting for??

        The more time you guys are taking in answering my query, I am getting more and more sure that it was a Yatra App bug which resulted in this mistake.

        For me its a matter of 3000 bucks, I hope you will not let your reputation down. I was using Yatra as my first choice of booking, but this kind of irresponsible behavior is not expected.

          We have booked a trip from yatra.com, reference number :- yh2681094. A full packaged trip to himachal pradesh, for 5n and 6d with an ac car toyota etios sedan.

          These people make fake promises the proof are as follows :-

          1. On arrival to chandigarh airport, we were received by swift desire instead of toyota etios. So, i called the emergency number then they told me to adjust as both are the same car. Do these peoples think we all are a fool?
          Still we have adjusted and told the driver it's ok, let's go to manali.

          2. Our driver mr. Pradeep singh, who picked us from chandigarh airport, was
          One of the worst driver one can imagine on a holiday trip.
          Actually, the driver has its own travel agency managed by him, so from the first day onwards he was telling that you must have booked a trip from me, and not yatra because they provide worst hotels at a high price, and i will give hotel[protected] onwards. He gave us his card.

          3. Driver was a moody person and a greedy one too. He made us fool many times as we were visiting a new place. First he told us there is no paragliding in solang valley, just because he had an agent who will give him money if he brings tourists to his paragliding zone in kullu manali. Similar to that in river rafting, he took us to his preplanned agents and made us pay more then actual rates. He made us pay 6000/- for a river rafting for 4person.

          4. We have fixed a cab to rotang pass (Snow zone) without informing our driver at 6000/- for everything which includes cloths and alto car for rotang pass as our driver told 7000/- for it. When he knew that we have booked a car at 6000/- he went fighting with the local agent and made the prices higher adding his own commision into it.

          5. Yatra.com has promised some site scenes at the start of the booking which they havn't fullfilled. They have promised to take us to kufri a point in shimla were tourist are attracted, but our driver dint took us to kufri, instead he told us to stay at maal road for the whole day and wasted our time. When we told him to take us to kufri at 4pm he told i cannot take you to kufri and i am the owner of this car, not yatra's servant. He took us to hotel and dropped us at hotel.

          6. While booking of hotels, we have told yatra to book two rooms aside (Like 301and 302) but they have fooled us, and gave rooms one on first floor and other on second which they told they have booked rooms aside to each other.

          7. I have booked a whole packaged trip in which i was told by yatra.com that i will have to pay 0rs for petrol, toll tax, parking etc.. But our driver made us to pay money for parking. I want justice, i want that somebody take actions aginst that greedy driver and fake promises by yatra.

          Yatra made us pay entire money for all the site scenes in shimla, right?
          Ask your driver mr. Pradeep singh, if he had taken us to kufri or any sites aside to it?
          All my money got wasted of shimla, what about that?
          I will definitely give you second chance if you sincerely return my one day trip to kufri's expenditure.

          If you really accept your mistake then pay me back the amount which you had added to my package for kufri and site scene beside it for that day in shimla.

          Even you take the full payment before booking any hotels or so, money matters for you then listen money also matters for common peoples who make there efforts to plan such trips in year or so.

          Kindly prove your apology here, people are not.

            Last year i contacted yatra.com from Canada to book a flight ticket to India for December. Later i had to cancel my booking for personal reasons.
            Just few days ago i got very offensive texts from a personal number. Turns out this person is an employee or is working for yatra.com. When told i will lodge a complaint, the person got verbally abusive.
            How irresponsible is it on the company's side to let your agents use customer numbers to harass them like this, especially when i live so far away from the country. Seems like living so far away I am being harassed by my own people home.
            The agent ID of the agent i spoke to last year for my booking is AGENTID04458279 and the name of the person is Prabhat Jain, and he is from Delhi, India.
            I would like you'll to take some action against this person, since not only is this an issue of an agent misusing information i provided the company in confidence, but is also an issue of cyber crime.

              Dear sir/madam,

              I have very horrible experience from yatra.com and i really doubt what services i will get during my holidays. Details as under.

              1. I booked hotel through yatra.com on 21st may as with booking id yh2687888. My hotel booking is from 22nd june to 28th june at goa for honeymoon package.
              2. I got email confirmation from yatra.com with attached invoice receipt of rs. 5300/- for advance of 25% amount. Attached invoice don’t show anything of balance payment to be made
              3. Mr sarthak singh (Sarthak. [protected]@yatra.com) confirmed over phone that balance payment can be made at hotel directly. Unfortunately i don’t have any call recordings. It was never informed that i need to pay balance amount.
              4. There was 3 lines in email mentioning payment to be done 19 days prior of start of trip. I didn’t get any reminder email or a call.
              5. Now after almost 16 days when i wanted to get print outs of hotel tckets. When i was not able to take prints, i called customer service center to confirm about procedure to take print out of ticket.
              6. It was informed that i need to make balance payment to take print outs. If i fail to pay then booking will be cancelled and will not get refund of booking amount as well.
              7. Its really unfortunate that for more than 2 weeks no one even bothered to send a single line email or a call asking me to make payment.
              8. Now i had to arrange payment from my friend. Now i have made all the payments to yatra.com. Still i am not able take print out of tickets.
              9. I feel like cheated from yatra.com in this case. At least a single call or email was expected from representative of yatra.com
              10. I will never recommend yatra for their trips. I really afraid now about what services i will get if start is like this.

              I never thought my marriage leave will start like this. If i need to do all these arrangements and face so much troubles, then i wonder why i should choose yatra.com.

                I have booked a flight ticket from srinagar to hyderabad, telangana state on 24-05-16 and an amount of rs.16787 was debited towards booking reference[protected] from my account and immediately i got a message that the ticket was unconfirmed and refund requst has already initiated and the amount rs.16787 will be refunded to my account within 5-7 working days. But the same was not refunded/credited to my account even after the expiry of said period.
                Hence requesting for the immediate refund of my amount.

                    First time abroad.In bangkok. Through yatra. Cheated and harassed continuously. Bluffed. Deceived. Saying one thing n cancelling the tour in the next moment. Robbed us of money.                       I booked a ticket for Rs. 11076 just before 15-20 minutes of booking
                      another ticket for Rs. 15867 as the first ticket for Rs.
                      11076 somehow got refunded to ecash without intimation and thus, later
                      on I had to spend Rs. 4591 extra for the same ticket. However on other
                      similar sites at the same time the rate for this flight was Rs. 11076,
                      but I was compelled to book from yatra.com as I had to use the ecash.
                      This is really unfair and I request you to refund the excess amount of
                      Rs. 4591 unethically charged by you by using some technical gimmick.
                      Please consider this as a request formal letter.

                          In my experience, yatra is one of the worst travel company ever. Booking a package with Yatra.com seems committing suicide. I had been part of Yatra for so long, so I can say working with yatra is more worst than to book something with yatra. This Comany is good for nothing for its employees. Pathetic work experience working with Yatra.com. No one is ready to take employee feedback there. Mr. Shringi has got some highly educated but extremely non capable people in his core Yatra team, and they are least bother to know that whats going on in the organisation. Expensive gifts being exchanged to get the promotions. No matter how good you work, your promotions are based on how much butter you put on your seniors face. Yatra works policy of no investment and maximum profit. Employees of yatra pretend to be happy however none of them even is actually happy.

                          In cut short a company without proper management, and good for nothing.

                          Doesn't matter whether you book a package or you work with yatra, Yatra will bring you at a point where you will think that its better I will commit suicide than dealing with This pathetic organisation.

                            Respected madam/sir,

                            I, dr. Paresh thakkar, had booked eurpoe tour through m/s yatra.com - ahmedabad office.

                            Since it was my very firt international tour, i had booked the complete package through yatra and paid the total charges - including visa charges, hotel booking charges, sight-seeing charges, europe rail tickets etc.

                            Now coming to the main point, during my return journey from rome (Fco international airport) to mumbai via lhr - london heathrow airport, after i finished all the boarding formalities, got the boarding pass of flight-9w5972 from rome (Fco airport) to london heathow. And when i was about to board the plane - flight 9w5972 from fco to lhr, time 17:20 local time, 19th may 2016; i was denied to board the plane just 10 minutes before the scheduled flight stating the reason that mine was schnezen visa. Since my entire package was planned by expert professinals of yatra and i fully trusted them while booking my travel package, and it was first international tour. Also by profession i am a doctor and i had taken their services as i wanted a hassle-free europe tour.
                            I was not aware that to board flight from rome to mumbai (Via lhr) schenzen visa was not sufficient. It was the duty of yatra to have arranged flight through schenzend country only for my return journey.

                            I immediately contacted yatra to sort out the issue but they raised thier hands and were not picking my phone-calls. As a result i was stranded on fco airport and was under tremendous stress since i did not have sufficient money to arrange the ticket from rome to mumbai, on my own.

                            This was complete harassment to me (A doctor by profession) and i was put in stressful situation by yatra.
                            This resulted in complete harassment and mental torture for almost 4 hours to me.

                            After coming to india i tried to contact yatra but they refused to accept their mistake and inform me that this is your fault and we are not ready to refund your money.

                            Now i want refund of my travel expense from rome to mumbai immediately from yatra.

                              Most disappointed services from brand like yatra.

                              NO planning, no customer value.

                              I have booked for another hotel, Yatra team changed my hotel at their wish and provided me hotel for those I specifically denied at the time of booking. During the course of booking, they always shown me the hotels for which I confirmed and changed my hotel in voucher. After a long discussion with concerned guys they provide me a refund of odd Rs 3000, which was below than actual difference in package cost. I given up and accepted their offer as I need to travel.

                              But the verdict does not end their, at destination I was dropped by taxi at hotel as provided in travel voucher. at the hotel after a long waiting of more than 1 hour, I came to know my hotel changed again to another hotel, which is a low graded property and the local coordinator there told to go their your self, for local travel arrangement the will provide refund (for which they never contact me again).

                              Fell very guilty that I have chosen yatra for my holiday.

                              Literally I never know this type of worse services are being provided by yatra.

                                K.Venugopal, Ref no:YH2615734, would like to complain regarding the things which were not fulfilled as per your itenary and the behavior of Mr.Naresh in Manali.

                                1. On 7th May the bus from Delhi reached Manali at 11.30 A.M.
                                When we contacted Mr.Naresh for vehicle for transportation to the respective hotel in Manali, he told us to arrange for ourselves as the bus came late and there were no vehicles, the vehicle which was allotted for us went away.

                                2. How are we responsible for the late arriving of the bus to Manali? Is it not your responsibility to provide the transportation according to the package?

                                3. When we reached the said hotel as directed by Mr.Naresh over phone to "Prini Palace", The hotel people said that yatra.com people didn't book rooms here.

                                4. When we contacted him again regarding the rooms he told to call customer care for the booking of the rooms. Is this how you people respond to the customers who already paid their package?

                                5. We tried for 1 and half hours to customer care then we came into contact with the customer care. Then they told us it's a different hotel by name "Solang Ski Resort" which was very far away from Manali in solang valley itself. Mr.Naresh said he doesn't know about this hotel information. We had to stay on the roads for more than 2.5 hours with kids just because of your and Mr. Naresh's irresponsible behavior.

                                6. Even in the itenary it was written "Prini Palace ". How can you people be so irresponsible?

                                7. On 7th evening as per the schedule you should take us to Manali mall road. Mr.Naresh denied that according to the itenery sent to him this program was not there. We hired a cab for ourselves which costed Rs.1500/-.
                                8. The whole 7th day we wasted because of your miscommunication and irresponsibility. We believed your yatra.com and expected the best but it was the WORST ever trip we had. I would rate it "0".

                                9. You people hided the information regarding the closure of Rohtang pass when we booked the package. Because it is closed for a long-time and waiting for the court judgment or clearance from NGT. It is your minimum responsibility to inform us regarding the same so that we can plan according in other dates. Because of your information, miscommunication and irresponsibility out trip was ruined to the core.

                                9. We were embarrassed on 7th at Prini Palace and the whole day was wasted because of your irresponsibility. I had faced lot of problems in that way for making me stand on the roads, even my wife and kids went through lot of mental torture at a new place without knowing what to do, whom to contact as Mr.Naresh told that to contact Helpline as he doesn't have information regarding this, this is just because of your irresponsible behavior.
                                10. We were the only inmates of the hotel from 8th May on wards which scares us a lot. How can your yatra.com people can be so irresponsible? We had not even slept in the night as we were the only inmates of the hotel.

                                11. I would like to inform you that we are planning for further action on these issues.

                                on 7th morning at 11.00 a.m we reached Manali .soon after reaching Manali we contacted the concerned yatra person, Mr.Naresh, who told us to take our own taxi as the bus was late.This bus was booked by yatra team.so, how are we responsible for the delay of the bus? since we didn't had any option, we took a taxi (our own expenses) and as directed by mr.Naresh we went to hotel prini palace.
                                It is mr.naresh who told us to go to hotel prini palace when we asked him. when we went to the said hotel we came to know that no rooms were booked under our names.
                                Again we called mr.naresh, he said as per his itenary he told it was hotel prini palace and told us to call customer care.
                                After trying for 1 and half an hour we came into contact with customer care people who told us that the rooms were booked in hotel solang ski.
                                Til then i.e., for 2hours, me along with my wife and 2 daughters we were on the roads.
                                This happened beacuse of miscommunication between you people and we sufferred and embarrassed in public even after such huge amount to yatra people.
                                According to our itenary which was mailed to us, on 7th evening we should be taken to mall road. When we called mr.Naresh regarding this he denied saying that there was no such programme at all and yatra team didnt inform this to him.
                                He told us to take our own cab with our own expenses if we want to go.
                                The behiour and attitude of mr.naresh was very bad and there was lot of miscommunication between yatra team for which we had to pay huge price.
                                On 8th may we were the only inmates of the hotel which literally scared us to death as the hotel was in outskirts and very far away from Manali.
                                I had to safe guard 3 females (my wife and 2 daughters) on 8th because we were the only inmates of the hotel.
                                Regarding Rohatang pass, your Agent told that it was open and thats the reason why we booked this package.
                                In the above comment you told that you clarified with your agent, who will tell the truth? check your recoreded phone calls regarding this.
                                We came to know that it is closed since 1 year and the judgement is pending in the honourable high court which may be released on 9th or 10th or even later.This information was totally hided from us.
                                Yatra people cheated in all the above issues.
                                We are respected people and because of the embarrassement and cheating caused by yatra team we had to undergo lot of mental trauma and huge amount of loss.
                                We believed in yatra team and as a result we lost huge amount of money, we had to pay lots of money for the taxis, we underwent lot of embarassement and lot of mental trauma which is unaccountable.
                                Everyone goes for vacation to relax and enjoy not to go through all these embarassments, cheating and mental torture.
                                If we had enjoyed the trip as per yatra team promised regarding the package i would have given excellent raings and would have thanked yatra team for giving us so much happiness. Instead we went through lot of problems at each and every step of the trip which is unpardonable.
                                Hence we request the Consumer Complaints Forum to do justice .

                                  I, priyanka rawat was to fly from delhi to hyderabad in the morning flight indigo 6e-303 with pnr no : gev8ux. I reached 6:20 at the airport. On asking for the boarding pass at the boarding counter, an executive of indigo denied for giving pass. They told me that i was late and need to book the ticket again. I missed an important meeting at office. They didn't even tried to help me out. They simply said me to buy a ticket for rs11, 000 for one way.
                                  When i called the customer care, they said me they can't do anything from there, rescheduling of the flight can be done but from the airport only before the flight takes off.
                                  Why they didn't mention all these things at the airport? They were constantly forcing me to take the new flight which was very expensive.

                                  Now they are saying they will refund only service tax rs711.

                                  I want you take a serious action against the executive standing at the boarding counter else you lose the trust of your regular customer also i would not prefer any friend or relative of mine to take this flight.

                                  Also, don't force me to take this matter to a higher level. I want a solution as soon as possible.

                                  Seriously, not expected from indigo!!

                                    I booked 6 bus tickets of shatabdi express bus (Round trip) from kolkata to siliguri (3rd june) and from siliguri to kolkata (7th june).. I paid the total money rs. 6000 then. I was emailed my tickets then. But the return tickets were showing unconfirmed. It was shocking. I paid rs. 3000 for those return tickets but it was not booked yet.

                                    Then i tried to cancel my 6 round trip tickets and rebook them. But it was shown that only rs. 2700 would be refunded.
                                    And truly, the contact numbers of the site was of no use as well as the email id.
                                    This very poor service and irresponsibility of this site is literally harming us.
                                    I want my to get my return tickets confirmed as soon as possible.

                                      I booked tickets to mangalore from hyderabad on 26 may 2016 through yatra app .but tickets have been confirmed on 16 may 2016.immediately i tried to cancel though website but none of the portal like cancellation portal rescheduling portal are not working .i tried to reach customer namer provided by yatra [protected] but in vain.the number provider by them is not at all working.so i immediately mailed this issue to [protected]@yatra.com, [protected]@yatra.com, [protected]@yatra.com but no response received from their side. i paid 3647 of my hard earned money to this yatra people and no one is ready to adress my issue.attaching all my emails and their portal images to cancel tickets.please find them and do needful

                                        I am a widow, i planned a singapore trip with my kids. On 22nd feb with yatra.com, for 10th or 17th of may. I earlier inform them that my father - in-law is not feeling well, if something happen they have to extend my tickets. Sir i did my whole payment on 11th of may, unfortunately he died on 12th of may and i send them all document which they demand e;g death certificate etc. Till then or now i didn't received any air booking or hotel booking detail from them. Yesterday they send me the mail, in that they said they cancelled my booking without my knowledge, which was so embarrassing. They r not ready to give my payment. I stopped 30% payment which i did with my credit card on 11th may. Need your help. I am a widow sir kindly help me in this matter. Its my humble request to you sir to solve my problem. Its my hard earned money sir, don't let them cheat me.
