I ordered ultimate savings bucket from KFC which includes 3 different types of chicken, Pepsi and some useless dips. But only 1/3 of the chicken was delivered. I contacted Zomato customer care right away and asked for refund for the missing items. The customer care guy confirmed that the items were missing by calling the restaurant. But even after confirming the problem, he did not agree to refund me the correct amount. The only thing he offered me was a useless promo code, that too for 1/2 of the price of the missing items.
This is not a one-off case either. I regularly recieve less items in my order and whenever I ask for refund for the missing items, i always recieve some stupid promo code and patronizing replies from their customer care. In this case it feels like they are blatantly cheating me off my money even after accepting the issue with my order. I'm also attaching the screenshots of my chat with the customer care guy.
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
