I mistakenly ordered food from Zomato via Rajwada restaurant. I talked to the delivery boy within 5 mins after ordering to cancel the order, he confidently said to me that your order will be cancelled. Later they cancelled my order stating you didn't respond and are not refunding ₹297 stating it as cancellation charge but it's nowhere written on the Zomato app. They took my money, didn't even delivery my order niether are they giving my refund.
They are saying we don't cancel any order if placed then how come my order was cancelled. They niether refunded my order nor they delivered my order. They are making there own rules. Firstly they didn't mention that there will be no refund for cancellations and didn't even bother to tell me .

    Hi. I joined the golf zomato as it was mentioned buy one get one free but did not mention that most of the restaurants in the normal zomato are not included the fact i discovered after i joined. So i want my money back as the offer was not as expected and was not clear.
    Also i tried to use the zomato gold in la terrasse gloria restaurant in dubai as it was on the zomato gold but the waiter told me the contract with zomato was over long time so i contacted the zomato gold on chat and explained what happened. They did not reply with clear message so i checked the application again and surprisingly that restaurant was put as not a zomato member now. I tried to chat with the zomato people again but no response. So these are 2 reasons to refund me.

      Finally found that zomato is here just for looting the consumers.
      Order number - [protected]
      I had placed an order from zomato and since i knew that the number registered on zomato is temporarily inactive, i called the delivery personal and informed him to call me on another number since the number registered is inactive, the person agreed and said will call on the other number as soon as he reach at my place, later i found that my order was rejected with reason that anyone was not present at the address mentioned and the delivery person was unable to reach us whereas i had placed another order at same time with the same i'd and the other person delivered it without fail and later they are not refunding my payment and are blaming me for not being responsible whereas i played my part by informing the delivery personal if the number change.
      Kindly look inti the matter consumer court.

      Dear Sir,

      I have placed an order of Rs.99 inclusive of Momos and lemon ice tea that was mistakenly placed while I was customizing my order hence I called the restaurant as well as the delivery person within 2 minutes to stop the preparation and cancelled the order thereto, even I have received call from zomato support for confirmation of my cancellation of order, even then it is reflecting as 'rejected' and my order payment is not refunded yet.

      PFA, of all the recordings of calls I made to cancel my order yesterday evening.

      I want my refund... Please do the needful.

      We would like to inform you that according to new policies of Zomato if the order gets cancelled because of the customer being unresponsive at the time of delivery, a cancellation charge equal to the order amount is charged from the user as the food was already prepared/dispatched.

      Are you all insane... I have sent you audio recordings as well for the evidence that I have stopped preparation of food... And instead I have received a call from zomato support to confirm that I have cancelled the order instantly without any delay to restaurant first to stop preparation and afterwards to delivery person to forward the information to your zomato support...
      Please tell me if this is the solution of not refunding of my amount then what is the use of my proactive effort of stop preparation of my order within 2 minutes to restaurant person and call the delivery guy to inform you guys...
      You guys can also confirm all the case with your restaurant partner BROWN BUCKS.

        My paytm cash 72. Rs is automatically paid to you without any food delivered to me. This is the number on which the cash is paid without any food delivered, the number is[protected] on 2018.11.4 and even i have proofs too.

        So please as soon as possible do it refund my paytm cash.

        The money should be refunded to[protected] as soon as possible or i will put a case on you i have full rights.

          I was trying to place an order online via netbanking on friday afternoon (05 nov 2018 near india gate) around 1:44pm. Transaction was successfull and amount was deducted but order not get placed. On zomato portal its not showing any order. My details are as follow - anil singh

          After amount deduction via netbanking i received this msg.

              Hi,
              I order (Order no -[protected]) from zomato service desk yesterday.
              The oder seems to be cancelled as they are saying my phone is not reachable mode.
              I don't think there is such a condition like this as i talk to the delivery boy few time ago and navigate him to my house.
              There is no call from zomato and i tried to contact him there is no individual number for this.
              So your service desk is saying there will be no refund as the food is already dispatched.
              If such rule is there so why they are not asking for alternative phone number, or why no notification is there that phone is not reachable.
              So i am paying for a food which is not delivered to me. So do you have any proof that my number is not reachable. If in this same situation i have not pay online for your food what will be the sum which will deduct. Just because i have already paid you can deduct the amount.
              This is the first time when i am using your app to get my food delivered. And you failed to prove yourself. So i will again use your service. This is how they treated your customer.

                Order was cancelled, zomato promised 7 days refund, yet not received even after one month. Now they say they cant refund money. I was told by vendor that the cake i ordered cant be sent as it was long distance and requested me to cancel order. So i cancelled my order. I spoke with online assistance, they told that i will get refund. But now they show their policy.

                  I placed a prepaid order from tossin pizza and sassy bawarchi on nov 6, 2018 through zomato app. Due to some unavoidable circumstances i couldn't receive the delivery guys' call and so they got back to their restaurant with my food. When i contacted them they said it was cancelled on zomato's behalf.
                  When i did contact zomato customer care they assured me that i would get my refund in my paytm wallet within 24 to 48 hours (See the attached screenshots). Now they are denying and not refunding the amount as promised.
                  Please help. This is fraud and unethical.

                  No resolution... Still no refund, as I didn't get my food what I ordered... No matter what is the reason if I didn't get what I paid for I should get my refund...

                      Refer to my order no.[protected] on fresh menu, malad west mumbai through zomato.

                      After placing my order, i received a call from zomato rider that the item is not deliverable at my location. Later i received a call from zomato customer care (‭+[protected]‬) telling that the address that i mentioned is out side their limits. However the same was not notified by zomato while accepting order and payment.

                      Also, the customer care executive was not willing to listen my part (That the location was automatically detected by zomato and not entered manually by me).

                      Later i came to know from the zomato app that they could not deliver since i was not available to collect the order. This is incorrect as i was monitoring the live tracking module and i could see that the rider didn’t even start from the restaurant for delivery.

                      Also the zomato app is showing that i won’t be getting a refund.

                      Requedt please resolve this issue.

                        I ordered from chayos through zomato on 7th nov 10:15 pm but didn't receive my order and unable to contact restaurant or zomato customer support for reporting this issue.

                        This order was someone unwell, even no one is responding in zomato chat service.

                        I am very dissatisfied with the customer service of zomato and want to escalate this to higher level

                          I have ordered special chicken biriyani (260 rupees) in Moghul's paradiez restaurant, sr nagar on[protected]. But the restaurant has delivered chicken curry to us. We have questioned the delivery boy but his anser was he was just a delivery boy and he doesn't know anything about the order.

                          Here the important thing is not about biriyani or chicken curry. I worried about only thing is time wasted on waiting for biriyani.. So I want to know my rights regarding this. Try to understand agony.

                            I placed an order for rs1496 for a lunch at tim's bristo, coimbatore through zomato. I received a call and also msg saying that the restaurant is unable to deliver the food at that time.. And was also told that the amount will be refunded as i have made an online payment. But after several attempts of chatting and mailing there is no response.. Very poor service

                            I ordered my food at around 8 p.m but dilvery boy didn't pic my call, I called him so many time at the last he pic my call and replied that my number was not reachable however he didn't do any call to me and now he want back without dilver my order..can you please look in to this matter urgently.
                            I ordered on last Thursday.. And the payment was successfull and the transaction got failed and they didn't refund my money

                              As per your customer care so called unprofessional way to deal with your customer, he informed me that they called and due to there was no any response we have canceled the food as well as we can not return money.

                              We order food through app because after order we can seat back and relax till food comes, and regards to address i am not staying in any village that you can reach to address.

                              If you are saying call is important then why we should use Zomato app and google map. Kindly hire a person who can use at least google map.

                              As I am the regular customer usually i don't get any calls after placing order that also you can check with my all previous order.
                              I am also surprise to see that I have ordered sweet box and I was requesting that I can collect this from my side as well if delivery boy don't want to come for delivery but customer care response is that order has been cancelled so no way for delivery and refund that what will happened with sweet box as I think it will not return to sweet shop so ultimately delivery boy will enjoy that sweet box for which I have paid amount and this is a clear cheating with customer as without any product delivery how you can charge amount from customer.

                              I hope you will understand and do the needful.

                                You can type and check on map "jyothi clique apartment" the address is so easy and any one can reach to my place, if your delivery boy can not reach to this address so it's your problem that you don't have good delivery boy.

                                If you are saying call is important then why we should use zomato app and google map. Kindly hire a person who can use at least google map.

                                My money has been deducted from my bank account but no orders received by the restaurant... And no refund processed.. Zomato support is not even replying to my messages.

                                  Zomato says that the address is not correct so we will not refund your money but my address is correct. They are trying to digest my money. If they not then delivery agent trying to digest my sweet (Burfi). So i get nothing and fully wasted my money & time on zomato. When i talked to costumer support they was humble but customer support also trying to fooling me. I was also contacted to [protected]@zomato as said by customer. Now i'm waiting for the replay.

                                    Im sriram teja with mail id: [protected]@gmail.com order no [protected], McD, Vijayawada paid online using Zomato on 06 nov 2018. the restaurant confirmed the order, they despatched the delivery executive but later they take the food back and cancelled it based on distance, or atleast thats the reason they gave. My complaint is regarding the time they gave to return my money? why should the customer be penalised like this for paying online?( GoI encourages digital payments on one side ). Zomato should reply why i shouldnt take this up with consumer forum of vijayawada. (motto of forum is customer service satisfaction, remember?)

                                    I had placed order through zomato. The money was deducted from my paytm account twice but the order was not placed. As per paytm customer care, the payment was success ful..when i sent chat message. The chat wait time showed 1min but even now they have not added replied.

                                      I had ordered food from motimahal at 12:40 pm from noida, but food is yet to be deliverd and its been like more than 3 hours, none of the staff meembers is behaving in proper way, neither they are providing any information, motimhala is saying they had not received any infor from zomato, from pat 2 hours zomato executives are saying that it will only take only n1 more mintues, neither they are agree to cancel the order, very pathetic anfd dissapointing offer now is given by zomato.

                                      I order empire box 15 2 qty and empire box 5 1 qty from empire but i got deliver by empire 2 boxes only. its a incomplte deliver and in empire box 15 they said chilly chicken and mutton varuval but i got only mutton varuval!

                                        Hello guys please be informed that the tomato guys used the leak the customer information and without any reason they are deducting the money from paytm. This is the second instance i faced where they deducted the balance from my paytm wallet.

                                        After a continous followup also they are not able to solve the equities.
