Hello team,
This mail highlights the complaint regarding the service provided by your team especially in the delivery. The delivery boy came to my place not sure and gave me a call, but due to some circumstances i was unable to pick his call.
So he himself took back the delivery without informing us. We waited for a long time after which we were left with no other option other than raising a complaint.
Moreover i order food from your restaurant very often as you can check the previous history, i am using zomato from nov 2016 and place multiple order in that period.
As per your customer care so called unprofessional way to deal with your customer, he informed me that they called and due to there was no any response we have canceled the food as well as we can not return money.
You can type and check on map "jyothi clique apartment" the address is so easy and any one can reach to my place, if your delivery boy can not reach to this address so it's your problem that you don't have good delivery boy.
We order food through app because after order we can seat back and relax till food comes, and regards to address i am not staying in any village that you can reach to address.
If you are saying call is important then why we should use zomato app and google map. Kindly hire a person who can use at least google map.
As i am the regular customer usually i don't get any calls after placing order that also you can check with my all previous order.
If this issue is not resolved then i will take this to social media and media.

Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have placed an order of Rs.99 inclusive of Momos and lemon ice tea that was mistakenly placed while I was customizing my order hence I called the restaurant as well as the delivery person within 2 minutes to stop the preparation and cancelled the order thereto, even I have received call from zomato support for confirmation of my cancellation of order, even then it is reflecting as 'rejected' and my order payment is not refunded yet.
PFA, of all the recordings of calls I made to cancel my order yesterday evening.
I want my refund... Please do the needful.

Thanks for writing to us.
We would like to inform you that according to new policies of Zomato if the order gets cancelled because of the customer being unresponsive at the time of delivery, a cancellation charge equal to the order amount is charged from the user as the food was already prepared/dispatched.

Are you all insane... I have sent you audio recordings as well for the evidence that I have stopped preparation of food... And instead I have received a call from zomato support to confirm that I have cancelled the order instantly without any delay to restaurant first to stop preparation and afterwards to delivery person to forward the information to your zomato support...
Please tell me if this is the solution of not refunding of my amount then what is the use of my proactive effort of stop preparation of my order within 2 minutes to restaurant person and call the delivery guy to inform you guys...
You guys can also confirm all the case with your restaurant partner BROWN BUCKS.
