I had ordered food from zomato and received an incomplete order for which i complained. I got 234 zomato credits instead of the refund in my source account. Later the next day i couldn't place any order as it was showing that my account had been blocked. I mailed zomato regarding this issue at least 15-20 times. Everytime i got the same response that it's due to some suspicious activity observed. My amount is still stuck in that account.

Please resolve this issue asap.

    I was extremely sick and hungry on 13.11.2018. As i was not able to go out for my breakfast i ordered my food through zomato. My order was placed and after a period of time it was shown to be 'delivered'. But my food wasnt delivered and when i tried to call the rider he did not pickup the call and using zomato chat i told my complain but it was very slow in response and there was no numbers to contact them. After a period of 1 hour, i again asked for the order to be delivered by another rider. But they failed to do so and they regretted their shameful action. Due to this, i was still very hungry and i wasnt been able to eat and take my prescribed tablets and this has caused me more stress both physically and mentally and still i am not been able to recover from this irresponsible behaviour of the company. So i want a quick refund of my money and want to ensure such actions does not take place in the near future.

    I have placed an order with online payment and then i cancel the order because of some cause and they called me and i said i want to cancel this so they said money will refund to tyour bank in few days but no refund till now. I want my moenyback as refund the order is not placed it was see in the pic

      Fist of all why the restaurant confirmed the order .You people are taking unnecessary charge while the restaurant has cancelled the order. And at last I have told to cancel because the delivery boy was taken maximum time to deliver.

      I have ordered from zomato and after 5 minutes they cancelled my order mentioning that there was an issue with my address, no call received from zomato regarding issue, suddenly it says my order has been cancelled and they did not initiated my refund yet reason being food was prepared.
      I still don't know what was the issue with my address

          Complaint against food delivered from kill no kalorie

          Time :5:12pm

          I had ordered-------from kill no kalorie. Hair was found from food order. Screenshot attached herewith.
          On msg assurance for refund was given. Screenshot of msg attached.
          Later i had received a msg that refund will not be given.

          Such unprofessional behavior from an food outlet is not acceptable.

          No precautions was taken for hygiene, quality of food, its was over fried, human hair was found. Even after complianing not even a proper apology was received from your end.

          Kindly refund the due amount. Or else i will make sure strict action will be taken against your outlet for unhealthy food and also against zomoto for promoting such outlets and misguiding customer.

            My account was blocked by zomato by giving a reason that i have done some suspicious activity or something. After asking alot the meaning of suspicious activity they said they blocked because restaurant told them to do so as i gave negative rating for their food, Now i don't understand if they provide bad food and zomato has the option to rate from 1 to 5 then why this kind of hipocrisy. They are not unblocking my account and i am also not able to open another account on my same phone they are blocking the second account too. I need my account unblocked.

              Order id - [protected], i placed order, paid in advance, person did not put good effort to deliver it, did not ring any bell, did not contact, cancelled the order, charged me full amount and went back with food, probably eat it himself.
              No one helped in customer support, its total scam here, big mistake buying from you.
              I am sure if it was not paid in advance they would try to deliver it but since they did not have to wait for payment, they just scammed me.

              No one helped, staff very very rude and unprofessional.

                Ordered food and only partial was delivered on time.. Rest half of the order was delivered after an hour because the restaurant guy did not handover the 2nd part of order to delivery person at first.

                I requested for refund.. And chat went for 2 to 3 hours and multiple chats with blunt copy past macros which sucks.. Finally refund was given to zomato credits which is useless as i will never use zomato again.

                I need refund to original payment method. They r like no can't be done.

                I asked for supervisor and associate said that also can't be done.

                  I bought zomato gold membership on 14th october, post that i checked my zomato app and it showed to buy the membership again deleted the app logged in to check still suggesting me to buy the membership. Called up the customer care support they told me to speak to the chat support, did the same as suggested. Didn't receive any solution. They said that i would be getting my refund in 5 to 7 working days till date i didn't receive my amount...

                  I have ordered food of worth 890 rs on 10th october from zomato. As per zomato when their delivery person came unfortunately i was in bathroom so i couldn't pick his phone so he left and then when i called back and ask for the support the zomato executive informed me that since i couldn't pick the phone so now the order can not be delivered and the cancellation charges are equal to my bill amount of worth 898. I have pleaded them to charge extra delivery charges but they have denied for food as well my money. When i called restaurant person he informed me that food is ready but since zomato rejected the order he can't deliver food bcoz then zomato will not pay the food charges to him. I have never experienced such online fraud from any food suppliers. So i need help in this regard

                    I got wrong products owner told me that is zomato who uploaded attractive photos with naan and i got. Local. Food with rotis, a big scam found dont buy food from zomato you will get onion insteaf of cheese
                    Zomato credited 25rs instead of 100rs actual product cost seems 50rs so they still earned by posting wrong pictures and i am not satisfied at all

                      On[protected], i placed an order with burger singh using zomato for a burger and a lemon ice tea.

                      When i received my order, one item was missing. I called the delivery personnel and he told me that he never got the ice tea from the restaurant which shows that the riders don't check the order without taking it. I then placed a complaint with zomato and found the customer service to be unhelpful. They couldn't even contact the restaurant and in the end, i had to call them myself only to find that the rider did take the ice tea but never delivered it. When i brought up this issue with the customer care, they didn't do anything about it and i got the usual "we did everything we could" line. And this is the second time this week that something like this has happened. The riders are careless and the customer care doesn't help.

                          I had ordered food on zomato with order number-[protected]

                          But this order was mistakenly placed at wrong address, as soon as it was accepted i suddenly called the restaurant to not prepare the order because it was accepted and so they told me that they will not prepared it,
                          As the mentioned address in the order was far around 25-30km from my current address,
                          After that also i had placed another order at my current address because i was hungry.
                          But earlier order was then cancelled and zomato is saying that charges that have cut is the order amount.

                          How can zomato deduct whole amount as food was also not prepared and when my that order declined i was shocked after seeing reason,

                          In reason it was mentioned that no one was there to take order and my phone was not reachable but when i cancelled i had a talk with zomato customer care then how order can go for delivery and on the top of it, i am living in urban area and also its capital of gujarat and i was constantly using my phone then how my phone was not reachable.

                          I request zomato to solve my issue and initiate my refund.

                            On 9th of november 2018, i visited soul curry restaurant at powai for lunch. I had checked on the zomato app if the same was listed on the app for using my zomato gold membership. When we visited the restaurant i opened my zomato app and unlocked the visit id for the said restaurant. However when i showed the same to the restaurant before placing my order, the person at restaurant said that they don't accept the zomato gold membership. I decided to continue with order and at the same time made contact with the zomato customer help desk to get issue addressed. Within few minutes i got a call back from zomato for my complaint on which they assured they will check with the restaurant immediately. However they failed to do so and later informed me that they have now delisted the said restaurant from gold membership benefits. I had face embarrassing situation in front of friends. We completed our meal and left the place. Unsatisfied with pathetic service of zomato for failing to give the benefits of gold membership i asked for reimbursement. To this they say that they don't have any arrangements for. Making any kind of monetary compensation.
                            Zomato is luring people under the name of gold membership benefits making profits.
                            I wish discontinue my gold membership and want my reimbursement of the money i have paid to get the same

                              fake review on zomato by food chain mumbai

                              Recently i have seen a trend of fake reviews on zomato specially with these people who call themselves to be food bloggers.

                              I was planning to visit plum by bent chair the other day with friends and stumbled across this review which goes by the handle @foodchainmumbai, it had given 5 stars and pictures of professional level quality.

                              I decided to check the profile out because it caught my eye where the bio lead...

                              I ordered food from anandam restaurant, gachibowli, hyderabad using zomato app and the bill amount was deducted from my account. However, nobody delivered the order to me. Then they cancelled my order. After inquiring i was told by zomato that they tried to contact me but couldn't reach. But i didn't receive any calls from neither the delivery boy nor anyone from zomato. My phone was completely active but i didn't receive a single call from zomato. I didn't get my money back and neither did i get the ordered food.
                              This has been happening frequently now a days from zomato. So am logging this complaint so that people will be aware of the cheat and no one else will get cheated like me.

                                We were sent no veg food instead of veg food we placed order for and my husband has eaten this nonveg food and this is not a small issue now and apologize is not going to help now. It's a big mistake and not something solves with apologies as we pay and place order with faith to get a good quality food and food we have asked for and not something you want send us. Do you understand what it's like to eat nonveg for veg person.
