I had made an order from shree rathnam in the morning. But the after waiting for around 30 mins, order was cancelled.

On contacting the restaurant i was told order has been despatched.

I tried contacting the tomato helpline but they were not very responsive and neither did they were able to give contact details of delivery boy nor they were arranged for delivery of food.
In zomato chat, we were told delivery boy tried calling on phone and left without delivery.???
I mean is this for real?
What is the purpose of adress if your delivery boy is not ready to visit the address??
Neither zomoto nor restaurant is responsible but i have been charged in thousands
I have been embarrassed in front of my family n guests due to your poor service and moreover i have been charged for your poor service.
Where is it written that i m unable to contact over phone order won't be delivered

I have been ordering since ages but this is my worst experience ever

Kindly arrange refund at the earliest or i will have to move to consumer forum.

    I ordered black forest cake from cakeman, kalyani nagar, pune. The order deducted from my bank account and the order was rejected with no intimation or email and no refunds given.

    Kindly refund the money since this order was rejected due to no fault of mine. Zomato has deducted from bank account and rejected the order. This is a means o[censored]nfair trade practices followed in india due to weak consumer court.

      I had place order for a pizza from mojo, after making the payment i received a call from mojo saying they are unable to deliver and the payment will be refunded after 72 hours. But after 72 hour when i contacted zomato they said its late to process the payment and they cannot refund. Inspite of saying its vendor rejection they are not at all ready to hear. Please kindly take action, they purposly rejecting the order to steal the money.

        Hi i have ordered food frm zomoto today 11.40 without my concern they have cancel my order sating that my number was not reachble i have order food for somone they not well more over u people are saying i will not the refund this is not fair i have orderd seceral time useing this option this is not the right thing u r dng for custmer u pll are not resoponding properly if i dnt get the refund i ll take this isuues for consumer court this my humble requsting yout refund my amount lls do the needfull i ll not use zomoto going forward

          Hi team,

          We need an urgent resolution to our concern that neither our order (Order number - [protected]) is delivered nor zomato customer care is initiating refund.

          When i tracked the order the delivery guy was moving towards sultanpur (Wrong way). We also did not received any call from zomato or delivery boy and in the end order was declined.

          We are highly disappointed by such customer service. We need refund asap as well as compensation for this case.

          Looking forward for strict actions.

            On 2nd dec 2018 at 9.05 pm i did paymentof rs 280 for an order through the zomato app.the money was debited from my bank account but no order was confirmed or placed no order so no order id

            after that i placed an another order of rs 190 at 10.23pm but this time i chose cash on delivery and the order was delivered

            but zomato still has to refund me the 280 rs
            i tried to contact them through mail and they sent me 2 follow up emails asking for my mobile number but they did not take any action and then never replied back to my mail
            i'm attaching the screen shots of transaction statement and the order history
            please help me with this matter

              Had bad experience in zomato, where they refunded my money for stale food & blocked my account. After multiple mails also they are not responding, please unblock my account asap as i want to order more.                 Today i ordered 3 pizza from zomato by using debit card. Payment was deducted from my account bt there is no pizza delivered to me. I want refund plz... This is not done. By doing these type of acts zomato is losing customer's belief.
                I have ordered some food few says ago from zomato and make online payment for it but zomato was Neither deliever my order nor refund money...😡 please refund my money immediately form zomato

                  They provided me half of the food and refund amount of missing items.
                  When i asked then to replace or refund completely they disconnect the chat.
                  And the restaurant also stopped delivering food.
                  I had to face so much inconvenience. They misbehaved by disconnecting the call.
                  Also they do not provide customer care phone no. They asked customer to chat only.

                  But in 2nd time. They are charging more.
                  Amount debited but not order
                  I ordered online food from Zomato. The money was deducted but order was not placed and I queried to management from there app but they said replace order but what of that money I paid previously, the management is not further responding to my query.

                  Sir this is dayalan who ordered food on zomato .the food was not delivered but it got deducted from my pay tm acct .trn ref no [protected]. on nov 5th. with amount 185. hence settle this sooner before i move to consumer court . we have screenshots proof as well. we want to continue without any hiccups hence please settle this at the earliest.

                    Hi today i have faced one bad situation with zomato customer support, without my authorization amount got deducted from my wallet and order got placed. Even i have tried to cancel my order but it's not allowed me to cancel. Within seconds i have contacted customer support to cancel my order it has placed wrongly. I don't want the order plz cancel the order. They have informed like they can't cancel the order since it's already placed.

                    My humble request may i know the reason how amount will deduct from my account without my authorization once i click on place order (This order i didn't placed wantedly - it got placed unknowingly).

                    Even i have asked support team please cancel this order just a second back i placed this order.
                    They are not supported and i said them i will complaint this they said proceed. Please find the screen shot attached for chat conversation.
                    Even i got angry for their support.

                    Plz consider this as my humble request and complaint and ask them to keep authorization from the customers before payment process otherwise other customer also face this kind issues.

                    And also help me to refund back from the app since it's zomato support issue.

                    I availed the zomato gold membership on a different email which was created by one of your representatives and as the email was not created by me i was unable to login once I was logged out so I contacted Zomato on which they asked me to email my id documents which i did but even after sending the email. They just wasted my time.

                      I have been a loyal customer to zomato for years and usually place multiple orders in a day. Some of them got cancelled for various reasons and their system detected it as a suspicious behaviour, i don't know why. And my account got blocked from then and couldn't place orders. Please reactive my account so that i can place my orders as usual.

But the pizza was very bad and topping was overcooked.I did not enjoyed it at all.I am upset with the kind of service. I had payed money for this and it is just wasted. I deserve something to compensate for this. Hoping for a good response from you people... thanks!!
                      I placed a order on Zomato and i used the promocode ZPAY100 and I was supposed to get 100% cashback upto rs.100 and my total order amount was around Rs.117 so i should get a cashback of Rs.100 if i pay through paytm and i made the payment through paytm but still i did not get the cashback.
                      Transaction for INR|89.46 to IBIBO WEB PVT LTD has been completed successfully with reference id 97542027.

                      Order is not place but amount is debited in my account please refund the money

                        Dear sir/madam,

                        On 1st of december 2018 at 12:55 hours, i tried to place online food order via zomato's food ordering app. After directing to payment page, i paid an amount of rs.125 but due to some error the order didn't get placed and my money was debited from the bank. No trace of order placed was seen on the app.

                        Later i had to place another order to get food for which i received the service.

                        I wrote an email via zomato's website regarding the 1st order placed and received an acknowledgement in my email. But no reply post that. Followed up twice to get rs.125 refunded.

                        I'm attaching the transaction screenshot i received after my amount got deducted from bank.

                        Kindly provide me resolution.

                            An order was placed from zomato with order number [protected].
                            However the address stated in address bar was correct but it was not correctly being displayed on map. The valet assigned was contacted as soon order was placed. But he said that he would cancel and then amount would refund

                            After half an hour representative called explaining his incovinience to deliver and promised that refund would be credited and even suitable compensation would be given.
                            However chat support person denied of refund because the order was cancelled late and food would be wasted now. They even didnt refund and neither did they deliver.
                            Delivery valet used inappropriate words while talking. They delayed purposely so they could charge fees

                              I ordered food on 25th november through zomato and after 30-40 min i received a notification that the restaurant cancelled my order. And then when i contacted zomato they said the refund amount is initiated and will reflect soon. But after a week when asked for refund amount they are giving exuses that they were not able to contact me at the day of order and we cannot refund the amount.

                                Ok so that is what I see over here.I have faced enough from your side.Now I have to do something, last time also I was delivered stale noodles with the promise that issue will be resolved but I wont take it this time.I cant change my religion nor my beliefs because of this company's foolishness, I know being an employee you are very loyal to your company and to such an extent that you want to lose a faithful customer, I am ordering food to delhi kolkata and profiting zomato, I have even bought zomato gold and treat.Even after being such an important customer if I face such consequences then it is very unfortunate, I know you can easily place a refund but I dont understand why aren't u doing soI earnestly request you to take an immediate decision because I cant waste my time nor my money.This has happened for the second time and I know this time also no action will be taken.There is no use of telling you about consumer forum because you all take things very lightly.Unfortunately if I dont receive my refund now I will be forced to take some actions.

                                  Well i order food through this app and instead of getting my food i get error order rejected and when i enquire about the refund i am told that i was at fault so i will not be refunded.
                                  Well as far i can see my fault was that i used this app.
                                  Here are some screen shots that show that my order was cancelled prematurely due to which i have to pay for the food i didnt ate.
                                  Not only my time was wasted waiting for food it is still being wasted talking to zomato people on email support who are not being helpful.

                                  i can understand if food was prepared and it can be charged as it cannot be returned but they should have waited atleast for 45 minutes to cancel my order as it was expected 45 minutes to deliver . and a phone call should be made before cancelling which was not made too

                                    Without my notice zomato delivery agent has cancelled my order stating am unresponsive/not reachable at the time of delivery. But i haven't received the call the agent. After placing the order and making the payment no one would be wanted to loose their amount. I dropped a mail about the issue and told them i do not want the refund just replace the same order. But, they replied saying as per our new cancellation policy; cancellation charges equal to the order value have been levied and we won't be able to waive off the charges. This is ridiculous, they doesn't want to give refund and doesn't want to send the order back too.

Actually i must have received the agent details message once he picked up the order, but i received the msg after cancellation. I dont want the refund send me the same order back to me that's enough.

                                      I have placed an order on 16/11/2018 from chauhan 35, the item i have received was too salty complained to them in 15 minutes and now for last 2 weeks, i am getting answer from customer service the concern has been forward concerned deptt and they will contact you, and most surprisingly they don't have any turn around time

                                        I tried placing an order thru zomato today. When i made the payment it return back to the previous page saying "an error has occurred. Try again" and i tried for 5 more times, same thing happened. So totally 6 times amount got deducted and my order was not placed. I tried calling customer care +[protected] but no response. I got fed up waiting for the call to get connected for almost 2 hourse. Really frustrated with the service
