This is regarding my order [protected] for rs.315 which i had to cancel, i talked to one of your agents on zomato chat and he told me "we regret for this, the order was declined as your number was not reachable. Since the food was already prepared/dispatched, cancellation charge equal to order amount will be levied.".

Now when i called zomato customer care number to get my order cancelled the agent told me that zomato orders couldn't be cancelled, i said okay and finished the call. After that i got a call from zomato customer care that my order could be cancelled, i said okay cancel my order. I was not told that my order wouldn't be refunded and my phone was reachable at all time. Please refund my order as soon as possible

    So i placed an order for a veg pasta from coffee cup hyderabad on 11th october at 8:44, order number is [protected]. I received the order on time but instead of veg i received non-veg pasta. I have contacted the customer service thrice till now and always got no response after sharing the problem. The messages usually said give us a moment and never replied.

    Receiving a non-veg pasta was already a nightmare, i am a vegetarian and the trauma of eating non-veg is still not leaving me even after 9 days. Thank god, i realized it was non-veg before i ate it. But added to this trauma is the customer service experience. Zomato should have minimum ethics to reply to my query. I am very much disturbed with such behaviour and worst experience.

      I had ordered 4 times from zomato in past 1 month and each time was refused to deliver the food by delivery boy.
      I felt deeply hurt as the same order has been delivered to us by swiggy.
      Each time the customer care gives false hope to serve better and deliver the order next time, which is not fulfilled yet.
      Customer care give the lame excuse that my address is out of delivery area. If that is the case why is it not shown when i am placing the order.

      Previously i had placed an order from a restaurant bharath coffee house and i had received it. Later on when i had placed a second order same week, from the same restaurant, the zomato delivery boy refused to deliver the order.

      We had ordered from zomato when we had guests and the last minute refusal by your delivery boy had left our guests starving. Thankfully we have swiggy who fulfill all the orders and never disappoint us like you delivery boys. Whatever the distance they serve the customers better with speedy delivery & with polite and courteous behavior.

      If zomato is at mercy of the delivery boys, swiggy will be the market leader and you guys can go packing. Please discuss with your delivery boys (Your boss) and update the app whether a delivery can be made for a location before accepting the order, so that customers will not be disappointed.

        didn't get the refund amount from zomato

        I had placed an order in zomato for rs 205 on[protected] from hotel metro palace, kakkanad kochi. I paid amount using netbanking. Unfortunately the hotel rejected the order. Order number [protected]. And i got a message that the amount will be refunded within 2-7 days. But i didnt get the refunded amount till now. I called the zomato general manager arun for telling my complaint, but he is not ready to hear ma complaint. Is that the value...

        Again the same done on
        29th sep again 120/- was deducted
        I didn't got any opt msg

          Yesterday (19.10.18) i was order 500g chikki, peanut salted 500g and spcial gazak 250g amt. Of above order rs. 385/=+ rs10/= tip amt. Total rs. 395/= payment by paytm above order declined but rs. 395/= not credited in my paytm wallet

          Kindly look in tothis and refund my above amt. Asap

          when i ask zomato customer care, they they cancel the order as per policy. My money is deduced and i didn't receive the food. Why zomato customer care is cancelled my order and and told to me order cancel by merchant and not returning my money. It is my worst experience by zomato. Please review my complain and refund my money...

            The delivery boy wasn't able to contact me and he returned back and i called his number and it wasn't going thru and it was an ivr to zomato merchant line. And contacted chat support (Vivek singh) they said that delivery guys tried to reach me and he wasn't able to do so so they cancelled it.
            I was waiting for more than 1 hour and now they are saying that they cannot refund my money as it was my mistake that delivery guy was no able to contact me.

              I had a prepaid order from zomato [protected]. I was given estimated delivery time of 12:25 pm. At around 12:50 pm i realised there was a miss call from delivery boy pankanj parmar. I called back and requested to deliver my order and he refused. The customer support said he was new in my locality and couldnt find my address and since i didnt pick up the phome he cancelled. The order status shows i was unavaillable at my address so the order went back. Now i neither had my order nor refund. I had prepaid it and provided a well detailed exact address of my location with a popular landmark of 650 the global kitchen hotel and still the fellow couldnt find it!! And within half an hour i am calling back and he says order is cancellee. So what did he do with my food. And why shouldnt i get refund when i havent cancelled my order and there is no mistake from my part

                The delivery boy wasnt able to contact me aand he returned back and i called his number and it wasnt going thru and it was an ivr to zomato merchant line. And i contacted phone and chat support they said order will be cancelled and balance will be refunded within 24 hour, then after a week when i contacted chat support i was informed to contact the email team and they havent replied after my first email and i habe sent so many follow up emails aand no response for that. Now zomato app shows that your order declined by restaurant as your number was unreachable we can not process your refund as food was prepared by restaurant. After this event i am totally disappointed with zomato please help.

                  Billing issue... I placed my 1st ordered today and applied the code new50 through which i was getting a discount of rs 140 but at the time of payment full amount of rs 300 was deducted.
                  Delayed order... The order was supposed to deliver at 11:14a. M but it was delivered at 11:54 a. M.
                  Incomplete order... I told him to bring 2 candles with the cake but he didn't bring. Even happy birthday was not mentioned on the cake.
                  I told him to arrive at gate no 1 but he was at gate no 2
                  Very disappointed with zomato delivery... Want a compensation

I have ordered from little china also. But the food quality of shree balaji bhojnalya is very poor. Kadai paneer vegetable is very poor quality and rotis are also very poor quality. We vomits after having food. We will face a lot of problem after having this food.

                      Hi,
                      This is regarding the order i've placed on zomato and the first time the delivery guy came after an hour and after reaching the zomato customer service they told my issue would be resolved but no one responded it's been 3 weeks now and now i placed another order from just shawarma and the quality was bad i have sent the pictures it's been 10 5 days and have not got a single response. When ever i ask they tell me to wait and that is all that i receive from the service centre. They have even stopped replying to my messages.

                        I have ordered an item of rs 172 on 15/10/2018. Then, i have called to this company and request about cancellation within 2 minute. But he has said that no any order found against you. After 5 minutes i have redail the same number and requested, then he said that process are started against your order and i m can't cancel this. After third request, i have recieved a call from a number[protected] about cancellation. And confirm the cancel. I satisfied that he will be refund the same amount to my paytm wallet. But, i not received any refund.

                          I ordered some food from arsalan kolkata yesterday through zomato around 1:15 pm. They cancelled the order due to lack of delivery boys at 2:30pm. I had guests that time and their denial of service so late actually landed me in situation of humiliation and faceloss. I paid for the order through online, the money is not yet refunded to my bank account and also no compensation amount added as discussed over call.

                          Zomato is providing poor service but consumer forum seems worse. You can't take off your responsibility just by notifying the service provider. this does not solve someone's problem.
                          what is the action Consumer forum is taking on behalf of me against Zomato.

                            I am kishore, i ordered food on 19/10/2018 after noon around 12:45pm. I used my address as current location in zomato app. Order is completed and deducted amount 454.15 from my paytm. After 15 mins. Delivery boy[[protected]] called me and refused deliver my food. He conferenced to another number [[protected]]. Overall the discussion is cancelled my order from zomato side and promised me will refund amount. They rejected my order from restaurent and updated status like not able to reach my phone number unable to refund amount.

                            I communicated customer support chat, they said you wont get refund money as per status. I asked for voice support they said zomato neither have voice support or any kind of support.

                            I called [[protected]] number more than 50 times no response. I called couple of times delivery boy[[protected]], he said will credit amount from zomato, i am only delivery boy.

                            I asked delivery boy to provide customer care number, he said we dont have customer care number. [lol if they dont have company numbers how delivery boys are getting salary or commission, how they are wearing company logo] it seems delivery boy wantedly avoiding to provide customer care number.

                            If the amount is not refunding why they are cancelled my order, why delivery boy refused to deliver if app took order.

                            After pathetic service and support from zomato, i concluded below points.
                            1. Zomato doesnt have any kind of voice support.

                            2. There is no order id or number shows in app.

                            3. Application is not at all accureate seems confirming order and cancel/reject after payment.

                            4. They promised will get refund but not yet.

                            5. Getting scare to order next time.

                            I believe company is loosing customers rapidly due to pathetic service.
                            Kindly look into my issue and resolve it.

                              Hi my name is abhishek bhardwaj. I made a ordered from zomato app. Then i gave my address information just after the order was placed in the chat. I told the delivery boy also about my address. But they cancelled my order. And now i am trying to chat with customer care and they are saying that you gave wrong address or were not present there. I gave them correct address and i was present. The delivery boy didnt came. And i havent received my money back. Please refund me the amount of rs 88

                                This was the 5th time, i faced an issue with delivery from zomato. I always gave chance in the past being a reasonable human. I ordered a chhole puri on 20 october 2018 at 3:52 am. I was aware that it would deliver around 4:42 am. I accepted that because i could wait for that amount of time. I waited patiently till 4:55 am and called up the restaurant to know the status. Owner said the order has been out for delivery though i received the notification about it at 4:25 am. This was night time and no traffic could have bothered but i'm a reasonable human and accepted to wait till 5 am. No one turned up. I decided to chat with customer service and the representative gave me the no of delivery guy. I had to call him twice to get hold of him. He said that there was no order for chhole puri and he delivered dal makhani to some other guy on the same building i live. I called up the restaurant person and he checked with the delivery guy and started saying that they delivered my order. I said how because i'm the person who didn't receive it. He said that the order was also paid in cash though i already made an online payment. This was really making me mad. I cleared things with him and understood. He found that the other person who received my order lives on the same building but with a different name. So the delivery guy was so incompetent that he didn't even care to check with the person and try to match his name with the order receipt and ended up delivering my order with someone. He didnt even call me before to deliver my order. The other person who received my order and also his own order, ate everything and went off. I was left without any food. The restaurant owner was laughing over the call. Is it a joke? The order which i could have received in 40 minutes and i don't have it yet while i'm typing. Disgusting service!!

                                I faced a pathetic experience with zomato delivery boy for delivering food. In app shows current location but delivery boy is refused to delivery and cancelled my order from zomato end and saying that you wont get refund.

                                It seems Zomato is a cheating company for our hard earned money and looting our money. It seems this is one way of earning money in zomato.

                                Service is very very BAD in Zomato for below reasons.
                                No Voice support in zomato.
                                GPS, Live tracking, current location shows different from your current location.
                                There is no Order ID or number if you want to raise any complaints.
                                orders will take irrespective of your location and delivery boy refused to delivery and zomatio wont refund your money. This is a kind of zomato earning money. we wont get solution for our problems.

                                I suggest SWIGGY is 1000% best compare to Zomato.
                                Swiggy has customer voice support, chat support, accurate tracking and locations.

                                I suspects readers will understand what Zomato is doing for earning money.

                                  I want to share my zomato delivery experience with you all here.

                                  I have been using zomato food delivery app for a long time now and from last few weeks zomato delivery guys are getting rude for no reason and yelling on customer and calling them "yaaro"

                                  I have recently ordered lunch from 555 restaurant with the order # [protected] and the delivery guy "syed" was assigend for the delivery, he reached my home (Cctv footage link below) and didn't delivery the food as you can see in the cctv footage every clearly - he has taken the food back for no reason at all, maybe he was hungry.

                                  I complaint on zomato chat support and someone from zomato customer care (Rahul) called me and said "sir delivery guy is on the online, i asked delivery guy where is my order? And his reply was"dedeya na yaaro kya phir se dena tumhareku do do order dena kya"and then rahul apologies and gave me a refund on my request.

                                  Now if you see the cctv footage, they delivery guy 'syed" has taken the food back without delivering and he was shouting on me saying "dedeya na yaaro kya phir se dena tumhareku do do order dena kya"

                                  I've stopped using zomato now and i see swiggy delivery guys are much more professional than zomato.

                                    I amit suri i placed my food order having order no [protected] & at the time of giving order zomato delivery service was closed and they have taken as self collection of an order but when i visited the restaurant they denied to give the order as delivery boy has not come i send mag to zomato as there is not helpline number mentioned but they have cancelled my order and i paid 500rs to restaurant owner for the same order which i ordered it for 337rs and also got an harrsement of waiting there for an hour

                                      I ordered from dominos pizza in sec 15, chandigarh. The order was accepted and i made the online. Payment of 607 rupees. Later dominos cancelled the order saying that my address was out of their delivery coverage area. I ordered on 12 october and the message from zomato said that the amount would be refunded in 6-7 working days. Today is the sixth day and my money has not been refunded. Iam extremely disappointed at the lethargic service of zomato.
