I want to share my zomato delivery experience with you all here.

I have been using zomato food delivery app for a long time now and from last few weeks zomato delivery guys are getting rude for no reason and yelling on customer and calling them "yaaro"

I have recently ordered lunch from 555 restaurant with the order # [protected] and the delivery guy "syed" was assigend for the delivery, he reached my home (Cctv footage link below) and didn't delivery the food as you can see in the cctv footage every clearly - he has taken the food back for no reason at all, maybe he was hungry.

I complaint on zomato chat support and someone from zomato customer care (Rahul) called me and said "sir delivery guy is on the online, i asked delivery guy where is my order? And his reply was"dedeya na yaaro kya phir se dena tumhareku do do order dena kya"and then rahul apologies and gave me a refund on my request.

Now if you see the cctv footage, they delivery guy 'syed" has taken the food back without delivering and he was shouting on me saying "dedeya na yaaro kya phir se dena tumhareku do do order dena kya"

I've stopped using zomato now and i see swiggy delivery guys are much more professional than zomato.

I know zomato will not even take any action on this because they just dont care about their customers. But i wanted to tell everyone and share the experience.

    I amit suri i placed my food order having order no [protected] & at the time of giving order zomato delivery service was closed and they have taken as self collection of an order but when i visited the restaurant they denied to give the order as delivery boy has not come i send mag to zomato as there is not helpline number mentioned but they have cancelled my order and i paid 500rs to restaurant owner for the same order which i ordered it for 337rs and also got an harrsement of waiting there for an hour

      I ordered from dominos pizza in sec 15, chandigarh. The order was accepted and i made the online. Payment of 607 rupees. Later dominos cancelled the order saying that my address was out of their delivery coverage area. I ordered on 12 october and the message from zomato said that the amount would be refunded in 6-7 working days. Today is the sixth day and my money has not been refunded. Iam extremely disappointed at the lethargic service of zomato.

        I had ordered icecream from zomato but it was missing one icecream cone and deliver person told to talk to zomato or vadilal about it. And he just went. I want a refund to this or else deliver the incomplete order. Therr customer service is slow. They dont have toll free number. Even vadilal outlet didn't have there own number.           This is to bring in your kind consideration that that i have order dahi kabab and chicken.
          Inspite of clear instructions mentioned for cooking, the taste is pathetic and chicken is smelling rotten, dahi kabab is tasteless. Dahi stuffed was sour.
          When i turned for customer care, i received a very unsatisfactory response.
          I am here with attaching the screenshots
          I want my money refunded, and action to be taken against concerned.
          I am writing the same mail to consumer forum.

            The delivery person was misbehaving with used disrespectful words. When he called for the first time to ask location. Told his navigator is not working.. There is abnormal crowd at our location. Which is not true, and at the same time he told "but i will go to any extent madam for u only". I told u r doing ur work not a favour on me. He was supposed to deliver the item at 8.11 p. M. Still he has not reached.. Second time he called and told me he is near by but need direction. I gave nl. Further i called him he told he is another location.. As he has other orders. But he confirmed me an hour ago that he is coming to my location only. I[censored] have recording option please listen to that.

              I wanted to cancel my order, i spoke to zomato staff, he accepted to refund, as i gad already payed through paytm.
              He said that the "refund was successfully initiated". And i will get my money back withun 48hrs.
              After these 48hrs the actual story begins...

              Tell me guys. If you say that you've already initiated the refund then why after few days you say that it was miscommunication and i won't be given any refund.
              Now when i again spoke to them, they were like, sorry we cannot initiate the refund
              After wasting 3hrs speaking to zomato support, they told me that the refund was generated and, also gave me refund initiation id, and told me that paytm was at fault, as zomato has successfully refunded, then i spent the other half of my day figuring out the issue with paytm.
              Paytm finally said that, rest assured we didn't receive any money from zomato, whenever we receive it we will credit it to your a/c.
              Now a few hrs before it was my sleep time, i again tried asking the zomato support about what were they up to. Now they said that, whatever they said before, they termed it as "miscommunication" and the order which was canceled would not be refunded, ever. Now after that even i ask for a refund the standard answer the have is "sorry but we can't refund you your money"

                I had ordered on 17 oct and the worst service provider cancelled my order twice and after 2 hours called me that the order is there for delivery where to deliver. I had also received message that the order is cancelled coz there is no one to deliver. Really??? And then charged me the whole amount. Customer service said they cannot help screenshots sent to the zomato care but doesn’t seemed to care. I also took gold membership and regret of doing since i got betrayed the first time. Customer care writes to me that sorry for i convinience, sorry for iur mistake and we will take care next time when i asked it was your mistake why should i pay for the same, they said they cannot do nothing, i was shocked. Please use other service providers and avoid zomato, they are cheaters, liars and thugs and dont care for their customers.

                  I have reported a order cancellation issue in regards to my order # [protected] which i placed on 11th oct at 9:31. Firstly my order was delayed by 20 minutes and then i got a message on zomato app saying my order was cancelled as i didin't answer the call from delivery boy, which is not true.. When i tried to reach out to chat support to enquire, i was asked to send a email to [protected]@zomato, i sent an email explaining the scenario, and followed up couple of times, but this ignorant team haven't responded yet.

                    I ordered from fasoos outlet on zomato on 2nd oct 2018. The order was not delievered to me. I got a call from fasoos 15-20mins after placing my order saying they cannot deliver in my area (Even though it is 20-25 mins walkable distance from my home) and thus the order will be cancelled and i will be refunded. Pls. Check the attached screenshots for the whole issue.

                      Today i have ordered a pizza through zomato in domino's after confirming and deduction from my paytm account domino's called me and said that they don't deliver in my address so they are cancelling the order. According to that they have sent me an sms saying that my order is cancelled but in my zomato app it was not showing as cancelled. So i contacted with support system of zomato they said to wait for 72 hours it will be updated. After 2 hours it shows that the order is delivered. I have also contacted paytm support team. They said that the transaction was successfull so without any confirmation from zomato they couldn't do anything. I want my my 215 ruppeess back.

                        I had place an order from a restaurant called panninaro on the zomato order app. My order was not delivered even after 30 minutes passed the expected delivery time. I called the number provided in the app for the restaurant and it was of the wrong outlet. Then, i tried contacting zomato chat support for unquiet about my order and i got ignore. They did not respond at all.

                          I was mistakenly booked meal without applying promo code new50 so i asked the delivery boy to cancel the order he said that please ask in chat after chat i received a call from custmor service center for cancellation they said order will be cancelled and balance will be refunded within 24 hour now zomato app shows that your order declined by restaurant as your number was unreachable we can not process your refund as food was prepared by restaurant. After this event i am totally disappointed with zomato please help

                            I had placed an order today at 1:30 from empire restaurant. The delivery executive called and asked me to cancel the order. I contacted customer care and they also dint respond appropriately. Then it was showing as order is delivered without it actually being delivered. The customer care kept telling that u will get order by 2:30. I have waited for 1.5 hours and haven't received my order, not received my refund.

                              I have ordered food in zomato, after sometime they marked it as delivered in status without delivering to me. I have tried to chat with them in that app, but no proper response in chat, i requested them to initiate my refund, but no response on that, so i am raising this complaint against this issue. Please help in getting my money back,
                              I spend 2 hours time in waiting for their response, but finally thet closed my conversation

                              I have visited the Zomato website to see whether the promo code is available or not, but it wad ordered with out logging in to the website and then i tried to cancel the order but there was no such option in the website and i called to the Zomato support and they said to call the resturant, but they were also not cancelling the order.

                                  Hi team,

                                  Kindly let me know when you will unblock my zomato gold account since i've paid for it and i'd like to use it while dining out which is the sole purpose to have invested in it? Kindly review the chat support before blocking and by adding credits doesnt solve the issues we are facing with the quality of food. Let the user know why the services have been disabled. Inspite of writing to you regularly you'll have failed to resolve the issue. It's been 3 days. No response.

                                    Wanted to bring to your notice the pathetic service delivery from Zomato. I had ordered a bulk order of Pizza from 1441 Pizzeria at 12:40 PM wherein the delivery time stated as 1:18 PM. The Pizza came a 2 PM delayed by 40 mins.

                                    On top of it the non- veg pizza was messed up by the delivery boy ( Sanjay Singh - [protected]) and made a short delivery of 2 starters, came without a bill. He too saw everything and said you can call cust support. I paid extra and did not get the whole delivery. Cheaters.

                                    I tried my level best to make Zomato guys understand the pathetic service received. Spoke to Preety, Laksh - twice, Deepak - Twice and the Supervisor Abhishek has no time to call back and speak to the customer.

                                    Imagine the online business you guys run...beggars earn money the legal way but you guys take customers money for granted and earn the illegal way. Stop cheating the customers. Invest money in training and improving customer service rather then fooling people through advertising and spending damm crores for it...

                                      I ordered food from zomato and Indo the online payment via.paytm but it is not successful and the money is get deducted from my account and I not get the money refund my total balance deducted is 296rs. So please refund me my balance.How many day it will takes to refund the balance. Please refund me fastly and I like to tell you that yours service is worst.

                                        I have placed an order with zomato on 16 oct 2018 in the night. Order was delivered in the afternoon n i placed one more order in the night which was not delivered stating address issue n the order is rejected n dint refund my money n in turn teeming they can't refund. Moreover provided me incorrect number of the delivery person. I need my refund back. Else provide proper justification.
