I have ordered food from golden leaf restaurant and they said they don't deliver the food if that is there they should remove that restaurant from list even after Paying from card the amont has not refunded order on 31 July and today is 6 August 7 days still not received the refund give the refund or give me that amount in the Zomato account so I can order something from that

I have not placed any order in my zomato account. but when i am trying to place an order using coupon code it is showing this is not applicable to you. This is not your first order. can you please help me to solve this?

It seems fake and fraud company for looting our hard earned money.
I had placed an order which got accidentally confirmed while browsing through the menu. The amount was Rs. 632.8.

As Zomato chat was not responding even after I waited for fifteen minutes, I called the restaurant and the delivery boy from zomato whose number was displayed on my app . The restaurant had declined the order and it was reflected on my app.

Zomato called me where one call i missed and the second call i attended. The executive assured me that the order is cancelled and my refund will be done . I even got the refund confirmation as zomato credits on my app .

After all these, in the evening when i opened the app to order dinner with my zomato credits, I was surprised to see the credits as zero.

On contacting the chat support, I got a response as " As per our records, your order was cancelled because we were not able to connect with you. We will not be able to initiate refund as our delivery person and support team tried several times to reach out to you but there was no response at your end".

After asking the chat executive at least to explain his varying responses and to recheck my call and chat records, he was not willing to do so (and was rude)and was just asserting that he will share a stern feedback with the delivery management and try to improve and so on.

I m deeply troubled to be having to write about Zomato where in my Rs.632 is gone for no reason.
Being a regular customer of yours, don't you guys at least have a responsibility to treat your customers with respect and empathy?
I even emailed zomato customer care with following ids: [protected]@zomato.com, [protected]@zomato.com and [protected]@zomato.com. Nobody replied yet. I waited for 4 days.

Expecting my refund as lazypay (it was my payment method) at the earliest.

They are looting like this to every customer but they don't know that when our cell is not reachable and someone tries to call us then we get a message saying that these numbers tried calling you whenever the cell finds network. But, in these cases as Zomato is running a scam and if they only require to call us then why did they ask for address. For this they will say that your address is not exact. They are also not ready to provide the proofs like screenshot of their delivery executives cell so that we can trust that they actually tried calling us.

I have ordered from Zomato on 19th June, but didn't received anything. No refund is initiated till now. Please refund me the amount.
Pre-paid orders are always risky. So never pay in advance. Rather call restaurant from which you want to order food and request them to give you 10 to 20% discount along with cash on delivery. Middleman like Zomato is not required.

This is to inform you that on 07/09/2019 by mistake I placed an order having Order ID [protected] & paid Rs. 207/- via PayTM even I cancelled the order within 30 seconds but didn't get any refund for the same as your one of your executive is saying, "We would like to inform you that according to new policies of Zomato if the order gets cancelled after acceptance by the restaurant, a cancellation charge is levied as the food is prepared/dispatched."

My question is that how can you say that there is no refund applicable?? I cancelled the order within 30 seconds then how is it possible that the food is ready within the said time?? So there is no question of wastage of food.

You also mentioned in your email that I was informed about the refund policy during your chat support which is not at all true. I only received your system generated messages & asked to email the query.

So it's a kind request refund the amount at the earliest.

    I placed an 2 biriyani from zaareen, kolkata through zomato. My order number is [protected].

    Worst part is when i opened both packet one packet is missing chicken. A chicken biryani is delivered to me without chicken. What a frustrating dinner i had and what a disappointing service and quality of zaareen.

    I talked to the zomato customer service and told me that he has confirmed with the restaurant and the order was ok so he will not refund/returned anything to me.

    According to him i'm lying and the restaurant was telling truth. This is utterly frastrated to me. For a 180 bucks i'm going to tell lie??? This kind of customer service you have appointed. When a customer complaint something that means he has enough reason to raise the issue otherwise no one has time to play all around this.

    Please look into this matter seriously. It's not about money it's about respect.

      I placed an order for ovenstory pizza by faasos on 2.08.2018 around 7.45 or 8.00pm. The offer was bogo - order id [protected]. While placing the order there was no option for choosing the 2nd pizza. So i assumed since it has bogo highlighted therefore two pizzas will be delivered. This was my first order with ovenstory.
      I received the order but instead of two pizzas i received only one.
      Issue - 1 - the order i placed was buy one get one pizza. The app didn't show an option to choose 2nd pizza besides a quickly disappearing pop up alert. The app is deceiving enough to make customer pay and deprive them of the offer. I could have placed the order with faaso's and availed the offer instead of going through zomato.
      Issue-2- the chat support lady claimed her name was neelam and was the highest authority present in the night shift. She connected my call with the store incharge who in an extremely rude tone stated if i didnt select the second pizza he cant deliver the second pizza. Neelam was present on the call when this incharge spoke in an unruly fashion. My concern was even the store guys are aware that the pizza order is from zomato and they have a bogo offer on the particular pizza. So for argument sake even if i didnt place the order for the free pizza isnt it the store incharges responsibility to inform the customer and ensure they avail the offer instead of speaking in an unruly fashion.
      Issue-3- neelam followed the tone and insisted that i cannot get refund or compensated as i had not selected the second pizza. She was equally rude in her conversation. She was smart enough to wrap the call and connect on chat. Throughout the chat she denied the presence of a manager, claimed she was the top person in-charge for the night and without any empathy repeatedly stated that i will not be compensated for a very genuine miss.in all this zomato's app is to be blamed but neelam was very smart to push the blame on the restaurant when she realised i wasn't letting it go. She continued to give me the usual customer

        Zomato delivery has been horrible last few weeks. 3 incidents. They delivered chicken instead of veg food. They delivered unpacked food and food was spilled and 3rd the food never came.

        Their delivery executives and customer care use abusive language and do not call back when we have a probelm.

        They only refund in zomato credits which is useless becuase every time we order from zomato there is a problem. I have 1000 in my zomato credits not because of past horrible experience. I was the money refunded to my bank account.

          I placed an order, order id [protected]

          1. You made me wait more than 1 hour for this and after on hour you called me that delivery will not be possible as no delivery guy is available and the person on call told me that i will get a meal.

          2. By the time you called me it was already 3:00 am and i was dying from hunger, i had no choice but to remain so.

          3. I got no message on meal for whole day, not when i tried contacting you chat support well guess what... They are a chat bot.
          No matter what i said, they kept telling me that they will take stern action against restaurant, it was not even restaurant's fault, it was your fault.
          And on top of that they told me that no such meal was promised.
          No matter what i said they kept responding in copy paste script which was neither related to issue that i had nor to what i was saying.
          This is unprofessional and irritating at the same time.

          I am a level 8-9 level foodie on zomato and this is very sad and irating to see this happening and getting such rudeness in reward for my locality. I will do whatever it takes to let otheer people know about this.

            We have delievered food as per offer given in newspaper but in zomato app reflect that "restaurant does not deliever here change ur address."

            Zomato lose many orders due to this, from our company many orders placed but all are rejected and also you are not showing any delivery instruction

            So, please do needful to provide food at our location.

            you have also not mention any limited kilometer area in pamplet delievered from zomato .please clearly mention in pamplet
            in Application sometimes delievery at our location at GSFC, Dashrath is available, order amount was already deducted than after we receive a message that order is not delievered at your location than we have to further make process for refund.

            please improve your system and do needful from your end.

              I ordered chk barbeque sandwich with potato chips and a hot chocolate brownie.. The order was frm food night factory... Its 24hr food restaurant on zomato in chandigarh... I didnt got full order... They didnt delivered potato chips which are usually very much everytime... Instead of calling them i ordered thru zomato and this happened.. I selected cod so cudnt use any promo code... Bill was 385rupees... I later got their number frm ur app too... I said them that i submit complaint on zomato but they didnt cared...                 Really very disappointed with the services. I ordered at 11:20 pm, got confirmation but they cancelled my order and i was really hungry and slept hungry. They only know to empathise via chat support. Dont use the app, services are really very bad at night.
                I came back home and was really hungry, they are the worst and not even refunding money.
                Amd the chat support was also not so. Sorry about it and did not do anything apart from saying sorry, i really want strict actions to be taken against them as there service and guest hanfking is a treat to. Customer service industry. When i told them that i am going to make an complaim they said "your wish"

                Make sure that zomato would always remember to follow rules and fulfil promises.

                  Didn't recived my paid order of around 300
                  Im an unwell person and depression paitent now i hungry like hell as well
                  I used a perfect order address and a option prior informing that im unwell that they provide on their behalf then to they where not able to deliver
                  Their tracking order service is under update and thats the reason i also was not able to talk to delivery boy i just need food and ill wait till i die because of their irresponsible behaviour chat service was also not working... What can be done to save a life in this case and do they really see that social resposibility and customer service are very importent consumer right in cases like this

                    I ordered from zomato in Gazab ba restrurent for lunch. The menu was chili chiken and noodles. But when I placed my order Rupees 62 is debited from my bank account but order was not placed. After contacting the customer care they told me that the money would refund. But still I dont recieve any refund. From [protected] i ordered this. When i get my refund

                    Same thing just happened to me. Customer support says wait 5-7 days when error is completely on their end.

                      I had been chasing for registering our restaurant in hyderabad, and even provided documents to akhil reddy and a few. First the staff who has been in touch with me, was more interested in selling his advertisements, rather then registering the restaurant. Despite sending the documents, he neither responds or picksup calls from us.

                      This is against the base requirement of showcasing a restaurant to the customer.

                      Also, it appears becoming a monopoly, zomato team takes their income earning cows like unwanted filth, which they should learn to come out. Their staff are neither professional nor customer friendly. They earn from every restaurant roughly around 30% and still they do not respect that.

                      My order ZTD18A09638D43D8A2ED was cancelled by zomato stating non availability of delivery boy. I was told that refund will me made to me. However I have not received any refund. I tried to tell this on live chat but there too I was only given assurances. Kindly refund my money or I have no option but to go to consumer court

                        My account under [protected] was blocked for no reason and after following up with the team on email multiple times there has been no response.

                        Created a new account with [protected] and now as per order number [protected]. The restaurant has canceled the order but the zomato team is not issuing the refund for the money paid.

                        It has been frustrating experience for me using zomato. Pathetic customer service and lack of customer centricity has been a big problem.

                        Now this has reached the heights. I want compensation for harassing me. Zomato is doing this because they know that they have monopoly in delivering the food late at night or early in the morning and hence they are torturing me by not letting me order online.

                          I have ordered pizza though zomato app but after placing order instantly I got an call from delivery boy that restaurant from where I have placed order they are denying to place order to power cut I just can't understand that if restaurant which are your partners if they can't place order then why it was showing on app place order online they have wasted my so much time and this was not sufficient for you people after that when I talked with customer care executive about refund then she said there is proper procedure that you will get your refund after 6 or 7 working days but why so is it my fault or yours if you can't give good service to people kindly close your app why we need to wait for our refund when mistake is from your side just think about it once if you seriously want that people in future place order through zomato just change this worst procedure.

                            I have purchased zomato gold m. No: 490959, today and i havent used their services yet however there is no provision of cancellations. Its tyranny of these ecommerce companies to maraud without any arbitration rights. Neither do they mention cancellation policy/ t&c which should be published right before payments.                               Placed my order of chicken roll on 22nd july of value 150 rs and i paid it through my card. The amount was deducted but order was not placed. When i queried the restaurant they told me that it would be refunded but i can't find any connection on the customer support no plus the zomato chat helpline server is also not working. No amount was refunded till today. Now there is no reply from the supporting staff. The zomato is just looting money by this way from many people...

                                Nitin this side. I made order at sanjha chulha restaurant in sec-19, faridabad. I pay my bill amount through paytm. I contact zomato delivery boy he told me that zomato boys are following strike so i cannot deliver any food. After that i call sanjha chula restaurant then there they asked for billing amount and some extra charges. This behavior is not good.

                                I have ordered food from box8 and prepaid by paytm. After a while, received a call stating that order is cancelled. I am asking for refund on chat, they are not able to track. Order no. [protected]. Refund the money for order. Toll free no is pathetic!!

                                  Sir i terminate by my area zomato office they say u are terminate by delhi office bt i cant receive any terminated letter or massage why sir... My fault is just i am placing a order by zomato app and eat.. Sir my area branch directly terminate plz sir plz rejoin me i promise after rejoin i am not placing any order... Sir i dont have dad i am a one man from my home to do job sir they directly terminate me...                                     Mr. CEO,

                                    This is to highlight as how your company is making its customers starved to death.

                                    I order a meal today at 7/24/2018 - 2:12:41 PM with Order ID [protected]

                                    Now it was mentioned that my order will be delivered in 52 minutes which is 3:02 PM.

                                    I was already very hungry and was somehow managing to wait for those 52 minutes and when I didn't see any sign of the food getting delivered by 2:52, I initiated a chat with Zomato Support.

                                    I asked about the status on my order and the executive told me that your order will be delivered in next 24-29 minutes. I asked about the reason so he tried to call the Delivery boy who didn't respond.

                                    Then your executive told me that he had a conversation with Restaurant and there has been a cylinder blast and that's why order is delayed.
                                    I calmly asked him how do I believe that and he arrogantly replied this is what we have got from Restaurant.

                                    Furthermore, I called the restaurant by faking my identity as a Fire Engineer from nearest fire station and I got to know there was no cylinder blast, there was a little fire incident which happened around 11:30 AM (Two and half hours before I ordered) and Restaurant also confirmed that they resumed to normal operations within 30-40 minutes of that incident as it was a small fire incident.

                                    It has been 2 hours and I haven't got my food yet. In fact my order has actually been cancelled by ZOMATO.

                                    To compensate your executive said that they are sending a complimentary Meal. As if that's gonna make any good for the hassles which your company has given to me.

                                    Also even that meal hasn't arrived and its been 55 minutes since the executive said they are making it delivered.

                                    DO YOU CALL THIS BEST FOOD SERVICE??

                                    I ordered some food through zomato for price 150 rs. I submitted the debitcard payment details and clicked for place order. Then I got a connection error but cash was debited from my account.
                                    I again tried and order was placed. But again cash of Rs. 150 was debited from my account. Please look into it.

                                      I placed order on 13th of value 191rs and i paid it through my card. The amount was deducted but order was not placed. When i queried in consumer support they said it will be refunded. But no amount was refunded till today. The same thing again happened on 17th of value 334rs. Now there is no reply from the supporting staff. The zomato is just looting money by this way from many people.

                                      It is really pathetic service, I am a gold member of zamato. But i think i dont suggest any friends to take gold membership, service, chat support every thing pathetic. Really feeling disappointed, two times it happened, order food came 2hrs late, cancelling is not possible

                                      Agree with Subhransu, customer support is virtually non-existent. Company takes no responsibility for failures with their systems. Expects to take customers money, fail to place any order and then say "surely refund will be sent in 5-7 days" due to "RBI Regulations" all the while my money has already been taken from me.
                                      Ma order in Zomato s not place but ma money got deducted dis s really horrible

                                        Hi! I am narender kumar bearing contact no. [protected]. I had placed order for food through zomato, and food was to be supplied by shahi naan wala, paschim vihar. Order was confirmed having order id: [protected] dtd.23.07.2018. I received a call from zomato (Land line no.[protected], at 20:06 pm, and the person informed me that my order is being cancelled because at about 8:30 pm, delivery is not possible in my locality. I guess an ordinary man takes dinner about this time only 8:30 pm. Also the food supplier "shahi naan wala" starts taking order after 7:30pm. I don't understand where i was wrong?? Later on i received message that refund of my amount has been initiated and i was give rs.50/- as a compensation, however it should be understood that money cannot replace food. I am really very disappointed with this episode. I intend an action to be taken against that delivery boy, who refused to deliver at my place, and other errant officials involved, so that in future it is not repeated. You may very well verify that i have received orders at my location in past.
