Hey they also blocked my account without saying anything. I had a order with zomtao in which packing is open and the ants around the food when i complaint they give me refund but after that day they block my account and are not replying of mails i have sent and i have try to contact customer support through another zomato account but they are saying to contact at mail. And i also have 1533 rs stuck in my zomato account.

Hey they also blocked my account without saying anything. I had a order with zomato in which is incorrect one so when i complaint they not even give me refund and after that day they block my account and are not replying of mails i have sent and i have try to contact customer support through another zomato account but they are saying to contact at mail. And i also have 184 rs stuck in my zomato account.

    I ordered food from up dhaba restraunt, whitefield, methi chicken, lollipop and roti.
    They sent the food which is completely salty and so dur to that i complained to zomato chat support and asked them to help.
    I told them to take back their food and arrange replacement of that, then they sent 50 credits and telling we have done what we can do and now nothing can be done.

    My complete 200 rupees is wasted and i m helpless.

    It's complete cheating.

    People should not order through zomato.
    Be aware of it.

      Hi,

      I tried ordering food from zomato and it failed. The quality of food that I received was not very good and I decided to report it then I thought of the trouble I'll had to go through to get this refunded or replaced and decided to throw it.

      I ordered for a second time and it went well. So, I thought to order again without realizing the thought that zomato would screw it up and yes you did. The food was prepared using bad oil and was completely burnt and I contacted your support team to get a refund to which I was informed that they can only replace it. I explained that the oil used was not good and hence I only wanted a refund. The agent disconnected the which was not at all a professional approach.

      I initiated chat again to which the agent asked me to give the food to someone who needs it as they can only arrange for a replacement. As the oil that was used was not good, I denied a replacement from the same restaurant.

      Am I at fault here for burnt food?
      For using bad oil?

      Is it my fault?
      What has Zomato done to resolve this apart from informing me that I can donate the food to someone who needs it or that I should check the rating of the restaurant before making an order.

      If a restaurant is not providing good items, first of all why is that restaurant on your list?

      I would like to take this forward as a formal complaint. Please let me know how you'd prefer to deal with this. I would be filing a complaint with consumer court as my rights have been violated here. I would ask my legal representative to take this forward.

      I use promo code 50 aed my order was total 65 aed 50 aed deduct promo coad remaining 15 aed when i pay from card 15 aed they deduct full payment it is cheating
      What the hell service provide by zomato, cheated me did not refund my money also i didn't get food
      they cheated me taking my money. so refund my money with intrest

        I have order the food for which i have paid online and order was confirmed from the zomato side. And i was waiting for the food so long.. And after delivery time i contacted the restaurant they replied that they will not deliver the confirmed order for which i have paid. Then i complaint to the zomato customer care they asked me to place another new order from other restaurant. I made the second order and made the online payment. Now they are not delivering the second order for which i have paid again.
        I am very hungry and now i will not get food anywhere right now. What i should do?
        They are doing fraud just charging for ordering food online and not delivering the food.
        I think today i have to sleep in hunger.

          I ordered dominos pizza at 7:06 pm on 10/06/2018, i haven't received the order and still the app shows delivered. I payed online and the money is not refund yet. I order from this number [protected].
          Can you please make transaction as early as possible. I always happy with zomatos service but this time it is worst. I hope my complaint will solve as early as possible.

            I have ordered kokan tadka non-veg combo and chicken biryani combo each rs.99/- being inspired by your advt. Leaflets “ excusive offers” today with times of india news paper. And no minimum order and no delivery charges.

            However, the delivery man claimed delivery charges of rs.30/- and delivered very poor quality food even worst than sold in foot paths.

            There is no mention of restaurant name nor name of person delivering the food.

            I request for immediate black listing of the restaurant and details of the same. And also refund of amount paid rs, 228/-

              I ordered biryani in zomato. After receiving my order i was a horrible experience and never tasted such worest food in my life. When i spoke to customer care executive they simple ask me to file a complaint. They are cheating customers. Pls beware of zomato. Till now no respnse from zomato customer care. So pls look into this take a proper action. So that no body will get cheated by these people

                I ordered food from empire restaurant via zomato and the executive was assigned for delivery after 1hr of placing order. Later after 2omins i get a call from zomato saying the order was damaged on the way while doing the delivery (Which i feel reason is not true) but i told them to go back to restaurant and get the replacement (Which was agreed by zomato executive) but after half an hour i get a msg saying that order is cancelled and amount will be refunded (Really pissed off).
                Now, i have few questions.
                1) while the order is on the way and it's already late for delivery and the order is damaged. Who is responsible for that? Zomato or restaurant. If zomato, is paying back the refund right way to solve it? After making your customer wait for hours? Instead of refunding why can't i get a new order?
                2) the executive assigned to my order left the restaurant and stopped at some place for half an hour. Is there a chance that he ate my food and later tells zomato that order is damaged? Or will my order go back to restaurant as damaged? (Bcoz executive never picked my call when i saw he is paused at some location for half an hour)

                Got first call from zomato at 11:48pm
                And finally got message that order is cancelled at 12:15am.

                . This is something really unacceptable. I want proper answer to my questions. Bcoz of you guys i have too sleep without dinner (Second time).

                  On 9th june 2018 i downloaded your application and placed order at 12.30 pm i waw assured that order will reach in 47 minutes however even after follow up with ur chat support there was no update provided... Finally i got call from zomato at 2.30 pm that order is cancelled... That person who called was extremely unprofessional and cant speak english... Ur chat support is extremely pathetic they dont have clue about any thing... Pathetic tracking system and worst services... I have made online payment and and non o[censored]r people are have solid answer when i will get money back. I am uninstalling your app and planing to go to consumer court.

                    I ordered dinner around 8:40 pm with zomato through online payment, we waited for more than 2 and half hours. I'm keep on tracking the order and checked with the merchant they told me they were waiting for zomato delivery boy to hand over our food. After 2:30 hrs we just got an text message from zomato stating that they cancelled our order and they will refund our amount and they mentioned it might take 5-7 working day. Really fed up with zomato.

                      On 27th May I had ordered food for my guests through Zomato from a nearby restaurant. It was supposed to get delivered in 45 minutes. After one and a half hour I checked about my order through Zomato chat service but I could not get a satisfying response. 2 hours passed by, my guests and me waited for the order to come and was extreamly embarrassing situation for me. I was told through Zomato chat that my order will reach me in 15 minutes.
                      After a few minutes I came to know that the merchant has cancelled my order. (After two and a half hour of wait)
                      Mr order value was Rs 476.
                      I then was informed by Zomato chat that we have credited 119rs to your account due to inconvenience caused to me which was of no use to me at the time of extreme frustration.
                      Zomato informed me that you will be getting the order refund (of rs 476) in 5-7 business days excluding saturday and sunday.
                      Today (7th June'18) is the 9th business day and when I checked with an executive through Zomato chat I am being asked to send my bank statement via Email for the refund. I asked them that this was not informed to me on 27th and why should I send my bank statement at the first place for getting my own money back for which Zomato already has the proof of.
                      The Zomato executive today was so pathetic and handled my complaint so poorly that I am forced to write here and might write in other forums as well.

                      I have not received any refund yet. Would advise all to refrain from using Zomato as YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK FOR CANCELLED ORDERS BOOKED THROUGH ZOMATO.!

                      PATHETIC AND MENTALLY HARASSING SERVICE TEAM ZOMATO!

                        Today I ordered 2 haleem from arsalan (order number [protected]). To my shock received only one. I had guest at my home for iftaar and these people put me in an embarrassing position. Worst, all they said was sorry and reverse price for 1 haleem. Is this compensation for the embarrassing situation I faced? Not to mention, I was suppose to get free soft drink with haleem which I did not receive. I am uninstalling this application and requesting people to stop using the service.

                          I placed my order from faasos and got message for delivery in next 40 min. Which is too long time but after waiting for such long time i did not receive any information about delay.

                          Service is so pathetic and customer support too.

                          My experience is very bad which i really was not expecting.
                          I am giving 1 no.in review cause there is no big 0. For this pathetic service.

                          Ordered food item from Empire Restaurant, Indiranagar, Blr at 7:23 PM. Didn't receive order till 9:30PM. At last had to cancel the order.
                          Zomato promised delivery in 45 minutes, Empire restaurant promised delivery in 45 minutes but both failed. Zomato and Empire both are fooling customers with time limits??
                          Uninstalling the application.

                            Last saturday i ordered a cheesecake pastry, entire ring. Delivery boy got the pastries smashed. I asked him to take the order back which he refused saying that's not our policy and asked to raise a complaint instead. Its been 7 days, forget about resolution zomato has not even acknowledged my mail. I have send them the picture. Needless to say my experience with zomato compared to swiggy or ubereats has been most pathetic. I have decided never to order from them again

Delivery bill no. 8053 dated 05/06/2018 21.38 hours for an amount of rs. 612/- i did not have change; hence, i paid rs. 2000/- cash to the delivery boy who promised to refund the balance amount of rs.1388/-. This order was delivered at my above residence by the delivery boy salman zuber pwaskar (Mobile[protected] around 10.10 pm when my father was attending to his legal work...

                              Just because my number was not reachable this person abused us so badly.. I would be proceeding to the legal authorities and consumer court for this behavior..
                              This employee called me and abused me badly also continously harsh words.. I have even complained to the restaurant regarding this arrogant behavior of this employee. This was really a disgusting and disgraceful incident..

                              Complaing from last 2 days . Need full money refund
                              I have ordered from a restaurant worth 199 rupees and it got cancelled due to issues with zomato. Zomato sent a message that refund will be made within 2-7 working days.It's been almost 3 weeks and still there is no refund. The order id is [protected].                                 I placed order on zomato # [protected].
                                Delivery boy called up to explain that the order has been placed to wrong location via zomato. Please go and website and ask for cancellation and the order will be cancelled.
                                I have the recording of the same.

                                I immediately emailed to zomato and they mentioned, they are looking in to it. But no response for last 3 days even after sending several reminders.
                                Please assist and i want my money refunded to my account.

                                  I ordered some food from zomato where it showed ne a coupon where it was nowhere mentioned that coupon is not vaild or valid for me and when i applied the coupon code it was applied as normal coupon without any error and it showed me discount of 50% and a final price of balance 50% and further when i proceeded for checkout it dedcuted the whole amount from my balance withoyt any discount.                                   My food was accepted and confirmed, and at the last minute was cancelled without a warning. I was given a call by zomato informing me that i will be immediately refunded the order amount, so i could re order. I was never given the remedy so promised. This is deficiency in service. Zomato should be punished punitively. No app after confirming your order should be able to say, that your order could not be confirmed.

                                    I ordered one pizza on2nd june, which was totally spoilt and wasn't in a condition to eat. We had to throw it in the bin, the delievery boy dint even bother to deliver the pizza on our doorstep (Actual delievey address) so i had a word with the chat support and they only apologised but couldnt process a refund. So i called the restaurant manager and what i was told by them is, its the delievery boy who messed up, even after insisting on carrying the bag by the manager, the delivery boy dint, i have mailed them couple of times and no response. So i want a refund to be initiated because it was a total mess and a complete waste of money
