Zomato has blocked my account and also my cash which was there in my account. And when contacted they are giving lame reason.

As informed earlier, the account has been blocked as system precautionary measure pertaining to various issues and merchant complaints. Therefore, the account cannot be unblocked and along-with the credits have been blocked as well. The credits can neither be redeemed nor transferred to any other mode.

    On 13th aug mr s das and his friends have posted a review about chill maar cafe. This gentleman has not followed certain rules of the cafe and then gone ahead and written a whole story and insulted management and made false allegations on staff on zomato site. On informing zomato the same they have said that the review does not violate their content and they have also replied saying that they are a digital intermediary and they do not have the ability to validate the truth of the situation.in such a case if you are an intermediary then you have to listen to both parties and address their concerns. If you as a site is not in a position to verify/ validate the authenticity of the situation then you cannot have such a review published on your site. Any person can write anything in their own language and you will say that meets your criteria. So your content guidelines allow management trolling/insulting the owner/ false allegations on the staff. Even when we are wanting to furnish proof you say that you are not in a position to verify the truth. Hence we are not willing to suffer hard earned image loss, that too without any verification any validation. Hence we request to take this extremely derogatory review off zomato.in case that they are incapable to do so we would not be wanting to be associated with a platform that encourage and support reviews/inappropriate content without proper verification.

        Ordered food yesterday, 14/08/18 on zomato from arsalan, taratala at 10:03 pm. paid via debit card. though money got deducted, but food was not delivered. yet zomato app is showing delivered at 10:38. customer care no. available on internet is invalid. how can such a big company have no proper complain or helpline number.
        Waited for dinner just to see delivered on the app, and not receive the food. Realy disappointed.
        I need refund.

          I placed an order from zomato last night at 10:00 p. M. (14/08/2018) and i got a call from the delivery boy that he is not able to deliver on time so i tried to convey same info to zomato customer service but they are not ready to listen to my request and stick with same delivery boy that made a huge wait for food which is around 2 hr.

          At the end, they cancel my order and made me sleep hungry.

            We placed an order( No. [protected]) from registered phone no. [protected] on 15th of August, 2018 in the morning. The order was small from a nearby restaurant called Adithyaa did not reach us even after we waited for two hours. We tried to call the customer care and even tried other means of helpline communication like Zomato Chat but there was no response from Zomato. The people at the hotel said that the food was ready but no Zomato delivery man was there to pick it up.

              Folks, beware of the so called "food valets" hired this company. These delivery people carry food in their personal backpack, absolutely devoid of hygiene. On tuesday 14th august, a chicken dish was delivered by zomato which was stinking of sweat and dirt, so absolutely repulsive that one would vomit.
              Then part 2 if horror begins when i contacted the customer service. Zomato customer service is so pathetically arrogant and outright harassing the paying customers.
              The intelligent person on the other side says, you should have preserved the stinking food otherwise you deserve no help implying that i was a lying cheat scheming for 250 rupees.
              Bullies of zomato listen carefully, 250 means not much to me but the fact that you were doubting me and implying that i am a cheat for a paltry 250 rs infuriates me.
              So the bottom line is first get delivered stinking repulsive food then follow it by losing hard-earned money and top it off by getting called a liar, a cheat.

                    I was ordering from a restaurant. I still not selected all the items and the order got placed accidentally. When i asked zomato customer support to cancel the order as I will place a new order. They didn't help me said they cant. The number listed of restaurant also was not reachable. I had to pay for something i didn't want to eat. This is simply cheating with the customers and not being supportive.
                    Why would i pay for something that i dont want to eat.

                      I ordered a dal fry and different breads. But dal was almost stinking and sour like hell. All the breads were like rubber. There was no difference between taste of lachha prantha and tandoori roti. Rumali roti was even worse.
                      I live in badarpur extension and the delivery was from a restaurant in sector 41, faridabad. I want compensation and suitable action against the restaurant. I still have that food. Also, North India helpline number is not working, .

                        I had ordered for mutton pepper fry on kritunga restaurant and paid for the same but got delivered chicken pepper. Called the restaurant, 3 people listened to my complaint one after the other to finally tell me to call zomato customer care. There is no correct contact number anywhere on google. Have tried 9 numbers till now, nothing works. Return my money.

                          I have order dinner on 11th august around 8.30 pm, till 10.30 pm the order was not picked by the delivery person whereas the restaurant confirmed that food was ready for pick up within 40 mins after placing the order. Several calls and messages got exchanged but no resolution from zomato customer service. The delivery boy named amit kumar never picked my calls. Now at 10.30pm i again called up the restaurant to confirm whether my order was picked up or not, the restaurant confirmed me that the delivery has picked your order 5 mins back but the to my surprise the order was never delivered to me and reply from zomato team is "sir apologies request you to cancel the order since the delivery boy is not responding". I had some guest at my place and what an embarrassing situation in front of guests. I was so pissed & annoyed and have no clue that what do i do at 11pm in the night most of the other placed must have closed for orders. After so many calls and messages my order automatically got cancelled by zomato. This is the second time i am facing this situation with zomato.
                          Would certainly not use zomato again and never recommend to anyone. Pathetic team, customer service is just useless. How come zomato recruit such people??? You should close your services since to can't give service.

                            I placed on order via zomato app on 12th August at 2:16 PM, while i was trying to make an online payment through zomato app using sbi net banking, the session expired and amount was debited from my account but when i spoke zomato customer care executive they said amount is not credited at their end.I would request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue asap.

                              I ordered 1 white sauce pasta, 1 honey chilli potato and 1 coke from chandigarh flavours.
                              First of all the order took very late.
                              And when the order was delivered we asked for the coke to the delivery boy named kailash he said that the concerned restaurant person has not given and when we talked to the concerned person he said he gave every thing written in the order.
                              He asked us to give the phone to the delivery boy.
                              In the mid night outside our gate the boy started shouting at the restaurant owner, showing that it was whole mistake of the owner.
                              We asked him to leave.
                              We want you take some actions against such delivery boys who are careless.

He is not a man but definitely he is a "pig" . And his scooter registration number is AP10S 3644. Beware, of this Pig.

                                Zomato noe provide gud cuatomer and restaurant services in compare to swiggy, many times facing negative response from delivery partber end or else restayrant side. While taken zomato support always saying sorry but no chance of resolve my query. After getting gold membership vsited gold partner restaurant but restaurant denied for claim gold benefits same time in such scenario i contact with one of the executive again in revert saying sorry for convinience. No one can help in such case only sorry and future help was heared from all past zomato executive. There is no senior or nodal officer support no provided by them.

                                I am Rashna F Chhoi, I have paid by ICICI bank for my zomato membership where as its been charged twice amounted to INR 1343.20. Requesting you to please refund the money back in our card.
                                Zomato deducted Rs.252 from my paytm account which was linked to my zomato account without my prior permission.
                                Picture attached along with the trasaction id.
                                The service is really really worst. No time sense. No sensible people. No proper knowledge in handling customer. Worst delivery people. No offers . Not maintaining quality.

                                    1×chicken curry
                                    Cost was 300
                                    2. Have a screenshot for the same
                                    3. Zomato placed the order for special beef biriyani - which was my previous order costing 155
                                    4. Zomato support adjusted the same with hotel and asked me to pay 312 rs in cash more for the same order
                                    5. Plus i made a new order for the same via zomato costing me rs 170 more.

                                    Need a resolution for the same in 48 hrs.

                                      Hi team,

                                      This is regarding today online food delivery. I have ordered food from zomato for 2nd time and the restarant was showing under my location and when my order was packed delivery person (Rahul kumar) connected me to know the location he was new for my location and does not know the whole area. So i connected to chat support and ask them to connect to executive my location but they cancelled the order saying that location is far for 15-20 kms but i checked on google maps it's showing only 9 kms away. I have not received the order because of that pathetic reason. I felt bad infront of my guests that i have not received the order. If location is so far then they should let me know first after n hour they cancelled the order because executive does not know the location. I want apology letter because as a customer i have the right to ask and they should improve their delivery experience. Attached screenshots for your reference

                                        Ordered food from zomato, it took 40min and when i started chatting with the customer support which is highly ignorant and cancelled my order. Then i called the driver he told it was cancelled from their side. As per driver the app isn't functioning well.
                                        Then i ordered again, the same thing, exactly same thing happened, they cancelled. It's been 2 hours playing around with zomato. There isn't customer care to contact, order address the greviences or whatever. Another money making thing, who cares about customer is it??
                                        Anyways it's a worst experience ever ordering food online.
