*payment accepted by merchant and ordered confirmed but the merchant has no clue of the order.

*zomato valet unable to pickup the order from merchant because they were not informed by zomato

*chat support claims that the issue is from the customer’s end.

*zomato promises to deliver the order in another 15 mins after an initial wait of an hour.

*the food never reached the customer, who was sick and needed the food.

*no relief from chat support, although they agreed the issue was from their side.

*utter disregard of time, humiliation and embarrassment is all you get from zomato.

P. S i have made several orders at zomato this was not my first. And such issues have happened more than 3 times. I’m raising an issue now because of the discomfort caused to my sick father.

So I called the delivery boy from my phone and said him to call to my number . After half an hour I called the delivery boy, then his phone was switched off . The delivery boy number is[protected]

      I ordered for one choco truffle cake on 28th aug at 8.50pm. After all discount they deducted from my account rs. 361.01 on cake square chennai anna nagar branch through zomato.
      I placed the order and cash was debited from my account. But there was no order confirmation and was automatically redirected to the previous page.in my orders section of zomato app only order confirmation was not there. I even called the restaurant and asked whether the order got booked. They said we didnt get any order. So we are not responsible for your amount. From now onwards i will never pay with debit or credit card if this kind of service is provided. Not able to contact customer service through app and phone call also

        I had bad experience in zomato, where they refunded my money for stale food & blocked my account. After multiple mails also they are not responding, please unblock my account asap as i want to order more. Without my permission only they blocked my account which is unacceptable, i was totally shocked by the zomato's gesture. Please don't be so aggressive on customers.         I am not able to use promo codes in my account, Wat type of nonsense is this from zomato ?? Zomato is pathetic is providing promo codes to customers. Resolve it quickly zomato.

          Dear sir,

          Zomato is a very reputed company, and in my views zomato is ranked no. 1 in food delivery companies. I heared so many good words about zomato. That is why i choosed only zomato for my first ever online food order and have a strong believe that zomato will resolve the issue at his best.

          But in this order which i placed today evening my experience is so worse.
          It was my first order at zomato. I used a promo code (Paytm60) while ordering and the same promo applied successfully (Message of promo applied 60% discount, showed there) i attached the screenshot of that page showing promo applied.

          This promo had a offer of 60% discount in bill and 15% cashback in paytm wallet.

          My bill was of 301 rupees and as per offer i should charged only 120 rupees. But zomato deducted full 301 rupees from my paytm wallet.
          Means 180 rupees wrongly charged extra.

          I raised this issue in your chat box.
          And chated 2+ hours with your executive but he was saying that u didn't applied the promo code. And now he could only give 180 credit point in zomato. Which is never acceptable.

          As ur executive is saying that i had not applied the code is totally wrong. As i received the 15 % cashback in my paytm wallet for the same promo code.
          He told me to send the screenshot of receiving 15% cashback, therefore i attached paytm screenshot too here.

          Please look into the matter and refund my 180 rupees, which is wrongly deducted from my paytm wallet.

          Please resolve the issue as soon as possible, this resolution will strengthen our relationship and my trust and believe over zomato will grow.

          It's regarding the mentioned order on 22nd aug. The delivery guy was very rude. He was not ready to come to the address instead he was ordering me to come to the main road.
          This Process took more than 90 Mins. and at last zomato canceled this order.

            I have ordered food at 9:00 pm and am still waiting for food. Shall post the exact time when the food will be delivered to me.

            I have placed food order from indian cravings greater kailash - 1 and they promised me to deliver it in 1 hour but it's 10:50 pm right.. Still no clue when they will deliver the food. I called up zomato customer care but not getting any satisfactory answer, they are not even calling me back nor picking the call. The worst food service i have seen so far.

            I'm zomato Rider, couple of days ago I got terminated... So I go to andheri office to ask the reason for terminating... So they told me that we don't know any reason.. ye sab upar se hua hai... Hum kuch nahi kar sakte... & box of this I dnt get my salary... so plz help me if any one is there for justice...
            On 19th August due to gateway failure my money is debited but not refunded yet

              I have placed a order on zomato on 26/8/2018 in morning, and check out that they cancelled my order. I paid 146.5 rupee via net banking.
              When I talk to customer care they said that the amount will be credited in your bank account. But It never happens.
              I requested zomato to atleast add money in my zomato wallet, they even denied to do the same.

              I have even checked out that zomato does not have any bank return policy.

                I had placed an order with ovenstory pizza, mulund west, mumbai today at 12:35 pm. The scheduled delivery time for the order was 1:20 pm. I've a screenshot of the entire order summary too.

                Now, after waiting till 1:40 pm, i started calling up zomato customer care which got redirected to your partner restaurant. They told me that the delivery guy has already started from the place twenty minutes ago (I. E. 1:20 pm) and will reach my place in 10 minutes. Please note that the guy is already late from the scheduled time.

                Now, at 1:50 pm (I. E. After 30 minutes of scheduled delivery), i again got in touch with zomato chat (I have taken a screenshot) and asked the person to cancel my order because it was already half an hour late. Your guy gave me rs. 223 zomato credits and gave me the standard apology response. The two kids in my house were hungry and ofcourse, there was no way i would have waited for your irresponsible delivery guy to get my food. So i told oven story as well as zomato chat person to cancel my order asap and refund my money back - i don't want any zomato credits or coupons.

                Then, my family stepped out for lunch and then the delivery guy called me up at 2:10 pm (I have the call records) from [protected] that he's there at my place with piping hot pizzas. Well, you took one hour and thirty minutes to come to my doorstep with pizzas that were ready 50 minutes back!

                And then, the guy marked the order as "delivered" even though no one took the delivery!!! You have already charged my credit card for the full amount.

                This is a case of blatant cheating and i am going to take this case further. This is extremely pathetic. I expect you to refund me back my entire amount asap for the food that never reached my plate!

                  Hello, i have ordered a dish in zomato i thought the food will be nice but i am surprised to see the food spoiled when i got my food delivered. Some kind of bad and spoiled smell is coming from food. Even the hotel management or zomato members are not satisfying the customers instructions for delivery. How are you dealing with such an unreputed hotels. I just wasted my money by ordering that. Please give back the money i have paid you for the order.

                  I had ordered donuts from Mad Over Donuts, Phoenix Market City, Pune. They cancelled the food order themselves and I had made the payment of Rs 374 online, the same has still not been refunded. Please refund the same amount as soon as possible .

                    I ordered food through zomato at my work address but somehow it got ordered to my home address. I spoke with someone from zomato and he assured me that he will update the correct address to the delivery boy. After more than an hour of placing my order i got a call from the delivery boy stating that he was standing at my home address. When i asked him if he was informed about the address change, he straight away said no and refused to deliver the order to my work address which is approx 1.5km from my home address. I spoke with zomato again informing the same and they said that they cannot do anything as the delivery boy is not picking up the phone and asked me to cancel the order. My concerns are:

                    1. Why was the delivery boy not informed about the address change?
                    2. Why was incorrect information provided to me that the delivery boy is informed about the address change?
                    3. If zomato cannot change the delivery address after the order is placed, why was it not informed to me at the same time instead of an hour later?

                    I am extremely unhappy and dissappointed with this instance.

                        My order number was [protected] and my issue is that in the order that there was only 2 pieces of chicken tandoori whereas it was mentioned that the item will have 4 pieces.. And the afghani chicken had 4 peices but theres was no white cream. Also, it was an free meal for your previous complaint raised the same day when your merchant rejected my order by stating some useless reason. Both the time i was being tricked into it and felt like cheated completely by given a bogus happy meal that was of zero value. Neither the restaurant nor you guys helped me saying that we can only provide happy meal once. I can understand that but at least have the courtesy to accept your fault tomato did twice in a day and can compensate only one time. Such a useless policy and always ready only with apology. Why should i waste my time with you ever again. Goodbye to zomato forever.

                          Last week i ordered food from zomato, but food was bad, that's why i asked for refund, after 3 hours of argument they refunded the order but that night zomato blocked all my account, when i mailed them they said that they are unable to unblock it again. I know why they blocked my account, one of zomato executive abused me and used wrong word, when i complained about him in social media they blocked my all accounts instead of taking action against them. Shame on zomato

                            I just ordered a dish displayed on Zomato's website for a restaurant Tawa Street today, dated[protected]. The dish stated "Dilli wali dal makhni Combo" and it had a description stating with 2 butter naans but unfortunately what I got was 2 butter roti's.

                            Gladly I went back to Zomato asking for this discrepancy and after they checked the menu and called the restaurant to my utter shock the customer service rep still insisted that the order had 2 butter rotis instead of 2 butter naans.

                            Under normal circumstances, I would've ignored such an error but now that Zomato has refused to accept their fault, which in principle was incorrect I thought it would be best to raise a complaint with the consumer forum for misleading advertisements

                              I ordered food from zomato (11.08.2018) and it took an hour for them to atleast respond to this. After two & half hours i got a message
                              "The order could not be placed as there was a payment gateway failure. The refund is auto-initiated and since it is reversed through the payment gateway, it will reflect in your account in the next 8 to 7 business days. I would request you to please place an order using an alternate mode of payment or a different card.

                              After waiting for 3 hrs the status showed delivered..
                              again i contact to zomato customer care (23.08.2018) still they not refund my amount 285..
                              Pls refund my money to me.

                                I was about to place a order and without the confirmation of the payment mehtod and address it did take order.
                                I don't stay at that place anymore and your customer support didnot help me out in that matter.
                                And the delivery agent is threatening me in a bad manner. Is it the right thing to do?

                                But the money was deducted and the order was not placed.

                                  Hi i ordered food on 22 aug at 8:30 pm around but some technical issue order not placed it shows some error try after some time but money is debited from my account so make a suitable action against my complaint and refund my money back in my account you are running business so you guys need to give complete attantion to the customers and also give the complete support and a more thing if your help line numbers are not working then why you put on internet really my experience with tomato is horrible

                                      I worked in office till late night and after reaching my PG I ordered food online in Zomato. I made payment and also get confirmation message. I order at 11.30 P.M and till i didn't get order that's why i contacted to Zomato Customer Care, they said the delivery boy tire is panctured and your order is rejected. Just imagine at that time i can't able to go outside to eat. I believed Zomato that they will deliver me and waiting for it. I argued strongly to Customer care and they said we will arrange food to me . They also sent me Order id and i am waiting for that delivery. After 20min they again replied me the same. They are not treating customers good and playing with Cosumer emotions. I want explanation from them and also consideration for my loss.

                                      Hi! I've ordered something for Rs. 74 but they cancelled my order and said you'll get your refund within 2-3 days and it's more than 7days I didn't receive my money back.. if your restaurants cancelled some order then money must immediately transfer into account... Please do help me as soon as possible..

                                        I ordered something on zomato. Which was cancelled by them. And according to them they refund my money but i didn't get any amount. Then i contact to zomato again and then they provide me a reference id of zaakpay and they told me to check on zaakpay with that reference id. They told me that payment was done from there side...
                                        Pls refund my money to me.
