I am Anjaneya, I am using Zoomcar PEDL service. I always unable to End-Trip and end up paying more money(They charge more).

I Generally use the PEDL app up to 30 - 50 minutes but the application does not allow to end-trip hence end up paying more money to the ZOOMCAR company.

There is no facility to reach out customer care number. Please help me solve the problem.

I have booked the Bicycle at 09:06 pm 16-Aug-18, I finished my trip at 9.56 P.m. and I parked it at the PEDL station, Koramangala 6th block near Devi eye clinic. But I am still unable to end the trip and I am being charged continuously. I supposed to pay only Rs.6/-.

    Dear Zoomcar (Never Stop "Harrassing"),

    I booked XUV 500 on 13th August @ 2PM till 5PM for 3 hours. When i reached to pick the car it took me 1:30 hours to search the car with the help of your customer service. The car was parked at least 500 mtr away from the actual location shared with me. The Customer care and your ZAP associate were blaming each other for the wrong location instead of helping me out to search for car. I had to struggle and walk a lot through each lane on location address to search for the car and it was parked in dump yard. It was an endless harassment.

    Your absolute poor service continued. Thereafter, when I decided to drop the car without using it as I had already lost almost 2 hours searching and unlocking the car. I was left with 1 hour of booking and had missed my plans for the day as well.

    The app didn't let me complete the check out for 30 min adding to more waiting time. When i reach customer care he told me there was some problem during check in process and hence it was not allowing me to check out. He helped after taking around 15 min to lock drop off car the car.

    To my Surprise, you delivered me a additional charges for a cleaning fees. when the car was absolute mess already from exterior and interiors. moreover, i did drive the car for even 1 km and paid for utmost harassment for Zoomcar for complete duration of my booking.

    Lastly, I do not give any damn to Zoomcar (Tit for tat) and its Fraudulent practice of charging customers with unreasonable extra charges even after poorest service & not paying for the charges. You are more than welcome to block me out of your pathetic app and service.

    Firstly, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. This is definitely not the experience we aim to provide to our customers.

    We see that the vehicle is allocated for your booking. As it is a KLE( keyless entry) booking, you will receive an SMS with the exact pickup location 2 hours before the booking start time. Please note, we have launched our keyless entry initiative with the intention to make the pick-up and drop-off completely independent for our users, as there will be no executive available at the location, you will have to just check the condition of the car and submit the checklist as a proof of acceptance and start your trip. Also, you can use the navigation option to reach the vehicle location. If you face any issues, you can reach out to our customer care at [protected].

    In regard to charges levied to the booking, upon rechecking we found that the vehicle was dirty on the inside, hence, the nominal cleaning charges have been levied.

      The lock of the cycle was already broken when i had unlocked it. I came to know when i was about to lock the cycle. So i am unable to end the trip. The trip is being extended and the money from my paytm wallet is being deducted. Also there is no customer support on phone. Your customer care is totally #. After dropping a mail, you say you will reach me within 24 hours. And what do i do till then? Pay you ₹3 per minute? I need my money back and an answer from the company.

        I booked zoomcar id - jps64hgld from 12pm on 12th aug 2018 to 2.30am 13th aug.
        When we went to return the car no zoomcar person was there. The car was delivered in exactly same and good clean condition at 9pm. After we left i got 1000 rupees cleaning bill which is total fake and fraud as the car was provided in clean good condition. Upon calling zoomcar customer care they provided no help and asked to pay such charges. I am a regular zoomcar customer and this kind of fraud charges are intolerable.
        Kindly remove these charges as this is simply black money collected by the zoomcar person

          I took a car from zoom car from dwarka and when i took it there was a dent on the bumper and scratches all over the, the car was dirty from outside as well as from inside, its tyre was punctured as well. I changed the tyre after it was fully deflated on the main road and took the car along with me, however i choosed the car with empty fuel as well and then i refuled it. I returned it before time and now i have been charged 10000 for the dent and scratches which was made before i picked it up. I want to use this app but i why have they charged me for the thing whih i have not done. Someone please take this up as i am a regular customer of zoom app. Someone is trying to play here with me.

          Booking ID - JPS64HE26 The charges which were put on me are invalid as you people said that on first go, i am attaching an image here along with this . I took car on 13th and returned on 13th . The charges 9k were applies on 14th and on complaining you guys said that those charges are Invalid and reversed those charges . After 3 days suddenly you guys applied charges again and this time it was 10 k . I have already mentioned on twitter that the damage was already there before I picked up the car . However I accept my mistake that the excess km charges were genuine for which I paid to you . But I am a middle class person, and I am unable to pay these charges . Please remove these charges asap.

          Today 9 August 2018, I tried to unlock the pedl cycle but it was not unlocked and amount debited from paytm account. Kindly reimburse the amount ₹ 15.00 ASAP.

            I hired a zoom car on 11th august morning 3.30 am to 12th august evening 5 pm. Ref id : jps648tfg.

            I completed my trip and handover the car without out any issues. After a day i got a mail that amount of 9561 was due. This was a shock to me. I returned the car in the same way i took. Dint even had any incident nor accident.

            The reason they have mentioned is

            Excess km rs. 3660 /- (For which i need to break up)

            Vehicle damage charge : rs. 6000/-. I really don't know why they have mentioned.

            I gave in absolutely in proper status.

            This seems to be unnecessary aligation on me. I raised a complaint and they said they will come back.

              Hi,

              I had used my friends DL while booking our last trip but my email ID and mobile number. Now that they have verified with his DL, I'm not able to change/re-upload my own DL.

              Zoomcar customer care is saying that they can't change/delete already verified DL. Neither I'm able to create separate account as my mobile number has already been registered.

              Do know what to do in this case. Not able to call zoomcar support directly to resolve this.

                We have booked a car for rent under the booking id jps6n45t in zoomcar. Zoomcar claims to have ilcredited the refund amount of rs. 4624 to my gift card account number ending 1488. Bank claims that the amount cannot be credited to a gift card account. We have mailed zoomcar about the same and has send the account statement to zoomcar stating that we did not receive the refund amount and requested to initiate the refund process to my hdfc account and have given the account details via mail. Zoomcar did not respond for the mail for past 10 days and the refund has not been credited to my account.

                It was mentioned that 810km was free after that if we travelled more than they will charge accordingly. But we covered 760km only still 50 km were left.so we summited the fuel bill of Rs 2731 but we got the refund of Rs 2431, because of there own calculations for mileage.Is it our fault if there car is not giving mileage as expected.

                  I'd picked up the pedl bike at agara lake, hsr, bangalore
                  After using it for 15mins, i locked the cycle and dropped it back at the place i took from and tried ending the trip, but couldn't.
                  Later i cycled for 1km and dropped it at the docking station outside the agara lake where 10+ cycles were already docked. Again i tried ending the trip, but the app wouldn't.
                  Because of issue with the company app/tech i wasted 1hr trying to end the trip repeatedly and had sent multiple emails asking for support. But they do not have a number where i could talk to someone to report this isse, and the app allowed only emails.

                  Still i haven't gotten a resolution and i am being g charged for every 30mins at rs.3.

                  I booked pedal cycle number 3244443 near forum mall Bangalore. And ended trip in another station near by to forum mall.
                  Initially I got display on screen that trip ended but after some time I opened zoomcar app I saw that that previous cycle trip still on.
                  And even counting time as well as amount..

                    Zoom car – poor service, false promises & cheating the customer

                    We had made a reservation for zoom car (Reservation_booking_id_jps623zrk - (Mahindra scorpio – red - ka51aa2833) on 8th march 2018 to be picked up from dr. Rajkumar road - rajaji nagar (Beside suguna hospital). Though the license was verified successfully during the time of payment, upon reaching the pickup location, suddenly zoom car reverted the status to pending license check and delayed the pickup by almost about 4 hours after which the car was picked up.
                    At the time of pickup the car faced acceleration problems with the car chargers also not in a working condition. Upon notifying the issue to the zoom delivery person, was advised to keep driving and it would “resolve” itself.
                    The car during the drive to swamimalai had erratic acceleration patterns and not riding smoothly at all.
                    Upon reaching swamimalai the acceration kind of worsened and would not move at all. Then after a gap of 10 minutes the car was slowly driven to a near by parking lot of a hotel where the car would not move at all. Upon inspection by a local mechanic, it was suggested that the car could have suffered clutch failure.
                    On contacting zoom customer care, we were told to had over the car to mahindra roadside assistance towing vehicle and a replacement car could not be provided as it was beyond their service area. We were advised to make personal arrangements to get to the hotel and then the cost of it will be reimbursed later (Complaint number: x[protected]ind).

                    Next day, on the 13th, there was no estimate as to when the car will be fixed nor when a replacement car will be provided at which point we opted for ending the reservation. After multiple phone calls to zoom customer care, we were told that the reservation will be ended as of the previous day evening when the car had the breakdown. They also refused to book a cab for the remainder of the journey back home and were told to provide the receipt for later reimbursement.
                    Upon contacting the mahindra service center, we were notified that car had not even had the scheduled maintenance of 40, 000. The next day when contacting zoom car for the reimbursements, we were notified on the zoom car app to pay an outstanding amount of rs 10, 000 and also no refunds will be processed as the failure may have been caused due to driving the car on half clutch resulting in clutch failure. We were shocked that how clutch failure can result just by driving 300 kms.
                    As we have driven well over 20 years both in india and abroad, we very well knew the working of a clutch. Upon placing further calls to zoomcar regarding the refund, they informed that they could only reimburse only the fuel related expenses but would still not refund the rental amount.
                    Zoom car not only did not process the reimbursements as promised, but also failed to refund the unused rental amount thus coming out very unprofessional and unethical in doing business.
                    This has cost us our refund and other cab expenses for the alternatives used.
                    Upon further contacting the mahindra service center which also forwarded the entire service history for the car w rented. Surprisingly, the car had prior clutch issues before the vehicle was rented out to us.

                    Hi Wasim/Zoomcar

                    As stated in my complaint, the car that i rented was having prior clutch issues that is evident from the full vehicle service history which i had obtained from Mahindra Service Center.

                    I have shown above the vehicle history portion where it is having clutch issues and 3rd gear jerking. Despite these facts, the vehicle has been rented out to me because of which the vehicle suffered a breakdown.

                    Also no body has reached out to me yet by phone or email.

                    Also the rental was supposed to end as of the 12 th March 2018 and the unused hours of the rental should be refunded back to me at the earliest.

                    Hi Wasim/Zoomcar

                    As stated in my complaint, the car that i rented was having prior clutch issues that is evident from the full vehicle service history which i had obtained from Mahindra Service Center.

                    I have shown above the vehicle history portion where it is having clutch issues and 3rd gear jerking. Despite these facts, the vehicle has been rented out to me because of which the vehicle suffered a breakdown.

                    Also no body has reached out to me yet by phone or email.

                    Also the rental was supposed to end as of the 12 th March 2018 and the unused hours of the rental should be refunded back to me at the earliest.

                    We did have a check on the booking and the escalation raised. Upon checking we see that the damage charges are valid and we will be unable to do much in this regard. You will have to bear the damages charges levied on the booking.

                      Booking id jps64mykp has been charged incorrectly.

                      Late fine was not there as i have parked the car with 1. Am on 5th aug as i have alreadt extended till 1am.

                      2ndly no damage has been done by me as the car was in bad condition with multiple scratches and rear bumper was not fixed.

                      I have been send recovery notice which is incorrect. Please check on this issue and revoke the charges.

                        Well i booked a swift on 11/8 for which i paid 5900 in advance, in which i had 320 kms free and the car was booked for 16 hours, everything went fine the car was returned on time and also the km limit wasnt exceeded! I was somehow asked to pay 2500 extra because i had exceeded the speed limit of 125, great right? I had no idea about such a thing even existed, i at first argued saying if the company is so concernced about its passengers safety why cant it have a speed lock at 125, they then asked me they cant help me out as these are the company policies and i will have to pay the fine, i would suggest stop going for zoomcar now as it is nothing like before.

                        I used Pedl service on saturday 4 July 2018 in warje, Pune.I collected Cycle from Amebdkar chowk, Warje near by 7 and locked it @ 8.

                        For an hour amount should be charged RS. 6, but on later check i found it was deducted RS. 12.Please return extra amount deducted.

                          Hello, this ia extremely urgent. I am using pedl service in kalyani nagar pune. My cycle number is 3253053. My trip started since yesterday evening around 7:50 pm. I tried ending the trip but im unable to end the trip. Please help this is urgent. It been 12 hrs unable to end the trip. Moreover, i will be out of town please end the trip and refund my money back. And the most annoying fact is you dont have an instant helpline number service, in such discrepancies and emergency situations.

                            I rented a pedl bike at agara lake bangalore on aug 11th, 2018 and used the bike for about 1hr 15min, after which i parked the bike at the lake entrance and locked. However i was unable to end the trip on my phone due to some technical issue. I kept getting a "something went wrong..." message.

                            The application was still charging my paytm account and had to delink and remove my balance to block this charge after the app charged my paytm for 15 rs, which appears to be correct.
                            However, the app is still not letting me end the trip.

                            The cycle # is: 3223342

                            This is frustrating.. I would have thought once you lock the bike, the trip ends like yulu bikes. I really have second thoughts now about renting through pedl zoomcar.

                            I have sent the email with the details to the suggested Helpline email address. I still see a Rs. 33 charge on my account after the rental ended after 15hrs (charging me a total of Rs.45). I used the bike for about 1.15 hrs.

                            I have not received any response back on the adjustment and cannot rent these bikes anymore. I might as well settle with Yulu as their system appears to be reliable. I just rented twice today (Aug 15th) at the same location (Agara Lake Bangalore).

                            Zoomcar support ! - please let me know if you update this account.

                                Has I used pedl cycle on 9th aug at 8:13pm and after 1 and half n hr kept back the cycle and ended it but has my net connection was slow so I thought it would ended up but when I opened the app in the morning, I was extremely socked that Rs 105 has been deducted from my paytm account.                                   Zoomcar Customer care is of no use. Customer care is just rude and harass the Customers.

                                  I booked a zoomcar on 8th aug 2018 pick up time 8:30am
                                  Drop time 4:30 pm (same day, 8th aug ).
                                  Mahindra E20 PLUS ( CAR NAME)

                                  BOOKING ID JPS648GZ9

                                  CAR NUMBER - KA03AF2578

                                  Drop time of the car 4:37pm( as per zoomcar)

                                  Time of charges being applied around 5:30( as per zoomcar records)
                                  The car was of some owner ( not official car of zoomcar).

                                  The car was clean (interiors)
                                  Outside (exterior) was slightly dirty because the area near drop location was muddy and it was raining. Due to which car got slightly dirty from outside ( exterior).
                                  Interiors of the car was absolutely clean (in the same condition i got it in the morning).

                                  After i dropped the car back to the drop location.
                                  I locked the car through ZoomCar App.

                                  Immediately someone else (in front of my eyes) comes and takes the car away ( assuming that was owner of the car)
                                  ( Customer Care is not sharing any information regarding who took the car, infact they are completely denying that someone else drove the car AWAY)

                                  After 1 hour i receive a message stating outstanding of RS4500.
                                  Which includes 3500 damages and 1000 cleaning charges.
                                  Later on after escalating this issue these charges were waived off and the outstanding was rs 0 ( zero).
                                  After 1.5 hour or so ( around 8pm)
                                  Again i got a notification of Rs500 of cleaning charges were updated.
                                  Wasting 30mins with Customer Care got no solution instead was told to wait until 48hours for investigation.

                                  I have written so many mail but information is not being shared about who unlocked the car after i dropped it.
                                  And there was no solution given
                                  Later these charges were updated to RS 1000.( Roughly after 30 hours)

                                  I again contact the customer care, explained them what Happened.
                                  The Customers care staff says obviously some one will take the car away . It must has been given to other Customer. And you are liable for paying these charges .( Cleaning charges)

                                  If someone else is driving the car after i leave it why should i be liable for anything in the car

                                  The response which they give was
                                  "sir these charges are valid and you have to pay them otherwise we will transfer your case to our legal team "

                                  These charges are all false and they are forcing innocent Customer to pay for that.

                                  For mistakes of some else i am being forced to pay Rs1000 .

                                  I'm raising this issue again because there was no solution given by zoomcar . But my complaint was marked as resolved

                                    I was not able to end trip as your app was searching and got timed out frequently. I ended my trip by 20 mins but after 46 mins it got ended on your system and Rs 6 got deducted from my account. Your service is crap.
                                    Yesterday I started the trip but your cycle was not moving due to brake jam. I had to end trip to take another bi-cycle which cost me extra Rs 3.
                                    I will write a mail to your CEO and cyber crime team about your fraudulent activity of deducting money from Paytm and not refunding that amount

                                      I had taken a ride by pedl cycle at around 6.40 pm today and later realised the cycle lock lever is damaged. The bike was parked near the piller so i did not realise then that even the stand is kind of broken. My ride was supposed to be for abt 10 mins and i ended up spending more than an hr trying to end ride. The ride is still not ended.
                                      Need your support on priority basis to end the ride as it is continuously charging me. It iss really disappointing that to save some time i took the ride and ended up spending too much of time in this hassle.
                                      Hoping for a resolution on urgent basis as i am now continuously getting the message of charges overdue.

                                      I have already done the same yesterday. No response so far. The rids is still on and charged me 108 Rs so far.
                                      Haven't heard from anybody. There is absolutely no customer care number available. No on ground help. I am not even sure what one is supposed to do but to wait.

                                        I have started my trip of PEDL cycle at 8.2am and end my trip at 8.39 am.
                                        Now I got bill generated of 78rs for only less than 15 minutes.
                                        Is this new way of looting your customer.
                                        My first experience with zoom car is very bad.
                                        Why you guys charging too much amount for only 15 minutes.
                                        I have also sent multiple mails to help center but couldn't get any response.
                                        Zoom car PEDL is a big scam. They are looking their customers.

                                        it was advising me to take it to nearby station.
                                        If I can take that bicycle from there then why I can not stand there.
