My booking ID JPS624WU7 from 23rd may 5'30 AM to 25th may 1'30 PM.I extended my booking upto 8'30 PM of 25th may by paying around Rs.700.The customer care personnel told me that I can drop the car in any of the zoom car sheds present in Coimbatore.So, I went to the Airport shed to drop my car.But the zoom car personnel did not allow me to drop it there and told me to drop the car from where i picked.I told him that i was instructed to drop the car in any of the sheds.But he didn't even listen to me.After much arguements in the freezing night, I dropped the car from where i picked at 2'30 AM.I uploaded the fuel bills of worth Rs.1500.But the zoom car admin charged me more than Rs.5000 as late fee and charges.This came to my notice only after few days.I seriously condemn the zoom cars for the false charging and request them to refund the security deposit and the fuel bills as soon as possible.

    We had a ride more than a week back[may 27th] with mahindra kuv [booking id jps62fe6i]. The trip was from bangalore to yercaud. During the trip, we faced issues with engine and mileage which we already complained in the mid-way. Also, during the trip one of the rear tyre got punctured and we replaced it with the spare available in the dicky of the car. When we checked the tyre pressures in a petrol bunk, we could find that each tyre was having high variations in air pressures. This itself shows the poor maintenance by zoomcar before handing over to the customer.
    Once the trip ended, we received damage charges of 4500 in relation to the rear tyre. We complained via customer care and requested for more details on the charges levied on us. But we didn't get any response. We enquired numerous times with customer care, but noone was sure of any kind of info related to the case. We received automated mails only on the bill payment reminders and not a single mail for the complaint raised. When enquired, the customer care official says they have taken it up on high priority, but no update to the customer. Finally, we received a mail after a week or so saying the levied charges are valid and accurate... Thatsit! No other info...
    [ point to be noted: in one mail they have mentioned damage charges as 1000 and as 4500 in account ]
    We responded back to the mail asking for more details, but still we didn't receive any response. Even after multiple mails from our end, we received no prompt response.
    After more than a week, we received a call today[june 9th] saying the charges are valid[as usual] and i have to pay the amount asap; and threatened me stating legal issues. And its really irritating that noone is ready to give a proper clarity on the damage charges levied on us. Do we need to pay 4500 for puncture which we have replaced with the available spare...?
    We are ready to pay the amount, but we need more clarity on what sort of damage we have done. If they are not ready to give explanation means there must be a problem from their end and they are not ready to disclose it with us.

    We customers have the right to get clarity on the charges levied on us. The way zoom car is charging customers is a clear and serious case of cheating!!!

    @zoomcar Team: We are receiving the same copy paste updates from your team ever since we started enquiring, that too delayed response. What you believe is not fully correct. One of your team has reached out to us just once inorder to compel and threaten us in paying the amount. We have already updated multiple times reg. the the issue. And we are really sorry to say, its difficult to trust the pic of the punctured tyre you guys have sent us 2 weeks after the trip. We are damn sure that the puncture was not that bad as your pic. A full brand new tyre costs less that 4.5K and you guys are compelling your customers to pay 4500 just for a puncture? It would have been used by many customers before our trip and thus enough ear and tear would have occurred for the tyre. So please get back to us with reasonable charges. Else we might be forced to go to even higher levels.

    There is an interesting development in the case. We have received a mail stating legal issues and civil proceedings. This is really cheap way of looting money from customers. And there is no justification for the charges levied on the customer @ZoomCar : we haven't seen such a worst Customer support anywhere.

    Whole new branded tyre costs less than Rs.4500. Asking customers to pay 4500 just for a puncture is ridiculous, that too they are giving reasons after 2 weeks of time. Sad to say that I'll not use zoomcar services anymore.

    You are right Sangamesha, the puncture wasn't that bad as I remember. First of all, the car we received wasn't properly maintained which we already complained in the mid of the trip. Again the air pressure in the tyres - one side 25, the other side 37; again another tyre not even near to it. Many people might have used the car as well before our trip. Hence it might have gone through enough wear and tear. If we received an improperly maintained car and if the tyre got punctured, do we need to pay an amount of 4500+???

    Also as I already mentioned, we don't think the puncture was that bad as per the pic shared by Zoom Car. Also, most importantly Zoom car Team has shared the pic after 2 weeks!!! Where were they all till date? How many times we tried to grab the info from them??? How can we trust it's genuine? We have seen numerous such complaints against the company from other customers online.

    @Zoom Car Team: Treat your Customers as your guests and have/build a trustworthy relationship!!!

    Hopefully you guys will come up with a proper workaround!
    I have seen multiple complaints against zoomcar now. Let's see how long they take to respond and how the issue is handled.

    Better not to use their services if the customer service isn't good enough. People use these services for convenience. If it's not hassle free, there is no point at all, availing such services.
    Worst service ever!!!.

    They have to know it's them who needs the customer and threatening to just pay the bill without proper justification.So poor service...

    They have to realise that they depend on the customers and not vice versa.

    Providing the customers with cars with damaged tyres is a threat to life for the customer itself ..this is not the way to make profit for a genuine business.

    Too bad, seems like we have to switch to other rental services.
    I would not even like to rate one star after seeing this detailed complaint which has written here. Zoom Car has got it's fame now and that doesn't mean that this the way to take money from the customers. If a fine has been taken from advance amount it should be on the bill, why zoomcar has charged this amount of money. And in this world taking a picture and showing to the customer will be the ideal case, so that people will have trust in zoomcar. Here in this case without even showing the damage taking money is the worst thing which zoomcar can do. I guess the officials of zoomcar should step down and clarify the issue.

    Rather than breaking the trust of customers who actually depend on zoomcar.

    4500 is a ridiculous amount of money asking for a puncture. Since they haven't provided any information which the client asked, there is something fishy in zoom car's service charges. Clearly this is overcharging. I would not use zoom car since I have found many complaints against them.
    I hope this issue gets acknowledged and rectified at the earliest.
    The worst service by Zoomcar. The least score is 1, hence giving it. If there was an option "-1" I would have definitely rated that. I will never use Zoom car and make sure that none of my friends uses it. Zoom car team charged us an extra of ₹4500 as "damage charges" where in, only the rare tyre was punctured. I don't know who is the great mechanic who charges ₹4500 for a puncture fix.

    Team, please let us know if you want tips we are generous to give you. Please don't charge like this, you will definitely loose customers. If you want run your business under profit try to increase the base price instead of looting the money from customers.

      Today i have booked a car ford figo in the evening booking id is jps626pr9. Booking details :- 8th june 2018 (8:00 pm) to 9th june 2018 (7:00 am). I am facing a issue right now when i booked zoom car i had selected madhapur location as my self pick up point. But i have been asked to pick my car 41 km away from my place. I spoke to your customer care executive named arvind who was mentioning that i have booked for that place which is 41 km away from my place and i don't know the place at all. I requested him to give me car at my near by location because i have selected madhapur and i have proof for the same. But he is denying by giving me all the excuses. After that i asked him to give me refund in my bank account but he said that we can't give. So i request you to so something as i am not going to pick the car as it is so obvious if i have selected near by place and you are giving 41 km away. This is ridiculous and hopeless service in both ways. I need urgent solution for that. Here i am attaching the proofs. This is my new phone from where i have not done any booking. Today was my first booking and as history says i have selected madhapur. So now i don't care i need my money back this is really a concerned issue.
      One more thing i want to highlight as in your mobile app we have to write a location obviously i cannot write that location which i even don't know. So help me out in anyway. Anyways my and my friends evening is ruined at least give me justice

          Thanks forum for helping me reach the appropriate team at Zoom Car. Zoom Car refunded the amount today, apart from calling and writing emails also posted my complaint on Consumercomplaints.in and Play store Reviews, received response from all teams, but action was taken post my complaint on this forum. Frequent follow up is must as customer care team keeps on rotating hence individual follow up is must.

          Recd a revert saying we would refund, the next day received another email saying no refund due, fed up of following up.

          Go thru the snapshots which confirms zoomcar receiving payments and now saying no refund due.

          Have not booked a car since last issue.

            Hello team, i booked a cycle on zoomcar pedl app. I unlocked cycle no 102521 in ideal colony around 6 pm on june 7, 2018. Cycle unlocked in app but did not unlock actually and the trip started. I received msg that pedl trip has started on cycle no. 102521. I tried for 5 min. Asked for support. Nothing worked and i ended that trip. Without using it even for a min rs 3 were charged. I unblocked another cycle no 3253176. This too unlocked after attempting for 10 min. I started the trip and within less than 20 min i ended it as seat was not adjusting. Trip ended after several attempts. Within 1/2 hr i received msg that i need to return the cycle to avoid
            Any outstanding. I ended it again. Rs 12 was blocked from my wallet. Again after an hour this process repeated. The app was showing my trip in progress. I ended it again and was changed rs 12/ still after some time app was showing my trip in progress and time was more than 3 hrs and instruction to extend the trip. I sent mails for support, followed the instructions. However my several attempts to end the trip have failed. Now it's more than 6 hrs that trip is still in progress in app, trip cost rs 36 and i am ubale to end the trp. This is disgusting. They don't have even any contact no to handle any requests. Pathetic service.

            I mailed zoomcar for support to [email protected]. The company sent two representatives next day to the spot to check the cycle and resolve the issue. The trip was ended. Sent mails again to [email protected] asking for the refund of excess amount that was charged. I got cash back after 4 days.

            Same here even i unlocked the cycle near agara lake and parked the cycle near bellandur it took hardly an hour to reach there. I locked the cycle and when I tried to end the trip it says invalid action its been since 3 and half our standing at that place trying to end my trip I couldn't do that but the amount is still increasing now its been completely 5 hours. it is really frustrating trying 3 and half hours to end the trip and it's still not done. I sent a mail also but couldn't end the trip, they asked me to give the following details and I submitted all those but there is no reply at all for the mail. If the amount keeps on increasing I m not gonna pay it

            Mention your cycle no, date, mobile no from which it was booked and pincode, if you haven't mentioned earlier in the mails you send to zoomcar support The mails that I sent with this information got reply from zoomcar. Also when you receive any mail from zoomcar, reply to the thread of that mail, don't reply directly to support. It should work if it's still not resolved.

              They charges 1000 rupees in the name of cleaning charges, it's very obvious that if you take a car for rental 4-5 days it will get quite dirty and for that normal process they charge 1000 bucks which is not at all genuine charge, the maximum charge should be 200 rupees. Please look into the matter so that next time some one can save his hard earned money.

                Dear team,
                I would like to convey that i had booked a car on 7th may 2018 for the duration of 6 days and eventually made the payment of rs 17570. But while uploading the documents it was not taking my documents as i am a french national.
                So, i cancelled my booking due to inability of zoomcar to take my documents.

                I was informed that i will get the refund of rs 11285 only.

                It means i was levied with the penalty of rs 6285, which is a huge amount.
                You are requested to kindly arrange for refund of my penalty amount as it is not my fault that you are not accepting my documents.

                I need response early so as to avoid me to go legally with zoom car. For your information i have still not receive the balance 6285 inr. If it is not done asap i will be obliged to engage the french embassy lawyer to solve this issue

                  When i tried to book a zoomcar i got the message that your account has been blocked. I reported that to zoomcar customer executive, he replied that you have multiple active accounts that's why your account has been blocked. Another account with my friend's email id.
                  I replied them again that i do have multiple accounts and the account you claiming to be mine is not mine, it's my friend's account. But i didn't get any satisfactory reply.
                  I tried to contact them more than four times. But i still having the same problem.

                    I unlocked a cycle in pune at 6.28 pm on 5th june. And i wanted to end the trip at 6.50. But the lever of the lock on the cycle was already broken and now i am unable to end the trip. Its been 12 hours now and i have been charged 72 rupees. Please look into this issue and solve it at the earliest and refund my money back. Also provide some customer care number.

                      I have taken zoomcar for 3 days and i have fueled my car with 3 bill which makes total 7000 but company provided me refund of 4000 saying that they calculate average and i agree with them but when i called them and asked about my ending fuel... They said 30% only but i have done my full fuel tank before 100 km of ride so it should be minimum 80%... The fleet working in zoom have done this to earn in this and i had to lost my 3000 rupees... Please help me with this

                        I booked a zoomcar for 1130am on 5th june and was not provided the car in workable condition. On wasting 0.5 hours they alloted new car. On returning the car they fined 4000/- online and 1500/- in cash. The executive threatened me to pay in cash. The fine was for a damage which was present while taking the car. Since i had complained about the poor quality of car to the executive over call he charged me with a damage fine which wasn't done by me. I would like a refund of rs. 5500/ and also compensation for the torture i had to go through

                          We had rented a car, Ford Figo from zoomcar which is a self drive car rental agency. The steering of the car was not aligned, the more we drove it, the alignment was getting worse. The car was not going in the direction in which we wanted it to. Somehow, we reached the location where we wanted to go. Drove just about 40 kilometers. When we took the car out from the parking, the issue kept getting worse. We complained about this to the company. The company tells us to come back and drop the car. We then tried to drive it again, but the car's left tire kept getting more and more left like it would come out, we braked the car on the expressway and from the right most lane went to the leftmost lane. it was our luck that there was no truck or car coming from the right side otherwise it would have been a very very bad collision. We got out, reported the issue again, this time they said that they will send a tow truck. We had reported this incident at 1:30pm Pushed the car to the side with to many difficulties. The tow truck came at 4:30 and took the car. The next day we see a fine of 10, 435rs levied by them on us. Why? How? Was it really our fault to believe and obey what they say and then even pay a whopping 10, 000 rs to them for putting our lives in danger? I want this company to be sued for putting our lives in danger, if this does not happen. I'll walk to the consumer court myself for putting our lives in danger and then extorting money from us as well.

                            Hi,

                            I have booked car on zoomcar for my friend's wedding on 27 april, 2018.
                            I picked up a car from parking in residential building. It was very dirty from inside and with empty fuel tank. I could hardly drive 20 kms.

                            There is no person avalibale to verify the details.

                            As i was in very hurry, i did not check all the documents one by one. Just checked bunch of it is there. Moreover, i need to refuel it immediately which has wasted half an hour.

                            I did not faced any traffic police check. So, we have not touched documents.

                            I used it and return back before given time.
                            After almost 2 days later, i got a call from zoomcar saying that rc is damaged. So, you need to pay the fine. I told i am not agree as i have not touched it. How it can happen. So, they told we will file a complaint and will do re check on the same.

                            On next day, i got a call and they told rc is missing from the documents.
                            And they did not resolved my issue. They are not listening to me for any reason.

                            I said i will not pay anything as i have not done anything. So, they told me we are sending legal notice and all.

                            they are doing the same with me. They never made me check the documents. I am a foreign national and will be going leagal against zoomcar. Looks like their regular policy to earn some extra ruppees.

                              I am very shocked to say this but my experience with the zoom car has been phenomenally bad. I had my driving license (Original) but it was laminated. The shack employee was so rude and impudent, he refused to even see a laminated piece and said no refund will be given to you. I have never had to face so much undignified and irresponsible behavior at 2 am in the night where there was no one else to help me. They are looting money. I called up the customer care executive and he said "do whatever you want you wont get a penny from us" i was dejected to so much of insult. I have never had a worse experience and they are openly committing fraud without being checked upon.

                                  On 3rd june i unlocked the cycle in pune i saw the lock is broken due to which i can't lock it and end my trip... I left the cycle at the station and immediately sent a complaint i did everything they said in the email i even sent the the picture of the cycle... My trip didn't end for 2 hour's and now m being charged for it. There is no number to contact directly email is the only way and no one replied it's just auto reply i get... It's so frustrating.

                                    -locked in pedl station petoo but trip end is not being reflecting in app. This is pathetic i used it for 2 he 15 min and came back same station and locked cycle and payment of rs.15 also taken from my paytm wallet. But i try to end trip it is not at all processing and showing still time running and amount outstanding in app. This is pathetic service and no customer care number or somebody to help at station. So i immediately ended trip. I could not use the bike. This happened for 4 different bikes that i tried.
